Boobiegate masterpost

We know what they did this summer - and oh boy, was a it a wild summer that - unfortunately for us - stretched into autumn and beyond any reason.

I will first go over everything as it happened and then - because when you look back at everything you realise some timelines overlap - I’ll try to clarify some stuff and put it into perspective.

NOTE: I’m writing the dates from a GMT time zone point of view (aka. UK time)

So let’s start from the beginning. 

Briana breaks up with Brody Jenner after dating him for some random attention seeking period. (June-September roughly)

September 23rd

So on September 23rd we’re flooded with articles about Brody and Bri breaking up and Bri getting back together with her “on-again off-again (boy)friend Nick” and the biggest surprise “BRI IS ENGAGED”

So the story is: 

Bri ended her relationship with Brody because “they were moving too fast” and he had “already met Freddie” 

She then gets back together with her on-again, off-again bf Nick Gordon 

She, her family, and Nick go on a “whirlwind” trip to Las Vegas (MIND YOU IN THE MIDDLE OF A PANDEMIC) 

Bri and Nick get engaged during those Covid inviting few days in Vegas (September 21st- September 23rd) 

Articles drop about how they’re engaged and she’s broken up with Brody (Sept 23rd) 

Bri, family and Nick all share a huge amount of Vegas pictures of them in love, Bri’s ring, Bri and Nick being a couple (pictures obviously taken before Vegas to hopefully make someone believe that this in no way is a whirlwind engagement after just knowing each other a few weeks. Did they convince anyone? Well if you are convinced - I’m worried for you)

At first the engagement pictures on Nick’s IG were just him and Briana and he used the #/shesaidyes. After a few days and probably after they realised it would be a smart move to acknowledge her kid she claims to have too (👀) he deleted those and on September 28th posted new pictures with a new caption and new # of course. This time “theysaidyes”.

But, moving on.

As soon as the engagement news drops, we have Nick - our “good-guy firefighter” making a new and public IG account, flooding it with pictures where he professes his love for Bri and soaking up the d-list association fame.

So in the coming weeks we get a lot of Nick, Bri and their families on IG. They post a lot about being constantly together.

What was the most interesting they really pushed the “dad” image on Nick. He was constantly posting about Freddie and even in Bs or Tammi’s stories he was always seen interacting with F the most.

Then after it seemed like the new fiancees had settle into their soon-to-be married life and everything seemed rosy for them - we get hit with the whammy BOOBIEGATE.

Because hell hath no fury like a sugar daddy scorned.

October 15th

On the 15th of October celebtm a gossip site, posts the next picture and caption on IG:

Basically, they’re saying a guy - his name unknown yet - contacted them to tell them how Briana scammed him out of money she borrowed to get a boob job. Specifically 5k USD. He claims he filed the case in court and it’s dated January.

They ask if anyone else has similar receipts or anything about her and that they’re investigating and will be writing a story. And the comments have a lot to say about Bri.

October 19th

4 days later on October 19th celebtm posts another IG update about how they have the court filing and how their article is in progress.

October 21st

2 days after the last IG post celebtm finally posts their article - on the 21st of October

October 26th

On October 26th celebtm posts the second part of the article. It’s messier, with a more confusing timeline than the first, but tries to “spill” more details on Sugar Daddies relationship with Briana and her life in general.

Also by now we know his name - Michael Strauss. An investor in Warwick club in LA.

October 27th

Then a day later we get another IG post - no new article - just more excerpts from what the Sugar Daddy told celebtm.

Then it’s quiet for a few days and when you think this can’t get even more trashy - low and behold the circus that is called October 29th.

October 29th

So after a few days of silence celebtm strikes again, but this time they bring in TV’s most loved judge - Judge Judy. Apparently the TV show was willing to take this litigation and air it as an episode.

As always, they post an IG post and a caption, and the article mentioned in the IG caption below is basically an article written for clicks about Louis and Harry because they saw the larrie part of the fandom was getting them clicks. I’ll leave the link to the article here for documentation purposes, but honestly there’s nothing in there worth giving them clicks for. Not a thing. The title of the article is “A Complete Guide to 1D Members Louis Tomlinson and Harry Styles’ Rumoured Relationship”

November 6th

We see the sudden return from social media exile of Bri to IG. She’s back - with a post and the description ironically saying “I’m back”. I refuse to post it because does anyone really want to look at her face-tuned selfies? 

November 9th

Then after weeks of radio silence, the return of Bri to IG, we get what is apparently the - very underwhelming - like Bri’s boobs to Sugar Daddy who never got to see them - conclusion to this Sugar Daddy drama. This following article which is basically a letter from Michael to Briana telling her how he’s giving up on the lawsuit, taking this as a life lesson and how he hopes no one else falls for her scams. So, here we currently are. After watching that circus show no one wanted not paid for (well except the Sugar Daddy, and he didn’t even get to see the thing he paid for - so sad.) we’re in November and the Jungwirths and company are back to their carefree posting on IG. 

Current status:

The lawsuit seems to have been dropped. 

Everything seems to be in process of being swept under the rug.

Nick - the loving fiancee - is back to IG too. All of his happy, loving pictures with Bri still up (some deleted) - so we must assume their love survived Boobiegate.

As for overlapping timelines:

The timelines overlap mostly during the months March-October with it being said Bri dated Brody, but was also taking money from Boobie Daddy who was helping her during the pandemic, and was later also apparently starting a serious relationship with Nick.

What actually went on - I don’t know. And I’m honestly not interested to find out. This is being mentioned just so anyone coming across this post knows that yes - you didn’t read it wrong - the timelines do overlap with different people saying different things and Bri being tied to all three men at those times without any real clear timeline for the relationships.

So far this is all there is to this mess. If there’s more - I’ll do a part two or addition.

I’d like to end this with saying - these masterposts are 95% just me making them for myself because I forget stuff, and so much goes on in the fandom that if I want to keep up with it all, I need a nice timeline for things. I’m posting this for anyone wanting to make sense of this circus too or just to put it into a timeline. I did fact check all the dates, posts, IG pics, links and so on - but mistakes can happen - if there is one feel free to let me know.

Insiders confirm that her and Justin are staying at the luxury boutique hotel Inn at the Forks in Winnipeg.

That evening, Justin again rents out an entire movie theatre for a date with Selena -he arranged for a screening room at the SilverCity Polo Park Cinemas to be kept empty so he and Selena could watch Real Steel' in private, and also rranged for pizzas to be delivered to the cinema for him and Selena to feast on during the movie.

A source at the venue said: "They made sure to keep everything really under wraps and private. He was really polite and they both thanked everyone before they left."

Justin takes Selena to a hockey game to watch his favourite team, the Winnipeg Jets, from a private suite at the MTS Centre wearing matching jerseys with their names emblazoned across the backs. According to onlookers, they spent most of the game kissing and cuddling one another.

Justin gives an interview to Today Show to dismiss Mariah Yeater’s claims and says he's never even met her:

“I would just like to say that none of those allegations are true.”

“I know I’m going to be a target, but I’m never going to be a victim,” Justin added.

“It’s crazy, because every night after the show I’ve gone right from the stage right to my car. So it’s crazy that some people want to make up such false allegations.”

A statement released by Justin’s publicist on Wednesday said his lawyers had not seen the suit reportedly filed by Yeater, but said:

“it’s sad that someone would fabricate, malicious, defamatory and demonstrably false claims. We will vigorously pursue all available legal remedies to defend and protect Justin against these allegations.”

Taylor Swift really is the creative brains behind Calvin Harris' monster hit "This is What You Came For," and their relationship fell apart because he disrespected her when the song was released ... this according to sources connected with Taylor.

It's a fascinating story. We've learned an early fan rumor about the song is true, but to a deeper extent than anyone suspected. During their relationship, Taylor wrote the song, sat down at a piano and did a demo into her iPhone. She sent it to Calvin, who loved it. They both went into a studio and did a full demo with Taylor on vocals and Calvin doing the beat.

They both knew the song would be a hit, but Taylor wrote it for Calvin and both agreed it was a bad idea to let the world know they collaborated as a couple ... it would overshadow the song.

So Taylor, who kept the publishing rights, used the pseudonym Nils Sjoberg on the credits.

one of the funnier fic ideas that i never got around to finishing was a taakitz fic wherein the thb go adventuring and taako is kind of getting his ass kicked because of his low AC so merle is like “well i can fix that but you have to get married” (ceremony spell) so he marries magnus and taako on the condition that they will divorce immediately after the AC boost from ceremony spell wears off, only to find after going home that legally they have to wait like a year before being allowed to do that. taako is understandably upset because he has an actual boyfriend to go home to (magnus and merle are unmoved, and magnus continues to inform him that they don’t have to act like a married couple or anything, they’re still just friends, and sometimes friends get married to give each other a week long AC boost, but its the principle of the thing). the situation is not helped by the fact that when they explain it to kravitz, he thinks it’s the funniest thing that has ever happened and makes jokes about taako cheating on his husband 5 times a day while taako threatens to break up with him over it

anyway i found the google doc for it so here’s an excerpt from that because my fantasy tmz headlines are funny:

The Fantasy Tabloids are of course, all over it. Taako isn’t even sure who told them he got married, but his bet is on Merle. Regardless, he picks up a copy of Fantasy TMZ the next time he goes grocery shopping. There’s a blurry picture of him and Kravitz out to dinner, zoomed in much closer than wise with the photo quality. Bigger, next to it, is a photo of him and Magnus, Taako glaring at him, Magnus grinning smugly. Although it’s not hard to find photos where Taako is annoyed with Magnus, Merle should be in this shot, because he was definitely there when it was taken, but Taako supposed that didn’t fit the message.

In big red letters over the top of the page, it says:

AN AFFAIR? A LOVELESS MARRIAGE? WHAT’S THE DEAL WITH ELUSIVE SEVEN BIRD TAAKO TAACO’S LOVE LIFE?

“Little clunky,” he says, to no one in particular, but buys it anyway.

It is total garbage, he finds out once he gets home. The story is, apparently, that Taako, desperate after a bad breakup with his still unknown boyfriend, rushed into a marriage with Magnus to heal his broken heart. The article takes a detour to speculate about whether Taako and Magnus used to date, which has no evidence, and then on a series of flings Taako had, which has the evidence of every photo he’s ever taken with another man, and also curiously enough, one of him and Ren. The caption on that says to see the previous issue for that theory. 

Taako makes a note of what issue that would be so he can send it to Ren to laugh about later. He has to laugh, or else he’d be irritated at who these people seem to think he is. 

He leaves it on the table, and Kravitz picks it up later when he’s home from work, reading it over as he enters the living room. 

“But,” he reads aloud, as Taako rolls his eyes, “Taako seems to have tied the knot a little too soon, as he’s been seen out on dates with the same mysterious suitor he was with before the marriage,” Kravitz raises his eyebrows, and his grin gets a little smug, “A handsome gentleman who we suspect—”

“Oh, can it,” snaps Taako, and Kravitz laughs, tossing the magazine onto an empty chair. “I’ve been married a fuckin’ month and the tabloids are still having a fuckin’ field day.” Kravitz settles beside him on the couch, leaning over on Taako’s shoulder. Taako’s arm reflexively wraps around him and pulls him closer.

“It’ll settle down,” says Kravitz.

Chapter 36 - Til I Fall Apart

It had been a couple of days since Mat and Michelle sealed the deal with buying their first house and Michelle felt overwhelmed with everything. The two agreed that they were going to start over with furniture, Mat didn’t really care about what furniture he wanted so it was Michelle picking everything out and Marie helped out with finding movers.

Michelle was biting her lip, anxious as she was scrolling through her phone with the many emails about the gigs coming up, Emily was fixing her make-up as Michelle was doing a photoshoot.

“Stop frowning, I’m trying to do your make-up” Emily muttered and Michelle narrowed her eyes “Try doing gigs while making sure everything from furniture and any important things from your boyfriend’s apartment get to your new house.. I wish he could come back already” She snapped and Emily looked at her with empathy “I know It’s a lot for you”

Michelle sighed “Sorry I shouldn’t be using you as a punching bag. Everything has been piling up on me for a while too.. Ty’s been texting me lately and he wants to get away from mom and dad too so I told him that if he could get accepted into NYU, I’ll pay for whatever he needs”

“Have you tried getting an assistant?” Emily asked and Michelle gave her a look “I don’t really want one, I’m much happier doing everything on my own.. I had to do everything on my own anyways since I was a kid so nothing has changed”

Emily sighed softly “But you’re not alone, you have a support system right now that could help.. Tell you what, me and Tito can come over to yours and Mat’s place and help when they come back from their road trip”

Michelle sighed and shook her head “I already told Mat that I’m gonna get the house done by the time he gets back, I intend on doing it”

Emily frowned but said no more. It wasn’t until there was a knock on the door and Michelle shouted a ‘Come in’ and the door opened and Marie come through the door with a girl behind her, chewing gum.

The girl had black hair and green eyes, she was tall and thin. Her hair was straight and she was pale. Michelle saw that her cheekbones were very visible. Michelle couldn’t really tell anything from the woman’s expression, she was very hard to read.

“Girls, this is Roxie” She said as the woman was chewing gum and she raised an eyebrow on at the two girls and Emily awkwardly waved while Michelle got out of her chair and went towards the girl and stuck her hand out “I’m Michelle, it’s nice to meet you”

“I know who you are” Roxie said as she broke into a smile as she took the young girl’s hand and shook it “It’s nice to finally meet the golden child of Marie’s”

Marie narrowed her eyes at Roxie “You’re lucky that I signed you after your last management filed you.. I expect you to be behaved” She said as Roxie narrowed her eyes “Whatever”

Marie narrowed her eyes as she looked at Michelle “I want to pair you two together for a while, just until I can have a companion for her” She said and Michelle raised an eyebrow “So I’m the companion for now”

“Just until I find a good one for her” She said as Roxie went towards the table and dropped her purse on it “Emily, you’re gonna be doing her make-up as well”

Emily nodded “Yeah.. Sure”

Marie looked over “I’m gonna start putting you guys on the same gigs whenever I can, but I need to go.. I have a meeting to attend to. Thanks Michelle”

Before Michelle could open her mouth, Maire left by rushing out the door and Roxie sat there with a frown on her face nd it was very quiet for a moment until Emily pointed at the make-up at Michelle’s table “Um.. I’m gonna go to the next room and get some make-up for you.. I’ll be back”

Roxie just nodded while Michelle watched Roxie for a moment and she looked at Emily “Why don’t you get lunch or something? I’ll be fine.. The shoot isn’t starting for another hour anyways”

Emily nodded and grabbed her phone “I’ll be back in ten mins” She said before glaring at Roxie. There was something about the dark hair girl that Emily didn’t like.. It felt like this girl was going to trouble but she shook her head and she opened the door and left. The door closed and Roxie glared at the door before muttering “She has no backbone, doesn’t she?”

Michelle narrowed her eyes “She’s my best friend and companion, if you think you’re gonna start shit by me talking harshly on someone whose like my sister you’re mistaken”

Roxie scoffed and she leaned back in her chair observing Michelle and she smirked “Ah, you’re like me”

Michelle leaned forward “Like what?”

“Someone who's broken inside.. From what I’m guessing, you had a horrible relationship with your parents.. I’m sensing one or no siblings but from the look in your eyes, you had to be responsible from a young age.. But you wear a mask, you appear to be someone different in public but deep inside you just hate yourself because you want to live the perfect life.. But you’re trying that with what’s your boyfriend’s name? Michael?”

Damn she was good.

Michelle frowned for a second and she leaned back into the chair, she was looking at Roxie for a moment before shaking her head “You know nothing about me, in fact I’m very happy.. Mat and I are happy”

Roxie let out a laugh as she looked at her “But you think you’re not enough for him.. Don’t you”

“You’re really good at reading people” Michelle said, frowning as she bit her lip and Roxie grinned “I’m very good at reading people.. It ain’t hard to also look up the model that you’re gonna follow for a bit either and her relationship”

Michelle scoffed and she looked down “I don’t pay attention to any article or TMZ when it comes to my relationship.. I don’t care about what the media says about me, I could care less but I will draw the line if they attack Mat or my family”

Roxie smirked “interesting.. It’s crazy how I feel pictures of you two, how Mat looks at the cameras or you can see how visibility uncomfortable he looks when he knows there’s people following you”

Michelle was silent for a moment before sighing “Everytime we go outside, I feel a bit of me get scared.. That one day Mat is gonna get fed up with everything and just walk off.. That he goes walking away and finds a new girl that could probably give him a better life, and I’ll just be alone”

Roxie looked at her with sympathy “Yeah.. I feel you on that” She muttered before looking at Michelle and her purse “Mind if I?” She said and Michelle shrugged “Go right ahead” She said before Roxie went into her purse and was fishing for something and Michelle’s eyes widened a bit when Roxie pulled out a little baggy with pills. Michelle knew what they were straight away and Roxie looked at her baggie before opening it up and taking a pill out and quickly leaned her head back before throwing the pill into her mouth and shallowing it.

Michelle was silent for a moment and Roxie let out a breath before grinning “Helps me before any gig.. Would you like one?” She said and Michelle frowned

“If Marie catches you with that, she’s gonna flip and I wouldn’t want you dealing with her when she turns into a monster”

Roxie narrowed her eyes “I was one of the best models in my last management.. I guess I was what you were to Marie.. The ultimate moneymaker, the golden child and everything but then I got into these” She said dangling the baggy and let out a bitter laugh

“It wasn’t until my management found out and dropped me.. Then I had to enter rehab and pretend I was going clean and everything.. It wasn’t until Marie found me and checked to see if I was clean and everything I even had someone take my own urine test for me.. But here I am”

Michelle was silent for a moment and Roxie took a pill out of the bag and offered her “She won’t know, you look stressed out anyways.. This will help you calm down anyways”

Michelle looked at the pill for a moment before shaking her head “I can’t.. I need to go to my new house anyways and get everything in order”

Roxie raised an eyebrow “Even better.”

Michelle shook her head and Roxie sighed as she placed the pill in her bagg again “Fine, but my offer will still stand whenever you want it.. I gotta help a sister out” She winked and Michelle felt an uneasy feeling in her stomach as she went on her phone

She didn’t want to think about that after the gig happened.. Mostly she didn’t want Mat to know that those things were even in front of her.. But she knew that she would probably tested by Roxie a lot since she was now going to be with Michelle for a while.

Summary: A twenty year old dancer, Elizabeth Payne, is recovering from a traumatic past with the help of her older brother, Liam. The two of them have been yearning for peace for quite some time, and when a good friend comes to live with them for the summer they start their journey towards finding it.  Through ups, downs, relapses, and two albums- Liz fights through her own mind to get better.

Part Five

Two days had gone by since I had to set up some serious security on my property.  I was keeping a close eye on my sister who seemed to be doing alright.  I had expected this to throw her off or trigger something in her but she was handling it well.  Kens called me yesterday to talk about Elizabeth and how she was doing, it was our usual every other day talk.  She told me I was doing well with the new rules we set between the three of us.

“This is funny,” I said to her through the phone, “Look who’s getting help now.”

I heard her laugh and take a deep breath.

“It’s quite normal in this type of situation.  You need to be alright to make sure she’s alright.”

I sat with my sister and Harry on the couch, we were watching reruns of America's Got Talent.  Elizabeth, lounging across the sofa with her feet in Harry's lap, and I were critiquing the contestants.  If there was a singer up I would have something to say and if there was a dancer Elizabeth wasn’t shy to shout out corrections.  We both laughed at each other the entire time.  Harry sat scrolling on his phone.  Elizabeth said something to him every now and then and he would just give her a word back, eyes still on his phone.

“Harry,” I said with subtle annoyance in my voice.

“Hm?” He questioned, eyes still to his phone.

“Harry!” I said again a little louder.  Elizabeth turned her head to me and sat up a bit, looking surprised.  Harry lifted Elizabeth’s feet off of his lap and came over next to me to sit down.  He showed me his screen.  He was scrolling through twitter.  There was article after article with our names in the headlines.  

I took it from him and he sat back putting his hand across his eyes.  I opened one that had a picture of my backyard on it.  I was swimming with Liz and Harry was sitting on the edge of the pool.  

My blood started to boil.  The article talked aimlessly about how Harry was here and around my sister and I.  Elizabeth's name was mentioned many times.  More pictures came through of us swimming, one zoomed in to me and one inappropriately zoomed in on my sister.  I cursed at it and shook my head.  

I looked to Harry quickly, his hand still over his eyes.  Scrolling down further I got to pictures of me going inside, coming back outside and going back in.  There were a few pictures of Harry and Elizabeth cleaning up then playing around chasing each other.  Beside the fact these photos were taken inappropriately it was nice to see her having fun from the outside.  There were a few pictures of them still running and then Harry caught her.  And then a photo of him holding her.  And then a photo of her turned to hold him.  And then a series of photos of them so close.  I scrunched my eyebrows together.  It looked like they were moving around the patio.  A photo of them looking at each other nearly nose to nose.  And a photo of them looking in the direction of the camera.  I stared at the second to last photo for a second and then handed Harry's phone back to him.  He didn’t look at me but he took his phone back.  I stared toward him.

“Hello?” Elizabeth asked, sounding annoyed, “I’ve been talking to you both!” Harry and I snapped our necks to her.

“Sorry,” Harry mumbled and I wasn’t sure if he was talking to her or myself.

“What’s going on?” She asked again.  I sighed.

“The pictures from the other night have hit the internet,” I said flatly.  Elizabeth’s eyes went wide and then she squinted at me.  My stomach turned for only a moment.  

“I don’t know how to feel.” She said quietly.

“That’s okay,” I said in the same quiet tone nodding to her.  Then I turned to Harry who was looking right at me with sorry eyes.  We shared a second, I took a deep breath and then I nodded to him, “It’s okay.”

Later that night after we finished dinner on the patio, Elizabeth asked to see the articles online.  I hesitated but knew I had to let her read it.  Pulling her phone out of my back pocket I gave it to her.  She unlocked it and I watched her tap away.  I looked out over my fence and saw some of Matteo’s team making a round around the house.  I never felt unsafe in my home, nor did I ever think I would need extra protection here.  My home was located in the most hidden hills where I couldn’t even see a neighbor unless I drove three or so miles out.  I had been racking my brain for three days now trying to figure out how that paparazzi had gotten here, knew where to go or how we couldn’t see or put together how he even got here.  There was no car or trace of transportation.

I brought my focus down to Elizabeth again who’s eyes were scanning the words and pictures.  Her brows were pressed together in the center of her forehead as she scrolled further and further.  I quickly looked to Harry who was sitting back in his chair with his arms folded across his chest as he watched her as well, very intently.  I still haven’t had the chance to talk to him alone about the photos or what went down that night.  I didn’t know whether or not I should even ask, it's not like anything had changed with their behavior.  Nothing was weird, nothing was different.  They act the same as when he had gotten here.  

Elizabeth slowed her scroll and her reading.  Her face relaxed and the corners of her mouth pulled up the slightest bit, almost nonexistent.  My eyes looked to Harry who had taken his bottom lip between his teeth, he was definitely fighting back a smile.  He quickly took a breath and shifted in his seat, his eyes looking away from her.  He directed his attention out over the fence watching the guys walk around.  

My eyes found Elizabeth again.  She locked her phone and slid it across the table to me, avoiding eye contact with her lips pushed into a fine line.  She moved only her eyes to look up to me sheepishly.  I didn’t change my expression.

“You can... take that back now,” She said slowly.  Then she looked to Harry hopefully but he wasn’t paying attention so she turned away.  We sat in silence for a minute.  “I think I’m a little scared.” She said sure of herself.  Harry's head whipped back to look at her.

“We don’t know... where that person came from,” She said shakily, “Or what he could’ve been capable of.”

“He was a forty seven year old loser-“ Harry started.

“Who could’ve done much worse!” Elizabeth raised her voice, “Who’s to say his only intention was photos?”

“Liz calm down-“ I reached out to her.

“No!” She shouted, “That guy knows we’re here!  He knows where we live!  Who else is he going to tell!” Her eyes brimmed with tears.  I pushed my chair back and came next to hers, putting my arms around her.  She latched onto my body and cried for a moment.  Harry was sitting forward in his chair now watching her.  I didn’t put together what else we had to worry about.  I was certain I only had to be concerned about my sister's anxiety and her feeling safe, but now I knew what else I needed to worry about.  This was our first altercation here at home with anyone from the outside who wasn’t Harry or security.  Elizabeth has only left the house, at max, ten times.  And most times she didn’t get out of the car.  She was only at the beginning of her healing process and it’s been two years.  She only felt better and superior and safe at home, it has been a struggle and a stepping stone process of going out with her.  Now suddenly that feeling of safety at home was being stripped from her.  

There was no part or thing in my house that was connected to him.  No part of him or our past came in.  It was a safe space, a new safe space that was only here for us.  In fact no one had come in besides Harry or security or our parents now and then.  Now that’s been tainted.  A part of that shield around us had been cracked.  I know where her mind has gone, and who has come in.  And he is not welcome here.

“The man was in jail for a day,” I said to her resting my chin on top of her head.  She quieted her crying but didn’t stop, “He worked for a small company not even close to the size of TMZ,” We all laughed once, “And so what the photos got out.  People will see them regardless, but you know who’ll be happy to see them?”

“Who?” She asked with a sniff.

“Your supporters.  Your fanbase you know you have but refuse to believe it,” She laughed again with more life behind it.  I could see Harry smiling, “They weren’t bad pictures.  They were pictures of you looking happy and having a great time with... friends,” I used the word lightly and Harry shifted in his seat again, “And who gives a shit what anyone, and I mean anyone, has to say about them.”

“Well what do you have to say about them?” She asked me, pushing herself out of my arms to look up at me, “Because your opinion matters.  And I’m sorry.” I shot her a confused look.

“Sorry for what?” I asked, wiping one of her cheeks, brushing the tears away.  She went to speak but only looked away from me.  She stared into nothing for a moment, then looked to Harry who was staring at her, then looked back up at me.

“Nothing,” She said.  I rest my hands on her shoulders.

“There’s nothing to say about them.  They’re some crappy pap photos.  I could’ve done better than him,” I stated making her laugh.  Harry laughed along with her.

“We’re going to be okay here,” He said, “Matteo is great.  I trust my guys to protect you.” Elizabeth smiled at him and mouthed a thank you to him before pulling me into a hug.

We made a point to show Elizabeth around the house and tell her everything she needed to know about the new system and alarm.  She was introduced to all of Matteo’s team, and I was worried about that. She’s not one to take well to new people, but she held her own and shook all of their hands all while holding onto one of mine.

Once she finally felt alright she said goodnight, kissed my cheek, hugged Harry and then went off to go to sleep.

Harry and I cleaned the kitchen up in total silence.  He washed the dishes and I changed the garbage.  I wiped the counters down and then sat myself on one of the stools.  Harry finished up drying the last plate and turned to look at me, leaning against the counter next to the stove.  A safe distance away from me.

“Liam-“ He began but I cut him off.

“Harry I could say a lot of things,” I said looking directly at him.  He bit his lip and knew to stay quiet.  “You’ve come here to stay for the summer, to see my sister, to catch up with me and to be here to support us through this awful time in our lives.”  He didn’t move.  

My mind went back to the year my sister lived with us in the Syco house.  The complete opposite feeling of her living with me now.  She was young and she was free from life coming to live with me and everyone else.  I told those guys to keep a distance.  We were all young and just over twenty.  Harry only nineteen.  We were at the height of our career, the fame and the money, the girls and the parties.  I was never one for that kind of life but I knew how to enjoy a drink.  When I knew my sister was coming I became the biggest big brother jerk.  I set my foot down to those guys and let them know their boundaries.  They all agreed, barely listening, but Harry sat there with a little devil in his eyes.  He knew how to get under my skin.  While he was the most respectful, the most polite and the least likely to bring a girl home, he was the biggest flirt.  And with knowing my sister would be living in the house, I had to push to the back of my mind the thought of him crawling over top of her.  As I left the house that evening to pick up my sister I had the wrong idea of who to worry about, and I didn’t know that until over an entire year later.  An entire relationship, the beginning hidden, then out in the open completely, changing my sister and who she was, and then the ending.  The majority of it hidden.  The horrific, disastrous ending that resulted in this life we live now.  

My fear and anxiety now comes from the unknown.  That relationship didn’t affect just my sister.  I should’ve protected her, I should’ve known.  But I didn’t.  And she was in danger.  With this space treaty between us in place I was scared to death.  I started calling it separation anxiety to myself, and I only said it to Kens once.

“My sister's life is the way it is now because I was in the unknown.  Because I was blind,” I said without breaking my eye contact with him.

“That’s not your fault-“ Harry tried to speak.

“Harry, listen!  Listen to me!” I shouted.  He jumped and folded his arms across his chest looking at me with wide eyes.  “I’m sorry,” I composed myself, “My sister's past has affected me in a great way as well.  Not as bad as her, of course, but I’m still living with pain,” Harry pulled a sad face, “I know you are too.”

“Not like you though,” He said quietly, “I’ve come here for more than just her.” I looked down to my hands.

“Kens changed our rules.  To give Lizzie more space.  More privacy.  And that scares me,” I looked back to him.  He nodded encouraging me to go on, “I’m really glad that you’re here, but please tell me what happened.”

Harry uncrossed his arms and came to lean his elbows on the counter closest to me.

“We danced in your backyard,” He said with a smile.

“You what?” I asked.

“We played around like kids, we talked, and then I sang to her as we danced around your backyard.”  

I stared at him, shocked.  Elizabeth hasn’t really danced in over two years.  She was on her studio’s traveling dance team, in their elite company and had the opportunity to dance on television but had that moment taken from her.  Since then she hasn’t thought about it.  I catch her every now and then start to move to music when it’s playing, but she stops as soon as she starts.  I’ve never seen her heart go out so big to anything but dance, and that’s gone.

“I started and she took over.  I’m honestly not even sure she realized she did, but we were moving.  She misses it,” Harry shrugged.

“Yeah,” I sighed, “I’ve talked with her here and there about it, but she won’t jump back in.”  Harry ran one of his hands through his hair, stood up straight and started to wander around the kitchen.  He was shaking his head, his body language turning to confusion.

“She should,” He said frustrated, “She was amazing.  She loved it and she was beautiful.” He turned to me.

“She is, isn’t she,” I nodded watching him carefully.

“She is and I wish she just understood that.  I wish I could make her see how truly fascinating she is,” He began talking with his hands, “How wonderful and exciting she can be, and how I... I just love her,” He hesitated for only a second, “That the part of her he took away... she needs to know she still has that.  It’s still inside her,” He paused to take a breath.  I sat still, in awe, and continued to watch him.  He ran another hand through his hair and then brushed both hands across his face and sighed.

“Harry,” I egged on.

“I heard it,” He said rubbing his eyes, “I... heard it.”  He lowered his hands and looked directly at me.

“I want you to know that I would never hide anything from you.  I swear on her life I will never ever hide anything from you,” He came back close to me and put his hands flat on the cold counter, “I will never hurt her.  I will never mistreat her.  I will never make her feel the way he made her feel.”

“We’ve said this before Harry, I know,” I said.

“No,” He nearly cut me off, pointing a finger to his chest, “I love her.” He pulled a sad face and shut his eyes.  I swore he was going to cry.

“I love her,” He opened his eyes to look at me.  I stared back not knowing what to say.  Part of me wanted to shut him down, but that wasn’t my move to make. 

“Do you know what affect that could have on her right now?” I asked him as his other hand reached for his face to hold his forehead.  His eyes closed as he rubbed it back and forth.  After some time he answered me.

“Yes,” He breathed, “I do, and I want you to know I had no intention of coming here to tell her,” His hand found the counter again, “You can tell me I went too far the other night, you can tell me I need to step back.  Please tell me what I need to do, but please know that I do not intend to tell her or sway her recovery in any way.”

“Her heart is only so big right now, and her world is so small,” I said watching his eyes look to the counter and he bobbed his head, “You’ve been out living your life, getting together with friends and traveling.  She’s been here with me.  She can’t go out everyday.  She’s begun to only know what this life is like.  She’s finally comfortable living this way and when it comes time to break that and move onto bigger steps... I have no idea what's going to happen or when it will happen.”  Harry stayed still, listening.

“What if it’s another two years?” I asked, “What if it’s two weeks?  No one will know and no one can tell when that’s going to happen.”  I reached a hand across to him and put it on one of his hands.  His eyes looked to me.

“I do know that having you here will help her a lot.  You bring out a side of her that I just can’t.  I’m extremely thankful that you can be here,” I smiled.  He pulled away from me, shaking his hair and adjusting his shirt.  A smile escaped from him.

“I want her to be better.  I want her to heal, and I’ll be there for her every step of the way no matter where I am,” He said.

“I can tell you that she loves you, too.  I’m not sure it's the same way, but she does.  And so do I, Harry.  We’re brothers,” I said to him with a grin.

“We’re brothers,” He held out a hand and we shook.

We pulled a few jokes and stories out of both of us about old times.  We sat there for another half hour before heading to bed.  I glanced into my sisters room before slipping into mine and I smiled.  She was wrapped in her sheets with the hood of her sweatshirt on, sleeping peacefully.  She was going to be okay, and I was going to make sure of it.

The door to my bedroom creaked open and light poured in from the hallway.  Glancing to my clock it read 4:26 a.m.  I sat up quickly to find my sister in the doorway barefoot with a blanket wrapped around her.

“You okay?” I asked, rubbing my eyes.  She nodded as her feet padded closer to my bed.  I pulled my covers down and let her hop in.  This is something we haven’t done in a while.

“I just want to lay here for a little bit,” She said laying down beside me pulling her blanket on top of her, “Is that okay?” I shook my head at her, confused.

“It’s always okay,” I smiled and laid back down.  My eyes got heavy again and I closed them.  I was just about to fall asleep until she spoke up.

“Is it true what Harry said?” Liz whispered from beneath her blanket.  My eyes shot open and I turned my head towards her.

“What are you talking about?” I asked at more than a whisper.  She peeked only her eyes out to look at me.

“Did he mean what he said about me?” She whispered again.  I sat all the way up and adjusted myself to face her.

“What did you hear from downstairs?” We were throwing questions back and forth at one another, “How much did you hear?” I tried to pull her blanket off her face.  She snatched it back immediately and kept her face covered.

“I got up to use the bathroom, I could barely make out words, but I heard him tell you we were dancing and then... I think he was talking about me,” She said, her voice still very quiet.  I looked down to my fingers and folded them together.  I shifted my gaze all around my dark room trying to find the words to say to her.  My heart was beating faster than normal and for once I didn’t know what to say to my sister.

“He said he loved me Liam,” She said so quietly that I would need her to repeat herself if we were anywhere else other than my silent room.  Looking down at her she had only her face out of the blanket.  We stared at each other for what felt like an hour.  

The one thing I didn’t want her to hear and she heard it.  The one thing I knew she would not be prepared for or ready to handle.  The one thing that shouldn’t be on her mind right now.  I had control over this one thing for only a small amount of time, and she’s heard it, and knowing my sister she’s not going to let it go.

At the Syco house I was an overprotective brother with barely any reason.  I tried to have control of it all, and I lost it.  My relationship with my sister was crumbling at that time, I was pushing her away as I tried to keep her close.  I didn’t like myself much then, and it sure was hard for anyone else to like me.  I wasn’t necessarily everyone's favorite person then, and I don’t want to be that person now.  I don’t want to stop her from venturing out into the world of love again.  I’m not even sure where she stands with it, but I don’t want to be afraid of it.   I most certainly don’t want her to be afraid of it either.

“Liam,” She broke the silence.  Neither of us spoke.  I nodded and encouraged her to go on, “Liam, I think I like him.” My heart fell into my stomach and it felt like electricity flew through my veins.  I closed my eyes and let a breath out through my nose.

“Are you sure you aren’t saying that...” I stopped myself before I sounded ignorant.

“Just because I heard him say it?” She finished my sentence and I gave her a guilty look.  I whispered an apology to her and she sighed.  “Harry and I have always been close since I can think of... Even at the start... We talk everyday and we get along super well and he’s so nice to me.”  I watched her as she spoke.  I poked her nose to tell her to continue.

“I feel like I’ve felt this way for a little bit, maybe when his album came out,” She said.

“Elizabeth then it's been a year,” I laughed pushing her forehead lightly.

“Yikes,” We both broke into laughter, “I guess I didn’t know I was serious about it until he got here.  He’s so much different from when I last saw him.“

“You last saw him just over a year ago I believe,” I said laying back down propping my head up on my hand to listen to her.

“God, Liam,” She cheesed for a minute, gripped the blanket and pulled it back over her face.  “He’s so amazing.  He makes me feel normal and so... confident.” Confidence is a word we haven’t used about ourselves in a long, long time.  Making a mental note to tell Kens immediately at an appropriate time in the morning.  Elizabeth pulled the blanket off her and turned her face to look at me.  She had no makeup on and her hair was a mess, fanned out behind her head, little curls forming beside her ears.  She had a couple freckles on her face from the sun and a dash of sunburn across her nose.  This was my baby sister.

“It’s a little scary,” She said, her eyebrows furrowed.  I answered her, copying her face.

“What is?” 

“Feeling this way about somebody,” She answered, “I know what I’ve been through in life.  I know what happened to me.  I’m not stupid and I can handle a lot more than I think some people give me credit for.”

“You talking about me?” I asked, jokingly sounding a bit offended.  She laughed.

“No, Liam.  I’m just speaking in general, and I may be trying to convince myself too.  I know what’s happened to me, and I’m finally understanding what I can handle and what I can’t.  When I read stories about women who’ve gone through what I’m going through, their recovery is not as long as mine.  Sure the therapy still happens and counseling of course, but they are out and about no issue.” I stopped her for only a moment.

“They are also not people like us.  They don’t live the life we do.” I said.

“Of course they’re not celebrities, I wouldn’t even consider myself one,” She scoffed and I rolled my eyes, “But they can handle so much.  I want to be able to handle so much.  I want to be a stronger person and feel better and do better.”

She rolled onto her stomach and squished the right side of her face into my pillows to look at me.

“I want to be back to normal, but I’m not entirely sure how to do that,” She sighed.

“Me either, Liz, but we can figure it out together,” I smiled tucking some her hair behind her ear.

“And Liam?” She asked, her eyes falling shut.

“Hm?” I answered.

“I want to love him,” She whispered, my breath hitching in my throat, “And I want to be loved by him.”

I didn’t answer her and she didn’t say anymore so I let her fall asleep.

I sat awake for another half hour trying to comprehend the conversation I had with my sister.  I went into her phone and found the stories she was reading about women in her situation and she was right.  Some women were back and up on their feet right away.  Some took a few months, but still got right back into the game.  Some were married and some had children.  There were only two around my sister's age, and they were out and about soon after.  She was completely right and I wondered to myself why it was taking so long to get through this.  I knew perfectly well this was not a magic fix and she would immediately be better, I know not all recoveries are the same and I know that PTSD shines through everything.  My sister was nowhere near perfect, but then again who ever is.

I closed out all of her apps and I caught a glimpse of her home screen before I locked her phone.  It was a selfie she and Harry took the day we were out by the pool.  She was smiling and he was pulling a face with his tongue sticking out.  I smiled at it and looked over to my sister sleeping soundly beside me.  I put her phone on my dresser and laid myself down yet again.  My clock now read 5:18 a.m.  I sighed deeply and closed my eyes hoping to fall asleep before the sun came up.

Johnny Depp and Amber Heard Case: the Lies Told By @missterrynone

since @ missterrynone posted these lies , and blogged me when I dare to challenge it. So I have to post a new post debunking the lies she told. First of all, English is not my native language, so please bear with me.

missterrynone  posted about Johnny Depp and Amber Heard’s case trying to defend Amber and saying things like ‘here’s me citing sources from reputable news sources and providing photos making a complete fucking timeline of what happened’ But believe it or not? She’s not actually ‘making a complete fucking timeline’. What she told are only Amber’s narrative which anyone who is sane enough can notice that. 

So here’s her post 

‘Amber Heard files for divorce on May 23, 2016 citing irreconcilable differences and asks for spousal support. On May 27, 2016, she filed for and is granted a temporary domestic violence restraining order against Depp. Note: She appears at the court with bruises on her face, which in the filing she notes is from Depp hitting her with his iPhone. ‘ 

Just reading the first two paragraphs of it, and I can already know that she’s not really ‘making a complete fucking timeline’ like she claims. 

Because she left out the fact that on May 24, 2016, Amber secretly sent a letter demanding Johnny’s penthouses and utility fees, his car and $50k a month.

so you might argue that ‘but she also cited domestic violence in that letter’. YES. But ask yourself, what kind of victim would demand many things from her abuser while she was still living in his penthouses where he can attend anytime he wanted WITHOUT ASKING FOR ANY SAFETY? 

Next point. 

This is what @missterrynone posted. 

Her court filing details that Depp was abusive through the whole four-year relationship and he had substance abuse problem. (In addition there is witnesses sworn in her statement: Rose Pennington, their neighbor who accurately details her recollection of the night she witnessed and Tillet (iO) Wright a mutual friend.)

She’s totally lying or leaving out IMPORTANT information. because 

1) RAQUEL PENNINGTON (yes, her name is Raquel, not Rose. missterrynone can’t even get her name right) IS AMBER’S BEST FRIEND. 

She’s not just a random ‘neighbor. She’s her best friend who lived rent free in Johnny’s penthouses. The same penthouses that Amber demanded in her letter. You can check out many pics of them together since 2014 on her Instagram. And this is her new Instagram. She deleted the old one where there’s proof that she’s been friend with Amber for many years before Amber met Johnny. 

Even Raquel’s declaration that @missterrynone link to it herself stated that she’s been friend with Amber since 2003. 6 years before Amber met Johnny. 

2) Tillet (iO) Wright is hardly a ‘mutual’ friend. He knew Amber before he knew Johnny. He actually knew Johnny through Amber. this ‘credits him with bringing him out of his darkest period of addiction.’ doesn’t mean shit since he actually lied for her about the December incident in 2015 in the article missterrynone linked. Because he wan’t even in the same state around that time, and you can watch this clip to prove it if you are open-minded enough.   

3) iO didn’t even claim to witness anything. He stated that he only saw ‘the aftermath’ from the December incident, and that he heard it through the phone for the iphone incident. 

And this is what  @missterrynone posted.

Heard submits pictures of her abuse and his rampage through the house in addition. (We don’t have the pictures of his rampage but the reference to them in competing court filings and other lawyers pretty much prove their existence.)

1) Those pics were leaked through People magazine as they said they’re EXCLUSIVE pics. They didn’t say she submitted these pics to the court. They only stated that  In her court filing accusing husband Johnny Depp of domestic violence, They states that “there was one severe incident in December 2015 when I truly feared for my life.”

2) These are not even pics that related to the incident Raquel claimed to witness. The pics that related to the incident Raquel claimed to witness were the only evidences that submitted to court. 

and they don’t even match their claims.

according to their declarations which missterrynone herself linked to, they stated that Johnny ‘striking me and violently grabbing my face... 

but her picture only showed a squared redness? 

then they also claimed this...

I’m sorry but where is the bottle that got smashed? Wasn’t he supposed to ‘smash everything he could,’ yet there was only one picture frame broken?

And how can he ‘breaking THINGS’ in the hallway when their hallway looked like this: 

3) missterrynone said that

but then said this when it comes to Johnny Depp’s claims:  

  There is literally nothing else from this case that’s come out. It’s purely his side just speaking.

and that 

Btw lots of this ‘evidence’ on twitter is literally from just his statement.

SO WHY  missterrynone believe what her lawyers said while saying that what his lawyers say are just ‘purely his side just speaking.’?

HYPOCRITE? YES. 

missterrynone posted that 

LAPD and NYPD confirm the calls to them exist, but also I want to note here that while the LAPD found no evidence of a crime, Heard claims it was a verbal dispute and Depp wasn’t even at the scene of the crime. (Again typical behavior of an abuse victim to downplay and excuse their abuser.)

1) While left out the fact that Amber claimed that Johnny didn’t just abuse her, but breaking things and destroying things in the hallway as well.. so... 

even if AH told the police that there was just a verbal dispute.. WHY DIDN’T THEY SAW ANYTHING BROKEN, NOT EVEN A STAIN OF WINE? since they HAD TO go through the hallway? Sure, you can say that Amber and her friends might try to clean things up, but how can you clean the wine stain in a very short time?

the officers who arrived at the scene also swear under oath that they went room-to-room and observe no damage. 

2) it doesn’t even matter whether or not Johnny was at the penthouse when the police officers arrived since they stated that 

officers would have conducted an investigation, regardless of what Heard said had happened. 

Well, this is not all ofit. but It’s been a long post and my notebook battery is about to run out, so I will continue expose missterrynone’s lies later.

It feels like the whole world has gotten wrapped up in Shawn’s appearance with (Y/N) in the streets of New York. She faces some consequences.

News of Shawn’s mystery “girlfriend” caught fire and spread rapidly across all social media platforms. Fans were either happy, suspicious, or appalled. No matter what they felt about it, young girls from all over the world began to analyze and pick apart pictures of them together in the streets of New York. The group of fans they met at the diner took a video of their meeting with Shawn and that only stirred up some more talk online as well. There were screenshots and red circles and literal YouTube videos on this. It’s not like (Y/N) and Shawn were caught holding hands or making out, but all the gossips sites wasted no words and no time getting their articles out for clicks.

The video of them only caught her from the chest down, a snippet of her voice, and Shawn’s full body sat at the lunch counter. Some people were kind enough to comment that whoever this mystery girl was had really nice legs. That seemed to be the only positive aspect in all the chaos.

Bea, (Y/N)’s sister, only recognized her because of her clothes, specifically the boots she always wore. She was just as confused and shocked as the rest of the world when she called. It took about ten minutes to calm her down and explain the whole mess.

Shawn still had to leave for Toronto that night. Goodbyes weren’t even an option. His people wanted him and him alone at the airport, which (Y/N) understood. In her mind, she had already caused enough trouble.

Miraculously enough, not one person had been able to place (Y/N)’s face or social identity. She never really posted pictures of herself online and rarely allowed anyone to take a picture of her and post it without permission. Her Instagram page only had three posts, all city photography, and her profile picture only displayed a solitary bumblebee doodle. For a while, it seemed like the damage would repair itself. (Y/N) thought she may have been in the clear.

Then she woke up. More photos were published. Her phone had ten missed calls. Eight from Jason and two from Lawrence Derringer, the head executive of his branch. (Y/N) prepared for the worst.

It was Sunday by now. The Jason and Mr. Derringer opened up their offices just to talk to her in the conference room. She wore the most conservative outfit she could find in her closet.

“Ms. (Y/L/N), are you aware of the story that has surfaced about you and Mr. Shawn Mendes in the news?”

“Yes Mr. Derringer, but I can explain. Nothing happened at all between Shawn and me. I would never get involved with a client in that fashion, and as far as I know, they never even got a picture of my face.”

“I’m afraid you’re mistaken, Ms. (Y/L/N).” They present a laptop screen to her, opened to a TMZ article with her and Shawn stood at the gemstone pop-up shop. Her face is clear and visible. “This was published eight hours ago,” Jason mumbles.

“I know your intentions must have been pure, Ms. (Y/L/N). What I’m struggling to understand is why you never questioned any of the endeavors you had with Mr. Mendes. Harmless as they may have been, this could have a negative effect on our firm’s relationship with him as well as our image in the industry. Did this not occur to you when you realized you were being photographed? Surely it must have.”

(Y/N) doesn’t answer, right away. Saying no, would have been a lie. She did consider the possibility of them getting a little publicity, but she didn’t think so far ahead about how that might affect the company.

“I suppose you’re going to have to fire me then?”

Mr. Derringer glances at Jason, then back at (Y/N). “Fortunately, no. You will not be fired for this. Apparently, Shawn called our offices several times last night trying to get a hold of one of us. He managed to reach me and said the day out was his all idea and that you should not be fired for the events that followed.”

“So, I’m not in trouble?”

“Well yes and no. I told him you would keep your job but that does not mean you can get off without some repercussions. Since Whitman was the one who hired you, I figured he should be the one to enforce that.”

Jason steps forward, looking like he was trying so hard to be authoritative in front of his superior. “I made the decision to prohibit you from attending any future corporate events where Shawn or any other Island Records artist may also attend. It’s probably for the best that you don’t see Mr. Mendes anymore in public for any reason. Your recent promotion has also been revoked as well and your salary will revert back to the earnings you made prior to said promotion.”

(Y/N)’s jaw set, keeping her tongue from saying everything she wanted to spit in his stupid Ivy League face. Everything she’s wanted to say to him for the past eight months feels like holding acid in the back of her throat. She swallowed her thoughts.

“I understand. My sincerest apologies, Mr. Derringer. It won’t happen again.”

“I certainly hope not, Ms. (Y/L/N). You’re a valued member of our staff and you contribute so much to the floor and the board. It’d be a shame to lose you over something like this. Jason will see you out. Have a good evening.”

(Y/N) is already at the elevator smashing the down button before Jason can even make it down the hall. Tears of humiliation sting her eyes as the elevator slowly takes her and Jason down from the top floor. He tries to lay a hand on her shoulder, apologetically, but she shrugs it off and steps further from him. If he was sorry, it only because he felt like he had to be, not because he actually was.

“Are you seriously pissed at me? You brought this on yourself.”

“You have no right to try and keep me from seeing him or anyone.”

“That’s what you think this is about? Maybe you ought to think twice before sleeping your way through our list of clients.”

Of course, it’s all my fault that I didn’t feel like eating alone one afternoon.

“I’m sorry. I wasn’t aware going to lunch with one man is the equivalent to shoving my tongue down his throat.”

“You might as well have been, the way you were smiling at each other in those pictures.”

“I knew it. I knew you had a problem with me seeing other people. You can go and fuck every girl in Times Square if you want, but I have to sit idly by like your personal dumping ground?”

“You can see whoever you want. Just not him. You should know better. This firm—”

“Like you give a damn about the firm. This is about you and your fat ego. “It’s that kind of thinking that keeps you behind that desk.”

(Y/N) falls silent. No more words are spoken. There was no use in trying to argue or be right. Jason was jealous again. He’d done this once before when another coworker, someone on (Y/N)’s pay grade, showed interest in her. The elevator doors finally open and she treads heavily out the front doors, never looking back.

(Y/N) spent the rest of the evening wrapped in her bed sheets, at first crying with her makeup still on, then eating leftovers and watching Criminal Minds reruns. Hearing Dr. Reid talk about m.o.’s calmed her down. She’d turned her phone off hours ago just to get some peace. Family and friends were calling and texting her non-stop yesterday evening about her appearance with Shawn. At the time it was too much to handle with possibility of getting fired still looming over her head. But now with the worst over, (Y/N) figured she should probably check her notifications for anything important.

Through all the messages from cousins and people who barely knew her, one single text from Shawn floated to the very top.

He sent it about an hour after (Y/N)’s meeting with Mr. Derringer. It’s 1 AM now but Shawn was in LA. She checks the time zones first then finds his contact and presses the call button. He picks up on the first ring.

“Hey, are you okay?”

(Y/N) grins for the first time today, more than happy to hear that soft voice again. “I should be asking you that. Every news outlet has a story on you. And me, I guess.”

“Yeah but are you okay?”

It sounds like he’d been waiting to ask her this question all day. Technically, (Y/N) was okay, but she could be better, given the circumstances. She chooses her next words carefully.

“I…I will be. I didn’t get fired if that’s what you mean. Thank you for that by the way.”

“I’m so sorry. I said everything would be fine and I should have known this would happen.”

“It’s not your fault. People aren’t that crazy about it. Your fans are being relatively nice to me, now that they know my face.”

“They know your face?”

“Yeah. More photos came out this morning.”

Shawn goes quiet for a moment. It sounds like he’s moving into another room away from the chatter in the background. “Could we video chat?” The new echo of his voice sounds like he’s moved into the bathroom.

(Y/N) looked at her reflection in the mirror on the wall across the room. Dramatic streaks of mascara still trailed down her cheeks and her eyes were still very red. She should say no, but she desperately wants to see his face. And this technically didn’t go against Jason’s stupid new rules for her.

“Give me a minute.”

She washes her face in the bathroom the best she can. Her eyes are still red when she’s done. Fuck it, she thinks. Maybe he won’t notice.

(Y/N) flops back down on her bed and opens the app. Shawn’s face pops up on her screen, riddled with concern. He’s sat in the bathtub, one in a hotel probably, wearing a white t-shirt, hair fluffy and wild without its gel. One “s” curl fell on his forehead.

Unfortunately, he does notice. “You’ve been crying?”

(Y/N) bites her lip. “Maybe.”

Shawn doesn’t speak. He just wants to look at the girl on his screen. The truth is he didn’t really have a good reason to facetime her other than just wanting to see her again. He was so sure that she would never want to talk to him again after all of this.

“I want to know why, but you don’t have to tell me,” he says.

“No, it’s alright. I’m not fired but I am never allowed to be seen in public with you again as long as I work there.” (Y/N) sniffles. “Which is fucking stupid.”

“So quit,” he mutters. The words leave his mouth before he can think twice about saying them.

“Quit?”

“I mean—I’m kidding, that’s not what I meant. God, that sounded really bad.”

“It did,” she says through a smile. “But I have thought about it. About a year ago actually.”

“What changed your mind?”

“I met someone. At work. We’re not a real couple but...” (Y/N) realizes she doesn’t have an appropriate label for whatever she and Jason are, but Shawn seems to understand. “I wasn’t trying to get ahead. I did actually like him once upon a time. But he never wanted to be anything more with me. Then he became my boss and things just moved under the table.”

Shawn thinks this time before speaking. “Was it that guy you were with at the party?”

“Damn, you’re good. How much of that did you see?”

“I saw when he tried to get you to dance. And when he was at the bar.”

“Well if this music thing ever bombs—it won’t—you should be a detective.”

Shawn gives her a weak smile. A piece of his heart broke a little when she admitted to being in a relationship, albeit a noncommittal and toxic one. Someone already had her heart and her eyes.

“Do you still love him?”

(Y/N) thinks about it for second. Love? It seemed so unattainable for her at this point. At the start, Jason was romantic but never with the usual gestures. Just clever lines and secret lunch dates on the rooftop. Then one day he just stopped. Looking back, it doesn’t seem like love anymore. Just regular sneaking around. “I don’t think we ever made it to the love stage of it all.”

Shawn slouches down into the tub more, forcing his long legs out and his feet up on the tiled wall in front of him.

“I take it back. Maybe you should quit.”

(Y/N) blinks at him. “Very funny. I may be unhappy, but I still have bills to pay. That bastard docked my salary too, so I’ll be working double shifts again.”

“No, I’m serious, (Y/N). If you go in tomorrow and put it your two weeks’ notice, you can have a job as my assistant.”

She sits up in her bed, not believing a word of what those bright pink lips were telling her. “I thought we we’re joking when we talked about that.”

He shrugs. “I wasn’t.”

“Doesn’t there have to be a few more conversations with a few more people before you just bring a new person on board?”

“I’ll talk to Andrew tonight,” he promises. “He knows who you are, and I’ve told him how hard you work.”

“I’d have to think about it Shawn. That’s a big leap.”

“I know, but I do mean it. You have a job waiting for you whenever you want it.”

(Y/N) tried feel good about this, but everything about working for Shawn scared her. She knew his intentions were good but there was more risk than that. What if she fell into the same hole she did with Jason? What would fans say? What would people think?

“I call you when I have an answer.”

Summary: How was Terrance supposed to leave Seth alone in after the disaster of a comedy show? For that matter, how could she NOT kiss him? She didn’t think anything of the paparazzi’s stolen picture until the next morning when everybody wants to know about her “Mystery Man”. It would all be okay, maybe even great, if she also didn’t have the same secret moments with Matt Rodriguez, the actor with a heart of gold.

Terrance pulled her head up, reluctantly; blonde curls falling over her bare shoulder, tank top strap slipped off her shoulder. The water Seth got for her before he headed back to his apartment was untouched. She groaned. At least her head wasn’t swirling. She had worse mornings.

 Propping herself on an elbow, she grabbed the lukewarm water and drank it in big gulps, last night coming back into focus. Seth’s disaster of a show. The kiss in the dressing room. The first round of drinks. Then another. Then another bar. Then back to her apartment, ordering pizza, and drinking beers and watching D-grade movies. Kisses, and lots of them, some small and others deep and steamy, peppered between everything.

 Finished, Terrance smiled to herself, setting the glass back on the nightstand. Seth was drunk too, but he still tucked her in, Terrance giggling the whole time, and gave her water. She touched her lips. She didn’t want him to go, stalling him with insistent kisses, but she grew too tired to keep up her resistance. Though, what were they waiting for?

 Looking at the door, she sighed, quietly. Nothing was official with Matt… or him… but why did she feel so conflicted and guilty when she looked into Seth’s eyes? Why would she be breaking somebody’s heart eventually? Could she… not? “Or you can just stop kissing cute boys…” she muttered to herself, dragging herself out of bed. She came here to act, after all. Not be caught up in confusion, even if nothing was official. It felt so small town.

 It was a quiet morning—she still had time before she had to be on set. Coffee brewing, Terrance showered, and changed, entering the kitchen just as the pot beeped. “Ugh, finally.” Pouring herself a cup, she sat on the counter and pulled out her phone for the first time. She used to scroll through it half asleep in bed… but ever since her newfound fame, she needed to be sharp—focused. Who knew if a another surprise interview would appear the morning of?

 As the new usual, notifications everywhere. Thousands of followers. She posted a picture of her coffee. Likes, instantly. She exhaled, slow. It was… she didn’t know how to feel. Matt couldn’t even relate. A text, from Chazz, well, multiple.

 Ter! Is that your neighbor??

 Girl!! Spill!

Text me the second—and I mean—the second you wake up!!

Puzzled, she tilted her head. I do live by people, yeah.

 “Oh, shit.” The photographer. Matt. Chazz sent the photo, accompanied by an article from TMZ. Hollywood’s Newest IT Girl and her Mystery Man—CAUGHT!

 She rubbed her temple. There was no denying it was her, hair, smile and all. Their lips, barely touching, pulling away from the kiss, but the photographer still got the shot. Seth’s hands wrapped around her back, gripping the fabric of her dress, like he never wanted to let her go. She gulped and set the cup on the counter.

 The tabloids picked it up. Want to know everything about him and you. My inbox is exploding. On my way to now to take you to your shoot—you have some answers to give.

 What if there isn’t any?????

 WTF TER?!

 She slouched, sinking lower and lower into herself. “Shit,” she breathed. None of this would have mattered, of course, if she hadn’t been tangled up with Matt.

 Matt was... amazing. New, fast paced, grand, and yet, genuine. It was like she could see through him and he to her. He wasn’t just an actor, he was a person who just wanted to feel normal once in a while. She knew he liked how she grounded him and made those parts of him flourish in their short time as more close than friends—and coworkers—should be.

 Seth was also… amazing. Soft, gentle, funny, and familiar. Like home. That might be the Midwest connection, but it was deeper than that. She lost herself in his blue eyes and she would do anything to protect him, and him to her. With him, she felt at home, at ease, comfortable in the insanity of her new life.

 Nothing was official with either. But, somehow, she felt that she picked the two men in Hollywood who might actually care if she was conflicted between two people. She should have told them, but life was coming at her all too fast. She just wanted to see them when she could and see if there was a connection for something more there. If there was. And for Matt… she could only hope he didn’t pay attention to the tabloids anymore. She’s rather tell him in person than have him see… that. The picture.

 Another text notification. Not from Chazz. Matt. Her heart leapt to her throat. She was about to open it when the knocking started. “Coming!” She slid off the counter and nervously rubbed her hands together.

 She opened it and there was Seth. He offered a smile. “Hey, Iowa, got some more coffee?”

 She nodded stiffly. “Yeah, help yourself.” He walked in and she popped her head out into the hallway… just making sure nobody was there. There wasn’t.

 Terrance bit her lip and joined him in the tiny kitchen, picking up her still warm cup. She really should write a book on how to feel like a shitty person within one minute. Bestseller. “Umm… so…” she started. “Thanks for the water, it was a lifesaver.”

 Seth chuckled, eyes crinkling. “Always, Iowa.” They paused. Her phone on the counter with Matt’s text. “So… that picture….”

 She shook her head. “I’m so sorry, Seth, I didn’t know that he’d follow me and get that and…”

 “No, no, it’s okay. Well, I mean an invasion of our privacy, but look at this.” He pulled his phone out of his pocket and showed her the screen, filled with notifications too. Texts, emails…. She squinted her eyes and cocked her head.

 “They figured out my mystery man, huh?”

 “Clubs are asking me—asking me—to do stand up for them. Can you believe it?” He sounded incredulous, but Terrance saw the smile on his lips. It warmed her heart. Well, maybe one good thing came from the picture. Could that outweigh the bad?

 She kissed him on the cheek, smiling. He raised his eyebrows but then smiled, truly. “I’m happy that that happened, Seth. You deserve it.” He sipped his coffee, free hand tucking a wild curl behind her ear.

 “The next thing… what do you want me to do next?”

 “Hmm?”

 “If people ask, I’ve got tabloids wanting to interview me, to give the scoop on you, us, and… it’s not my place to speak for you, if you want to say anything.” Her phone buzzed again. She broke her gaze from Seth’s blue eyes. Matt’s name, again. She frowned, heartbeat speeding. Oh god oh god oh god.

 “I… it’s a little crazy, isn’t it?” she said, shaking her head. “Just a kiss and bam, suddenly everybody cares about my personal life. I shouldn’t be complaining… but…” Terrance trailed when his happy smile was gone. He stared into his coffee. She grit her teeth and replayed her words. Just a kiss.

 Seth was still quiet. Her phone, buzzed, again. “Listen,” she said, moving next to him, nudging his side. “Please don’t talk to the tabloids. If… if this is something, let’s have this move at our pace, okay? Not what Hollywood wants.”

 He nodded, looking at her now. “Will do, Iowa.” Then, he cupped her face, fingertips lingering on her skin before he kissed her lips, so gentle. So unlike the one kiss in the hallway of their apartment the moment they entered it last night…. Terrance shivered. “For the record, I do hope that this will be something, someday,” he said after the kiss.

 Me too, Terrance wanted to say, but couldn’t because she wasn’t sure of the truth herself. Instead, she kissed him, biting his lower lip exactly how he liked it. A small moan from the base of his throat. And suddenly, she was writing the sequel of How to Feel Like a Shitty Person in One Minute, aptly titled How to Become a Bigger Piece of Shit Than You Already Are. “I think you have some new jokes to write up, Mystery Man,” she whispered.

 He laughed, eyes twinkling, bright with possibility. “That I do, Iowa. Have a… er, story to tell when you get back from your shoot today.”

 Terrance picked up her phone. It buzzed. Again. The third book of her human shit trilogy was on its way. “I’ll have a novel by the end of this movie.”

 Seth grinned. “See you later, Terrance.” He kissed her cheek and headed out. Instantly, the ease, despite the situation at hand, disappeared. Terrance grit her teeth, and stared at her phone. Now or never.

 Taking a deep breath, she swiped, opening up Matt’s messages.

Rapper ASAP Rocky (real name Rakim Mayers) is currently sitting in a Swedish jail after he was involved in a street brawl in Stockholm earlier this month. Now, his celeb friends are boycotting, signing petitions, and calling out injustice in his defense.

  A petition demanding the Harlem rapper's release from a Swedish prison was launched by his Hip Hop collective, ASAP Mob. They allege he has been denied the right to fair representation and that he's being held in "inhumane conditions." He filed an appeal on Monday (July 8th), but it was denied, so the Swedish court ordered him to spend two weeks in pre-trial detention while police investigate the incident.

                  #LaLaAnthony posted up a petition to #freeasaprocky, and ish went left quickly. Commenters basically said that since ASAP “couldn’t relate” to Ferguson and didn’t feel the need to stand up for black people facing injustice because he’s not Al Sharpton (all of which he said in a #TimeOut interview), folks said they can’t relate to him being locked up in Sweden either. It’s above them now.

So, why are folks mad?

People haven't forgot about the time he turned a blind eye to racial injustices a few years ago. In 2015, ASAP made some comments about Ferguson and the #BlackLivesMatter movement that rubbed people the WRONG way.

In the Time Out interview he said: 

“Let Kendrick and J. Cole deal with that sh*t,” he retorts. He starts rapping from his record, moving his hands while swooshing through the room on his board. He goes into the song “Dreams,” spitting, “I just had an epic dream like Dr. King / Police brutality was on my TV screen—I specified ‘TV’ because I was in London. Why would I feel compelled to rap about Ferguson? I’m not about to say that I was down there throwing rocks at motherf*ckers, getting pepper-sprayed. I’d be lying. Is it because I’m black? What the fuck, am I Al Sharpton now?” He halts the electronic skateboard and looks me in the eye. “I’m A$AP Rocky. I did not sign up to be no political activist. I wanna talk about my motherf*ckin’ lean, my best friend dying, girls, my jiggy fashion and my inspirations in drugs. I live in f*cking Soho and Beverly Hills. I can’t relate. I go back to Harlem, it’s not the same. It’s a sad story. I gotta tell you the truth. I’m in the studio, I’m in fashion houses, I’m in these b*tches’ drawers. I’m not doing anything outside of that. That’s my life. These people need to leave me the f*ck alone.”

  The online petition alleges ASAP is being held in "inhumane conditions," which include him being locked down in solitary confinement in unsanitary conditions.

On Monday, July 8th, we filed an appeal with the Swedish Supreme Court to have Rocky released from the inhumane conditions and the clear violation of human rights. They rejected the filing, which means Rocky will remain in prison for two weeks. The conditions of the facility are horrific. Some of the inhumane conditions Rocky and his colleagues are facing at the Stockholm Detention Center include 24/7 solitary confinement, restriction of amenities for the most basic of human functions, access to palatable and life sustaining food as well as unsanitary conditions.

TMZ also reported ASAP was being held in a cell next to someone with "severe mental issues who slams his head against the concrete wall and hurls feces every which way... feces that are not cleaned up." A source reportedly told them he was being made to sleep on a yoga mat with no blanket, drink water that was not clean, and had only been given an apple to eat each day during his first five days at the prison.

However, that may or may not be the case.

  Fredrik Wallin - the governor of the prison where the rapper is being held - refutes the description of the facility that has been released in the media.

“The Swedish Prison and Probation Service has a policy not to comment on individual cases or prisoners,” Wallin told PEOPLE. “However, we can refute the picture of prison Kronoberg which is described in the article in TMZ. To exemplify, prison staff and prisoners drink the same municipal tap water.” 

Wallin said prisoners at Kronoberg normally live in cells that contain a desk, a bed with a mattress, and a TV. He said the prison was renovated in the last few years, with all the prison cells being reconstructed, leaving the prison in "good condition."

"I have no knowledge on any current diseases in the remand prison," Mr Wallin told Newsbeat.

In fact, Swedish prisons have been considered the model prison system.

The Cosby actor job-shamed for bagging groceries just landed a major acting role.

People who can’t handle criticism, rejection, and long periods without a steady paycheck don’t make it very far in the arts.

Only those with dogged persistence and a drive that won’t be throttled are able to stay the course. A fantastic example of this type of dedication is actor, teacher, and former Trader Joe’s employee, Geoffrey Owens.

Owens played Cliff Huxtable’s (Bill Cosby) son-in-law, Doctor Elvin Tibideaux, on “The Cosby Show” from 1985 to 1992. Since, he has worked consistently as a guest star on numerous TV shows including: "Law & Order," "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia," and "Lucifer."

He has also taught acting and directing classes.

To continue pursuing his art, 15 months ago, Owens took a job at Trader Joe’s in Clifton, New Jersey 15 where he worked as a cashier. Owens was photographed on-the-job by a woman who noticed him from “The Cosby Show” and the photos emerged in The Daily Mail on August 30.

Images of Owens looking uncomfortable while being photographed quickly went viral. Countless news organizations ran “where are they now” stories on Owens that seemed to ridicule his new job.

But as the story spread, people praised Owens for doing whatever he could to keep acting. Others used Owens’ story as an opportunity to fight back against those who shame people for their jobs.

Owens appeared on “Good Morning America” wearing his Trader Joe’s name tag where he proudly proclaimed that "Every job is worthwhile and valuable.”

Now, TMZ reports that Owens has accepted a 10-episode role on Perry’s hit OWN drama, “The Haves and the Have Nots.”

He will fly to meet up with the production next week and will promptly begin shooting.

Meghan reportedly cried before her wedding because her dad wasn’t there

When Meghan’s engagement to Prince Harry was announced in November 2017, her father’s name was included on the statement from Kensington Palace. Though Thomas hadn’t met Harry, the two had spoken on the phone and seemed to get along. Meghan’s plan was for Thomas to walk her down the aisle.

Thomas (and the rest of Meghan’s family) had come under a great deal of press scrutiny thanks to Meghan and Harry’s relationship. And a few weeks before the wedding, some surprising paparazzi photos of Thomas were published. The images included him getting fitted for a suit (presumably for the wedding), studying a book about Britain and looking at pictures of Meghan and Harry online. Just days before the wedding, the Daily Mail revealed Thomas had coordinated with a photographer to stage the shots.

Thomas then decided not to attend his daughter’s wedding due to embarrassment. Yet though Thomas had initially lied to Meghan and Harry about his involvement in staging the photos, and had received money for them, they still wanted him at the wedding. He decided to attend — but then heart trouble intervened. Thomas told TMZ his heart surgery meant he would not be going to England. According to Vanity Fair, an observer saw Meghan cry before getting married as she thought about her father not being there.

She begged Thomas not to speak to the media, but he has not listened

Harry and Meghan had counseled Thomas not to engage with the media and were therefore surprised, according to a source speaking with ET, when Thomas was interviewed by Piers Morgan on Good Morning Britain in June. On the show, Thomas not only shared that Meghan and Harry longed for a baby, but he also brought up Harry’s views on Brexit and Donald Trump (commenting on politics is a breach of protocol for royals).

Thomas was soon talking to British papers as well. In July, the Daily Mail published an interview with him in which he complained about being cut out of Meghan’s life: “What riles me is Meghan’s sense of superiority. She’d be nothing without me. I made her the Duchess she is today. Everything that Meghan is, I made her.” The next month, he admitted to the paper that he’d initially lied to Meghan and Harry about his involvement in the staged paparazzi photos and that he’d hung up on one of their phone calls.

Thomas also gave two interviews to The Sun in the summer of 2018. In July he told the paper that Meghan looked “terrified” in her new life. In August, he compared the royal family to a cult.

To prove how close he and Meghan had once been, Thomas shared loving notes from his daughter with the Daily Mail in December. In addition, that month he again talked via satellite with Morgan on Good Morning Britain. Though he’d been giving interviews in August, he said, “I’ve been quiet for six months, and no one has returned anything back to me, no one’s said a word to me.” He then wondered if Queen Elizabeth II could help heal the rift between him and Meghan.

Meghan asked her dad to ‘please stop creating so much pain’

Royal protocol dictates that Meghan not engage in public PR battles. But five of her friends decided to speak to People magazine for its February 18, 2019, issue about how she was being portrayed. They touched on a range of subjects, including Meghan and Thomas’ relationship. A “longtime friend” said Meghan had written her father a letter asking him to refrain from media appearances so they could repair their relationship. In return, Thomas had frustrated Meghan by responding with a request for a public photo op.

After the People article came out, Thomas showed the letter from Meghan (which she’d sent to him in August 2018) to the Daily Mail. In it, she had written, “Your actions have broken my heart into a million pieces.” She also said, “If you love me, as you tell the press you do, please stop. Please allow us to live our lives in peace. Please stop lying, please stop creating so much pain, please stop exploiting my relationship with my husband.”

Thomas told the Mail he felt justified in releasing his daughter’s letter because he had “the right to defend myself.” He also confirmed he’d asked Meghan for a photo, having written, “I wish we could get together and take a photo for the whole world to see. If you and Harry don’t like it? Fake it for one photo and maybe some of the press will shut up!” In the interview, he also offered the defense of: “Meg accuses me in the letter of cashing in but I’ve only accepted a few payments. I worked it out and if I’d taken all the offers I’ve had, I could have made $600,000. I haven’t done that.”

Meghan’s half-sister continues to publicly criticize the duchess

In her letter to Thomas, Meghan also wrote, “I pleaded with you to stop reading the tabloids. On a daily basis, you fixated and clicked on the lies they were writing about me, especially those manufactured by your other daughter, who I barely know.”

Thomas’ other daughter, Samantha Markle, is a product of his first marriage who is 17 years older than Meghan. Though the half-sisters are estranged, Samantha has been publicly criticizing Meghan since at least November 2016 (long before she was left off the wedding guest list). Shortly before Meghan’s wedding, Samantha’s daughter told the Daily Mail that Samantha “hasn’t liked Meghan since essentially she was born,” and noted, “She’s just been overall jealous of Meghan as soon as she got famous.” 

It seems less likely that Samantha will receive an invite from the queen to come over for tea and crumpets than she is to step out of the media spotlight and stop talking about Meghan. According to The Sun, she’ll make appearances (and receive payments totaling around £100,000) after Meghan’s baby arrives. As she’s still in contact with Thomas, Samantha will continue to be a complicating factor in Meghan’s relationship with her father.

Prince Harry told Thomas the press will ‘eat you alive’

In his August 2018 interview with the Daily Mail, Thomas said, “Harry told me that I should never go to the press. That it would end in tears. He said, ‘They will eat you alive.’ He was right.” Yet Thomas hasn’t stopped talking.

At the moment when Thomas revealed Meghan’s private letter, his daughter was seven months pregnant, and still adapting to a very different life in a new country. Only time will tell if his complicated relationship with Meghan will mend itself.

People who can’t handle criticism, rejection, and long periods without a steady paycheck don’t make it very far in the arts.

Only those with dogged persistence and a drive that won’t be throttled are able to stay the course. A fantastic example of this type of dedication is actor, teacher, and former Trader Joe’s employee, Geoffrey Owens.

Owens played Cliff Huxtable’s (Bill Cosby) son-in-law, Doctor Elvin Tibideaux, on “The Cosby Show” from 1985 to 1992. Since, he has worked consistently as a guest star on numerous TV shows including: "Law & Order," "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia," and "Lucifer."

He has also taught acting and directing classes.

To continue pursuing his art, 15 months ago, Owens took a job at Trader Joe’s in Clifton, New Jersey 15 where he worked as a cashier. Owens was photographed on-the-job by a woman who noticed him from “The Cosby Show” and the photos emerged in The Daily Mail on August 30.

Images of Owens looking uncomfortable while being photographed quickly went viral. Countless news organizations ran “where are they now” stories on Owens that seemed to ridicule his new job.

But as the story spread, people praised Owens for doing whatever he could to keep acting. Others used Owens’ story as an opportunity to fight back against those who shame people for their jobs.

Owens appeared on “Good Morning America” wearing his Trader Joe’s name tag where he proudly proclaimed that "Every job is worthwhile and valuable.”

One of Owens’ supporters was media mogul Tyler Perry who praised his hustle and invited him to come work on his TV show.

Now, TMZ reports that Owens has accepted a 10-episode role on Perry’s hit OWN drama, “The Haves and the Have Nots.”

He will fly to meet up with the production next week and will promptly begin shooting.

Ben Affleck’s estranged wife, Jennifer Garner, was spotted driving him to rehab in LA.

According to TMZ, the troubled 46-year-old finally agreed to check into a state-of-the-art rehab clinic after Jennifer begged him to get help. According to some witnesses, she was spotted in the car with a lawyer and carrying a bible.

The actor was seen arriving at The Canyon, a live-in rehabilitation clinic set in 120-acres near the Malibu coastline, where he is expected to check-in for an ‘extended period of time’ after falling off the wagon ‘a while ago’ and getting ‘progressively worse’. The website claims that Garner ‘read him the riot act’ and persuaded him to check-in for the sake of their children.

The two-time Oscar winner has been open about his recovery and continued treatment, posting on his Facebook page in March 2017:

I have completed treatment for alcohol addiction; something I’ve dealt with in the past and will continue to confront. …

The Hollywood actors signed their divorce papers in May 2017, citing irreconcilable differences.

Jen posted a statement via Facebook, hitting out at claims that she spoke to People magazine in detail about her love life.

“It has been brought to my attention that there is a People magazine cover and article out today that appear to be coming from me,” Garner wrote. “It isn’t unusual for me to receive calls from loved ones thinking I forgot to tell them I am pregnant–with twins!–(Geez Louise), but those are so ridiculous they’re easy to ignore.

“This isn’t a tragedy by any measure, but it does affect me and my family and so, before my mom’s garden club lights up her phone, I wanted to set the record straight: I did not pose for this cover. I did not participate in or authorise this article. While we are here, for what it’s worth: I have three wonderful kids and my family is complete.”

Ben and Jennifer first announced their split in 2015, and there has been speculation about their relationship status ever since. Ben announced earlier this year that he has recently completed treatment for alcohol addiction.

Last summer, a source told Entertainment Tonight that the pair, who separated a day after their 10 year wedding anniversary amid rumours that the 43 year-old actor had been unfaithful, were trying to work things out.

In 2016, People also reported that a source close to Garner had told them: “Ben wants to get back together. He wants her back.”

In March 2016, Ben Affleck broke his silence on his split from Jennifer Garner following her honest interview with Vanity Fair last month.

In an interview with the New York Times, Ben discussed his upcoming movie Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice, and touched on his current relationship with ex-wife Jennifer after their marriage broke down last year due to his rumoured infidelity.

Referencing Jennifer’s recent interview with Vanity Fair in which she said “I don’t hate him”, Ben responded by saying: “Jen’s great. She’s a great person. We’re on great terms. I just saw her this morning, so that’s the reality that I live in.”

After their split details emerged about Ben Affleck dating their former nanny Christine Ouzounian. “Let me just tell you something. We had been separated for months before I ever heard about the nanny. She had nothing to do with our decision to divorce. She was not a part of the equation,” Garner confirmed. “Bad judgment? Yes. It’s not great for your kids for [a nanny] to disappear from their lives.” Months later, she’s still assessing the damage. “I have had to have conversations about the meaning of ‘scandal.'”

But she doesn’t want people to hate him, or blame him, as she told the mag so sweetly: “People have pain – they do regrettable things, they feel shame, and shame equals pain. No one needs to hate him for me. I don’t hate him,” she claimed. “Certainly we don’t have to beat the guy up. Don’t worry – my eyes were wide open during the marriage. I’m taking good care of myself.”

But now what? The mum of three has plans to look after herself. “I definitely put a lot of time towards my marriage that I will now have for myself,” she explained. “I don’t know how I will use that.”

Something else she’s learned is independence. “It’s not Ben’s job to make me happy,” she said. “The main thing is these kids – and we’re completely in line with what we hope for them. Sure, I lost the dream of dancing with my husband at my daughter’s wedding. But you should see their faces when he walks through the door. And if you see your kids love someone so purely and wholly, then you’re going to be friends with that person.”

On 30 July 2015, Ben Affleck denied that he was dating his children’s nanny, Christine Ouzounian, after US Weekly claimed that he had moved on with the 28-year-old.

The actor, who confirmed his split from Jennifer Garner the month before, after 10 years of marriage, made a statement in which he called the claims “garbage”.

His rep said that “all allegations of a romantic relationship are baseless and untrue”, before adding to New York’s Page Six: “The story is complete garbage and full of lies. “They would hang out without the kids. And they were very flirty,” a source said. Apparently Christine has told friends “this is true love”. The publication went on to claim that Jennifer fired the nanny after she discovered how well the pair were getting on. Obviously this has been denied by the Affleck camp too.
