I got back into Jesskas because my bf and I were replaying MCSM and I was curious what stuff I could find on Tumblr, and oh boy I was not disappointed. Especially your work, it’s just plain amazing. Your artwork is so great and your fanfics just fill me with so much joy! You and your bf are so talented and it really has given me so much motivation and inspiration to keep working on my stuff. OH MY GOSH.. Hold on bro I LOOOOOVE the way you draw Jesse 🤩 The first one put the biggest smile on my face it's so cute!! The second one, however 👀, had me staring an inch away from my phone. This is like eye candy to me. This is... This is PEAK. I LOVE the 80's twist, and to imagine Jesse being a little retro gamer is something I am extremely fond of. It's one of my own personal very self indulgent things I like to hc him as. Also Lukas looking perfect in pink as always. I also love the outfits (especially Jesse's I kinda want to draw him in it) and the framed mountain dew picture cracked me up. xD

MCU: *releases Koinu no Carnival in GOTG 3* "omg Miku is canon in MCU!!" "Vocaloid is canon in MCU!!!!"

I understand that Miku is the most famous Vocaloid among all of them (probably the icon) but mAN- I don't know how should I feel when a song that was made for Classicaloid gets to be called as the Vocaloid song from GOTG3, I mean it's technically is a Vocaloid song since it features vocal synthesizer voices but damn, only 0.01% knew it originates from an anime 😭 I can't really argue with that.

IDK WHETHER I SHOULD BE HAPPY THAT KOINU NO CARNIVAL IS GETTING ATTENTION - I am happy that Ehamic's music is getting more popular and more people know about the music (like oh my god finally some recognition), but also a part of me feels frustrated that it will be remembered as the "Vocaloid song from GOTG3", again. I kind of have mixed feelings for it.

Not to mention that it's not just Miku singing in that song, there are 50 Vocaloids included - I can't believe someone dissected the voices and recognizes them!

Anyways, if you like a slice of life anime of the historical composers that can transform into magical boys/girls (such as Beethoven, Mozart, Chopin, Lizst, Schubert, Tchaikovsky, Badarzewska, etc) + classical music remixes I suggest you to watch Classicaloid 😳 That "slice of life" can be very random and chaotic, but it explains their character along the series. It'll make you "what the fuck is going on" too. They have from comedic, serious, fun to sad moments.

Q = How many episodes and seasons?

It has 2 seasons, 25 episodes each! 50 episodes in total. Each composers are able to wield their powers called Musik and they have unique abilities!

Dwayne read and re-read the card he’d written for you. He gritted his teeth as he played the words over and over again in his head.

The thought of handing you the note made his knees weak. He was a hundreds of years old, dark and mysterious vampire, yet the thought of you could turn him to a puddle instantly.

He let out a deep side and shoved the letter into his pocket as Laddie can running up to him.

“Look Dwayne,” he exclaimed, presenting Dwayne with a sweet picture he’d drawn of the three of you, huddled around the fountain together.

Dwayne’s eyes softened and the corner of his lips turned up into a half-smile. “It’s perfect,” he said, “they’ll love it.”

Laddie beamed, “you think so?” He asked.

“I know so little dude,” Dwayne said as he picked him up, smiling.

Dwayne’s ears perked up as he heard someone shimming down the ladder into the main alcove of the cave. The boys usually flew in, so he knew immediately that if he walked into the main portion of the cave, he’d find you waiting by the fountain.

“Want to go see them?” he asked the little boy in his arms. Laddie flashed him a bright smile, nodding his head vigorously.

Dwayne offered the boy his own smiles before feeling around in his pocket and pulling out the note he’d written you. He sighed, he knew it wasn’t much, but he hoped it would make you smile.

You were a vision as always, leaning against the wall with your hands in your pockets. You stared off absentmindedly but were snapped back into reality as you heard Dwayne clear his throat.

Laddie ran up to you and engulfed you in a tight hug. “Happy Birthday!” He shouted as he handed you the picture he’d drawn.

Your hand flew to your heart as you looked at it, tears in your eyes threatening to fall. “It’s beautiful,” you told him, “thank you so much, I absolutely love it.”

You pictured the place on your fridge where you’d hang the drawing, prominently displayed of course so that all your visitors could behold Laddie’s artwork.

You turned to your other favorite boy with a soft smile, “hi,” you whispered.

“Hi baby,” he greeted you, wrapping an arm around your waist and pulling you in.

Laddie, just a smart as his surrogate father, caught the tone of the night. “I forgot I have to show Paul something really quick,” he told you.

“Really?” You asked, “But I just got here!”

“I know,” he said sadly, “but I promised! I’ll totally be back when I’m done though okay?”

“Okay,” you replied as you kissed his cheek.

He ran off, but not before shooting Dwayne a wink while your back was turned.

Dwayne’s face turned red as he watched the boy scamper down the cave halls.

“What’s wrong?” You asked, placing a hand on Dwayne cheek as he pulled you back into his arms.

He cleared his throat, “um, nothing.” He told you, still red.

You smiled to yourself, “whatever you say baby,” you told him.

You placed a hand on his arm as his face flushed red all over again. You stared into his eyes, content to look at his handsome face all night, until your gaze fell on the envelope in his hand.

“What’s that baby,” you asked him.

He looked away, averting his eyes from your gaze, “it’s a birthday card,” he told you, “for you.”

You gave him your brightest smile as you took the card from his hands. “Thank you Dwayne,” you said as you pecked his lips.

He fiddled with his fingers nervously as he watched you open the envelope and pull out the card. It read..

“Happy birthday my love,

I find myself full of joy and eternally grateful that you were born, not just today but every day. It will always be a mystery to me how a divine being like you could love a monster like me. I will spend the rest of my unlife worshiping you, because I recognize the treasure that you are to me.

You are brilliant, attractive, and overwhelmingly kind. I cannot believe there’s someone that exists in this world with a heart as kind as yours. To me, you are perfect. All of you, utter perfection. I am madly in love with you, every part of you.

I hope you understand how happy you make me. There are not many bright spots in this endless black of eternal life, but know that you are the most radiant of them all.

By the time you’d reached the end of the letter you were in tears. Dwayne’s face was red once again as he looked at you.

“Did you like it,” he asked cautiously.

You held his hands in your as you looked deeply into his eyes, your cheeks stained with tears, “did you mean it?” You countered.

Dwayne breathed out, “every word,” he whispered.

You captured his lips in a passionate kiss. “I love you,” you told him, “with all my heart, with all my soul, with everything,” you assured him.

He smiled at you, “you’re my whole world my love, happy birthday,” he said before pulling you against his chest and kissing you once more.

Hahaha going back and looking at the pictures there are even so many more things I want to say!!! I love the teary eyes in the Forget me not drawing 😭 and the kinda matching cuts on their faces 🥺. And then in the Tobey one looking again there are so many consistent details running throughout the pic, like the one little round blue poster thing that you see more close-up in the next shot is a little Mysterio thing, and tbh I didn’t even notice at first that that “random dude” is Miles himself 🤦🏻‍♀️❤️. Honestly the background perspective is AMAZING. Perspective is definitely difficult but I love the way you drew the buildings from the ground looking up, and all the little details, honestly in my opinion the proportions and things are like, perfect.

Yeah I absolutely loved how you perfectly captured the different personalities and atmospheres!!! There’s so much meaning in a simple drink, way they hold the drink, posture, etc. I haven’t actually watched any Tobey movies (other than nwh) but I could even tell the characterization was perfect in that, and it’s so fun to look at all the little details of each one :). There is so much background research that goes unappreciated in almost any drawing, so I love hearing a tiny bit about it, and I’m so glad you stuck through and finished it!!! And I love that when you couldn’t find a pic you used the video game :D. It’s all such a perfect combination of similar and absolutely unique to their own universes 😊 a fun celebration of the different Spider-Mans :D.

Hey hi I just wanted to say I found your post of the Peters with their Aunt Mays, and screaming. Literal screaming. <3333 I love it so so much. Particularly the Tom Holland one just cause I’ve mostly only watched Marvel :) and him wearing his suit and May just sitting cross legged on the couch I love :))

And then if that wasn’t enough, I scrolled down you blog just a smidge, and found the Toby Peter comic (hilarious and more screams I love) and the Peter and MJ Forget-Me-Not picture (WAIT NO I JUST REALIZED WHAT THAT LITERALLY MEANS AND NOW I’M SOBBING) is so beautiful, anyways thank you for your artwork, if you haven’t heard yet, I am screaming!! ❤️❤️❤️

thank you, i am happy you like it :) i enjoyed figuring out what poses to put all of them in while sitting on their couches. i wanted their poses, their beverages, and their atmosphere to feel unique to them. i looked at many reference photos of each aunt may's home. but for tasm may i couldn't find a good picture of her living room, so i looked at a reference photo from one of the tasm video games 😅 those drawings took me so long to complete.

the tobey peter comic took me a very long time too! i am not used to drawing backgrounds, i'm trying to teach myself how to do them (perspective is so confusing!) so that comic was pretty difficult for me. i'm happy you liked it 💃 and the forget me not drawing was very fun! it was something i had been working on and off since nwh came out. forget me nots are my favorite flower, and i thought about it a lot when watching the ending :(
