For the longest time in what seemed forever there was no new threats, no fallouts or arguments. Beacon Hills was as normal as any other town. This caused the pack to do mundane things such as meet up at the mall or have movie nights. You guys actually felt like regular teenagers.
It was the third Friday in and it was the first time that everyone was there. Scott, Stiles, Lydia, Malia, Kira, Liam, Hayden, Mason even Isaac made an appearance. Also, it was the first time that Theo showed up.
Before he was revealed to be ‘evil’ you had grown a strong crush on him, one could even say that you were in love with him. It almost killed you when you found out about him because you were so close. You had grown apart and you hadn’t held a decent conversation since.
You called bullshit the minute he reappeared, you were on the same page as Malia but what frustrated you even more about him was that he was the hottest guy you had ever seen. It didn’t help your case at all and you knew it was wrong but you couldn’t help it. It annoyed the fuck out of you so you distracted yourself by covering up the fact that you liked him with snide remarks.
You were all sat in Lydia’s front room, all engaging in different conversations. Stiles was bickering with Isaac as usual, whilst Malia laughed at the two. Scott was chatting with Liam and Mason, and Kira was busy on her phone. You were sat in between Lydia and Hayden, Theo was directly in front of you, you could feel his eyes on you and it made you squirm.
“Do you mind Theo? I could maybe concentrate more if you weren’t staring at me.” You said eventually, you had to make the situation like it always was - Theo thinking that you hate him.
You sort of did, he was smug, arrogant and God you just wanted to punch his face. Theo smirked slightly and shook his head.
“How would you know if I was staring at you if you weren’t looking at me?” You clenched your jaw and ignored him. Lydia spluttered behind you and you gave her a death glare.
“I’m literally going to lock you two in a room if you don’t sort yourselves out.” Lydia sassed.
“I would rather be in a room with Deucalion.” You scoffed.
“The tension between you two is sickening. You guys either need to fuck it out or hit each other.” If Lydia was a werewolf she would have heard your heart pound.
“I have no idea what you’re on about.” You played off.
“You’ll see.” Lydia winked knowingly. You screwed your eyes in suspicion. You had known Lydia all your life, her match maker tendencies often got the better of her.
“Lyds no.” You warned, she shrugged her shoulders and cleared her throat.
“Everyone listen, we’re gonna play a game. 7 minutes in heaven.” She immediately turned to look at you and you growled involuntarily. They all nodded and moved to sit on the floor. Lydia grabbed an empty beer bottle and placed it in the middle.
“Y/N do the honours.” She chirped. You flared your nostrils and span the bottle. You watched it spin and you willed for it not to be you. You sighed in relief when it landed on Stiles and then you let out a giggle when the other landed on Isaac.
Stiles and Isaac looked at each other in unison and both their faces went pale. Everyone erupted into laughter at how ironic the situation was.
“Come on Wolfie, let’s get it over with.” Stiles grumbled.
“If you go too far I’ll file a restraining order against you.” Isaac warned. Stiles flipped him off and followed Isaac into the small room.
Exactly seven minutes later, they came out the room looking hot and flustered, making you all laugh even more.
Two more rounds were played where it involved Kira and Malia which they seemed to enjoy, and Liam and Hayden which was boring because they were already dating.
“Okay snack break and then we’ll do one more last round.” Lydia announced.
Everyone scattered to get food or go to the toilet. You were hungry and if you were going to be doing any funny business you needed to do it on full stomach.
You’d be lying if you said that your stomach didn’t lurch each time the bottle span, dreading that it was going to land on you and Theo. You couldn’t decide whether you were glad or pissed.
“Aw what’s wrong babe? Mad that you haven’t had me yet?” Theo said, snapping you out of your daze.
It took a while for you to register what he had said because you were so lost in your thoughts about what you did or didn’t want to do to Theo Raeken. He was leaning on the kitchen door, his arms folded which only maximised his biceps and a smirk plastered on his face.
“Are you ever not smirking?” You eventually said, turning away from him and heading to the kitchen counter.
“Come on Y/N, you know me, this is my permanent face.” He answered smugly. You roll your eyes and return your attention back to finding some food.
“For your information Theo, I am not mad, I’m just hungry.” You decided to tell him even though you had no idea why you did.
“You’re a bad liar you know.” He said, suddenly close behind you making you jump a bit. You turned around and laughed, running a hand through your hair.
“Yeah well maybe you’re just a shit werewolf, maybe you’re not as good as you think you are.” You cocked an eyebrow, his face hardened and he stepped closer to you.
By now you could hear Lydia calling everyone back and you couldn’t even move. Theo’s gaze had you locked in place.
“Don’t push me Y/N.” He said through clenched teeth.
“Or what? You gonna wolf out? Can’t control yourself around me huh?” You teased.
“I wonder if you’re as loud in bed as you are everywhere else.” He growled.
You squealed and your body grew hot. You were lost for words and Theo knew this, he exhaled through his nostrils and smirked. He looked you up and down and left you standing there helplessly, going through what he said over and over again in your head.
“Shit.” You said to yourself. You left it a few seconds before leaving the kitchen, Lydia noticed how you and Theo practically left together and she grinned.
“Okay final round.” She said. You were still in a complete other world from what Theo had said to you, his eyes when he said it were full of an expression you had never seen before from him and it made you feel dizzy.
You vaguely heard the bottle spinning and rowdy noises when it stopped. You half-heartedly looked up and you felt sick to your stomach when you realised it was Theo.
You knew what was coming and you were pretty sure Lydia had planned it and soon enough the second spin landed on you. You sighed and clenched your fists. Without even looking you knew that Theo was smirking.
Lydia clapped her hands in excitement and nudged you to move. You finally glanced at Theo and he was biting his lip, sending you in a frenzy.
“I-I can’t do this.” You blurted, shakily standing up.
“Yes you can now go.” Lydia muttered quietly so no one could hear her. Of course, Theo did and he piped up.
“Don’t think you can handle me Y/N?” He grinned wickedly.
“I don’t think I can stay in a room with him without wanting to kick the shit out of him.” You growled. Theo pouted and Malia scoffed.
“Do it for the pack Y/N, go on!” Lydia commanded. You laughed at her and reluctantly walked towards the closet but not before saying.
“Just know when the seven minutes are up, I’m outta here.” Theo chuckled behind you sending shivers up your spine but you ignored it and opened the door.
The room wasn’t as small as you thought it would be, it fit you and Theo comfortably however it was small enough for you to smell his cologne.
“Bet you didn’t expect this.” Theo mumbled. You lent against the wall and lulled your head back.
“No, I didn’t.” You sighed, closing your eyes. Even though it was dark, you didn’t want to even look at Theo, otherwise your body would make up its mind for you.
“Are we gonna get this over with?” Theo said huskily, you gulped because he sounded like he had just woken up and that was your weakness.
“We don’t have to if we don’t want to.” You replied. Theo sighed and shuffled on the spot.
“You are literally so infuriating Y/N, are you really not going to do this cos’ you hate me that much?” He responded. You snapped open your eyes.
“Yes, that’s exactly what I’m going to do Theo. I’m not going to give you the satisfaction of ‘being with me’ just so you can run and tell all your followers about us.” You declared.
“I’m flattered but that’s not the reason Y/N, don’t forgot I know you and you couldn’t give a shit about what people think of you.” Theo insisted.
“You’re wrong.”
“I’m never wrong.” He replied quickly. “I think you know that once we do this, there’s no going back. You won’t be able to pretend you don’t like me anymore because I will be all you can think about.“
You scoffed and shook your head. "That’s not the reason Theo." He was getting dangerously close to the truth and you were starting to panic.
"You won’t be able lie to yourself anymore Y/N.” Theo growled. “You won’t have to loathe the darkest parts of yourself that like me despite all that I’ve done.”
Now you were having a full on anxiety attack, Theo was too reckless, too unpredictable - but you couldn’t deny it, he knew you. You could feel tears coming on and you saw Theo’s smile fade he began to say something but you ran out of the room.
He immediately followed you and he saw you grab your bag and keys and head for the door.
“Y/N wait!” He called, you ignored him and left the house.
“What did you do?” Lydia asked.
“Fuck.” Theo said scratching his head.
You made it home and wiped away your tears. You had no idea why Theo had gotten to you so easily, it was like he was inside your head, pulling out every thought you had ever had.
You took your time to go upstairs to your room as you were exhausted. You switched your light on and saw Theo sitting on the chair in the corner of your room. You screamed and dropped everything.
“Theo! Get out!” You could hear your blood rushing through your ears.
“No, not until you tell me what just happened.”
“I mean it Theo. Get. Out.” You seethed, Theo shook his head and stood up.
“Listen Y/N. I don’t want you to hate me anymore.”
“Then get the fuck out.” You replied. You switched your bedside lamp on and turned the light off because it was too bright.
“I’m going to bed now so if you can just leave.” You sighed, pinching the bridge of your nose.
“No.”
“Jesus Christ Theo what do you want from me?” You cried.
“I just want you to be honest with me Y/N! Please, I need you to say how you really feel about me.”
“Fine. I hate that I trusted you, I hate that you put my friends in danger and I hate that I was so close to telling you how I really felt about you when you betrayed us.” By this point tears were streaming down your face and you furiously wiped them away.
“I see.” He mumbled.
“No, you don’t, because yes I cover our connection because I hate myself for the truth.” You panted. “So if you promise to leave me alone I will be honest with you.” Theo was nodding his head. “I like you Theo, a lot. I always have, as soon as you came to Beacon Hills. I was so sure you liked me back and it literally felt like you ripped out my heart when you did what you did. In spite of all that I still like you and I hate it.”
“Please let me explain Y/N.” Theo begged.
“No I’m not done. When Scott told me I didn’t believe him, I told him on the phone - 'I know him though and I know what he wouldn’t do to hurt me. Then you made me feel like it’s my fault because maybe if I noticed the signs…” You were crying now.
“It wasn’t your fault baby.” Theo added, walking closer to you. You shook your head and took a step back.
“But I was too caught up on you to realise, you had me wrapped around your finger and you used that, you used me Theo.” You were finished and you couldn’t believe you had just said all that out loud. Theo was silent but his eyes were filled with tears and you had to look away.
“I know you have no reason to believe me when I say this but I almost didn’t go through with it, but the dread doctors were too far gone. I tried to make them go away but they wouldn’t listen.” Theo pleaded. “I wanted a fresh start with you but they made me do it.”
“It was still you Theo.” You sobbed.
“I know but it was out of my control by that point. I had no control over myself it was like the need for power was so strong and I realise now that I don’t need that anymore, all I need is you.”
“It’s too late Theo.” You sniffed. “I went through so much pain, I don’t think I’m ever going to be able to get over that.”
“No Y/N, please. Try.” He strode over to you and cupped your face, he leant his forehead on yours and closed his eyes.
“I love you.” He whispered so quietly but you heard it and you gasped and closed your eyes also.
You were silent and your heart was beating erratically. Just as the longing became unbearable he ducked his head down and firmly pressed his lips against yours.
You wrapped your arms around his neck and you lost yourself in Theo’s peppermint breath and soft lips. He placed one hand on your back and pulled you in, you willingly let him - your body moving in sync with his.
Your knees felt weak and you realised that the only thing keeping you up were his strong arms. Your brain was working in several different ways and you didn’t know how to stop it.
The warmth of Theo’s mouth sent a current through your body and you nearly moaned. God you loved him, you loved him so much.
And just like that the kiss was over and you were suddenly aware of your surroundings. You were panting and you felt dizzy. Theo helped you balance yourself, still keeping a firm grip on your back.
He reached up and stroked your hair out of your face. You smiled and looked down. He lifted your head up gently and only then you noticed how clear his eyes were.
“Don’t hide away from me Y/N, I won’t hurt you.” You nodded and gathered your thoughts. Theo wrapped his arms around you and pulled you into a tight embrace. You felt like crying again so you did, Theo stroked your hair again and again until you calmed down.
“Do you regret it?” Theo asked after some time.
“No.” You sniffed. Theo let go of you and nodded.
“Do you want me to go?”
“What do you think?” Theo laughed and hugged you again, holding you tighter than usual. He couldn’t believe that he had been given a second chance but one thing he did know, he wasn’t going to blow it.
A/N: Again, this has been written for so long, like last September I just never got around to posting it.
