I was thinking about how cool it was that even tho it was very clear based on context clues that they should kneel to the dragons the party doesn't and Apophis also doesn't care. But like it maybe me realize that Wilde and Saira did.

And like yes, Wilde is a high ranking meritocratic officer but he doesn't deal directly with the deagons frequently. It is still a bonkers protocol to have to kneel everytime you talk to like your bosses boss but like at least it's not a normal everyday thing. But Saira works directly to Apophis. She kneels everytime she goes talk to her boss and like I don't think Apophis even wants that, is more likely he is trying to preserve the tradition created by his sibblings/thinks is maybe just a normal reaction to dragons and the people enjoy it (?), so he is tolerating it but also so are all of his employees so everyone is unhappy and Saira must've been screaming internally that it took her baby brother weird bs for her to realize she was just ruining the knees in her pants and feeling rly weird for nothing cause Apophis was also feeling rly weird.
