i'm drunk so just gonna say that the pain is unbearable but you have to bear it anyway. you have to bear it because the fear feeds it and it grows until it consumes everything you are and lashes out in shadow when you least expect it. but if you bear it at least it can have its stage and sing its tune and scream and be listened to, rather than becoming you and forcing you to become it until it's done because it will demand its stage, it's just whether you build it its own or let it take yours.
