underrated ships are my absolute jam ! like, i don't like the lack of ao3 fics and content in general but the quality man, the quality chef kissy

esteban ocon/daniel ricciardo: they were underrated as a duo . also way too few fics on ao3 for me to feel happy about

callum ilott/oscar piastri: i do start to feel a bit self-indulgenty when it comes to this but look . they went to the same boarding (ish?) school together . they bicker on their ig . they had the same seatless fate after going really well in feeder . let me live

daniel ricciardo/mick schumacher: @oversteerey wrote an insanely good piece about them that i still think about . constantly . after the ranch comments i was kinda hooked

alex albon/liam lawson: the potential . the vibes . the specific energy of them being in dtm 2021 was so weird and funky and the dtm / rb vlogs were so . so charged . people do have the tendency to girl liam up and i agree fully

alex albon/callum ilott: i forgot who wrote the fic but there is one on ao3 about them going to dtm together and i love the shared existential feelings coupled with like ,, quarter life crisis feels

oscar piastri/daniel ricciardo: i wrote a fic about them and it was sooo self indulgent and until now i feel 😳 about it but no regrets ig??

hi, hello everybody! welcome to my formula 1 blog!

first and foremost, i would like to say that this blog is a safe space for EVERYBODY! you are welcome here no matter your race, gender, sexuality, religion, etc. we do not discriminate here. alright? alright.

secondly, as you can assume this blog is all about formula 1. i decided to make this blog bc i posted a lot abt F1 on my footy blog (which you can follow up in the description if you would like). this blog will most likely mainly consist of thirsting over drivers - bc i am a whore :) and i strongly encourage that you all do the same, so i feel less of a whore. thanks <3

1.) when did you become a fan of f1?

i am going to keep it real.. i recently became a fan. like real recently. i would say beginning to mid may 2021. this means i’m still trying to learn everything about the sport so please bare with me

2.) how did you become a fan?

i saw people talking about lewis and lando on tumblr and then my tiktok fyp became full of f1 videos so i decided to look into it and the rest was history

3.) who is your favorite team and driver?

my favorite driver is everybody’s favorite aussie mr. daniel ricciardo

my favorite team is mclaren because lando was the first driver i knew about and became a fan of, danny ric is my favorite driver, the relationship zak and the boys have, and everybody on the team just seems to get along and it seems like a positive environment

4.) favorite driver duo?

this is going to sound basic but either maxiel or carlando, but i lean more towards maxiel bc their chaotic energy is unmatched. also pierre and yuki are so underrated, they’re so wholesome

let's get into it!

lewis: i don't think i need to explain why i chose him, but i will do it regardless. he is the goat, the best looking driver on the grid, and he is kind and polite. he'd be great company and the perfect balance between adhd insanity and calmness. when he talks to you, it's like no one else in the room even exists. also would bring the bad dad jokes. he's cringe, but he's free!

daniel: i chose him for pretty much the same reasons as lewis, bar the goat part. second best looking driver on the grid and used to big italian family dinners. he's definitely leaning more on the adhd insanity side than lewis, but he makes the same bad jokes. he's a little annoying, but the sound of his laughter will brighten up the dullest crowd.

esteban: gets along well with pretty much everyone except pierre. loves lewis and daniel, and balances them both out quite nicely. he definitely brings a bottle of wine and then awkwardly hands it to you. he doesn't even know if the wine is any good, but his mum taught him to never arrive at someone's house with empty hands. he will definitely make sure that everyone is included in the conversations. any dinner table would be lucky to have este.

mick: he would've showed up as este's plus 1 anyways. he still gets an invite though. mick seems just as awkward and sweet as este on the outside, but on the inside, his schumacher genes are waiting for the right moment to make an appearance. he is definitely able to match daniel's energy - but in his own unique way. he'd also ask you lots of questions, because mick would definitely compliment your cooking and be the first one of the guests to offer to help you clean up.

yuki: okay so first of all, he LOVES food. and every dinner party needs a foodie. then he is also funny as fuck, but in an unintentional way. i just know he'd have a blast with the other dinner guests. and i feel like having dinner with this particular group of drivers would be great for him, too. he admires lewis, he can bond over rbr and their fuckery with daniel, he can bond over still being new but no longer being a rookie and all the pressure that comes with that with mick, and i feel like esteban and yuki are an underrated comedic duo.
