Photo from @graciec_93's insta- thank you. Last night I spoke at the Royal Albert Hall with Nicky Gumble about the profound effect the @alphacourseuk has had on my life. I look up to Nicky so much for the way he has challenged and analysed his faith before blindly following, so to share a stage with him was an honour. I'm not sure I said anything of use (in fact I said, 'I'm a rubbish Christian, sometimes I try to quit') but being in that environment was amazing. If ever you have the opportunity to try the Alpha Course, give it a go. It's a free 10 week course (one night a week) where you can listen to what Christianity is and ask questions. Like, really hard blunt questions. There are no airs and graces, you don't have to go to church afterwards (though you're welcome) and you don't have to leave as a Christian. Nobody judges, nobody persuades. For someone like me who hates to be told what to do and is really science based, it was perfect. Also, there were snacks.
