Cháoliú is a fifteen year old kid who has absolutely no idea on how to control his powers. Purple Child is Red Son’s twin sister, only a couple minutes older than him. With a quick wit and even quicker eye, you’d never guess that she’s considered the weaker of the two. When they were born, most of the magic funneled into Red Son with the Samadhi Fire, resulting in Purple getting next to nothing. As time went on and their father got trapped under the mountain, Purple began to find herself in the shadow of the oh-so-great Red Son, the mechanic, the powerful one, the most promising heir. He seemed to be everything Princess Iron Fan wanted, while Purple was… thrown aside. All but discarded. (What do you mean her view is skewed? She is 100% looking at all the facts and definitely not noticing that her brother was also neglected, shhhh) Cue the resentment buildup! Purple resorted to one-upping Red Son at any given opportunity, doing just about anything to gain any attention from her mother, but it only served to strain her relationship with Red Son, all but destroying it. So, she made up in other ways. Desperately tried to become in the image of a perfect daughter, so much so that she lost herself along the way.

Once season 2 rolls around, she realizes that what she’s doing will get her absolutely nowhere, especially given how she is under even more pressure with her father being freed. So, she devised a perfect, 100% foolproof plan—to track down the rings of Samadhi and claim the fire for herself. We all know how this ends, she fails miserably, even if she does launch her plans as soon as she realizes that the heroes are attempting to steal the rings themselves. She then decides that her best course of action is to befriend Mei, because the Samadhi fire can’t be that hard to pry from her right? Wrong! She starts genuinely enjoying Mei’s company and likes her as a person and loses sight of her original plans! Oh nooooooo! Anyways, a bit of a skill issue on her part. This throws Purple into situations she absolutely hates (having to fight LBD side by side with the people she’d rather die than associate with), however, this whole ordeal makes her realize her worth isn’t based on how she can serve her parents and she proceeds to ditch all previous plans, get her crap together, and attempt to mend her relationship with her brother. They’re on better terms nowadays. This doesn’t fix all of the problems obviously, but it’s definitely better than what it once was. She even picked up writing again! The Demon Bull family has problems man.

TLDR: Purple is Red Son’s twin sister. She has severe mommy and daddy issues that are pretty much solved by being the front line for an end of the world scenario and also because she realized that she is most definitely traumatized.

im not usually good with these, but i can share some of the ones ive really enjoyed writing:

Learning to Swim

my first in depth gill fic; just something about rain being obsessed with himself and mountain being so loving, attentive, and zoned in on rain's pleasure . . . it was after a period of writing where nothing felt "right," and i think this fic helped me tap back in to my writing voice. i wanted to showcase the emotions of teaching moments; i dont think we get to see that too often, let alone the 'clumsiness' and hesitation of them.

2. this ficlet featuring transmasc cirrus & aether

i dont think very many people read this one. but i love the idea of a magick strap where the user can feel everything while in a hot, gender affirming scene. i dont see very often that we 'trans' any of the ghoulettes, and i love the dynamic cirrus and aether have, so i thought they'd fit well here. something about he/him cirrus feels right to me, and nice to explore.

3. tough love

void's [@divine-misfortune's] fault (affectionate). we have so many discussions about quintosis and hypno kink that i love, and this was borne from one of them. omega's backwards way of showing his love, while also getting to Fuck with zephyr. going against their will to do something for their benefit, even though you know they'll wake up later and curse out omega for doing it.

4. mushy may 2024 day 5: animals

hank the raccoon and juniper the cat, two of my beloved animal OCs. theyre just fun to write about, and have a simple, yet fun love for each other. mountain, of course, is always caught in the middle.

5. Yours In The End

a fic meant really to channel negative feelings into. im still feeling a lot of the emotions that went into writing this. but also the dynamic of dew and mountain and aether's relationship after Everything Happened is meaningful in so many ways to me. the way they have to navigate a scary new world, and all they have is each other.

6. this big boy quintosis sandwich ficlet

to be honest its one of my own fics i go back and re-read all the time. i just like mountain zonked and helpless between two beefy, daddy quint ghouls, okay?

7. mushy may 2023 day 8: first time

another one of my own fics i go back to. the pause they have before falling into one another; you just know theyve danced around each other for a hot minute. but they're both new, freshly summoned. they have to figure out their own bodies, let alone who and how they want to share them with. but its just . . . easy for them to make that jump. and i do enjoy little dick mountain from time to time.

8. this terzomega ficlet

the one and only time ive written these two, though i dont know why that is. but this one i had fun with the scene setting and action descriptions, i felt like i had a clear image in my mind's eye and really put it down on paper. i really love omega and terzo's dynamic too, so that made it an enjoyable writing session. this was shortly after JHKM came out, so i snuck a reference to the line "get on your knees and start prayin'" in there.

you'll notice Lady of the Lake is not on this list, because all i did was cry about it for months, and then beat myself up to finish it for the first day of kinktober '23. it was not necessarily fun to write, but the concept itself i enjoyed, lmao

Third year at the Akademiya University (or just Akademiya for short), you've settled in nicely after moving to Sumeru City two years ago, fleeing a bad relationship with your parents. Unfortunately, you picked the first major you could get your hands on to get here and so ended up with one containing a lot of math and science - which you could usually manage before this dreadful year...

Lumine and Aether

Second years at the Akademiya after a year at Teyvat University, Lumine and Aether are your best friends. You met them right after moving to Sumeru City and it's like you guys grew up together. Global communications majors, everyone knows them and someone always has a favor to ask them. They find it hard to say no.

Ayaka

Second year at the Akademiya and a fashion design major, she is the sweetest soul you ever met and always has your back. The twins introduced you and she has been part of the friend group ever since. Ever the optimist, she tries to get you to see the glass half full even when it's difficult. She has made everyone in the group custom clothes at least once and would've made even more if you hadn't stopped her before she got burnt out-

Kazuha

Second year at the Akademiya, biochem major. He's your roommate and the first person to make you feel at home in the new city. He's the one who introduced you to the twins. His Twitter account is dedicated to drama, and he can be a tad too nosy for his own good, but his blackmail folder has never failed you.

Xiao

Third year at the Akademiya, a philosophy major and Kazuha's childhood friend. It's almost impossible to get him to use his main for anything, but he will complain about the smallest things in the most angsty way on his priv. It's a small celebration everytime he does tweet on his main, and Childe buys everyone drinks. He bonded with you over shitty bio parents and is now one of your most loyal friends.

Yanfei

Second year at the Akademiya, Yanfei pursues a criminology major. She is the one to go to whenever you're in trouble with the law - and hypothetically would help you get away with murder if you feed her well enough. You both met at a party away from the group, where you pet the house dog together for three hours while chatting. She often has to be the voice of reason but prefers going along with whatever bit the group has going on.

Childe

The oldest of the group. He dropped out a year ago and has been selling spicy pics on his onlyfans, making bank in the process and earning himself the title of the group's sugar daddy. He often offers to pay for everyone, despite the rest of you insisting that he paid three times in a row and you want to treat him instead. While he can be childish (👁👁) he is still a really good therapist friend and can make you laugh easily when you're upset.

childe / ajax — a fucking menace, that's for sure. he is a finance major, would always be the one to treat his friends whenever they all went out. sugar daddy of the group, all of them are broke fr. he was at the airport when the accident happen, and was immediately intrigued by the person saving someone. when he found out that him and the famous medic student (aka you) went to the same uni, he freaked out.

aether — a communications major. the mom friend of the group. he always has to be the one to drag the trio (childe, kaeya, itto) out of trouble and he's sick of it. but hey, at least tartaglia feeds this poor guy and pulls him out of debt, right? unlike lumine, he vlogs daily and is more active on social media. despises kazuha for not helping him with these goons he calls "friends"

kazuha — a literature major. aether is the mom of the group, while he is the dad of the group. roommates with kunikuzushi, although they barely interact with one another. is apart of the music club, which heizou is also in. definitely the best poet in teyvat uni by winning many competitions, earning him the name of "teyvat uni's best poet."

kaeya — the sociology major of the group and not surprisingly, a model. him and kazuha are always out drinking, before being caught by aether and getting a scolding. kaeya and his brother, diluc, is in the same modelling agency. really close to childe, bromancing at the most unexpected moments.

itto — the true headache of the group. he wanted to drop out of university, but shinobu didn't let him. so, he took chiropractic as his major... which worries everyone. calls his friend group the arataki gang. he and heizou gets along very well, much to your luck. calls everyone bro. he gives you stress, and being around him is so overwhelming. as someone who prefers quiteness, you dislike his loudness. but other than that, you're cool with him.

-honestly, Jean and Diluc would probably adopt you without hesitation -that makes Klee your little sister of sorts, and that makes Albedo your older brother of sorts, so you're happy -Although Jean would still be super busy like always, she'd never fail to take out enough quality time for your little family -overall Jean would definitely be one of the most caring and best moms in Tevyat -since you came to Tevyat fairly young, you're one of the few people Diluc actually shows his soft side to -like anyone who troubles you is in deep trouble, I tell you -since he's like so rich, he'd literally be your sugar daddy, no because he's literally your dad -Kaeya would be the coolest uncle ever, spoils you a lot -there are often unofficial competitions between Diluc and Kaeya on who spoils you more -you often sneak out with Kaeya and Venti to create a whole lot of mischief around the city -Diona would be one of your bffs -overall 10/10 life i daresay

LIYUE

-you'd be living alone in the beginning, and you often spend your time on the docks -that's how you meet Beidou one day, who instantly takes a liking to you -on finding that you live alone, she finds this simply unacceptable and unofficially takes you in -when she takes you to her girlfriend Ningguang, they both immediately agree to adopt you just like they adopted Kazuha -and that's how you get your moms- two extremely fruity women who love you a lot and spoil the heck outta you, even more on learning your past -so Kazuzu is your dear brother -and let me tell you, Kazuha is the BEST BROTHER EVER -your no 1 bff would be Xingxiu, since you've had some experience in ah, fanfics before -you're also and absolutely massive prankster, so naturally you and Hu Tao are besties, along with poor Chongyun and Xiangling, who are almost always on the receiving end of you three's mischief -yk, the typical Liyuean friend group

INAZUMA

-you're taken in by the Kamisatos and Thoma -they act more like your older siblings but you all love each other -you often go with them to Inazuma to socialize -your role model is Yae Miko and Ayato, which makes them proud of you, but Ayaka and Thoma are just scared of the result of someone with both Yae's and Ayato's characteristics -your bffs are Yoimiya, Itto and Heizou. Though the Kamisatos don't really approve of Itto, it doesn't stop you haha -ofc with Ayato being who he is, you get spoiled to death (i mean its necessary to be spoiled everywhere right?) -you are the only one who can actually win against Thoma in hotpot -ofc you get a really bad stomachache later so Ayaka takes care of you -you learn a few not so great traits from Ayato, and fully support Ayaka's relationships haha

*crashes inside and falls over* I have come bearing a headcanon request!! Copia wearing dresses and/or skirts... What's it like when he first discovered he liked it? Did he confide in someone about it? Did he eventually show his fellow ghouls/ghoulettes? Does he have a favorite dress or skirt? I don't need sleep i need answers!!

I think Copia has always liked the aesthetic of skirts and dresses

But of course growing up in the 70s like he did, even in a Satanic Abbey, he was aware of attitudes outside the Abbey walls about men who wore "women's" clothing

So he kind of suppressed it throughout his child and teen years until he became a Cardinal

He liked how the Cardinal robes were very dress or skirt like, loved the flow and how it accentuated his waist and hips

And nobody batted an eyelid or cared because it was normal and it's just clothes

Obviously, the fear of judgement still lurked a little so he tried not to show exactly how much he loved the feel of something so similar to a skirt or dress

He started buying dresses and skirts to wear in the privacy of his dorm room. Not lots, just a couple at first to see what styles and fabrics he likes

Discovered that he adores long, dramatic dresses with a slit up the one side in terms of more formal wear

So much so that he now has a red backless satin one that ties behind his neck and has been tailored to flatter and accentuate his figure. He loves to wear it with a small heel and long black gloves with claws at the ends when he's feeling particularly dominating

However, he also can't get enough of shorter skirts and dresses that feel floaty and almost dainty when he twirls in them

The twirling is one of his favourite parts of trying on new skirts and dresses

Has a few different short flowy skirts and dresses. His favourite of those are the ones with cute little rat patterns on the fabric

He didn't confide in anyone about it for many, many years until I'd say around the time Primo started touring the first album

He confided in his fellow Cardinal, Terzo. Terzo made it no secret that he was a connoisseur of dresses, skirts, lingerie - things perceived to be more feminine

Telling him was like lifting a huge weight off Copia's shoulders and helped to reassure him that he had nothing to be ashamed of

He did tell his ghouls and ghoulettes when the time came for him to take over as the band's frontman and to tour with them

Aether was the first one he told when he caught him trying on a new skirt in the hotel room after a show

Aether was ofc very understanding and was by his side when he eventually told the rest of the pack

The girls and Aether love to spoil him with new dresses and skirts. If ghouls had a sugar daddy or sugar mommy system, they would be that with Copia as their sugar baby (he blushes any time they joke about this and loves the thrill of that concept. Will likely have to unpack that sometime)

Rain will wear dresses with him sometimes to parties or Ministry functions

Aether has gotten all dressed up in skirts and dresses with him too, especially if he's feeling down or low in mood

There's a photo album somewhere stuffed full of various photos of him, Terzo, and his ghouls wearing skirts and dresses that he'll look through sometimes and smile at the beautiful, fond memories they've made

It reminds him of how far he's come since first realising as a Cardinal that skirts and dresses were his thing but hiding it from others

And he's damn proud of the journey he's been on to get to where he is now
