Don't you think it's funny cause actual canon gay characters in BL manga will say "I love you" but only the shounen bromance can spew out some of the most romantic shit akin to a 19th century poet writing a letter expressing his surpressed love for his lover 😭.....

Idk what BL manga or shounen you're reading but man the BL manga I've been reading over the years can get really romantic / floral / excessive / poetic / extra. But then I read like 100+ BL manga + webtoons last year alone so that might be why I still think BL manga is still more romantic than a shounen bromance. :D

(That being said, Killua goes so hard for Gon in the Chimera Ant arc - and tbh afterwards as well. But I've also just seen so many shounen where this isn't a thing at all, so I don't really think of shounen in this way, because imho the majority of it isn't quite like this. But when it goes hard, it goes hard indeed).
