Not sure if you have been asked this but what are your passions? Or what do you like to learn about/do? Also, I like your blog!
Thank you for your kind words and question! In school my true love has always been maths. It doesn’t bore me easy and I love how there is a strict method for finding one answer. Subjective subjects like English really grind my gears. This is not the case in my leisure time however. I do love analyzing texts, characters and shows but when I am forced to word my analysis in the form of an essay I lose all motivation. It’s my way or the highway.
Honestly I spend most of my time on the Internet, so my passions are mostly related to content found online. I have been a diligent fan of Rooster Teeth (look it up) for the last 5 years, I love Game of Thrones, and Tarantino films, I am pretty into the Marvel universe, I obsess over MBTI often, and I have an undying love for musicals. I have no great passion for any physical activities or sports and I in hindsight I realise almost all my passions stem from fictional universes with intriguing characters and plot.
In my free time I mostly keep up to date with content; movies, YouTube, anime, Tumblr, etc., study or just talk to myself over theories or concepts. I also love to cook (mostly deserts), listen to music (mostly alternative, punk rock and musicals), watch cartoons, read books (when I have the time), and fanfiction (when I don’t have the time) and daydream in long car rides.
Whelp that’s about it but before I go here are some of my personal favourite musicals I would highly recommend:-Les Miserables - Oh my first love! A story set in the early 1800s France about an ex-convict Jean Valjean and his tale of escaping his past and parole officer, finding forgiveness in God and the lives of a bunch of other unique, touching and humorous characters.-Hamilton - You’ve been living under a rock if you haven’t heard of this. Written by Lin-Manuel Miranda, the story of Secretary of the Treasury Alexander Hamilton and his personal and political life. The music is just phenomenal and the I’ll never know how they made a history lesson so gripping. -A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder- The hilarious story of Monty Nevarro, a man of the lower class who discovers he is an heir to an earldom at Highhurst due to his hidden connection to the wealthy and grand D'Ysquith family. However, ninth in line Monty resorts to killing off his distant relatives for the chance to become the earl and becoming tangled in love along the way in a most humorous fashion.-Ordinary Days- This one took some warming up to. A story of four individuals living in New York City (Deb, Warren, Jason and Claire) all struggling to find their purpose in the large city and find connections in each other. I love how Deb & Warren and Jason & Claire’s stories remain quite separate, something about the contrast of characters and attitudes towards life is enjoyable and refreshing.-Wicked- Need I explain? The music’s great, the story fab, the protagonist is badass and it has sentimental value.-Fiddler on the Roof- Don’t underestimate it! It’s so good! A story of the internal conflict of Jewish father Tevye as he is confronted repeatedly by the changing world and how he must choose between his tradition and religion, and the happiness of his family. It’s fun, it’s cute, it’s interesting, it’s a classic. NEARLY FORGOT! - Heathers- This one is a gem! Veronica, a jaded high school student is taken on by the school's idolized Heathers; three rich, beautiful girls all named Heather. In a twist of fate Veronica and transfer student J.D. murder the leader, Heather Chandler. From their J.D. wraps Veronica into crazier schemes of murder based on his hatred for the student body, the cruelty of society and some mommy issues. Soooooo fuckin good!I could go on but these are only my most favourite.
Also, favourite artists:-My Chemical Romance-Panic! at the Disco-Melanie Martinez-Mother Mother -Lana Del Rey-Twenty One Pilots
