Joshua 7:16-9:2, Luke 16:1-18, Psalms 82:1-8, Proverbs 13:2-3
Today is the 13th day of April, welcome to the Daily Audio Bible I am Brian it’s great to be here with you kind of in this post Easter glow. Sure, we can just treat it as another workday, we can just move back into the isolation that we’ve been feeling for the last month, but we’re not supposed to. Easter changed everything and let’s not let that fade so quickly back into the cares of this life. Let’s take the gratitude that we feel when Easter time comes. Let’s carry that forward into this week and allow that gratitude to shape the rest of this week. And let's take the next step forward in the Scriptures and allow the word of God to wash into our lives and inform us for the days ahead. So, we’re reading the…from the English Standard version this week. And in the book of Joshua, we’ve seen the first battle, the battle of Jericho and the walls came tumbling down and then we saw the second battle in which a smaller amount of Israelite…Israelite fighting men went up to…to pursue this city Ai, and they turned and ran. And God informed Joshua that it was because envy and greed had entered the picture, and somebody had taken things from Jericho and hid them, and this was forbidden by the Lord. So, we’ll try to get that all sorted out. And that's where we pick up the story. Joshua chapter 7 verse 16 through 9 verse 2 today.
Prayer:
Father, we thank You for Your word. And we thank You for bringing us into this new week. And we think back over the last several days moving through the Easter holiday and we don't want to just move past it. We don't want to just get things back to how they were as quickly as we can. We’ve been learning to observe disruptions or changes in our lives and look for You and Your kingdom in them. And, so, once again we take the time to be grateful, we take the time to be overwhelmed by Your love for us because when we do take this time and we do become fully aware, everything else in our lives begins to have context. And the things that pull us apart in a million different directions, we realize those entanglements aren't necessarily necessary. And, so, we invite Your Holy Spirit, the same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead to well up within us because this is what the Scriptures tell us has happened because of the resurrection. And what we need is eyes to see and ears to hear, to become aware of this. And that changes how we might live today and tomorrow and every other day for the rest of our lives for all of eternity. And, so, we stay with this and we linger in it and we ask that the season that we've just come through, that would be transformative, that it wasn't just another Easter holiday, as interesting and different as it was, that we become aware that everything has changed and the more that we become aware of the shift the more that we can walk straight into all that You have for us in this life and all of the collaboration that we get to do as Your body on this earth as brothers and sisters throughout the world. Come Holy Spirit we pray into all of this. This is our prayer and we ask in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Community Prayer and Praise:
[singing starts] Oh tell me who can stand before me when I call on His great name? Jesus, Jesus precious Jesus we have the victory [sing stops]. Good morning DABBers this is Victorious Vanessa from Maryland and I just wanted to encourage you this morning, today is the 7th of April and as I sit in my car and put on my mask and get ready to put my gloves on to go in and help some people, I’m a respiratory therapist and them also 65 years old coming out of retirement. I just want to encourage you that God is faithful, He is not a man that He should lie. He says that no weapon formed against us will prosper and that we obey the instructions that are being given to us we don’t have any problems. So, look to God, look to the heels from which comith your help and your help comith from the Lord. He has not given us a Spirit of fear but with a sound mind He gives us the victory. I love you guys. Be careful, be safe because we win. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
Hi Daily Audio Bible my name is Emily and today is April 7th. I just finished listening to today’s podcast and wanted to call in and pray for someone who I heard in the prayer request today. I did not hear a name, but they said that they were feeling very disappointed in themselves, overtaken by evil thoughts and I just wanted to call in and say that those evil thoughts are not from the Lord. I have been in such a time as that and in those times I had to cling second Timothy 1:7 which I encourage you to do and it says, “for God has given not given us a Spirit of fear but of power and of love and of a sound mind.” I encourage you to just repeat this to yourself every day. I encourage you to search God’s word every day because God’s word is truth. Your feelings are not truth, God’s word is. And the devil can fill us with so many lies and tell us that we can’t be in God’s presence and that God is angry with us, but they are just lies, and I want you to know that God is with you, God is watching over you, and God loves you and he will get you through this. And I pray in the name of Jesus Lord that You will give this person peace and joy amidst this desperate time Father that You will help them to grow in faith in this and they will seek You each day and know that they are loved by You. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
Hey Daily Audio Bible family this is John calling from Bethlehem Pennsylvania it’s 6th April just about 9 o’clock or so p.m. here in the evening after another day sheltering in place we’re being, you know, maybe physically distant from one another but not socially distant because we’ve got this amazing virtual community where we can come together. My call today is for three people, Brave from New Jersey who called in on the 2nd, for Adrian from Maryland who called on the 2nd, and for Carmen from Germany who also called in on the 2nd. So, first of all, Brave, I want you to know that in God, in Jesus Christ, and in the Holy Spirit that you have everything. In Him you’re totally complete and your capacity to experience him increases through the removal of all the debris and clutter from your heart. You’re going through a lot right now. You’ve been through an abusive emotional relationship and I’m praying for you sister. I love you and I know that God has a special plan for you. Remember, you’re gonna go through this wilderness season, and Lord knows it sounds like you have for a long time, and out of it is going to come something just absolutely unimaginably beautiful. So, just hang in there, sister. I’m thinking of you. And then Adrian from Maryland, gosh, here’s what I have for you sister. God meets you in the stillness of your soul. It’s right there that He seeks to communion with you. In your message you said that you commune together with God. Oh my gosh, Adrian. That’s exactly…that’s exactly where the presence of God is, it’s your relationship with Him it’s not in your words. And it was beautiful. And lastly Carmen, thanks for the shout out. I love you sister. Family, I am praying for you, I love you, I appreciate you. Brian thank you and God bless you.
Hi Daily Audio Bible it’s Rebecca from Michigan and it’s April 7th. I wanted to thank Brian for reading Sneezing Jesus. I was reading along with you in my hard copy because I’ve got a book here and I sat down to read and while I’m not a big reader, but it made me want to read other books after this. But I like…I was…the thing that Maudie Thursday and I realized that was the time that Jesus was washing the feet of the disciples and I remember you talking about that in the book and how their feet was dirty and come from all grimy sections and how Peter didn’t want his feet washed and how Jesus said “you’ll want this”, basically. So, yeah, it’s like…I’m thinking our feet must be where…well nowadays we wear shoes and socks so they’re cleaner than they used to be. But I know they used to wear sandals and sometimes went barefooted, so your feet could’ve been all over. You could have been stepping in feces and all kinds of stuff and…but it’s like how God took the time to wash our feet and He took the time…He went to the cross because He knew that He was going there and…thank you Jesus for dying for us. Yeah. Thank you for reading that book. I really appreciate it a lot. It was really a blessing to me. It helped me see the Bible a little bit better and Jesus’ life. Bye.
This is Vicky from Des Moines I’m a first-time caller today is April 7th. I’m calling in response to a prayer request from an individual who didn’t leave a name, but the message can be heard at the 39 minute 42 second mark in the podcast. I just want that person to know that feeling disappointed in oneself and feeling as if God in angry at you are tricks the devil plays to keep you separated from God. You did the right thing by calling in for prayer. The Bible says where two or three are gathered in his name God is there. You have a whole Global Campfire family praying for you. Be encouraged because God isn’t angry with you. He loves you unconditionally. There’s nothing that can separate you from the love of God. He knows your heart and hears your prayers and blesses your obedience. When you feel weak, He is strong. He can soften your heart. He is your avenger and your defender. Darkness won’t win. Continue to pray and draw near to God and we pray for you as well.
Well good morning Daily Audio Bible community this is Diane Olive Brown saying shalom, shalom and putting my log on the fire and joining with all of you. And I just had to come again. I hope this will be allowed with my second time in the same day. It’s 2:23 AM, Tuesday…Wednesday, April the 8th, 2020. And I just heard a lady that was struggling with abuse from satanic rituals. Oh…my heart went out to you because, you know, I had abuse. I never was in satanic rituals, but my father was a…my first father, my birth father was very abusive and almost killed my mother twice. And, so, I just know…I know you can go down into a dark, dark, dark hole. And I want you to know that God hears you. When you can’t feel Him or see Him or have any confidence and you’re in this dark, dark, dark place He’s right there with you. He’s right there with you. When you can’t see His hand, trust His heart. On this Easter week I’m praying for you my friend. I understand some of your pain, maybe not all of it, but shalom shalom. Shalom shalom.
Hi DAB family this is Liza calling from the East Coast. Today is Wednesday, April 8th and I wanted to pray for the woman who called in at the very end of the prayer requests who mentioned that she is just really struggling with the pain of the abuse and wondering if God is there with her in all of this. And I just wanted to let you know I’ll be praying for you. God is absolutely there with you and he loves you. He is there with you every step of the way. And I know that the pain is…is really hard but…but there is a light at the end of the tunnel, and this will end. It will be better. On my end, I...I just want to pray for everyone who is cooped up at home and maybe not a very safe home environment. I know for me, when I was going through abuse when I was a kid, this would’ve been my worst nightmare, just being trapped at home. I felt like my only safe place was really going to school. And, so I’m just praying for all those, anyone whether you’re a child or an adult and you’re trapped in an unsafe environment at home. I just want to let you know I’m lifting you up in prayers, that God protect you, that God keeps you safe, both mentally and physically. And I just want to let you know that I will be praying extra for you because I can’t even imagine how hard it is for you right now. On my end I just also ask for some prayers about just staying sane in all of this and living alone. And, so, I just realized I’m probably not gonna get any kind of hug or any physical contact for a few more months. And, so, I’m just trying to find some positives in all of this. I pray for all of you. Thank you all so much for sending in your prayer requests and sharing your encouragement. Hope everyone has a great rest of your day.

RWBY V6 CH8 Review: Dead End
Last week, Kerry revealed that the finale would take place on January 26th, which since this week was a holiday, totals to a 13 episode season. It's one episode short from last year, but hey 13 is a standard number for an anime season, so fair enough. Also sorry that this took so long, I had... stuff happen with the blog the past few days. But it's fixed now, I posted Chapter 7 yesterday, and now it's time to cover Chapter 8! Lets get to it!
Overview
Team RWBY, Qrow, and Maria at at Argus' military base, but are denied access by the... bizarre twin guards. I think that they may be based on The Cards form Alice in Wonderland, and it'll be more clear why in a bit. The heroes are forced to play the Weiss Schnee card, and it gets the guards to agree to fetch their commanding officer. But to the ire of all the Winter fans out there... it's not her. Maria thinks that she knows who it is though, and they happen to be enemies because said CO put Maria on the advanced screening list for life for taking cashews on a flight. Sheesh. But hey, maybe Maria's right and she's dead! Funniest moment of the episode BTW.
The CO of the Argus base is an egotistical elderly woman known as Caroline Cordovan. She displays much of the attitude that we expect from Atlas characters. Egotistical, boastful, authoritarian, and sees Atlas as the greatest kingdom of all. She had already refused to help JNR, who are also there, and it's pretty clear that she's not going to help the group still. They try to reason with her by explaining that they know that Atlas isn't at fault for Beacon, but it only makes it worst. Cordovan DOES offer to take Weiss home if she's come to her senses... but isn't going to do the same for her friends of 'questionable nature' while looking at Blake. Wow, she's a racist. Lovely. When Weiss questions this, Cordovan slams the gates int heir faces. I agree with Maria's previous sentiment, she's a she-devil. I'm pretty sure that she's supposed to be the Queen of Hearts considering her personality, which would explain the guards being the Cards.
With the plan reaching... well, a dead end, Qrow calls it quits and goes to drink. So he obviously learned nothing form Brunswick! JNR just suggests coming up with a plan without him, pointing out that they still have Ozpin. Que an awkward beat and we cut to later... where Jaune punches a hole in his sister's wall. I hope she has home insurance. So yeah... JNR doesn't take the truth well. Even Nora is pissed off. I'm... mixed about this. It's very understandable for them to be angry and upset, especially considering they lost Pyrrha due to this. But it does bring up a minor critique I have. The response to Salem being un-killable and Ozpin not having a true plan have all ha done reaction: anger and giving up. Some took ti worst than others, but it's still the same. The only one who hasn't is Ruby, which helps but it makes the fact that no one is wondering 'well maybe we can win without killing Salem' or 'maybe we can ask Jinn if there's a way to defeat Salem and not destroy her' hasn't been brought up once. It gets annoying when, even though you understand why everyone is reacting the way that they are, no one has had any logical thought since and continue to spew in their negativity, like Qrow is. All I'm saying is let the reactions be a bit more diverse, if only to keep this from getting either predictable or just irritating.
Oscar tries to calm everyone down, pointing out that they aren't the bad guys in this. Jaune questions this however before storming over to Oscar, wanting to know if he had known about this the whole time. Even when Weiss tries to say he didn't, Jaune grabs the farmboy and slams him into the wall, questioning where his loyalties stand and even if it's even Oscar that they're talking to. Throughout, Oscar is clearly terrified and it only ends when Ruby calls out Jaune. To the paladin's credit, this get shim to realize what he's doing and is clearly horrified. He backs away before going upstairs, Nora and Ren soon following and wanting to be left alone. The RWBY girls also scatter, leaving a clearly distraught Oscar. Great for none of you to check if he's okay or not. Doing a bang up job ladies.
As the others go to get food, Ruby goes outside to an absolutely beautiful butterfly garden. She's trying to call Qrow to find out where he is, but she gets nothing and throws her Scroll in frustration. It's clear that all of this is beginning to get to Ruby, something that Maria, who had gone back there to avoid the yelling, sees as well. Ruby explains how with everything happening, she's at a loss of what to do. Maria can't help with that, or at least she can't without it defeating the purpose, but she does offer to help Ruby feel better if she's sick of not knowing about things. Yes my friends, we are FINALLY going to talk about the Silver Eyes! I have waited for this for so long!!!
When Ruby explains what she does know, aka more or less nothing Maria explains that there isn't much known about the bloodline. She was lucky as she was trained by her father, who we can assume was also a Silver Eyed Warrior. He taught Maria all that she knew and it led her to scoring higher on the Huntress Exam than any other applicant without having to even attend one of the academies. But if the Silver Eyes are so powerful, why are they so rare? Simple, they were hunted down and killed by Salem. This is why Maria took on a masked persona and hid things such as her name, to hide her powers and not be a target. Of course, we all know how that ended, and Maria credits her survival to both her training and her Semblance. The latter is revealed to be what she dubs Preflexes, which is more or less Spider Man's Spidey Sense. She can sense things before they happen and can be one move ahead of her opponent due to it. Awesome!
Ruby is all set to learn to vaporize monsters with her eyeballs... which earns her a bonk on the head. I guess Maria attended the Rafiki School of Mentorship. The Silver Eyes aren't fueled by the desire to destroy Grimm, it is powered by the desire to protect people. On every case where Ruby used the powers thus far (Pyrrha's death, Jaune facing Cinder, The Apathy), she did so because she was trying to save someone and it allowed her to freeze the Wythern and vaporize the Apathy.  Maria goes on to explain that where the Grimm were created by the God of Darkness, the light of the Silver Eyes comes form his brother, the God of Creation. How does Maria know this? Well remember in Jinn's vision when the God turned into the dragon for the first time? We saw a burst of light that vaporized the Grimm. I thought that was just the effects of the transformation.. wow I feel stupid! That is an awesome detail!
Now since the light only effects Grimm, any training that Ruby can get is going to be a trial by fire. But Maria does suggest that the young huntress can work to create a mindset that she can turn to in order to unleash the power when she needs to. But Ruby is confused by something. The light on works on Grimm, right? Well if you recall, Ruby was able to use it on Cinder back in Haven... IDK how she remembers this since Emerald knocked her out immediately, but still. Now we all know why that is, but Ruby doesn't. Which has Maria suggest that maybe there's something that the huntress isn't seeing. But anymore talk comes to an end as Ruby and JNR are informed that Oscar has gone missing. Well... shit.
Review
Of the episodes so far, it's safe to say that this may be the weakest. But only in terms of it being an exposition/build-up episode instead of an action episode or something along those lines. I can't call it bad though as a lot of good came out of this episode. The first half was pretty dang funny. Caroline is terrible, but her boastful personality makes her entertaining to watch at the very least. Maria was comedy gold here with her rant about the cashews and the 'Maybe she's dead!” line. Again, funniest moment in the episode. It's nice that we got to have a couple of laughs before the heavy stuff came back in because... haha, IDT we're going to be having many more light-heated moments in these last five episodes. Call it a hunch.
As I said, while I would like for the group to have some cold hard logic hit them already, Team JNR's reactions are completely understandable. Jaune especially. Really, he's got the most reason out of everyone aside form maybe Qrow to be angry. Remember, Pyrrha got killed because of this and even she wasn't aware of all the details when the whole Fall Maiden thing happened. We can argue about the circumstances all that we want, Pyrrha still died trying to do what was right, and ever since everything that Jaune has done has been to not let her death be in vain. So finding out that all of that was for nothing? I can't blame him for being angry or how he reacted. Am I defending him? Hell no. Oscar did NOTHING wrong. The way that Jaune manhandled him was horrifying and seeing this young kid clearly terrified was just wrong. But it still makes sense hwy Jaune reacted that way all things considered, and to his credit he DID realize what he was doing and stopped. And we find out that Oscar is gone, it is very clear that Jaune feels remorseful for taking his anger out on Oscar and of what could happen to him now. Out of everyone so far aside from Oscar, I sympathize with Jaune the most.
Who I have lost my sympathy for however is Qrow. He is just...a  mess. Brunswick was bad enough, but now? Look, I know how hard it is to let go of addiction, especially considering how bad of a mental state that Qrow is in. But after how his drinking caused him to be so out of it that he failed to realize that the kids that he's responsible for to get killed, it's becoming more and more difficult to feel bad for him. He SAW what his carelessness could have led to, and even now he hasn't learned. Because of it, Ruby has to be the adult trying to keep everyone going despite all the circumstances, and she has to try and find him on top of everything else. It's at the point where this can't go unaddressed anymore. Ruby or someone needs to give Qrow an intervention and outright tell him to stop. I imagine that it'll get ugly, but if something isn't done soon, then most likely Qrow is going to get either himself or someone else killed. It's time for him to stop the self-loathing.
Okay, lets try to talk about something more positive, like the Silver Eyes! First, I need to say this again. Maria has been a delight as a character and has just fit right in with the cast. Funny, sassy, practical, she's been a great addition and is the kind of character that Ruby needs to mentor her. I loved hearing some details about her past, like her relationship with her father and how she became a Huntress. It's exposition, sure, but it's used to show Maria's experience and wisdom. We learn more about a character that so far the fandom really loves, and it serves a purpose. We also see her intelligence as she pieced together about the source of the Silver Eyes powers just form Jinn's vision. She is very much what Ruby needs. She's an optimistic character, but also firm and wise. She can push Ruby in the right direction without being too harsh or too nice. Hopefully she sticks around after this season because she's such a welcome addition.
As for Ruby, she continues to be a bright spot in the season. She's trying so hard, but the weight is really beginning to get to her. She had to stop Jaune from physically hurting someone, is being ignored by Qrow and his unreliableness is clearly upsetting her, and she feels like she's letting everyone down due to how hopeless everything seems. She is meant to be an inspiring, hopeful figure and she is trying her damnest to be this way. After the initial plan went up in smoke, her first response is to comfort Weiss and again assure her that they won't leave her side. She's stepped up as a leader, but she's till a 16, maybe 17 if Lindsay can be believed, year old girl in a very difficult situation and with Qrow intoxicated and Oz gone, she has to be the adult. She has to look after everyone and keep them on track. She has to try and encourage them and not give up, and so far that doesn't seem to be working. This girl has so much pressure on her because everyone else has given up, and it's starting to weigh on her. Will this be the season where she breaks down? It's hard to say, but I do think that before the volume is over, we're going to see some kind of reaction out of her.
On the upside however, after so long, Ruby is finally learning about the Silver Eyes. She's asking questions. She's excited to learn to use this power. She actively WANTS to learn about it. This is what I have been hoping for ever since the end of V3. This is the moment where we are seeing Ruby beginning to go from a rookie fresh out of Beacon long before she was ready, to taking the steps to becoming the Huntress that she has always wanted to be. In light of everything and even with her doubts, Ruby has stepped up as a leader, has yet to give up despite how hopeless it looks, and is still determined to do what's right. Now she has a mentor to teach her to use her gift, something unique to her, and hopefully that can help ignite the will to continue on. Ruby's goal has always been to be a Huntress to help people, and overtime that has gone form naive ambition to seeing how dark the world can be, and wanting to do whatever is possible to do good because it's the right thing to do. Ozpin was right about what he said in V5, she truly is an inspiring figure, and this is why. Even in face of the hopelessness and everyone around her giving up, she hasn't. Will she? It's hard to say, but there is no doubt that no matter what tries to keep Ruby down, she'll face it and she will somehow pull everyone up with her. This volume, more than any other, has made that clear and I love it.
What helps that entire scene, of course, is both the setting and the music. The garden is absolutely beautiful, having a very calming atmosphere, which after the blowup was very much needed. The butterflies also added to the beauty and calmness. Apparently blue butterflies can symbolize change, and butterflies in general can symbolize life. You see it in anime all the time. It's perfect symbolism here as Ruby seeks to change herself and become a Silver Eyed Warrior, so it's a very welcome touch. And the music... gosh the music is so beautiful and serene. Jeff and Alex once more killed it, especially with the new renditions of Red Like Roses and This Will be the Day. Very nostalgic and it added to this being about Ruby taking that next step forward. Very well done!
Then of course we have the ending. Oscar is missing. For the moment, we will assume that he has left of his own volition due to the manhandling and the questioning of his identity, which was already a problem for him. And... is anyone surprised? I mean Jaune shoving him alone would be enough reason to leave. But the way everyone keeps seeing him as Ozpin, directing the anger at him even if unintentionally, and how no one seemed to care about how he's felt about all of this. Only Ruby ever did, and Qrow made sure to kill that. Of course he would leave. No one trusts him and now even he's questioning who he is and what to do now that it looks like they will inevitably lose. Hopefully he will be found safe and sound and will come back. And hopefully everyone will apologize, or Jaune will at the very least. For now, all that we can do is worry about his safety until Saturday roles around.
Final Thoughts
This may not have been the heaviest chapter, but it was still enjoyable. The first half was entertaining and did a good job of setting up the next obstacle for our heroes. The second half was very much emotional and Jaune's reaction was pretty much what we were expected. The exposition was welcomed and added to the scene instead of dragging it down. And of course we're left on a cliffhanger that is mean, but not 'Weiss just got stabbed' levels of mean. Overall, while it may be the weakest episode of the volume so far, I still give it two thumbs up! Great work!

All of the numbers from 1 to 15 pls
Well then! I already answered 1 and 15, so here’s the other 13!
2. While writing angst, what three songs would you listen to to give it that ultimate angsty feel?
Oh, boy, this (and the next one) is a hard question to answer! My writing is extremely connected to the music I listen to, which means every fanfiction has a specific “soundtrack” that gave me a specific feeling/mood. But, if I really have to pick three…
Stay With Me, Sam Smith, cover by Post Modern Jukebox (specially when related to romantic stories).
Trisha’s Lullaby, FullMetal Alchemist Brotherhood Soundtrack.
Music Box 9/Good Bye Defect Mogeko, Mogeko Castle OST.
3. While writing fluff, what three songs would you listen to to give it that ultimate fluffy feel?
Can’t Sleep Love, Pentatonix.
Wooden Heart, Elvis Presley.
Eduardo e Mônica, Legião Urbana.
Somehow, they’re all love songs…
4. Are you a writes-too-much-description type of fanfic writer, or the writes-too-much-dialogue fanfic writer?
Too-Much-Description. I get paranoid with dialogue, never know when the characters are talking too much or too little.
5. What is your specialty as a fanfic writer?
I have no idea, but I would guess drama? I don’t know, what do you think? I mean, I pride myself on being quite good with characterization, if it’s that you’re talking about.
6. What was the best work (completed or not) that you’ve written so far, in your own opinion?
Right now? Well… Most people would probably think it’s 29% of Realities, but it’s actually the two Lance/Lotor fics I wrote for Laugst, Taste and Needed. Why? Well, they are heavily packed with meanings and feelings and I put so much thought on each paragraph (not that I don’t do that on my other fics, but those two were… a bit… of a delicate situation). I could go on and on, I could actually make a whole post analyzing the fics if you want. I love them.
(I’m also very proud of my Zelda fic, Kingdom of Mandacaru, even though no one read it and I put it in hiatus.)
7. What fandom is the best you associate with?
Voltron. Rigth now, at least. Because of Lance, mostly. And, hey, space. I can’t resist space.
8. If you were to write a crossover between any fandoms, what would they be and why? Give us a snippet of the two worlds colliding.
You can’t ask me that and expect me to be able to aswer promptly! Okay, let me think… Ib, my favorite game ever, with Voltron. I would love to see it. I would love to write it sometime.
Ib is a beautiful game that inspires me to this day. It’s a horror RPGMaker game and it’s brillant. I think it would be amazing to see team Voltron inside Ib’s universe.
Pidge didn’t rememeber what she was doing. All she could remember was Coran telling them to not touch anything. Obeying, she stood there, quietly staring at the painting of a sleeping boy with dark skin and brown hair. The plate just bellow it read “The Seventh Rose”.
“Pidge!” She heard Hunk call. “Let’s go!”
“Coming!” Pidge yelled back, giving the painting on last look before running after her team.
On the way she wondered why se felt like she knew the boy in the painting.
(Not gonna lie, also would love a Golion/Voltron crossover)
9. Of which of your works would you make into a movie? Why?
The Kingdom of Mandacaru! I expand the whole Zelda universe and fill a bunch of plot holes (or will once I go back to it) and I think it would either be a great movie or a great game!
10. Do you make outlines for your works, even your one shots?
More or less? Usually I plan things out only for longer than 5 chapters fics. Oneshots and shortfics, well, I usually have an idea of what I want and what I should do, but I never really do an outline. I just write.
11. Have you made playlists for any of your characters?
No, but I’ve made a playlists for whole fics.
12. What was the motivation behind 29% of Realities Series?
My pure and neverending love for:
Lance
Anyone who knows my blog knows that I love Lance more than a lot of things in this life. I relate to his character way too much and I thank God they made Lance everytime I think about him. So, of fucking course, I want everybody from his universe to feel the same.
Just so you know, not all the love Lance is gonna get in my works is romantic, some are platonic and familiar. Like, for example, Coran will forever love Lance as a son and so will Haggar/Honerva soon enough.
Angst
That goes without saying, yeah? Well, if there’s something I like is emotions, they’re all fascinating to me and I love analyzing, understanding and making my readers feel writing about them.
Just so you know, the most fascinationg emotions for me are: Fear, sadness, hope, happiness, hate and love. Expect them in any of my works.
Romantic fluff
I am a hopeless romantic, and you can take the fluff out of my cold dead hands. Even if I haven’t written much of it lately. Soon.
The Paralel/Multiple Universes theory
I love that theory, I believe in it, and everything I write will have something to do with it, even if it’s just in the first vague idea of a fic.
The Butterfly Effect Theory
Same as the above. Also, I live my life accordingly to this theory.
The Possibilities both theories bring.
I am all about possibilities, I could write all the possible variants of the same fucking story. Again and again and again and again. Chapter after chapter after chapter. It’ll happen, eventually.
13. On any fanfiction readable site, which story/one shot/mini-series was your absolute favorite?
Hard to choose, but I really like With Flying Colors.
14. Who are you ultimate favorite inspiration fanfic Tumblr writers?
Weeeeeeeeell….. @inthisformiambadwolf, they’re amazing and I love their stories, so if you’re into Doctor Who and reader inserts…

Exodus 10:1-12:13, Matthew 20:1-28, Psalms 25:1-15, Proverbs 6:6-11
Today is the 30th day of January, welcome to the Daily Audio Bible I am Brian it's great to be here with you today on the eve of the last day of the first month of the new decade 2020. It’s great to be here with you today to take that next step forward. And in the book of Exodus, which is what we have settled into there is a showdown happening between God the most-high, and…and the Pharaoh of Egypt. And the battle is over God's people who have been enslaved in Egypt. He wants them out and Pharaoh who thinks he's a God himself isn't having any of it, but he's learning some pretty hard lessons in the process. So, we’re reading from the Evangelical Heritage Version this week. Exodus chapter 10 verse 1 through 12 verse 13.
Commentary:
Okay. In the book of Matthew Jesus continues to talk and reveal the kingdom of God. His ministry is centered around this revelation and the interesting thing about the revelation is that it is a different kind of kingdom than anyone is expecting. They are expecting a kingdom that is rooted in the physical world that can be experienced by the senses, right? One in which a great battle and great destruction and lots of blood of the enemies is involved. And Jesus is indeed announcing the kingdom of heaven, but it's not that. It's a totally different thing than that. It's something that is happening now if we have eyes to see and ears to hear. And, so, Jesus gave us another piece of what that looks like today. And, so, He tells a story as He's prone to do as we've already explored. “Indeed, the kingdom of heaven is like a landowner who went out early in the morning to hire workers for his vineyard.” That's how Jesus began, and He tells a story of how He hired some workers in the morning and a then, you know, He hired some workers midday and after launch and in the afternoon and getting toward the end of the day with only one hour left to work He hired more workers and they all went into the field. And, so, when everybody lines up to get paid, He starts with the people who got in last and he gives them a denarius, a day's wage, the agreed-upon days wage from the people who started first. And, so, when He gets to the people that had worked all day, they’re obviously expecting maybe something a little more than what they had agreed to. But at the end of it He gives them what they agreed to, like everybody got the same, everybody got paid. Of course, this angered the ones who felt as if they deserved more. They had agreed to the terms and they were given exactly what they had agreed to but as they compared themselves to others, they got a sense of entitlement that made them feel as if they deserved more. And the response of the master says it all. “Are you envious because I am generous? In the same way the last will be first and the first last.” So, what can we glean here about God's kingdom from what Jesus is saying? We can say that those who believe that they are owed something or deserve something from God because they have earned somehow something from God will get what they deserved and get it last. Those who realize that they are unspeakably fortunate just to be here at all can appreciate the value of what they've been given. Everyone gets the same. Nobody's better. Nobody deserves more. Nobody deserves more spotlight. And why would this be? Because we’re one body with one head. Nobody can say to anybody else, “I don't need you.” That's not true. God's kingdom is not a kingdom of comparison and selfishness. And as we explore this kingdom that we are a part of and that is happening through the lips of Jesus we are being awakened. We are learning. We are becoming aware. But we can see that Jesus disciples were not completely aware either. After this Story takes place, Jesus is continuing his journey to Jerusalem and this isn’that t for a visit, this…this is…this is Jesus going to die. And, so, He pulls His disciples together on this walk and tells them that He's going to die, that He's going to be arrested and turned over to the Gentiles and killed and that He's gonna come back. And, I mean, just imagine that you had that kind of foreknowledge about your own life. Imagine you knew that…that you’re gona die in a couple of days and you’re trying to kind of comfort everybody and share things. And, so, you say what you’ve gotta say and then a couple of your kids come to you and say, “hey since you’re gonna die can I have your car?” I mean that would be like so out of place, so bizarre. And yet that’s essentially what happened to Jesus. He’s telling His friends, “I'm gonna die.” And He unpacks all of that and then they keep walking and two of Jesus disciples and their mom come home to talk to Jesus and the mom…it’s the mom, she's…she's doing the requesting. Promise that in your kingdom these two sons of mine may sit one on your right hand and one on your left-hand. So, I’m not pointing out that piece of the story to bring us to some kind of application to our lives or some ways to think about this, I'm just pointing out the disconnect. Here we have the son of the living most-high God on planet Earth operating in a kingdom that is being revealed and living a life after a human fashion but completely whole and He's unpacking all of these parables, He's teaching privately of the kingdom. And now they're on their way to His death and this is how disconnected it is, “promise that I get a throne next to your throne. And we can often find that that's…that's really the motives, that's really what we're after is what we want. Like, we’re…we’re in this whole faith thing to get blessed, like to get stuff but if Jesus hasn't…Jesus hasn't made it clear enough yet, God's kingdom isn’t a kingdom of stuff. And we can be just as oblivious as Zebedee's sons sometimes.
Prayer:
Father we thank You for Your word, we thank You for another day to be in Your word, we thank You for what Your word is revealing to us and we thank You that as we do this day by day over and over coming back day after day, changes are happening within us and we are so open to it, we welcome it. We invite You fully to lead us into all truth. Come, Holy Spirit we pray in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.

Community Prayer and Praise:
Hi, DABbers I’m calling in to ask for your prayers. At this point I don’t even know what to pray for anymore. The reasoning behind why I need prayers is so complicated. I’m so lost I don’t know what’s the right thing to do or what’s the way forward but essentially I pray that God will hear me and He will come to me and show Himself to me and point me in the right direction because that’s the thing I need the most right now. A guy who I was seeing for a while, we were in a relationship. We broke up about seven months ago…about seven or eight…about eight months ago right now at this point and at the time of our breakup I didn’t realize that I was not okay with it. I just accepted it and I thought that it would be for the best but seven months later…eight months later I still found myself unable to move on and I just don’t know what to do. Every waking day and moment of my life…it’s just so painful and everything is just a reminder of him and the relationship we had. And the reason why it’s all the more complicated is because he actually started dating somebody else about three months ago. So, I don’t know what to do. Please pray for me.
Good morning Daily Audio Bible family this is Praying for my Unsaved family and it is the 23rd of January. I just wanted to thank Brian for his __ on Joseph on the 21st of January. I found it so helpful when you were talking about taking the long view and what we’re wallowing in right now is temporary. It was so encouraging. Thank you, Brian. I really needed to hear that as I work through some family issues that have brought me very low in the last couple of years. So, thank you. I also want to say thank you to Denise who called into the community prayer line on 11th of January at about one hour 47 minutes and she was talking about praying for her unsaved father and never giving up. And it really struck me at the end of your message Denise that when you said the gates of hell cannot resist us. Thank you for your encouragement because again, I pray constantly for my father who is in his late 80s now and not in the best of health and someone who’s hated Christians and Christianity most of his life. So, please family join me in praying for my dad. His name is Ivor IVOR and I would be very grateful for your prayers. Thank you all for such a wonderful podcast and thank you for all your encouragements. Thank you.
Hi Daily Audio Bible family this is Harold in St. Louis and I am the one who is running the Chicago Marathon. Today is January the 21st. It is about 5:30 PM. I am in the middle of Tower Grove Park right now. I just ran 2 ½ miles roughly according to my Garmin watch. The temperature is 17° outside. I am a day off, so I was listening to the 20th’s podcast because Monday I went and ran with some friends of mine. And as I got to around the 40s…40-ish minute mark there was a lady who was just welcoming me to this family. The next message came from a lady named Karen who also just welcomed me to this family to…to be with you guys and she gave me the Scripture first Corinthians, I believe it was nine. I’ve got the podcast actually stopped right now so when I get back, I can go and write this down somewhere. But I just wanted to say thank you because I am out here right now, it’s dark, it’s cold putting these miles in and I’ve found myself while I’m doing this, I’ll hear different folks out there like Terry the Trucker who I’ll say a prayer for while he’s actually praying and I don’t know if God answers my prayer because I still haven’t given myself over or there’s a couple in Illinois, Kingdom Seeker I believe and his voice is wonderful it makes me happy when I hear a song from him. Or even for Anonymous when I just hear someone else prayer for her and I just say, you know, Amen or yes Lord while I’m running and I’m finding it that I am crying and even now and crying and I have goosebumps on my arms. But I’m happy. Thank you. Thank you everyone.
Yes, Daily Audio Bible this is Cara from and I’m from Spring Hill Tennessee and the Lord gave me the name Shara Shalom. So, when I call in that will be the name that I’ll be using. It means song of peace, which is interesting because I have struggled with anxiety most of my entire life. And I’m calling in response to Esther who called just today, left a message from Nashville Tennessee. And I wanted to encourage you Esther that one of the ways that I dealt with and that the Holy Spirit walked with me through the recovery of anxiety, which I’ll probably always deal with, but I have found victory over this anxiety through the Scripture Philippians 4:6, which you had quoted. So, I want to remind you of the entire Scripture. “Be anxious for nothing but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your request be made known to God and the peace of God which surpasses all comprehension shall guard your heart and your minds in Christ Jesus.” I found that the best therapy for me was immediately when I will open my eyes my mind was start racing, my heart was start racing, everything would start. I would have this feeling of dread and overwhelming anxiety and the Holy Spirit started prompting me to thank Him. The first thing in the morning, open your eyes and start thanking Him for…for being alive. Thank Him for your breath. Thank Him for a roof over your head. Thank Him for the simple, the basic things. And as you begin to thank Him for…for your life and for the just…for the simple little things in your life, that you have breakfast, that you have a car, that you have clean clothes, whatever it happens to be, the thanksgiving replaces the anxiety and it is an amazing…it’s an amazing thing to watch, an amazing therapy to watch. And I know it worked for me. I know that it is actually now considered a legitimate therapy but that’s how I walk through the incredible…
Hello Daily audible Bible community this is Terry and Kansas City. This is my fourth year listening to the Scripture being read. I’m learning so much. Thank you, Brian. But this is my first year to really come into the community with prayer…with listening to prayers and praying for others and for that I am thankful. I was reminded today that there are people in this community that their only church is with the DAB community because, as the lady in England said the churches are not close to her so we have become her church. For the gentleman who had the stroke three years ago and this is the way that he hears the word because he cannot read it and God gives him an understanding. That is a blessing. But my heart and prayers go out for Heather who called with a desperate urge and desire to have God’s presence back in her life after Satan has destroyed her family and her tiredness just broke my heart. I’ve been there with being tired. So, I pray that God will show himself mightily in your life and will restore to you the years that the locusts have eaten and that you will feel His mighty presence in your life and that you can be the mom that you were called to be. My prayers go out to all of the community and thank you for praying for all who need it.
Yes, my name is Dana Roger Smith I’m from Arab Alabama and I was just listening to day 23 or January 23rd, the prayer from Heather from Atlanta and it actually broke my heart. I don’t know what happened when Satan attacked you, I don’t know what exactly happened, but I want to tell you last year was a very rough year for me. And I was at the end and at breaking point contemplating suicide. And I lost a child six years ago September 2013. She was 11 days old and I have childhood trauma. So, I’ve never truly recovered. And last year was a very…a breaking point. You know, I realized that people cannot…you know…you try to rely and depend on people and you really can’t, but God puts people in our life sometimes that He works through them. Anyways, and so that was a lot for me. I am so sorry that you are going through this and you sound so desperate. I hope you get this message and know Heather that I am praying for you. You know, I come to Atlanta, you know, live in Alabama and it’s about maybe three hours, four hours from my house but I do come and I will definitely be praying for you an…and I wish there was a way we could get in contact that I could actually just talk to because, you know, you sound like you just really need someone. So, Heather in Atlanta I pray that God reveals Himself to you in such a way that is undeniable and that He sends His army of angels to lift you up and to fight this battle you’re going through. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
Hi DAB family this is Jenika. I am a bit more new to Brian’s devotions. My mom has been listening for years, but I have started on my own. It’s January 23rd and I heard this woman calling in about feeling lost and broken and abandoned and I want to know…to tell you that I understand that. Yours seems so much bigger than I feel but I want you to know that I love you, that I am praying for you, that God loves you and that these trials, even though they hurt, that I have been shown so much that this year that there is a reason for them. I love you so much and I thank you so much for sharing because it has encouraged me for the first time to share as well. And I want you to know that I’m praying for you and I love you. Thank you.

2 Kings 18:13-19:37, Acts 21:1-17, Psalm 149:1-9, Proverbs 18:8
Today is the 2nd day of July, welcome to the Daily Audio Bible I am Brian it is wonderful to be here with you today as we move into this 7th month of the year and get settled in for the next few weeks. That's all we have right, that's how long these months are so by the time we get settled into one month we’re moving into a new one. But right now, were getting settled into the 7th month of the year and we’re continuing our journey through the Book of 2 Kings we’re reading from the New International Version this week, 2nd Kings chapter 20 verse 1 through 22 verse 2.
Commentary:
Okay, it could be noted that as we move our way through 2nd Kings that we are only dealing with the kings of Judah at this point, and that is because there are no more kings of Israel. There is no more Israel. They were carried off by the Assyrians into exile and so we’re dealing with the kingdom that remains the kingdom of Judah and its kings and we can see that it's the same kind of back-and-forth at the same slow decline. So, we have this kind of reforming King Hezekiah who follows the ways of the Lord and for his lifetime, that's how the people go, but then his son Manasseh who reigns for 55 years right, so a long time, he does more evil than any of his predecessors have done. And then his son Josiah comes to the forefront and we’ll get to know Josiah a little bit better tomorrow, but we see that he follows in the way of his ancestor David fully so we assume he's a good king. It’s just back and forth, back and forth over the generations in a steady slow decline.
Then we turn to the Book of Acts and we’ve been traveling with Paul now for a while on his missionary journeys and we saw his decision to go back to Jerusalem and we saw that he was counseled pretty stringently everywhere he went not to go back to Jerusalem, even prophetic words, telling him of, you know, of captivity and hardship, but he already knew that as he says he already knew that the Spirit had told him that there was hardship and suffering in his future and captivity and so, no matter what he had to return to Jerusalem because he felt like God was telling him. So, everybody along way is telling him not to do this and he’s finally like, you're breaking my heart. You know, why all this crying you're breaking my heart; I have to go. Like, I'm willing to die there if I have to die in Jerusalem for Jesus’ sake then that’s how it goes, but I have to go there and so we watch that happen and now today he has arrived, and he is come to the brothers and sisters that are in the Jerusalem church and they have welcomed him but certainly they're concerned they're concerned about his well-being. There are many many many many people in Jerusalem that have been hearing about Paul from all over the Empire he’s kind of enemy. He was once a Pharisee a leading zealot. He was very very very much on the radar and then he found a relationship with Jesus Christ. Jesus introduced himself and nothing was ever the same again. And so, now he's like enemy number one. To a certain degree and we’ll watch that because yeah, we just kind of scratched the surface here Paul was seen in the temple, people who had seen Paul out on his missionary journeys recognized him and we have another mob. It’s like there’s a lot of mobs happening in the early church centered around Jesus. So, there's a mob in there trying to kill Paul, Paul’s rescued by the Roman soldiers, but they gotta pick him up and carry him, to get him away from the people that were trying to assault him. So, this right here, basically what we see today is Paul's arrest. It’s not his first time, he's been in trouble before for the gospel of Jesus Christ. But this particular arrest is different because pretty much Paul's not going to experience freedom again. Briefly and he’ll have a little bit of freedom but he'll always be watched. He's always on the radar. He's pretty much in custody for the rest of his life. I point that out here just to say watch, watch what happens. It's really ironic. Paul has been all over the Roman Empire on these missionary journeys. But the kind of people that he is going to be able to share the good news of the gospel with are people that he would have never had access to on any of those missionary journeys. Oddly, it’s his captivity that gives him access to really powerful and important people and he shares the gospel. So, let's watch this as we continue our journey through the Book of Acts.
Prayer:
And so, Father, we thank You for Your word. Thank You for bringing us this far giving us the chance to settle into this 7th month and look back and you see six months of this year and You have been faithful. So, we acknowledge that we worship You, we adore You, we give our hearts to You completely, nothing withheld, nothing off-limits. Come Holy Spirit and lead us forward as we continue our journey. We ask this in the name of Jesus. Amen.
Announcements:
dailyaudiobible.com that’s home base, that’s the websites that’s where you find out what's happening around here. It's where the Prayer Wall is that can be found in the Community section. The Daily Audio Bible Shop is there resources are available there for the journey that we are on and not…our journeys is taking us toward our Daily Audio Bible holiday this coming Wednesday the 7th of July we’ve talking about it for, I guess, a little over a week now. But yeah, the Long Walk is a day to go for a Long Walk with God and I’ve been explaining how nature plays a role and even how the resource Heart a Contemplative Journey can play a role in starting the conversation allowing us to deeply immerse ourselves in our own emotions and invite God into the things we’ve been feeling and moving through in the first 6 months of this year. So, that resource is available for the Long Walk and you can get at the iTunes shop or Google, wherever you can buy music, just look for Heart or look for my name Brian Hardin and you should find it. So, that's all coming up just after the weekend. Of course, here in the United States it's a major holiday weekend Independence Day for us, which is my wife's birthday as well and so that’s coming up over the weekend. So yeah, we’re just gonna transitioning through here into the center of the month, make plans on 7th of July to go for a Long Walk with God. We’ll put a post on the Daily Audio Bible Facebook page for the Long Walk and you can post in there, your pictures or little videos and it becomes a really beautiful mosaic. I love it. I love going on the Long Walk but I also love coming back and just looking through all the different pictures of all the different places in the world that happened today, all the little windows into each other's lives. It's a joy so make plans for that. That is coming up on this coming Wednesday, the 7th of July.
If you want to partner with the Daily Audio Bible, I can't thank you enough. We wouldn't be here if we were not a community in this together. So, I'm in awe and grateful that all these thousands of days we’ve been able to be here every single day without fail. And if that has mattered or matters in your life then thank you for your partnership. There is a link on the homepage at dailyaudiobible.com. If you’re using the app you can press the Give button in the upper right hand corner or the mailing address is P.O. Box 1996 Springhill, Tennessee 37174.

And that's it for today I'm Brian, I love you and I’ll be waiting for you here tomorrow.
Prayers and Encouragements:
Hey siblings, it’s your little sis, His Little Sharie in Canada. Just wanting to share something that really impacted me on Sunday. I took my walker to church for the first time and it was weird and awkward for me and for everybody. I think everybody seemed to be very, I don’t even know how to describe it, but they know I have an MS diagnosis they’ve been praying for healing for me and to see me walking with a walker, I think, just made everyone sad and no one really said anything to me, no one…they tried to, I don't know, I just, I just felt like no one knew what to say or do and so they didn’t say or do anything except for our pastor. She didn’t really say much she just looked at me with this look you know that real authentic compassionate look and she gave me a hug and it was one of those long awkward I’m letting go of you hugs and I don’t know. The thing was she didn't say anything. But and she didn't know what to say like everybody else. But she saw me and she hugged me and it just felt so, humbling in that moment, but also nourishing and so it just taught me a lesson that when you don't know what to say when you don't know what to do on don't just walk away, don’t just default to not saying anything. Maybe just see the person and let them know that you see them and that you love them maybe just give them a hug.
Good morning Daily Audio Bible this is Amanda again in the Boston area. I’ve been an avid listener daily now for just over two weeks and this simple practice of doing this every day has completely transformed me and my family already and it’s just been such a blessing so I'll start off by saying thank you DAB family. I wanted to just briefly touch on the prayer that we heard from RJ today who was calling in response to Lonnie's prayer from a couple days ago about her son who is wayward and addicted to alcohol and all that and how RJ called in to pray for her and to remind her and the things that he said were exactly what I needed to hear, faint not. My sister, that I love dearly, her name is Dana is also an addict and whether she’s a wayward soul or a soul that needs to come face-to-face with Jesus for the first time I am unsure but I know her addiction is in the way so RJ’s words were so comforting, uplifting and the reminder and his testimony on his life has given me so much hope today. That I will see my sister addiction free, bondage free and in the arms of Jesus one day. So, please, oh, I praise Jesus for the news that RJ’s life was changed and I ask that you join me in prayer for praying for my sister Dana that her addiction will be no more and her life will be turned around as she surrenders to Jesus. Thank you all, love you.
Hello my dear DAB family this is Maria a missionary in Mexico. I have been a little bit absent because we are visiting the states for the summer. We’ll head back down in August but it’s been a little hard to keep up with everything. I wanted to give you an update and thank you all for praying for our coworkers they were in training to become missionaries down in Mexico. They had passion for the indigenous people down there and are going to begin working with them. She got COVID and she was 6 months pregnant and she and her baby died family so please pay for her husband. Renzo I want to say that brother your prayers encourage me. I want to give a shout out to you and just thank you for calling in. Thank you for your passion for Jesus and your love for people and to please keep doing that. Fred from Iowa, your prayer request aired on that community prayer quite a few months ago. I want you to know that you’ve been in my prayers ever since. Let’s pray family. Heavenly Father, Lord of the harvest send forth more laborers into this great harvest we pray as You’ve commanded us to do Lord. There’s so much need. I pray especially for this man who lost his wife, I can’t even imagine and also his firstborn child, it's just too difficult to even comprehend. I pray you would comfort him, the whole mission community, the church families, her family, his family, everyone involved Lord, it’s just, it’s so sad Father and it will be for so long. Give them special grace during this time of morning. Thank You for Renzo my brother, thank You that his first love for you is strong I pray it would continue to be and his love for people would continue to shine forth and draw more to Yourself Lord. I pray for Fred that You would give him strength to do the right thing even when it's hard. Thank you for my brother, encourage his heart today. In Jesus name. Amen.
Hey there. So, I just listened to Brian teaching on Paul’s leaving Ephesus and asking Him if there is anything people had against him. And it just kind of reminded me that as Christians we’re called to love but we always screw up. We always have beef with other believers; hatred and unforgiveness, non-communication. I know I’m hurtful to other people, I’ve been hurt by other, other believers and I’ve hurt others. And I have unforgiveness and they do as well. So, even though we are called to love one another and we’re made different in Christ we still have that sin and that horrible hatred, the unforgiveness and the blame others and the victim mentality nature. Instead of just fessing up to our responsibility and confessing our sins. The older I get actually, the more I’m seeing the way of the world is just to lie and to leave things out and to not confront issues but to kind of work around, make things politically correct but unresolved, unloving. So, it was just something that I observed and see in myself. I loathe it in myself and others, but it’s there and I don’t think it's going to go away. Just this sin cloud that keeps on consuming. Guess it won’t go away until we die. So, I guess pray for that. I’m Mike in New York. Pray for me, pray for my relationships and pray for yourselves. Alright, love you, bye.
Hello DAB family, I hope you're all doing well it’s Sarah from London. Hopefully I can say this all in two minutes. But it’s been a while and I just wanted to check in and say a massive hello to you all. I have been praying for you when I hear your requests but I just wanna give God all the glory. I really wanna give him all the glory all the praise cause He deserves everything. In January I sent a request for prayers to have a closer relationship with God and thank you for those that prayed for me and thank you for those that called in to encourage me as well. For so long I had allowed distractions to get in the way and I remember in particular a gentleman by the name of Darrell from Atlanta thank you so much and I hope you hear this you called in to give some encouragement and some advice and that really helped me you mentioned something on the lines of reading and praying, even when you don’t feel like it. I listened to that over and over and over again. And wow, it’s the 30th of June today and I have been reading the Bible non-stop. I never knew the Bible could be so transforming and today my relationship with God has done a 360. And I can’t do without it now, I can’t do without that relationship, I need it so much and I feel so much more peace in my life since January. I have given 100% of my time and God is actually revealing so much to me in many many ways. I don’t have the time to say it all today. But I'm just so amazed. I just want to encourage those that may feel that they don’t hear from God let me tell you, let me tell you He speaks in so many ways. You have to spend the time He will show you so much. Thank you so much the Hardin family for all you do. I love you all, God Bless you all.

Joshua 9:3-10:43, Luke 16:19-17:10, Psalms 83:1-18, Proverbs 13:4
Today is the 14th day of April. Welcome to the Daily Audio Bible. I am Brian. It is a pleasure to be here with you today as we prepare to close down and release another week. And it's a pleasure to come to you from the mountains of north Georgia where the More Gathering is taking place as we speak. And it’s the weirdest things because we’ve been here a day and ½, right? But it feels like a week has gone by. It's just…a lot gets packed into these days. So, we’re getting ready for another full day today. But before we can do anything as a community we need take this next step forward as we continue to move through the Scriptures this year. And that will, of course, take us back into the book of Joshua where we be camping out for a while. And Israel has gone into the Promised Land. So, we are in the Promised Land and a couple of bottles have been fought and won, but it certainly got the attention of everybody around. And, so, now we have we have a lot of kings in a lot of the territory banding together as allies to push out these people who have invaded her land. And that's where we find ourselves today. We’re reading from the Good News translation this week, which, of course, ends today. Joshua chapter 9 verse 3 through 10 verse 43 today.
Prayer:
We thank You Father for Your word. We thank You for another week that we've been able to spend together in community journeying through the Scriptures. And we thank You for all that You have spoken to us this week. And we look with anticipation to all that is yet to come before us as we continue to make this journey this year through the entirety of the Scriptures. We thank You for this gift that draws us together and aims us in a common direction and that pulls us toward You. And Father, even as we’re here at the More Gathering, we thank You for all that You are doing in and among us on top of this mountain. And we thank You for what You will speak today. And we thank You for all that is in store. And we ask for Your Holy Spirit's presence hovering over all of it. Thank You God, for Your kindness and in for Your never-ending patience and willingness to be involved in our lives. It blows our minds because it is beyond our comprehension. And yet Your love is true and personal and inviting. And we accept the invitation to collaborate in this world in Your work as we reflect Your glory upon the earth. Come, Holy Spirit, and make that true for each one of us. We pray in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Of course, the More Gathering is going on and you know, like I said at the beginning it feels like we’ve been here a week, but we’ve got today. And this is our last full day and then we've got a 1/2 a day tomorrow. And just like that, it comes and goes but a lot is deposited into our lives at these events. So, as a community we continue to hold a canopy of prayer up over all of it as we’ve been doing. You have no idea. If you're here on this mountaintop, you know. You can feel the presence of this community around the whole thing. If you’re not here I am just telling you, your prayers are felt. This is not a joke. This is not just cute little thing. It's not a metaphor. It's real. We feel your prayers and it matters. So, thank you for continuing to pray over all that is happening here on the mountain. And we’re very grateful.

Community Prayer and Praise:
Hey Daily Audio Bible family. This is Kristi in New York. I just listened to the calls at the end of the April 4th broadcast. And Sophie from Oregon you just, you know, tugged at my heart. And I feel for you. And, so, I’m going to leave some prayer with our Daily Audio Bible family. So, pray with me for our sister Sophie. Heavenly Father, we lift up to You our tired and weary sister, Sophie. And she says that she’s broken Lord. She feels broken. And in those places that she feels broken Lord we ask for You to fill in the cracks, to glue her back together, to find her missing pieces, and to sew them back on, and to make her into Your masterpiece, imperfect, beautiful, wonderful masterpiece. We ask for You to make Yourself known to her so that she can feel Your presence and hear Your voice and know that it’s You, know that You care, and know that You are doing something about her situation, that You gave her this life, You gave her her situation and her rest and You didn’t just leave her there. You don’t leave any of us there. You support us through it and You guarantee us that there will be hard times, but You also tell us that there will be wonderful times. There will be a year of Jubilee and there will be a dry year. And we just have to look to You. It doesn’t make it easy and happy, but it makes us stronger. And, so, in that time we need to fill in the gap for our sister Lord. Amen. Kristi in New York. Bye.
Good morning all you Daily Audio Bible community. It is quarter to 6 in the morning on Monday, April the, oh, I think it’s the 9th ? I was listening, I’m trying to catch up, so I was listening to April 5th and, oh, Brian read the Deuteronomy 28 with the curses and the blessings and then Luke, when Jesus said, if your eye is clean then everything is clean. So, what do you see? What do you see? And, so, I am so grateful and thankful for, that I went back and caught April the 5th. And I’m so happy that I can put a little checkmark when I read it. And I saw that I hadn’t read April 5th, so I did. So, I say shalom, shalom. Nothing is missing and nothing is broken. And Lord I am going to see clean and clear. I’m going to see as You see, think his You think, speak as you speak - blessings only and not cursing. I’m praying again for the lady that has a daughter on drugs and bipolar for what good advice was given to her, to watch her mouth. And I’m going to watch my mouth too. Oh, that we would learn to speak only good and…
Hey what’s up everybody it’s Miguel from Santa Rosa. I just wanted to call and tell you a little about this last week and the word that the Lord showed me. Just a little bit of context. I run my life in a Sprint. I have my 40 hour a week job. On top of that, I have everything that we do as a church, where we have midweek prayer one evening, we’ve got midweek men’s group that I go to, that’s another evening, I am in a mentoring relationship with a college student, I am preparing worship sets for church. On top of that, my home life, I’ve got my wife and three kids, age 4…almost 4…and twin two-year-old’s. I live life as a sprint. On the eve of Easter my wife and I had a sit down and just talked about just how burned out we were. Just missing a lot of marks with each other lately. And we had a good talk. And we said, you know, we’re going to have a booster week, is what I’m going it, where we just take a break from everything and just focus on the family. And that’s what we did. So, we said no to everything extracurricular. I took a vacation day. And it was really good. In the midst of this, I heard the word from the Lord in the later part of Luke 10. Mary and Martha, where Mary was at the feet of Jesus and Martha was so stressed out and anxious. And I saw that. And I saw the word that Jesus gave her, just, I see your anxiety, I see your worry. I just invite you to be at my feet. I invite you to be in my presence. That was such a good word that Brian had in the commentary and it really spoke to me. It continues to speak with me today. All that being said, I ended up coming to Sunday. It was a good Sunday at church. I got the sit at the feet of Jesus even though I did have to play on our worship set last-minute. That’s a whole another story. But praise God that He is the one that invites us into His presence to see what He has for us. Amen.
My name is Eileen. Me and my mom listen to the Daily Audio Bible. Me and my baby brother have issues about reading, walking, and talking. I’d like to ask for all y’all prayers. Thank you.
Hi. This is Melody from Canada and I just heard Shiloh’s husband from Ontario Canada. Sorry I can’t remember your name, call in for his wife. And I want to pray for you. Father, I pray for Shiloh and her husband. God, I pray that Shiloh will see Your glory, that the scales will fall from her eyes and that You will bring her into your kingdom, that Your will will be done in her life and that You will give her husband peace and that You will help him to draw a really close to you in this time. God, thank You for bringing light into his darkness. Amen. I also want to ask for prayer. My husband __ are planning on going to __ in New York in about two weeks. And I still have a bit of pregnancy nausea and I’m just hoping that it won’t interfere with our trip and we’ll be able to have a good holiday. I was in the hospital again for the last two days getting IV treatments. So, it’s still kind of up and down. I’m feeling really good now. But we’re really just hoping for good holiday and we’ll bless my relatives there who don’t know Christ and some of our friends. So, thank you for your prayers for that. Bye.
