You can't go anywhere? Great! You feel like absolute shit and can barely move from your bed? Oh my, even better! Besides working out, Siyun doesn't have much to pass his time with. He's lonely without you, often finding himself watching the clock, counting the minutes — seconds before you return to him.

But seeing you tucked tightly beneath the pastel duvet, wrapped in a small cocoon. Your cheeks lightly flushed a rather feverish hue, as ragged breaths slipped past your dry lips. Call him crazy but you're absolutely adorable. He could hardly keep his hands to himself!

“Y'know, you look really cute like this {Name}.”

Pulling back the covers, Siyun moved to join you beneath the spotless sheets of the mattress. The dipping of the bed didn't bother you, let alone pull you from the flashing screen of your phone. The ex-idol sighed loudly, shifting to take the pesky item from your protective grip. Only to be brushed off by a bored, dismissive hand.

“I'll get it.” He murmured under his breath, tossing the thick duvet to the side. The man was quick to leave in long, haste strides, but not before his eyes flicked to your stunned form one last time.

Now, Siyun had expected a lot of things, but this surely wasn't one of them. A shorter male, about five feet seven inches, no older than nineteen was at his door. His mousy brown hair was a mess, and he had a lightly tinted folder tucked tightly beneath his arm.

“H-hi, I'm one of [Last Name]'s classmates and I brought some papers to her.” Byung-Chul commenced, frantically unzipping the top of his backpack. “She — uhm, texted me this address.”

Oh, now it all made sense. The persistent flashing of your phone, snatching your attention right from his grasp. The lighthearted giggles that'd leave your mouth ever so often. Friendly, that they were. Giggles that held no sense of love; merely admiration and glee. Even so, it wasn't good enough.

One could say the latter is quite bitter. And if If looks could kill, your friend would be six — no, ten feet under! And that's being generous. But Siyun knows better than to let his bad side show. Heh, who am I kidding?

A faux smile tugged at the corner of his lips, one he was all too familiar with using. “Ah, I see. Thanks for coming...?”

“Choi Byung-Chul!” He chirped, handing the papers to the former idols' outstretched hand.

A sharp pain shot through the poor man's abdomen in mere seconds, sending him crumbling to his knees. Siyun loosely shook his wrist in the air, allowing the gentle breeze to cool the slight stinting of his knuckles. A cold, lifeless expression grazed the face of the once-beloved idol as he watched the man wither beneath his gaze.

💓 - What are some signs he's fallen for someone?

He hasn't had a lot of experience with romantic feelings, given that he was in the fortress from ages 16 through 22, so he is absolutely horrible at hiding it. He is protective of his friends and the ppl he cared about in a general sense, but even more so if it's someone he has feelings for. Like you've seen him defend Wanderer or Afzal but it's not the same vibe and when he worries over Lucien's safety and gets defensive on his behalf. Or When he started threatening Natalia bc of the way she was speaking to Nilou. It's also obvious in the way he looks at them, anyone from an outside protective can pick up on the way he stares at Lucien while he's doing simple things, or the look of abortion when he's watching Nilou dance. He's normally very good at hiding his expressions, but not when it comes to someone he has feelings for. And he will also try to take care of them. In a sense of like, feeding them, bringing them gifts, making sure they get enough sleep/are taking breaks from whatever they are doing. He always cooks for them any time either of them come over, and he always brings Lucien sweets when he goes to see him. Plus all the flowers he brought from Fontaine bc he said he'd never seen them, and the ones he brought for Nilou bc they were similar to her favorite flower. Which were both like genuine sweet gifts, whereas he brought wander the damn cat key chain 🤣 which ya know was also a gift for someone he cares for, but it was silly and bc of an inside joke so not the same vibe.

Both his parents are dead, unfortunately. But he was really close with his mom, very much so a mama's boy and he loved her a lot. He used to have a good relationship with his dad but that went south reeeally quickly right before he died. (Lore tease) And now he hates him very much, and it stemmed some daddy issues fs.

🐒 - What's their favorite animal?

He is so obsessed with those big ass furry Sumpter beasts in the rainforest. He loves watching them run around because they're so clumsy and make the funniest noises when they get their heads stuck in the dirt. He also really loves the Otters in Fontaine, and used to get in trouble all the time for feeding them. But he would sometimes sit at the beach and bring them little snacks. His foster parents reported him missing once and they found him asleep on a rock cuddling with an otter.

☂️ - How do they feel about rain?

Growing up in Fontaine, you kinda just get used to the rain. He didn't like it very much when it was younger bc it made everything muddy and he had to stay inside. And the sky wasn't clear enough to see the stars at night. But then after spending so many years under the sea with no weather at all, he's come to really appreciate the rain, and sometimes will just sit outside without an umbrella to feel it on his skin. He likes the way it sounds, and it helps him sleep. It feels very calming and it drowns out a lot of the other things he's got going on in his brain.

He's a very good cook. Definitely nothing like Michelin star restaurant worthy, but he can make more than just basic meals. He could probably make just about anything if given a good recipe for it. And he likes experimenting with things to make it better or change the flavor. It is something he enjoys doing, for a few reasons. He used to really like helping his mom when she would make dinner, which is why he's so much more familiar with making Sumeru food than Fontaine food, but he's good with both. And also because he really likes gooking for other people more so than just for himself. He likes making people feel good when they eat something he made.

🍪 - How well can they bake?

Pretty average I would say. He can make simple things like cake, cookies, or brownies. And he's gotten pretty good with some stable Fontainian pastries like the chocolate croissants or the cream puffs, but nothing too complicated. He doesn't know how to make bread, he's tried and it just fails every time. He does often make Beignets, tho. They are his favorite.

🧑🏽‍🤝‍🧑🏽 - Do they have any siblings?

Not biologically, no. He's an only child. There were occasionally other kids in the foster homes that would be called his siblings, but no one he really formed an attachment with. He does consider Wriothesley to be kind of an older brother figure to him, and ofc Now has taken Afzal as a little brother.😂 I think he really enjoys the idea of having a family, but he was so hurt by the one he had that he doesn't really want to open himself up to one. But he can't help but to just collect a found family of some kind that's helping him heal without even knowing it.

Nilou has called him sweetheart on many occasions and it does make him smile, he really likes it. He fs blushed the First time Lucien called him Love, mainly cuz it caught him off guard and this was before he realized the confusing shit that was going on with his feelings, but he still very much so likes it when he does.

okay I honestly wish I could describe to you what I felt during the last episode… but I cannot. I was full blown sobbing. How are they gonna do this to us Brainia shippers after we’ve come so far. There has to be some sort’ve plot twist where kara goes instead of him or the legion shows up and is like “nvm” or brainy changes his mind- fucking SOMETHING. They can’t just do this no wayyyyy-

I'm right there with you. I had somewhat mentally prepared myself for Brainy getting the news that he had to go back to the 31st century, but what I was not prepared for was the fact that by doing so, he would also be killing himself to save the Coluan species.

In a strange way, though, that gives me something to hope for. If the story we had been presented with here was just Brainy returning to the future of his own volition, then the likelihood of it actually happening would be a lot higher. But, instead, what we see is Brainy being told he has to give his life away, and this is something that he clearly doesn't want. He doesn't want to leave his family, he doesn't want to leave Nia and he most certainly doesn't want to die. But, he's committed to his people, he's committed to the Legion, and although we get to see an absolutely fantastic performance from Jesse showing us exactly how much he doesn't want to be doing this, at this juncture, he believes there's no other way.

But, Supergirl is a show where answers do present themselves later down the line, and somehow I don't see the show ending with Brainy signing his own soul away. Brainy doesn't actually tell Nia that by leaving, he'd also be dying, and I think if she had known that, things would have gone a lot differently. Even still, I am obsessed with the Brainia content we got this episode, I just hate that we seem to get the best content between them when something super angsty, potentially relationship-ending, is happening. (Seriously, writers, tell me where you live. I just wanna chat. Pay no attention to the sledge hammer in my hands - it's for dramatic flare only, I promise).

We know that the Legion are being called in for reinforcements, and we also know that the reason Brainy is being called away in the first place hinges on what Nyxly does in the future. If she was stopped before then, or if there was some kind of loophole that could be exploited, then hopefully that would mean Brainy's life could be spared. Also, it might be nothing, but a line that 'earnest' Brainy said is really sticking with me.

It is unfortunate that you are burdened with feeling so much.

Now, this line could very well just be pointing to Brainy having so recently removed his inhibitors, but hear me out:

What if Brainy is the most emotional of all known Brainys, or at the very least out of his two counterparts? What if the fact that he feels so intensely allows him to see a path that his other counterparts wouldn't? What if the alternative here is something that can only be seen through the heart, not the head?

Brainy's love for his friends and family is so important to him, so strong, that maybe that'll give him the answer he needs. After all, his earnest self even said he had calculated other options - which means there are other options - it's just that none of them appeared viable to him. But, as I say, he's not our Brainy, he doesn't have the same emotional ties to this place, and so isn't as committed to finding a loophole.

I guess that's just food for thought. We still have the big finale to come, and hopefully something good will come out of it for Brainia.

And... if the worst comes to the worst, meet me here with your ideas on the ending you wanted to see... and I'll write it for you.

Probably the most naturally prepared when it first happens as she recognized the signs of a panic attack

Got exceedingly worried when she couldn't find any triggers but still tried her best to help you out of it

Once it ends she gets you a nice drink and a blanket if you're at home

Be ready for her to look up all the reputable information within three days

When it happened again after that she'd be prepared and do whatever she could to help you through it smoothly, sending anyone nearby to get water and rubbing your back, always repeating her name.

You were out shopping when suddenly your hand went out of his??? What??

When he looked back at you he saw your face freaking out

His dumb ass instantly said "MC! Are you having an allergic reaction?!"

But then he realized no you weren't

He had no clue what to do so he just made sure that nobody was near you

Once it was over he took you home and asked you about it, including what to do in the future

The next times that you have a panic attack, he touches you carefully to try and ground you, always saying his name so you wouldn't freak out

So it happened while you were in his apartment

And damn if he didn't feel absolutely awful once he figured out what it was

He'd probably get a doctor even as you protested because he needs to be sure

Once the doctor confirmed it and gave you both advise on what to do Jumin would be very confused about it

But take his job very seriously and give a lecture to his employees about what to do

Jaehee would be sympathetic and probably the second best person to help you deal, after Jumin

If it happened again after he'd rub your shoulders while saying "It's me. It's Jumin." To ground you.

Thankfully he already knew from your medical records when he first hacked your info

But he didn't expect to actually need it

When you first had one he felt like a piece of shit because it was his fault!!

He'd clear everything away from you so that you wouldn't get hurt

He'd feel so guilty that he'd probably add to the robot cats code to help you in case you had another one

Saeran probably had those when they were children, so Saeyoung would know the hand on the heartbeat method

He would feel really bad about triggering you until you managed to get through to him about how it wasn't his fault

He'd be so panicked and worried he wouldn't be any help at all. At all.

Once your attack finished and you managed to tell him what it was he'd probably look it up online but

He wouldn't understand any of it so he'd have to go to you and ask for advice on how to help

He'd be way too scared to touch you because what if he made it worse?! But he'd make sure that nobody touched you or got near you

Maybe after a few years of dating he'd use the heartbeat touch method because he'd find it mildly romantic

Once you managed to tell her what it was she'd ask if you'd still see the doctor so she could know what to do better

Be prepared for her to enlist the whole RFA to help her research information about it

The next time that you had one she'd have some police tape in her purse so no one could get up in your space

She'd probably hug you, making sure to say her name multiple times first so you would know who she was

But when people start recording you?? Oh hell no she's going to punch some fools

She did not punch some fools but she did take their phones and delete the footage

And threaten them all with death and hacking if they didn't back off while taking pictures of their faces

The area got clear fast but unfortunately it took long enough that your attack finished so she wasn't able to comfort you :(

She'd bring you both home asap because what if it happened again!?! You don't need food

She'd ask you a bunch of questions about how to best help you and what to do

So next time it happened she would probably hold your hands together after stating her name like ten times
