Thoughts on Buddy Daddies Episode 10

Too many thoughts, in a way I haven't felt in a long time.

I expected angst, but I didn't think they would proceed the way they did with this episode.

Bringing back Miri's mom to trigger doubt in their relationship was so heartbreaking.

Because you can tell so much about all three of them.

Kazuki even calls her out, that her intention is all about herself.

Whereas both Rei and Kazuki, throughout their discussion put their sole focus on Miri and her opinion and her happiness.

In fact, I'm sure Kazuki understood her mom more than ever.

Him loosing his family and trying to build a family now, it could've very easily been a method for him to gain self validation and just validation in general, but not once, throughout the series has he EVER projected his trauma onto Miri, but rather it pushes him to do better for her.

Both of them care so deeply for her, that they never brought themselves into the conversation, 'we took care of her for a year', 'we're here for her', nothing.

From the jump it was, Miri's happiness is our main priority.

And that's why, Kazuki was so adamant on not giving way to her decision, which is when their occupation comes into play.

On paper, not an ideal situation, two hitmen whose lives are constantly in danger, raising a child... I understand her perspective, but it's malicious that she used the only tactic she could to plant the seed of uncertainty in their minds.

Which brings us to their conversation with Kyuu.

They realised the depth of the circumstances of their jobs, but I think the 'dream' like state they were in, this haze, almost shielded them from even considering reality.

Because what would they do when Miri finds out about her real father, about their jobs, that she's in danger, grave danger, all because of them.

And that is the only reason Kazuki changes his mind.

He must've been struggling internally, to give Miri back to her mom would be tough on a kid, and who knows how she would raise Miri.

But he safety and happiness comes first.

He tries to convince himself that they wouldn't want to carry on with any regrets.

And they spend the day like normal, both of them fawning over Miri.

And we see the pure anguish on Kazuki's face as he realises the impact Miri has had on him, the changes she has brought, and how it would soon leave.

He understands the consequences of his original decision to take care of Miri.

And although it has significantly improved all of their lives, he still wants her to be happy, even without them.

He brings up the cat, and reminds us that he still remembers it even after a year, because that's the value he places on other living creatures, on life, and he doesn't take that for granted.

Kazuki planned the entire day for them to spend together, strategically including games and rock climbing so even Rei could get involved, because this was potentially the last time they could spend together. And he understood that Rei might not openly express his pain and suffering, and pushed them to spend time together, to, like he said, have no more regrets.

The way Kazuki was hovering over Miri's every move, I really can't imagine how it would be now, for him to silently worry over Miri without ever being close to her.

Miri has both of them completely wrapped around her little fingers, and they totally realize that their lives will never really be the same again.

And what's so painful about it is that you can tell how much Miri has changed both of them in such a drastic manner.

When Kazuki began to spiral in his thoughts, Rei was the one who said, hey, let's just have fun today.

Both of them have become support pieces to each others lives through Miri, and I truly hope they realize that that would never change.

Rei and Kazuki's conversation in the Ferris wheel was so beautiful. Because they both understand that their lives have changed for the better since Miri came into their lives, but unfortunately, they haven't changed, and they don't have an option to change.

They are constantly tied to their jobs and can't escape from that world, and the only way to ensure Miri's happiness is to let her get away from that world.

From their world.

Miri was their beacon of light through the darkness, and a Mirage of what could've been, but no matter what, it could never actually be this way.

They are a happy, little family, but unfortunately, dreams are a little too misty to see through it.

And the Ferris wheel is the perfect metaphor for that, it's their own little world, isolated from their pasts, their traumas, and everything that ties them to the real world.

Their in their own cocoon of love, comfort and happiness, and once they reach the high of it, they understand that that's the highest things can go, this is the most amount of happiness and comfort they can ever recieve and eventually they have to come down their high, to touch back to the real world, and give up their happiness, give up Miri, for her to grasp to her normal happiness, something that she deserves, something they will never be able to grasp.

And aahh... When Kazuki runs back to tie his scarf around her, to ensure that she wouldn't catch a cold, because this was his daughter, someone he cared about more than he could ever think of, more than he could've ever imagined he was capable of.

The parallel to the time he went back to take care of the cat, still tied to every person he was forced to abandon.

Rei and Kazuki have the discussion of 'changes', and although it's evident that both of them have changed and progressed drastically, the environment and the circumstances around them haven't, and giving up Miri was the ultimate sacrifice and sign of that.

(few things to note:

Miri never told her mom that she would rather stay with her than her Papas, she just said that she loves both of them.

Miri has a car seat in the car, and something about that makes me so🥺.

Although the angst is STRONG, in the episode, and I'm lousy at making predictions, I think Miri will definitely be upset and demand to see her papas again, which ugh... How could you let a four year old go through all of this.

It makes sense that this was the route they opted for, because imo, the pain they must feel to intentionally give up Miri must be so much more heartwrenching than actually loosing her.

But I'm still praying for them to actually betray the Agency.. I'm betting on that🤞).

The days when Miri was home from school were probably the most eventful days Rei’s ever experienced in his life. She was such a wild bundle of energy that he could barely keep up sometimes. Thank god Kazuki was there to help out. Even though he barely acknowledged it or said anything, he genuinely loved and appreciated the help the older man gave. And now was no different. She asked, no, demanded that the two build her a massive pillow fort to her liking. And since they couldn’t say no to her cute face, they got to work. Soon enough, all the couch cushions, pillows, and blankets in the house had been used to make a, quite honestly, impressive pillow fort in their living room. And Miri was so overjoyed.

“Thank you Papa Rei! Thank you Papa Kazuki!” she squealed, diving into the opening. Kazuki momentarily panicked as she jumped in with no caution for the structure of the fort! But, he soon relaxed as he saw their girl laughing happily.

“Papas! You need to come in here!” she claimed, grabbing Kazuki by the wrist and pulling him in, giggling loudly at his grunt of surprise. He chuckled and cuddled close to her, making her laugh even more.

“Thank you for your hospitality, Lady Miri! I was afraid I would go cold and hungry this night, but you have saved me! How can I ever repay you??” The blonde man played up, relishing in his daughter’s squeals. Rei lifted up the blanket entrance and watched them, the slightest smile on his lips. He was proud of this. It wasn’t a shabby job, at least not to him, and Rei knew he was going to be invited in by both Miri and Kazuki. As comfy as the inside looked, it would probably heat up real quick. Not to mention he was wearing a long sleeved shirt. So he dropped the blanket curtain and attempted to make his leave.

“Papa Rei, wait!” Miri cried, poking her head from the fort. Rei sighed. Busted. “You need to play with Papa Kazuki and me in the fort! Pleeeeeeeeease???”

“Yeah, pleeeeeeeeease Papa Rei?~” Kazuki also poked his head from the blanket, smirking and egging the former assassin on. With a quiet groan, Rei obeyed their orders and crawled into the space with cheers from the two invitees.

“So! What are we gonna do now, Miri?” Kazuki asked, a big grin on his face. With a starry-eyed look, she ran out the fort yelling behind her, “Let me get my things!” Rei glared at Kazuki, mentally cursing him out for the fate the younger man just exposed them to. The little girl rushed back with an armful of bright hair clips that immediately made the men cringe.

“Let me do your hair Papas!” she asked loudly. And it was less of an ask and phrased more like ‘I’m going to do your hair whether you like it or not.’ Kazuki, of course, didn’t mind. Rei was against this idea entirely. But, like always, he couldn’t say no. Kazuki was first and mixed in with sitting still for Miri to finish his hair, he also had to keep Rei from escaping constantly. After Miri was done making Kazuki a “pretty lady” (Rei chuckled at that), it was Rei’s turn to have all the attention on him. Miri held up a bunch of sparkly bows that she could put in Rei’s hair. The man sat still for several moments as he took in the sight of the bows… then he raced for the exit.

“Wh- REI GET BACK HERE!!!” Kazuki exclaimed, grabbing the former assassin around the waist and falling to the floor with him. “If I have to put silly bows in my hair, then you do too!”

“Never!” Rei shouted as he reached for the door, so close to the outside! Then, Rei felt a poke to his armpit that made him shoot his arm down with a squeak. He turned to look at Miri, who poured angrily yet adorably at the man.

“Papa Rei!” she fussed. “You promised you would play with us! Good daddies don’t make bad promises!”

Kazuki grinned immediately while Rei furrowed his brows with guilt. She was right. He had promised. But then again, that was when he had gotten home from a long day and was half asleep. It technically didn’t count! But he couldn’t let her down… it’s decided then. He will play with his family! … That doesn’t mean he won’t be hard to get though!

“If you tell Papa Kazuki to let me go…” he looked at Miri with a mischievous half-grin. “I’ll tell you where he hides his chocolate pudding!”

Miri gasped excitedly while Kazuki made sounds of betrayal.

“Rei!!! You can’t just do that to me! And Miri! Don’t even think of switching sides! We’re putting bows in his hair whether he likes it or not!” Kazuki declared as he now wrapped his arms around Rei’s chest to keep him in place.

“But Papa Kazukiiiii! I want chocolate pudding!” Miri whined. Rei struggled in Kazuki’s grip, he was stronger than he remembered, as he kept his grin. The pair knew she would start helping Rei as soon as she could. To get her back on track, Kazuki reached out one hand and quickly scribbled his fingers against her belly. Miri squealed with laughter and backed away, holding her tummy as she giggled.

“This is no time for chocolate pudding, Miri! We have to-” Kazuki paused. An idea formed in his head. Rei acted as if he’d read Kazuki’s mind because they made eye contact and the former assassin shook his head feverishly.

“Kazuki, no!” Rei said in a hushed panic. Kazuki only grinned evilly.

“Kazuki yes!! Miri, help tickle Papa Rei!” Kazuki quickly sat on Rei’s thighs as he forced his arms above his head. Huh, he was faster than Rei remembered too.

“Will I get-?” Miri began before Kazuki shouted, “YES you’ll get chocolate pudding!”

“Weeeeee!” Miri squealed as she ran over. Kazuki already started on scratching over Rei’s ribs, giggling at how Rei immediately squeaked at the touch. The former assassin pursed his lips together and puffed out his cheeks in an effort to keep the laughter in. Miri, who began repeatedly poking his side, laughed at his funny face.

“Hahaha! Papa Rei’s making a pooping face!” Miri exclaimed. Kazuki immediately started laughing at her declaration, as he found it hysterically accurate. And with the combination of Miri’s joke, their combined laughter, and the hands tickling over his ribs and sides, tipped the scales a lot quicker than anyone anticipated. Rei started giggling and quietly laughing with his family.

“Aha!” Kazuki barked as he caught these adorable sounds. “Hear that, Miri? He’s laughing! We’re one step closer to getting him to surrender!”

Miri squealed happily and began to use both her hands to poke Rei’s sides, all the while she chanted the words ‘chocolate pudding’ over and over again. Rei shook his head back and forth with glee, smiling wide and freely as Kazuki turned his hand into a claw and vibrated them in between his ribs.

“Khehehehehehe! Ahahahahahahahaaaa! Sttthhahahahahahahap! Get off mehehehehehehe! M-Mirihihihihihi, quihihihihihihit it! Kahahazukihihi, knock it ohohohohoff!” Rei wheezed with laughter as he addressed the man above him and the girl beside him. He rocked his torso back and forth as the two continued to tickle the former assassin silly.

“Papa Kazuki! Let’s get his tummy!” Miri said. Kazuki gasped with delight as Rei groaned in despair.

“That’s a great idea Miri!” Kazuki said as he shoved Rei’s shirt up to his neck. Rei continued to shake his head no, but his smile didn’t leave his face at all. “Alright, Miri! Should we do raspberries or nibbles?”

Rei’s eyes shot wide open at the question and he tried to sit up and pull his hands away. Miri placed her finger to her chin and pondered, humming in thought. Rei tried hard to yank his wrists from Kazuki’s hand, but that bastard just kept him still using his other hand! Rei growled at him and Kazuki stuck out his tongue.

“Raspberries!” was Miri’s decision.

“Raspberries it is then! You ready, Rei?~” Kazuki cooed at his partner, wiggling his eyebrows at the younger man. Rei attempted to scowl at the blonde, but his wavering smile would not leave his features. Then he jerked and barked out a laugh as Miri blew a raspberry on the former assassin’s side. Miri giggled hysterically at his reaction.

“That’s not funny Miri!” Rei fussed, blushing like no one’s business. Kazuki and Miri began laughing again.

“Of course it is, Rei!” Kazuki exclaimed. He was next to dip his head down to Rei’s smooth belly and blow a torturous raspberry.

“GAHAHAHAHAHA! Ohohokay- ohokay. Thahat’s enough. That’s enoHOHAHAHAHAHAF! NOHOHOHOHOHOHOOO! Ehehehehehehehehehe! C-C’mohohon! Youhu guys!” Rei tried to argue, but he was interrupted by the two taking turns and blowing raspberries until his wheezy laughter turned silent.

After one final raspberry from Kazuki, the blonde man let go of the former assassin and scooped Miri in his lap so they could give him a break. The younger man immediately curled up after being let go and panted, still giggly after the whole ordeal. Miri covered her mouth and giggled with him while Kazuki took in the sights and sounds fondly.

“So,” he started, “you gonna actually play with us now?”

Rei peeked his eye open and looked at the two, noticing how big Miri’s eyes were, hopeful that he’d say yes. Rei just chuckled and pat her head.

“Yeah, I’ll play.”

“YAAAAAAAAAAAAY!!!!” Miri squealed at the top of her lungs. She wiggled out of Kazuki’s grip and jumped onto Rei’s arm, flopping over him and laughing while he grunted. The older man growled in a playful manner and caught the little girl in his arms.

“I’m gonna eat you!” he exclaimed as he nuzzled his face into her ear, lightly nibbling it and making the girl squeal and laugh like no tomorrow. Kazuki  leaned his head on his knee and watched on lovingly, thinking that his life couldn’t get better than this. In truth, it could, especially when he saw their reactions to pulling out three cups of chocolate pudding.

Happy Birthday, Rei, he thought.

- Gets jealous the most: Honestly, neither. Rei doesn't understand when he's getting hit on and Kazuki would be amused and happy with Rei getting attention. Rei might get a bit upset but doesn't care too much and would never vocalize it. So let me change my answer: Rei.

- Picks the other up from the bar when they’re too drunk to drive: None. Rei won't get drunk at the bar. He also won't pick Kazuki up. If Rei was the type to drink Kazuki would definitely pick him up though.

- Takes care of on sick days: Well, Kazuki. Rei doesn't really know what to do but he does worry a bit, or he might forget Kazuki's dying and only remember when Kazuki calls him and tells him to bring him medicine.

- Drags the other person out into the water on beach day: Kazuki

- Gives unprompted massages: Kazuki might try to and get rejected. Rei awkwardly if he's trying to express something or Kazuki asks him to and catches him in a good mood.

- Drives/rides shotgun. Kazuki pretty canonly almost exclusively drives. Rei only when he has to.

- Brings the other lunch at work: Kazuki snuck into a no-parent schooltrip to bring Miri lunch. I think that answers this question xD

- Has the better parental relationship: as much as Kazuki would hate this answer, Rei.

- Tries to start role-playing in bed: I can't picture them randomly roleplaying in bed, but this reminds me of my fic where Kazuki says they roleplay as hitmen to get out of a tricky situation with Miri's daycare xD

- Embarrassingly drunk dancer: Kazuki again. Rei doesn't dance. I'd like to picture a future where he does go out and dance with Kazuki. Maybe Kazuki drags him outside and they slow dance, or Kaz just grinds on him dirtily and Rei's kind of interested.

- Still cries watching Titanic: ofc Kazuki.

- Firmly believes in couples costumes: when he's single, Kazuki mocks the couple costumes but once he's not he'll see a couple with some corny matching shirts and will make Rei wear one with him

- Breaks the expensive gift rule during Christmas: What the hell is the expensive gift rule for christmas lol probably Rei because he'd also have no clue

- Makes the other eat breakfast: easily Kaz

- Remembers anniversaries: both really, though Kazuki would be the only one that makes a big deal about it

- Brings up having kids: if we're talking about a world without Miri, Kazuki. It wouldn't occur to Rei. With Miri, I don't believe either would want more children.

@nullians is enabling me so here’s a short sloppy drabble of the Karasuno first year quartet finding Kappa Enta from Sarazanmai

(This is straight up copy pasted from my docs so yeah it’s a mess)

Somehow the kappa kids end up separated while in kappa form. Enta is alone, looking for Kazuki and Kuji when he thinks he hears Kazuki. He runs out and bumps into something. When he looks at what he ran into, he’s surprised to see a human staring back at him.

Enta freezes thinking maybe he hadn’t been spotted but the boy that he bumped into keeps watching him. Something must be up because humans shouldn’t be able to see them as kappa? 

The boy is tall, even taller now that Enta is barely 2 feet tall, so his figure looming over the poor kappa has Enta scared for his life. The boy crouches down to make eye contact with him and it does ease his fear a little.

The dark-haired boy, with striking blue eyes, continues to stare at him and Enta doesn’t know if maybe he should start running before he gets caught. The boy reaches a hand out and makes pinching motions with his fingers.

“Pspspsps.”

“What do you think I am? A cat?!”

The boy almost falls backwards. “It talks!”

Enta puts his webbed fingers over his beak. He really should have just left the scene but it feels a little too late for that now. 

“Where did you come from?” The boy reaches out again, hesitant this time but palm open.

Enta doesn’t answer, pretty sure he shouldn’t be interacting with this human any further.

“There you are! I’ve been looking all over for you!”

The voice is familiar, Enta knows it from anywhere.

“Kazuki!!!” He cries.

The boy turns at the sound and stands up to greet the owner of the voice. 

“Well whose fault is it for getting lost, boke.”

“YOU’RE THE ONE THAT GOT LOST!” 

The voice turned out not to be Enta’s Kazuki, but a boy with brilliant orange hair, who seemed to be a friend of the first boy.

“Anyway Kageyama, were you talking to somebody?” The orange boy asks and looks behind Kageyama’s shoulder.

Enta realized he should have used the chance to escape but he was distracted by the orange haired boy’s voice sounding so much like Kazuki’s that he almost fell into despair when it turned out not to be his friend coming to rescue him.

“Oh!! Is that a kappa? Wow, they really exist? Tokyo has all sorts of cool things, huh?”

Orange boy also bends down and stares deeply at Enta. He squirms under the boy’s gaze, really wishing for a way out. The taller boy steps up and picks him up. 

“You are real, right?”

“How can you ask that when I’m literally right in front of you?” Enta thinks but doesn’t voice.

“Ah, King, maybe you shouldn’t be touching that. You don’t know if it’s diseased or cursed.”

He’s not Enta’s second or third favorite person in the world, but Kuji could probably get him out of this! Tears in his eyes, he turns to the source of the voice.

“Kuji!!!” 

A tall blond with glasses is staring down at him. 

“Who are these people??? Where are Kazuki and Kuji???” Enta is straight up crying.

“Oi, Tsukishima you made it cry.” Kageyama barks at the blond.

“How is it my fault? I just got here.” The blond boy with Kuji’s voice peers down at Enta. He’s even taller than dark hair boy that is holding him. These kids were huge, what the heck??? 

“Oi lay off, you’re scaring it.” Kageyama pulls Enta away from Tsukishima.

There is a hand on his head plate and Enta looks up at the boy holding him. His eyes are sharp but his expression is soft. Enta feels his heart thump. What the heck?

“Sorry this jerk scared you. We don’t mean any harm.”

Enta didn’t tell him that he wasn’t scared of anyone here, he was just tired of this situation. 

“I think you should let it go Kageyama. I think we are crowding it. Maybe it wants to leave.” Another boy spoke up. Enta didn’t even notice this boy, but he seemed to have arrived with the blond Kuji-voice boy. 

Kageyama’s hold on him tightened a little. “What if it needs help?”

Enta looked at the boy in question. Maybe he could take his chances, he’s already this deep into it. “Actually, I’m looking for my friends.”

The four boys all looked at him simultaneously in shock. A chorus of “What?” “It talks!” “Woah!” bombarded him at the same time.

“Your friends?” Kageyama asks.

Enta nods. “Yeah, two more kappa. One with a red scarf and one with a blue scarf.” He gestures to the orange scarf around his neck.

The boys look at each other and then back to him.

“Sorry, we haven’t seen any other kappa around.” Orange boy says. 

“We’re also not from around here so we don’t know the area too well either.” The fourth boy with freckles speaks up. 

Enta sighs, so much for that. He thinks he’s done for the day when he spots a familiar red and blue out of the corner of his eyes. He blinks again and he sees Kazuki and Kuji hiding behind a store sign staring intently in his direction. They start waving when they see he’s noticed them.

“Oh! I have to go!” Enta wiggles out of Kageyama’s arms. “Good bye!”

He pads off, finally glad to get out of that.

ANYWAY, this entire thing is a seiyuu joke.

1) I wrote this at the height of my NanaSan (quiz bowl anime) obsession, where the main two were voiced by Ishikawa Kaito and Horie Shun, thus crack ship Kageyama/Enta

2) Ayu and Ucchi are obvious

3) Yamaguchi is there because i love the first year quartet

Well, I actually wanna talk about the yugioh manga for a moment since I finished reading it yesterday. Literally yesterday. I cried and everything.

My history with the YGO manga is as follows:

- Read the season!0 portion of the manga at least 2-3 times. I also own Vol 1

- Reblogged a lot of manga caps of Joey through the years

- Found out tidbits through tumblr such as 1. Kaiba not being in the millenium world arc (this is when DSOD was being promoted as following from the manga and not the anime so that’s when I officially finally heard that he wasn’t in that potion of the manga) 2. Kaiba being the one to save Joey??? HELLO. (canon) 3. doujinshi based off things that actually happened (there was like, a Tendershipping doujinshi or something where you see Thief King kill a bunch of people in a bar, just a lot of random stuff... which actually happened in the manga and I never knew lmao)

I never got around to the manga for various reasons I wont get into, but I get to everything eventually. But here’s a conclusion I came to before I ever read the manga and had only seen snippets of it posted on tumblr over the span of 10 years

THE ANIME HATED JOEY

And it was further proved as I actually read the manga.

Like... He’s given so much love in the manga, by the man himself, his creator. But the anime staff were like “eyyy we don’t like this kid. lets make him weak af, humiliate him and just fuck him over, eyyy”

I already knew he lost every fight scene he was in in the anime. I knew that already. Those being:

Joey vs Kaiba: Getting thrown to the ground by Kaiba super easily

Joey vs... Bandit Keiths lil gang... Trudge and Ghost or something: Trudge punching him in the stomach and knocking him out

Joey vs Bandit Keith - where every punch Keith expertly dodged

Joey vs Kemo/Sawatari - not that he knocked Joey out but Mai knocks him out in the anime instead of it being Joey

Joey vs Ghouls - again, Joey gets in one punch before they knock him out

The LITERAL REVERSE of all this happens in the manga. The REVERSE. And like, Joey was always winning fights in the early non-Duelist manga, but it didn’t change as soon as dueling was introduced. 

He just continuously gets beat up in the anime, pretty much giving off the impression Joey is all talk. And there’s prob more I’m forgetting. I knew of all these before going into the Duelist manga, as I said, through screencaps. There was very little new I learned. But there was a few. One example I really didn’t know was that Joey was never put in a dog outfit and humiliated. Heck, even in season!0, they constantly had girls rejecting him.

The anime was just... going through the hoops to change a lot of key things about him. Both animes. Like I said, I knew a lot of this going in, but when you read the manga in one big chunk, it can get to you when you’re a Joey fan, and just see how... freaking special he is as a character.

I honestly didn’t think I’d make a post. I finished the manga last night, and then Mr. Takahashi died, so here I am, but now I wish I’d made notes. I’m just tryna remember this off the top of my head now.

Like... I can deal with changes. 100% yes Kaiba’s entrance into Duelist Kingdom throwing men out of a helicopter and then later with Croquets head in a briefcase while sitting in a chair holding a gun was one of the best things I’ve ever seen, and the anime did not do Kaiba justice there... but he at least wasn’t made to look entirely different. He dodged Kemo’s gun attack and flipped him over. ...It was something... at least. 

Joey didn’t get that. It was never ending disrespect.

Sarazanmai 10th episode PV thoughts and observations

The second to last episode and episode preview. It’ll be an intense episode, according to the synopsis Kazuki infiltrates the Otter Empire hideout, Reo catches Keppi and the secret Reo, Mabu and Keppi share will be revealed.

This is the final stretch of this Ikuhara wild ride, hopefully we won’t crash and burn too badly.

The PV begins with Kazuki hugging Enta, which would be really sweet if not for the fact that Enta is dead and might be gone for good if the timer runs out before Kazuki is able to save him. This image radiates stress. At least I’m happy Kazuki’s showing that he cares for Enta!

Both of these shots seem to be from the Kappa statue square.

That means there’ll be multiple Reo and Kazuki interactions throughout the episode, because next up they meet at the hideout. Reo’s pointing a gun at Mabu, Kazuki’s holding on to something, I’m not sure what.

Reo’s pretty far gone. I get that he’s hurt and upset with Mabu, but I wonder how they got into this situation, especially with Kazuki and Enta there, standing next to him not that seemingly worried for their safety. I don’t see Keppi and I wonder if he’s in that package Kazuki’s holding on to (captured by Reo). This is the same place where Keppi talked about saving Haruka through a shirikodama transfer in episode 6, but I don’t see these characters be cooperative enough to go through with it.

Reo’s probably taunting Mabu again, and then he gets emotional.

Enta goes flying and Reo’s holding on to four silver plates. His gun says “fire” so it’s in the same mode as when he shot Enta. There’s smoke coming out of it so it’s been used. Did he (try to) shoot Enta again?

Whatever happened Kazuki catches Enta. There’s been another scene change, they’re running around in the hideout.  

Both Dark-Keppi (Black-Keppi?) and the otter shows up. 

The signs here say “Judgement: Desire”, so unlike with Haruka Mabu(?) will be accepted and won’t return?

Kazuki has a red sheen to him, same as this football. I’m thinking this could be an illusion where he’s playing with it, or maybe he snaps or gets turned somehow and they’re glowing red because of the fire that’ll show up in a sec. They’ve also changed location again, this from the river and Azuma Bridge area.

This performing otter showed up last episode when Reo was having his delusion (at least that’s my interpretation of the scene), so this could indicate another similar situation. The otter could also be joining the fight since it want to protect Dark-Keppi.

Tooi’s upset in the rain. I don’t think we’ll see that much of him in this episode, but I’m assuming he’ll return to Asakusa. I hope that he’ll make it in time...

There’s an explosion on the bridge. I wonder if anyone(/Mabu?) got turned into a zombie since they’re here and the judgement fell on desire? I don’t think it’ll be a typical fight though.

Reo cries some more, Mabu's serving us this look. Is this from before or after the explosion? I have a lot of questions regarding Mabu’s fate.

Reo kicks Kazuki. With each episode he strays further and further away from being the loveable goof he was in Reo to Mabu: Futari wa Sarazanmai. I’m both interested and scared to see how fans are taking this. I still like him. I tend to like villains and my top list of favourite Ikuhara characters is filled with them. It’s not that surprising considering how many Ikuhara characters are villainous...

A good thing to note here is that Kazuki’s still holding on to the last silver plate. RIP Keppi. We don’t see Mabu in any of the shots from this scene and that’s worrisome. Did Reo actually shoot him? 

Now Reo’s gun is set on “Blood”. That’s new. 

You could interpret it as in he’s out for blood, but why did the setting change from “fire”? Will it gather blood for a transfusion? Does it have something to do with blood connections that get mentioned in the show? As a neat little detail I also want to mention that the kanji for blood 血 looks very similar to the kanji for plate 皿 so this better be good. They must’ve been saving it for the pun/meaning.

Enta’s incredibly close to dying. The red indicates his lifespan and it’s almost run out.

The second set of Kuro Keppi System signs say “Despair: Release”. I’m definitely looking forward to see what that’ll be about. 

Looking at the synopsis again, there’s one image of Mabu in the hospital, which I think relates to the reveal of their secret. The rest of the images are from the Azuma Bridge area and I want to mention buff Keppi, because, well, that’s a sight. I wonder if Keppi’s the one to cause the explosion? Maybe that’s him expanding and blowing up? It doesn’t look like it helps much though, I think that might bring in some slight comic relief into the otherwise very dark episode.

MAD OP - Fafner Movie Opening

This fanvid of the fafner heaven and earth movie is pretty great and I haven’t stop replaying it since I discovered it a few days ago and it’s styled like it’s an OP for a fafner heaven and earth anime *series* which kinda makes me wish HAE was at least a cour long instead of just a two-hour long... /cries

Who wouldn’t fall for this super cool badass fighter? He’s an elite agent sent from Japan's Ministry of Defense to supervise Koro-sensei. 

Karasuma is a strict but kind man, though he keeps a distance between himself and the students due to his status as an agent and his own professionalism. He is also extremely dense when it comes to love, but isn't so oblivious that he doesn't figure it out eventually. Even though he comes off as distant, he's not completely devoid of emotion and seems to be able to express happiness very rarely; most notably, during violent situations.

Judging from how he taught his students as the physical education teacher in Class 3-E, he must be a strict dad who raise his kids to be a strong fighter both physically and mentally. He is a perfect husbando for waifu who need someone to keep her on her toes. His love life is hilarious and interesting bc his waifu is a b*tch. Well, if you watch this anime you’d know what i mean 😉 Hush hush... I bet he is definitely a wild beast on bed, fu fu 😉

Even Kazuma shows his arrogance and egotistic side most of the time, he'll protect people who are naturally weak and have no chance of becoming stronger.

He is a snarky sarcastic and anti-social, rarely interacts with others unless business is involved. But he’s very caring and protect his beloved Ayano and his little brother Ren. He can do house chores and cooking. When he fell in love he’ll be unbelievably sweet and gentle yet still be a big tease making Ayano (and me) doki doki occasionally; e.g. licking a splashed wine on her cheek saying it’s a waste if he don’t drink it, kissing her hair when he confess to her. When he kissed her neck and said “You better get ready because I’m selfish and have a strong desire” I was melted ☺️☺️☺️

You couldn’t count yourself an 2D otaku in Shoujou-Otome line if you don’t know him, he is a LEGENDARY HUSBANDO for Shoujou manga and anime.

He is everything as an ideal husbando for me, looks, brain and talent at everything. Playful but not wishy-washy. Flirt but not creepy. Devoted but not possessed. Helped but not spoiled. TALENTS OR POWERS   his talents include make-up, memorising cool facts about crabs, getting incredibly emotionally invested and losing sleep over other peoples problems. he’s got that pretty boy vampire allure going for him, and like... all the standard vamp stuff like immortality, heightened senses! although he’s kinda lacking in that whole being impervious to wounds thing  — he bruises like a peach!

WHY SOMEONE MIGHT LOVE THEM   he’s a very pretty boy. and i guess he can be very charming and funny, and he’s nothing if not a shameless flirt, like inkeeping with his job he’s someone who’s very easy to feel drawn towards. then i guess, like at first glance, it’s hidden beneath that feigned confidence and come-hither persona, but he’s a deeply empathetic person and it gives him this very nurturing personality and not that he’s a fucking furry, but he’s kinda like a puppy? in that he’s very excitable and trusting, tends to give people pretty doting attention, like all he really knows is how to give unconditional love and how to get excited over absolutely nothing.

WHY SOMEONE MIGHT HATE THEM   so many valid reasons. for supernatural creatures in particular he’s an aneurysm waiting to happen because he fundamentally refuses to accept what he is and won’t really... engage with any attempts to help him be a better vampire? his job is pretty disreputable, though for the most part he personally doesn’t fit the stereotype, being a host carries all those connotations of being manipulative / sleazy / involved with the mob. he can be very hard to pin down.  he’s wearing a mask most of the time, very good at telling people what they want to hear and presenting the sides of himself he thinks will make people feel best, but he’s not as socially adept as he comes across? he’s very shy and the closer you get to him, the more he seems to slip into that, so i guess he can be frustrating either because he comes across as fake or because he’s one of those people who you feel you’re great pals with but then realize you actually know very little about? his fear of conflict makes him do a lot to avoid it, either he can come across as very people-pleasing and obsequious or like... a complete crybaby tbh.

HOW THEY CHANGE   he... does the usual, y’know? becomes all supernatural and eerily pretty, falls head over heels in love with a dumbass, and then... deteriorates a lot!! like to begin with it’s kinda cute how bad he is at being a whole other species, but then the more he finds out about becoming a vampire, the more juxtaposed with his nature and difficult for him to handle it becomes? he’s someone who forms attachments very readily and intensely, and can’t really deal with having to keep mortals at an arms length, can’t bring himself to drink blood regularly much less kill someone for it, and that naturally brings with it a lot of problems... like he’s not got half the !!! he used to, he grows a lot more weepy and sensitive, physically he gets more and more tired and sickly. but it’s all kinda like a learning curve for him? like because of his upbringing he’s always felt the compulsion to put other peoples needs above his own and he’s... very slowly beginning to realise that maybe the best way to take care of people is to start looking after himself. having had a very conservative upbringing as well there’s a lot that he’s coming to terms with in the vein of his gender / sexuality as well but i’ve already rambled for about 8 years here.

2018.02.06 Ookiku Furi Kabutte [Review!]

I was super excited for this! It’s got JP, I haven’t really seen Ino properly act in the flesh (shhh I did see him in Touken but... as something ELSE I haven’t seen him act in the flesh), and Nishime is the CUTEST and of course I like to support Naya whenever I can! So many amazing people in this cast! AND it’s about baseball; I enjoy baseball!

NON-SPOILER REVIEW Overall: I thoroughly enjoyed this! I had a lot of fun watching the baseball matches and my favourite part was definitely during the Training Camp! I really, really enjoyed Ino's character and I was getting such romance vibes from him that now, I'd quite like to see him do some sort of romance movie or role soon! I love how huggy he was with everyone ^_^ Also, it was great seeing Nishime get center stage; I haven't seen him act since last year's Satomi Hakkenden (review here). Naya was DEFINITELY the MVP of this entire stage! He was so entertaining and such much fun! I absolutely loved seeing him do such a comedic role ♡ I definitely weeped at this one towards the end because I got so attached to all the characters and I really do hope we see a continuation of this in the near future (within the next year or so please!). This was fun, some drama, some emotional parts, the games were done in an interesting way, the character development and relationships were great! The opening and closing dance was great too! If you’re a baseball, sports-anime, stage fan then I think you’re going to enjoy this quite a bit. OH and I forgot to mention the best part; their crotches and butts are tightly shown in those baseball pants o_O So enjoy xD  Rating: 8/10 << I think this would've gotten a higher rating if SOMEONE hadn't been snoring for at least half of the play and it super distracted me and took me out of the stage and story for a good 20 or so minutes.

SPOILER REVIEW

I don't know how many of you are interested in the story but I'll give the BASIC STORY:

Mihashi has recently moved/started at Nishiura high school. Even though he refuses to play due to past trauma and experiences at his previous school, he still gets roped into joining the baseball club because he is somewhat of a well known name. So we follow Mihashi get over his trauma and learning to trust his new friends as well as face his fears and get back into baseball.

That really is the bare basic plot of this stage. To be honest, I just want to flail over so many parts of this play so lets get to that okay? OKAY!

I have so many feels about Ookiku!! I enjoyed this stage so much! I cried! I laughed! It was so good!! 

First things first, the opening and end dances were so good! I thoroughly enjoyed them. But unfortuntately for Ino, he was stood right next to Naya! xD Ino looked like such a bad dancer being stood next to Naya who's dancing was and is just amazing. 

One scene that really stood out to me what the Training Camp scene. I really, really enjoyed this scene so much and was a lot of fun!

There were a lot of cute moments of Naya and Ino Hugging; Ino and JP hugging; and Naya and JP hugging. I just ate it all up. I loved seeing these little moments that weren't exactly the center of the scene or the story but they were there and they were a lot of fun to witness and see! ^_^

Now for some character/actor break downs:

I have to mention Nishime first because he's the lead actor. I feel like Nishime’s character in this was similar to his character in Ghost or at least reminded me of that character. I think Nishime did such a good job and I really want to see him get more work! I’ve enjoyed both of the stage plays I’ve seen him in (the other was Satomi Hakkenden: review here), and I want to see him continue stage acting and see his progress and see him getting better!  

Next we have Ino! I loved angry Ino in this and I could definitely see the similarities between this character and Imaizumi (who he'll start playing in the next Yowamushi Pedal stage). His character in this is part fun, part angry but he's a whole lot of 'caring for his friends'. But also, for some reason throughout this stage I got major feelings of just wanting to see Ino do a romantic role I think he’d be the cutest! 

Even though he’s clearly a little shit! Which leads me to my next point about him! Ino is a little shit when people say their lines wrong xD There was a scene where the teacher kept messing up all his lines and Ino just stood up (it was in the middle of a meeting and the students were all sat down) and was really calling and drawing attention to it like 'what? What was that? WHAT DID YOU SAY? Just say that again' xD it was so funny that the audience were too busy laughing and clapping to Ino's reactions and reponses while the poor actor tried to continue the scene. It was hilarious! 

Now moving onto some others, but very quickly in comparison to the four guys I focused on (JP, Naya, Nishime, Ino):

I was surprised to see that Masshu played on the other schools' teams. In fact, all of the non-Nishiura actors essentially played as all the other schools! So it was interesting seeing Masshu play different characters with slightly different personalities. But he also had his main moment as Nishime's ex-team mate and trying to fix the problem between Nishime and Hatake.

Another shocker and surprising thing was how quickly I ended up really liking Junta! Pretty much straight after his school starts against Nishiura I started liking him and he end up being a baseball pitcher. I can't explain why I liked him so much but I just did.

An even small quick note is that Bishin's body is tiny!! Seriously, so tiny!

There was one character in Nishiura who was always nervous and didn't have much confidence and he tended to hug Ino a lot which was really cute. I think it was Sakaeguchi.

Oooohhh! Going back to Nishime and Ino for a moment! There was a really cute scene during their first match where Nishime gets scared and hides away just before matches starts because it's been so long since he's been a pitcher. Ino finds him and sits down next to him and tells him that everything is going to be okay and stuff, and all of a sudden there is this 'daisuke / I like you moment' and they hug and it becomes really bromance and -- I SHIP IT! It was a really good moment.

OOOHH Which leads me to an even juicer scene! Between Junta and Ino! Because they are opposing teams, they obviously have some rivalry going on, and Junta and Ino get WAY too close, and because of the helmet on Ino's head and with Ino facing away from the audience, it totally looked like they were kissing! I am not joking you but at this time, most of the audience SQUEALED at that one tiny part because of how MAJORLY it looked like they were kissing. Hey again... I SHIP IT! I hope this scene makes it onto the dvd -- I heard from a friend who also watched it that they didn't do that during the performance she saw! WAAAH?! Good thinking Ino << I bet it was him.

Also, SO MUCH Ino crotch in this! He’s a pitcher so obviously his has to have his legs wide apart so balance and catching the ball etc. and he faces the audience the entire time so yes.... WIDE CROTCH VIEWS ALL ROUND!

Just in general those Baseball pants are NICE around all their legs, butts and...other things xD

Now lets rave about the MVP who is oh-so-clearly: NAYA TAKERU! NAYA-CHAN! PATCH-KUN! TAKE-CHAN! 

Naya is the MVP of this damn stage! He was so freaking funny in this and caused the most of the audience to focus on and be laughing at him rather than paying attention to what's happening in the scene. He also broke the fourth wall quite a few times during his stupid and silly moments. <<- in fact JP did this too when Naya and he were pretending to play catch with an invisible ball and he pretended it fell of stage and into the audience so he asked a girl in the first row to through it back up to him. In fact, speaking of JP let me quickly mention him some more; unfortunately because of how far back I was and because of damn Naya stealing my attention completely from the very first second, it took me ages to find where JP was! But I did think in the very first few minutes 'oooh that guy in the background is really handsome and has really nice hair -- turns out THAT was JP! No wonder the guy caught my attention >.< it's just meant to be haha ANYWAY BACK TO NAYA!

So many things about Naya's character in this I loved! He was hilarious, he was the center of (what I assumed were) higawaris/daily changes, his dancing was amazing (as expected because he's done hiphop and martial arts all his life), his was just a brilliant character and had so much presence on stage -- but I've always felt this way about Naya I think. AND Naya’s back flip was so cool!!! For some reason, TouStage has yet to incorporate Naya's skills fully (same with Shiina) but one day I hope they do. Also Naya's character spends so much time doing doggy poses that shows he cute little butt off perfectly, so of course I enjoyed that! And also I was impressed he could do those poses! I don't think I'm flexible enough anymore to do them =[ Naya is also what made the Training Camp scene so great! There's a moment where he has to count the numbers up on a board but, because he's a badass, he does two boards at once and it was pretty funny. 

AND, I don't know if it was just me but I really felt like the coach, Maria, and Naya’s character, Tajma, were dating. There were just a lot of little things where I could really see chemistry between them - even though it appears like his character is supposed to be trying to get the new coach trainee's, Chiyo, attention - I seriously felt like maybe Tajima and Maria were secretly dating. I can't explain it but their chemistry was just great in my opinion.

I will definitely be getting Naya’s bromides from this stage if they ever make their way to AGS (Animate: AkibaGirls Station) in the future.

Now onto the finale part of the stage which was the match against Tosei. The very final game scene had me so very nervous! I honestly couldn't tell which route they were going to take and I was legit nervous about the game’s result! I cried at the end too! From the moment I started freaking that they weren't going to win, right up to the final score and celebration, I was crying. In fact, it seemed like quite a lot of people were crying during these moments too!

And, if you don't trust my opinion on this stage for some crazy reason, there were 3 huge rounds of applause during the curtain call!! So, clearly it was great! AND IT WAS!

I only have TWO NEGATIVES.

For this stage, they didn't use mics, which doesn't bother me. But, in comparison to how well the male actors voices' traveled, and if someone with lesser hearing ability than me was at the show, the girls were a tad difficult to hear at times. I could hear them all pretty well 99.99% of the time but now and again I did think 'oh if my Japanese wasn't as good as it is' or 'if I was right at the back' or 'if my hearing started to go' I would've had a lot of trouble hearing and understanding them I think.

And the second negative has already been mentioned in the Non-Spoiler section; this ONE MOTHERFUCKER who had the audacity to come to a stage and SLEEP through it. And not only just sleeping, SNORING SO LOUDLY for at least 40% of the play, and a lot of this play has NO background music so the actors could hear it(!), I was legit getting so PISSED OFF and ANGRY at the person. DON'T FUCKING TURN UP IF YOU'RE TIRED! If you DO fall asleep, but you know you're a snorer, for the sake and respect for the fucking actors, please FUCK OFF. I was so surprised no staff came in to ask and escort the person out. If I had been on an AISLE seat, I definitely would've gone out to the staff and asked them to remove the IDIOT! Thanks to them, between the Nishiura vs Mihoshi match and the Training Camp and then the middle of the final game Nishiura vs Tosei, I got really taken out of the story and it took me ages to get back into it again, so this motherfucker really affected my enjoyment of this stage to an extent.

YAY my first ask!! Okay so since you didn’t say it’s puzzleshipping I am going to do JUST headcanons of them as a person. Starting with my fav boy, Yami!

Yami Headcanons:

-Yami loves horses and is really good with them! Like seriously he loves horses!!

-He goes by Atemu or Yami, you can call him whatever. However he really honestly doesn’t like being called Pharaoh after his name is found. Which brings me to my next headcanon.

-He doesn’t feel like a Pharaoh anymore. Living in the present day, with his friends and Aibou. He is used to the normalness of it. Yeah he has a few bad guys now and than and sometimes will have his Pharaohness come out. Like try and persuade someone to do something for him. But honestly he just wants to be normal, get a job, go to uni maybe?

-My fav one is that he had multiple personalities! When he is out in public, he is very formal! He’s kind, holds his posture perfectly, he holds doors open for ladies. He is just a very well mannered young man. With his friends(the gang!!) he is a little more laid back, unless they are in public settings where he can be formal. But he laughs his belly laugh, lossens up a little, and will crack a joke or two. Now when he is home/around Yugi, he is like totally a different person. He acts like a teenage boy for sure! Rough houses, chases Yugi around the house, he pokes him, makes paper airplanes and throws them when Yugi is doing his homework. Reads comics, plays on the computer, and he loves watching TV, cooking shows criminal shows are his favorite.

-Yami LOVES to cook! Sometimes when Yugi is doing homework, he will turn the TV for Yami. Poor Pharaoh doesn’t like being in the puzzle, so he tends to just sit on the bed, which brought Yugi to get a small tv for his room, so he could actually get something out of staring into nothing. Because of that, he fell in love with cooking shows and eventually asked Yugi if he could try something. He happily let him and was shocked that he learned to cook just from watching TV!

-Last one for our Yami! He loves naps! Honestly can’t tell ya why, I just think he likes a good nap once in a while. It’s a good excuse to pause the world around you and he loves that. He’s been through so much, just escape from it all would be a nice thing to do and naps are the way he does it.

Yugi Headcanons:

-Yugi is a snorer! Yes yes yes!! I said it!! I believe Yugi snores and he can snore pretty loud sometimes! Yami has actually had to wake Yugi up thinking he was like sick or needed help or something.

-He has diabetes!! It’s supposedly canon but Kazuki has never confirmed or denied....he does that a lot!! So of course I say he is! Which again brings Yami into a panic when Yugi is having issues with his blood pressure. “It’s too low Yugi, get a candy bar Yugi, Yugi you need to rest.” He is so annoyed by the big brother attitude but he knows he’s right. So yeah based off some theories off the internet and investigating...I believe Yugi is type 1 diabetic and hypoglycemic.

-Yugi is a chicken shit! He spooks too easily and a lot of it has to do with bullies as he grew up. You can NOT sneak up on Yugi....he will scream and he may hit!

-I like to believe Yugi is very romantic. His love language for sure is physical touch, because of all the hits he took growing up, he loves a gentle touch and he loves to touch. It’s just how he works.

-Yugi has daddy issues, we all know it!! Like come on his dad travels the world and never stopped to really pay attention to his son. His son is the freaking King of Games, you can’t send a letter or call and say “Hey son congrats!” Nope, that’s where I put my foot down! Good bye daddio!

-On top of that, Yugi is a mama’s boy. Though he has his moments like any teenager, he is totally a mama’s boy and loves his mom with all his heart. To go along with his love language, his mom also is a physical touch type of person and they hug each other every day! No matter what! Yugi and his mom have to hug! It’s become there thing.

-BONUS!!! After Yugi’s dad left at the age of 6, he had a weird attack, that led to realize he was diabetic. His mom cried at the hospital, thinking he was dying. When Yugi finally was awake and he saw his mom crying he told her that he promised her he would never leave her, just like daddy left. He said he would always take his medicine and never leave. She hugged him and he hugged her, which is where the daily hugs started. It was his way of reminding her that he was still there. A year later Yugi’s grandpa gave him a puzzle(yep THE puzzle!) exactly a year after he got diagnosed.

It’s my story and I am sticking with it! Anymore???? :D I most likely have more and can’t remember them this late at night O.O

Sarazanmai episode 5 thoughts

The episode begins with the happy memories of when Haruka was born. Kazuki became an older brother and he swore to protect Haruka. Immediately after that there’s a scene that takes place a few years later where Kazuki’s dying grandfather badmouths Kazuki’s mother. Kazuki then realises that he has another mother who he got taken away from.

I know there were lots of theories about this and although I thought they seemed plausible at first, the last few episodes and the guidebook made me disregard them so now I’m feeling just a tiny bit salty. I also wonder if those theories were as spread and discussed as they were because of spoilers.

I think the characters look similar enough to be seen as related, but then again Kazuki being adopted fits his story and explains his motivations extremely well. I could only make good guesses before, but now I finally know why he’s the way he is and it feels nice.

Tooi doesn’t understand Kazuki either, how he can be so calm after finding out about his secret. He understands Kazuki even less when Kazuki tells him he’s almost envious of him.

Then it’s time for Tooi to knock out Sara’s manager and he does so WITH A CUCUMBER. Then it’s time for him to go after Sara as well, who’s sitting around in a dressing room looking at pictures of cucumbers. She’s completely enthralled by the cucumber Tooi is holding, just like an animal. You could get her to go anywhere with it, which is pretty much what happens next. However, whenever Tooi locks her in somewhere she manages to sneak out in her kappa form. I still don’t get how both she and her kappa form can appear on TV and in photos at the same time, but she’s definitely a kappa like lifeform. The scenes with her are super fun. I really enjoy Sara and can’t wait to see even more of her!

Kazuki takes Sara’s place and texts Haruka. He confirms the phrases they’re supposed to exchange; “from the beginning to the end” and ”we’re connected in a circle”. This sounds like something from The Little Prince, but I’m not sure if it’s actually from there or not. It’s been like 10 years since I read the book and I also read it in French which is like my 4th language. The phrase also matches with Mabu’s catchphrase and how the boys connect through Sarazanmai. Then there’s also the A etc.

Enta’s with Haruka and Kazuki’s parents. Haruka watches Sara TV and sees that today’s lucky item is a sachet, a small scented bag. Enta’s kinda awkward in an adorable way when he asks the rest about Kazuki’s whereabouts. He’s worried Kazuki’s secret will be revealed.

This week Kawausoiya comes early. Some guy is making sachets using Japanese giant salamander secretions. The salamanders are super cute, but what’s going on is pretty gross.

Then it’s time for Kazuki to deceive everyone at the fan meeting. This is extremely nerve wrecking for me, but surprisingly enough he succeeds.

When Haruka shakes Sara-Kazuki’s hands Kazuki is reminded of their past. Once Kazuki found out about not being related to his family, he took some distance to them. He stopped wearing matching clothes with them and discovered soccer instead. However Haruka told him that no matter what he wears or what he does, from the beginning to the end they’re connected in a circle. That moved Kazuki then and it moves him now, but before he can do anything else Sara’s manager appears and calls him a fake. Haruka doesn’t believe the manager, but then the real Sara also appears. Since Sara can’t reply to Haruka’s part of the phrase, he doesn’t believe her to be the real one, but then the manager snatches Kazuki’s wig and it’s all over for him.

I’ve been covering my entire face with both of my hands for this entire scene, it’s making me so anxious and I feel bad for Kazuki now that his secret is out. There’s no time for more of a showdown here. Haruka’s been holding on to a sachet that flies away, the kappa zombie appeared and Kazuki runs away to Keppi’s place. Both Tooi and Enta follow him. They argue for a bit and then Keppi turns all of them into kappa.

Just like Reo and Mabu said last week, the zombie seems to be stronger. Even though he boys’ attacks aren’t as strong, they succeed in grabbing the zombie shirikodama and connecting through Sarazanmai. It’s Kazuki’s secret that’s getting leaked again. He has actually met his birth mother, who he could recognize by her familiar smell. It’s the same smell that was coming out of Haruka’s sachet. Why did Haruka have it? Then the leak is disrupted and Kazuki’s the one to lose his shirikodama. They’ve failed to defeat the zombie.

Keppi’s mad. There is no plate of hope and the boys can’t return to their human forms either. Kazuki says he doesn’t mind staying as a kappa and then he reveals the rest of his secret.

Although Kazuki met his birth mother, he wanted to stay with his family, together with his precious little brother. When he was about to go meet his mother for the last time Haruka followed him. Kazuki tried to make him go away, but Haruka didn’t listen, got run over by a car and lost his legs.

Kappa-Kazuki cries and reveals that everything he’s done so far, quitting soccer, stealing Nyantaro, deceiving Haruka etc. hasn’t been for Haruka’s sake, but to protect himself.

The after credits scene gives us the promised new ReoMabu scene and aaaaaaahhh it’s amazing!!!!! Painful, but oh so promising!!

Next episode should mark the halfway point of Sarazanmai. I think it’ll conclude Kazuki’s storyline somewhat and I believe that the second half of the anime will focus more on Reo and Mabu. I also wonder if there’s something bigger going on with Haruka, besides him knowing about Kazuki not being his blood related brother?

2017.08.22 Captain Tsubasa Review!

I FINALLY got to see something with Seiya in it! I was super duper excited regardless of it being a football stage - football really isn’t my thing but I’ve been open about all the other sports anime and stages so why not football too?!

NON-SPOILER REVIEW Overall: This was so much fun, visually great, and so entertaining! It makes me so sad how empty the place once because they had a damn good play to perform. I was nervous beforehand because football really isn’t my thing but what with the projection mapping, and most of the boys knowing acrobatics, they produced this: football, but with high beat music, acrobatics, amazing dance moves and comedy! It was so well done! I was so impressed. From start to finish I was interested. I super duper love how they incorporated the football moves into dances and added acrobatics and such into the training sequences and the matches etc. It really was great! Also, the music was out of this world; I need a CD of the music NOW. I am still hoping there’s going to be a surprise DVD announcement because I really want this on DVD. Rating: 8/10

SPOILER REVIEW

PreShow

Row 12 and 13 seemed to have some Sony VR tech to put on – no fair! I want this special tech too! xD apparently you could feel stuff as the boys played football and it made it an even better experience - I already had the time of my life so how it improved it, I have no idea.

The Show

Like I mentioned about in the non-spoiler: this is actually a LOT of fun! They’ve incorporated the football movements INTO dances so it’s much more visually pleasing and entertaining! Also, there is so much running around the room by the boys. Especially during the scene when they first land in (I think) Italy, and Tsubasa just wants to play football so he runs off and the boys have to run after him and stop him from causing havoc, but it’s Tsubasa so naturally he outruns them and everything. This scene is very, very entertaining; first they started with moving the sections of panels about the stage and the different members of the group interchanged between them as they searched for Tsubasa. They moved the panels so flawlessly! Then Tsubasa ended up running into the seating area and everyone followed and there was just madness about the room xD the music to it added to the hilarity and the craziness. I know Seiya ran past my side during this scene, and I think Matsui and Katou did too.

The projection mapping is so well done and creative! There’s one scene where there’s a helicopter (created by the projection mapping) but it runs all along the side of the theatre before going ‘on stage’ which I thought was super cool. I also like how they did, similar to Tenimyu, had a light on the floor to show where the football was as it was being passed around.

And how could I forget the music! Holy damn the music is sooooo good! It really gets you in the mood to dance! They had techno-like twists on classic football songs too! I wish you all could hear the music! Holy moly...The music was so good that I asked them on the questionnaire if we could get a CD release because the music helped the stage be so much more entertaining and really got you into the beat and into the dancing and just in the right mood to watch some crazy high school boys run about the room xD

What was even more impressive (could I be any more impressed at this point?) was that pretty much all of them could do some sort of acrobatics or dance. I thought that maybe some actors might be too old for this but… it worked. It really worked. They were all really good at something related to dance or acrobatics. Of course we had the beautiful Seiya showing off AF and jumping off the top of goal posts and doing high back flips to score goals and such. We also had Koki who we all know is really good at dancing and did this cool jagged dancing (part robot-like). Nakamura too! He had all those dance, hip-hop moves going on and he even did a Michael Jackson lean -- of course he was strapped in but still!! They all excelled in something which was great to see!

There’s a lot of funny moments too! I already mentioned the one with Tsubasa running around the room and everyone chasing him. We also had one person who fell asleep on the plane and didn’t wake up until everyone had already gotten off xD there’s this sweet but funny moment where the boys bond and end up jumping in a lake and splashing water about - it was super cute and it was a ‘lets patch up and be friends again’ type of scene. I also wrote; Doi’s character is funny. But I don’t remember anything specifically, sorry >.<

I was of course happy to see Seiya and he was so adorable as Tsubasa <3

Also, I cried quite a bit in the second half of this play. I think I just got so overwhelmed; It ended up being such a great show yet so many tickets didn’t sell but it deserved so much more love than what it got, and everyone did an amazing job and the final match where they did all these acrobatics and really entertained us and really succeeded in making football (and a football manga) so much fun on stage; I just enjoyed myself so much that I cried during the climax scene and when it finished. I really wish I’d gone a second and third time like I said I was going to... I wish I could remember this stage much more clearly. It was so freaking good. And I’m so sad there’s no DVD announcement either.

I was that impressed, I went in with the intention of only buying two photosets, and I came out with an extra one xD

There’s a Captain Tsubasa Stage Event at the end of the month that I’m going t. Apparently they’ll be showing some of the backstage and some of the final show and hopefully, fingers crossed, they’ll announce the dvd!

✦ as mentioned before, Kazuki’s spent the past 7 or so years working as a host — ie. he gets paid an ungodly amount of money to get drunk and fake being someone’s boyfriend for a few hours a night, at a Kabukicho club called Fang (he’s recently grown to hate that name a whole fucktonne btw) ✧ works under the pseudonym Mana. really doesn’t want his customers knowing his real name tbh, his ace is as batshit as you’d expect from someone who’s willing to blow tens of thousands of yen on a nightly basis on a host, and the last thing he wants is her being able to track down where he lives. ✦ usually falls in love with his customers so easily, it’s not even funny. unless he’s already in a relationship at the time, he rarely goes so much as 2 weeks without highkey crushing on / dating one of his customers. consequently he’s got a bit of a reputation for being really, really easy, both in that he’s a ho and also a complete fool who’s really easily to manipulate  — he’s had to pay off a fair few extortionate tabs after his customers have bailed and disappeared on him. ✧ has some pretty severe problems with alcohol because of his job (really bad for binge drinking, frequently has alcohol related illnesses, etc...). he’s very popular among customers, which means he tends to end up drinking like a fish while at work, frequently has to make himself throw up because of it and rarely ever leaves work in a state anything close to sober. ✦ makes money. big money. his pretty face and highly empathetic nature make him a really popular choice for shimei / tantou, consequently he has a lot of regular customers, consistently ranks within the top 3 at his club, if not as number 1, gets contracted for modelling jobs, etc... ✧ unless you meet him at his club, you’ve gotta be at least a level 5 friend to know what he does for a living. while very successful at his job, he’s also very aware that host clubs don’t exactly have a shining reputation among most people, and so he tends not to be particularly honest about his job with people who don’t work as part of the mizushobai / who he hasn’t met within the club. usually he insists he’s a model — certainly, that’s what his parents think he’s doing! ✦ makes up rumours about himself on host forums when he’s bored. mostly it’s stuff along the lines of “he’ll take you on dates if you bring him doritos at work“. he absolutely takes it too far sometimes though, took sick leave off work when he began turning into a vamp and started a rumour that he was absent because he’d died to get attention. ✧ on that note, there’s a rumour going around on these forums that he’s stopped doing makura (attracting customers by sleeping with them) because he has a girlfriend now, and while there’s... some degree of truth to it, the real reason he stopped doing it in the first place is that the last time he slept with a customer, he was pretty new to being a vampire, didn’t realize falling asleep after would stop his breathing and absolutely terrified the life out of the poor girl when she woke up before him. ✦ primarily he’s a tomoei host though! his main appeal /  whole business conduct dealio is trying to be your friend, listen to your problems, give you advice, etc... he’s really bad at that whole ‘pretend to care, but don’t genuinely do it‘ part though, gets really invested in his customers problems, cries about them at night, etc... ✧ he’s basically that one guy from the great happiness space who gets trashed towards the end and starts crying about making lonely peoples’ dreams come true tbh.

I managed to be smack in the front front row for this show! I was so obvious to everyone *hides* and they could see me flinch whenever action scenes started because I was so worried they’d fall off the stage xD But now to the good stuff!

NON-SPOILER REVIEW Overall: I always love coming to these more ‘indie’ like shows. Also with there being some actors I know and have seen before in it, I went into it without reading the synopsis (as usual with these smaller shows) and I freaking loved it! LiveDog once again managed to take a simple storyline and turns it into something more fantastical, entertaining and heartwarming! The adlibs definitely were crazy. I had so much fun with this stage and laughed until I cried on at least two occasions! Hiroki-kun played a badass which was amazing for me too ^_^  I cannot wait for the DVD! I’ll definitely be paying closer attention to LiveDog in future; they’ve proved twice in a row that they can produce really good stuff! Rating: 8/10

SPOILER REVIEW

The Story

It starts off with Kariya and Kiyoko’s wedding, but towards the end someone, calling themselves Daisuke, breaks into the party and claims he has some unfinished business with Yuuji who one of the guests. In an attempt to stop the fight, Kariya helps but ends up being stabbed and dies. He wakes up in a room thinking it was all a dream: turns out he IS dead and that there’s people in this limbo-like world, who not only write people’s live as if they were scripts of a tv show, but also they decide the hair, the make up and the style. Kariya refuses to believe that his entire life (and everyone else’s) was one already written out script and that every decision he ever made, even down his clothing, were not really his decisions. Meanwhile in the real world, Kiyoko is devastated but believes she must stay strong and carry on for his sake. Unfortunately that’s going OFF the script for her life (which should never happen), so Agents from the limbo-world intervene and kill her, making it look like a suicide. Kariya and Kiyoko’s friends are devastated at Kariya’s death and even more shocked about Kiyoko’s suicide! They believe it didn’t really happen. So with the help of a Medium they find a way into the limbo world to rescue their friends and figure out what’s going on. 

Sounds both simple but amazing right?! Well it was!

I really like how they set up the stage and the pamphlet. They just quote ShakeSpeare:

All the world's a stage, And all the men and women merely players.

Which easily sets up the story if you think about it.

Staging/Aesthetics

I shit myself the entire time they fought because I was front row and smack in the middle. I definitely flinched a few times and they probably noticed me flinching. But nothing went wrong, no one fell off stage, it all went smoothly so PHEW!

This is the second time I’ve seen a LiveDog production (first one was Onigir, review here) and I’ve enjoyed both of them! I’ve been keeping an eye on what they do for about 8 months so safe to say there’s a production company I’m enoying and beginnig to trust in what they make. The other two I would say is Odd Etertainment and MMJ. << they did Soul Flower, Konchuuger, Konchuuger Saien, Wakasamagumi, Marker Light Blue.

The stage was a nice set up and they easily pulled parts on and off stage too and nothing too big. But of course with there being stairs my heart was a little worried. And it was a tiny stage compared to what their should be for (again) a cast of this size and the types of stunts they did.

Adlibs and Comedy

So much comedy though! I was honestly crying with laughter. So many adlibs. Here are some examples:

- When Kariya is first told he needs to find a new life and script to take on, his Agent Rina shows him two lives he could do:

☆  The first is he wants an easy life so the one she shows him is of Hikikomori-kun (Watanabe) who is obsessed with Sengoku warlords and will imitate them a lot ‘in my left hand I have... a sword!...and in my right hand I have...’ (I don’t remember the rest). He also gets his power from the bag of crisps (chips). Meanwhile he mother spends a lot of time banging on his door, trying to get him out and when she finally breaks in and opens his windows, he pretends to be dying. 

☆ The second one is of a very very successful business man (played by Nakashima) who uses his high-end contact to get his way. He’s also popular with the ladies and has one for every night of the week/ But his downfall is... well honestly I was expecting his downfall to be that he’s gay but he’s self-conscious and low in confident to break all those women’s hearts...but in actual fact, he just has one shy but crazy, stalker girl who, when he rejects to go on a date with her, she kills him. This was a very, very funny story. Nakashima first comes on and smooths his hair back and spins then like does the gun hand thing to the audience, then he just continues to do it when Kariya is talking to Rina until he has to do the next part of the story. Also when he first came on he was like ‘yeah I am living! Say it with me! IKITERU (life)!’ and the audience didn’t respond, so he went ‘nah come on! IKITERU! *we replied* not enough! IKITERU! *we shout* Okay now really push it and go rrrrrrrrru! Again!Rrrrrrru! I! KI! TE! RU!’ and then he jumped off stage and to the back and got one girl to do it and then he gave her some chocolate and jumped back on stage (by the point Yamaoki and Otokawa were laughing so hard at the back of the stage so this was clearly Nakashima just adlibbing his way through) and ‘Okay one last time! IKITERU! Thank you!’ we all clapped so hard and Yamaoki just turned to us like ‘Sorry for the disturbance’ xD Nakashima kept a straight face the entire time he did the bit. He was gold.

- About half way through there’s Auditions for a new script so two numbers (when they die, they’re labelled as numbers because they’re no longer the character of the life they just died in) come on stage to audition:

☆ One of them (Watanabe) did a Morning Musume dance and got the audience to clap along to the rhythm. James was like ‘do you really think people enjoyed it? Wouldn’t this be better?’ and he mimicked the Hikikomri skit from earlier when he did the old warlord dance type thing and was like ‘in my right hand I have a fan’ and Watanabe looked to the audience for sympathy ‘you enjoyed it right?’, and everyone in the audience clapped, so James stopped what he was doing and said ‘I stand corrected’ xD ☆ The second one (Kawasaki) was an older man pretending to be a Junior High kid who was doing judo against an elementary kid and he lost. James’ reaction was absolutely speechless and just looked at the audience and said ‘I’m very, very sorry for this‘ which cracked everyone up again. It was so random and weird that it was funny and James’ reaction made it all the more hilarious.

- Another funny scene was whenever Miwa came on stage. She did her own theme song opening and this funny dance every single time that got us laughing.

That’s all I’ll say for the comedy scenes for now.

Acting and Character Traits

Yamaoki Yuuki as Kariya: Guys! His pictures do not do him justice! He is SO good looking in real life! And he’s very slender too! I remember him looking chubby-ish in Messiah but he looks so good here! He also did his own stunts of like flipping over which were amazing! I was worried he’d hurt his back but he was fine ^_^ Kariya is such a sweet character too and sacrifices himself for his friends and his wife all the time! I spent this entire play going ‘where the fuck do I recognise this guy from?!’ and when I finally got home and realised it was Messiah, I freaked the fuck out. Seeing him in this has definitely made me softer on his Messiah character now...

Imade Mai as Kiyoko: She's got to be an idol... I’ve freaking seen her before too *googles* ahhh she’s from SKE! She definitely has the AKB look.. no wonder I recognised her... But it appears like she’s done a lot of stage too which is awesome. She’s very pretty, and I was impressed in during the opening where everyone was dancing and, her and Yamaoki were center stage dancing when she lifted her leg up to his arm and they did like a splits curtsey thing. So I was impressed with her flexibility. She did a good job in this and she was very emotional. Her performance was very good and believable. She’s cute... I’m trying NOT to get a girl crush here okay...

Otokawa Arina as Rina: She’s like Kariya’s Life Agent who tries to find him his next script. She is very sexy. She looked very good in her costume. I also loved how her character had this emotional turmoil and mental breakdown going on, and when it finally surfaces and she’s yelling at Naoe ‘I don’t feel! I’ve never lived! I’ve never cried! Do you know how frustrating it is to never experience life?!’, and all of a sudden tears fall from her eyes and she touches her face while saying, ‘what’s this?... tears?’, and she smiles and cries more because she’s finally cried for the first time in her life. But then she commits suicide; which was expected but still sad to watch happen.

Nakashima Takami as Yuuji: He is Kariya’s best friend; the one who Daisuke tried to attack at the wedding. Nakashima is a freaking genius! He is such a good actor! Not only can he stay in his character and give this great performance, but he’s also able to do ridiculous adlibs without cracking himself up and can so easily go into serious mode straight after it. Watching his act was so mesmerising. He’s very, very good. I also really liked his character. He was a strong character and tries so hard to save and protect his friends.

Karasuma Runa as Sayaka: She comes off very strong-willed and over-powering which, at first, is rather annoying, but when you find out the reason she’s strong-willed is because she’s so aware of herself and her beliefs. Not only that, she’s a badass fighter! So it took some character development to really appreciate her character.

Sono Kazuki as Takayuki: Friends with Kariya and Yuuji. He made me laugh so hard. He was the typical geek; very, very intelligent but an absolute wimp. He could always think of ways to help people out and had really good theories and such, and he was very kind and cared about his friends, but when it came to fighting, he pretty much quivered in a corner while Yuuji and Sayaka kicked everyone’s asses xD His wimpiness definitely gave me the giggles quite a few times.

Yano Airi as Misato: Kiyoko and Sayaka’s friend. She was like the weird girl who is into ghosts and paranormal but it’s thanks to her that the four of them got in contact with Miwa and thanks to her that they got into the limbo-like world.

Sugahara Yutaka as Atsushi: He’s the Director in the limbo-world and is very much use to control and running things on the ‘set’.

Nakamura Rena as Kozue: She decided the make-up in people’s lives.

Kawasaki Masahiro as Toshiko: He did everyone’s Hair. This was the guy who did the ridiculous Judo skit xD he has a running joke where, just after James gets annoyed that people aren’t sticking to their script and that theirs a rebellion without the company, he goes to storm out but does so by grabbing Toshiko’s white wig and throwing it on the floor, leaving Toshiko absolutely horrified as he stares at the wig, sulks and then eventually picks it up. It happens again in about two more scenes and he’s just like ‘can you not with my hair?!’ xD

Hajikano Natsuki as Takako: AD to the Director. She was super cute! She was a little clumsy, always falling over and letting the scripts fly all over the place. But she was super bouncy and cute.

Tanaka Hiroki as Naoe: He doesn’t turn up for AGES in this stage, so I was super worried he’d only have a small role, but he ended up having quite an important one! We’re first introduced to him as one of the script writers, but he finds it strange that people can’t choose what they want to do and that if people go off the script, that Agents must get involved and kill them off. He soon finds one script that really isn’t going as it should and using this loop hole to start bringing down the Life ‘company’ he works for. Eventually it turns out he’s an undercover agent for (I think) the gods and was given the mission to infiltrate and put a stop to this Scripted System. He was so badass you guys! First he looked very sexy in his tight jeans and waistcoat! And then we Agent S went after him and them to started fighting!! It was so good! Because they both have some sort of muscle-building or fighting or acrobat-like background, they did like cartwheels and really, really well controls spin kicks and that scene stops with them at gun point with each other! It’s such a good scene!! He looked so cool in his spy gear too (which we took the chekis in! See below vvv)

Arisawa Mutsuki as Aya: She was like James’ underling and pretty did whatever he told her to do. She was a small role but when she threatened Naoe, you really felt it.

Shintami Naoto as Agent R: He was like the boss of the Agents who got rid of people who weren’t following he script they were given in life. They intervened a lot. They were the ones who killed Kiyoko. He has a cool stick that he fights with and he has this powerful aura but in actual fact, he’s just following James’ orders and has no real power to be honest.

Kamikoshi Shou as Agent S: This adorable boy!! As soon as he came on stage I was like ‘he’s so cute!! I wanna cuddle him!’ But, I shit not you guys! They just keep getting younger! He’s totally cute and adorable BUT he is ONLY 16!!! I could tell straight away he was young but I was assuming like 18/19, but NO! Freaking 16?! *dead* I’m a bad person... ANYWAY! His character was super interesting too. His fight scene with Naoe was totally awesome and he did cartwheels literally a foot away from me and was a good character! << good as in interesting, not good as in a good person. I love how he originally was fighting it out with Naoe and THEN paired up with Naoe in the end hand helped everyone out! But it hurt my heart when James pretty much beat the shit out of him and shot/stabbed him in the leg and seriously injured him </3

OH! And he’s doing the next ASSH Stage with Hiroki-kun too! Already got my ticket for that one! ^_^ 

Maeda Yukari as Agent X: She was part of the group of Agents but unfortunately stayed on the bad side and was easily defeated.

Tsujimoto Shohei as Daisuke:  I really, really like his blue eye contacts in this and I thought his fight scenes and every time he and Yuuji were about to fight it out, their scenes together where so good! OH! But there was one scene; while Kariya and Kiyoko are on the run in the limbo-world, they finally get a moment together and reminisce about how they first met and the fireworks they went to and everything and just as they’re about to kiss, Daisuke walks into the room and just stops in his steps. He’s silent for a good 30 seconds before ‘what are you doing here?’, and then they try to resume the kiss, ‘hang on! It’s dangerous here! Don’t do that!’ They attempt again, ‘you could get hurt! Don’t stay here!’ and they’re like ‘we’ll be okay, you just carry on finding who you need’, so he’s like ‘oh...okay...’ goes to walk away when, ‘hang on I’m after you two!’ and then him attempting to chase and kill them restarts up. It’s such a good scene >.<

Fujita Sena as Miwako: She is like one of the gods of the world and was the one that managed to get Yuuji and co to the world where Kariya and Kiyoko were. I already mentioned about her ridiculous entrance dance and song she did every time. It was very amusing.

Watanabe Makoto as Hikikomorikun: This guy was hilarious! Not only did he do the hilarious Hikikomori skit and the Morning Musume skit, he did some random small roles too and did great! I really enjoyed whatever he did in this stage! I’ll keep a small eye on him.

Uchibori Katsutoshi as James Ushima: He’s the CEO of this Life Script Company. He was SO good you guys! I loved him from the moment he walked on stage! He’s one of the two guys (Yamaoki being the other one) I recognised him straight away and lets all admit it, he’s not a bad looking fella! And with that pretty glittery underline makeup and his badass evilness he had going on? I enjoyed his role and performance A LOT! He also got some action scenes and was totally badass there too! I am so impressed with his performance <3 but seeing him beat Naoe and Agent S towards the end hurt my heart =[

Extras

The make-up in this was so good! I wanna pull out my own glitter makeup and join/match them! Apparently the other group had like eyeliner-drawn on vines (or something similar) on their faces rather than the glitter and the diamond like squares. Am I making sense? I totally wanna try out this make-up they had going on though and each one of them had something slightly different to the design!

I really liked the opening dance too and how they do like a robotic dance with signifies how they have no control over what they do and their lives.

AFTER THE SHOW

So we got to take chekis with the actors after the show so naturally I lined up in the (thankfully small) live for Hiroki-kun <3 see the beauty about Indie or smaller productions is that you get to talk to them after the show and for a decent amount of time too ^_^ Anyway I’m getting ahead...

So I got my cheki with Hiroki-kun but I got to talk to him before and after the shot. So first we talked about how he had read my letter BEFORE the show(!) and I was super shocked because I know, at least those in 2.5D, they get their letters AFTER a performance (or even at the end of a run). So, my reaction was pretty much “...what?!” and a little embarrassed. He said ‘it’ll be nice if you can get your 3 year visa right?’ and I’m like ummmm...yes...’ xD

So then we decided to do the chekis. He asked me what pose I wanted to do, and I’d completely forgotten to think of one! SO I said ‘Omakase/You decide’ and this happened:

OMG!!!! MakiChan is gunna kill me...

Hiroki-kun shook my hand quite a lot because he was like ‘you’re hands are so cold! Are you okay? They’re really cold! You sure you’re okay?!’ so he tried to make them warm. He looked super concerned >.< Yes, I was fine. Just my blood circulation sucks so if I don’t move for a few hours (like when I watch stages) I cool down very quickly and my body becomes cold but I don’t necessarily feel cold.

Then he said ‘you were in the front row too right?’ and I was like ‘I’m dead. I’m dead. He paid so much attention to me and my letter. I’m done *dead*’ inside. He is so sweet <3 

I also told him ‘you’re character is so cool in this!’ and he was like ‘yes!’ with like a champion pose. I replied ‘the entire time I was like ’so cool! so cool!’”, and he’s like ‘thanks so much!!’ xD
