I’m thinking so many thoughts after that episode, which was wonderful and hilarious, but something I’m very much thinking about is where someone on twitter pointed out the contrast between Rupert going to the club every single day for six weeks to wear Rebecca down vs Ted coming to her office every day for biscuits and genuinely wanting to get to know her. I’m especially thinking about how this adds some more context to Rebecca’s point of view on that as well. We see her disparagingly calling him ‘relentless, and nice’, and her desire for her love of the biscuits to not make her dependent on him providing her with something.
The moment I’m thinking about most is the one at the end of episode 5, where Ted storms in after finding out she sent Jamie away. The biscuit reveal at the end has always felt crucial in this way, but even more so in this context. Her experience has been with the relentless interest and charm until the other person pulled back the layer of charm and showed that this charming nature wasn’t genuine, and in a way I think here, as Ted yells at her, it lets her feel a bit vindicated, or at least secure, in her belief, or lack of belief, in the nature of other people. But then Ted continues the biscuits, and the extension of kindness they represent, no matter how angry he is, and not only that but reveals he has been (without having told her) baking the biscuits himself. His only deceit was hiding an extra kindness he didn't even seek self serving credit for, despite knowing how much she liked the biscuits. Obviously this works so interestingly as another anti-Rupert parallel in a Ted/Rebecca sense, but I love it even just generally in the context of how it’s visible that this is what shakes Rebecca in that scene, because it shakes the view she has of how people treat people after her abusive marriage and isolation, which is allowing her to go on with the plan that will hurt so many of them. It disarms her because even when she has done something bad, and Ted is expressing legitimate annoyance about it, he will not stop extending this relentless kindness and generosity to her, even when he has not got what he wanted, the way she experienced Rupert doing once he had got what he wanted. Ted’s not only relentless, not only nice, he’s also sincere.

bratty!bottom!becca hcs please
This took me forever and probably isn’t exactly what you wanted because in my mind Becca isn’t really a brat she’s just mad she has to be a bottom
- whenever she does something ‘bratty’ she’s not really trying to get a rise out of cam
- cam is annoyingly stoic and kinda bossy and Becca just wants to get her off but cam keeps saying her first
- Becca figures she might as well get some enjoyment out of it if cam is gonna dictate the pace of everything else
- on nights where cam invites her over for dinner Becca doesnt make it very long with her clothes on
- Becca says it’s because her clothes are just so uncomfortable and what’s better than wearing one of cams hoodies and it’s definitely not because wearing just her underwear and a sweatshirt make for easy access later and it definitely doesn’t drive cam crazy
- Becca spends all of dinner teasing Cam in one way or another until Cam is red in the face and Becca is flat on the mattress
- on the rare occasion cam tries to edge her it never really works because Becca will do anything and everything to cum
- because yes the buildup feels nice but so does cam blowing her back out because she came before cam told her to
- she will always ride cam for longer than cam is prepared for, until cam is the one that’s overly sensitive
- cam is never too rough but Becca likes getting her to use her strength. She will act defiant if it means cam will pick her up and move her
- Becca likes sitting in cam’s chair, or laying on her side of the bed, because Cam will tell her to move and Becca will just shake her head and smile all innocently
- and next thing Becca knows Cam has her in the air and Becca just grips onto her tight and laughs in cam’s neck like this wasn’t exactly what she wanted

this episode of ted lasso made me sososososo sad particularly in the press conference because yes he handled things well from an objective optics standpoint but everyone who has been in his mindset before knows how much it hurts to use yourself as a punching bag for comedy and have everyone nodding along and laughing
like yes the laughs and the positive press response are great. but having so little regard for yourself isn't
anyway they're doing a great job with his growing depression and the resulting crisis of faith and confidence, it's painful to watch. i badly want everyone to rally around him because he's done such a beautiful job fostering this community and he deserves support from it

Each chapter of FCL only continues to prove what a trash S.O. Blake actually is. Like you don’t just run off with your best friend when there’s something clearly wrong with your gf. And being concerned about MC’s injury is all fine and good, but him carrying her into her room, tucking her in, etc. is so extra 😂 I truly believe he would’ve sat at her bedside all night if Rebecca hadn’t walked in lmao
That said though, I can’t complain too much because I still enjoyed all the doting. And I think all of the scenes where it’s just him and MC are really sweet actually. But having him already be in a relationship with someone and (if we’re gonna be honest) flat out ignore her when MC is around kind of cheapens those sweet moments. Like it just tells us that Blake would treat MC the same way if the right girl came along. Genuinely don’t understand why the writers would work against themselves and the LI (who we’re supposed to love and root for) in that way

It's really cute how Viola calls Kyros "Kyros no nee san", first time i saw it my dumbass thought he was legit her brother (yes i was a speedreader back then please don't boo me!) But seeing how nice she was to him back when he first became a commander it's really sweet seeing how she preserves the bond they had from so long
Also when Luffy, Viola and Kyros (toy soldier form) are in the castle, Kyros calls Viola by her real name and she asks him "you know my name?" And he, doesn't dount her for a moment, and tells her that she and her father have suffered a lot. Like... He NEVER DOUBTED HIS SISTER IN LAW EVEN THO SHE WAS WITH DOFFY!! OMGGGGG I LOVE THESE TWO!
And when she says "Brother Kyros won't forgive me if something happens to you" shows how much she respects him and love Rebecca, like YAASSS m'am but Kyros would never hate you
I really love Viola and her relationship with her family, she has been really burdened throughout the years working as Viola but now she can finally live her life the way she wanted: freely dancing and ruling the country like the girlboss she is 🙏🙏🙏

Finally answering this question from @gayvillainera (from an ask game a while back).
“🍈 Who’s your blorbo and what are some of your favorite headcanons/ideas about them that repeatedly show up in your fics? Free pass to rant about blorbo opinions.“
I‘ve decided to go all out for this and will be giving you my opinions on Danny, Rebecca and Beatrice, since they‘re all POV characters in my current fic.
1) Danny: No fictional character has had this much of a chokehold on me since I first listened to Wicked in 2018. I don‘t think it‘s possible for me to get enough of this character. Every single actress, acting choice, (un-)official sequel or fic delights me. I love seeing what other people make of her. Personally, I see Danny as a person who knows what it‘s like to be extremely lonely. She has some interesting parallels with Ich in this regard — I imagine her as someone who probably grew up pretty isolated / did not have many friends or family, so when she started working for Rebecca, she was all too ready to pour all of her affection and devotion into her. Another interesting parallel between Danny and Ich is their lack of first names. Both Mrs Danvers and Mrs de Winter are names that almost double as (job) titles. What‘s devastating about Danny‘s name is that the more intimate name we do have for her is a nickname given to her by Rebecca. Almost every aspect of her life is defined by Rebecca and later her absence. In terms of writing her, I adored writing soft, stoic, traumatised Danny for Was Wird Aus Uns. As you‘ll see, Danny in Nie Wirst Du Mir Ganz Gehören is quite different — she still has that tenderness that I think comes through in almost all versions of her, but I‘m leaning into her jealousy and possessiveness over Rebecca a lot more. Bottom line, I adore Danny. I love her complexity and all-consuming yearning.
2) Rebecca: Rebecca fascinates me. I have trouble with readings that paint her as purely evil. The novel is a lot more subtle than that. Another thing that irks me about one-dimensional interpretations of Rebecca is that they have a tendency to leave out important context — for example that Rebecca would have had a much harder time divorcing Maxim than he would have divorcing her. In terms of my own reading of the character, as with Danny, I enjoy Rebecca‘s complexity. I like reading her and Maxim as two people who are actually quite similar in temperament, but have very different approaches to tradition and morality. For my current fic, I‘m trying to figure out Rebecca‘s motivations — what does she want? Does she love Danny and if so, in what way does she love Danny? I like playing around with the idea that putting on the mask of Mrs de Winter would have put quite the strain on Rebecca, no matter how proficient she was at it. She feels like a person who has never fully learned to identify and deal with her emotions, at least partly because Danny is so ready to deal with everything for her. I have a lot more thoughts but they‘re difficult to put into words, so you‘ll have to wait for my next few chapters :)
3) Beatrice: Darling Beatrice. I love her. My favourite Beatrice headcanon is that her marriage to Giles is purely platonic (I like to think of Giles as ace) and that these two are devoted life partners. Part of this headcanon is that Giles actually was the one to introduce Beatrice to her romantic life partner, a woman named Grace (stay tuned for my Beatrice backstory fic). Furthermore, I love Beatrice‘s ability to have chemistry with every single woman in the narrative. I can see her with pretty much everyone. In my current fics, Bee is about 8 years older than Maxim and since I mistakenly assumed Maxim is 45, that makes her 53. I wouldn‘t write Beatrich with this kind of age difference, but I can see it in different contexts. I don‘t want to spoil too much about my current fic, but I‘m in love with the idea that both Danny/Beatrice and Rebecca/Beatrice have hooked up/are hooking up and the messy dynamics this could lead to between the three of them.
I am not writing this on my phone so I‘ll probably post it and then be shocked by how long it is… Anyway, I hope you enjoyed my rambles, I‘m always happy to ramble more! I love these sad messed up women so much.

The obvious choice is that since the prophecy was "the first born of the lord of chaos will stop the doodler" and there are actually 2 lords of chaos so Hero and Normal could both be the unsung heros but I think its both better and funnier if they're both Lark's kids and Normal is literally just a normal unprophesied teen. Also Lark clearly cares more about Norm(and Hero??)and I think Sparrow should lose custody
