sunwoo has been complaining about your current predicament for the past thirty minutes he's been piggybacking you home, but to be fair, it's not exactly your fault alone this time.

"hey! should i remind you how you were the one who distracted me this time? if you hadn't given me a kiss while we were walking, i would've paid attention to the road and not tripped!"

despite not being able to see it, you can feel the smirk find its way onto his face. you should've known better than to openly admit the effect sunwoo has on you because he'll never give it up.

"so, i make you that flustered?" he teases, and you bury your face into his shoulder, face too aflame to handle.

"calm down, mister egotistical, you're not all that. we're almost there anyway, you can let me down."

true to your word, the dim yellow streetlights provide just enough visibility for your apartment to come into view. it's a path you walk often with sunwoo, even more often with your legs wrapped around his waist due to your clumsy antics, but this time sunwoo merely tightens his hands around your thighs, holding you tighter.

"are you sure that's your apartment building? i think we have to walk a little further."

"would i not know my own home, sunwoo?"

"okay, but it's not as late as usual. we're ten minutes too early, i'm sure we have to walk at least a little more—"

sunwoo stops when he turns to see the grin on your face.

"why are you smiling? i'm trying to help you out, and you think it's funny?"

"if you wanted to spend a little more time with me, you could've just said so. besides, i thought you didn't like how piggybacking me was becoming more frequent, did you?"

now it's your turn to tease him, and sunwoo grumbles, turning his face back around so you can't see his expression. luckily you know him well enough to sense the pout on his face, and you stop bothering him for a little bit, wrapping your arms around his neck and resting your head for comfort.

"it's okay, sunwoo. i like spending time with you. next time we'll stay out a little longer, just enough for the both of us."

"deal, as long as you don't trip again. my arms are starting to hurt."
