Ally: Her dad is Pinocchio, making Pin her younger brother.

Amber Dearly: She's a waitress but still does beauty pageant events when they're in season.

Anthony Tremaine: Jacob Lathyn (The Baker from Cinderella 2) is his dad.

Anxelin Fitzherbert: She's Goth.

Arabella: She's morally gray (and had ill intentions when she stole her granddad's trident).

Ariana Rose: Grows less jealous of Audrey over time and cuts contact with their grandmother. Is very popular in college.

Artie Pendragon: Somehow ends up with a pet dragon. No one knows how it happened.

Audrey Rose: Goes on to be the CEO she always wanted to be.

Aziz: He takes after his mother in looks and personality.

Bashful Jr.: He goes by Bash and is very popular in school.

Beezlebub (The Cat): Beelzebub is the Lucifer's least favorite kitten.

Ben: Likes building miniature models and wanted to be in a band with Ben and Lonnie when he was a kid.

Big Murph: He lost his eye as a kid when rough housing with the Gaston Twins.

Bobby Hood: He's Tiger Peony's boyfriend and a sports commentator at school.

Bobby Radcliffe: is a good friend of Artie Pendragon and is very shy.

Bonny: Is the medic of Uma's crew.

Carina Potts: Wears a cooking pot as a hat.

Chip Potts: Babysat Ben a lot when he was younger. Has 13 siblings. He works at the castle.

Chloe Charming: Learned a lot of what she knows in ROAR from Lonnie.

Claudine Frollo: She had red hair and is left handed.

Clay Clayton: He's a party animal and is very hard to take out in a fight.

Crabby: is actually quite pleasant to be around.

Crocodile Descendants: They love tormenting Captain Hook and wrestling.

Cubby: He handles Neverland Academy's finances.

Danny Darling-Cooper: He's good at tourney and ROAR.

Derek: He's a selective mute and carries a bell around to get his friends' attention when they're arguing.

Derelict (Electric Eel): He's the friendly eel.

Desiree: She's one of the most wild pirate kids. Even when compared to her crewmates.

Diego de Vil: His most popular song is titled 'Kill the Beast'.

Dhandi: Is Jordan's adoptive older sister (since Eden is Jordan's bio mom).

Dizzy Tremaine: She joins Evie's business when she graduates and her jewelry becomes very popular.

Doc II: Goes by Raphael.

Doug: Evie helps him meet his favorite band (The Dragon Players) on his 21st birthday.

Dude (The Dog): He is jealous of Beelzebub.

Eddie Balthazar: He is always tired.

Eliza: She becomes more of a rebel as she grows up and is always backing Jane up when FG gets difficult (like most parents do).

Elle: She's adopted.

Emir (number 26): He's Aziz's younger brother and is a lot like his dad, personality wise. He does not like his mom's cousins.

Evie: She is Dizzy's half sister.

Finn the Mer-Boy: He works at neverland academy but also remains as Neverland's Protectors (kicking entitled tourist out when they cause too much non fun trouble/damage).

Freddie Facilier: Is banned from being alone with Jordan because those two are just as bad as Ally and Cj when alone together.

Gaston Jr.: He relates a lot to Luisa Madrigal. He also walks with a limp after a failed escape attempt he and his father attempted (he nearly drowned).

Gaston The 3rd.: He's the smart twin.

Gesundheit: Cannot for the life of him spell his name.

Gil: Has stolen a penguin from the zoo with Jay, Chad, Harry, and Carlos before.

Ginny Gothel: Is allergic to flowers. Her middle name is flower.

Gordon: Is a mechanic.

Hadie: Has a villain phase as a teen that no one takes seriously.

Hamish of DunBroch: He works with bears.

Hana: She is the royal party planner in her kingdom.

Hap: He's a hippie/hipster mixture and has a van he customized himself.

Harriet Hook: She has a hip high rose tattoo and broke Anthony Tremaine's nose once when she was 12.

Harris of DunBroch: Will not hesitate to bite people in fights even as an adult.

Harry Badun: He is a detective and has made it his job to make everyone behind the isle and every bad isle adult's lives hell. He will also make up outrageous theories to mess with people he doesn't like.

Harry Hook: Is good at art and has Dyscalculia.

Henry: He's a long lost de Vil.

Herkie: He has his dad's personality and strength but his mama's brain and kinda looks like a blend of his parents.

Hermie Bing: She has a variety of circus related skills, loves clowns, has a sweet tooth, and wears very colorful clothes.

Hubert of DunBroch: Loves reminding his sister of how she turned him into a bear all the time.

Hunter de Vil: His influencer career takes off when the barrier is brought down.

Ivy de Vil: She's allergic to hair dye and becomes a great model when off the isle.

Izzy: She's ROAR instructor at Neverland Academy.

Jace Badun: His mom was a strong woman at the Ringmaster's circus. He is the most exasperated person you will ever meet.

Jack/Korak: He prefers 'Korak' over Jack. He takes after his dad looks wise but his mom personality and fashion wise.

Jade: She has tons of scars from the crocodile wrestling.

Jake: Because of him, Princess Pirate, Finn, Stormy, Marina, Izzy, and Cubby all grew up.

James Brown Jr.: He works at a candy shop.

Jane: She's a big gossip and she and Carlos both bonded over this.

Jane Darling-Cooper: She's a teaching assistant at Neverland Academy.

Jay: He sleeps with a stuffed tiger but will deny it if asked.

Jenna: She's Aziz's oldest sibling and is the heir to the throne. She has a pet Elephant.

Jonas: He's Uma's cousin.

Jordan: She's the one who created the secret Agrabah Club at school (along with Aziz).

La Foux Doux: He's younger than LeFou Deux and loves puppet shows.

Lagan (Electric Eel): He's the mean eel.

Li (number 85): His parents took creative liberty with his name without checking to see if that spelling already existed.

Li Shang Jr: His music is decent but few people take him seriously because of the whole 'Lil Shang' nickname thing.

Lil Yaz: He died of appendicitis after d1. He was morally grey/apathic and had eyes for Quinlynn Hearts.

Lina: Jasmine was her favorite babysitter and she in turn, ended up babysitting the younger of Jasmine's kids when she was in Agrabah.

Lucifer: Lucifer often escapes from the saloon and gets on everyone's nerves.

Lulu Brown: She's much younger than her brother, Jim/James Brown Jr. and is a very good at ballet.

Mad Maddy: She has quite the sweet tooth.

Madam Mim's granddaughters: No one is sure how many there are or how they came to be.

Maddox Hatter: He's an inventor and is very close to Red.

Mal: She grows up a lot after the royal wedding and gets back in touch with her artistic side.

Marina the Mermaid: She's the swim coach at Neverland Academy.

Marya Rasputin: She's the doctor of Harriet's crew.

Max La Bouf: He works at Tiana's palace and often caters the events for his family and Ralphie's.

Melody: She's an environmental activist and the go-to cousin everyone talks to when they need someone who will hear them out.

Meriem: She and Korak are married now, and she's very into learning languages.

Mia: She is a sore loser when it comes to the fashion industry.

Miguel (number 44): He's a Madrigal.

Morgie le Fay: Morgie is just a nickname.

Opal: She's Freddie and Celia's aunt.

Othello (The Parrot): He repeats the things EQ used to say to Evie but is a very loving pet otherwise.

Pin: He's very smart and skipped a grade.

Pirate Kitty (Cat): It's Gil's pet cat (seen in a missing poster in d2).

Princess Pirate: Her friends now call her 'Princess' for short.

Quinlynn Hearts: She's the oldest Heart child and she had a crush on LIl Yaz.

Rafi: He gets along the best with his younger brother, Aziz, and works in the royal guard now.

Ralphie: He and Max are Pen Pals.

Rami: He's a party animal.

Red Hearts: Red is just a nickname. She's also in the school newspaper.

Reza: He is very interested in forensics and was adopted by Mozenrath and Sadira. He has two younger siblings and one older.

Rick Ratcliffe: His middle name is 'Perseus'. Yes, after the pug. And he has a habit of saving people from drowning/bodies of water.

Ruby Fitzherbert: She's shy and artsie.

Salima: She's a middle child now.

Sammy Smee: He's an inventor and a book worm.

Scarlet: She's Carter's twin and is considered the 'evil' twin.

Shy: His name is very fitting because he really is shy.

Sleepy Jr.: He's a gamer.

Snoozy: Snoozy is a night owl.

Sophie: She's Snow White's eldest child.

Spotted Hyenas: They like tormenting Gaston but not his kids.

Squeaky Smee: He's a selective mute.

Stabbington cousins: They're only known by their nicknames by those outside of their family (and for good reason, since they're secretly Westergaards).

Stormy The Mermaid: She becomes a hippie when's older and mellows out.

The Sea witches: They're the daughters of Ursula's sisters.

The Tweedledum and Tweedledee cousins: They all have varying shades of red hair.

The Wicked Step-Granddaughters: The seven that are Drizella's are Hans' daughters as well. If any are Anastasia's, they're adopted.

Tiger Peony: She's a hippie vegetarian who's really into Tourney but doesn't play.

Tipo: He learns to cook from Kronk and helps him out with  Camp Chippamunka during the summer when he's older.

Tyrone (number 32): He's Tiana and Naveen's son. Lotte spoiled him, lol.

Uma: She gets her OWN sea phonies after d3 and she keeps her shark friends as well.

William (number 12): Wendy's oldest son and Jane Darling's younger brother.

Yi-Min: She's good at tourney as well as Swords and Shields.

Yupi: He is Kuzco's favorite 'nephew'.

Yzla: She's good at gymnastics.

Zam: He is the oldest of the kids in Yzma's family and has also caught his cousins doing weird things most often.

Zellie: She's the oldest of Flynnpunzal's kids.

Zephyr: He looks more like his mom as he grows up.

Zevon: His dad (and his siblings' dad) is Cedric from Sofia the first. His mom also accidentally turned him into a llama as a baby.

Zim: He still practices chemistry but the idea of being evil bores him.

always looking to be closer friends so here’s my question for you.

pick one of your favorite oc’s and just feel to ramble about them. about your favorite things about them, their storylines you love . their relationships and hobbies. just everything you wanna talk about <3

AHHHHH, THANK YOU SO SO MUCH FOR THIS, CJ!!! Cannot even tell you how much this means to me. I think, for the purposes of keeping to fandoms we both share (and because I hardly ever get asked about him), I’m gonna tell you about my 911 baby Bowie!!

Favorite things about him:

First and foremost, he is legitimately such a sweetheart! He cares so so deeply about pretty much everyone, he’s so consistently nice, and he will do absolutely anything for the people he loves. And he’s also really smart, not just nerdy the way most people assume he is at first; he may not be super perceptive, since he can’t read a social cue to save his life, but he knows a lot of stuff about a lot of things and he won’t hesitate to use his knowledge if it will be useful. And he’s also such a good boyfriend to Buck and Eddie, and a great stepdad to Chris; with Buck only being his second serious relationship, he has a lot of learning to do about being a good partner and coexisting with another person that way, and it’s not as if he has a lot of prior experience with kids, but he always makes the effort and he becomes a really good partner and stepparent.

Storylines I love:

Oh, jeez, where do you want me to start? For starters, I really love the storyline of his first relationship before he and Buck start dating, a really sweet guy named Jack who he dates from the end of season one towards the middle of season two, because it’s just a really sweet time of Bowie being happy and feeling good about himself before some of the angst of his and Buck’s, and later his and Buck’s and Eddie’s, relationship starts. Other favorites include his and Buck’s hookup era before they officially get together, the angst of their relationship during the lawsuit arc because that also technically takes place during their hookup era, his recovery arc after his leg gets broken in the firetruck explosion that causes Buck to need blood thinners (and then going to help with aid during the tsunami despite the fact that he wasn’t fully healed because he’s kind of an idiot), and the whole chaos of him and Buck almost simultaneously realizing their feelings for Eddie while they’ve already been dating each other for a few years now and just try to ignore the feelings and not talk about it until they explode at the exact same time and tell each other. Also the whole thing where he gets shot in the head and almost dies and tries to hide his PTSD from it after he’s physically recovered, because if there is one thing a 911 character will do it is suppress their trauma.

My favorite relationships of his:

Obviously I adore his relationships with both Buck and Eddie; they’re sweet in two mostly different ways, but they are both absolutely sweet and loving and adorable. His relationship with Chris is also amazingly cute - a little bit awkward at first, because Bowie’s just a little awkward around kids, but he eventually becomes a really great and supportive stepdad who, along with Buck, Chris loves to ask a million questions to and let him infodump. His relationship with Bobby is also just amazing; Bowie had only been at the 118 for a month or two before Bobby took over as captain, and he was the first person in the firehouse Bowie felt really comfortable infodumping to and showing his more obvious autistic traits to, and they wound up developing a nice father-son relationship based on mutual respect and a love of Dan Brown’s books. His dynamic with Athena is also actually kind of funny; Bowie is deeply intimidated by her at first, but it passes eventually and she definitely becomes his work mom the way Bobby is his work dad.

His hobbies:

Reading is definitely a big one for him! He’s been obsessed with sci-fi, fantasy, and mystery novels since he was a kid, and typically if there’s a lull in activity in the firehouse or if he’s man behind, you can find him with his nose in a book if he’s not engaged in a conversation. He also really loves watching movies, especially older ones - the original Star Wars trilogy, The Princess Bride, and Singin’ in the Rain are some of his favorites. He can also play guitar and sing, which I wouldn’t exactly call a hobby because he doesn’t do it a whole ton, but sometimes when he’s home alone he’ll pull out his guitar, strum a random song, and sing along quietly to it. (There’s also a certain scene I have in mind of him singing that’s actually really important to his story and that I will write one day, I swear.)

I've finally watched finished all 2 seasons of diary of a future president and I HAVE SO MANY EMOTIONS SO IF YOU DON'T WANT SPOILERS SCROLL AWAY

Ok first and foremost, BOBBY IN SEASON 2!!! I DID NOT THINK I COULD LOVE THIS BOY ANYMORE THAN I DID IN SEASON 1 *BUT THEN SEASON 2 HAPPENED* I love his journey with his sexuality so freaking much, I sobbed when he came out to Elena and subsequently teared up everytime he came out to someone else. Simply putting it, I love him and I will protect this precious bean with my life.

AND CAN WE TALK ABOUT THE LOVE TRIANGLE FOR A SECOND??? I'm gonna need cartero stans and cjbobby stans to come on here and tell me why their ship is superior because I CAN'T DECIDE THEY'RE BOTH SO DAMN CUTE!!! Like I went into season 2 being a full-blown cartero stan AND THEN *CJ* CAME INTO THE PICTURE. And just as I was settling into the cjbobby ship bcs they cute cute, S2EP10 HAPPENED. LIKE HELLO? THE FRENCH RESTAURANT "DATE"? THE LOOK BACK? Clearly Liam isn't just an ally, and cartero is looking very much endgame rn, but I don't wanna jinx anyth, and as much as I love cartero I have a soft spot for cjbobby now so pls lemme know what u think.

Oh and of course, we can't forget THE CJBOBBY KISS. Idc if ur a cartero shipper, THAT SHIT WAS CUTE, TOP TIER DISNEY KISS. I will be obsessing over that for days tyvm.

Now let's talk about dear Elena. I love her, and I love her storyline this season. The way it shows how she's growing up, transitioning into teenagehood. I definitely saw abit of my 13 year old self in her, I could really relate to some of the mistakes she made. She's just growing so much as a character, and we love to see it. Also, her frn grp? Girl bosses, absolute girl bosses.

Can I just say that I called Elena and Emilio? As soon as I saw Emilio I KNEW it was gonna be a thing, shipped it right from the start baby. I've never been a big fan of Joey anyway, just didn't get a good vibe from him. Thank god they're not canon. My theory is that next season, Emilio and Elena will both be student reps, and will have to work together which would totally set up their romantic storyline really well.

Gabi and Sam. I love Gabi and Sam. They have such a healthy relationship, full of communication and love. It's the kind of relationship I'd want to have one day. I love how Sam had just been trying to find his space in the family, and finally found it. And not to mention how cool the kids were about it. No toxicity or anything, just love in a healthy household.

I DEMAND WE SEE CAMI AND DANIELLE'S WEDDING NEXT SEASON. I DON'T CARE HOW IT HAPPENS, IT JUST NEEDS TO HAPPEN. NO AND IFS OR BUTS.

Where did Claude go? Like, there was an explanation for Ziggy's departure at least, but Claude was there for an episode or two and poof he's just gone? And especially since the show put so much emphasis on how close Sasha and Claude were, it's a bit strange how he just dipped, even if it's stated that they are still together.

Yeah, I think that about covers everything. I did not expect to love this show as much as I did, but here I am. FINGERS CROSSED FOR A SEASON 3! Now it's time to drown myself in fanfiction while we await the renewal.

Perpetually tired of their family’s sh*t and having to explain very basic concepts (like: you can’t marry someone you just met, or don’t use an axe when there might be a baby in the wall). When their secret finally does surface, it’s explosive and hurts their loved ones. Ice Skating.

Bonus: Bagheera (The Jungle Book). Ends up with more immature children than he knows how to handle.

Athena - Esmerelda (The Hunchback of Notre Dame). Fights for what she thinks is right. Thinks outside the box. There’s a softness for those she cares for and a swift kick in the nuts for those she doesn’t. Enjoys some sexy times but only when she’s in control. Has a kid who is ready to throw down at all times. Falls for the boring guy. 

Bonus: Shang (Mulan). Motivated by the loss of a loved one and a desire for parental approval. Would love to kick your ass if you even try to give up the good fight.

Chimney - Judy Hopps (Zootopia). Big dreams in a tiny body. Smart and fast and endearingly ambitious. Makes friends everywhere just by being a decent human being. #WorkplaceDiscrimination. Big family and growing by the second but somewhat ignored by their parents. Uneasy friendship with an old bully (Tommy). Generally underestimated which proves to be an asset. Falls for a fox.

Bonus: Bernard (The Rescuers). Superstitious. Dragged into danger by his kind-of girlfriend.

Hen - Lilo (Lilo and Stitch). “Ohana” means family. Family means nobody gets left behind. Or forgotten. Sees someone she likes and immediately adopts them. The definition of Chaotic Good energy. Will bite a bitch because she deserves it. Struggles to keep her family together (and kind of messes it up). Will go to the ends of the earth for her found family. Mistakes are forgiven, your past is your own, she just loves you now.

Bonus: Nala (The Lion King). An endearing troublemaker and a serious but kind-hearted rebel who fights for what’s right.

Buck - Jim Hawkins (Treasure Planet). Comes from a broken family but no matter what, there was an older female family member he could always rely on. Adventurous and rebellious to the point of destruction. Finds a guiding hand in a mentor who isn’t perfect but loves him like a son. Uses his skills to save people and do good. Previous hair choices we don’t like to talk about.

Bonus: Hercules (Hercules). Falls for an older woman. Knows less about the world than his muscles would suggest. Has headbutt a horse.

Eddie - Eric (The Little Mermaid). Struggles to find a balance between duty and desire. A traditional beauty with a booty and dark, flowing locks. Relies heavily on the advice of his elders. Humble and kind. Abhors the spotlight despite his profession/nobility. Loves doing reckless things if it means saving others. Kind of a dumbass but in a mature way...somehow - like you don’t notice it right away.

Bonus: Tiana (The Princess and the Frog). Driven by duty and hard work and yet, somehow, veers straight into danger with another dumbass.

Maddie - Wendy (Peter Pan). Placed into a maternal position way too young, but she loves her brother(s) and will do anything to care for those in her charge. Kind and curious and maybe a little judgmental, but look at the people she spends time with. Seems helpless but in the face of real danger, she will throw down. She is also completely unafraid to stand up for herself in any situation. 

Bonus: Rapunzel (Tangled). Escapes an abusive relationship. Has definitely hit her boyfriend with a frying pan.

Michael - Pacha (The Emperor’s New Groove). Constantly getting pulled into other people’s sh*t but eventually finds it very fun. Loves his family more than anything. If he can teach you a lesson and judge you while doing it, he absolutely will. Almost loses everything but ends up gaining something special because two people are trapped together for an indeterminate amount of time.

Bonus: Pongo (101 Dalmatians). Weird meet-cute. Will fight for his family but not, like, directly.

let's get into thisss... honestly, this is how a good show should be structured. everyone gay, the token straights on their best behavior and actually setting an example on how to be good allies. we love to see it. yeah, I'm not going to lie. when I've sunken my teeth into something fruity, you better believe I'm going to keep chewing until I've extracted all the flavor. honestly, I just don't have an opinion on cj yet. like, I think liking them as a couple is fine and to say he didn't help bobby grow is just plain wrong. there's just not much else to him for me, personally. they could've named him anything but cj, though. like, this is not a coincidence, I refuse to believe that. so, if we're going to see a lot more of him next season (let's hope, we're going to get one... I've not forgotten how long it took d*sney to renew this show), he needs to presented a little bit more complex, in detail of sorts. we need to get to know him better. when it comes to love triangles though, I'm always all in for just one guy and you know who that is here 🙊 honestly don't know why they went with the 'cooler older guy' trope. I feel like there's a lot of vicious spins to this and I just hope we don't get to see any of them. I'm just tired of certain narratives when it comes to gay relationships in media. going to admit they had a lot more chemistry but this was mainly because bobby and liam had basically nothing going on this season except bobby's initial jealousy... only for them to crank that shit up to 100% real quick with that scene™. if this is not what heartbreak looks like, I don't know what does. for the record: that boy is not straight. I've never been a big fan of coming out narratives. maybe that's just my personal view on things or whatever. but they did it so well? I can't even express how I'm feeling about it. streets are saying I might have been crying a little. will not go into detail. really the most beautiful and best reactions you could get and I love that so much for bobby. really beautifully done, really hopeful. they didn't undermine the importance of it either but also didn't make it weird... you know? maybe the best moments this season by far. cami is literally my favorite side character. I just love how unapologetically lesbian she is with everything she does and says. it's so refreshing to have an character who is allowed to view things from a gay perspective and say things from a gay perspective. completely unredacted. I just love her so much. the show just wouldn't be the same without her 💕

The New Abnormal - some thoughts

9-1-1 is back y’all. 

And I’m very happy that it is. I wasn’t going to write up a review of this episode mostly because I felt like there wasn’t much that needed to be said but I have thoughts. First, I’m so so happy to have this show back on the air. And secondly, I am pretty satisfied with this first episode. 

Spoilers under the cut:

This episode had an interesting quality to it in that we’re given some insight into what’s happened in the six months since we left the characters. And just like in the real world, everything has changed. The show had to give us just enough information to grasp at what’s happened with the characters so we learn fairly quickly that living arrangements have been a bit different. 

Chim is still staying with Buck in Buck’s apartment because he’s paranoid about being with Maddie. Maddie is with Albert. We also hear that at one point Eddie and Hen were both away from their kids/family but have since returned back home. Bobby and Athena remained together with May and Harry and grew an herb garden but that Harry has recently moved in with Michael and Michael’s doctor boyfriend (which confuses me because David is working at a hospital...so why would they want Harry to stay there?)

These small glimpses tell us that they have been affected by the pandemic just as much as we, the viewers, have. I do now have an image in my mind of Hen, Eddie, and Chim all staying in Buck’s apartment with blow up mattresses and all. Of course in my dream version of that Eddie would sneak upstairs to sleep in Buck’s bed once Hen and Chim were passed out. Hen and Chim would, out of the goodness of their hearts, keep pretending they weren’t aware of what was happening. Hen’s phone would have a whole album full of pictures that were shared in a group text that include everyone but Buck and Eddie. It would come back to bite them later. 

But, getting back to what was actually on screen:

This episode spends a lot of time with the developing emergency of the dam break. It reminds me a little of S3’s opening episode except that 4x01 isn’t quite as big. It’s a bit muted and the episode focuses on the bus through the building call and the rescue of the biker. Both are related to the dam break, but they’re also run of the mill cases for the 118. There is a lot of focus on the cases, though, and even more on the build up of the big emergency that opens this season. And to make that happen, this episode does not have a direct focus on the main cast of characters or an emotional focus. 

We get a little of everyone’s struggles. We see the Maddie and Chim issue of having moved in together and yet not living together, we have Bobby’s worry for Athena, May is worried too and taking a gap year to work as a 9-1-1 operator, and we’re introduced to the small mystery of who is Buck talking to via video call? But this is touching on the surface of the personal connections that these characters share with each other isn’t explored further in this episode. This makes sense because this episode feels like part one of the story and so not everything needs to be resolved right away. We don’t really get to see much of Hen or Eddie and we certainly don’t get to know what’s going on with them past their actions during the emergencies and even with Chim and Buck there’s only surface information. 

The episode does better when focusing on Athena which absolutely makes sense because of where Athena was left off in the last season. Athena’s struggle to return to work and having her want to take it easy and ease back into it only to have her then need to go on the streets felt so absolutely real. She’s our fierce Athena and she is struggling and yet so strong and resilient and then she’s caught up in the emergency and oh boy does 9-1-1 know how to hook you into wanting another episode immediately. 

The episode does give some focus to the people involved in the emergencies. CJ who is precious and must be protected. And Janelle who’s story is just heartbreaking in light of everything going on in the world. 9-1-1 sure knows how to make you care about one-off characters but the flashbacks leading up to her unfortunate bike ride really paints a picture of what this pandemic has done.  

Overall, I do like the way they’re handling the covid aspects even if it’s easy to tell that the use of masks makes some shots inconsistent and that the characters removing their masks constantly to speak/act with their whole faces is kind of funny but I guess necessary for the show. I think they’ve set up the dam break really well and that the episode is woven together really well in terms of how they develop the story they’re telling in particular to Athena but the emergency as a whole. I’m excited to see where this goes and how the rest of the season develops. 

Like everyone else, I am very curious about Buck’s “covid crush” and what that will mean in future episodes because it’s clear that not all seems straight forward with this and because we have Buck Begins coming up soon and what I expect to be lots of angst. I am so glad this show is back and can’t wait to see where it takes us.

Sally and Athena have already threatened five different medical professionals to get Annabeth some drugs. Poseidon is practically fucking vibrating 

While Annabeth is getting all settled in Percy starts calling all their friends to tell them and they are SO OFFENDED that they DARE to be in another state whilst Annabeth is delivering so everyone starts fucking scrambling to get there

Nico and Hazel shadow travel themselves, Frank, Reyna and Piper over. Leo, Calypso, Grover, Chiron, Rachel and Thalia physically wrangle Apollo into driving them there in his chariot. Magnus and Alex had to blackmail Sam to fucking fly them there. everyone else had to fend for themselves. everyone is screaming

Artemis did in fact disguise her way onto the delivery team and Percy’s just like….please don’t shoot my wife with an arrow. it’d be awesome if you refrained from doing that,

a nurse tried to tell Thalia that the delivery room was family only and she screamed and knocked her out before running into the room lmao

Grover’s hyperventilating practically the entire time and because of the empathy link Percy’s like dude YOU are freaking ME out so that’s a whole situation 

between all the chaos in the waiting room and all the yelling in the delivery room this maternity wing has literally never been so stressed out before lmao

Annabeth looses all concept of cool and is yelling at the doctor even as she’s pushing

Hedge is making mildly obnoxious jokes. all that

but anyway once they get settled back home and everything. they are the MOST paranoid first time parents lmao

every single little noise this child makes has them on edge. they tiptoe constantly. whom needs sleep

baby doctor on speed dial. “why’d he stop eating???!!?” “…maybe he’s…full?” “…oh.”

but when they’re not busying worrying they have the Cutest Fucking Baby In The World, good for them

Annabeth suddenly realizes taking leave makes sense. her and Percy are like glued to this kid. so many pictures. so many videos. 

once he gets a little older and they have to, like, have Lives again, Percy constantly brings him to the aquarium with him and it’s. CUTE.

okay I’m tired so this is getting away from me but overall I’d see them having like maybe 3 or 4 kids.

Loud House Reviews: The Loudest Thanksgiving

It’s almost Thanksgiving! And a vastly diffrent one than in recent memory: Most of us are slimming down family gatherings to just whose in our house, you know because theirs a pandemic going on and it’s not worth risking your life for it. To those either guilting their families into it or doing so because MAGa or some such I only have this to say. 

Speaking of Black Friday i’ts spread over a week and it’s cyber deals mean I got a ton of graphic novels for a dollar a piece and my christmas shopping almost done. So in other words, boo Maga, yay safe and responsible captalisim.  But while the holiday may be diffrent, as well as the pseudo holiday attached that spawned a wonderful musical and many many injuries, one thing stays the same; Holiday Episodes. And despite being the less popular of the three holidays, Thanksgiving still produced tons of great holiday episodes and specials. And with everything being so busy I simply didn’t put too much thought into what to do for Turkey Day.. well okay the day proper i’m going to eat, spend time with family and watch a bunch of mystery science theater 3000, stay the course even in these troubling times, just with only the 4 other people who live in my house. But in terms of episodes I thought i had nothing.. then I started actually thinking on it and what do you know I have three things I want to do for the holiday, though one might wait till next year, and possibly a fourth. But given my workload currently, i’m not one to back away from a challenge, so welcome to a three or four course meal of reviews. First course: The Loud House thanksgiving special, the loudest thanksgiving.  I originally wasn’t going to do this one, mostly because due to my large workload and constant battle with procastination, I keep having to push back the latest episode review, and I have to do that one soon, as there’s a new episode in december and a christmas episode i’ve put off watching for far too long , as I INTENDED to watch eleven louds a leapin for every chirstmas up till now and never got to it before the season was over.  But just like elven louds.. Nick forced my hand.. and by that I mean the SPINOFF got a thanksgiving episode that’s also a sequel in some fashion to this episode. If I wanted to cover that episode this thanksgiving or the next I had to at least watch the original. And frankly, this close to the holiday there was no reason not to review it. So with that out of the way. 

Let’s Get At Er. This is The Loudest Thanksgiving... after the break

The Loudest Thanksgiving takes place during season 3, and still pre-casagrandes spinoff launch despite the christmas special taking place earlier. This is actually easy to explain: The Loud House runs on Comic Strip time... i.e. the characters don’t age unless the writers decide they do. But while the spinoff was in motion at this point, it was still a season off airing wise, and ill advised raitings stunt mini series wise, so in order to keep the Casagrandes fresh in people’s minds presumably, they did a crossover that at this point wasn’t a crossover but now technically is because the show exists but this existed before the show. 

It’s just a show, and I should really just relax. Point is this is a pre-crossover crossover, the two families meet for the first time, the man already said pitter patter, let’s get back at er.  So we open with Flip serving as our magical snowman narrator and regaling us with the tale of steven. Every compastionate can you imagine it... and i’m fucking with you, it’s of course abotu that time the louds and the casagrandes tried having thanksgiving together. 

We then cut to Lori and Bobby being all cute, as usual, and both talking over the phone as each show off their thanksgivings to each other and the enusing family shenanigans. On Lori’s side Lynn is wearing baggy pants so she dosen’t miss the game or the meal by going to the bathroom.. because that’s how pissing yourself works. Look if your going to do something that gross, stupid and broish just woman up and wear an adult diaper. The twins are guarding Lynn sr and the food, poorly, and Lisa has invented a Gravy Squriting robot. I can only see this ending one way. 

Yeah those single function robots really get useless once the exestnetial crisis kicks in. 

On the casagrandes side, Rosa is likewise guarding her kitchen, Frida is painting and Hector plans to sernade eveyrone because Hector is the best and you all should know that. Even with the recent Bobby Abuse he’s still awesome. As for the Mercado, CJ and Ronnie Anne are running the annual canned food drive because CJ is better than the best and should really be used more often.  Both wish they could be there.. and both honestly talk about possibly spending thanksgiving with each other and just one of their family. It’s not a wild proposition: Both are going to college soon, both are in a longterm relationship.. they plan to get married down the line for now. If things hold they will eventually have to figure this out. Of course rather than fate let them figure this out themselves, Hector overhears on Bobby’s end and Lincoln, whose busy A Clock Work Oranging himself so he can stay awake during dinner, overhears on Loris, leading to an emergency family meeting for both sides.  Both families are worried their prospective teenager going to another house of their longterm significant other for one year will mean they get all the holidays. Having never had a relationship last long enough to worry about this, I don’t quite get it as in my experince watching couples juggle this.. they usually just alternate years, spoilers the solution the episode goes with, or trade off christmas and thanksgiving, both fair solutions. Buuut as much as this bothered me at first the more I thought about it the more it actually made sense: People.. aren’t always rational and won’t always do the smart or correct thing, especially when it comes to their children. And with Lori leaving college and the casagrandes being togehter for thanksgiving for the first time in about 5 years, with both ronnie anne and her mom not having had a proper one in some time due to her mom needing to work thanksgiving, presumibly because of the eternal curse of gravy chugging contests, they have valid emotional reasons to go a bit nuts and do some irrational and assholish things. They just don’t want to loose their big sister and big brother, and that’s fair. It may not be at all accurate but it’s fair. 

So thus began the great Guilt Off of 2018. ON the Loud side they START with a fairly soft pitch, the twins simply offer her food early, and she takes it because honestly I would too. Then again, i’d also take free food in just about any situation, so i’m not really a good gage for this. As long as it’s not poision i’ll probably eat it if it’s free. The next two are a little.. less subtle, with the kids talking about Lori’s roll in the annual thanksgiving skit.. which I’m assuming is soley for Lynn Sr. as no one else seems to be going to their thanksgiving. Which granted theirs valid explinations for why their neighbors didn’t go, the mcbrides and mr grouse have their own families and while Mr Grouse rarely gets to see his, he now has neighborly friends after the last holiday special happy to help. But Pop Pop.. makes no sense as his girlfriend, the only plausable reason he wouldn’t be there, was said to not have much family in her debut. So he’s just.. absent from thanksgiving for no reason. Thena gain we later find out this play is movie length, so maybe he was just trying to escape that which in that case, who can blame him. Rita almost reigns things back in with the mother’s trump card: parental guilt. Almost. She then almost crushes lori’s hand but it’s funny enough.  At the Casagrandes, their opening move is largely the same only Rosa wins in terms of execution, cooking up some of bobby’s faviorites to specificially target him. Frida paints him into a painting, again the Casagrandes win his one in terms of effort. They do tie in the last bit, as Maria and Ronnie Anne try the same sort of guilt slining with the same bone crushing.  Eventually both teens get fed up with the next bit; For Lori, Lucy gives her a long overdramatic poem about an empty chair which is easily tied with one bit later for best bit of hte episode.. which granted when I can only think of two or three gags that really made me laugh...

Bobby likewise gets Hector telling the story about a realitvie not going to thanksgiving. Both get angry.. which for Lori, isn’t all that suprising, if entirely warranted. For Bobby though? It’s like pissing off a dolphin. IT’s hard to do and very much not something you want to actually pull of. Both families are forced to admit they eavesdropped, and are incredibly worried about this whole situation, with Lynn Sr selling lincoln up the river for telling them... this man’s capacity for selling out his children is as awe insprising as it is truly pathetic. 

So the two teens go back to their rooms to figure something out and come upon a reasonable solution: just have one of the families host and both come to it. That’s more than fair. But given we still have a full special to pad out, both families are still treating this like a competion: while the louds win the coin toss, both sides are determined to win thanksgiving. IT’s far from the most insane contest i’ve seen this month, x of swords was happening and i’ve seen a russian yank a goblin out of the demonic alligator skin he was using as a puppet. And we don’t know for sure Arrakoa and Krakoa didn’t have a trial over a baby turkey being adorable as one of the challenges. Other challenges included getting drunk, an eating contest, telling someone to murder a kitten and a wedding, all of this is actual stuff that happened in this recent crossover, I have made up nothing. 

So after the break and Flip realizing oh shit the audience is back, the war begins. The Louds are preparing for war, with Lola putting out a picture of herself instead of bobby and laurie because of course.. still not a half bad gag. The Casagrandes arrive and in in a passive agressive move that was already done a year before this special by Brooklyn Nine Nine and better, brought their own food.. though the roast pig is a nice and unique touch. Points for that.  And this.. is where the special gets tedious. Yeah while the IDEA of this episode was really good and I was excited to cover it in practice it’s just similar gags on both sides done for both halves: The first being “let’s guilt them into staying” and the second being “Let’s one up each other” with only two bits really working: Frieda having a painting and the louds annual skit.  And the skit is because it raises a LOT of questions: Why is it 90 minutes, who played the adorable turkey in the years between babies? Was it just whoever was youngest? Who wrote this? Who is this for besides Lynn Sr and Pop Pop? Who all has sat through this thing at some point? Is that why the mcbrides don’t come over for thanksgiving? It’s just.. fantastic is what i’m saying.  

But otherwise this part is just the family trying to one up each other with food, or toasts, or song, before devolving into a big fight. What makes it not work is.. there isn’t a lot of personality there. You have these two big, plentiful, intresting casts, even at this stage with the Casagrandes far less established and fleshed out. And instead of finding interesting ways for them to play off one another meeting for the first time, and to use that to also flesh the characters out more for the inevitable spinoff, it’s just 

For most of the second half. Thankfully it DOES manage to bring things around as after things degenerate into a food fight, the families decide to just ASK the two of them where they want to go.. and find them entirely missing.  It then turns out, in a nice twist, this is where Flip came in. Since his place is the only place open 24/7 and 365, barring fishing season, Bobby and Lori fled here to flee their insane families.. who then follow them there because Carlos and Lisa have them chipped. I was suprised at first Carlos had a tracker on bobby but honestly, i’ts just common sense. The man is like a golden retriver in a man’s body. Here’s an artists interpretation

Both families breifly bicker before Lori and Bobby announce their starting their own family thankgiving with blackjack, and hookers. They really shouldn’t of let Flip in on the brainstorming session. Both families don’t want that, and apologize, admitting they just didn’t want to loose them and both genuinely offering to let the other have them next year. Flip, who despite having a “pay for my colonoscopy jar” with a picture of his ass on it, is somehow the voice of reason and just suggests trading thanksgivings every year, everyone accepts, and we do get a genuinely heartwarming ending of both sides gathering everything for a gas station thanksgiving. Honestly reminds me of king of the hill’s airport episode, but in a very good way and still unique enough circumstances to work.Also Flip, of all people, donates the cans needed to finish the can drive.. granted i’m not sure if they WANT any of that meat, but hey, he meant well and it made me really like the character.  We get a heartwearming duet between hector and luna and sono the whole family and we’re out. 

Final Thoughts: This was disapointing. I’ve listed most of my complaints already, but overall it wasted a good premise of two families coming together, and even the feud parts could’ve been funnier. As it is it’s just.. ehhhhhhhhhh. It has some good parts, and bobby is an angel here on earth as always. But the whole just feels padded. Like this was SUPPOSED to just be 11 minutes, got bumped up, and thus here we are. It’s not the worst Loud House has done, i’ve seen and heard of muccch worse, but for a holiday special it just feels stale and i’ve seen way better thanksgiving specials. Four Sisters and A Wedding - A Movie Review

Hi dears! It’s me again for a movie review after the Holidate one. Here’s my third one and my favorite family movie from the Philippines. I promise it’ll give you a sweet memory of home. Hope you’ll like it! All credits goes to the owners of the Photos and GIFs. Thank you, dears, bigtime!

CJ’s wedding is the only event in the Salazar Family enough to make their Family reunite again. All the way from Spain - Teddy, The New-Yorker - Bobbie, The Aspiring Director – Alex, and the youngest sister, Teacher Gabbie, made their way home for CJ, their youngest sibling was now engaged to Princess, a rich girl but the sisters don’t like her.

Teddy goes home with her fake boyfriend while Bobbie with his boyfriend and his daughter.

Catching up in their family dinner, Alex mentioned that Princess is a “Chararat”, another word for ugly. CJ, offended by what her sisters called her fiancé, he is sulking in their playground. Her sisters immediately said their apologies, but they have to be quiet at the engagement dinner at Princess’ house.

The engagement dinner came and the whole family is in awe of Princess’ house, it was a big mansion. They stayed silent though they seem awkward because Princess’ parents are a little bit braggy.

Still, the four sisters don’t want CJ to be wedded to Princess. They still have to make moves so that CJ will not like her. Thoughts of bringing back CJ’s ex-girlfriend, they can’t make it because CJ’s ex is not in the country.

They came to an idea to let CJ have options. Toti Marie, they’re boyish nanny, was the one in-charge. Little did they know that Toti Marie and the boys went to a motel and a bunch of “decent” (that’s what she calls them, according to her, they are in their school uniform before they came there) girls in their strip costumes.

The next day, the sisters were worried because the boys didn’t go home after the party. The sisters were walking outside their house, they saw the van that the boys used for the party. And there they are! Drunk and sleeping.

While walking the boys inside their house, there arrived Princess and her nannies carrying food for breakfast because she said that it was her instinct that CJ needs her. Gabbie, annoyed by her because Princess is cooking at her kitchen, left her there instead. She told everyone to eat the food she prepared.

Princess walked out of the kitchen with pancakes in hand for CJ’s mom – Grace and for CJ. Grace was impressed at what Princess prepared for her. She actually liked it! But the sisters, still no.

Alex arrived there while they are having their breakfast with her boyfriend, Chad, which was Bobbie’s ex – boyfriend. Princess, not knowing the past, told him to sing her favorite song which was made for Bobbie. Wrong move for princess, it only adds up to CJ’s sisters’ annoyance with her.

Bobbie’s boyfriend – Tristan, went abroad for he has to attend to his work. He left Trixie, his daughter with Bobbie for them to have a bonding since they didn’t get along well. After leaving, crying Trixie told Bobbie that if she has no plans to marry his dad, don’t let his dad hope and just leave him alone. That left Bobbie speechless.

Alex went to Chad’s recording studio and she had a hint that Chad is cheating on her, but she just shrugged it off.

Teddie, with Frodo, his fake boyfriend, went to Princess’ Family Business, the men – only Papa’s Spa. Which according to Teddie, she can smell something wrong with it since the best-selling package for spa is the Happy Ending. Frodo went alone but he told Teddie that when the happy ending at the end is happening, she will call the police and they did.

Upon entering the Spa with the police, they found out that there is nothing wrong with the spa. The police officer and Princess’ mom are both close friends. An embarrassing story for Teddie to tell!

When their sisters found that out, they clashed. They went on a cold war with each other. Some issues from the past were opened up. They just stopped when their Mom arrived. They said they were just playing charades.

Bobbie and Trixie went to the store to get some juice and chocolates, but while she is waiting for Trixie to choose what she likes, she saw Chad and another girl buying condoms while flirting. That only means that Chad is cheating on Alex!

Gown fitting at the Salazar’s came. There goes Princess family – the Bayag’s. They didn’t like the gowns and they just had to have a game that when the Bayag’s wins, they will get to wear the gowns but if the Salazar’s won, they will dress whatever they like.

The game didn’t go well as planned, the Bayag’s had been making fun of the sisters and that Teddie is the Maid in Spain and that there is something off about the Salazar’s. They ended up being tossed by Grace away from their house.

They questioned what is happening in her household. Teddie told that Frodo was just a gardener and her fake boyfriend, she is just a maid because she is one of the teachers that had been laid off because she is not that good in teaching.

More viewpoints opened when she told that she lied to them because they don’t want to disappoint them. She is jealous of Bobbie because she is the smart kid in their family. It turns out Bobbie also had her fair share of grudge to them.

According to Bobbie, she is the least favorite in their family and Alex is the only one that favors Bobbie because growing up, they are bestfriends, but when Chad and her broke up, Alex was the one comforted Chad and they ended up being together.

Bobbie is also jealous of Gabbie because she had the maternal instincts among them, also with CJ because he had the charm and innocence.

It ended up Grace comforting her children and assuring them that no one gets left behind. They are both okay now and no more grudges, finally.

The siblings joined Alex to confront Chad in a restaurant that they used to have gigs, but she found that Chad and a girl kissing. Chad was shocked, he tried to explain but the girl called Alex desperate for his attention. She went on rouge and dragged the girl outside the resto with her sisters helping her. Lucky for the girl, she just let her slide.

It’s Grace birthday and they made her a little surprise. With much icings on their faces, they celebrated Grace’s birthday. The sisters also made Gabbie a cake, their way of thanking her for taking care of their mom.

They had finally accepted Princess but then his grandfather died. In the wake, they decided that the wedding was cancelled because it is a superstition here in the Philippines that no wedding should be conducted on the same year a loved one died. The gowns were going to waste!

Of course, it isn’t because finally, Bobbie will make use of it by marrying Tristan. They ended up having a surprise wedding for Tristan after he landed from the airport. Off to the church they go!

You see, there is nothing we can do when it comes for true love, maybe we’re just rushing on things, but if it’s true love, it can conquer all. At least for me, that’s what I’ve learned, and I came to my senses.

Family should always be treasured, no jealousy, because we are all loved by our parents although we thought that they have their favorites. They don’t have one. We must think that maybe sometimes we are jealous on one another not just because our parents gave more time for them, it’s just that they need more attention because they are more vulnerable to weaknesses.

I was stunned when they’re having their grudges out on each other. That’s my favorite scene! I like confronting others because it makes me feel that my worries are being sorted out. Much kudos to Teddie! She conquered her fear of telling her mother her problems and her downfall.

My favorite character was Bobbie, not just because she is living my dream. She is a corporate communications manager in New York by the way. I love her for being the frank one and the one who can easily adjust to anything.

I’m also like that before, I’d rather shut my mouth when others are speaking ill of me. But now, I’ve learned to manage it by talking to them because if not, I will be like the old Bobbie who kept grudges in her heart.

That’s my movie review for this amazing movie! If you haven’t seen it, I recommend you should! Thank you so much dears!

“Friended! (With The Casagrandes)” - Episode Review

Here we are, the opener of season 4! And in a change of pace, the Louds themselves are not the spotlight. How did the latest episode featuring Ronnie Anne and her extended family fare? Let’s take a look..

First of all, the intro.. a shorted traditional intro then Ronnie Anne takes over..a nice way to show this episode is different than the rest. The intro was fun with each member of the Casagrandes highlighted in a different color. Will be interesting to see if the remainder of the opening arc uses this. 

The title card was different as well..maybe a hint at what the rest of the arc episodes cards will look like (as well as the spinoff) 

Anyways, on with the episode itself..

Aww, Ronnie Anne looks so cute sleeping like that..until Lalo wakes her up...hehe. Great to see her family at breakfast. Also we find out the Rosa is the building manager which is a nice touch. Was fun to see Ronnie Anne’s interactions with her family (like CJ with his hammer/screwdriver, her mom Maria with her talking about her nursing job which gets stopped by Carlota before she can go into too much detail...hehe.. then Bobby getting ready for his job at the Mercado and having to rush out the door along with Carl). I loved that RA was on top of everything, making sure things were all set with the family before heading out.

Loved the scene with her talking to Lincoln over the phone, especially her seeing a guy with white hair and mistaking him for Lincoln and then Lincoln almost getting trampled by his sisters. Nice way to add him into the episode. 

Sid’s introduction was so fun. Got a good laugh out of her trying (and failing) perform a skating trick. Not to mention a nice save by RA. Just love Sid’s enthusiasm..she is gonna be such a fun character. 

Glad that we got to find out about RA and Bobby’s dad and that she’s ok with the whole situation. Not to mention our first look at Sid’s family. 

I liked the transitions in this episode with the big city shots..definitely a nice touch. 

Loved the excitement that the two had when they found out they may become neighbors in the apartment. 

I loved that Bobby, Carlota, Carl and CJ wanted the new family to move in as well. And bobby was acting sweet as always. The plan was so very fun. I loved how everybody worked together to stop the other potential tenants and kept Rosa busy. Carl’s antics in particular were my favorite, not to mention RA and Carlota trying to hide from Carl Sr and Carlitos in the library. Everything seems to be going well..until we find out about one more potential tenant. Looks like it’s time for plan b. 

The second plan is especially fun. Sid and her bird calls were especially fun..hehe. Was so cute seeing Sid get excited over her potential new home..especially finding out her bedroom could be right above Ronnie Anne’s. I got a good laugh out of Carlota and Carl each distracting Rosa in their own way..poor Carl..hehe..taking one for the team. Ronnie Anne showing off the ‘ruined’ apartment was pretty fun too, especially that Lincoln like grin at the end. 

I loved the Ronnie Anne took responsibility when the building owner was going to fire Rosa. Was very mature of her. Was sweet seeing her fix it (with a little help from Sergio). I thought it was sweet that the building owner let Sid’s family have the apartment. So glad we’ll be seeing more of her and her family. 

This episode was just so much fun. Ronnie Anne is really growing on me. I loved her interactions with her family and the plan was especially fun. I just adored Sid..her enthusiasm is just so sweet and I love how her and Ronnie Anne get along. If this is how this episode went, I have high hopes for not only the rest of the opening arc but also the spinoff series as well. :) I think this is my favorite episode featuring this family so far. A wonderful way to start the new season.

Dark curse season three episode titles

The Cult of Alice. Now that she’s got control of the Vorpal sword, Dizzy is the figurehead of a cult dedicated to Alice Liddell. Alice herself (Catherine Zeta-Jones) teaches her the history of the cult. Needless to say Devie doesn’t take to kindly to it. But dizzy shoots them down asking how different or more dangerous could it be than being the queen of witches (Evie) or the saviour (Doug). The flashbacks take place five months ago when Hadie lands in Arendelle and seeks out the help of queen Eloise, Elsa’s niece, (Liz Gillies) in taking his father and brother down

The Lord of Hell. Harry ends up in the fields of Asphodel after his demise. He wills himself to Persephone’s palace and demands his spot on the throne. Hadie’s immortality was stripped by hades and given to Harry making the first mate his mother’s heir. Therefore. Harry is the rightful lot of hell (hence the title). Persephone can do nothing but reluctantly let him sit on the throne. Flashback. Rene (Stefanie Scott) faces her mother Rosemary (Jennifer Morrison) for the first time in years

The tinkers. Tinker bell centered. She (Leven Rambin) finally meets Terence (Lucas Till) for the first time since the curse happened. Both present day Auradon and the flashbacks cover their story. At the end of the episode just before the smoke engulfs him Terence tells her to “keep the boy safe”. The boy in question is Peter Pan. Who is currently in care because of Uma’s old revenge plan

The Lost Boys. This episode recounts Peter Pan’s history before the curse. No Wendy here though. It’s mostly his run ins with hook and his adventures with Harriet Harry and Cj (who here take the place of Wendy John and Michael) each time he and the Captain fight one more of the Hook siblings join their fathers side until only Harry is left. And eventually even he leaves Neverland with Uma

Hellfire. Harry’s return to Auradon. With his sister stepmother and Charon in tow. He’s pleasantly surprised to find that Hadie is nowhere to be found. But he’s heartbroken to see that Uma is now friends with Mal

The return. Hadie comes back to Auradon with Eloise (Liz Gillies) who offers her help in taking out Wilhelmina (Victoria Justice) and Rosemary (Jennifer Morrison). The ice queen and the white tyrant immediately dislike each other. Wilhelmina sees her as weak and ineffectual. Eloise sees her as needlessly bitchy and cranky. Rosemary tries to diffuse the tension (read: tries to kill Eloise) but the ice queen escapes. Meanwhile Hadie and Harry duke it out to the tune of this is Halloween by Marilyn Manson

The nanny. Uma makes Mal and Ben reprimand Hadie. So now he’s the nanny for all children in Auradon. Dizzy Squeaky Squirmy and Nimue (Millie Bobby Brown). In flashbacks Hadie first meets Harry and Mal. By discovering the reason hades left him and his mother Danae (Anne Hathaway)

The dwarven vanguard. Doug and his cousins are the focus of this episode. Auradon parts have Sadie’s wedding to CJ Hook. The flashbacks focus on Doug’s attempt to plan his own wedding to Evie over a decade ago in la bete.

Poor sweet child. Peter Pan (Jacob Tremblay) is still in care. He can feel himself aging with every passing day and he hates it. The flashbacks follow how James lost his hand.

Cousins. This episode follows the childhood of Rene (Stefanie Scott) and Wilhelmina (Victoria Justice). Their mothers are constantly at odds with Rosemary (Jennifer Morrison) threatening to expose Willow’s (Lana Parrilla) affair with the mad hatter. Which resulted in Taran Hightopp (Charlie Rowe)

Celia. Uma’s half sister (via Facillier) arrives having used a hatters hat to dimension hop into our world. This reveal sends Jane off on a tirade demanding to know if anyone else has secret siblings who could cause trouble. Celia has a way to defeat Wilhelmina. But it’ll take the combined powers of Hadie Harry and Mal to do so. Mid season finale

Tarot. This mostly focuses on Celia bonding with Dizzy the twins and Nimue. When she’s not sending the adults into a panic with her voodoo fortune telling

Arachne. A “what do they fear” episode for Harry. Turns out one of the undead he releases for his underworld army was Arachne the spider goddess. And she’s pissed off at being disturbed from her eternity of boredom. In flashback it’s shown why Harry’s scared of spiders. The boo box, how James punished him, was filled with spiders (non venomous) but the enclosed space and the sheer number of them scarred him for life

Nottingham. This focuses on Silas of Nottingham (David Mazouz). In Auradon he’s interrogated for information by Ben Evie and Carlos. In flashback his father (David Harbour) teaches him that only the gentry are worth his time. If they’re poor. Make sure they know they don’t matter. Then the sheriff loses his life in a duel to Robin Hood (Ben Barnes). And Silas vows revenge

Family. Celia trains Mal Hadie and Harry to work together to defeat Wilhelmina. Hadie’s necromancy. Harry’s pyromania. Mal’s chlorokinesis. Celia notes that if all else fails Mal can always send Wilhelmina into a death sleep. In flashback Celia learns voodoo at her fathers knee. He promised her that when the time came she would be the new dark one. Keep it in the family so to speak.

Wilhelmina. Death in the limelight for the white tyrant. Flashbacks show her drawn to her aunts vileness. Her death sees her wrapped in thorny vines (Mal) dunked in Lethe and Cocytus water (Harry) and finally dragged down to hell my zombies (Hadie).

Blood for blood. Rosemary vows revenge on the children of hades for doing away with Wilhelmina. By targeting the two things they all care about. The Smee twins. Flashbacks show how gilumarry adopted the twins

Safe house. Evie’s on babysitting duty. Squeaky and Squirmy just want to know why their mother is crying all the time. And why their papa is angry at uncle Hadie and aunt Mal. Meanwhile Ben tries to play mediator between his wife and her brothers. Rosemary has gone full on child catcher in her attempts to get the twins. The episode ends with Hadie yet again crossing the line where Harry’s concerned. And he wakes up in his fathers palace with his teeth kicked in

Imprisoned. Two hander this time. No flashbacks. Just Harry torturing his older brother they also get in a good talk. That goes absolutely nowhere because they’re both stubborn mules. It ends with Harry getting a panicked call from Uma saying the twins beds are empty

Showdown. Carlos has had enough of being on the sidelines. He knows his pack was brought over in the curse cause he can hear the midnight bark. So he assembles them. And assures Uma they’ll get the twins back. He personally carries them out of the warehouse on his back before his subjects tear Rosemary limb from limb. When asked why he saved them by Uma he replies that they’re his nephews as well. Flashbacks take place just after Smee’s death and just before Harry’s decision to take the twins in

Break the slumber. Hades reveals that one of Mal’s longest running spells is coming to an end. Adam is awake in la bete. And he’s pissed. The flashbacks show how belle and Adam reacted to Ben becoming the dark one. It’s not pretty

Home again. Bal leave Auradon to face Adam (Guy Pearce). He’s still in his castle. Obsessing over plans to as he puts it “make the worlds safe for mortals all over”. He plans to round up every single magical creature good and bad. And place them on an island of his own creation. Cut off from food. From magic. From basic human decency. Until only regular humans are left. Ben points out the absurdity of this plan of course. But his father is too far gone. In th morning Ben finds the dagger gone and Mal wrapped in iron chains with her wings slashed. Adam’s gone to Auradon. And he’s putting his plan into affect

two thousand eighteen:

the year i spent very little time sharing stories + happenings in my life, so i felt a recap was needed to record what went on in my life this year.

january + february were pretty uneventful: managing at the postcard inn + a quick trip home to see everyone. i knew i wanted to leave my job, so i began looking for something different.

march brought a yankees baseball training game with my girls telia + taryn, st. patty’s day guinness’ around downtown tampa with my friend jen, celebrating my dad’s birthday, and countless gorgeous sunsets on the beach.

rhyan came to visit the beginning of april for easter, we crashed our bicycles coming over the bridge one night, went on a boat ride with d+b. friends from nc visited clearwater, so a day was spent on the beach catching up over tropical drinks. we sent a dear friend off to the coast guard, and celebrated another’s birthday with a good ‘ol cookout at the pool. we had the green thumb festival + rhyan went to his junior prom. i also began a new sales job with a scrubs/uniform company, working from their office in tampa part time + from home.

may began with the most epic sailing day with friends, my best friend meredith came to town for a work trip, i went to a really cool bonsai workshop, and flew back to nc for meredith’s birthday weekend. it was also my little cousin’s birthday, so i was able to see all my extended family while there - which was so nice. i started going to a great church in tampa, got involved with the sea turtle trackers + spotted my first turtle nest early one morning!

june brought my dear friend jason + his boyfriend to town for a few days, which were spent on the beach + showing them around the area. this was the month i really began to plug into my new church, which i had searched almost a year for before finding.

july was my birthday month; we had many outreaches around st. pete spreading the word about our new church location in the area. i celebrated my 37th year with another fun margarita wars event, as well as the best mexican dinner with my florida bestie, taryn.

august was a hot month, where i checked out my first rowdies soccer game with the church crew + rhyan came to visit for ten days before starting his senior year. we had such a great time together, he took the car/bike/skateboard all over the place exploring. we went up to weeki wachi springs one afternoon, always a treat.

we launched our st. pete church location in september, which was a huge success! september also brought us red tide, killing millions of marine life. the stench/scenery was unbearable for the following to months.

i flew to boston the first week of october for my good friends cody + heath’s wedding. got to spend time with my pregnant sister emma + her hubby cj, which was much needed. the wedding was beautiful, as were the views around boston. i returned home to hurricane michael threatening our coast + making landfall as a category 4 in the panhandle. quickly started gathering supplies, assembled a team from church, and headed up to the hardest hit areas to help. it was a life changing trip, one that i am so thankful to have been part of. i also picked up a part time serving job at a well known local spot, which was a huge blessing. great atmosphere, awesome crew to work with, and really nice regulars.

november we celebrated bobbi’s birthday, treasure island hosted its annual sanding ovations event on the beach, i flew home to be with rhyan + the family for thanksgiving. we drove up to virginia to continue our tradition of turkey day with my brother sam + his family, which was great. the weather was perfect, there were still pretty leaves on the trees, and i had a mix of family + friend time over the week i was home. my sister emma had their baby the day after thanksgiving, her name is ivy + she is absolute perfection. they eliminated my sales position at the scrubs place, so i covered all the extra shifts i could at my serving job to stay afloat.

and here we are at december! we had our work christmas party, which was a blast. i was hired at another local spot, but decided it wasn’t a good fit + am holding out for more shifts in the new year at my current job since i enjoy it so much there. my sister marta + her hubby jt came down for a visit, always nice to spend time with them. we had our church christmas party this week + i head home for another week over christmas. rhyan turns 18 in a week, which seems surreal.

this year has been a challenging one work-wise. i’m stepping away from sales to get things in order to go back to school next year, in the physical therapy assistant program at a local college. i’ll continue working at my current job so i keep a flexible schedule, but am excited to see where it takes me. rhyan graduates this spring, he’s undecided as to what he’ll be doing after that .. so i have a feeling 2019 is going to be an exciting one, filled with big changes that we’ll both embrace fully.

Loud House Highlight Time - When Ronnie (Anne) Met Lincy, #5: The Loudest Mission [Or just 'Relative Chaos' if you're in the UK]

With 'City Slickers' coming tomorrow, I've decided to do daily highlights of the Ronniecoln episodes, as a build-up to whatever surprises await us. Part V: Ronniecoln - The Special! Plus there's time to make history once again!

*Lori kicking things off by calling Ronnie Anne Lincoln's 'girlfriend'.

*A tearful scene for the Lobby shippers as Lori and Bobby say goodbye to each other, complete with Lincoln and Ronnie Anne looking at them in a way that harkens back to 'Save the Date'. After this episode, it won't be until 'Selfie Improvement' that Bobby physically returns to his Babe!

*The Casagrandes! This marks their first appearance together, and as the promos for 'City Slickers' and the upcoming comic books indicate, it definitely won't be their last! Favourite family members from me include walking encyclopedia Carlos, snapshot supremo Frida, almost-reticent mimicker Carlitos, cooking legend Rosa, and last but by no means least...

*...CJ Casagrande. Like Howard & Harold and Luna & Sam before him (immediately before him in the latter two's case), CJ makes animation history right from his first appearance cosplaying a superhero: not only is he the first ever Nicktoon with Down Syndrome, but he's also the second animated character EVER with that disability (being beaten to the punch by Irish cartoon character Punky, who appeared 6 years prior*), and as such the news went to town over him, spoiling him like rotten, even though the staff members treat him like part of the family here.

*Carlota's thrift store purchases resembling something out of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure.

*Everyone watching The Dream Boat. Highlighted because CJ's scenes in this episode are oozing with wholesomeness and so I'm placing them all here in this bullet-point to save space.

Highlighted because it will later be revealed in 'Selfie Improvement' that it's a three hour drive to where Ronnie Anne's family live, making this scene feel like Lori reaches the place in three MINUTES! So she’s driving near the speed of light, then! :P And unlike 'Pulp Friction', Vanzilla doesn't break down here despite being pushed to such speeds, which shows how much of a good mechanic Lana is! :P

*Rosa's chocolate cake. Hey, I'm a chocoholic, so sue me!

*Carlitos wearing a paper decoration around his head, no doubt mimicking a lion at this point. You see, you never quite know what’s he going to do! He’s so spontaneous.

*Lincoln and Ronnie Anne insisting (at the same time) that they're absolutely, definitely, totally NOT in love with each other!

On April 1st, 2012, Bobby Petrino took that fateful motorcycle ride. Following the crash, his affair was revealed and on April 10th he was fired. In four years under Petrino, Arkansas went 34-17 overall and 17-15 in the SEC with two trips to NY6 bowls. Since Petrino’s ouster, Arkansas has gone 37-62 and 13-51 in conference play. Three times the Hogs have gone winless in the SEC and only once have they put together a winning conference record.

It ain’t been fun to be an Arkansas fan for awhile now.

Under new Auburn offensive coordinator Chad Morris the program cratered. In one and three quarter seasons as the Hogs head coach Morris won only 4 games, none against a Power 5 team. The last time they accomplished that feat was a victory over Ole Miss in 2017 in late October. It’s been awhile.

But hope has been renewed in Fayettville. Arkansas elected to make the biggest gamble hire of the offseason stealing away the nation’s best OL coach from UGA in Sam Pittman and naming him head man. I am skeptical of the move but Pittman is an outstanding recruiter and put together a solid staff hiring Kendal Briles as OC and Barry Odom as DC. The bar he needs to clear is also pretty low, just win an SEC game or two.

To do so, Arkansas needs MUCH better quarterback play. Morris played roulette at the position in two seasons unable to find anyone competent. In fact, the last time Arkansas had a QB start every game was in 2016 when Austin Allen was the man in charge. That looks likely to change in 2020 though as the Hogs signed former Florida Gator Feleipe Franks this past offseason.

Franks is a bit of a wildcard. He has some tremendous moments before quickly following with a very boneheaded decision. He was improving though under Dan Mullen. After a solid 2018 season, Franks started the 2019 campaign strong completing 76% of his passes and throwing for almost 700 yds. But an injury sidelined him for the year and he lost his job to Kyle Trask. Now he’s the trigger man for the Hogs and is unquestionably the most talented player at that position for Arkansas since Tyler Wilson.

Morris didn’t leave the offensive skill cupboard bar for Franks and Kendal Briles. Rakeem Boyd had a breakout junior season in 2019 and elected to return for his senior year. A thousand yard rusher, Boyd is a load coming out of the backfield at 215 lbs and should see more creases under Briles spread style of offense.

Out wide, Arkansas’s three top receivers return. Both Treylon Burks and Trey Knox were former blue chip recruits who had strong freshman debuts and look poised for big sophomore seasons in 2020. Woods is Arkansas’s leading returning receiver following a 400+ yard sophomore season. This trio along with Boyd give Franks plenty of weapons this fall. Morris did a lot wrong at Arkansas, recruiting offensive skill talent was not one of them.

Where I expect Pittman to have the biggest impact for Arkansas is up front. An elite OL coach and recruiter, Pittman was the man behind those behemoth lines of Brett Bielema and was almost unbeatable on the trail for the Dawgs. It will take some time but don’t be surprised if the Hogs are once again fielding good offensive lines. I am just not sure that happens in 2020.

Arkansas lost some talented players off that 2019 defense. Two were drafted in 3rd round pick defensive tackle McTelvin Agim and 7th round selection safety Kamren Curl. Leading tackler De’Jon Harris is gone as well along with pass rusher Jamario Bell. Odom has some serious rebuilding to do on this side of the ball.

The good news is he does return rising star Bumper Pool. The former blue chip prospect had an outstanding sophomore season tallying over 90 tackles with 6.5 going for a loss. Both were good for 2nd and 3rd on the team respectively. He has some help on the backend as well with former AU target Joe Foucha returning. I was a big fan of the Louisiana native coming out of high school and he’s blossoming into a top end SEC safety in Fayetteville. But there are a lot of holes elsewhere on the defense heading into 2020, especially on the defensive line.

Arkansas is going to be bad again in 2020. It’s hard to see otherwise. But the room for improvement is so large that Pittman doesn’t need to accomplish a lot to get Hog fans excited for the future. If Arkansas can steal a single SEC victory and put together 4+ wins, that would be a successful debut for Pittman. The sexy hires rarely pay off these days so maybe it’s Arkansas that ends up making the best hire of this offseason. All I know is Pittman better have his boys ready when they come to Jordan-Hare this fall because you know Gus and Chad are going to look to pile on as many points as possible. My guess is it won’t be a fun November afternoon for Arkansas, something that has become pretty common these days for Hog fans.
