okay i've played for about 30 hours now (in 2 and a half days, please don't do the math) and here are my thoughts so far:

- rook is such a champ with jumping and climbing but will drown instantly and violently. 10/10

- the combat is great. really suits my playing style of mashing buttons in blind panic and hoping for the best.

- THE PAIN WHEN YOUR LOVE INTEREST DOESN'T WANT TO TALK TO YOU??? we're so back this is what dragon age truly is about

- rook isn't (yet) traumatized enough for my taste. i had to fabricate more drama for them with the "save one city" decision and sacrifice the one more dear to them

- i feel like bioware learned all the wrong lessons from inquisition. they didn't do it well, but at least they tried to make all factions you deal with flawed and morally grey before. the people you work with in veilguard (at least so far) can do no wrong

- i feel like we're getting a lot of companion cutscenes. very good.

- i'm not the biggest crossroads fan?? i get why it exists but i personally would've preferred just the lighthouse + locations. but i understand why it is there.

- also it's funny we finally have an in-universe explanation for traveling everywhere so quickly

- i'm playing as a rogue now but i know already my next playthrough will be as a mourn watch mage and i can't wait

- LOVE the grand necropolis!!! coolest location. also treviso is so pretty chefs kiss

Hello! Thank you for your interest in my blog. This is a roleplay blog! Specifically one for Feferi Peixes from the Homestuck universe. The majority of the posts published on this blog will be written in character (ic).

Out of character (ooc) posts will be written with double open parenthesis at the start of a post, such as “(( hi hello this is meowzzi speaking“. It will also be tagged with #ooc to further indicate that the post is written out of character. I will keep ooc posts to a minimum and will most likely delete them unless they serve a purpose.

I am chronically ill with multiple autoimmune diseases. This means that I very easily get fatigued and probably will be inconsistent with my replies. Some days I can get many done, others just a couple and sometimes none at all. It really depends on the status of my illnesses and if it gets to a point where I am struggling with managing my rp blog(s), I will make a post about it to let you know about that.

Before I follow a roleplay blog, I always read the rules.

Non Homestuck roleplay blogs may follow and interact with this character! I am open to having my character appear in someone else’s franchise’s universe, and vice versa.

Original characters, such as fankids/fantrolls and other, may follow and interact with this character. I would appreciate if there are pages/posts containing any information about your character.

English is my second language, so I sometimes make grammar mistakes or my sentences’ structures are weird, and I might use words/idioms wrong. I may also be slow to reply because of this, plus replies might come in at “odd” hours. I live in a UTC+1 country.

I will attempt to write “greeters” for every new follower. These will be online unless discussed otherwise. I am not opposed to having our characters first interaction take place face to face.

Any ship is welcomed here! The only requirement is that there has to be chemistry between our characters. It is also important to note that I will not force my ship onto your character.

Unrequited love/friendship is welcomed to be played out here as well! Your character may flirt with my muse, even if it isn’t meant to lead to anything. My character might flirt with yours and it is a-okay for yours to deny any flirtations from my character.

Regarding Smut/NSFW

I am 31 years old and comfortable with playing out most #NSFW scenes.

Smut will be played out on a sideblog. Smut refers to roleplays where you write out sex scenes between characters. I will not write smut with anyone under the age of 21. Writers under the age of 21 but over 18 may read smut written by me and send in any NSFW ask memes for my character to answer. I will not tolerate anyone under the age of 18 following my blogs. If there’s no information regarding your age on your blog, I will soft block you. People who state that they are under 18 years old will be permanently blocked.

I have some good news: all my posts are un-flagged now, you can view, like and reblog all my works again. Thank you so much for your support!

Now for the bad stuff... I'm unsure about what to do with this blog. I don't really draw anymore. I don't have much free time (work hours are increasing) and drawing is no longer fun. On top of everything, the “Tumblr purge” made me want to draw and share my art even less. So even if I post new art, it may not be on Tumblr. Since I no longer have new content to post, I might end up turning this into a fandom blog where I just ramble and reblog things I like. Fanart, gifs, theories, etc. It probably won't be a lot and the kitten gifs and other random stuff will stay on my sideblog. I guess that's the best thing I can do if I don’t want to abandon this place.

You can call me shattered and I'm sort of new to the whole markiplier skit story stuff fandom (who killed markiplier, a date with markiplier and a heist with markiplier, I really need to learn the name for this eventually) I was in it ages ago but I didn't have tumblr then so my hyperfixation was limited to just youtube animatics and theory videos but I am here now and I am very much into this series again and very excited about all the new fan content! So it’s been a while and I guess it might be a surprise to see me around, hopefully a good one. I haven’t been able to stay in touch as much as I would have like to, a big part because the time since I closed the blog have been stressful.

As it is, the good new is that I might open it again? However, I wouldn’t pick up any old threads, it would be more like a reboot. I’m likely to save pages to a sideblog (basically save the theme and pages). But yes I find myself willing to try again interacting within Inquisition/DA.

Here’s the things to know: first off, that’s not yet a thing that happens now. Might be in a few days or in a week or two. I would also not have my main focus here, but it’s likely it would be my second active blog (I have only one right now, while three others are basically just, semi active). Most important would be that while it will be still Mika, it would be the grown up version of the Ark’s Child verse.

Meaning, it wouldn’t be “Mika Lavellan” but just, lone elf Mikaela who’s keeping even more secrets. Unless he’s unapologetically uncaring what people think of who he is. Anyway, he would have grown in another world (raised by the Noah clan of DGM, if a canon au). His real goal would honestly be to just, close the Rift and go back home (because the Rift preventing that). Of course, things would feel harder if he gets attached.

Sooooo yes, I might come back soon, with an even more canon au Mika to offer. I’m likely to reach out again to a few people I’ve known, slowly get my bearings again, once the blog is indeed open again. I don’t think I’ll change mind, so it is a solid news that I’ll open this blog again. I’ll just be slow about it.

I've followed your stuff for a long time and you've inspired me to start showing my own stuff here on Tumblr. How do you manage all of your accounts, though? A recent dilemma of mine has been whether to stay active on some old forums and stuff I used to post my art on. It's difficult for me to be both professional and personal, you know? It’s difficult for me to balance everything, I admit. I have more blogs than I care to advertise because they’ve gone inactive. The long and the short of it though is that I prioritise the platforms I want to remain active on, for specific purposes.

1. I’m very active on a handful of forums. However, these forums are rarely a visually creative outlet for me (unless I’m posting on a specific forum for critique) and are focused more on programming or roleplaying.

2. As far as social media goes, my primary focus is tumblr, for both professional and personal purposes. xkit, and more recently, new xkit, have been invaluable for me being able to maintain a presence on both my personal and professional as they have a ‘quick reblog’ widget that enables you to select the blog to post to directly from the reblog button on a post. Other social media or portfolio sites wind up getting a cross post from what I post on tumblr. However, non-tumblr sites only receive a thumbnail of the finished version, with a link back to my tumblr. This is great for SEO rankings and to drive traffic to my primary mode of interaction. The only exception is deviantArt, which does get the full finished piece with a link back to tumblr. My dA presence, however, is incredibly limited as a majority of my followers there have also migrated to tumblr.

3. Being professional and personal is a matter of tone, I feel. My friends here all know that if they commission me, while we’re still friends, my priority is to treat them like a client. I don’t care how long we’ve known each other, all my friends are subject to invoices, contracts when necessary, and the like; I also refuse to handle any business over IM (as only a handful of people know how to reach me that way), to help create that professional / personal split. I encourage you to get an earlier grasp of separating personal and professional too -- I never expected for my kamidoodles blog to gain so many followers, and I didn’t split my personal posts to a sideblog until about two years ago or so. Honestly, it’s kind of a grab bag. On the one hand, interacting so personally helped me get my reputation and such. On the other, old posts still haunt me and wind up causing drama that I don’t want associated with my professional content. So you know, double edged sword.
