Thanks for the ask, friend! The prompt from this post is "Send me a "🔥" for an unpopular opinion. I'm more than excited to answer. Do note I'm going to pick a pet peeve rather than some hot button topic.

Though, as a reminder to everyone, this is for fun. My opinion is not the be all and end all. If you don't like it, that's fine. Just don't be rude to me.

Anyways, here we go.

I dislike when anything (people, surveys, quizzes, etc.) ask me the question "Which do you like more: cats or dogs?" The answer, by the way, is neither. I'm completely neutral to both. They're both fine, I guess?

Now, you may be thinking "The point of the question is to make you pick one without any "grey" areas". To which I say: I don't care. I dislike this question because I feel the core assumption of the question is "Well, everyone likes or wants a pet!" Not me, sorry!

Also, please don't misunderstand me. I don't mind pets. Many of my closest friends had/have pets. I enjoy seeing their pets greatly. It's just I'd rather vicariously enjoy pets through my friends and their stories.

Louane: I’m going to miss Taylor, but I understand why he moved out.

That’s right; Taylor has moved out, and his new household will appear at the end of this rotation. So now we’re down to Louane, Pontius, Spud and Gemma. Their ROS for his week is outdoor living and family reunion, which means they get to live in tents for a bit.

Pontius and Spud are still going strong.

Spud buys a plot of land to open an art gallery where she’ll sell her original paintings! Pontius will contribute with his robots, and Louane with her witchy inventions, too.

Tent WooHoo is a must ;)

Night falls. Pontius and Spud sleep in one tent, Louane in another, and Gemma’s inside.

Up to her knees in toilet water, apparently.

Still staggering those ages!

Louane and Gemma quickly form a rather tight bond ♥

Time to go check out Seasalted Art Gallery!

It’s rather bare for now. The idea is an open-air art gallery like you see in little beach town markets near the equator.

A successful first day.

Then, a little date to celebrate.

Spud has an easel at Seasalted so she can paint there too!

Understandably exhausted.

Part of the living outdoors ROS means they must grill their meals, so Pontius makes hot dogs for dinner.

Remember, Pontius is still “seeing” Louane while also seeing Spud. Shaky ground, this house stands upon.

Birthday time for baby Gemma! Her parents are preoccupied with each other, so Auntie Louane brings her to the cake.

Appropriate pajamas, hehe.

Back at Seasalted with some good stock!

With Spud at home resting, Louane and Pontius oversee the shop...

If I did traits for TS2, Louane would definitely have Childish :)

Spud: I’m pregnant, and this time, it’s yours!

Gemma: I don’t wanna go to school :(

Gemma: I think my pollinator’s planet was aqua-based. Can I have a pet goldfish?

It’s another (headless) girl! Her name is Sanne. You can’t see it here, but she has black hair and Pontius’s eyes and skin.

For a Romance sim, Pontius admittedly dotes on Sanne. It’s probably the old “aliens must colonize Earth” thing.

Pontius: FICKLE. EARTH. FOOD.

Pontius, Spud and Gemma head out to Seasalted, leaving Louane to take care of Sanne at home.

Jannick does NOT want what Spud is selling, thank you very much.

Spud: EAT SNOW, CHILD

Louane begins to feel rather unappreciated in the house. She knows, obviously, about Pontius and Spud’s relationship, unable to deny their bond now that they have a child. It falls on her to clean and look after the children as they pursue their arts. Louane loves the children--but that love can only take her so far.

She cleans! I love cleaning children!

And that’s that! This house is ~dramatic.~ Will the love triangle be resolved? How will Gemma and Sanne fit into this? We’ll figure this out next time this household appears, but for now, we’re moving onto the Vamsi house.
