JJK characters playing Genshin Impact

Work and School are taking the majority of my time so here's this ig :/

Gojo Satoru:

I know for a fact he plays Kazuha bc Kazuha is good in every team ever. He also likes playing Ayato sometimes.

He's also definitely a whale- he spends so much money on Genshin and has multiple 5 star characters and their weapons at C6 R5.

He doesn't have very high exploration though because he doesn't have a lot of time to play. He's a very casual player despite the amount of money he spends on it. Just logs in to do his dailies, perhaps fights a boss or two.

HATES the Aranara quest because he can't find any of them and refuses to use any "cheats" (looking up where to find them)

His favourite element is most likely Anemo and his favourite region is Fontaine.

Suguru Geto:

I highkey think Geto likes morally grey characters bc he can kinda relate to them.

He likes Raiden bc of the archon quest and her character quest. In other words, he just likes her lore involving Makoto and the other archons.

He's spent some money on genshin. Like buying the Welkin or a character skin or two, but nothing too crazy.

His favourite events are Windtrace and the Golden Apple Archipelago. He also doesn't care too much for the Aranara quest but he likes the primos he gets out of it. He has a few areas at 100% exploration but most of them are between 80%-95%.

his favourite element is Electro and Dendro and his favourite region is Inazuma.

Megumi Fushiguro:

Megumi's favourite 5 star is Xiao bc he has a cool character design. He likes Xiao's tattoos and he likes his skill and burst, as well as his lore and his ties to Zhongli.

Bc of this, his favourite events are the annual Lantern Rite events. He didn't care too much about Xiao at first but then liked him after the story quest where he saved the traveler from falling.

Highkey he's saving up for Cloud Retainer

He's f2p and gets most of his primos through exploration.

Favourite element is Anemo and his favourite region is also Liyue but likes Inazuma too.

Inumaki is a Nilou defender for life! He also likes Ayaka and is an Ayaka defender too.

He just likes the characters that are constantly mischaracterized- esp the ones that are dumbed down to "traveler's harem".

He likes any event involving Itto bc he's funny. But he especially loves Itto's Onikabuto battle events bc he likes mini-game type events.

Also another f2p bc he doesn't like spending much money when he doesn't have to.

Favourite element is Cryo and Hydro and his favorite region is Inazuma.

Panda:

Panda likes Itto bc he's funny (he's the reason Inumaki likes Itto) and he likes Ushi.

He's gotten his highest crit using Itto and likes his character design. He just thinks Itto's a cool character all around (he's right).

Bc Panda is a Panda, he likes exploring Liyue even though he forgets he's supposed to open chests. He just plays to fight a bunch of things tbh. He often joins Inumaki on Co-op and they go around fighting bosses.

Favorite events are also anything that have Itto in them including his beetle battle events. And the events where you just have to fight stuff, like Misty Dungeon.

Doesn't have a favourite element but his favourite region is Liyue.

Okkotsu Yuta:

He doesn't play Genshin that much, if at all, but he only started playing because he saw Panda and Inumaki playing together one time and thought it was interesting.

He likes Chongyun bc of his relation to spirits and pure-yang energy. He once thought something like that could benefit him but quickly let that go.

He's probably only up to Mondstadt and Liyue tbh :/ Barely started the second archon quest with Zhongli and Liyue.

He likes the combat in the game but sometimes he just goes around and picks resources like the corolla mist flowers and dandelion seeds.

His favourite elements are Anemo and Cryo and he doesn't have a favourite region.

Hi! I love your Genshin fics! I see you posting a lot about LADS and it is tempting me to try out the game.

Is it f2p friendly? Is it very time consuming like Genshin?

dear lord it is nawt f2p friendly if you like more than one character - it really depends on how invested you are in the game imo - ramblings under the cut!!

tldr; not the most f2p friendly - you just need to be strict w diamonds/cards you pull for, time sink would be highest in the first month, then end game content once you start getting to that stage but nothing likes genshin's aranara quest. i probably played around?? three hours/day when i first started lads? which @ launch mind you

if you love dating sims + hack and slash i think its great! i love the current story arcs and the direction the game is taking w its story + characters but i think you also need to be realistic. unlike genshin where i feel like i can feasibly grind out primos via quests/explorations theres not much in lads that you can do once you hit endgame - so as long as you save up your gems for wishes + are realistic about your expecations (wont be able to get every five star, avoid trying to get all the love interests, etc) i think it'd be fine if you can be like, casual about it?

i do spend on the aeurm pass which is just welkin in lads and bc i just pull for raf ive got a backlog of 223 wishes and im currently saving a guarunteed. honestly, you could just do 3 months aerum and then call it a night bc thats like, 90 wishes if you do your dailies in conjunction and its a healthy backlog to have while you play the game. rn the game does give you 10 - 20 wishes during events which are nice so you just need to be strategic

imo i spend signiifacntly less time playing lads then i do genshin bc my cards are all levelled enough and since theres no open world theres really nothing to do post completing all the battles. theres a large time sink in the beginning but once you start getting to the higher level stuff you won't be playing as actively, esp since the story is still in its very early stages. you need your cards to (realistically) only be around lvl 30 to pass the main story stages which would take maaybee two more weeks of grinding? i believe it should only take about a month to hit the level cap (lvl 80 currently) if you do your dailies so yeah. first month is gonna be significantly busier as you learn things but then you can play much more casually than genshin

i only spend hours when im doing smth like clearing orbits (i just finished rafs 112! and thats basically like. idk spiral ig) bc that took me like. three hours today of just doing the stage over and over again so yeah!! if you wanna know more feel free to send another ask lolol thats just my currently ramblings

Me dealing with the Sumeru Archon quest:

Getting to Sumeru and the quest dealing with the festival: Bored out of my gourd.

Introduces Nahida and the repeating day part: Glued to my seat eyes peeled absolutely delighted and wondering why the writing team can't be like this all the time!

Aranara quest: Vaguely interesting for lore purposes and the sadness of long life individuals vs those who will forgot them quickly vs them losing their own memories through constant rebirth and their fear.

BUT IT DRAGS ON AND ON AND ON

Beginning of desert part of archon quest and the disappearing scholars: the only light in the tunnel was the brief excitement of meeting Alhaitham our local 'tism representative and then I was so bored and burnt out I quit the game for multiple months except for dailies to gain primos

Today: The doctor is back? We've seen the Balladeer and Tighnari was STRUCK BY LIGHTNING?!?! I'm back in my seat. Popcorn in hand and ready to roll!

Let's save the girl, name the puppet (finally I've had a name picked out for ages (fell into the research hole)), and find out what the doctors really up to.

Then it's side questing to death and the back to exploration! Not excited for dealing with the snooty little pink bird spirit thing and all it's puzzles.

Ngl bro I adored every part of the quest because the lore went crazy and the characters were all pretty cool and the twists and turns had my mind spinning the whole way through. I did not like seeing Il Dottore though I wanted to kill that man on the spot I mean shove my hand into his chest and tear his still beating heart out and then mail that shit to the Tsaritsa. I also really enjoyed the desert parts because I've always loved stuff like ancient Egyptian mythology. I like to go back and visit the desert every now and again cause it's all just so pretty! Also do not disrespect my girl Sorush. She's so funny I love her.

like it started the questline weeks ago to unlock the onion tree bc rewards and all, then cast it aside because I was told it was a very long quest

but no one told me that bitch had like 52 parts or so and would be longer than the archon quests

tho admittedly, all the primo rewards were really nice. considering I didn't only get quest rewards but also new chests, achievements and unlocking a bunch new teleporters as well as a domain. bringing me up to 245 wishes for my xiao and alhaitham funds.

-Elemental Skill: there are little gems that show up beside her night soul bar they are samplers that she designed and created herself. they will default to being geo but can infuse with Hydro, pyro, cryo, or electro if you have those elements in your party. For the gems to work, you need to have 2 of the aforementioned elements. if the requirements are met then you can use her normal attack to build up her nightsoul points and the samplers will (at maximum points) then it will reduce the corresponding elemental RES of nearby enemies! Pretty neat stuff

-Elemental Burst: does geo AOE DMG. oh oh oh annnd if you have two or more of the aforementioned elements then her burst will restore HP to active characters at set intervals. Which is fucking cool

-Passive: with her in your part, triggering a nightsoul transmission with one of your party members will allow them to regain a set amount of phlogiston

-imagine being able to casually skate up a wall AND STOP ON THE WALL gah damn

-little fun facts that were dropped she made the Pyro archon's glasses and Kachin's turbowhirly

-Aphid Treasure Trace: the aphids have been corroded so now we hunt them down and break their shields/wards inorder to purify the abyssal energy

-Nahida B-day celebration~ Chromatic Ode of Candies and Roses it looks like you get a free candace with it? Sumeru friends are planing a secret for Nahida and it's up to us to help keep that secret! Some how aranara are also involved in this...

I’d like to personally thank the aranara quest line (I forgot what the world quest is called tbh it’s the one with . That one girl whose name I forgot and the weird missing children thing etc) for being UNBELIEVABLY long and also being fantastic for primo grinding. I keep forgetting what the original plot of this quest even was but man I have 700+ primos saved already mostly thanks to it (and the future star event but like. Yeah). -Dusk

*Genshin Updates*

I don't know what it was about 100%ing the Aranara quest lines but it put me in Genshin RETIREMENT.

Only logging into to do my daily quests for primos, and doing the bare minimum to complete events for primos.

So I am just barely in the desert part of the Sumeru quests. I have not even SEEN Hat Guy even though he has long been added to my Pokemon collection.

And don't even look at my map completion, 😭 it died when I 100%ed Enkanomiya.

But...

BuT!

BUT!

Fountain spoilers dropped and I saw my MAN, my HUSBAND, the very being that got me to download Genshin in the first place!

Was getting his rerun in 4.0!

The pedal to the MEDAL.

Grinding all the events. 100%ing the chests and tickets in Mirage. Last two hours I was exploring and finishing the new enemies and resources event.

(Though figuring out how to fight the Mecha dancing couple boss had me confused, and it's only been a few hours so theres nothing online. You have to go ask the nearby guy with the camera to fight them.)

(Also considering I'm not up to date with the main story it was ten minutes of climbing the tower to get to the first waypoint since I assume getting in had to do with the main quest.)

I went from literally 0 limited wishes to 33, and I have all the Sumeru exploration, the onion, some hangouts, and the quests to build more wishes. We'll see how much I can squish in a month.
