I love oMark so much. The way he lashes out is so real to me. That is exactly the thing I'd say when I'm feeling grief (or any strong negative emotions) and someone says they know how I feel. I'd go full dick mode. You don't know what I feel and you'll never know. This never happened to you, and if it did I'd feel bad but not like I'd lose sleep over it. Your sympathy is empty to me. Don't give me hope because nothing will change. Leave me to wallow in sadness and self-pity, I've lived too long in this mess that it starts to feel like home.

"Maybe that's not so necessary," I murmured as I held his gaze.

"What's not necessary?" His voice was a little lower again as he whispered. 

"That it must be appropriate"

I could smell him. His perfume, a little sweat, the alcohol and the cigarette,  his body. I inhaled a deep breath, then took a sip of my drink and felt a little dizzy.

My senses were simultaneously sharpened and completely lost as to what they should focus on.

His fingers touched my hand, which was lying on the table, and I felt the warmth emanating from him.

My chest rose and fell as I gasped greedily for air. I wanted to hear him talk more, see more of him, smell him, taste him, touch him, experience and explore him with everything I had.

"I think we're past that point," he replied and I felt his finger run over my knuckles, tracing the veins on the back of my hand.

I looked at his hand, up his arm, over his shoulder, his collarbone, to his face. We were close. And I wanted nothing more than to close the distance between us.

"Do you think it'll make much of a difference then?" I breathed, moving the last few inches between our bodies towards him until mine met his.

"I don't think so," he murmured, before I felt his hand on my side and he finally, finally, leaned down and our lips met.

Uh... I've Technically only ever Read Out of Stock, because I never bought the Graphic Novels myself and, instead, got my Friend to send me the Entire Thing throught Pictures-

rewatching the scene where hawk meets kenny in the bathroom and it's so funny in retrospect like why did he even come in? he entered, gave his advice/threat to kenny, and then just left immediately after?? did he decide it took the oomph out of his message if he went to piss right after? did he just come to check on bert and nate? does he have a special sense for conflict and just followed it to the boys bathroom? does he just like to hang out in public school bathrooms? what is his deal?
