Iono had completely gotten over her initial annoyance at this point. Piers just didn't get all that internet stuff- that's why he didn't realize what a big deal she was, clearly. Iono wondered how old he was... Maybe he was actually super old, like grandpa old, Maybe that's why he'd retired from being a gym leader, too. And it was probably why Iono wasn't exactly a diehard fan of his music- she just wasn't in the right demographic, which is totally okay. Not everyone's gonna be a fan of everything from every era, right? Yeah this was making so much more sense to her all of the sudden.

"YAAAAAAS I'm ya gal! I'm TOTALLY great at all that jazz. WE'RE GONNA GET YOU TECH SAVVY, GRANDPA! Welcome to the 21st century!" And he even seemed on board with her nightcore idea! Yeah, okay, clean slate, she LOVES this guy.

"Makin' nightcore remixes is as easy as puttin' your song through one of those audio converter thingies. OKIE DOKIE MACHOKE-IE so let's get on the same page real quick. You don't do social media. And we are TOTALLY gonna fix that. But do you know how to use a computer? Or the internet?" She wasn't trying to make fun of him, she was genuinely asking. Her mind had been blown today, she had no idea what this guy and didn't know how to do.

Piers looked a bit surprised at how she reacted to learning he doesn't really maintain his social media. What could he say? He didn't like those kinds of platforms but also the idea that the public would know every little detail about him freaked him out a bit too. Instead Piers preferred the word of mouth promotion but she did have a point.

"S'pose I could at least look into it. Might need help given how little exposure I have to that kind of stuff."

It was a bit obvious that she had suddenly changed her opinion of him but that was fine. It wasn't like he was going to blame her for finding him an old fuddy-duddy for not maintaining his social platforms. That and hell it might be helpful to have her help him with it... That or asking Raihan who was the Galarian king of social media it felt like.
