succession mainstream fandom is so much less irritating than spn fandom to me and it’s not because people are any smarter. bc they’re NOT. half the people in succ fandom r convinced kendall is a victim of every other character and obsessed with tomgreg and most of them couldn’t say anything about shiv other than <3 girlboss <3 or bitch and lets not even go in the vicinity of the roman takes. but at least every character in succession like. sucks ass. it doesn’t make me as personally angry when, like, shiv and roman get mischaracterised as when SAM gets mischaracterised. cause sam does NOT in any way deserve that. whereas shiv and roman like sure i guess. you’re wrong about them but they’re still terrible people so it doesn’t Upset me. whereas i find bad sam takes genuinely distressing <3
