Happy Sonic Prime Season 2 Day!!
#prince's art tag#shadow the hedgehog#sonic prime#sonic prime season 2#sonic prime s2 spoilers#sonic prime spoilers#sth#shadow sth#ok to reblog#this is the second time i've ever drawn shadow but the first time i've ever posted it#For this piece I decided to limit the color palette#and w/ the exception of the blue light ring I took the colors from two characters of a game the just got a port release recently#it was gonna be only one but the character didn't have the colors for the tech so i had to use two#im very surprised how well the character i used for Shadow's colors work well for him#also decided to make it lineless which is hard to do without using vector properties#but I did it!#I made this screenshot redraw for three reasons#1) I love Shadow and figured I was due to draw him#2) I binged watched season 1 of sonic prime and the first episode of season 2 and lost my mind over this screenshot#3) to tell the following story of what led me to binge watch this show last week#(and no it wasnt so id be ready for season 2. I didnt even know it was coming back this soon. that was a coincidence)#so when the trailer dropped for season 1 I was like 'oh this looks cool! I should watch it when it comes out' and then forgot about it#but recently someone I follow was reblogging and posting stuff about this show and it reminded me of this show but still didnt watch it#but then last friday I took a nap so I'd have energy to stay up the whole night doing something. I hadn't figured out what tho#and during my nap I had a dream that sonic and shadow were working together to take down a common enemy#and at one point in the fight Shadow got hit and slammed into a stone wall and there was a cracked indent where he slammed into it#so when I woke up I took that as a sign to start watching this show#and about 6 hours later I was head deep into this show and the tags reblogging everything in sight#(if you're a follower of mine and your dash was covered in sonic posts that night that was why)#and then it turned out the show was coming back today so that worked out great for me
