I've been having a tough time lately, and when I don't have the energy for everything keeping up with social media is one of the first things I slip on. But I still care about all my writing buddies, so:
Reblog if you're not offended when people take a long time to answer asks, forget to reply to your replies, lag behind in tag games, or skip several weekly ask games.

ok - i've really been trying to ignore this in the tags bc it's literally a can of worms, but at this point i also can't not say something (this is about the whole poc thing, NOT starlatte27 whom we both seem to agree is full of bullshit).
i don't care for either trickster or 6. what they did was shitty and manipulative, no argument there. however, you doubling down on this whole skin-color thing is just as bad.
you're black, i get it - people claiming to be POC just so they can claim woke points must be insufferable. HOWEVER, having dark skin is NOT a pre-requisite for being POC. latinx, asians, indigenous groups - in this day and age people come from all sorts of mixed backgrounds, and what defines those backgrounds isn't limited to just physical appearance (otherwise "white-passing" wouldn't even be a topic of contention among us) - and THAT's not even throwing the whole albino thing into the mix
WHICH btw i believe i saw someone throw a link to you about already, outlining the different types of albinism (here is another one for reference, it might even be the same one) with highlights capped below for easy summary: https://www.healthline.com/health/albinism
notice how none of these forms of albinism described above are the dramatic typing that most people are familiar with from media (OCA1). i also must ask - why did you only use images of albinism from poc of potentially african descent? when poc albinos are just as physically diverse as poc without the condition:
now, for the main question - is 6 POC? probably not. but let's look at what you said and exactly how you said it:
"Uh, they took that really personally and started saying that I don't know what I'm talking about...because I'm not Italian, while 6 claimed to be Sicilian. I quickly apologized and deleted the reblog. Next thing I know, I see a pic of 6 and he looks nothing close to Sicilian, let alone Italian."
who exactly are you to tell someone whether they "look" sicilian enough, when you aren't even "sicilian, let alone italian" yourself?
and really, does it even matter to you whether they are or aren't? because let's be honest - it's none of my fucking business or anyone else's, seeing as we neither know the details of 6's heritage nor should we be caring so much to the point of literally stooping down to judge someone based solely on the color of their skin.
"I wont lie I probably shouldn't have said that he was lying"
yeah, no shit.
"but it just felt like someone wasn't telling me the complete truth. Next thing I know, i get accused as being racist and saying that 6 was "white-passing".....even tho he is flat out white, so that's not how that works. Tho he also says he is albino, which he isn't."
you're right, that's not how white-passing works. that is, however, how being racist works (even if racism was not your intent). i literally don't know what else to say to that, other than that you're ALSO jumping to conclusions about someone's medical background and how that, too, is a shitty and presumptuous thing to do.
i'd also like to address a few more things which i found particularly grating:
"... his English seemed pretty good to me. Also, that's weird to say, considering that's a European language. I don't think it's an overreaction to day [sic] that most Europeans know English, considering that is the birthplace of the language. It's very odd."
like, i literally didn't think i'd have to explain that ENGLAND is the birthplace of english. and while england is a part of the collective mass of nations that make up the continent of europe, not all europeans know english, nor do they inherently have complete mastery of the language if they do. that is not to say many europeans can't speak it, because they often must in order to simplify commerce between their countries' borders (and i say this as a fluent bilingual whose fluency on certain topics tends to lean more heavily one way or the other depending on when and where i studied their subject matter. YES, there's variance). THAT said:
"Never heard a non-English speaker use the term white-passing before, but maybe I'm just that ignorant 馃檮 Plus, with the bullshi- I mean, poetic shit that Trick says, it's odd that even [sic] understands him."
just because the term "white-passing" doesn't exactly exist in other languages doesn't mean the concept itself doesn't, or hasn't been recognised. hell, it's (unfortunately) the basis of the beauty industry throughout several asian countries - india and south korea being the more popular examples considering the extent people go through to lighten their skin via caustic substances/pluck their hairs/undergo invasive surgical procedures just to imitate that "ideal" hollywood caucasian profile. and just try being a white-passing latin american or otherwise bi-racial individual (where caucasian doesn't even have to factor in). by simply existing you p much guarantee having your identity picked apart raw by everyone you encounter because you are neither visible nor are you "sufficient" in your representation within the broader community; you're only ever just "half" to those who can confidently pronounce themselves "whole". can you imagine what that does to your confidence, what sort of complexes it might cause?
like ... it literally wouldn't have hurt you to just take their claims at face value and continue to focus on the actual argument you were having - bc what would you have even done, demand their medical records just to prove a point?
(and yes, i know you never once asked 6 for photographic evidence of his ethnicity or condition, but considering how you repeatedly dismissed their personal attributions - not the fandom bullshit. the literal personal details he put out about himself which for all intent and purpose are factual to his day-to-day existence ... while literally giving vaggie, a fictional character, more credence to her heritage in your previous blog posts (which i can't even complain about, as a member of the community she represents who wholeheartedly supports more representation like hers). it's just such a bad fucking take, especially when she doesn't exist, and 6 ultimately does.)
tl;dr - the fact remains that while 6 and trickster are full of shit, you, too, were not just petty, you were disrespectful. the ONLY thing that should have ever been addressed in your entire debate with them was their manipulation by lying through omission and attempting to guilt-trip the tumblr fandom into producing content per their personal hcs. everything else was you taking their bait and unnecessarily pouring the fuel that dragged out your own discourse
Can't believe you blocked starlatte for being black
No. I dont have them blocked. I went through my blocked tumblr list like five times and I do not, at all. I probably did have them blocked at some point, but not because they're black. They just have shitty criticism on Hazbin that I've ever seen. Here's a reblog from one of my posts on the AddictMV that they responded to
They do have me blocked tho, maybe because I'm black x3
Also, my god, I will keep saying this. 6c6 is not POC, at all. He's not even albino, at least not for POC people. He doesn't even have the same features as a albino poc person.
Also, funny enough, I still don't have 6c6 blocked either. He sure did block me though after we apologized to one another and so did Trick.

This is me right now. So much going on IRL, having giant huge break throughs with therapy that are both wonderful and destroying at the same time...and I've been struggling since May.
I plan on diving into old comments and asks this weekend while still trying to finish 3 fics.
Let's see what I can accomplish. Thank you for your patience with me.
