I don't like adrinette month. Maybe because I don't ship the lovesquare (because I find it forced, pls don't explain to me how it's perfect, I get that a lot), but still, I respect people who do so. Though I do think it's unnecessary to have months for the love square, like, everyday is lovesquare day already. And I was so happy about femslash February (and alyanette April) but those are now apparently lovesquare months :/ can some people just respect other ships that aren't the lovesquare??????

I see where you’re coming from, anon. Over the past few months I’ve fallen out of love with the love square because of the way the fandom prioritizes it. Not only does it get 4x the focus of a normal “popular” ship, but people get ridiculously defensive if someone tries to ship something involving mari or adrien that isn’t love square (like alyanette). and it’s kind of annoying that it always seems to be some form of appreciation week/month because those two have copious amounts of content produced every single day. 

and like, sure, I understand if you do want to arrange an event but pleaSE make sure it doesn’t interfere with something else? it just seems really inconsiderate that whoever decides these things either didn’t know or didn’t care that something else was happening the same months and now, of course, it’s going to take priority
