LATE AS ALWAYS TO THE PARTY BUT THE LOKI EPISODE HAD MY HISTORY LOVING BRAIN GEEKING

Okay so the episode is called "1893". The episode starts in 1863 I believe where Renslayer and Miss Minutes the psycho clock dropped off the TVA guidebook to Victor. That was actually a really good time to drop off the book because the Second Industrial revolution starts at around 1870. I say he was around 13 or 15 years old in the first scene so he would be in his early 20's when the industrial revolution kicks in. A young inventor who has the knowledge of a whole class of inventions he can create during a time where innovation and new technology was the best way to make a name for yourself is a great way to start his character in my opinion (Also a lot of African American inventors were applying for patents and creating inventions like Madam CJ Walker, George Washington Carter and Lewis Latmer to name some well known ones.)

Basically the time period for the episode was perfect for Victor. Everyone was racing to make the next big thing, make something that was never seen before and Victor had the TVA guidebook and his mind to completely wipe the floor clean with them. But as he said in the episode, he was limited by the technology available at the time.

ALSO a small thing I noticed when watching the episode was that the guy who tried to 'scam' Victor into giving him the patent rights (I think). If you have the captions on, he's called "Robber Baron". No, that's not his name, it's actually a nickname made around the time of the 2nd Industrial Revolution. It referred to business men who gained their wealth from exploiting people/employees and used corrupt business practices. Business men like John Rockefeller, John Jacob Astor, Andrew Carnegie and Leland Stanford were all called this. The name was originally from medieval Europe and was about feudal lords who would tax his people heavily and in some cases rob travelers :D

Kind of a hint to the audience that the guy is a shit bag before he even shows he's a shit bag. The deal he struck with Victor made me and my dad both think of the deal Tesla made with Edison.

Rules and Explanations

“So I suppose first on the to-do list is to explain the rules and such to the audience out there,” Thomas said checking his clipboard. “Lucy? Jackson? Would you like to explain the first rule of this blog? 

“Oh yeah! So after both of me and my brother each double checked with Clockwork twice we decided on this first rule,” Lucy said. “You can ask us about our parents as it relates to our current lives however we are not allowed to give you crucial details about things like how they got married, when they decided to have us, and why they decided to have us. Things like that could affect the timeline too badly to fix,” Jackson explained.

“Our second rule is that this blog is Safe For Work related,” Asriel said. “Now yes Asriel is 18 and technically GIR and I are above the age of 18 but come on guys the youngest of us here are 9 months old. They don’t need to be seeing that stuff yet,” Poof explained. “Master says he will get very angry with me if this blog ruins ZEL, MIZ, and ZAK,” GIR added in.

“Third of all this blog does not accept magic people just coming in and doing whatever they want. That sounds way too much for all of us to handle,” Cam stated.

“Hmmm, that’s all we really need for rules right now. Should we move on to explanations?” Thomas said looking up his list once again. Cameron just nodded in agreement.

“Okay so we created this blog in order for you guys to get to know us,” Steven explained. “And for all of us to get to know you lovely people out there in the multiverses!” Savannah cheered. “And to meet cute girls,” Sebastian nodded. “Even though this seems really similar to the blog our par-” Kai was beginning to say when he noticed Lucy giving him the ‘cut’ sign. “...I-I mean what I meant to say is that this is really similar to the blog the ones before our time had but we wanted to give it a try,” Kai said as he shrugged bashfully and Aurora giggled at her older brother.

“Thomas and I developed several programs to help run this blog with us,” ZEL started to explain as she put MIZ and ZAK in their travel cribs for a nap. “The first is what we call Mod Maxine. She will help us generally post everything to the blog. The second we call Mod Emo and she will be posting any posts with photos to go with them. Finally, for now, at least, we call the third Mod Mayhem who will help double check everything we post as well as the design aspect of this blog.”

Diego placed his arm around Hazel’s shoulders. “Babe no offense but did you and boy genius over there pick random words from a hat when naming these?” He was promptly met with a smack in the back of his head by his sister Aria. “Ow! Why did you do that?!” Diego yelled. “You don’t just question your girlfriend like that!” Aria argued. “B-But he does have a point,” Miguel pointed out. Thomas rolled his eyes. “Anyway moving on… June would you like to introduce the next point?” 

June nodded as she said, “At first the group of us here right now will be the only ones you can ask questions.” “However if we become popular enough we may introduce some of our other friends to you guys,” Eliza added in. “We have a whole B-Team to help us out!” Skyla said chipperly as Will nodded. “Plus all our other friends and people we know!” Cole said as he picked up Sammy. “Heck maybe our villains/rivals will start a rival blog at some point,” Eliza shrugged. “Keyword: maybe,” Thomas added cautiously.

“Okay next point we have is… tags! Jinx would you and your siblings handle this one?” Thomas asked. “Of course my dear boy. Now like most blogs like our blog we will have tags to track our posts. Each of us will have our own so you can look us up individually. Mod Maxine will add in the list of our individual tags down below,” Jinx explained pointing downwards.

“What’s a shipping?” Cam whispered to Thomas. Thomas shrugged. “I don’t know it was Cookie’s idea. Anyway Rapunzel? Princess? Do you wanna explain the next point?” Rapunzel nodded. “So when we get bored we’ll reblog ask memes for you guys to ask us.” “Or when Mod Emo is bored she’ll reblog memes to put us into different photo options like the squad memes and stuff!” Princess said excitedly. “Bella I think it’s your turn to introduce the last point of this blog,” Rapunzel said gesturing to Bella.

“Hmm? Oh right! Just a second,” Bella said as she Picked up Blake bouncing him. “Finally we will be doing special events for holidays and such. Like Halloween, Christmas, Valentine Day, and others. We may even celebrate our birthdays on here.” Blake cooed as Bella smiled at him. 

“That’s about it for all the technical things. We’ll get on with formal introductions and once again enjoy yourselves!” Thomas smiled as Hubble barked chipperly.
