So... because I finished going over my editor notes for my upcoming release, I've decided to give myself an early Christmas present and that means I bought Stardew Valley after thinking about doing it for the past 4 years.

Now... should I play it or should I continue working on getting this blog organised? I won't write today because I've been feeling pretty miserable with my writing (I'm just tired, that's why) so I plan on having a relaxing evening!

You and Nika used to be inseparable. You guys met back in second grade when you had first moved to Croatia and she came up to you first. As time progressed, you guys both got into basketball and, before you both knew it you guys had full scholarships to UConn to play basketball. Unfortunately, during the midst of that, you guys both started slowly drifting apart and you broke down each night wondering why.

Junior Year of College

“Happy Birthday Niks, hope we can talk more in the future. Hope you have the best day, wish you nothing but the best.” your read the text over and over again before you sent it. Although you guys play basketball together, you had suffered a season-ending injury during the first game of the season.

“I just wish we could talk more, you know?” You told Paige as you looked down. You had felt bad, you spent most of your time wondering why Nika changed. Was it you? Was it something you had done or said? Those were the questions that kept you up at night. “I’ll talk to her for you. I’m sorry you are going through this.” Paige said as she pulled out her phone to text Nika.

That night, you stayed up thinking about all the times Nika made you feel bad and how she still was.

#1 - You and Nika went to a house party, and Nika left you out the entire time. Barely talking to you, and at the end of the night didn’t tell you that she was leaving ultimately leaving you to have to call an Uber.

#2 - Nika liking photos , tweets and videos mocking your ACL tear , even reposting one onto her public story. Fans were quick to assume there was something going on between you two, but you were nothing but positive to her. You didn’t even know yourself what was going on.

#3 - Nika drunk texting you after you spoke on what happened, calling you a bitch and a attention-seeking whore. You knew she probably didn’t mean it but it still hurt you. Drunk sayings are usually sober thoughts.

#4 - Nika liking comments under your post talking bad about you. You tried reaching out to her multiple times with the result of, no answer.

#5 - You posted Nika every year for her birthday but in the 14 years you had known each other, she never once had posted you. You wondered what you did to her and didn’t know why she was doing this.

#6 - In the course of a year, all the things that Nika did took a toll on your mental health. You experienced suicidal thoughts and never opened up to anyone about it. Ultimately leading up to you trying to take your life, but getting talked out of it by Paige and Azzi.

Senior Year of College

You and Nika were back on talking terms, becoming inseparable once again. The thoughts never left your head about what Nika had made you experience. You decided to open up to Nika about everything. “Hey niks, can we talk?” You said leaning in the doorway of her room in your shared dorm. “Yeah what’s up?” she says look down at her phone. You then went on to tell her everything, you felt yourself tear up a little while telling her. “i’m so sorry.” Nika said as she consoled you while you cried. She didn’t realize what she had done but she was willing to overcome it.

Pretty simple.

Distinguished taste for an equally distinguished gentleman.

I don’t know why, but he just does.

I can also see him using one of those grandpa wallet cases where he carries everything inside.

His phone case doubles as a purse with the bits and bobs he puts in there.

It’s literally a fanny pack that just happens to have space to hold a phone.

Need a napkin? Hold on, let him get it from his phone case real quick.

It’s really handy but a little ridiculous with the amount of stuff he carries in there.

The battery life is hammered thanks to the hours of temple run his siblings play on it whenever he goes home for holidays.

His wallpaper is probably a picture of his siblings, which is cute.

We’ve already seen his phone multiple times in game, so I don’t think I have much to say.

His wallpaper is bold, like the phone case he uses.

It’s not exactly ugly, but it definitely suits him.

It’s just not something most people would want to put on their phones.

He’s 100% an iPhone user but he’s the type that gets the new model that comes out every year.

Either that or he’s using one of his sister’s hand-me-downs that’s an iPhone 13. (just like me fr).

I can see him using a Samsung S24 Ultra.

He barely uses it, though.

Most of the time, he tosses the phone at his nephew to keep him distracted when he sees him at home.

Because of that, he’s got a home screen full of kids' mobile games like Talking Tom and Subway Surfers.

The phone’s got a small crack in the screen from when Cheka dropped it but it wasn’t a big deal so Leona never bothered to get it fixed or replaced.

He’s got a leopard print phone case and his wallpaper is a selfie Reggie took with him sleeping and set it on his lock screen that he never bothered to change.

It’s an older model, like an S10+.

It’s a gift from Leona that he tossed at Ruggie one day.

Ruggie is pretty grateful for it since he was wondering how he’d contact his grandmother back at home without a phone since he wouldn’t be able to get a durable one until a while of saving up.

He takes pretty good care of it and there’s no scratches or cracks.

His wallpaper matches the selfie of himself and Leona that he set as the latter’s lock screen.

He got himself a heavy-duty phone case just to make sure it doesn’t get damaged.

He’s an iPhone user, probably sporting an iPhone 12 Pro Max. You can’t blame him for needing a large phone when he’s got pretty big hands.

He uses a clear case that’s somehow got no yellowing to it and his phone is green. It’s got a pretty wrecked battery life thanks to the younger sibling x phone syndrome.

His little sister killed the battery life with her 500 cumulative hours on Roblox and Among Us.

He doesn’t really mind since he doesn’t use his phone more than like 4 times a day.

He’s one of those people who thinks iPhones are a scam and refuses to buy into it, like the classy businessman he is.

(he just has no idea how to use one).

Idk if Merfolk have waterproof phones or just communicate with echolocation but let’s pretend that the fish people have phones too.

He sports a Samsung Z Flip5 in lavender. He also has a baby blue phone case with a little seashell on it.

The twins tease him about his cutesy design choice but he shrugs it off since he knows it looks good.

It’s a shame he rarely uses the phone when he’s not going to send emails, do schoolwork and post on the lounge’s social media, though.

He also watches food ASMR videos. His wallpaper is a picture of the sea in the usual daytime lighting.

Another Android Avenger using a Samsung S22 in sage green.

His phone is in pretty good condition.

Though, he’s got a few spots of soil trapped between his screen protector and the end of his phone case.

There’s only like a single, tiny crack on his screen protector for dropping it on the floor face first when in the Botanical Garden talking to his little plants.

Can’t really blame him since he looks up tutorials when handling new spores. His phone case is transparent with (you guessed it) a pattern of little mushrooms littered on the back.

His wallpaper is a pic of him and Floyd when they were in their first year at NRC. It’s a strangely cute phone for someone as shady as Jade.

He’s someone who takes really good care of his stuff and has a bunch of screen protectors since he knows how prone he is to dropping and accidentally throwing his phone.

His battery is fried tho since he’s notorious for playing a bunch of those silly mobile games like Fill the Fridge or Crowd City.

When he isn’t tormenting people with his deadly hugs, he’s sat perched in a corner gargoyle style with his eyes glazed over as he plays Block Blast with a score of 10,000.

Floyd’s pretty diverse with his phone case and he changes it depending on how he feels that day. Most of the time, he goes for his pale green one with an eel drawing on it, like the bag he used during the Camp Vargas event.

His wallpaper is either matching with Jade’s or a random photo of the sea he took a few days ago.

Gets the newly released iPhone every year.

He’s not that bad though, since he gives his old one to his sibling and they pass it on to the next sibling like One For All.

His phone has no cracks on it too. He makes sure to take good care of it since he knows it’s gonna be his younger sibling’s phone in about a year and he doesn’t want them to have to use a broken phone.

He’s just nice like that. His phone case is orange with little peach circles dotted all around the back.

He’s another notorious mobile gamer with his number 1 game being Where’s My Water. His lock screen is a particularly nice-looking spread from one of the many parties he’s had over at his dorm.

As per sibling rules, however, he always makes sure to change his second lock screen any time he goes home.

She can’t know that he cares that much.

His phone has no cracks and he hates greasy screens so best believe he’s got a glass cleaner wipe tucked into his pocket everywhere he goes.

When Vil takes away Epel’s phone, I imagine Rook allows Epel to use his phone to play Subway Surfers or Roblox.

Lives risky life and doesn’t use a case or a screen protector.

His phone somehow isn’t shattered especially after the billion times it’s fallen to the ground at the speed of light when he watches people from trees.

Been using the same phone since he was 12 and refuses to let it go.

Anytime he falls, the phone disassembles and his battery goes flying.

Sometimes he stays up until 3 am playing COD mobile with Deuce and hides his phone under his pillow every time Vil opens his door to make sure the first years are asleep.

His wallpaper is a really cute selfie with him and the rest of the first year group. No phone case.

Ever since he left Japan to work in Portugal and got married there, (Y/n) only saw him during the holidays. They were pretty close growing up and it stayed that way to this day. So the 2 weeks break she got from the Bastard München team she used to fly out to Lisbon and spend her time with her brother, sister-in-law and her little nephew. 'I need to tell my manager to cancel those interviews for today.' Sae thought as he took his phone out.

'He is really good with kids and always so relaxed.' (Y/n) thought, smiling a little.

"I have unbelievable news! No sir, this is for the headliners!" The man who interviewed Sae just mere minutes ago said as he saw the interaction between the football player, (Y/n) and Marc.

"Yes, it's about THE Sae Itoshi. Listen, I will bring you the pictures and you will see what I mean." The man said, quickly following after them.

"Giraffes! Look!" Marc yelled excitedly as Sae lifted him up to get a better look at the animal. (Y/n) smiled and took a picture of the two, making sure the animal was in it too.

"They are really cute, Marc. There is even a baby over there." (Y/n) pointed excitedly as the boy turned to look at it.

"You want to take another picture?" Sae asked as (Y/n) shook her head.

"You probably had enough of that for the day-"

"I don't mind. Just take a picture." Sae said gently and she thought over it for a moment.

"Don't think too much about it, I am fine with you taking pictures."

"A-alright." (Y/n) answered, flustered with how he worded it. She took the picture and Sae put Marc down and she approached them.

"Do you want to see the lions next?" (Y/n) asked Marc and he nodded his head, grabbing the girl's hand.

"Let's go!"

Chuckling Sae followed after them, neither noticing the same reporter taking pictures of them. But aside from the reporter, a few football fans recognized Sae from the distance. Both shocked at the sight of the player with a redhaired kid and the Bastard München manager.

"Are they dating?"

"They could be married too. Look at the kid." The boy said to his friend, who inspected Marc's hair.

"Oh shit! It looks eerily similar to Sae's..."

"Maybe that dating rumor from a year ago had some truth to it..." The two said in sync.

"So, where do you want to go and eat?" Sae asked as they left the zoo while he held one of Marc's hand and (Y/n) held the other.

"I think there is a nice restaurant nearby, based on my research. They also have a cute playground for kids." Marc's eyes lightened up at that and Sae nodded his head.

"Did you have a weird feeling that we are being watched?" (Y/n) asked as Sae looked around in confusion, shaking his head.

"Not really. But enough of that, did you think about the offer?" (Y/n)'s breath hitched and she looked at Sae, who was sporting a serious expression.

"About that... I don't know..."

Sae sighed and nodded his head.

"Alright."

'I will wait, even if it takes years.'

"Say, I will be leaving for Madrid tomorrow evening. Want to meet up for breakfast?" Sae asked as (Y/n) thought the offer over and nodded her head.

"Sure. The hotel I am staying has a restaurant, the food is pretty good, we can meet up there." She suggested. The older Itoshi said nothing as he nodded his head, satisfied with how the day was ending.

The next day Sae arrived at the said hotel and immediately felt like something was off. Everyone at the reception was looking at him oddly and were whispering when (Y/n) joined him. While both were used to those things, due to their club connections, this was pretty off.

"Am I wearing my clothes the wrong way?" (Y/n) asked Sae as they waited for their meal. Sae took a sip from his coffee and shook his head.

"No, but it is weird how many people are looking at us..."

Just then, a waitress approached the two, clearly nervous as she held onto her phone.

"E-Excuse me..." She said.

"Yes?" (Y/n) said calmly, nudging Sae who still held his stoic look.

"Can... we were asked to take a picture of you two? It's not really everyday we have guests of your status here."

"Our status?" (Y/n) raised her eyebrow.

"Sure, but please make it quick." Sae sighed as the waitress quickly nodded her head and snapped 2 pictures.

"Thank you so much, Mr. and Mrs. Itoshi. By the way, you son is really adorable." The girl said as (Y/n) spat out her drink back into the cup. Flabbergasted, Sae watched the girl walk off and both were left to look at each other weirdly.

"What was that about?" Sae wondered as (Y/n)'s phone rang. Recovering from her shock she took the phone and looked down at the display.

'Ness? Why is he calling?' (Y/n) thought as she took the call.

"H-hello-"

"Where is he?! Where is the bastard unable to use a condom?!" Kaiser's loud yelling boomed through the phone and (Y/n) flinched a little.

"What? Who? And why are you using Ness' phone, Kaiser? Where is he?" Sae furrowed his eyebrows as he observed the scene.

"Ness is currently passed out thanks to your beloved hubby." Kasier growled.

"Hubby? Who? I didn't even have a boyfriend yet-"

"Ja ja, now where is he?"

"Who?"

Kaiser sighed from the other side and tried to speak up more calmly.

"Sae Itoshi, where is he?"

"Sae-san? He is here-"

"Give him the phone. And you will have a talk with the PR team for this once you come back."

"About what?" (Y/n)'s eyes widened and she nervously looked at Sae.

"You secretly marrying Sae and him not being able to control himself. Or better yet, wear a condom. The news about you two having a lovey-dovey time with your son yesterday is all over Germany." (Y/n) chocked on her spit and Sae got up from his seat to check on her.

"Are you alright? Give me the phone?" The redhead said.

"Kaiser, that was my nephew-"

"Is that Itoshi?! Give him to me!"

(Y/n) let out a groan as Sae took the phone from her and she put her head in her hands.

"Everything will be alright. Calm down." Sae said calmly as he kept on ignoring Kaiser's yelling.

Bastard München...

"Why is Kaiser yelling on the phone? And what even happened to Ness?" Isagi asked Noel, who was on the phone texting someone.

"Yukimiya, come help me lift him up." Kunigami called the brunette over.

"Kaiser is yelling at Sae right now and Ness passed out when we got a call from our PR team."

"What even happened? It can't be bad enough for Ness to pass out." Hiori comments as Kurona stared at Kaiser, who was switching from English to German.

"And what does Sae have to do with this?"

"Apparently Sae and (Y/n) are married and have a kid. A reporter in Portugal caught them yesterday." Noel explained as he showed Isagi an article. Kunigami and Yukimiya froze in their spots, causing Ness to fall on the ground again.

"What?!" The two exclaimed as Isagi went to grab Kaiser's phone and talk with Sae himself. Hiori and Kurona had completely opposite reactions. Kurona went completely numb while Hiori went to throw up in a nearby trash can.

"What's with all this yelling?" Gagamaru raised his eyebrow while walking into the locker room.

"Now... I know you two are mad..."  Lavinho said from the other side of the locked door, flinching as Otoya tried to kick it open again.

"We are not mad~" Bachira answered and Lavinho rolled his eyes.

"Listen, shit happens. So what if Sae married (Y/n) and they have a kid together-"

Lavinho cut himself off as Otoya kicked the door harder.

"At least he took responsibility-"

"He should have stayed away, simple." Otoya said back in malice, and Lavinho could only imagine the expression he had on his face.

"Don't even finish that sentence! We are grieving!" Aryu said, now crying along with Niko. Snuffy rolled his eyes as Lorenzo kept Oliver and Baro from escaping.

"We should honestly forbid you 4 from leaving Italy." The coach commented.

"He touched our manager, we are allowed to beat him up for that!" Baro argued.

"Well, he didn't do anything illegal. Sae is her husband now-"

"Lorenzo, shut the hell up! Don't say such blasphemy!" Oliver cried out as he fell on the grass field.

"I am kind of offended they didn't tell us anything. Their child looks cute tho!" Chris grinned as Chigiri cried into the table.

"I agree with you, Chigiri. You think they will invite us to their anniversary? Oh, I have so many decoration ideas."

"I rather you break my right leg. What's the point of playing anymore? What's the point of living?" Chigiri cried out.

Meanwhile in the medical room Nagi was slowly waking up from his slumber while Reo was calling someone.

"What happened? What day is it? Did we win the World Cup?" Nagi asked as he sat up. Reo looked over at his friend and shook his head.

"Today is Friday, we didn't win the World Cup yet and an article came out of (Y/n) and Sae being married and having a child." Reo explained as Nagi nodded his head.

"(Y/n) and... Sae have a... child?" The albino asked as his eyes slowly widened. Reo nodded his head and watched as Nagi fainted again.

'This is like the 3rd time...' The purple-haired boy thought.

"Hello, Reo what did you need?" A woman's voice was heard from the other side.

"Hey mom, I have a question for you."

"What is it?" The woman yawned.

"How would you feel if I married a widow with a child?" Reo asked, sounding serious as ever.

"What?!"

"Just asking, hypothetically."

"Shidou, give me my phone back!" Karasu sighed as he put his pants on, watching as the younger Itoshi chased Shidou around, who held his phone as he laughed.

'This is like kindergarten.' Karasu thought as the phone in question started ringing.

Shidou looked at the display and grinned.

"Oh! It's your mom, Rinnie!"

"Give me my phone, you imbecile!" Rin yelled as Shidou shook his head.

"Nah, this is what you get for not passing even one ball to me." The blonde sighed and answered the call, putting it on speaker.

"Are you out of your mind?!"

"What?! Rin, is that you?!" The boy bit back a groan and chose to answer as Karasu and Shidou watched the scene in amusement.

"Sorry mom, what did you need?" Rin asked.

"I need you to pick the next possible flight to Portugal!"

"Why Portugal?"

"We are going to meet your nephew and our grandson!" His mom's words nearly caused Shidou to drop the phone as all three stared at it in shock.

"Nephew?! Did Sae knock someone up?!" Rin asked as Karasu held back a gasp.

"Not someone! It turns out my baby got married without even telling us and has a child with the girl. Your father is trying to reach him but he isn't picking up."

"Married?! Who?!" Shidou yelled, quickly covering up his mouth after that.

"Who?!" Rin repeated.

"Remember your manager in Blue Lock, (L/n) (Y/n) was it? Well her! Oh! They look so adorable! And the child even has Sae's hair color!" His mom gushed as Karasu's jaw dropped along with Shidou's. Rin's body meanwhile shook with rage as he calmly took back his phone and went to take his stuff.

"Yeah... I am on my way there." Rin said as he held back a scream.

"Good! Give Sae a hug from us! We will be there as soon as possible too." With that his mom ended the call and he walked out of the locker room, leaving his two shocked teammates behind.

"I sure will... it will leave him breathless." Rin murmured, hitting a nearby wall.

Finnick Odair x reader soulmate AU

I’m going to try and update once a week but occasionally it may take a bit longer or less depending on how much I work on it since I am writing it as I go. Hope you enjoy! Chapter 2

A scream shattered the silence and my hand was up in the air before I even knew what I was doing as I uttered those four dreaded words.

“I volunteer as tribute!”

The second I said them Lysander was practically jumping in delight, a grin spread across his face as wide as can be as he proclaimed loudly.

“I believe we have a volunteer.” I stepped forward, ignoring the shocked looks Annie and Mags were throwing my way. Lysander babbled on and on for a few minutes about ‘how exciting for a victor to volunteer’, how ‘he was sure none of the other districts would have tributes’. I felt like throwing up, looking out into a sea of faces, most of them open mouthed, a few simply confused as if wondering who the hell I even was. I saw a couple of people who I used to know, refusing to meet my eyes. My ballet shoes hung by my side, a heavy weight pulling down, anchoring me to reality as my mind drifted.

I turned to Lysander and gave him a pathetic attempt at a smile, lips tilting upwards slightly, a flash of white teeth for a second. “Please,” he said, “Shake hands.”

I didn't realise what he said until Finnick stepped forward and held out his hand to me. My eyebrows furrowed and I bit my lip, twisting the sleeves of my cardigan again, holding out my other arm to hold his hand loosely before pulling it back quickly as I felt my mark burn slightly. He looked confused for a moment before his expression cleared and he put on a charming smile, waving to the crowd. As for me, I stood there silently, chewing on my lip worriedly, wondering why I volunteered, why I didn't even hesitate.

“Your tributes for the 75th annual Hunger Games!” Lysander yelled to the crowd over their obedient clapping as peacekeepers pointed guns at them, threatening to shoot. All of a sudden we were herded off stage and I was dragged to the same room I had been in all those years ago, the paint still peeling, a splintered chair and table on dusty stone. I took a few steps in and collapsed on the floor, chest heaving as I tried to take in deep breaths. I curled my hands into fists, nails cutting into the soft skin of my hands, a few tears dripping down my face but I heard heavy footsteps down the corridor and quickly composed myself, brushing away the tears and standing up, elegantly sitting down in the chair as the door opened. Mags walked in, escorted by a guard who muttered.

“Five minutes.” And closed the door behind him. Mags stared at me for a second before walking over and placing a hand on my shoulder. I looked up at her and she mouthed one word. Why?

I smiled slightly as I answered.

“She doesn't deserve to die. She needs to live and I'll do everything I can to get Finnick out and back to her.” Mags looked confused so I rolled up my sleeve and showed her my wrist. “He's my soulmate,” she blinked quickly and I continued,”And he doesn't love me but he loves her and they deserve to live.” She looked angry and somehow managed to croak out a few words.

“What about you?” I patted her hand, standing up and looking out the window.

“I don't matter, I just want him to be safe and sound. I want him to be happy, even if it's not with me.” She looked at me pityingly, brown eyes filled with emotion as she folded me into her arms; I broke down, sobbing silently into her shoulder, tears soaking the fabric. “I just can't let him die, not if I can do something about it.” I managed to get out between hiccuping sobs and sniffles. She comforted me gently, stroking my hair with wrinkled hands and all too soon it was time for her to go.

The door swung open and Mags scurried out before they could drag her away, the last thing I saw of her was her long grey hair before another person walked in and the door was slammed shut behind them. Annie stood in front of me. Long auburn hair tangled, sea green eyes gazing at me curiously. She took in my puffy eyes and red face streaked with tears saying nothing as she kneeled down and took my hands in hers.

“Why did you do that?” She asked quietly, not looking me in the eye, “Why would you give up your life?”

“We aren't so dissimilar you and I.” I spoke, removing my hands from hers and laying them on my knees. “The games,” my voice cracked,”The games left us both broken beyond belief. The difference between us is that you had someone there to build you back up after you came out. I didn't. Or I did, but they didn't care enough to stay. We've both been dropped and shattered on impact but you've been fixed, mostly, the cracks are still there and with the right push it'll all come crashing down. But me, I've got nobody and nothing left, everyone left me to crumble to pieces as if I would just be fine, but I'm not, I'm just a pile of broken glass waiting for someone to finally care and put me back together. So I volunteered. Because you have everything to lose; I’ve got nothing left.” Annie said nothing, just watched me carefully,

“I'll get Finnick out for you,” I whispered,”You don't have to worry about him. I promise.” The door opened and she was led out, throwing a last glance over her shoulder at me, a strange look in her eyes as if she knew something I didn’t.

I was left alone to my thoughts again. Wrapping the ribbons of my shoes around my hands repetitively. Wondering what it would be like this time around. Would I even have a chance at survival? I dismissed that one immediately, with victors like the ones from districts 1 and 2, plus Katniss and Peeta from last year, I wasn't getting out alive. I was good but not that good. I could throw knives perfectly, fight in hand to hand combat and tie complex knots with lengths of rope, I was even half decent at using a bow and arrow. But compared to others I was weak.

The door creaked open again but this time no one entered except some peacekeepers in their white uniforms and masks, they dragged me out, gloved hands twisting my skin. I shook my arms out of their hold and glared at them, they let me loose and marched me along the corridor to the exit where a car would be waiting. They opened the side door and pushed me in. My head knocked against the metal and I hissed in annoyance but said nothing. The car pulled away from the justice building and I stared out at it for the last time, the carved marble flawless and perfect but oh so cold. My eyes trailed over the shapes of people outside, cheering my name; screaming for the games to stop. They hadn't even known who I was before, why did they care now? Why did they care just as I was sent off to my death once again? Why did they care when all they had ever done was pretend I didn't exist?

How could they stand there and scream my name, their beloved victor, when they had never before known me? How dare they pretend to care about me. How dare they think I wanted this. How dare they congratulate me on my actions when the choice didn't even exist to begin with. In those moments I was filled with nothing but disgust for the people of my district. We were supposed to be united against the Capitol yet here they were excited for me to go back in. Granted there was the idea that if they didn't then they would be made an example of by peacekeepers for not complying with orders. But behind every forced action there is a planted seed that was simply nurtured to form the fully fledged evil.

I sighed, propping my head up on my hand as we entered the station, reporters from the Capitol waiting for the chance to get a shot of Finnick or I. We jolted to a stop and Finnick stepped calmly out of the car in front, waving to people, giving them his charming smile, playing up to his persona as the Capitol darling. I took a deep breath as he disappeared from sight, people screaming for one last look at him, and pushed down the handle to open the door. I stepped out and was immediately assaulted by loud noises, too loud. They ripped through my skull and I flinched while I walked along the pathway that was cleared for me. They screamed my name and they wouldn't stop, it echoed in my head, their voices like nails as they raked down the walls I had built up in my mind to block out the bad and keep the good close. The peacekeepers surrounded my shaking form, tiny compared to the crowds gathered; herded me to the platform where the train was waiting. Sleek and silver, like a bullet, and just as fast as one.

I stumbled over the gap where the platform ended and the train doors opened, allowing me to topple to the floor in a graceless heap. I groaned and sat up, pressing a hand to the side of my head and frowning in annoyance as I felt the slightest of bruises there. My feet slipped out of my sandals so I picked them up in one hand alongside my pointe shoes and pushed myself to a standing position leaning on the wall of the train. I took a minute to calm myself, mentally preparing for the interesting conversation that was sure to come when I walked into the next compartment. I dropped my head forwards and wiped a hand over my face before sighing and reaching out to the handle, pushing it down.

I stepped in and three sets of eyes locked on me, standing awkwardly in the doorway.

“Hi.” I cleared my throat and they resumed their conversation. I relaxed in relief and dropped into a chair at the table, immediately reaching out for a plate. I filled it with all kinds of foods, meat, pasta, vegetables and more. A luxury I couldn't bring myself to afford with the money I had won, food I tended to steer clear of because in my mind it belonged to the Capitol and eating it made me one of them. But I figured I was going to die soon so I might as well indulge while I could. I speared a piece of fish and potato and it was halfway to my mouth when I noticed eyes on me again. Lysander was giving me a look of wonder as he leaned forwards onto his hands.

“So Y/N, tell me why did you volunteer? We need to know so we can spin this story to give you the best chance of winning that we can you see.” He smiled and bit into a leg of chicken, tearing the meat away with his teeth. My mind blanked, I couldn't exactly tell him the real reason I volunteered, that would not go down well with the current company, I glanced over to Finnick and my eyes widened as our eyes connected for a split second before I snapped my gaze back to my plate. I shrugged my shoulders and shoved the food in my mouth. Lysander’s mouth twisted into a scowl at my disregard for him and Mags, seated next to him, smiled down at her plate.

I swallowed my food and sipped on water in a glass next to me before I answered his question

“I didn't want her to die.” He spluttered in delight.

“I can work with that. A story of two best friends, one worried for the other's safety so she volunteers to save her from certain death.” I shook my head at his words.

“No. We aren't friends. I just didn't think she deserved to die and that's the only story you're going to tell.”

“But, but, but,” Lysander stammered under my glare.

“But nothing,” I said calmly, “There is no story, I volunteered because I felt sorry for her, nothing more nothing less. Now if you'll excuse me,” I shoved the chair back and stood up, “I'm going to my room and I don't want to see you, until morning.” With that I stormed out of the compartment, slamming the door shut behind me, rattling the ornaments and pictures hanging on the walls. My footsteps were heavy as I almost ran along the corridor, I finally reached the door I wanted and stared at it, remembering how seven years ago I had stood in the exact same spot.

My thoughts were pretty different about being in the Hunger Games now. Back then I had had no choice so it was just an unfortunate circumstance I found myself in with the added threat of death. Now it was more of an actual game and I suppose that was the point, throw previous victors into an arena together, seasoned killers, guaranteed chaos would ensue. They'd have the perfect show, death upon death that would look interesting and be absolutely brutal because the executioners would all know what they were doing. It would be the most viewed year of the games in history. They’d be making hunters into performers, fighting to stay alive for the cameras. Doing anything to gain sponsors. It wouldn’t surprise me if some people went too far. But most of all, we’d be angry. Angry that we had to go back, they’d promised we were done and now it seemed they lied.

I pushed the door open and stepped into the room. It smelled of fresh peaches and vanilla, the white bedsheet pulled tightly across the mattress, light green comforter spread across the duvet. I gently closed the door behind me and threw my sandals on the floor. I leapt onto the bed, sinking into the mountain of pillows piled up near the headboard. A headboard engraved with swirls of waves and shells to represent district 4, I looked closer and on every wave was a set of initials and a date, the initials of every other district 4 tribute in the history of the games and the date they were reaped. A tradition upheld by every new victim. I traced over my initials on one of the waves and picked up the knife I had taken a few minutes ago, I picked a new wave and ripped into it, my initials carved as deeply as possible. A message that I was not going easy. I would go but I would fight every step of the way.

I chucked the knife down and admired my handiwork. I was no artist but if I were this would be my best piece. Rolling over I stood up and made my way to the wardrobe. Opening it I found an assortment of clothes and night dresses. I picked out a white one that fell loosely to my knees and pulled my pointe shoes on, tying the ribbons around my ankles and standing up. Humming a song, I rose onto my toes, hands lifting above my head as I twirled around, the skirt floating around me. I kicked one leg into the air, leaning to the other side and bringing my arms close to my body, curving them in. I danced for what seemed like hours, lost in a world of my own as I spun around in circles, sweeping my arms above my head and out in front of me. Finally growing dizzy I stopped, one foot turned out in front of me, the other pointed behind me as I let my arms drop slowly to my side, my humming stopped and I opened my eyes. Remembering the reason I was here, to help Finnick. All urge to dance left me as I quietly undid the knotted ribbons, pulling the shoes off and staring at my feet, blistered and bruised. Plasters taped on them to stop the cuts being infected. I climbed into the bed, pulling the sheets over my body, shivering as the cold fabric touched my skin and then burrowing further into the warmth it provided. I yanked the comforter closer. Rubbing my cheek on the fluffy material, hand reaching out to turn off the lights, switch just in reach making a sharp clicking sound as I flipped it. My eyes started to drift closed in the darkness, my limbs tired from the exhausting day and I fell into dark oblivion.

Hogwarts Legacy inspired me to draw and have fun joining fandom again 

Warning: Long!!! and this is just my random talk.

I've been using this account for 3 years now (may be 4, I don't remember correctly). I created this blog mostly for posting my The Arcana fanart, and get to know very talented artists/writers and their Apprentices. That time was super fun, joining a fandom helped my drawing/water-coloring skill improve a lots. And another reason why I was so active at that time is because I was in a long-distance relationship, I didn't have much to do after work except playing games and draw, haha, like everyday. 

And then after 8 years of dating we broke up, because I could not leave everything behind and come to Australia to live with him without marriage. I quitted my job at a travel agency after the covid 19 second outbreak in Vietnam. Anyway, that is when I lost my willing to draw. I still logged on Tumblr thou, occasionally, but I just didn't have the feeling to hold my brushes again. At the same time Nyx Hydra was acquired by Dorian, The Arcana is not the same anymore. I still love the original story but I refuse to play the new stories on Dorian app. The fandom friends I know on Tumblr also deactivated. So I stopped drawing & left the fandom for almost 2 years.

Still I was lucky, early 2021 I found a new job in gaming industry, and met my husband there. It didn't take us several years to decided to get marriage. Last year was super busy, and I still play games, like alots. Genshin Impact, Baldur Gate 3, Red Dead 2, Tiny Tina's Wonderland...They're wonderful, but none of those ignited my willing to draw again. I couldn't explain , I tried to make fanart but always left the piece unfinished...

Until last month my husband bought me Hogwarts Legacy.

I've known about the game since its release, but didn't purchase it until this year due to my personal schedule and I wanted to finish other game first. Playing HL is different, like I see my 15 year old self stepping into the world I wish I could be there but couldn't. I was so excited! So many time I ran around the castle (casting revelio repeatedly and) shouting to my husband about how beautiful the environment is. And I met Sebastian, I thought he's cool but still didn't pay much attention on him until he took me to Felcroft. And all the shadow questline, all the lost and tragedies, the unfinished ending (why Avalanche?). So it has been decided, I wanted to be a part in this fandom, there are so many things could have been added in the game but the dev decided to throw them away, I needed to pick up my pencil and brushes.

And I'm glad I did. It's been 2 years since I joined a fandom and I almost forgot how fun it is. I've met so many nice artists who warmly welcomed me, and whose fanarts are too good that push me to improve my own drawing. I've read many beautiful fanfics that made me sobbing and giggling. It's like I've found the feelings I lost, and I want to thank you all for that.

Damn this post is too long already....

What I tried to say is, I don't know how long I will be here until my personal life pull me away again. But right now I'm on fire and I'm happy HL took me back here. After all I appreciate seeing you guy's contents everyday, and your nice comments whenever I posted something on Tumblr. I hope you don't mind if I post everything on this blog not only HL but also abit of my personal life, I just don't see the need to create another side ones. Currently reading: Working on The Trinity of Fundamentals by Wisam Rafeedie. I was supposed to be part of this bi-weekly reading group here locally that have been meeting and discussing it per-chapter, but it took so long to ship to me I missed the first few sessions and now I'm way behind...

Currently watching: My partner and I have been verrrrry slowly trying to catch up on Arcane. We'd seen the first season when it came out, and we rewatched it and are now like...4 episodes into the second season? Idk, it's really pretty, but like...I may be in the minority here, but I can't stand all the council-y 'behind closed doors' stuff, it's sooo boring! They're like 'hey, you want a super slick stylish cyber-/steam-punky show with two dope leads with gatlin guns and bombs and huge gauntlets?' and I'm like HELL YEH and then they're like 'Well 3/4 of every episode is the council scenes from star wars with a bunch of characters steepling their fingers and leering, have fun!' We'll finish it eventually by my gOD lol. Don't kill me, I know ppl are feral over that show and I don't dislike it, it's just A Lot.

Currently craving: Those nerds gummy-clusters, whatever they're actually called. We call it our 'aquarium gravel' lol and I could go for a bag right about now.

Coffee or tea: Lately it's been tea, I'm addicted to the raspberry-hibiscus target-brand tea with honey and lemon, I drink like 4 of them a day. I used to be a HUGE coffee drinker, but sometime over the last few years I stopped being able to enjoy it regularly. But If we're out somewhere that has it, I will ALWAYS get a cafe con leche, and I always end up craving coffee and making some when playing a Remedy game...wonder why that is...

okay, this is gonna be one of those crazy theories full of headcanons i make on discord, except this time I'M POSTING IT!

Hypothesis: Barry is a chaos user

Now, I know what you're thinking

"there's no proof of that what are you on"

AND I'D SAY "its just my little headcanon with no evidence :3c" however maybe there's some evidence, what if the THINK minigames are...

somewhat more real than just "think of what sonic would do"

what if Barry's chaos power is a very weakened (due of not knowing of it) form of ESP, so hear me out, here's my proof

During every interrogation this happens

0) have Barry collect clues before the interrogation

1) Tails says he and Barry have formed hypothesis or Tails makes an accusation/unfounded argument

(to which Barry progressively wonders why Tails and people keep mentioning them before an interrogation)

2) we have to select the correct type of evidence, from Barry's inventory, to form an argument

3) play the THINK minigame so that Barry can order their thoughts

4) Tails explains the argument flawlessly and barry sometimes lags behind

"but that isn't proof of anything"

SILENCE!

Hear me out: Barry's power is not only some sort of ESP, but some sort of inspiration or enlightenment kind of telepathy!

The game doesn't show Barry telling Tails anything, yet Tails forms almost always a very strong argument from a piece of trash Barry found laying around

Sure, he comments on them beforehand giving the player insight on how to use the clues during the interrogation

And Tails is a really smart kid, [and while we know IQ tests are dumb, he might have an IQ equal to eggman's, if not higher] however; Tails is... still a kid, he's prone to making mistakes

proof of this is in the very game in Espio's accusation! where all his arguments are weak and we have to help him out several times

[and several other times in different canon where being an 8 year old has overcame his high intelligence] [see: Forces]

and let's also remember Tails' intelligence comes in the form of excelling at engineering, robotics, coding, and mechanics; but there's different types of Intelligence, and just because one is super intelligent means they'll be great at everything

Eggman excels at the same things as Tails, however he took more time to make functional replicas of the phantom ruby, whereas Tails was able to make a functional replica of a chaos emerald in way less time.

The point is, Tails somehow always has something to say about things during the interrogations, and somehow always involves Barry even though they're not often adding anything

what if Barry is constantly giving Tails the information, and Tails being surrounded by chaos users always doesn't think much of it

plus this game has a lot of dialogue detail, wouldn't it be more correct to have them at least be shown to discuss something before presenting the argument?

but nope, Tails always jumps right into action the moment Barry shows a piece of evidence and does the THINK minigame

sure, it could be the discussion is done DURING the THINK minigame, but the dialogue doesn't inherently imply that, Tails often just tells us to think how the evidence links to the unfounded arguments from the interrogation

but if you aren't yet convinced: there's also...

Barry was always able to find clues, while Tails ... didn't really, even though they were working as a team, Barry always found the clues; even if for them they didn't seem as clues sometimes

sure, Barry is the avatar for us, and the game being a point-&-click needs to present us with minimal things to be able to interact with

but what if in Barry's mind it was somewhat the same, what if the same things we were presented with as interactable objects...

were also somewhat highlighted in Barry's mind

I'm not gonna use the trashbin thing as proof since theres a reason Barry did it through the game, they even tell Tails about it

but they do find every piece of evidence that could support any argument Tails bould be beginning to cook...

"but maybe Tails just made an argument with the things Barry collected and just wanted to include Barry on the interrogations"

there's truth to that; however, my argument can coexist with that one, Barry could've "inspired" tails with some sort of ESP during their THINK Sequences, and Tails could've formed a stronger argument through that!

in fact it sorta makes sense

Barry organizes the thoughts Tails presents them with AND shares the information with Tails to form the argument

all during a mind link while we are playing the THINK minigames!

LASTLY, and the weak part of the argument that I'm presenting; but still a part I wanted to include,

why was the final fight a THINK minigame? because Barry was helping!

do you think, after being inspired by Sonic the hedgehog he would stand in the background and do nothing?

it's implied the other friends of Sonic were also attacking the train during that whole thing

what if Barry was doing something

what if, specifically, Barry was giving information to Sonic of the train's next moves and where to go in the rail tracks

so that Sonic could spindash right into the train's carcass for amy to deliver the final hit with her piko piko hammer

is there any actual proof to this one?

personally, as in my personal opinion, i just don't believe in kara coming out as somehow the next best step for her. this matter of being your 'full self' just screams 'nobody knows what work/life balance is' lmao. this is what we call 'vocational awe' in libraries LMAO i get what it's trying to do in that this has been the series-long crusade for kara. who is she? kara danvers? or supergirl? and i have posited elsewhere that kara danvers is her default setting, not supergirl. so supergirl's role in kara's entire life is a cape/persona she dons...and then takes off. so i think the bigger identity reconciliation should be between kara danvers and kara zorel, not the hero but the alien. she's superpowered because she's alien first, etc etc. but idk how to explain that without writing an essay right now so i will withhold.

the point is i just didn't think it was a satisfying end for her to come out as supergirl to the world to satisfy the juggling of her two identities. i think she should have just done a better job juggling them LOL like i think it's important to determine how to be your most authentic self but i don't know if it needed to be done at the face of revealing your alien identity. because i still think that the target on her back just gets infinitely larger??? what's the point of keeping 4 years of secrets to lena at that point? couldn't she have reached that conclusion sooner if that was the case? i think she could have expressed her authentic self by marie kondoing what's the most important parts of her life and how to let the *right* people in, not *every single person* in. also like idk from a logistics standpoint, kara should have just hired a fucking assistant for herself to keep things organized. the issue here is that she keeps working 40 hour work weeks for both jobs. and also to accept editor in chief? like those people leave work early. the solution was for kara to have hired an assistant, maybe 2. like the reason why she's conflicted is that she's working 2 jobs? she doesn't need to combine those 2 jobs and announce to the world that she's doing them as 1 big job. ETHICALLY she was citing herself???? god the integrity of everything should be put to question lmao

what would have been more compelling to me myself and i is if she really took a look at her time as supergirl and wondered if she should maintain the cape or not. like did she do as much good as she hoped? what about the people who had died or who had gotten hurt or whose lives and situations were otherwise sacrificed on her behalf? is this the life for her? is this something she wants to keep doing because she wants to or because she feels she has to? she feels a responsibility and i think that's fascinating for a character, and she thinks that there's a duty to uphold to the humans of national city because she has these gifts. but i think the ending should have been kara determining the future of supergirl, the superhero, and not how to mix the two and count that as authenticity.

tangentially, it is oh so interesting to me that this authentic speeches comes from cat and lena to be the ones to convince her to stop hiding herself? two people who are notoriously private people???? who are essentially living private and public lives??????? funny how that goes i guess

anyway it's fine obviously and if you liked it then that's also great and it's an intentional high note feel good ending yes yes good great. i am not trying to yuck your yum at all, but based on how i have since engaged with the show, it's pretty clear the writers and i simply did not share a vision lmao

Ok, I hear you, you wanna hear about my life.

So I was at daycare, age 1. I was awfully quiet, which the teachers deemed suspicious. They went up to check on me. I was just playing with blocks, not harming anyone.

As I finished my block tower, I smiled mischieviously and yelled ”FUCK!” as I kicked the tower down.

The daycare teachers contemplaited if they should call my parents or not, and eventually decided not to, but wrote about the incident in my daycare reports card (which is how I know of this information). I also know it’s one of my first words because they wrote, and I quote, ”She’s only been communicating in grunts and babbles and this was the first clear word.”

Ok, so you may wonder how I learned this word. Many people guess I’ve heard adults swear. But the thing is, my parents NEVER swear. I also got to hear that the only things I got to see on TV as a 1 year old was VHS tapes of kids shows my parents had recorded beforehand that they deemed suitable (they were way stricter back when they only had me. The second the twins were born they did a 180 switch to hippie parenting).

So my theory for how I learned the word? From my previous life.

You see, I have this theory that the reason we do not remember anything in our first years on the planet is because our spirit from a previous life is guiding us on how to live. They feed us ideas and tips on how to navigate life. And when they deem us to be ready, they leave our body, and that’s when we have our first memory. That’s why when you have your first memory you don’t remember anything beforehand. You’re kind of just thrown in and you’re familiar with everything but you don’t know why you are.

Anyway, I think the spirit from my previous life cursed a lot, so I was probably influenced. And thus, my first word was fuck, even though no one around me had ever uttered those words.

So… hi.

I’ve never really talked about this, or really… thought about it, to be honest, until recently.

A lot of my friends are LGBTQ+. Like, a lot. I think… all of them. And I’ve always supported them, and I’ve been known as the ”token ally” of the group. I’ve considered myself straight, because from what I know, I’ve only liked boys. The thing though is, I’ve only really had a crush on one boy. No one else before, no one else after.

I think that I’ve also just been really heteronormative in general. Always assumed my female friends had crushes on boys, I never saw hints or signs… when consuming media, I never really noticed any subtext either. I was very often ”if this female character is shown to like this boy, I will assume that she only likes boys” and I never really got it when people shipped two characters of the same gender if they weren’t dating in canon. ”But they’re only good friends? And they dated boys in canon?” I can also add that, I for the most part consumed media that focused on straight couples. Never, or just rarely, were there even a gay character there, and if there was then it was just a side character. I had barely seen or read any queer media. I hadn’t seeked it out, either. I was just in my little bubble of books, shows and films I liked. And I mean, so is a lot of people!

However, movie nights with my friends have made me get so many new perspectives on things. Our movie nights are essentially a ”show the others something you like”, so everyone picks a movie or some episodes from a show they like, and show everyone else. A great way to get cultured in stuff you’re not usually into, and to get to show your friends something you’re personally into. And I think in the past year, I’ve seen more quer films and shows than what I’ve had in all of my life. And even when we don’t watch explicitly queer media, my friends have managed to put in those perspectives and made me notice things I wouldn’t otherwise. And it’s made me look at movies I’ve seen several times in a sudden new light.

One night, I was the one to comment about something I found queer coded in one of the movies we saw, and one of my friends commented ”You notice so much queer stuff for a straight person!”

We all laughed about it, but at that moment I realized… for some reason it didn’t feel good to hear that I was straight. I mean, I was… that’s what I always assumed about myself. So… why did it feel off when another person said I was?

Everyone around me was queer. I couldn’t ask anyone ”how do you know you’re straight?” because… no one was.

So I wondered… what if I’m… NOT straight? But how do I know I’m not?

I’ve never had a crush on a girl, I don’t THINK. But the thing is, maybe I have, and I didn’t realize it at the time. I haven’t had a lot of experience in romance in general, and due to thinking pretty ”straight”, I might have not considered it.

I know it’s not a requirement to feel attraction to the same gender to be not straight. You don’t even need to feel attraction to anyone at all, because it’s more than romance and sexual feelings. I’ve learned so much just hanging out with my everyday peers.

My mom’s partner, a woman (my mom is a lesbian, too), told me that people out of society’s norms often manage to find each other even before they know why. She told me her closest group of friends, when they got to know each other all of them were thought to be straight and cis. Now, all of them have come out, either as gay, or bi, and even the ones who still are straight turned out to be trans. And maybe it’s true, that eventually everyone in the group turns out to be queer in some way.

The thing is, I don’t know how to label myself. It does not feel good calling myself straight. It doesn’t feel like that’s what I am.

Recently I told my friends this. I don’t know why I was nervous about telling them… maybe it was like I killed the perception they had of me. But I should have never been nervous. They immediately showered me with support and told me, it’s perfectly fine to not have a specific label to you (no matter how much you want to be organized and put people into boxes and categories, like I can be sometimes). Sexuality is fluid, and it can always change. Whatever feels right in the moment may change as you grow, and learn more about yourself.

So… I have a lot to figure out, but I wanna tell you all that I am fairly certain that I am not straight.

7. What have they been up to in the 10 years between Inquisition and Veilguard? → Recovering from the loss of her arm, giving advice to Dorian through their crystals, helping her clan in Wycome, assisting Varric and Harding in their search for Solas even though she can't be directly involved.

8. The most important question: how do they plan to annoy Solas in Veilguard? → Talks about the funny things they went through during their time in the Inquisition. It's not really annoying, she actually tries to make him smile. 😭

"Solas, do you remember when we fell into that bush of nettles, and our backs itched for days?"

"I... Yes."

"And when Cole brought all those rabbits into the stronghold, and they nibbled at your notes?"

About Poppy Playtime Chapter 4, Poppy Playtime Games & The Prototype

Hello everybody, this is Shadow264 aka, Shadow Wrath. It has been too lomg, hasn't it? My apologies. Thing have been very very busy at my end, with loads of issues and stuff. Hopefully they'll be sorted out soon.

SO ANYWAY, you guys heard that Poppy Playtime Chapter 4 is coming next year? Excited? You know I am, too.

Now, about the entire game of Poppy Playtime.... i really need to get this off my chest since its Chapter 2 Game and before Chapter 3 was released and way before Chapter 4 and Project Playtime came about.....

I, came the closest to solving Poppy Playtime in terms of the Prototype and the ENTIRE Facility.

Now, you all maybe wondering how I managed that, do you?

Now, you see the Factory, it is so gigantic. SO GIGANTIC that it can home many trains inside the facility to go anywhere around the factory. That includes the conveyor belts back in Chapter 1. Now, I must confess to you guys, too that I can picture things in my head. Which means possibilities are endless for me.

And after seeing the conveyor belts in Chapter 1 and the trains in Chapter 2 and Project Playtime, and the locations, as well in all game chapters, THEN things began to add up. The Factory is more than just a Factory. It is like... well, like the Hive from Resident Evil, but twisted, which means this Factory is not a Toy Factory. It is a Laboratory. The Toy Factory gig is simply a cover up to get people off their backs from the BIGGER and UTTER abominations that they're making out of the kids they took in. The Game Station is nothing more than tests to see which toy each child is compatible with.

..... which is when, the Prototype comes in.

Now, the Prototype. Believe it or not. I was the only one who came the closest to revealing him. And how did that come about? Well, that's simple. This eventually leads us to Chapter 3 and upcoming Chapter 4 and my ealier findings. Yes, the Prototype caused the Hour of Joy and he was the one who caused everything behind the scenes. But what if I were to tell you that he had subordinates? Those, were Huggy Wuggy, Mommy Long Legs and his disciple, Catnap. He didn't want to show himself yet because he was still incomplete. That is why he sent them out as his pawns, his foot soldiers so he can slowly prepare himself to fight you while he watches you, where ever he lies.

And YES, The Prototype has been watching us the whole time. There were a few occasions, really when we play the tapes about the Prototype at the near ends of the Chapters. You will notice that there was a laser pointer pointing on the TV. THAT was actually the sign that the Prototype.... was watching.... and he was.... behind you.

Shocking, isn't it?

Now, continuing on about the Factory as I'll be also bring in The Prototype, too. Moving on, yes the Factory is like a Hive, whereby there is a train system, conveyor belt system, a Playcare, the new edition from Chapter 4, a Prison or a Security Facility are stationed waaaaay waaaaaaaaaay underground of the Factory, which tells us this; On the outside, they are making toys for Joy, but on the inside, it is all experimentation and hell in there. Which brings to what I have thought about and pictured.

You see, before Chapter 3, Project Playtime and Chapter 4 came out, I always believed that Playtime Co. is much more bigger than this to make those huge toys that turn into monsters. So, I decided to picture, think and draw them out. An underground school, an experiment room, a facility to house the toys in, a testing chamber, the TOP SECRET Room, and many more which also involves the Prototype. When Chapter 3 and the upcoming Chapter 4 surfaced, that's when I realized (again, I say this), I came the closest to solving the Prototype. While discovering that, I also discover that the Factory is like a Hive, meaning if there is a way in, that means there has to be multiple ways out of the Factory, from both above, and below.

The Experiment Rooms are one thing, but when it comes to the Prototype, what I discover is quite simple and easy to read. The Prototype is not just like a living Frankenstein's Monster, or the Kindred itself, it is a sentient being with its own singularity. That's why it's so smart to make a laser pointer and escape. Now, you are wondering why the other toys didn't escape but the Prototype somehow did? Well that is simple. Its Experiment Room was located sonewhere else beyond the bigger bodies experiements' reach comsidering the Prototype's sentience. Which leaves me to suspect that the Prototype is being stationed.... way below the Chapter 4 levels of the Playtime Co. Factory.... why else would it be able to move freely? Cause' it already knows in and out of that Factory. That's why.

I was coming close to solving the entire Factory's schematics and the Prototype's identity theoratically all on my own, but.... idk.... something stopped me from proceeding further due to the fact that something is telling me.... that 'I know too much'.

So, I stopped. But not out, yet. I'm just secretly theorizing still so i'll do my best to crack everything the best I can.

Yeah. That's what's going on and the thing I wanna get off my chest. Creepy right? Though i'm beatin the bush around and repeating but, you should get the idea on where i am coming from.

Laughed a lot at Tsukasa (what's in him) being shown as the "root" to what's going on, according to No.1. Like... I'm so shocked you know. Never expected such a twist. No. ~ Not ever. ~

So... what does it exactly mean to establish a new "present"???

Aoi's appearance is so questionable to me. I always assumed she kept her hair down due to her hand being damaged from her experience near the far shore. But now, that doesn't seem to be the case?

Following that line, if we assumed Aoi's hand is alright, then she was never scarified, meaning the severance never happened, meaning what had led to it happening never took place......

Wasn't it having near half the yorishiros down? I mean, that's what led No.6 to move to deal with what was going on back then, sacrificing Aoi in the progress.

Now, if that didn't happen... it means no yorishiros have fallen down? No mastermind was there? Then... does "Hanako-san" exist in this present? Mit 2.0 who was created by his yorishiro? Sumire is...?

Nene's lifespan? I mean???? In this present she won't die basically.

And that's not what we were told? This ideal present doesn't work well with what was said about her inevitable death? so something seems doomed to go wrong. she won't escape death just like that, it's so easy, just saying.

Thing is... Mirai and Kako went back to the past to change events, the year 1968 was shown, is it where they chose to start changing things from? Or did they keep going back? It's the year Amane and Tsukasa both were 12 y.o. So... did they go back to the time Amane was working around 'that' clock? Because yes, I've always ignored the clock the dog destroyed is not really identical to the one with a moon and son on top, there are other things too. That clock feels to control the school's time, while the other gets you to time travel? The school's time seems to be included, also. The clock Tsukasa was talking about...? Was it the one shown in this chapter? So like... Amane was messing with the wrong one all along? Unless he wanted to command the time of the "School" itself? it kinda explains why Tsukasa told Nene to use a clock then broke another? they are not the same?

Thing is, if the severance never took place, then Kou and Nene never met 4 y.o Tsukasa. Which means he never went back home. Which gets you to wonder... would Amane have any reason to work around the clock, then????

They are going back to that time so they will "eliminate" a Tsukasa that never exists??? That's still in the red house or something???

Thing is, why didn't Mirai and Kaku go back to the day of the twins' birthday instead? Or before Tsukasa made the deal with what's in him. You're after the "root" of the events?

First time they played together was in the red house when he was 4.

So, having 12 y.o Tsukasa asking Nene to come play with him again, feels legit.

But...

What does "again" really means?

What if Nene played a game of time with him 'and forgot?' a little before meeting him once more and having him saying this "again"?

Hmm... so I wonder whether this "again" refers to the red house play time, or actually her playing with 12 y.o Tsukasa 'before' so that makes it 'again'...

It's the same boy who told her "of course I'm Tsukasa kun" "Amane's twin" when little and then as a ghost went with it again as if it never happened before, for the sake oh Nene who is confused.

At least it feels like something... we're back to this "fake" thingy, I obviosuly roll my eyes at, with Tsukasa, Kou and Nene wondered about it at some point, then they magically forgot about it just like that, whenever Tsukasa was mentioed or she interacted with him.

Teru and No.1... they seem to share the same view on things.

Both know Nene is fated with death and the cause of it. It's the same one to get the disasters they fear to happen happening in the first place. So, if they say her death is inevitable, so are the disasters.

Teru showed an indifference reaction to Nene's death in ch 28, now that's not the case, he showed to despise the 7 mysteries and call them evil and need to be gone, then he says twice they are the protectors of the land. So now, he is trying to stop whatever that might shake the balance of this peace.

No. 1 didn't show a reaction to Nene's case, merely observed things as Kaku said in ch 61, well... that can be because they control time, so they will react when the time is right. That is, not it seems.

Good to note, we got Nene getting asked some times to go see No.1 regarding her death case, she went to Akane of the present... at some point... Now Amane is in charge of things... hmm...

... What is it that Akane might want Teru and Nene to do? Maybe he is more specific about Nene? Anyway, he said "As soon as you can move again", it kinda means 2 options to me.

1- there was time for the 4 to get back to normal before Kaku and Mirai change things.

Then, in that light Teru was supposed to take Nene there before things are changed.

2- It's the opposite, so he needs to get to her after Kaku and Mirai do their thing.

Which is supposed to mean once things are changed, Teru will keep his memories of what happened, being a as powerful, and he will go get Nene. So, Nene... I think she will remember things, too. She is special after all, according to some people saying that about her, including Teru himself.

If we followed the line of the first option, when Teru breaks free, the twins will do too, so... what if what I was thinking about was true, let's say they got a feeling something wrong will happen with time, since we're dealing with No.1, and then used the elevator Hanako can summon, I assume Tsukasa as well to be safe from whatever that may happen? In a place cut from reality of its own time and space... it's safe for them to be there? Then they can use it to go to any place they want.

But having the note of "time moves differently in No.1's boundary"... who really knows...

12 y.o Tsukasa did tell Nene to use the clock... but does it mean present Tsukasa is only into that? He used the 'nowhere' many times before, especially during the severance. He is in charge of the No.1 thing, he must be super careful, right? He gets No.1's power after all.

Speaking of the time changing... I wondered who would No. 7 be if it wasn't him… would be there a No.7? was there one before Hanako? from ch 95 it was kinda implied there used to be past numbers. But a No.7... hmm...

With this ideal present, the rest of the 7 don't seem to be affected, they don't have much to do with the twins, beside Tsuchigomori. Unless, he used to have another yorishiro before the rock?

If in this ideal present we came to the time Amane is a teacher, maybe Nene's teacher... it would be interesting to see how they might interact. Would they feel wired around each other in some way? Would then not really pay attention to each other... hmm...

Is it weird of me to be thinking , this happening was naturally meant to happen, so we will reach the present we've always known? I mean, every single time you try to change things in this story, even with time travelling when you mean to change events (the Nene Kou red house thing, they just ended up making the present come true), and the times time travel happened with Nene without her meaning to change anything, it's all meant to happen.

However things will go, they will end up having the future changed to the present we've always had. They won't be erasing Tsukasa themselves; they will be moving Amane a step into killing him, then himself. boy, this happened in the story many times, Mermaid asking Nene to come join her side, of course Nene will refuse so things will go as they are supposed to, the p.p arc ending just as it started, the severance not resulting in any significant change, Tsukasa in the red house with Kou and Nene, and I assume, this time as well with No.1.

So, this future Tsuchigomori talked about that Amane changed, the one where he becomes a teacher and doesn't die young, it can be happening right now.

Now, we need to take Tsukasa's important question to Amane, he is repeatidly asking him imprtant questions regarding "want me to stay or disappear", so he can act accordinly, how special you are Amane, just saying, the one to tie this boy to earth. No.1 trying to change the past, Tsukasa's words last chapter about Amane never wanting to have the 2 of them separated, it speaks for itself.

We're not going to change anything, we're setting the present in stone, not any Ideal present, but the one we always knew.

Nothing much will change, Amane by the end of the road will end up killing Tsukasa and himself, become Hanako - san again. The story is back to the way it is, or rather, goes the way it's supposed to.

It's just like the severance thing, we try to change things, switch the life of 2 girls, by the end all of that was meant to happen, then be reversed, we keep going with the present we know.

Same will happen here I assume.

With this, all we are doing is plant a new seed into the twins' death, and toward this present we know too well.

Thinking about the situation with Nene herself...

Nene's case is so confusing. Her future is based on this "Tsukasa" error in the first place, it's based on Tsukasa coming back and her meeting Hanako-san one day, having all that happened from the start until now happening. Her book has Hanako in it, has them in it. It has this present we had for all this time like……???

Shouldn't her book be originally based on the "ideal" present instead, like Amane's for example? Without changing, it's what we have in all these chapters in her book. She is fated with death later on, but in the ideal present No.1 want to make, really… she won't, at least the way of having Hanako-san and Tsukasa there.

Will she not die ever in that ideal present…? Or will she come to destroy the yorishiro another way? But if they are destroyed… the power they hold, where would it go? What original form would they come back to? If Tsukasa isn't there, if what's in him isn't there anymore? Since No.1 will git rid of what's in him and him?

From this ideal present, it seems to tell Tsukasa is fated to be gone. His job was to sacrifice himself so Amane could live and become Mr. teacher as his ideal future, and that's it, he will be in the house forever.

So, No.1 chose the year 1968, since it's the same one their clock got involved with the twins, with Amane trying to fix it. They connect to their clock, since the school's time is its and their job.

So yes, the time they can use effectively is that one, a time where both twins are students in the school and got involved with their clock. Cool.

Nene's fate, questionably, is similar to Tsukasa's. And I have to wonder how. If the ideal present is one where Amane lives. Nene's book comes… and it's based on the setting where Tsukasa comes back and gets killed so Hanako-san is there. How? She is connected to the twins. Or even better, maybe one of them for real.

Akane was told to look after whatever that may go wrong, so maybe... Nene being in the ideal present is wrong? one of the errors?

So now, I assume No.1 will use their powers back in that festival of the twins', maybe Nene will remember things, maybe use the clock herself in some way?, go meet 12 y.o Tsukasa who told her to come play with him again, uh... that one is funny... since he informed Nene of things when they already happened, so was he like "yeah, we dealt with it together Nene-chan, come play with me 'again'."

Uh, the thing with Nene is as if we're back to the p.p arc again... but this time in reality, not in a picture. And I used to wonder why No.4 was mentioned in that arc... yeah... we're living in an ideal present this time, see what will Nene remember, do, act, accept, reject, etc.

Only the last moment of Mei walking to her death willingly... I don't know... will Nene go that way at some point herself? For real, not like in the severance?

Ehhh... just thinking about things with this...

Ch 101- Tsukasa asking Amane to decided whether he wants him to stay with him or if he would rather him disappearing. As if he knew what will be happening next, with No.1 coming after him. So, was he supposed to take back his decision to leave the red house to join Amane's side or not. He gave Amane the choice.

"It's about time you decide what you want, Amane."

Did Amane also know somehow what was going to happen, so that's why he was desperate to fix the clock before the festival ends? The specific timing is questionable.

Then, the keepers are there to do their job, things happened.

And Tsukasa reaches the point of seeing Nene back in time with Mit 2.0, due to what happened reflecting on the future, it seems he was aware she was coming and waiting for her to show up, and he tells her time went unstable, apparently due to what No.1 did or tried to do, and asks her to come play with him again.

This boy... I'm not sure that's how things went, we're missing with time and all, but this boy is something to never underestimate. That's what I'm trying to say.

I'm thinking about present Tsukasa, if this thing really happned in his "past", he should be aware of it taking place soon, right? Like the time with Nene and the key. He was aware, this day of school, I have to take her to the nowhere so she'll go see past Amane. So, was he ready for No.1's move? Hmm....

His deal with time is really something.

So, we have Tsuchigomori saying Amane somehow changed the future in his book...

Was it only him the direct reason behind the change? We have Kou, Nene, Tsukasa, No.1, ..., . playing rules in getting that change to happen.

And then we have the nice comment of Tsukasa, "you still don't like it when we don't get to see each other. You've always been like that."

As if he didn't lose you before, so he won't want it to happen again no matter what after he got you back.

Thinking over the clock keeper's first little arc:

1- Mirai said when time is turned back it will feel as if nothing happened. Then Kaku pointed out those powerful supernatualrs or those high powers will be less affected.

2- Akane stopping one's time while time is brought back or changing won't affect them, as their time is stopped. (Kou)

Alright, following these...

He stopped the time of the 4, Hanako, Tsukasa, little Nene, Teru. Then asked the later to do some business with her.

So, as their time was stopped, they won't be "much" affected?

Hanako and Tsukasa, since we are changing things on their regard, so apparently we won't be having the 2 in the ideal present, but what if Tsukasa or the 2 broke free, and Tsukasa could teleport the 2 of them into the nowhere space? It's a space of its own time, not affected by what will be happening. That way, both will be safe. It's funny reminds me of how Hanako and Amane who dropped his key existed at the same moment. Same as there.

Well, that's just an assumptions based on another, so... let's talk about facts once more.

Back to Teru and Nene, we can say they will be special exceptions to what is going on. And, maybe we can also include curses, bonds.

Back when the severance took place, Teru made a remark of Akane's watch that ties him to the supernaturals and Nene's mermaid curse are still there. So, can we assume with this case, too, her bond and curse are still there? They are so powerful, right?

Same can go for another certain girl had a bond with Tsukasa, and her "Fate" is tied to his, same as Nene is to Hanako. if she was together with her dog in the nowhere already, would they be really affected by anything? I guess not.

So, can we say... for now... assuming it anyway, Nene, that girl, Teru, Akane (being the present clock keeper anyway) are special cases in this ideal preset. To which degree it is for the first 3 cases, I can't be so certain.

Speaking of Mr. key... No. 1 can affect the school's time, so they are trying to work things out with that limit. Get past student Tsukasa (what's in him) at the school the festival day Amane did something with the clock and change the present into the ideal one accordingly.

I wonder what the deal of Mr. key would be... is it with Nene, or back at her home?

If it is with her would it still be there or not?

If it's in her home, would it still be there or not?

As we're missing with time, seeing No.1's yorishrio a key, then near the twins' hands, its usage finally seems to be on the horizon, at least I hope so.

We also had the little matching thingy of Teru asking Akane to deal with Kou when he comes to him to ask him do something about time, and a reverse of Akane doing the same with Teru regarding Nene. Pretty interesting. Have to keep an eye on that one, too.

Akane, Teru -Time- Nene, Kou.

But, have to be excited, as this time it's not any random interference with time, it's No.1 who are in charge of time themselves.

On the Amane/Hanako, Nene and Tsukasa regards.

Nene's:

I'm a normal girl.

I want to live my "long" life in the world I know. (except her wanting it to be the world with Hanako-kun in it, as she voices out.)

Well, that "ideal" present works well with a part of her wishes. But will that really "satisfy" her or make her happy?

It seems she is given the chance. Be a normal girl, forget all about supernaturals stuff, live your life to its fullest, grow up, do all you wanted to later on, and here you are, in your real world. Just a different type of present, where Hanako- kun is not there with you, and Tsukasa - kun is also gone.

Would you "choose" to live that life? You want a life with Hanako-kun in it, huh?

Hanako -kun that you never wanted to kill anyone? To grow up and fulfil his dreams? Here he is. A grown-up teacher. Mr. Yugi Amane.

So?

Yugi Amane-kun can live, a normal life, be a teacher, get his dreams. Would he like that?

Again, living a life with no Tsukasa and Nene in it?

Tsukasa-kun, the boy who is ready to give up on himself and his wants, always, to ensure Amane gets what he wants.

What would these mean to him if his little brother is not there?

In both ways, ideal present, usual present, we'll have him sacrificing himself for Amane, and the 2 of them, thinking that will make them happy, they will live a nice life. But, think of their feelings more. Would they want a world without you in it?

Without love... without those you love with you... is this perfect life meaningful or worth it?

I assume this time, again, Nene will willingly destroy No.1's yorishiro at the end, to put an end to this ideal present. Have the usual 'better' present back.

It's really something to see Nene put in a kind of trial of 'love and sacrfice'.

Having Amane/Hanako getting to have the future she wished he has, without her being a part of it. Will she accept it? what about her love for him? Will she give up on it for the sake of his “happiness”? Will she be willing to trade it without hesitation? Teacher Amane however, is this “happiness” even real to him? Does it mean anything to him? if he were not to have her and Tsukasa normally?

It’s just like what he did to her with the severance. He made the choice to erase himself from her life, to ensure she lives a long one and reaches her dreams. He took “love” away from her. Isn’t he the one she shouted “the person I love”. Now, she is facing just that. We’re trading “love” with supposedly bright “future”. The similarities are cool, aren’t they? In her case we traded “Aoi” and “Hanako”, and now in Amane’s case we trade “Tsukasa” and Nene".

Not only time that' is the issue at the moment, but also the wishes of some people, in a way, it feels as if both Nene, Amane, Hanako got what they wish for. I will talk really fast about it…

She wishes to be normal. There she is. Live in the real world. There she is. She wished Amane could get to his dreams, at one point "as if he never killed anyone", here he is! A "normal" teacher before your eyes. Do you want that kind of "ideal present"? Or do you want the same old present with all its hardships and Hanako-kun in it? Tsukasa -kun you got to know more into lately? Tsukasa – kun who is a big deal in Amane's life.

Amane, who wished since little to be this, he got it.

Hanako who wished Nene could live and all, there she is. Have a real life with here. There they are alive and all. The age gap doesn't really matter if they are willing to sacrifice a thing for their love. Yet? Would he want this? Does he want a life without Tsukasa? And if he were to not find it normal for him and Nene to be together, then it's with no Nene and no Tsukasa. only these ideal dreams of his nice job and he is alive. What is more important?

And Tsukasa, all the time, he is there to see his not a part of these ideal dreams. Never been asked directly for once to stay or told he is important. When 4, that was the case. When told Amane will kill him. he welcomed it. Now, for Hanako's "I wish to live a real life with you, '''''Yahsiro''''' " He is doing it. He goes for giving up on himself every single time.

Hmm… I see Nene, and maybe on a wishful thinking old Amane himself will reject this "ideal" present. She willingly destroys No.1's yorishiro, not bothered to be a step forward into her death, like she did with No.4's so we are back to how things were.

That can be one good lesson, huh? we're in a story about "love", a story to start with a wish to be loved, you're ready to sacrifice all else for love. We don't want whatever ideal dull life without love.

And, this ideal present can also be a nice way of showing Tsukasa's repetitive situation. In that ideal present he is naturally not there, and now in this present he is working to yet again disappear. The 2 will need to work so that won't happen, right? They get Tsukasa's "extreme value".

The p,p arc was fun on this regard, reflecting Amane's nice desires. Being Nene's classmate, a cool guy fitting for her type, etc. AND having his twin there. Tsukasa is right there!!! A reason why I love the depth of the 2 pages of Amane and Nene just turning around to look at him. yes. he needs to be there. don't let him go.

So, the 3 need to get past their struggles, have a clear state of mind on how they want things. Such ideal things in this ideal present isn't what they ask for, even though, on a surface level, it is.

So yes? let's change it. Amane doesn't want to go anywhere? Nene will get to her near death state of life? No Tsukasa? No Hanako-kun? Who wants to love a long life or whatever without that? without love? No way.

Poor Amane… thinking about how much he struggled…

His name is there to say 'normal' but all that happened with him is far away from 'normal.

He wished for the a really normal life… yet…

"I just want to be with those I love" - the world is against you, you will lose them all the time.

"I want to try to control time so I can do that." - Time itself is against you.

"die so we can stay together." – not really effective.

….

It is really something… if we imagined at some point, maybe when the time got messed up in the festival, Amane did get a glimpse of how his "ideal" future is "supposed" to be, he becomes a teacher with no Tsukasa in his life, and then, knowing how it's supposed to become, he refused it. Willingly.

"I don't want that sort of future. I don’t want my dreams. I even don't want to live that way. I don’t want to go anywhere."

Thinking a bit more about "teacher Amane".

Tsuchigomori pretended to be a human let’s say… since Amane’s time and before it, it seems. If we said he was at least 25 (human age, to normal people) at that time… now he should sound like an old man around 75 years old. Does he look like that?

So maybe… old men in this story still look young… or maybe it’s due to that being another form of a supernatural… but maybe we will still see a 60 y.o really hansom teacher? I wonder if girls will be like… "oh, our teacher is blah blah blah." I also imagined the thing of… since it’s an ideal present and all… rewritten present… what if in this present Nene wasn’t a student of his and all and they really went past each other like that, let’s say she remembers but still… it will be hard for her. Also, it's Hanako-kun she wants to be with and confess to, right?

And if… in that present the 2 naturally shared a good relationship... if they crossed paths in the festival, teacher Amane will smile at her and pat her head, asks if she is having fun……. now that is lighter than the previous but still just as hard……… like… will she be like his daughter…..?

I'm really looking froward to see teacher Amane, Nene coping with the ideal present and that version of him all together. It's pretty exciting.

Thinking about No.1 and Tsukasa's situation...

Isn't it something No.1 who are like puppets moved the way the world needs, carry on the logic of the world, etc are after the one to stand on sharp contract to the world? The one to defy it?

Uh, Tsukasa is a true mastermind. For days I’ve been wondering… what if Tsukasa is yet again playing another game with No.1?

/at the start he took Nene to destroy the yorishiro, seemingly got defeated but, he was acting and only waiting for the right moment to attack.

/seemed to be put under No.1's mercy during the court, turned out, it was the opposite. /?seemingly let his guard down after getting into his chat with Amane after asking Nene to do her job once again.

/?then seemingly get things going out of his hands with No.1 turning back time to change the present, seeing he is the root of the problem.

Thing is… What if this yet again is a second part of his plan to get No.1’s yorishiro destroyed?

-what if he knows what he is doing will lead No.1 into turning back time in the first place? Going to his advantage of setting the past in stone (like in the severance case) and having their yorishiro destroyed by Nene (willingly now) in the process like in No.4’s case and in a way No.6’s?

He gets what he wants from his game that way. In fact, he is the one who let this information of: I’m the one after this, in the first place to them. pretty much “luring” No.1 into doing what he wants, after they "understand" things. While they think they are doing what they want. Since, they are the ones to rule time after all, he knows how they work.

Tsukasa: hate to break it, but while you guys think what you’re doing is up to your own free will and against me, you’re being little good puppets in my hands, working for my sake all along. ~ it’s funny in a way, present them to be like… robots… Kaku with that puppet place… they are ruled by time instead of really ruling it, and it seems Tsukasa-puppet master, too

If that really was the case… then wow, Tsukasa. wow. you’re WOW. As expected of a Tsukasa. *clapping hard* I will praise you to no end if that was the case. He is playing with them, putting his own 'past' existence at risk (not really) doesn't remind of the severance at all with his also 'playing' with his past self. He is a fan of risky games, isn’t he? Always has been. Him and his games. 💜 His deal with No.1 reminds me of N.4’s case, the circumstances of the cases are really similar. One of then is that in No.4’s, he was the one after asking her to draw a pic in the first place, with No.1 he destroyed their clock to have them moving. He does what’s necessary with every case. Admirable. This boy……..

So, both Tsukasas are playing. Tsu rn lures No.1 into changing the past, to have them ending up with setting it in stone. ~ While 12 y.o is really... chill about the whole thing, assumigly knowing it will happen, and just singing isntead, before going to ask Nene to play 'again' with him. ~ How cheeky. Sly foxie. I mean, sorry… this boy is always full of surprises. Like if we said that wasn’t on his mind from the start, he can come up with plans at the spot, it’s easy for him.

let’s search over the boudary it’s inside of them let’s ‘force’ Nene to destroy it let’s allow them to change time, that will get Nene to do it willingly, and time will be 'fixed’. 2 birds with one stone. Let’s not forget his deal with the clock to force them to move, I assume it was a mean to have them going for a court, and later on to try to stop him, doing what they did last chapter.

It all brings me back to he wanted that to happen. Again, I’m left with… no one understands Tsukasa better than a Tsukasa. 12 y.o Tsu… and this Tsu will be the end of me. Uhh………… Such force………….. magnificent. How are we supposed to get around or understand his grace?????? Oh. *shakes Amane’s hand for the 100 time on this regard* let’s do our best to understand Tsukasa more!!!

I wonder... what that "try not to die" he said means.

Naturally, you won't die in a boudary, right? Unless that meant, he wll have to get about at some point, and leave the clcok behind?

Who will be the ones to go after him? The 2 with Tsukasa? hmm... nat? His blood power doesn't affect humans. Or maybe... it affects Akane in his supernatural from. Hmm, he can use his power in his human form, like what he did with No.6, if given the chance to do that. That way, assuming "blood" is the only thing nat can use against him, there is a big chance Akane can hold himself against him.

To be honest, I really don't care. When it's a matter of a the 2. But having things to do with Akane, I'm a bit intersted. Thinking back to their "talk" over the yorishro, and Aoi's hand.

Which is... in this present... "healed" or rather, didn't get damahed in the first place.

Hmm... can this be how Akane fulfils his promise to her? I don't think so. Given he promised to be the one to do that. And keeping in mind, at one point we will be back to the usual present. Can he do something while this situaton takes place, if given the right chance to achieve that?

Still waiting to see something gets done about that little thing.

Imagining yorishiro Tsukasa going to Nene, asking her to get out the key, saying it's time to use it. And from there, she keeps going back and forth between yorishiro Tsukasa, and 12 y.o Tsukasa until they achieve what they want on getting things back on track. Via the nowhere place, clock, ... . Interesting to think about for a moment. Since this arc seems to focus on the 2 of them pretty much.

So, I have now officially beaten every NES Dragon Quest (Dragon Warrior) game. I'm currently playing Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door, and I'm almost at the end, but I have to wait for the switch to recharge before tackling Chapter 8.

In the meantime, I want to write down some of my thoughts on Dragon Quest here.

Dragon Warrior 1 (NES) - Dear lord, just play one of the Remakes, the original is so tedious. There's a remake for Gameboy, there's a remake for Mobile, there's a remake for SNES, there's even a fan made RPG Maker Remake. Any one of those is a better choice than the original. Only play the original if your curious, or for studying purposes. Oh, on that note, the SNES version is Japan Exclusive, so you'll have to get a patch to translate it to English.

Dragon Warrior 2 (NES) - Not only is this the best game of the NES Quadrilogy, it's just the best Dragon Quest game I've played. How did they do so well on their second try!? It's so hard to describe the feeling I got playing this and realizing "Oh! This is the game all those other RPGs are referencing!" Now, I'm biased. I liked drawing my own maps and taking my time with that, so if you don't I also recommend going to the remakes. Again, they're available for Gameboy, SNES, and Mobile. Again, the SNES version is JP exclusive and has an English translation patch.

Dragon Warrior 3 (NES) - It's hard to describe why I felt a little disappointment with this one... Dragon Warrior 2 was just... So good! Like, how do you follow that? For some reason, everything in 3 felt... slower. Despite several quality of life changes, things like re-organizing my inventories felt more tedious than it did before, and when the story reached the Second Act (I'm not sure I used that phrase right) I fell into that same emotion that I had while playing persona 5 where the game just felt like it was dragging on. And because I can probably beat Dragon Warrior 3 4 times over in the time it took me to beat Persona 5 once, I have reason to believe this has to do more with the context of the plot, than the runtime of the game itself. I guess I'll go ahead and recommend playing he GBC or SNES remakes again, they certainly sped things up.

Dragon Warrior 4 - This game SUCKS! It's easily the worst of the NES quadrilogy. It's not the worst Dragon Quest game (Dear god it's not the worst), 9 takes that dishonor (At least, of the ones I've played so far), but the baffling decision to have all party members except for the Hero controlled by AI once you gain control of said Hero, makes it a very close second. I can't even recommend the remake, because I can't get very far in it. Once we enter the Remake dimension for this game, we exit Dragon Warrior and enter Dragon Quest, where the development team thought it would be a great Idea to transcribe everyone's accent to a ludicrous (and sometimes racist) degree. And, surprising no one, RPGs are just slightly impossible when you can't read.

Well, now that I've beaten all 4 of the OG Dragon Warrior games, I'm wondering what I should do next (After beating TTYD of course)

Should I keep on with the series and go to Dragon Quest 5, or should I start on the NES Final Fantasy games (Of which, I've only beaten FF2)?

Of course, I'm biased in favor of Dragon Warrior 2, but I'd like to hear what reasons others have for liking the ones they do.

Oh, and just to make sure this gets a decent sample size; the remakes count. If you've played Dragon Warrior GB, but not Dragon Warrior NES, then you've played Dragon Warrior.

Exactly how screwed are the sharks, the flames, and the oilers?

You can't see me but I am RUBBING MY HANDS IN DELIGHT at this ask. Nothing I love more than talking about why teams suck. As always, meet you under the cut! 💜

CALGARY FLAMES: CANDLE IN THE WIND

I, for one, never got the hype behind the Flames. Every pundit in the entire NHL was saying "Oh, the Flames are going to have a massive bounceback year, last year was a down year for everyone!" And now look at them. 3-7-1 to start the season with a mere 7 points in 11 games.

Spoiler alert: Trading your best forward in points production to literal Satan for a single corn chip is not going to help you be competitive. Who'd'a thunk it?

In addition, there seems to be a major coaching problem. On theory, this team should be solid. Maybe not top of the league good, but solid enough to make a wildcard spot at least. But you watch the systems at play and they just don't work with the players. For instance, Huberdeau is an east-west player being forced to play a north-south system. He can't do what he does best, make plays, because the current north-south system simply won't allow it. Firing Sutter was supposed to fix this locker room. It only seems to have made the problems worse. Christ, Zadorov is apologizing to the fans because they're playing that shittily.

How screwed are they? Probably a solid 8/10. Markstrom seems to have bounced back, but the team in front of him has not, tanking his save percentage because the defense simply cannot defend. We're being treated to a classic Huberdeau and Kadri Disappearing Act (2-4-6 and -12; 1-4-5 and -12). Mangiapane and Andersson have both gotten suspensions already for no god damn reason. All extension talks (Lindholm and Hanifin chief among them) have been suspended. It's chillingly possible this team will have to sell big at the deadline to get any value out of their expiring UFAs - and then what? You've got a few good pieces (Cary, Sharangovich, Wolf) that can lead your retool, but you've also got anchor weights in massively underperforming contracts, like the aforementioned Huberdeau's, that come with no-move clauses and are just such bad deals that even if those clauses were waived, who'd take them?

EDMONTON OILERS: BULLS ON PARADE

I think if you told anyone in July that the Edmonton Oilers were going to start their season 2-7-1 in 10 games, you would be laughed out the door. And yet.

I do have to preface this by saying yes, McDavid was out for several games, and when you're without the best player in the NHL, it gets tougher to win games. But fuck, man. The Devils are now down BOTH their top six centers for the foreseeable future and yet they're still managing to win games. You know why? DEPTH SCORING. Something that the Oilers have not had since seemingly the 80s. If your game plan revolves so strongly around one guy, chances are you'll be fucked anyway if that guy goes down.

Also, Campbell cannot stop a beach ball in net. Skinner isn't much better. How much of this is the defense and how much is just the goalies sucking? Unclear, but it is NOT a good sign. Although the Oilers mostly work under "outscore your opponent before they outscore you", you want to be able to make SOME timely saves. Neither tendy is giving any hope recently.

And all this can ultimately be traced back to Ken Holland fucking this team over with contracts. Nurse did not deserve that much. Kane is questionable at best. Campbell? Christ. And then you have no cap room to sign actually decent bottom sixers and then wonder why they're getting shelled. Why is Sam Gagner, a random legacy Oiler on a league minimum contract, on your second line? Make it make sense!

The thing is - you CAN win if you have a few guys getting paid the big bucks. Just look at Vegas for an example of that. You CAN'T win if you have a few guys getting paid the big bucks and almost no depth beyond your top line where you stack McDavid and Draisaitl to try to get SOMETHING going. You can't doubleshift those two across the entire lineup. I know, it sucks.

SAN JOSE SHARKS: COLD WATER

How screwed are they? I'll give them a 6/10. We're seeing the "or bust" part of "cup or bust". Can they turn it around? They have McJesus. Anything is POSSIBLE when you have McJesus. But it's not looking pretty, at all. I bet they end up in the wildcard hunt, or close to it. Just enough to maybe make the playoffs but too exhausted to do anything else.

Remember, Draisaitl's contract is up after 24-25. McDavid, 25-26. Will they want to stay in this garbage fire? If one, or God forbid both, ask to be traded, this team better channel the early 2010s and tank hard.

And now we reach the ultimate lolcow. These guys STINK. 0-10-1 in 11 games. .045 points percentage. The only point they managed to get was because Blackwood stood on his motherfucking HEAD in game 2.

But then you have contracts like Hertl, Vlasic, and Couture, which you can't move and which will weigh down the franchise for years while it tries to rebuild. What are you going to do with them? How will you get rid of them?

What's the problem? More to the point: What isn't??? There's zero star power on the entire roster. The defense doesn't know how to defend and the offense can't score against a Shooter Tutor, much less an actual NHL goalie. The goalies... they're trying! I think! Give them credit. And Quinn's trying, maybe, to coach? But when do you kick his ass to the curb too, just to try to put some life back into that lineup? That is the world's deadliest team. It's like hockey is a punishment to them!

FanDuel is running bets on when they will finally win their first regular season game. That's how ass they are. I wish I were kidding.

On top of all this, the locker room seems like it's going up in flames. Remember the Nucks' 10-1 beating of the Sharks? Kahkonen, the Sharks' tendy, got injured after the sixth goal, when Kuzmenko ran into him. Kuzmenko and the Canucks made sure Kahkonen was alright and that it wasn't a major injury. The Sharks? They just went back to the bench!

This unironically is probably the worst team in my lifetime, and maybe for decades before I was born too. They're just so BAD. There's no redeeming reason to watch Sharks games at all except to laugh at the Sharks as they get 10 goals dumped on them.

How screwed are they? 10/10*. I'm sorry, but fucking Zetterlund is leading your team in goals. ZETTERLUND. I cannot name ONE player on that roster who I would send to an All-Star Game. Maybe Blackwood, if he doesn't crumble into fucking dust first. And knowing how injury prone he is, he just might.

But this is a 10/10 with an asterisk. And here's why: * They WANT to be bad. The worse they do this year, the better their chances for Celebrini or whoever is the first overall. That's the idea of the Shark Tank. And if that's the goal, it's being executed perfectly.
