Minho: "I wanted to say yes, but I'm afraid of what will happen next"
Jisung: "What will happen next...will be me going home, making the best dinner I've ever made, kissing him as usual, humiliating myself for a little affection...making him realize that he hurts me. And when he notices, I'll do it all over again, until the remorse runs through his bones, and when it does, I'll file for divorce, and open my heart to the only person who ever really loved me. Sounds good to you? First the body, then the heart"

─── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ───
"hey, baby. I gotta run," minho murmured, taking his briefcase and bending in to give you a quick but heartfelt kiss on the cheek.
“meeting with a new client at 9am. can’t be late.”
you, still sipping your morning tea, glanced up at minho, your eyes still groggy.
“mm-hmm, okay. have a good day, love.”
minho turned to leave, but something about the way, your hair looked messy and your eyes were still puffy from sleep caught his attention. an intense yearning and possessiveness suddenly overcame him.
he put down his briefcase and turned to fix his gaze on your neck.
“hold on, baby,” minho said, his voice low and husky.
“i need a minute.”
you raised an eyebrow, but minho was already closing in.
minho gently grasped your chin, tilting your head to the side and burying his face into the crook of your neck.
your eyes fluttered closed as minho took a deep breath, his alpha senses were on high alert.
“fuck… you smell so good, baby,” minho whispered, his breath sending shivers down your spine.
your hands instinctively went to minho’s hips, pulling him closer.
“you’re gonna be late,” you whispered back, your voice laced with arousment.
“i don’t care,” minho growled, nuzzling deeper into your neck.
he inhaled deeply, taking in the sweet scent of sleep, tea, and honey.
his alpha instincts went into overdrive, and he could feel his cock stirring in his slacks.
you let out a soft moan as minho’s tongue traced the curve of your neck.
“minho… you’re being so extra…”
“i’m just showing my baby some love,” minho replied, his voice muffled against your skin.
he sucked gently on the sensitive skin, making your eyes roll back.
“minho… stop… you’re going to make me-”
your words trailed off as minho’s fingers slipped under the waistband of your pajama bottoms.
“stop?” he repeated, his voice nothing but a soft purr.
“i’m not stopping, baby,” minho whispered.
minho’s desire for you was all-consuming, and he knew exactly what he wanted to do with his beloved mate.
“just one bite, baby, come on.”
“i need to mark you again. make sure you’re carrying my scent all day. make sure everyone knows you’re taken.”
minho’s hands dove deeper, his fingers brushing against your hardened cock.
“see, you’re so responsive. baby. i’ll be quick. i promise.”
the air in the kitchen was quickly filling with the combined aroma of your bond.
─── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ───
with a growl of possessiveness, minho backed you against the kitchen’s island, his gaze never leaving yours.
your submissive nature had caused you to melt under minho’s touch, your body relaxing in surrender. you tilted your head to the side, completely baring you neck for minho.
it was an invitation, a silent plea for minho to carry on.
minho growled in approval, leaning back in and letting his fangs graze the sensitive skin of your neck.
“mine.”
minho smiled, his fangs elongating as his eyes glowed with a primal need.
he bit down on your neck, his fangs breaking the skin as he injected his venom into your bloodstream.
you cried out, your body arching off the kitchen island, as you felt minho’s burning mark into your skin.
minho inhaled deeply. your scent was changing, increasing, and becoming even sweeter. he was reveling in the knowledge that he was the cause.
with another growl of satisfaction, he pulled back, knowing that his marking was complete.
you whimpered at the loss of contact, your neck throbbing where minho had bitten you.
minho’s eyes softened as he leaned in for a gentle kiss.
you melted into the kiss, your arms wrapping around minho’s neck as you deepened the kiss.
minho slipped his tongue inside your mouth, letting your tongues dance together.
he had taken his hands out of your pajamas, and they were now roaming around your body.
the kiss went on until minho pulled back.
you didn't have it in you to break the kiss; in fact, if it went on for hours, you wouldn't have complained.
“fuck, i gotta go,” minho said, adjusting his suit jacket that had become slightly disheveled during your little marking session.
“but tonight, we’re finishing this, baby. i promise.”
you smiled, still a bit dazed as you tried to gain your composure, finally coming off the kitchen’s island.
“you better… you know, this counts as edging.”
minho grabbed his briefcase, but not before giving you another quick peck on the lips.
“have i ever let you down before, baby?”
he smirked, finally heading towards the door, leaving you with his scent and his mark.
"i love you, baby,” he called out.
"love you too.”

Pack Mentality: Chapter One
Chapter Summary: You're working at your dad's hobby shop when you run into Seungmin, a beta with the protective nature of an alpha. He calls in his pack alpha, and they have to use some... unconventional methods to convince your dad to let you leave
Warnings (These are IMPORTANT!!): Verbal, emotional, and physical abuse at the hands of a family member / threats of violence (not acted upon) / prejudice against omegas / reader is treated like an object
Series masterlist
There’s a hole-in-the-wall hobby shop that Seungmin wanted to visit. One of his friends from JYP told him about it, and the shop has figures for a show that he and Jeongin enjoy together. Since they were on a short break, Seungmin utilized the day off to walk down to the shop. It was surprisingly close to the dorms. It was odd that he hadn’t found it sooner.
The hobby shop was longer than it was wide. It was packed with comics, figures, board and video games, and other miscellaneous nerd shit (/pos). A tiny office sat behind the front counter, and you were currently standing by the door. Your dad owned the hobby shop and he had you work there most days. When he called you into the office, you felt your heart drop into your stomach. Nothing good ever happened in that office.
“You know why I called you in here?” Venom hid just below the surface of your dad’s question. There was no right answer here. If you said no, he’d berate you for being so air-headed that you couldn’t recognize your mistake. If you said yes, he’d punish you for ignoring your mistake instead of telling him immediately.
“No, sir.” You decided the verbal lashing would be easier to take than the physical. He scowled at you.
“You fucked up the comic order, you dumb bitch!” You flinched at the sudden increase in his voice. Tears burned at the back of your eyes. “Do you even know what you fucked up?” You shook your head, not trusting your voice. He scoffed and shoved a piece of paper into your hands. You scanned the numbers, scrunching your eyebrows when you couldn’t find a mistake.
“You ordered the wrong volumes of Geiger.”
“I ordered volumes 1 and 2, like the list said.” You were beyond confused. The order list was meticulous, you never messed up an order.
“You ordered Geiger 1 and 2. You were supposed to order Geiger: Ground Zero 1 and 2.” His tone was turning impatient, dangerous. “We already have the ones you ordered!” He snatched the order summary from your hands.
“I’m- I’m sorry, the order list only said Geiger. It didn’t specify Ground Zero.”
“So you’re trying to blame your fuck up on me?” He slammed the paper into his desk. It took every ounce of willpower you had to keep yourself from hiding behind the door frame. “I shouldn’t have to specify that it’s Ground Zero. If you had used your fucking brain you would have figured out that we already have 1 and 2 of the original series. The obvious fucking answer would be to order the other first and second volumes in the series!”
“I’m sorry, it won’t happen again.” Your voice was shakier than you wanted it to be. Weakness only makes it worse.
“Yea, sure it won’t,” he scoffed. “I should have never trusted an omega to handle such an important task.” Traitorous tears escaped as your breathing increased. “God, go calm yourself down. Your sad omega stink is gonna drive away customers.”
“Yes, sir.” You turned to leave the stifling walls of the office. A rough hand gripped your bicep, pulling you back into the room.
“Do not let any customers see or smell you, understand?” He squeezed your arm harder. There were definitely going to be finger-shaped bruises there later. “Understand?” You nodded rapidly. He released your arm with a shove and you immediately rushed to the gaming room at the back of the store.
Seungmin stood among the shelves lining one side of the shop, unaware of the conversation going on in the office. He was browsing through the many figurines when you hurried past him with your head down. The overwhelming smell of utter fear hit Seungmin like a brick. His head snapped up but you were already disappearing into the gaming room.
Normally, Seungmin and his beta had a very understanding relationship. The beta stayed relatively quiet, really only piping up during important matters. He had never heard his beta shouting at him like it was at this moment.
Omega! Packmate! She’s crying, why is she crying? Who hurt her?! The beta’s voice bounced around his skull. Seungmin’s eyes widened when the beta’s words were fully processed in his mind. He quickly unlocked his phone, clicking on Chan’s contact. He needed to know, he needed to be here. Seungmin was worried he wouldn’t be able to calm you down on his own.
“Seungmin? Is everything alright?” Chan answered after two rings. An actual phone call from the beta usually didn’t bode well.
“I have good news and bad news. The good news: I found our last packmate.”
“What?! That’s amazing! What’s their name? What’s their presentation? What-”
“Chan. I haven’t spoken with her yet. I didn’t even get a look at her face. She rushed past me in tears and all I could smell on her was fear,” Seungmin interrupted Chan’s excited questions. He felt a little bad for cutting off his pack alpha, but this was urgent.
“She’s what? Why is she crying?”
“I don’t know, but I intend to find out. You need to get down here while I go talk to her. She was practically hyperventilating and I’m worried about her passing out.” Seungmin hung up after receiving an affirmative from Chan. He shared his location before moving to the back of the store.
The gaming room was just another small office outfitted with a TV, bean bag chairs, and a small table for RPGs. You huddled under the table, clutching your mom’s hoodie to your chest in a pathetic attempt to nest. A soft knock forced you out of your thoughts. Before you could answer, the door opened and a young man with short, dark hair peeped in.
“Oh, did you want to use the room? I’ll leave.” You really, really didn’t want to go back out to the shop, but you couldn’t let a customer see you in your distressed state.
“No, no, you don’t have to move if you don’t want to. I actually came in here to see if you were okay?” His forehead was creased in concern.
“Yeah, I’m fine.”
“Not to be rude, but I can tell you’re lying. You’ve been crying.” He moved into the room to crouch in front of the table. “Can I sit?” At your nod, he sat criss-cross in front of your cowering form. You had your back pressed into the wall, in a fetal position. It honestly broke his heart.
“I’m sorry, you’re a customer. You shouldn’t have to worry about me,” you whimpered. You hated how your voice cracked. You hated that you were worrying this boy with your problems.
“Customer or not, I don’t ignore people when they’re this upset.” His kind eyes and words warmed your heart. “I’m Seungmin, what’s your name?”
“Y/N.”
“You’re still breathing really heavily. Do you want me to walk you through some breathing exercises?” You hesitated for a second, eyes flicking to the now open door. Seungmin hummed and quickly shut the door, then returned to his place in front of you. “Ready?” You nodded. Seungmin patiently helped you calm your breathing.
“Why are you being so nice to me?” You asked, now a bit calmer. Your scent was still tinged with fear, but its usual sweetness was slowly returning. The lavender and peppermint made Seungmin dizzy, it was so intoxicating. He kept his composure for your sake. He didn’t want to scare you more, but the truth would be better in the long run.
“I don’t want to freak you out, but I think you’re the missing member of my pack.” Your eyes widened and you kept the bottom half of your face hidden behind the hoodie. “You probably can’t tell since you’re congested.”
“Can you hand me the tissues from the bookshelf behind you? I want to confirm for myself before I get too excited.” Seungmin nodded and reached up to grab the box. His shirt lifted with his arm, showing a sliver of skin. Your eyes were glued to it. He set the tissues in front of you so you could blow your nose. Several tissues and a lot of sniffling later, your sense of smell returned. The scent of cedarwood and lemon surrounded you. It was calming, and you knew in your gut that Seungmin was telling the truth.
“Finally caught my scent, huh?” Seungmin teased when your nostrils flared. He could finally see your whole face. Him and his beta had the same thought: cute. A light pink dusted your cheeks.
“I did call my pack alpha before I came in here. I asked him to meet me here. Do you want to wait to explain what happened? So you don’t have to say it all twice.” You nodded again. You were nervous about being near a strange alpha, but if Seungmin trusted him, you did too.
“Can… Can I hold your hand?” You asked timidly. Seungmin smiled and scooted closer to lace his fingers with yours. He leaned against the leg of the table so you could stay under it. The two of you sat in a comfortable silence until his phone rang.
“Hey, you here? Yeah. Yeah I’m still with her. Back of the store, there’s a door on the left side of a short hallway. Okay, see you in a second.” You listened to one side of the conversation, getting the gist of it. Seungmin’s pack alpha was here, and he was headed to the room you were hiding in. The door opened and another dark haired man stepped in before shutting it behind him. Seungmin gestured to you. The new person probably couldn’t see you under the table. He crouched down and his heart absolutely shattered.
“Oh, sweetheart,” he cooed when he saw your hunched figure and tear stained face. He sat next to Seungmin.
“Chan, this is Y/N.” Seungmin ran his thumb across your knuckles to reassure you that you were safe. The alpha smelled of mahogany and amber. Normally, any alpha’s scent puts you on edge, but his was strangely relaxing. There was something slightly different about his scent that you couldn’t put your finger on. It was like Seungmin’s with something extra added in.
“Hi, Y/N. It’s nice to meet you. Although I wish it was under better circumstances.” He kept his voice low, as if he was afraid to break the heavy silence. “Can you tell me what happened?” You inhaled sharply and squeezed Seungmin’s hand.
“Take your time, we know you’re nervous,” Seungmin gently reassured you.
“You don’t have to, but do you want a hug?” Chan tilted his head and opened up his arms. You thought about it for a second, but you couldn’t resist his scent. You crawled over to the alpha, allowing him to pull you to his chest. You sat between his outstretched legs, your own laid on Seungmin’s lap. The room once again fell to silence so you could gather your thoughts. Gentle hands traced patterns along your back and legs.
“I’m sorry,” you mumbled after a minute of listening to Chan’s breathing and heartbeat. You kept your eyes fixed on your fingers. You picked at the skin around your nails.
“What are you apologizing for, love?” You tucked your chin closer to your chest, almost afraid to answer the alpha’s question. You couldn’t help it. All the alphas you’ve ever encountered got angry when you answered wrong in their eyes.
“Cus your last packmate is a useless omega. I’m sorry that you’ll have to put up with me.” Both boys’ eyes widened at your words.
“You’re not useless, Y/N. Who said that to you?” You refused to meet Seungmin’s gaze.
“Please tell us what’s going on,” Chan added. You picked at your skin harder. How were you supposed to burden them with your issues? Chan used one hand to stop your anxious habit. The other cupped your cheek, pulling you so you faced him. Your eyes stayed locked on his hoodie strings. “Look at me, please, Y/N. I want to help you.”
“I can’t. I shouldn’t push my problems onto other people.”
“Omega, look at me.” He didn’t like pulling the subgender card, but it was the only thing he could think of to get through to you. You reluctantly made eye contact, fresh tears gathering on your lash line. Chan’s thumb brushed over your cheekbone, breaking down the last of your resolve.
“My dad.”
“Your dad did this to you? Has he done this before?” Seungmin asked. You nodded weakly. Chan tensed, taking a deep breath to keep his composure.
“What kind of things has your dad said to you?”
“You’re a worthless excuse for a daughter. If I’d known you’d turn out to be an omega, I never would’ve agreed to have you. No alpha with any self respect would want to claim you. You’ll be lucky if you can get a beta.” You rattled off as many of the insults your dad has said to you as you could remember. Chan felt his blood boiling with every word. He looked to Seungmin, but the younger beta was seething.
“When did this start?” Chan asked through gritted teeth. You sat up so your head was no longer on his chest and shrugged.
“Since I presented as an omega. So eight years? I think he wanted me to be an alpha like him,” you sighed. Your life would have been so much easier if you had been an alpha. The shoulder of your cardigan fell, exposing your upper arm. From his angle, Chan couldn’t see what Seungmin could. He zeroed in on the fresh bruises, distinctly shaped like fingers.
“Are those bruises? Has your dad fucking hit you?” You flinched at Seungmin’s harsh tone. “I’m not angry with you, I promise. I’m angry that your own father could be so cruel to you.”
“Have you tried to move out? Obviously this isn’t your fault, but maybe if you could get some distance…” Chan trailed off. You shook your head.
“I can’t. He doesn’t pay me to work here, I don’t have any money. He- He said he’d hurt my mom if I tried to leave.”
“Does your mom know about this?” Chan rubbed soothing circles over your wrist’s scent gland.
“No. My dad is smart. He doesn’t leave marks on the visible parts of my body. If I try to leave, or try to tell mom, he said he’d kill her and sell me to an omega ring.” You admitted quietly.
“What about the police?”
“Dad has friends on the force. They’d dismiss my report without even looking at it.” You sounded so defeated. It made the boys’ hearts drop.
“Jesus fuck,” Seungmin scoffed in disbelief. “Chan, how are we going to get her to the dorms? We can’t just leave her here.”
“I know, I know. Let me think for a second.” Chan pinched the bridge of his nose and sighed. Anxiety creeped into your gut the longer he stayed quiet.
“You don’t have to do anything. I can handle-”
“Absolutely not. We, I, can’t leave you here with an abusive asshole.” Seungmin left no room for arguments.
“Right, I have an idea but I hate it,” Chan announced. “You said he was willing to sell you?” He cringed before meeting your gaze. You gaped at the suggestion.
“N-no, I could never ask you to waste your money on me. I don’t even know how much he’d ask for,” you protested.
“First, it wouldn’t be a waste of my money. It would be a small price to pay to get my omega out of an abusive household.” You perked up slightly when he called you his omega so casually. “Second, the amount doesn’t matter. Our pack all have a very well-paying job.”
“I need to make sure he won’t turn on mom,” you noted. Chan nodded and pulled you both to stand.
“Stay with Seungmin and let me do the talking. I'll have to sound like a douchey alpha to pull this off,” he instructed. You clung to Seungmin’s arm, steeling yourself for the confrontation. Chan led the two of you to the front of the store.
“Hey guys, you find everything alright?” Your dad had a polite smile, but you saw the malice hiding in his eyes. “I hope my daughter didn’t bother you too much.”
“I’d actually like to talk to you about her,” Chan stated. He leaned against the counter with his hands in his pockets. Your dad gestured for him to continue. “How much?”
“Excuse me?”
“How much do you want for her? I could use another omega in my pack. Half of us are alphas and there’s only so much the betas can do to help.” Chan sounded shockingly similar to a frat boy. If you hadn’t just spent the last 15 minutes being comforted by him, you’d be pissed.
Your dad scoffed. “Are you asking to buy my daughter?”
“Obviously.”
“$500,000.” You squeaked and tried to protest, but Seungmin’s hand squeezing your own stopped you in your tracks. “In cash.”
“Done. Give me ten minutes to hit the bank. I’m leaving my beta here to watch her.” Chan sauntered out the door before your dad could say anything else.
“Well, would you look at that? You’re finally useful to me,” your dad sneered. You shrunk into yourself. Seungmin’s jaw twitched as he held his tongue.
“What are you gonna tell mom?” You couldn’t leave if he wanted to hurt her. Your dad put a finger to his chin in mock deliberation. Without answering you, he pulled out his phone and started a call.
“Hi, honey! Is everything alright? You don’t normally call during the work day,” your mom’s voice echoed through the speaker. Your dad smirked at your expression twisting in anxiety.
“I’ve actually got great news. Y/N has finally decided that she’s ready to move out of the house!” He gloated. “She said she met a friend at school. She wants to move in with her.”
“Oh! That’s a surprise for sure. Sweetheart? Who’s this friend? You know you’re more than welcome to stay home until you’re done with school.”
“Hey mom. My friend’s name is Ji-ah, and I am 100% certain that I want to move in with her,” you easily followed the lie.
“Okay, but please make sure you call and visit! I’m going to have a tough time going back to just me and dad,” your mom quickly requested.
“I will. I love you.”
“I love you, too.”
“Alright, I’ll see you later, hun.” Your dad abruptly ended the call. “See? Easy. And now I’ll be able to take Min-Ji on the honeymoon we never got because of you.” An awkward, heavy silence filled the store. It was interrupted by the bell over the door, revealing Chan with a thick bank envelope.
“Here.” He shoved the envelope into your dad’s chest. “I’ll be taking her now.” Your dad hummed, distracted by flicking through the hundred dollar bills. Chan rolled his eyes and led you and Seungmin onto the sidewalk. Chan hung a few feet behind you and Seungmin as the beta pulled you along to their dorm. He quickly unlocked his phone to call Minho, his second in command.
“Chan? Where did you go? Jisung said you left the studio in a rush.” Minho answered immediately.
“Sorry, I didn’t mean to worry him, but Seungmin needed me. He found our missing packmate and he needed help calming her down,” Chan explained. “Minho, her dad was abusive. She has bruises and she’s incredibly hard on herself.”
“Christ, you got her out though?”
“Yea, but I had to fucking buy her from her shitty excuse of a father,” Chan scoffed at the ridiculous notion. He heard a deep breath on Minho’s end.
“What do you need me to do?” Minho’s voice was calm, but Chan could tell that he was holding back his rage.
“Get everyone into their own rooms except for Felix. He’s going to be the first one to meet her. Having another omega close will keep her from panicking.” Chan instructed the younger alpha. “I’ll bring everyone in slowly, so she can adjust and get used to our scents.”
“Alright. I’ll make sure everyone knows what she’s been through. I know I’ll need a few minutes to compose myself, I’m sure I won’t be the only one.”
“Good, thank you, Minho. We’ll be back in like 15 minutes,” Chan said a quick goodbye before hanging up. He sped up so he was walking right behind you and Seungmin. The rest of the walk went by in an anxious silence.

Going Dumb~ Chapter 7
ᯓᡣ𐭩Pairing; Kim Seungmin x Fem!reader, Stray kids x Fem!reader
ᯓᡣ𐭩 ᯓᡣ𐭩Summary; It had been over a decade since you had last seen each other, having met in choir when Seungmin was living with his grandparents in LA and you with your Aunt. Now that you are both presented adults, how will he handle a change to the reality of you he had made in his mind in your absence over the years?
ᯓᡣ𐭩 ᯓᡣ𐭩 ᯓᡣ𐭩 Notes; This is an ABO!AU. in this world when someone reaches puberty they will present with one of three sub genders; alpha, beta, or omega. Due to Alphas and Omegas experiencing rut and heat, some jobs are restrictive as to what sub genders they will hire, specifically singling out omegas as heat suppressants are harder to obtain than rut suppressants. Scent glands are located near the pressure points on the neck and small hormonal patches called scent blockers can be placed over them to reduce or rid an individual of their scent for a period of time depending on the strength of the hormones in the patch.
ᯓᡣ𐭩 ᯓᡣ𐭩 ᯓᡣ𐭩ᯓᡣ𐭩Warnings; abo!au, beta!kim seungmin, almost all alpha!straykids, female!reader, poly!pack dynamics, angst, mild violence, mentions of sexual harassment/assault and discrimination, smut, enemies to lovers, Kim seungmin is kind of an ass I’m so sorry dandy boy, she/her pronouns used for reader, jealous seungmin, I have only ever wrote one abo story before but it is one of my favorite genres so I hope I can do this justice~
You were correct about your life becoming more chaotic, that was for sure.
In the short month since you had become stray kids assistant you had been going nonstop. Sometimes you would be with them all together, sometimes only one or a few members as they went to solo schedules. You had been with them to interviews, variety shows, behind the scenes when they filmed skz codes and even in some of their skz talker videos briefly.
Typically editors would blur out the staffs faces but the kids had insisted they leave you in as you were already formally introduced and as long as you didn’t mind they thought it was okay with the mostly positive feedback from fans even going as far as to ask to see more of you in the stray kids content as they had come to enjoy seeing how the members interacted with you even though it was usually for only a short moment.
It took some getting used to but over all it was very exciting and you couldn’t help but enjoy it even though you were still a bit shy around the camera.
Whenever they would tease you playfully you’d tease back, bantering with the members lightly and stay were eating it up and enjoying the dynamic between the nine of you.
It helped that you had begun sharing more of the boys, with their permission of course, on your own personal instagram stories that stays had found and were appreciative of getting more content of the group they loved so much.
Now, it was Christmas Day and you were with them at Gayo Daejeon watching them perform from back stage as you were on standby with other staff for when they finished their performance. You stood against the wall just out of view of the audience but able to watch from afar as the kids performed, absolutely mesmerized by their stage presence. Somewhere towards the end of their second song your face fell as you heard the audio begin to play for another groups song overtop of their own.
The boys looked a mix of furious and confused but it seemed to only fuel them harder as the next song had such an intense energy you didn’t notice a presence next to you that seemed to demand your attention. Your eyes were locked on your boys, as you had affectionately come to know them, until you heard the person beside you clear their throat making you jump as they startled you.
Turning to address whoever it was staring you down so intensely at your side you were met with an individual you had seen interacting countless times with the boys backstage at events earlier in the month. “Oh! Uh, Hi- can I help you?”
The alpha smirked, leaning against the wall beside you. “Maybe- you’re stray kids assistant, yeah? I’ve seen you around them a lot lately.” The tall man gives you a look up and down that causes a light pink to dust your cheeks as you feel yourself fluster easily under his gaze. “That I am. you can call me-“
“Bunny!” You flinch a bit at the loud sound, and suddenly you feel arms wrap around you from behind.
Minho rested his chin on your shoulder, looking at the taller alpha with a smirk as the other looked a bit thrown off and awkwardly rubbed at the back of his neck as he moved to stand up straight once again as opposed to the relaxed demeanor he held leaning against the wall. “Leeknow hyung, hi! You guys performance was incredible as always.”
The alpha currently draping himself over you put on a friendly smile and nodded to the other. “Thank you, Yunho. It’s nice to see you again. I see you were getting acquainted with our bunny here.” The taller alpha, Yunho, nodded bashfully as his face heated up. “Yeah I wanted to come and introduce myself on behalf of the rest of Ateez. I’m sure we’ll see more of each other around so it seemed polite to say hi-“
Something told you there was more to his motives for coming to speak with you but his soft puppy like demeanor now caused you to take his word and offer out your hand to him with a bright smile. “Thank you, it’s nice to meet you.” You could feel the arms around you tense slightly as you shook Yunho’s hand, the other blushing even deeper. “Pleasure is all mine, really. Well- I should get going but it was nice to see you again hyung, and nice to meet you Bunny.” And with that he left to rejoin his group where you could see several members teasing him for the interaction they had evidently been watching from afar.
A soft growl rumbling behind you caught your attention and caused you to swat at the alphas hands lightly. “Quit that, he’s your friend. Why are you acting like that?” As he pulled away and saw the frown of disappointment on your face Minho whined, the other members coming up now from where they finished getting their mic packs off and Chan gave the second eldest a look that showed he wasn’t too pleased either. “You shouldn’t have run off like that, Minho. Staff was trying to get your pack off and you completely ignored them. Go back over there so they can help get it off properly.”
At the light scolding from their leader, the alpha whined even more and left with a huff. You sighed, shaking your head as Han followed off after the older alpha and Seungmin came up to your side. “What was all that about…” You huffed, looking to the others with confusion. “I thought you guys were friends with them, why did Min look like he wanted to bite that guys head off?”
The beta scoffed, rolling his eyes as he took the bottle of water you held out to him. “You seriously are so oblivious right? Yunho hyung is clearly interested in you.” Your hands froze where they were now passing a bottle of water to Hyunjin and you most likely would have dropped it if it wasn’t for the alpha grabbing it first. “What?”
Hyunjin laughed, shaking his freshly dyed garnet red hair out of his eyes as he opened his bottle and took a sip. “Oh bunny, you can’t be that oblivious. He was totally eye fucking you.” You looked back over to where ateez were standing and felt your cheeks heat up as you saw the alpha was in fact still watching you from across the room. “Oh- yeah I guess I really didn’t notice…”
That statement caused the beta beside you to relax and take a swig from his water. He looked over his shoulder at where the other puppy idol still watched over you with a longing that set him a bit on edge. Instinctively he wrapped an arm around your waist causing you to look up at him with a soft smile.
The two of you had grown closer, so much so that now those feelings of friendship you had when you were younger didn’t feel so much like a scam. There were many times since becoming their assistant and moving into the dorm full time with the pack that the beta would seek you out for company. You would sit in his or Felix room with them while they gamed, laying on the bed scrolling on your phone as you listened to their loud banter or shouts of victory.
Sometimes if he came back from a particularly difficult lesson or long schedule and was in search of comfort he would lay with his head in your lap on the couch and let you card your fingers through his hair gently as the tv volume was set low as to not cause further damage to his aching head and you would pump out more of your scent to soothe him until he fell asleep like that until someone called for dinner or you gently shook him awake and lead him to his room so he could return to his slumber.
A soft blush covered his cheeks and he looked away though his arm around your waist tightened. You giggled lightly at his shyness and poked his side before handing the last water bottles to Minho and Han as they finally rejoined the group. He took in the sight of the two of you before a teasing smile crossed his features and he gave you a wink along with whispers of thanks for the water.
You nodded, fiddling with the straps of the harnesses Seungmin wore before being lead by the beta towards their area backstage so they could rest before going back out for the rest of the show.
Seungmin managed to get you sat beside him on one of the chairs there, he leaned his head on your shoulder and brought your hand up to place them on his head. You laughed a bit and shook your head, moving your hands and giving his knee a gentle pat. “Sorry Minnie, no pets right now.” You teased, watching a pout form on his lips. “Later- yeah? Can’t mess your hair up when you still have to go back out there.”
Relenting, the beta nodded in understanding yet he kept leaning against you while everyone else relaxed or left to mingle with other idols in the halls.
The rest of the evening went by without issue, though you could still feel Yunho’s gaze on you anytime you happened to cross paths with the other pack. It seemed to keep the boys on edge as not only Minho and Seungmin began clinging to you without a care who was around to see or what cameras were there to pic up their behavior.
At one point you swore you saw Chan off to the side talking with the leader of Ateez Hongjoong, just before he approached the tall dancer and hit the back of his head lightly before scolding him under his breath. The alpha leaders seemed to have a lot in common and it made you giggle lightly as Chan rejoined you at your side and followed where you we’re looking to his fellow leader now getting onto another member, Wooyoung, for teasing Yunho for being scolded by their pack alpha.
You gave the oldest a look, eyebrow raised before he shook his head dismissing any unanswered questions. “Let’s get ready to go home, yeah? It’s been a long day and we still have more schedules coming up.” You nodded in agreement, helping him gather the rest of the pack along with everyone’s belongings and into the cars to take everyone back to the dorms.
The next month was no different than that previous. You were always by their side to help with whatever they needed even if it was something simple like grabbing them a snack during long photoshoots or taking pictures of them before or after a performance for them to post to Instagram or bubble later on.
As January turned to February and they were set to travel once more for a few set schedules, you were all thrown off when the day before you were set to depart Jisung woke up with body aches and cold symptoms starting to show.
“Hannie please try and eat something, yeah? I know you don’t have much appetite right now but it’ll get your energy up.” You tried to reason with the alpha, sitting beside him on the floor in front of the tv. There was a bowl of broth sitting on the coffee table in front of him and one of his favorite dramas on the screen while you held the spoon up in an attempt to get him to eat something so you could give him the medicine prescribed by his doctor earlier that morning when you and Chan had brought him for a check up.
The alpha whined but eventually gave in, eating about half of the bowl before the leader came in to pull you away for a small meeting. You made Han promise to finish the bowl and drink some of his water bottle before you returned to give him his medicine since the instructions said to take on a full stomach.
Sat in Chan’s room you felt a sense of deja vu to the time months ago when you were first asked to be their assistant. “I want you to stay here with Han and make sure he’s taken care of while we go ahead with the schedules.” Chan spoke softly, but his tone was stern. You nodded your head, knowing he and the others wouldn’t be leaving without the two of you if it wasn’t necessary, especially not without Jisung.
“Yeah- I don’t trust him to take his medicine on his own if I’m honest.” You said lightheartedly as you looked behind you at the door as if you could see through it and into the living room where the sick alpha still sat waiting for you to return.
Bangchan nodded with a smile, pulling you in for a hug once you stood from your spot on his bed. “Thank you. I honestly don’t know what we would do without you at this point- you…you’re one of us now.” The words caused your chest to tighten but you didn’t allow yourself to think too deeply into his statement as you nodded and hid your face in his strong chest. “I should be thanking you for helping me so much…with everything.”
Dismissing your thanks he gave the top of your head a quick kiss before shooing you out of the room. “I’m gonna go wrangle up the kids and get them out of here before anyone can catch what Hanji has- we’ll stay in a hotel tonight before flying out tomorrow.”
Laughing, you made your way to leave before he stopped you once more. “Oh and you two will be alone for a while…we all have some free time after our schedules so I’m gonna be going home to see my family and I think everyone else has plans as well.” You nodded in understanding, giving him a reassuring smile. “I’ll hold down the fort and make sure Han gets better, you can count on me.”
Upon hearing the news of Jisung’s illness as well as both of your absence from the upcoming trip the rest of the members were in different levels of sulking though undoubtedly the most distressed by the lack of your presence was Seungmin and Minho as they worried about not only their members health but how that could affect you while taking care of him.
Oh how right they were to worry.
It had been a little over two weeks when the three youngest members returned to the dorm, pushing the door open and all scrambling in with suitcases in hand. “Hannie!! Bunny!!! We’re hooommmee~~” Felix called out with a giggle as he set his bags down and began searching around for the pair.
Over the course of the last week no one had been able to get a hold of either you or Jisung and it had worried Bangchan enough to ask that whoever arrived home first give him an update, hoping that you hadn’t caught whatever bug it was that Han had.
As Seungmin entered the dorm he couldn’t tell what it was at first but something felt off. The beta began taking off his coat and as he went to hang it up it hit him, looking at where their youngest alpha’s eyes were starting to dilate rapidly while he sniffed at the air. At Jeongin’s reaction the beta also began sniffing at the air, his eyes widening at the intense aroma of freshly ground coffee and candied orange peels filled his senses. “Felix, Jeongin- we have to go.”
The alphas both let out a low growl but Seungmin didn’t seem to care as he began shoving the both of them out the front door while pulling out his phone to make a frantic call to their leader. He almost lost his balance when a loud moan that sounded eerily like you cane from the direction of Jisung’s room and caused the two alphas to almost trample over him to get to the sound.
“Seung? Hello?” Chan’s voice over the phone seemed to snap the two alphas out of whatever spell they seemed to be under if only for a second and Seungmin was quick to push them out into the hall in front of their dorm and slam the door shut before locking the three of them out. “Yeah, Hyung- we have a problem…like- a big problem.” He ignored the pang in his chest as what was happening deep within the form settled into his mind causing an ugly green monster called jealousy to begin crawling its way out from deep inside him.
“A problem how?” The alpha on the other end sounded calm but the three youngest members could tell he was concerned. It was Felix who spoke up as Seungmin continued to push them away from the front door and down to the garage so they could be as far from the scent and sounds coming from the two of you as possible. “Bunny’s in heat.”
It was a few hours later and everyone was gathered at the company in their practice room, some members sat on the couch or on the floor with their backs pressed up against it while listening to Seungmin explain what had happened when they returned home.
Chan started to beat himself up mentally, if only he had been there or had called to check up more while they were all away maybe he would have caught it before and they could have separated you and Jisung before any of this had happened. Minho also seemed to be taking things hard, sitting silently as he rapidly sent text message after text message to both of you in hopes that the younger pack mates were wrong and misunderstood something.
Still, neither you nor Han answered any texts or calls from any of the pack members.
Seungmin was beside himself, choosing to sit with distance between him and the others after he was done explaining what had happened. He felt nauseous, unable to forget the combined smell of the two of you or the sounds of pleasure that rang throughout the dorm as they left. He was also unable to forget how they made his chest clench and his stomach drop, how every fiber of his being screamed for him to barge in and take you for himself and he hated that.
He wasn’t sure where those thoughts or feelings were coming from and it made him sick, hugging his knees to his chest as he curled in on him and shook his head to try and rid himself of the imaginary plaguing him.
Chan’s eyes were on him, silently asking if he was okay and when the younger caught his gaze he shook his head dismissively and gave a weak smile.
The leader sighed, running a hand through his hair as he began pacing. “Okay- so none of us can go back to the dorm for now. It’s unfortunate and I wish we could go in and get Han out as well but it’s probably too late now based on what the maknaes witnessed.” Felix and Jeongin let out whines of embarrassment, not wanting their feral states to be mentioned again.
Just as everyone was trying to come up with a game plan as to what to do with the situation at hand Minho’s phone began ringing and everyone’s attention was suddenly on the buzzing device in the second oldest’s hands. His eyes widened when he recognized Han’s contact name on the screen and frantically he answered, almost dropping the device in his haste. “Han-ah oh thank god we have been worried sick- the maknaes got home early and they said it smelled like an omega in heat and-“ the older alpha was cut off by the younger’s embarrassed chuckles. “Yeah Hyung- about that…”
Silence fell over the room as everyone stared at the phone now placed on speaker. Minho took a deep breath before answering again. “What about that, Han Jisung?” He all but growled, suddenly feeling a sense of protectiveness wash over him. “What happened?”
Suddenly your voice came over the phone, a little hoarse and laced with exhaustion but still loud enough for everyone to hear. “It should be safe for you to come back….pretty sure it’s over now.” There was small traces of embarrassment in your tone but Seungmin shot up at the sound of your voice. “Bunny are you okay?” He called out to you a little panicked before he could think to calm down before he spoke.
You giggled a little at how frantic he sounded, mind still a bit clouded and not fully understanding the weight of the situation in that moment, or not having the energy to be able to care whichever it was. “We’ll um…we’ll explain when everyone is here, yeah? Gotta clean up now if you guys are coming back-“
Everyone just stared at the phone at that before Chan cleared his throat and spoke up. “We will be back in thirty minutes with food, and you have a lot of explaining to do. Open the windows too, will you? Last thing we need is to all walk into a dorm hotboxed with omega heat pheromones.”
Both you and Han spoke words of understanding and quickly hung up to get started cleaning up each other and the dorm for everyone’s arrival back.
Just as Chan had said they arrived back at the dorm about a half hour later with take out in hand to see the two of you sat on the couch so close that your thighs were touching. Han was dressed in a pair of sweats and a loose fitting tshirt while you were wearing a pair of shorts and one of the alpha’s large hoodies, both of your hair was slightly damp showing that you had both showered and there was a slight chill in the air from where the both of you had opened all the windows in an attempt to air out your combined scent from the apartment to not set one of the other alphas off.
The food was sat on the coffee table and the leader gave everyone a look to stave off any questions until after everyone had eaten but especially the two of you. Knowing how heats could be and how none of you were expecting it there was no telling when the last time you had a full meal was in the two weeks they were gone.
It wasn’t until the food was finished and left over put away that Chan set the two of you with a look that told you it was time to spill the details of what exactly happened while the pack was away. “Okay, so you’re mad-“ Han spoke anxiously and you instinctively intertwined your fingers with his and pushed out your scent to calm him down.
“It wasn’t Han’s fault, Chan. Please just hear me out first.” The alpha leader raised an eyebrow at you curiously. “Okay, go on then.” He motioned for you to continue and you took a deep breath. “It started almost a week into you guys all being gone-“
It was late, and you were snuggled up on the couch with the alpha watching whatever drama he was currently invested in as you played with his new fluffy curls absentmindedly. His fever seemed to have broken the day prior and besides a mild stuffy nose his symptoms had disappeared over night.
Still a bit lethargic, you agreed to yet another cuddle session as the two of you had become accustomed to over the course of his cold. It was something you used as a reward to get the alpha to keep up with taking his medicine, and you’re sure it was what helped him recover so quickly.
The smell of fresh coffee grounds had long since seeped into your skin as did the scent of orange blossoms into his own, and as he drifted in and out of sleep laying against your chest on the couch he found himself nuzzling against your body with a little groan as there was still a slight ache in his bones. “Hanji? Feeling okay?” You spoke softly, still carding your fingers through soft brown curls.
Han nodded shortly, wiggling a bit to get more comfortable against you and you let out a laugh. “Careful there you almost elbowed me in the ribcage, Ji.” He looked up with wide, apologetic eyes and you simply gave a kiss to the top of his head as an acceptance of his silent apology.
The days spent alone with him were mostly blissful, besides the few times you had to fight him to eat so he could take his medicine, or struggling to get him into the shower when his fever was too strong and you needed to cool him down under the icy spray clad in nothing but his boxers.
You had grown closer to the alpha and had a way of understanding each other that you didn’t have with the others, even Seungmin or Minho. The timer on your phone went off, signaling it time for his next round of medicine. “Come on, Hanji time to let me up.”
With a pout, he reluctantly moved to let you up. The alpha watched as you got up and made your way to the kitchen to get his medicine and a snack to take it with. Opting to make him some toast with nutella, one of the only things you had been able to get him to stomach, you placed two sliced of bread into the toaster and reached up into the cabinet for the chocolate spread.
As you reached up your back arched slightly and the sight caused something to stir in the alpha, mouth watering slightly and head beginning to cloud over. “Bun-“ he said softly, barely audible so you couldn’t hear him over the soft sounds of the tv and the toaster popping up. You continued on, making his snack before you began pouring the medicine into the little cup provided.
You hadn’t been paying attention, not realizing that the alpha had gotten up and crossed the room, arms caging you in against the counter. You felt his presence and slowly turned around to face him, toast and medicine forgotten on the counter behind you. “Hannie?” His pupils were blown, normally soft brown eyes almost black as he stared down at you with a low growl rumbling in his chest. “You smell so sweet…” he said, leaning down to nose at your scent gland causing you to gasp. “Han Jisung- are you…oh god you’re in-“
With both hands placed flat against his chest you pushed him back, taking him by surprise and causing him to stumble back and come to his senses slightly. “Fuck, I’m sorry Bunny- I need to go.” He stuttered out, moving frantically to his room and slamming the door behind him.
You were left standing in the kitchen, blinking at the space he once stood as you tried to think of what to do. You couldn’t hear anything but the sound of the tv still playing the show you were both watching, but the scent of roast coffee began to fill the dorm so heavily you almost felt dizzy.
While you could still think clearly, you made your way to his room and knocked on the door loud enough you’re sure he could hear. “Go away-“ came the rapper’s voice from deep in the room. “Han, please let me in….I-“ you took a deep breath, nodding to yourself that this was something you wanted to do. “I can help you, if you want…”
Time seemed to pass in slow motion as you waited for a response. After a while you felt the door move slightly as if someone were leaning all of their weight against it from the opposite side. “A-Are you sure? That’s….I wouldn’t ask that much of you if you weren’t sure-“ A soft smile fell on your face as the fondness you felt for the alpha rapper warmed your heart and you nodded until you realized he couldn’t see you. “Yes, I’m sure. Let me in, please?”
Without hesitation, the door opened and you were pulled inside with a little yelp of surprise that soon turned into a low moan as you felt Jisung’s lips against your own.
“It didn’t take long for him to trigger my heat once we uh- got started….” The pack all stated at you with varying levels of shock or amusement, though Chan held a blank stare at the two of you as he was deep in thought.
Hyunjin was the one who spoke up next, head tilted to the side as he observed you. “Must’ve been some rut to trigger your heat through your suppressants.”
You looked down at your lap, mumbling something that caused the leader to speak up. “Sorry, don’t think I quite caught that.”
“I haven’t been able to get suppressants since I moved here but I didn’t want to worry you guys with that-“
The leader let out a deep sigh and shook his head, eyes closed tight before looking to where you and Han still sat side by side on the couch. “You should have called me.” You let out a little scoff, turning away from him. “I hate to break it to you, Christopher, but we are grown adults.”
Chan glared, stepping closer as you stood from your spot and met him halfway. “I’m the leader and it’s my job to keep you both safe. What if something went wrong and no one else was here, hm? You weren’t thinking.” You shot him a glare of your own, not believing he was acting like this. “Packs help each other with ruts and heats all the time, it’s not that big of a deal.”
The leader growled, anger bubbling in his chest as he stood impossibly close and you swore his eyes shown red instead of their normal brown. “Yeah well you aren’t pack, are you?” His words stung, causing you to deflate visibly and take a step away from the alpha.
Immediately he regretted his words, his mind scrambling for a way to take them back. “Oh.” Was all you said, the smell of rotten citrus permeating the area and causing Minho to come to your side from where he had been sitting on the other side of the room. “Chan didn’t mean that, Bunny. He’s just upset- right, hyung?” Before the oldest could answer you were shaking your head and backing away towards your room. “No, he’s right. I’m not- I’m not part of your pack.” And with that you retreated into the room and locked yourself inside.
Now it was Han’s turn to get defensive, rising from the couch and stepping up to the leader. “What the actual fuck, Chan?! You always preach at us to keep our temper under control and then you go and pull a stunt like that?” A low growl erupted from the younger alpha’s chest as he gestured wildly. “I get it, we fucked up- there was a better way we could have gone about things but that’s over and done with now but you just have to go and make it all worse huh? Geez give her a fucking break, give us a break! It’s not like we planned this!”
With a glare thrown the leader’s way, Han began storming off after you. Minho went to follow and the younger simply shook his head. “Not now, Min.” With a gentle knock on the door it opened just enough for the alpha to enter before shutting again and the sound of the lock clicking back into place could be heard.

This flight – compared to my last 3 – was a lot more fun. Between getting some sleep me and the boys entertained each other enough that time passed quickly. Even if I spent the first few hours with headphones in pretending to be asleep. Han sat with me for the flight, taking the opportunity to rest his head on my shoulder as he read a book when I was ‘sleeping’.
When we landed and I turned my phone on I was immediately bombarded with incoming texts. All from J, who found out about the incident at the airport and apparently freaked out.
I left him on read, beyond annoyed with him and Chan. Even Seungmin, though he was just doing what he was told – he still should have told me. Good intentions or not, I trusted them, and they broke that trust and treated me like a possession or a child instead of like a person. Especially J, who knew me better than I knew myself and knew how I would feel about not being told. And he still chose to do this. He made this decision for me.
There were no incidents at the landing airport. The fans were calmer in comparison to the ones at home. There were two cars waiting for us and I immediately claimed the one Chan wasn’t in. Instead, I was with Felix, Han, and Bin.
“You made it thought the airports just fine. Mostly. You really do make all this look so easy.” Bin commented as we drove off.
“Being angry helped, but I am happy I didn’t trip or something as well. Or totally freak out in front of fans when I was drenched in blood.” I shrugged off his compliment. The feeling of the blood soaking my skin was still very fresh in my mind. The smell stuck in my nose.
“If you would have tripped, I'd have laughed hysterically at you. Forever.”
I swung and hit Bin playfully in the stomach. “Meanie.” I pouted and Bin doubled over dramatically, holding his stomach and groaning.
I looked out the window at the new scenery. The first stop on our mini tour was Australia. Melbourne to be exact. Everything looked so like what I grew up with, yet so different. Everything was so new; I couldn’t wait to see it all.
I patted my bag where my camera bag sat, begging to be opened. “Do we have any downtime while we are here?” The schedule on my phone was overwhelming, and I hadn’t yet figured out how to interpret it, so it made sense – but I was working on it. I knew besides the concerts there were a couple of interviews and photoshoots planned, which I was a bit anxious about. It would be the first time we split up for a length of time.
“Depends on if Chan and Lino let us out of practice.” Han answered. “Why?”
“I want to take photos. I’ve never been here. I haven’t gotten to see much at home yet either. It’s kind of sad. I bet its beautiful.”
The 3 Omegas exchanged a look. “We will make sure you have some time.” Felix promised. I smiled widely at him and turned back to the scenery.
I took mental notes of the places I wanted to photograph and explore. And we were so close to the ocean too. Beach photos had such beautiful natural lighting.
Gasping, I flung my arm excitedly behind me, managing to catch all 3 boys in the chest. “Look, look, look!”
Bin, who was closest to me, ignored my excited order and gasped for the air I accidentally knocked out of him. The other 2 looked over.
“Flinders Street Station. Its famous.” Felix confirmed.
“It’s yellow!” It was such an awe-inspiring Victorian style building. I craned my neck to keep looking at it as we passed, bumping my forehead lightly on the glass of the window, making Han chuckle. “It’s gorgeous!” I breathed, fogging the glass in front of me briefly.
“You should see the street art.”
I whipped around to face him. “Can we?”
He shrugged. “Why not. Anywhere you want to go.”
I clapped and squealed, bouncing in my seat in excitement. I couldn’t wait to get out and see some new, amazing sights. I had taken pictures of nothing but my Omegas since I came back. As gorgeous and photographable as they are, I was dying to photograph other things. Get back into nature and its beauty, and the wonder of the human soul put into things like architecture, sculptures, and art for the public to enjoy and wonder at.
“Oh my god.” Bin whispered.
Looking over, I saw all three of them staring at me with wide eyes. “What?” I stilled myself, becoming self-conscious immediately.
Han shook his head and waved his hands. “N-no, no, no! Its just – you’re adorable.”
My face heated instantly, and I covered my cheeks with both hands, trying to hide the blush. “Shuddup, Hannie! You’re not funny!” I whined.
Felix dived over to pull my hands from my face. “Oh my goodness – you’re blushing! You’re so red!”
“Lix, Stop it!” I complained, fighting to get my hands back and hide again.
Lix easily held both my hands with one of his and poked my hot cheek with a wide smile. Han and Bin joined in the poking as I shrieked and fought to get away, slipping almost completely out of my seatbelt and seat onto the floor in the process. They finally stopped when the driver called back to us in annoyance.
“No cuddles for you!” I declared slapping Lixs’ thigh and panting.
He clutched his chest. You cannot deny me cuddles!”
I struggled to get back into my seat and sat again. “Watch me, turd.”
“What about them! They were doing it too!”
“You’re the ringleader!”
Felix gave me his best big eyed, watery pout, complete with a protruding bottom lip. Full force adorableness x1000 activated. The blonde sunshine was pulling out all the stop for the cuddles I never would have denied him anyway. Not in a million years.
I scrunched my nose and pointed at him. “That’s just not fair!”
“But it’s working, right? Because I’m your bias.”
I shook my head miming zipping my lips and throwing away the key. No way would they get me to tell them. That way lay only trouble. And they were already competitive enough.
“We already know it is me. She had more posts about me on insta than anyone else before they deleted everything. Its obvious.” Han declared proudly sending me an air kiss.
“Purely coincidental.” I denied. “You were just extra cute during a video is all.” Han pouted.
“What about Hyunjin? He’s gorgeous! A prince!” Bin gushed.
“He is both those things and more. But I am not telling you my bias. Give it up.”
“Ah!” Bin pointed at me and looked at the other two. “She didn’t deny he was her bias! Its Hyunjin!”
Han and Felix made noises of acknowledgement and agreement. “Hyun is not my bias!” I shouted swiping Felixs phone as he pulled it out to send a mass text of their false discovery. I held it out of his reach.
We wrestled over the phone until the car came to a stop at our hotel and an annoyed driver ushered us out. I gave them an apologetic smile on the way by.
The second group met up with us in the lobby. “What were you doing? We could see you guys fighting from the other care!” Ayen asked reaching out to fix my hair to reestablish contact with me after the short ride apart. Hyun squeezed my hand quickly and Lino swatted my butt to do the same. Chan steered clear – wisely – and Seungmin hid behind him looking miserable.
“We found out who her bias it!” Felix announced distracting me from Seungmin.
“You did not!” I jumped onto Felixs back and locked both hands over his mouth, latching onto him with my legs as he tried to escape. “I am not telling you if I even have a bias – let alone who it is!”
“Alright, enough! Behave!” Chan ordered. I felt him pull me off Felix and immediately shook him off, still pissed at him for lying to me.
Fine. Where’s my room?” I snapped.
We had an entire floor to ourselves. Between me, the Omegas, security, and other staff, we needed the whole floor. I got a room to myself, but the boys all doubled up, two per room. Our rooms were in the middle of the floor – away from the stairway and elevator.
My suitcase was already waiting on the bed for me. A brand-new luxury branded suitcase full of new clothes and items I would need while on tour – when they weren’t telling me what I needed to wear at least.
As I unpacked and settled in, my phone pinged with a notification. I had it set to only notify me for the posts the boys make or any lives that are started. Any other notifications I didn’t really care about and were a bit overwhelming.
It was Chan on a spontaneous live. Curious, I clicked on the notification and let the live play. I could see several other Stray Kids already viewing it, probably just as curious as I was. What prompted Chan to randomly go live?
He was currently talking to someone off camera – I’m assuming Seungmin since that is who he was rooming with – as he waited for people to join. He sat on his bed, against the headboard and it didn’t look like he had even changed out of the clothes he wore on the plane yet. I couldn’t make out Sungmin’s responses but could hear he was responding – probably from the other bed from the angle Chan was looking towards.
Suddenly, he sighed heavily and faced the camera. “Y/n, come get Seungmin. He is very upset.”
“Hyung!” Seungmin complained. He sounded thick and stuffed like he had been crying. Like when you’re sick with a stuffy nose.
Easily giving in, remembering his miserable look in the lobby, I headed across the hall to their room. The last thing he needed was to keep mentioning me in his live – especially after what happened at the airport. I haven’t looked, but I’m sure it’s all over the internet by now. Posted, gifed, memed, and reposted a thousand times over. And I suppose since both Chan and J said they made Seungmin stay quiet, I could let him off the hook now.
When I opened the door Chan silently pointed at a lump under the blankets of the second bed in the room. Seungmin was curled into a ball, completely hiding under his comforter.
Throwing my phone on the bed, I climbed up to lay on top of him, weighing him down securely with my own body weight and letting my scent soak into his blankets.
“My Minnie.” I called quietly.
A second later Mins hand snuck out of his blanket cocoon; palm open in invitation. When I took his hand, he immediately jerked both back under his blanket. I could feel soft puffs of hair as he brought my hand – and scent – closer to his nose.
I patted the blanket where his head was. “Silly boy.” I murmured making myself comfortable.
Only then did I realize Chan was talking, starting his live now that fans had a chance to get on. I had been too distracted taking care of Seungmin to notice.
“…one is alright. No one was physically hurt in the incident.” He was abnormally serious, making my interest pique again. “What happened at the airport was regrettable and it affected not only Y/n – our Alpha – but us as well.”
Twisting at an odd angle so I didn’t rip my hand from Sungmin’s, I took advantage of Chans pause to grab my phone and read the comments. At the same time the bedroom door opened, and the other Omegas filed in and joined Chan – adjusting the camera to get them all in frame. Even Seungmin slid gracelessly out from under me to appear. Together they projected a united front that left me feeling stunned.
“So far we have chosen to ignore the negativity and threats from some members of STAY, never wanting to stifle your opinions.” Felix began explaining uncharacteristically dim for one of the sunshine twins.
“However, Y/n is one of us. A Stray Kid. And our Alpha. The most important member to us.” Chan continued. “And like we would with any member – we will do what we need to to keep her safe.”
“The difference is – if she is forced to go on hiatus for her safety – we are all going on hiatus. A full blown one. And we don’t want that, for anyone.” Lino explained.
Surprisingly, the comments were pretty supportive. STAY was condemning the actions of the attacker and saying we handled the situation very well. There were even several comments inquiring if I was okay. I was touched by their concern.
Cautiously, I hoped this show of support for me continued. That this attack will bring them to accept me as Stray Kids’ Alpha. That I may have proved myself in some small way.
“JYPE is investigating the incident. We will continue the tour as scheduled as of now.” Chan announced, though he sounded stressed. “Though anyone attending can expect a bit more security until we are sure all of Stray Kids are and will remain safe.”
Alright, that way more than enough seriousness for one live. He made his announcements and explained the consequences. It’s time to bring the room back up. Launching myself off the second bed, I flung myself across Lino and Hyun’s’ laps, quickly scrambling to sit up and face the camera.
“Let me tell you how beautiful Melbourne is!” I gushed immediately. “I can’t wait to take pictures and share them with you! The architecture alone is mind blowing! They have a yellow Victorian building! Yellow!”
Flinders?” Chan asked.
“Flinders – that’s it!” I pointed at Chan. “And Felix told me there’s street art – and oh! The ocean! It’s unlike any I’ve seen before!”
Chan chuckled. “We are here for a reason, bug. It’s not a vacation.”
I scoffed. “To you it’s not, you’ve been here before. I’m going to make the most of this trip!”
“I want to see the street art too!” Hyun almost whined.
“Tough. You will be in practice with the rest of us.” Lino replied sternly.
Hyun mimicked him, making a face behind Linos back. I snickered, rubbing my nose to cover it up.
Lino snapped around to glare at Hyune – who immediately smoothed his face and went silent, looking down. “You’re getting scrambled eggs and tissues for breakfast!” Lino declared.
Hyune whined and collapsed forward. “Nooo! I’m sorry!”
I reached back and patted his head with a laugh. “Just think of it as extra fiber.” I suggested.
“I’m sure we can manage to find some time for Y/n to sight see.” Bin said rubbing Hyunes back.
Back to the camera I sighed. “STAY – despite what happened, I am so excited to be here with Stray Kids and even meet some of you as well.”
The live ended pretty quickly after that. The main goal of addressing the airport attack taken care of. Everyone was tired from the long day. I was ready to unpack the rest of my stuff and get something to eat.
Everyone left, back to their rooms, talking animatedly and too loudly. After one more quick nuzzle, Seungmin disappeared into their bathroom. I heard the water turn on a couple seconds later.
Chan was trying desperately to appear engrossed in his phone, but his need to make up with me and reestablish good contact permeated the room. I really wanted to keep giving him the cold shoulder, I was still really upset about the whole thing. But I was his Alpha, and he is only human. And this early into the first times being significantly apart from each other with no reestablishing contact was a pretty harsh punishment. And hopefully one he will remember so he doesn’t do this again in the future. My trust, however, will take a lot longer to get back.
I sighed heavily. “You lied to me Chan. Treated me like a thing or a child.”
Immediately Chans phone was put down and he sat up straight, all pretenses of not being solely focused on me gone. “I was trying to protect you.”
“I get that. I understand and appreciate your wanting to keep me safe. But this was something I needed to know. I need to know anything like this so I can properly be aware and on guard. You can’t – nor should you – shield me from everything. I need to learn to navigate your world.” I tried to explain.
“I know that now. I was just worried they would bully you and scare you into doing what they want. Staying home. Leaving us.”
I deflated entirely. “I’m not going to leave you. And I won’t be bullied by some backwards thinking bigots. Sorry to break it to you = you are stuck with me forever.”
Chan breathed out a laugh and looked at his hands twisting in his lap. “I’m sorry.” His voice cracked slightly with emotion.
I held my arms out in invitation, soft smile on my lips. Chan immediately rolled forward, wrapping his arms around my waist and hiding his face in my lap. I draped myself over his back. “My trust will take longer to earn back, but as long as you don’t do something like this again you will eventually get it.” My actions probably just fed his fears of abandonment, but he had to understand that what he did was not okay and couldn’t be repeated.

Summary - Heat with the boys
Masterlist
Hands slowly ran up from my stomach to my chest, pulling the oversized shirt up with it. These same hands caressed my chest before finishing removing the shirt. Another pair of hands removed the boxers and shorts off at the same time. They quickly returned to my slowly heating skin to massage my thighs. I whined as the heat became more unbearable. "Please remove socks alpha, is too hot.." I asked and quickly my request was taken care of. Now I was laying bare in front of my pack alpha and his second in command. Their eyes eating me up as they caressed the most sensitive parts of me.
I blushed see them stare at my body, their eyes roaming up and down my body. I whine and sat up trying to crawl into Chan's lap. "Alpha please help me, it hurts, need knot." He cooed at me petting my hair before he spoke softly. "Alphas will take care of you sweetie, You must be patient we want to show you our love before we knot and fill you up. Before we leave our mating mark forever adorning your skin." Minho smiled and brought my face to look at him. "First you need to take this shot so you don't get pregnant before you are ready. Every 24 hours we will have to administer the meds like this until your heat is over." I agreed with him and watched as he grabbed the paper bag behind him.
He pulled out a syringe and a bag of needles. Each needle was package separately to keep them as clean as possible. I watched as he used a glove to put one of the needles on the syringe. Then he pulled out the medication and began to transfer it into the syringe. Once he had it done and the air was removed from it, he crawled back over to me. I gave him my thigh as I already knew how this worked. Both the boys gave me astonished looks and chan whispered from behind me. "Honey have you done this before." I nodded. "Sang-jun would do this when he during his rut, he would spike me into a forced heat and then give me the meds as he didn't want a pup yet. They both growled at the notion that I had suffered so much without them.
"Don't think about him anymore alpha's after this heat I'll be all your forever and ever. Now please hurry up and put your knots in me and your marks on me." Slowly my voice went from a straight serious mind to a whiney and whimpering omega again. The two boys smirked again and Minho quickly administered the medication. Once done he picked up the bag and syringe throwing away the needle and placing the rest of it on the counter in the bathroom.
While he was doing this, Chan began to caress my chest again while holding me from behind. I could feel his slowly growing hard on near my butt. So I backed up a bit more to try and grind my ass against him. But he moved back first instead leaning down to kiss around my neck and shoulder. I whined as all my heat hazed mind wanted was to be mated and knotted. But the alphas around me had a different idea. They wanted to show me all of their love before they connect us for life.
As Chan continued to leave small love bites up and down my neck while he massaged my chest. I watched minho return to the room as he locked his hungry lusty eyes with mine. He stalked closer before kneeling down onto the bed and slowly crawled into the nest. Once close enough he pulled me into a deep kiss. His tongue entering my mouth with ease, dominance radiated off of his figure. He pulled away for a few mere seconds before he reattached himself to my collar bone, kissing slowly down my chest. Chan stopped massaging one breast to allow minho to kiss around the nipple. But that lasted a short period of time before he had my nipple between his plump lips, sucking and nibbling it. Euphoria filled my system as both boys showed me how an alpha should really pleasure their omega.
This show of love was nothing like Sang-jun, who would take what he wanted. His pleasure was more important than mine. I don't remember ever experiencing such love, such euphoria and I don't think I would ever be able to get enough. Minho allowed his spare hand to wander around my skin until he was cupping my opposite hip from the breast in his mouth. Suddenly Chans spare hand moved my face to his and he snatched me into a lust-filled kid with him. I felt Minho grind his clothed erection into my crotch forcing a long needing moan from my lips.
Both boys smirked against my skin as I writhed under their hands. Whining for more that they were slowly giving me. My mind was a jumbled hazy mess but as Minho began to strip in front of me, I could feel myself spill out more slick. Once he was undressed, he pulled me out of Chans lap. This allowed the other to begin undressing while he took my attention away. I now laid onto of him but he still had the dominance that he had controlled this whole time. His hands massage my ass as he caught me in another French kiss. I felt one hand leave my ass as he moved his hard on from between us. Now it stood tall leaning against my heat, every now and then he would grind up against my cunt.
I was soon a whining and whimpering mess on top of him, however I soon noticed his untouched glowing skin under me. Now only one thought filled my head, that was to cover him in love bites just as he had done to my chest. I kissed right between his pecks, biting everyone and then. his chest rumbled in a soft moan as I gave him a similar pleasure to what I was feeling. Chan's hand came around and softly pulled me away from leaving my love bites. I whined at this but he quickly tsked me. "No no sweet baby, right now is all about you, showing you what really love feels like. You can please us another time baby." I pouted but agreed, however that pout was quickly faded as I felt his other hand against my cunt.
One finger entering me as he moved back to see my most sentive part bare for him. "Let's get started prepping you for both our knots, Huh pup?" I whined against Minhos chest as Chans fingers began to pump in and out of me, it was quick that had already gotten a second finger inside me. Minho pulled my face to look at him whispering, "I wanna watch how pleased you are while chan opens you up for us." I stayed put staring back at Minho as another finger was added to my cunt, curling and pumping in and out. However suddenly chan's tongue was swirling around while he continued to stretch me out with his fingers.
The pleasure I was feeling was beyond clear comprehension. sure the heat would definitely magnify my pleasure but this was something I would have never experienced before coming to this pack. I was sure after this heat I would never ever want anything more than my pack mates. Even without the soul ties we held, without a mating mark. I would forever be there's and I would hope they would forever be mine had the circumstances been different.
My mind was brought back to earth as I felt the fingers leave my cunt empty, before I could even whine I felt a cock align up to my whole. I looked back to see chan smirking down at me as he slowly began to push himself in. However he allowed for me to get comfortable with each stretch. My heat brain wanted him to just push all in at once but knowing how my pack acred for me, they would never risk hurting me. "Yes alpha please, please move more, 'mega wants all of it please alpha." His slow movements were making my omega restless, wanting nothing more than to be claimed and knotted. Chan growled at me. "We will both have you knotted under us 'mega, be patient." He didn't mean any of this in anger but with how lost in my omegan heat I was, this was the only way he could get through to me.
Once he was fully inserted into me, he began to rock back and forth at a medium pace. Minho scooted himself down to begin sucking and nibbling my nipples again. More pleasure flowing through me as they both used any means necessary to calm the storming heat in my system. I felt chan grab my head, forcing me to look up at a mirror that was against the wall across from us. It had been next to the bathroom door for ages. "Look at that 'mega, watch yourself get fuck and filled by your pack alpha. I want to see your face, do. not. look. away omega. Or I won't knot you tonight." I whined but followed his orders, I would get this knot and mating mark.
His pace began to slowly pick up, until finally he was impossibly pounding in and out of my aching cunt. My body filling quickly with pleasure beyond the gods strength, I knew I was close. However My brain was to succumb to the euphoria to speak coherently. I could feel chan slowly losing his perfect pace, this was enough to know he too was close to blowing.
He growled in my left ear, "Gonna mark you here 'mega. I'm gonna come and tie our souls together for infinite" I felt his cock begins o expand at the base before he finally blew his load deep into my cunt as his knot inflated fully. With this I saw his canines elongate and he bite down around my scent gland. This gave me the final blow to come with him. As I enjoyed the high of my orgasm, I could feel his soul reaching out to mine. Our soul entwining together as almost one. When he detached, I could see his bite mark perfect circle the outside of my scent gland. Perfectly centered on the left side of my neck. I carefully turned around trying my best to hurt neither of us as his knot still stayed stiff. Once I was looking fully at him, I could feel my own canines grow and I latched down onto the space right at the junction between his neck and shoulder. Leaving behind my small yet perfect mate mark as our soul finally fully came together as one.
I smiled at Chan as he gave me a similar loving smile. "As soon as my knot deflates, it's Minho's turn to mate you baby." I glance behind me at Minho who now sat patiently waiting with a shit eating grin.
A minute or two later I was able to detach from chan, and I crawled over to Minho. I was able to climb into his lap already grabbing his red hot cock with my entrance. In seconds I had sat down fully on his cock, moaning at the feeling of being full once again. He picked me up and laid me back down in the nest. Still deep inside he began to pump in and out. Slowly out but slamming back in. Every slam forced a moan from my horse throat. "Please alpha give me more, I wan your knot and mark pwease!" I felt tears fall from my eyes as I begged him.
I got a soft smirk from him as he wiped away my tears. "Okay 'mega no more waiting, I'll knot you up and mate you for life. Then we can go to bedd and the others will come join us soon." I nodded as he began to pick up his pace. Eventually he was pounding in and out of me, both of out breaths were uneven as we looked into each others eyes. Sweat covering both of our skins as we worked to each others high. He pulled me into a deep kiss, making out with me while he continued to pound my cunt into heaven. Soon my high was on the edge again, He too was ready to blow as he began to expand at the base. Just as we locked together, both of us orgasmed hard. Our canines now fully protruding as we both found the perfect spot to claim.
The feeling of our souls sewing together into one while experiencing the euphoric high of our orgasms was beyond a description. I was so lucky to get 6 more times to experience such perfection. We both pulled away from each other, I could see my mark left in a similar place to how I mark chan. A glance to the mirror showed me that Minho had left the exact same mark as Chan just his was surrounding my right scent gland.
I smiled and went back to clean up minhos mark, licking away at the wound so it would heal nicely. I had done the same to chan while we waited for his knot to deflate. Feeling both of them clean up the wound of the mark afterwards was nearly a romantic feeling. It was just soft and full of professing love.
Once minho had fully deflated, I was pulled off of him by Chan. He had put his t-shirt and boxers back on. While minho got his tshirt and boxers. Chan helped me get into a clean pair of boxers and a shirt. He opened a nearby drawer set, apparently he had already prepped the drawers in advance, t-shirts and boxers from all my mates sat inside ready for me to use between the highs of my heat. I could smell that the tshirt was from minho and the boxers from chan. After making each other we were more sensitive to each other, wanting only our scents on each other. So I was given their clothes to wear as a way to keep me smelling like them.
They both pulled me down into the nest. The base of the nest had been switched out by Minho while chan had dressed me. That way I could lay in a clean nest while we rested, instead of slick, sweat, and cum. After laying together for a few minutes I heard the sound of the rest of the pack joining us. I was sandwiched between Minho and Chan, So they all took turns giving me a kiss on the forehead. They all complimented and praised me for how well I handled the two alphas.
Their soft voices quickly lulled me off into a deep sleep as the exhaustion from earlier activities finally kicked in. I finally succumb to the energy loss and fell asleep, happily between all my pack mates.

Omegas from Sector A - [Alpha!Minho x omega!reader]
Masterlist
Recommendations
One shot, Extras
Word count: 3.1k
summary: Y/n was not only the first girl to be sent to the clearing (from sector A) but also the first omega. How will the boys deal with her when they realize she's not exactly what they'd expect from an omega? Note: "Omegas from Sector A" is an interconnected series and Y/n in this story will be called Ava in the rest of the series. The rest of the serie is available on the masterlist. Thank you all!
Everyone was surprised to smell an omega when the box was opened and even more surprised when they saw that inside was a girl and not another boy.
Y/n was frightened, she didn't remember anything, her name, where she was or how she got there, everything was a mystery to her even…
She stopped watching one of the alphas, blond and blue-eyed, who had bravely entered the box and was now holding out his hand to her.
“Why do I have this huge bunch of idiots staring at me!” She shouts, causing everyone to choke and the blond man who was holding out his hand to shrink away.
Moving forward Y/n sees that they back off and with confidence she steps out of the box. She walks slowly while observing the space around her, at first glance she was trapped in a clearing by huge walls. Turning around she sees the group of alphas still standing by the box looking at her. Looking into the forest, she launched herself towards them, running quickly.
A chorus of surprised shouts can be heard and after a moment of shock they all quickly start running after her, but luckily for Y/n she is faster.
___
“How could no one find her? She must be in the clearing. She didn't go out through the gates, did she?” Says Alby exasperated, he should have gone to see the box arrive this morning.
“She ran into the forest, we lost her there and we've been watching the gate ever since,” Windstone says.
“Alby, what's going on?” Minho asks as he enters the hut.
“A girl, omega, climbed into the box today while you were outside, but she ran off into the forest and they can't find her” Alby explains.
“An omega? Shouldn't she have an easy-to-follow scent?”
“She did, but it just disappeared,” explains Windstone.
“How did she lose her scent?” Minho asks in disbelief.
“Minho listen, the other runners are already looking for her, but I was hoping you could help, we wanted to find her before nightfall”
Minho agrees a little exasperated by the situation and heads off into the forest.
___
Minho smells the faint scent of an omega and follows it to the point where it disappeared, looking around he sees a puddle of mud stirred up. She must have covered her glands with mud to hide her scent so we wouldn't be able to sniff her out. Clever. She knows what she's doing. Minho thought.
Minho bites his lip to hold back a smile as he looks up, thinking, What else is she capable of?
___
Idiots.
Y/n thinks as she watches the alphas in the distance running around. She would take advantage of the darkness of the night to escape through the gates and would soon be out of there. All she had to do was wait.
“The view from up there must be good”
Minho laughed as he watched the omega at the top of the tree suddenly turn at the sound of his voice.
“Are you coming down or would you prefer me to pick you up?”
He can see her consider for a moment before starting to climb down, but when she's on a lower branch she launches herself shouting “Catch me!”
Y/N throws herself at Minho knocking him to the ground, stunned he takes a second to recover. That second, however, was all Y/n needed to get up and run for the gates.
Getting up hastily, Minho runs as fast as he can after her. The gates are about to close.
“Get her!” Minho shouts at the top of his voice to the two guarding the gates.
They both run towards Y/n, but she dodges nimbly, causing them both to stumble as she heads towards the gates.
Shit!” Minho shouts, accelerating as fast as he can.
Y/n is almost there. Just a little further. She thinks as a huge gust of wind accompanied by an ominous noise brings her to a stop just outside the entrance. She hesitates, but seeing the alphas rushing towards her she is impelled to continue - As the gates begin to close she is about to move forward, but fortunately her earlier hesitation has given Minho enough time to catch up. She struggles against Minho's grip, but he only lets her go when the gates finally close and they find themselves surrounded by the others.
Y/n growls at Minho, too frustrated that he has prevented her escape to care about getting rid of the hand that still holds her arm.
“Is she really an omega?”
“Yeah, she doesn't smell like one,” some comment.
“Doesn't even look like one” someone adds.
Pulling her by the arm Minho removes the mud from her neck allowing her scent to flow again.
Everyone is silent until finally one of them says, “I didn't know you could do that.”
“Yes, she's clever… and quick,” Minho admits without realizing it, making Y/n look at him, pleased with the recognition and at the same time surprised that he had noticed. “We'd better explain to her what's going on, if she understands I don't think she'll run away again” he adds.
“I agree. Let's talk calmly.” says Alby ”Newt, Gally, come too.”
___
Although it was better than the other explanations she had come up with during her time up in the tree, she couldn't help but look septically at the four alphas in front of her.
“So the runners are responsible for finding a way out of here?”
“Exactly,” Alby agrees.
“Okay, so I want to be a runner,” Y/n declares calmly.
“That's not how it works. Runners are the fastest and strongest of us all and you're an omega” Gally intervenes.
“I think I've shown myself to be faster and more agile than all of you” Y/n growls at Gally.
There is a brief silence where everyone seems to agree that she has already shown herself to be quite capable.
“Minho” Alby calls out "It's your call".
Y/n looks at the only alpha who was able to find and catch her in anticipation.
“I need some time to think about it Alby, she's just arrived”
“Okay, I understand you” Alby agrees.
___
It was already evening, but the lights of the bonfire and torches illuminated the place as shouts and celebrations were heard from the boys. Y/n decided to stay close to Minho not only so that she could exert psychological pressure on his decision, but also because so far Minho was the only alpha she respected enough to trust.
She was sitting on the floor while Minho stood next to her in small talk with Ben. Y/n was silently observing the dynamic between the groups when something caught her eye.
“What are they doing?”
Minho turned his attention away from the conversation with Ben to see what Y/n was referring to. “It's a kind of game, the aim is to get the other person out of the circle. Gally usually wins.”
“Did he beat you?” She asks with curiosity.
“I've never taken part, it's not something I'm interested in” Minho explains.
Y/n watches another alpha being thrown out of the circle and gets up, walking towards him, thinking it would be the perfect opportunity to show herself. She holds out her hand to him, he looks a little confused, but still takes her hand and she helps him up.
“It's my turn,” she says, turning to Gally.
Everyone is shocked, but Gally doesn't want to make himself look weak by refusing the challenge of an omega and accepts.
Y/n and Gally position themselves in the middle of the circle as the crowd gathers around them.
The game begins and Y/n is quick to dodge all of Gally's inverts, which only serves to irritate him more and more. Every time she dodges a chorus of “Wow”s is heard in the crowd.
“All you do is dodge! Don't you know how to fight back or what?” Gally shouts.
Y/n smiles, destabilizing Gally and making him rush in to punch her. With her forearm she deflects the direction of Gally's fist, grabbing it with both hands she uses his speed to throw him forward.
Everyone is wide-eyed, Gally is lying on the ground outside the circle while Y/n remains victorious inside. After a few moments of silence, applause and celebrations erupt from the crowd.
Y/n looks for Minho among the others and smiles when she sees him applauding. She runs up to him, stopping right in front of him with her eyes fixed on his and her breath panting.
“Well?” She asks.
Minho nods with a smile “You're a runner”.
A new chorus of celebrations is heard, but this time Y/n joins in, impulsively she hugs Minho who after a moment returns the embrace. As quickly as she came, she walked away and joined the others in the celebration while Minho stood there.
Both that night and the next, the sensation of Y/n's warmth in his arms took away Minho's sleep and he cursed himself internally for having fallen in just one day for the omega.
___
“Is this the labyrinth?” Y/n asks as he looks at the model on the day he remembered its name.
“Not all of it, it changes every night, but we think we know how many patterns there are and we've almost finished mapping the inner ring” Minho explains.
“So when do I start?”
“Tomorrow you come with me, but don't leave my side. In the meantime I want you to decorate the map”
“Okay” Y/n smiles and focuses his gaze on the map.
Minho smiles back and quickly leaves the hut, putting his hand to his chest he can feel his heart racing.
Y/n watches Minho leave and bites his lip. That alpha was beyond interesting.
___
Three months pass, each time a new greenie is brought in by the box, but always a boy, another alpha. Little by little, the other alphas began to respect Y/n and she was integrated into the group. She and Gally develop a kind of competitive sibling relationship, constantly competing over small things and arguing with each other. Her relationship with Minho, however, was different, there was something more than friendship and it seemed that everyone could see it except them.
Minho was possessive of Y/n and his feeling of protection was different from what the others had for her, whenever a greenie arrived Minho was the first to make it clear that he shouldn't bother Y/n and if he tried Minho wouldn't hesitate to put him in his place.
The others would have meddled in Minho's unofficial claim to Y/n if they couldn't see that Omega wanted him as much as he wanted her. Although the group had left the situation quiet for the two of them to sort out, it was frustrating for many that Minho had literally the only omega in the clearing in love with him and did nothing about it.
However, the passing of the months didn't just bring new greenie , for Y/n every month that passed was a month that brought her closer to her rut and every month she could feel herself becoming more desperate for the alpha.
___
“I don't think this is a good idea,” says Gally.
“You owe me one and you said you'd help me” Y/n argues.
“Y/n Minho will kill me if-”
“If he really likes me”
“You're the only omega here, you can have any alpha, just walk up to one and ask”
“So you'd stay with me?”
“Okay, I'm the exception”
“What's stopping Minho from also being an exception?”
“Well I don't know maybe the fact that he puts his scent on you constantly without you realizing it?”
“He doesn't do that” Y/n blushes.
“You reek of him” Gally declares simply before leaving the cabin.
___
Y/n stands on her tiptoes so that she can whisper in Gally's ear, “Is he looking?”
Gally swallows dryly, unconsciously squeezing Y/n's waist tighter as she presses their bodies even closer together. “If looks could kill, I'd be dead and buried.”
“Good” Y/n says smiling at Gally who, unlike her, was regretting her decision to help more each second.
Y/n rests her forehead on Gally's shoulder as they both dance for a while by the fire. Gally tries to ignore the gazes of the other alphas on them, it was obvious that this would be the case. Everyone knew that Minho and Y/n liked each other, so of course her and Gally dancing together instead of fighting was something no one expected.
On the other hand, as time passed and Minho remained still, Y/n could feel the humiliation more and more. It was so stupid of her to think that he reciprocated her feelings, she shouldn't have trusted what others said.
“Gally” Y/n whispers, snapping the alpha out of his trance. Suddenly Gally feels tears on his shoulder and is alarmed “You were right, this was a bad idea”
“Do you want to get out of here?” He can feel her nodding positively on his shoulder.
When Minho sees Y/n leave the party with Gally, something inside him just snaps, but even though everyone is waiting for his reaction, he remains quiet. Y/n was the one who had to choose who she wanted by her side and he had no right to interfere.
___
Back in his hut, Y/n cries and Gally feels bad that the plan didn't work out. It was stupid from the start to try to make Minho jealous, but he would rather have been punched in the nose and had this problem finally solved than have her like this.
Watching her sob, Gally thinks that maybe he'd better keep an eye on her for today.
___
“Minho! Minho” Gally shouts in a whisper in an attempt to wake only Minho.
Minho wakes up and a scowl immediately adorns his face when he sees Gally. He gets up from his hammock and starts walking away from the other alpha before the latter grabs his arm to stop him. Y/n might have had the right to choose but Gally was his friend, he should have known about his feelings for the omega.
“Minho, we don't have time, it's Y/n!”
Minho looks at Gally with obvious concern “What happened?”
“She's going into heat.”
“Wha-” Minho stops himself and frees himself from Gally's grip ”What are you calling me for? You take care of it,” he replies coldly, walking away and ignoring his inner alpha's outrage at his words.
Gally rushes after Minho in exasperation “Right, so it's okay if another alpha helps her during the heat?”
Minho immediately turns around, grabbing Gally by the collar and growling. When he realizes what he's done and goes to let go, Gally speaks again “We all know you're each other's alpha. Yesterday she just wanted to make you jealous so that you'd take an attitude. She asked me to call you”.
Minho looks at Gally in an attempt to gauge the truth of what he has said, but when he finds no trace of a lie, he lets go of him and starts running in the direction of Y/n's hut.
“My shoulders even feel lighter,” Gally says to himself, sighing as he massages his own shoulders.
___
“You're not so strong now, are you? Just a helpless little omega”
“Let me go!” Minho hears Y/n shout as he approaches her hut making him run.
“I have to thank Gally, I was afraid of what Minho might do, but after seeing him meek while you danced with someone else right in front of him I realized that you're happy with anyone, aren't you? And he doesn't mind, so it's okay if I just-”
When Minho enters he sees the greenie, Justin, pinning Y/n to the bed. In a second Minho knocks the alpha to the floor with one punch and stands over him punching him non-stop, he screams for help, but Minho's ears are deaf and all he sees is red until-
“Minho” Y/n's crying voice calls out.
Minho immediately stops and looks at Y/n who is trying to cover herself with red, tear-filled eyes, he notices that her shirt is torn and immediately runs to her.
Justin takes advantage and runs out of the hut, but at the moment all Minho could worry about was Y/n.
“Y/n!” Minho exclaims. Without thinking about it, he takes off his shirt and puts it over her shoulders before hugging her protectively.
The omega cries as Minho whispers “It's okay, I'm here”.
Y/n absorbs the alpha's warmth, the beating of his heart and the comforting grip of his arms calming her.
“Alpha” Y/n whispers as she places her nose over Minho's scent gland.
Minho wrinkles his nose realizing that the bastard's scent lingers in it. Carefully he begins to rub the gland on her neck with his nose working with his wrists to cover Y/n in his scent and eliminate any trace of the other alpha's scent.
When he's finished Minho lies down pulling Y/n with him into a more comforting position. For a while only their breathing can be heard. Minho lovingly strokes Y/n's hair until she surprises him by getting up.
Y/n is quick to get up and mount Minho, dazed he puts his hands on her waist and tries to steady her. She remains like this for a while, mounted on Minho with her hands on his bare chest and her head lowered so that her expression is hidden.
Minho breathed heavily, trying to control his alpha impulses, which were getting worse with every breath of the scent of the omega he was head over heels in heat for.
“Y/n-”
“It's a lie!” Y/n states as hot tears fall down Minho's chest.
“It's a lie, it's a lie, it's a lie!” she says shaking her head furiously and burying herself in Minho's chest. “I-I'm not satisfied with just anyone”
“Y/n I know that-” Minho begins, smiling reassuringly, but is interrupted.
“I only want you. You're the one I want. I asked Gally to help me try to make you jealous.”
At this point Minho feels like an idiot for not having listened to what Newt was telling him and falling for Gally's act.
Keeping her pressed to his chest Minho sits up before holding her chin and making her look at him. “You already have me and I already have you, ever since I caught you when you jumped out of that tree and asked me to do it on your first day,” he says before closing the distance between them with a kiss.

» Masterlist « | Capítulo 2
— A ver si lo he entendido bien.
Empieza a empaquetar tus pertenencias cuanto antes.
— ¡¿Perdona?!
—. Perdón, estoy divagando.
— "No hay nada que perdonar. Entonces estaré allí a las once y media. Ah, y Lis...
Con él está Felix, y aquí atrás tenemos a I.N, Lee Know, o Minho y...
— Kim Seungmin.
I.N carraspeó y dijo:
— No huele. —siseó—. No me gusta.
— Eso ha sido muy grosero. —contestó Lis, cruzándose de brazos.
— No creas.
— Al menos tú has pedido mi consentimiento.

Minho wasn’t sure what to expect when the teacher announced they’d have a new student joining their class. Honestly, nothing good ever came from those announcements. It was either someone who’d instantly become a teacher’s pet, or someone who’d break the curve on every test. The murmurs among his classmates were just as chaotic as usual:
“Is it an omega?” whispered one girl, clutching her notebook like the mere idea of another omega might shatter her fragile dreams.
“Maybe another Iota?” chimed in a guy from the back.
“Do you think they’ll be hot?” asked another, leaning so far forward in their desk that Minho feared they might actually slide off. Priorities, apparently, were alive and well in this room.
Minho sighed, staring at his notebook and twirling his pen like a bored drummer. Why did everyone always act like this was a game of “Guess the Newbie”? What were they expecting? That the door would burst open and some sparkling creature would walk in, tossing their hair? Reality was far less exciting. It was probably just another Kappa with a questionable sense of humor or an omega with an even more questionable haircut.
The highest rank to ever exist in the building is an epsilon, Seungmin.
But Minho didn’t care. He was far more invested in perfecting the little doodle of a disgruntled cat in the margins of his notebook than in yet another transfer student who’d probably cause a minor riot for a week and then vanish into the gray blur of mediocrity. He’d seen it all before: the hushed whispers, the speculative stares, the over-the-top introductions. It was always the same routine, and frankly, he wasn’t interested.
That was until you walked in.
The moment the door creaked open, it was as if someone had flipped a switch. The shift in the air was immediate, sharp, almost electric. Conversations screeched to a halt mid-sentence. Pencils froze mid-scribble. Even the class’s notorious gum-chewer accidentally swallowed it down.
Minho, still blissfully immersed in giving his cat doodle the perfect grumpy expression, barely registered the collective intake of breath around him. Then it hit him—the scent.
He blinked.
But every step you took radiated an energy that screamed, "Yes, I’m the main character, and yes, you’re all extras."
Your gaze swept the room, scanning the sea of wide-eyed faces, ranging from shock to something bordering on fear, some confused. Maybe this was what you got for walking into a room of alpha-scent-deprived omegas and humans—a cocktail of curiosity, unease, and outright fascination brewing in the air. It wasn’t entirely your fault; the odds of encountering anyone outside the standard rankings here were slim to none.
This place was the catch—a strange little bubble where no other rankings, except for the occasional omega and a handful of kappas, existed for miles. If you were lucky, you might stumble across two or three iotas or epsilon types in the wild, like rare birds someone whispered about but never actually saw. This wasn’t just a school; it was the breach, a shaky middle ground between werewolf instincts and human normalcy.
And here you were, freshly thrust into the mix, a human (used to be) and newly turned, still figuring out what that even meant. Adjusting wasn’t exactly your strong suit, especially with instincts that swung between “protect everyone” and “don’t touch me, I’ll fucking pluck your eyes.” The city was too much—too loud, too crowded, too full of conflicting scents that tangled up in your brain and made every second feel like a fight to breathe.
So you’d come here, to this quiet pocket of nowhere, hoping for something simpler. But the stares around you said this wasn’t going to be simple at all.
But what really made Minho’s pen falter mid-stroke was the scent rolling off you. It wasn’t the typical “oh, I’m new and slightly nervous” smell that transfer students wore like an awkward cologne. No, this was different. This was like a summer storm breaking through a stifling heatwave—sharp, invigorating, and impossible to ignore.
“An alpha,” someone whispered, as if the word itself might summon divine intervention.
Minho slowly looked up, and his eyes met yours. He told himself the clench in his stomach was just hunger. Or indigestion. Or maybe his body’s reaction to realizing that, for once, this might not just be another forgettable week.
“Sit wherever there’s space."
Your gaze settled on the middle row, right before the doodling guy. There, two boys sat next to each other—one, a kappa who looked nonchalantly at his notebook, and the other, an omega. His fluffy brown hair framed his soft features, and he had the kind of face that could light up a room.
Instinct kicked in, and you moved toward them. Every step closer made the omega’s scent more vivid—sweet, with a hint of vanilla.
Stopping beside the kappa, you tilted your head.
“Move,” you said, voice steady but not unkind.
The guy blinked at you, then at the omega beside him, before grabbing his things and relocating without a word. You slid into the seat, your presence filling the space as you set your bag on the floor and leaned slightly toward the omega.
“Hi,” you said with a small smile, voice low but friendly.
His eyes—round, wide, and startled—met yours. His scent spiked, sugary sweetness intensifying as his lips parted slightly. “H-Hi…” he stammered, voice barely above a whisper.
It took you a second to realize that his cheeks were flushed, his breaths coming faster, pupils blown wide. Then it hit you—the telltale signs of an omega thrown into a sudden rut.
The boy’s fingers gripped the edge of his desk as he looked away, clearly trying to compose himself. “I—I need to go,” he muttered quickly, standing and nearly stumbling as he hurried out of the classroom.
The teacher paused mid-sentence, eyebrows raised, but didn’t stop him. Omegas in rut weren’t uncommon, after all.
Before you could think too much about it, someone sitting behind you leaned forward. “You’ve got some presence,” they whispered.
You turned to see another omega—this one with dark, sharp eyes and a slightly annoyed expression. His scent was more subtle than the first omega’s, but it still carried an unmistakable undercurrent of tension.
“Did you have to pick his seat?” he asked, his tone almost accusatory.
“What do you mean?”
The boy scoffed lightly. “Jisung’s sensitive. You sitting there just flipped his whole system upside down, it’s his first time sensing an alpha, everyone told him it’s so good and he didn’t believe it”
“Is that so?” you mused, a smirk tugging at your lips, noting his name in your head, cute. “And you? Are you about to run out of here too?”
“If you’re going to keep sitting there,” he said, his voice steady but his scent betraying him again, “don’t think you’ll get to me that easily.”
You leaned back in your seat, amused. “What’s your name?”
“Minho,” he said. “And don’t think you’re all that just because you made him run out.”
Your grin widened. “I’ll take that as a challenge.”
Minho narrowed his eyes but didn’t respond. From the corner of your eye, you saw him fidgeting slightly, his scent wavering like he was trying not to be affected by you.
Jisung was still nowhere to be seen when the bell rang. Minho stood, grabbing his bag, and paused beside you.
“If you really want to cause chaos, keep sitting there,” he said, lips twitching into a half-smile. “Just don’t be surprised if the rest of the omegas around here can’t handle you.”
You tilted your head, watching him leave.
The next day, the energy in the classroom was electric. Whispers filled the air as students leaned into each other, exchanging glances and hushed remarks. The focus of their chatter? You.
“She’s the only alpha in the whole school,” one girl murmured, her eyes flicking to Jisung, who sat slouched in his seat, face burning red.
“Bet she smelled Jisung’s rut yesterday,” a guy teased, grinning.
“Leave me alone,” Jisung muttered, sinking lower in his chair. His scent spiked slightly, a mix of embarrassment and lingering arousal, which only made the others laugh harder.
“Relax, Jisung,” another boy said, smirking. “Maybe she likes you. She did choose to sit next to you.”
“Shut up!” Jisung snapped, voice cracking, which only made the teasing worse.
Minho, who sat a behind, clicked his tongue in annoyance. “Would you all stop acting like pups? It’s pathetic,” he said, his sharp tone silencing most of the group.
But even Minho couldn’t completely hide the tension in his scent, a subtle undercurrent of something heated and restrained.
Before anyone could reply, the door opened, and the room instantly fell silent. Your scent hit them first—a commanding presence that rippled through the air like a shockwave. Omegas and betas alike straightened in their seats, their teasing forgotten as they instinctively lowered their gazes. Even Minho stiffened, his fingers curling slightly around the edge of his desk.
You walked in with the same confidence as the day before, your sharp gaze scanning the room before settling on your seat beside Jisung. You offered him a faint smile as you sat down, and he practically choked on his own breath, fumbling to look anywhere but at you.
The tension in the room was palpable, and you could feel it—the way every gaze lingered, every breath hitched. It wasn’t just curiosity; it was instinctual. They couldn’t help it.
A moment later, the teacher walked in—a middle-aged omega woman whose scent was laced with the faintest trace of nerves. She cleared her throat, her eyes scanning the room until they landed on you. For a brief second, her scent wavered, and you caught it—a mix of apprehension and something else she quickly suppressed.
“Good morning,” she said, her voice a little too tight as she began calling attendance.
When she got to your name, she hesitated, glancing up at you before quickly moving on. It was subtle, but everyone noticed.
By the third day, the classroom dynamics had started to shift. Initially, everyone had been on edge around you, their instincts hyper aware of your alpha presence. But you made an effort to be approachable—smiling at your classmates, helping pick up dropped notebooks, and even laughing at their jokes. Slowly, the tension eased, and people started to warm up to you.
Even Jisung, who had been a nervous wreck at first, now managed to talk to you without tripping over his words. “You’re surprisingly chill for an alpha,” he said one afternoon, offering you a shy grin.
“What’s that supposed to mean?” you asked, raising an eyebrow but grinning back.
“Just…you’re nice,” he said, cheeks tinting pink. “Like, you don’t act like you’re better than everyone.”
“Why would I?” you replied with a shrug. “I mean, sure, I’m an alpha, but that doesn’t make me more important than anyone else.”
Your casual attitude quickly became a topic of conversation. People in the class started to joke about how “cool” you were for an alpha, and some of the braver students—especially the omegas—began to test the limits of your friendliness.
One afternoon, as you were talking to Jisung and Minho, a group of omega girls approached. They giggled among themselves, their scents sugary and playful, as one of them leaned a little too close.
“You smell really good,” she said, her voice soft and sweet.
You blinked at her, caught off guard. “Uh, thanks?”
Another girl chimed in, her tone teasing. “Can we…smell you? Like, just a little? You’re an alpha, after all.”
You hesitated, glancing at Jisung and Minho. Jisung’s face was bright red, his scent spiking with embarrassment, while Minho rolled his eyes, muttering something under his breath.
“Um, sure?” you said, scratching the back of your neck. “If it makes you happy.”
The girls squealed in delight, leaning in closer. One of them brushed her shoulder against yours, while another pretended to adjust your collar, her fingers lingering a little too long. You couldn’t help but laugh nervously, unsure of how to handle the sudden attention.
“Wow,” one of them said dreamily, inhaling deeply. “No wonder everyone’s obsessed with you.”
Minho let out an exasperated sigh. “You’re letting them take advantage of you,” he muttered, loud enough for you to hear.
“They’re just curious,” you replied, glancing over your shoulder at him.
“Curious, my ass,” he shot back, his sharp gaze cutting to the girls. “They’re practically rubbing themselves on you.”
At his words, one of the girls giggled, leaning even closer to you. “Don’t be jealous, Minho,” she teased, her tone playful.
“I’m not,” he snapped, his cheeks faintly pink.
The tension in the room shifted slightly, and you decided it was time to put an end to the situation. Standing, you stepped back, creating a little space between yourself and the girls. “Okay, that’s enough sniffing for one day,” you said, laughing lightly to keep the mood relaxed.
The girls pouted but didn’t push further, returning to their seats with lingering smiles.
As you sat back down, Minho leaned forward, his voice low. “You’re too nice for your own good.”
“I’m just trying to make friends,” you replied with a shrug.
“Friends don’t grope each other,” he muttered, his scent spiking slightly with irritation.
You smirked, leaning your chin on your hand as you looked at him. “Oh, really? What about you and Jisung?”
Minho froze, his expression shifting into something between horror and indignation. “What are you talking about?”
“You’re always smacking him on the butt,” you said, your grin widening. “Isn’t that technically groping?”
Jisung nearly choked on his drink, bursting into laughter as Minho’s ears turned pink. “She’s got you there,” Jisung wheezed.
Jisung leaned closer to you, still giggling. “Welcome to the group,” he said.
“Thanks,” you replied, grinning. “I think I’m going to like it here.”
Minho took a bite of his sandwich, trying to ignore the low hum of tension in the air as the other students filtered through the cafeteria.
"Hey, you," a voice broke through his thoughts.
He turned to see a girl standing in front of you, holding her tray with a friendly smile. She was one of the more outgoing girls from their class, known for her habit of striking up conversations with just about anyone. Her omega scent was subtle but noticeable in the sea of mixed smells.
“Hey, um… you. I was wondering if you’d like to come to the sauna with the girls after school?” She asked, almost nervously, glancing around to make sure no one was listening too closely. “We all thought it’d be fun, you know, a little bonding time. Plus, I heard you’re new here, and we’d love to have you join.”
The other girls sitting around the table exchanged glances, some of them clearly waiting for your response with bated breath. It wasn’t unusual for the omega girls to invite new students to these kinds of social gatherings, but there was something about this particular invitation that felt a little more… deliberate. The scent of the group shifted slightly as the girls around her leaned forward, hoping to gauge your reaction.
Minho glanced at you from the corner of his eye, still chewing his sandwich but now far more aware of the situation than before. He had to admit, the idea of a group sauna sounded strange to him. He knew the way omegas could act when they were in groups—clustering around an alpha like they were about to do something they couldn’t do alone.
Would you go? Minho wondered. Something about it seemed off to him, and he wasn’t sure whether he should just ignore it or step in.
You glanced up at the girl, the faintest smile tugging at your lips as you assessed the situation. The air around you was thick with anticipation, the other girls practically holding their breath, eager to hear what you’d say.
You let the silence hang for a moment, letting the tension build, before you tilted your head slightly and said, “A sauna, huh? Sounds fun... but I think I’ll pass.”
The girl blinked, taken aback by your response, her hopeful expression faltering for a moment. You could practically see the other girls' shoulders slump in disappointment, the air around them deflating.
The girl who had asked you stepped back, her cheeks flushed with a mix of confusion and slight embarrassment. "Oh… okay, no worries!" she stammered before turning to leave, her friends quickly following suit.
...
A few months had passed since you’d first joined the class, and Minho had started to get used to your presence. It was strange how you could throw the entire class into a whirlwind just by walking into a room. The scent of an alpha—strong and commanding—had made everyone on edge at first. But as time went on, he found himself becoming more accustomed to it.
However, for the past three days, you hadn’t shown up.
Everyone noticed, of course.
The usual buzz of chatter and whispers had been a little quieter without you there.
For those three days, Minho sat beside Jisung. It wasn’t like you to just skip class, so naturally, they both worried. What happened? Was she sick? Something else? Minho couldn’t help but feel a nagging concern in the pit of his stomach.
As they were leaving school together, Jisung, who had been unusually quiet that day, turned to Minho.
“Do you think we left something under the desk?” he asked.
“In case we forgot something.”
Minho shrugged and crouched down beside the desk. He slipped his hand under the desk, feeling around.
He paused when his fingers brushed against something soft. A cloth. A handkerchief, to be exact.
Without saying a word, Minho pulled it out and tucked it into his pocket.
“Nothing there,” he said casually, trying to mask the odd sense of familiarity he felt as he looked at the handkerchief. Something about it seemed like it belonged. Something about it felt... personal.
Later, when Minho was alone at home, his thoughts wandered back to the handkerchief. His curiosity got the best of him, and he took it out, smelling it. The soft fabric had a faint trace of your scent—your unique, unmistakable alpha scent was strong enough to intoxicate him.
“Hey Minho, sorry I’ve been missing the past few days. I’m kind of... out of it. Could you bring me some mango juice? I’m craving it right now.”
Minho blinked, staring at the screen. There was something off about the message, something that triggered a sudden awareness in him. He knew you weren’t just sick—you weren’t the type to let something like that keep you down for long.
Before he could stop himself, he was already typing a reply.
“Of course, I’ll bring it to you.”
He didn’t tell Jisung. There was no need to explain, not when he wasn’t sure how to even explain his own feelings. You hadn’t shared much with him about your personal life, and he certainly didn’t know much about your habits—besides the scent of an alpha that always seemed to hang around you. The idea of running errands for you wasn’t a big deal... but there was something about the request that felt different now, more urgent.
After school, Minho found himself standing in front of your house, the mango juice clutched in his hand, his mind racing. This wasn’t the first time he’d done something for you. But this time felt different.
He hesitated before knocking. When you opened the door, his senses were hit by a wave of your scent—sharp, heady, and overwhelmingly potent. It hit him like a physical force, almost suffocating in its intensity. It wasn’t just the usual traces of you—this was something entirely different. Something raw, primal, and undeniably irresistible.
His breath hitched in his throat as the scent wrapped around him, clinging to the air like an invisible thread pulling him closer to you. His heart rate quickened, his body reacting to the overwhelming sensation. He hadn’t been prepared for this, hadn’t anticipated just how much your presence would affect him in this state.
You stood there, still slightly flushed, watching him with those eyes of yours—eyes that were both distant and yearning. Minho’s body tensed, caught between wanting to retreat and feeling like he couldn’t move away. It wasn’t like he could just turn and leave; the guilt, the helplessness in your voice, made it impossible to just walk out.
“Minho?” you asked softly, and that was enough to bring him back from the haze the scent had cast over him.
There was a sheen of sweat on your forehead, and your eyes, usually sharp and focused, were clouded with something else.
“I… I’m sorry,” you said, your voice barely above a whisper, trembling slightly. “I didn’t want to burden you, but I’m in heat. I didn’t know who else to ask.”
Minho's knees buckled...
18+ NSFW content ahead!
Minho's knees buckled and his mind went foggy, unable to put together a sentence let alone a word. With the look Minho gave, you started to have second thoughts, perhaps this wasn't such a good idea after all. “I'm sorry, I can see your uncomfortable. You can leave” you said with a heavy sigh “Thanks for the juice tho.”
“N-no no no it's fine, girls walk around school in heat all the time,” but none of them were Alphas, none of them smelled as powerful and overwhelming as you.
“Do you want to come in then?” you asked, trying your best to still look friendly despite the situation. Minho knew it was a bad idea, didn't know if he could control himself. He'd never been in the presence of an Alpha in heat. He was still just now getting used to being with an Alpha period.
“Uhh, sure I'll come in,” he blurted out. He didn't mean to say yes but it was too late, from then on his fate was sealed.
Once inside Minho was scared to move, everything smelled like you and his mind was still racing a thousand thoughts a second. You shuffled your way around him and sat down on your couch, opening the small drink to take a sip.
“You can sit down, you look weird just standing there,” you said patting the seat beside you.
Instinctually, Minho darted to the seat beside you, unable to control his movements and completely lost in your scent.
Minho sat down on the couch half confidently, but you could smell the nervousness under everything else. His pinky finger slid to yours causing you to look up at him, with those eyes of yours.
The moment lasted for what seemed like forever, the two of you staring at each other. His face plastered with a half-smirk, yours blank trying to read what your next move should be.
“So whatcha wanna do?” you said, devilishly placing your hand on his thigh.
The nervous in Minho smelled faint now, with his hot gaze never leaving your body. He was looking you up and down like some nude magazine and you were loving it.
“Can I be honest?” he said raising an eyebrow. All scent of Minho left the room, that sweet smell you came to love just left and was replaced with something else. What, you couldn't put your finger on but it smelled good.
“Honesty is the best in a relationship right? No matter the context.”
Minho grabbed your hand and began tracing small circles on your palm, delicately his skin brushed against yours, as he continued.
“I want you,” he said, leaning in so close his nose almost touched you. “I want to touch you, smell you, be with you, and quite frankly be in you. You have to feel something or you wouldn't have invited me over tonight, right?”
He tilted his head like he was asking a question, he obviously knew the answer to and you knew just how to respond.
“Challenge complete Minho,” you said looking down with a smirk at the bulge that was now forming in his pants.
Minho didn't mind your words or expression, almost as if he couldn't hear you. He scooted closer and placed his hand on your neck, pulling you closer to him.
“Just relax,” he said kissing you and passionately slipping his tongue in for a taste.
You let yourself fall deeper into Minho and his seductive kiss, even though you were the Alpha, you just wanted to be touched and Minho obliged.
Sliding his hand down, he flipped your skirt up and rubbed his knuckle into your clothed cunt, deep enough to be wet with your slick.
“Fuck your already wet for me huh, such a good girl,” you moaned into his mouth, as he slid your panties to the side and dipped two fingers in, stretching you open in preparation for his cock.
Slowly you rocked your hips, grinding your clit into Minho's hand as you became desperate for friction. “Want me, want my cock in your wet pussy do ya?” he asked, putting your hand in his pants. You wrapped your fingers around his hard shaft and muttered a soft “please” in his ear.
Your whispers sent shivers down Minho’s spine, as you slowly pumped his penis that was now leaking with precum.
“Wanna fill me up?” you whispered, licking his ear trying to entice him. Quickly you learned you didn't need to.
Low growls started pouring out of Minho as he laid your head down on the couch and swiftly whipped his cock out of his pants.
He hoisted your legs up and lined his tip up with your soaking hole. The sight of Minho’s veiny cock, hard and twitching just for you, was enough to send you over the edge right there, until he pushed in.
Putting his hands on either side of you for support he pushed in hard, wasting no time trying to cum in your tight cunt.
You never had sex with an Omega before but knew, none would compare to Minho. His penis made your back arch with each deep thrust and your nails dug into the fabric of his sweater when he would drag it slowly against your spot.
The soft squelching of your slick and his cum churning in your vagina filled the room, making it feel dirtier and sexier while he fucked you.
With each fast slap of Minho’s balls against your ass was another slap of his necklace in your face, tickling you on the nose and earning a smile, despite being fucked roughly by an Omega.
Your room now smelled of sex and his soft spicy scent. No matter how much you cleaned you knew the smell would never leave, especially now with his cum dripping down your ass and onto the fabric of your couch cushion.
~
You felt your orgasm crash over you as Minho’s thrusts became sloppy and your cunt even sloppier, walls fluttering and clenching around Minho.
“Fuck your so tight, can't hold on.”
His big knot stretched your hole and soon made it impossible for Minho to move any further. For an Omega, he surely had a big penis, perhaps his confidence and arrogance came from there you thought, as you were looking him in the eyes, stuck but very much where you wanted to be at that moment.
“You're so pretty,” he said placing a soft kiss on your cheek, his sweat making his dewy skin stick to yours.
“Don’t say something you don't mean Minho, it’s fine if you just wanted to fuck the Alpha of the school” you said, hoping he would correct you, hoping he would say your wrong and that he really did love you.
You swallowed your spit hard, when he spoke again.
“Don’t put words in my mouth, I really do think you're pretty and I want you to be mine.” He stared you straight in the face with his cute earnest eyes, intimidating you whilst somehow still comforting you, a mix of emotions you've never felt before, like smells that didn't match. The only thing you could blame it on was his big soft sweater against your skin as he wrapped his arms around you.
“I think you've made me yours Minho,” you said motioning to where the two of you were still connected.
“You know what I mean,” he said rolling his eyes. Leaning up you chased him into another kiss, sloppy and wet, both your lips now swollen and red from all the desperate kissing that happened just a minute ago.
“You know, for an Omega you have a great penis.”
Minho looked at you with a cute toothy smirk and pretended to whip a piece of his hair out of his face.
“You know, when I'm rutting my knot is way bigger. You plan on taking that in your tiny pussy?”
“Of course Minho, challenge accepted.”

“And then Mr. Kim mansplained why doing the project earlier was more beneficial.” Minho sighed, closing his eyes at the memory, though mostly to help ease the tension in his eyes from staring at the glowing screen in front of him. Though he didn’t keep them closed for long, not wanting to miss a moment of seeing Chan’s beautiful face. It was hard for them to get time to talk like this. Even if Chan was only a few more hours ahead of him in time zones, they both lead pretty busy lives. So Minho was greedy when it came to his time with his boyfriend.
“And what could he have possibly explained -”
“Mansplained.” Minho corrected and Chan rolled his eyes lovingly at the other.
“You’re a man too, babe.”
Snorting, Minho crossed his arms, glaring at Chan as hard as he could, though judging by the laughter, he probably came off more of like a cute kitten as Chan has often told him. “It’s the principal of it, Channie. He was talking down to me like I was some helpless omega.” he scoffed. “I wouldn’t put it past him to be the type of person that still believes an omega’s place is in the home, caring for twenty litters of pups.”
“Twenty - oh my god.” Chan choked. “That’s an excessive amount of pups, don’t you think?” he asked, eyeing the screen warily.
“Of course not!” Minho grinned as he leaned in closer, eyes locking on the camera lens. “Don’t you want to have a big family with me, Channie?” This time he was pouting and perhaps laying it on a little thick. Though it was worth it as he watched Chan’s cheeks heat up, despite the graininess of the video call. Even Chan’s HD camera was no match for Skype’s shit quality. “Hmm?”
“Of course I do, Minho.” Chan cleared his throat. “But twenty is definitely too many pups to have. We’d be eaten out of house and home.” Well, Chan did have a point about that. Okay, maybe they wouldn’t have that many pups, but they would at least have one and that thought alone pleased his wolf in ways that Minho really didn’t want to acknowledge. He wasn’t the type that liked to rely on his instincts and be the “typical” omega type. But there was something about Chan that had him wanting to do all the homely things that many associated with his second gender. He wanted to provide a wonderful home and family for his alpha.
“You win this round, Mr. Bang.” he teased as he sat back in his chair. “But just so you know, this war isn’t over.” He giggled, beaming when Chan laughed as well. He loved the way Chan laughed - how his shoulders shook and eyes turned into crescents. And his dimples were always on display when he laughed. They were possibly Minho’s favorite part of Chan’s body. Their happy little bubble burst when Chan’s alarm went off, startling them both. Minho watched with sad eyes as he picked it up and turned off the annoying sound before looking back at him.
“I have to go.” He whispered.
“I know.” Minho could feel the sadness radiating off of Chan through the computer and he was sure it was the same for the other. Ending their calls was always the worst, but they couldn’t stay on video all the time, as much as Minho liked to argue. Even with all his cunning ideas, it still wouldn’t work out, but he gave it a valiant effort every time. “I miss you.” He could feel the heat dusting his cheeks, but decided to ignore it. He hadn’t meant to say that out loud, but it was too late to take back the words. Not that he was lying or anything. He really did miss Chan, even with him right in front of him like this.
“I miss you too, Minnie.” Minho’s heart fluttered, chest swelling with an emotion he had felt so many times that it could only be love. That or it was heartburn and he still hadn’t deciphered which it was yet. “I love you.”
Minho scrunched up his face, looking away to avoid making a fool of himself. He wanted to giggle, or coo or flail about. Every time Chan said those words, he had such a visceral reaction that he just couldn’t handle himself. “I love you too…I guess.” he shrugged, hoping his voice sounded as indifferent as he wanted it to be.
“I would hope, you’re kinda stuck with me for life.” Chan lifted his right wrist, his fingers grazing over the mark and watching it glow a beautiful golden yellow. Looking down his left wrist, Minho watched as his own mark glowed, reacting to his soulmate, even though they were miles apart.
“Wouldn’t have it any other way.” He whispered, lifting his eyes back to the screen. “You should go. Text me when you get home.”
“Always.” Chan grinned. “Remember to eat today.” Chan’s set him with a stern gaze.
“I will.” He probably wouldn’t, especially if he got wrapped up in the choreography for his upcoming dance evaluation. But Chan didn’t need to know that, right now at least.
“Good. Talk to you later, baby.”
“Bye.” Minho always refused to be the one to end the call, and he silently hoped each and every time that Chan wouldn’t end the call either. But just like all the previous times, the call ended and Minho was left in nothing but the static silence of his bedroom - feeling alone. His wolf howled in agony, the dramatic little thing because he knew it wasn’t the end of their relationship. Chan would text like always, Minho was sure of that, but trying to convince his wolf of that was like talking to a brick wall.
So Minho resigned himself to his daily cycle of sadness and forced himself out of his chair to go and get ready for dance practice. At least if he was doing something, he wouldn’t notice the sadness as much.
------
Felix stared worriedly as Minho paced the floor of their practice room. He looked flushed and agitated and if it wasn’t for the thick Eucalyptus scent wafting from the other, Felix would have been inclined to believe that Minho was sick.
He felt that way. Minho felt absolutely nauseated- wrought with worry because Chan had stopped answering his calls and texts. Minho would be understanding if it had been a one time occurance, or if Chan called him back, but he didn’t. For the past couple of days, no matter what Minho did, Chan never answered. His read receipts were suddenly turned off as well as his location services. Every phone call would ring twice before going straight to voicemail and Chan’s status on Skype was always offline.
It’s like the man just disappeared off the face of the Earth! How was that even possible? For a popular and good looking alpha like chan to just go missing?
Minho froze in his tracks as a horrendous thought crossed his mind. What if Chan was cheating on him?
He snorted to himself. No, not Chan. He was as loyal as one person could possibly be and not a mean bone in his body. He wouldn’t cheat.
But…
It was the only explanation for the sudden behavior change. It all made sense if he thought about it. And it’s not like he could blame Chan. They were separated by miles of land and ocean, and at least two if not three time zones. They’ve only ever seen each other through video calls. Their relationship was the epitome of long-distance.
“Hyung.”
What if Chan had met someone else? Someone prettier and better? More willing to bend to the stereotypical behavior of an omega? Someone who didn’t sass back as much as Minho did. Who expressed themselves better than Minho ever could? Someone who was within arms reach that Chan could touch and hold and kiss and…mate with.
“Hyung?”
What if Chan had met a better mate and was getting ready to break their soulmate bond?
“Minho hyung!”
Jerking back at the touch to his cheek, Minho blinked rapidly, clearing the tears blurring his vision. Since when had he started crying? Frowning, he reached out and wiped the tears aways with a little more aggression than necessary. Stupid tears. Stupid emotions. Stupid Chan!
“Minho hyung, what’s wrong?” Minho knew Felix had been standing there, but it wasn’t until that moment that he actually registered his presence fully. The younger beta was staring at him with such worried eyes that Minho wanted to cower from the gaze. He didn’t want to feel like a burden.
“Nothing.” He spat and immediately regretted his words at the forlorn expression tossed his way and was quick to apologize. “I’m sorry.”
“It’s okay hyung.” Felix whispered, eyes shaking with emotion. “But something is wrong.” He stated firmly. “You can tell me, I want to try and help.”
Minho took a few shuddering breaths, trying to calm himself down because he certainly didn’t want to snap at Felix again. He really was only trying to help. And it’s not like he put these horrible thoughts in Minho’s brain. No, Minho only had himself to blame (and Chan). “It’s really nothing.” He tried to assure, but faltered. “Actually…Chan stopped texting me and answering my calls.” He said slowly. “Did he mention anything to you about…anything really?”
There was a look of realization that crossed Felix’s features only to be quickly replaced by a look of deliberation. Minho squinted at him, poking his side a few times.
“Felix…what do you know?”
“Huh? Um, well…” the way Felix trailed off was a bit suspicious, like he was trying to think up an excuse. “I remember him saying something about a deadline and you know Channie hyung gets when he’s composing.”
Oh yes, Minho knew first hand how wrapped up in his work Chan could get. But even when focused on his work, Chan would always call him back when he was done. This wasn’t normal working Chan behavior. But the fact that Felix didn’t seem worried did help to put the Omega’s worries at ease. If only slightly.
“I guess.” He muttered, heaving another sigh. Reaching up, he rubbed his cheeks, taking note of how hot they were, but that was to be expected. He was still pretty worked up. “Whatever. Let’s just start practice.”
“You sure hyung?”
“Yeah.” Turning, Minho headed over to the counter and started the music, effectively ending all conversations.
——
Minho really should have listened to his body more. Despite the fact that he had been hot during practice, he had told himself at the time that it was just because he was upset. And that wasn’t a lie. He had been upset and was still upset, even days later. It was going on a week and half since he last heard from Chan and no matter how hard he pressed Felix, the younger Australian had no information about his older cousin. And that only added to the stress and worry and negative thoughts. But even all that couldn’t explain how hot he was becoming. He should have realized days ago that this was a sign his heat was coming, but Minho was so wrapped up in the “cheating” scandal he had fabricated in his mind that he lapsed in caring for himself.
Now he lay prone on his bed - a naked, panting mess that absolutely refused to do anything to help ease the pain. And why would he when the one thing - one person that helped him through his heats was missing in action. Over the three years that Minho knew Chan, the other had always been there for him, talking him through each orgasm until they were both a trembling, sticky mess on a video screen. Not the ideal way Minho wanted to be with Chan, but he would take anything and everything he could get.
But his alpha was gone and he was in pain. It was like his body knew Chan wasn’t there and was rebelling against him like it was Minho’s fault. His wolf was antsy, howling and searching for that connection, but in his heat induced delirium, he couldn’t find it. Had Minho had a better grip on his thoughts, he would have known their bond wasn’t broken if he only touched his mark. But as it was, he could barely remember his own name as he writhed and curled up into a ball as another cramp claimed him. A harsh sob wretched itself from his throat and all he could think about was just wishing for the heat to end.
A sudden knock to his door pulled Minho out of his spiraling thoughts, the fog momentarily lifting as he tried his hardest to process what had just happened. Another knock sounded shortly after, leaving Minho confused. Who would be at his apartment now of all times? He had already called off work, put in his absences with his professors and told his friends he would be out of commission for the next week. Everyone who needed to know he was going through his heat, knew, so they wouldn’t be coming to his apartment. At least he hoped not. It would be highly unprofessional if his boss or professors decided to pay him a visit. And while the thought of a teacher-student or boss-employee relationship was appealing, the only person he wanted in that authoritative role was Chan.
But Chan wasn’t there. He was probably off screwing some omega and starting his happy life while Minho laid there suffering. Begging and pleading for a higher power to bring Chan back to him. He absolutely hated this.
Another knock and Minho snapped. He pushed through the pain of the cramps, forcing himself up and out of his bed. The thought of putting on clothes sickened him, body too overheated to be confined, but he knew he couldn’t answer the door naked. Well he could, but the resulting consequence that may happen far outweighed and won over the need to be comfortable. So Minho pulled on his pajama pants and left the safety of his bedroom. The once stale air of the house came alive with a mixture of mint and eucalyptus as Minho made his way to the front door. As he reached it, another knock sounded and without so much as a care of who could be on the other side, Minho yanked the door open harshly.
“What the fuck-” he stopped mid sentence, eyes widening as he took in the body before him. “C-Chan?” There stood a very sheepishly looking alpha. His normally styled hair, now just a heap of messy black curls. There was not a lick of makeup on his face and if Minho squinted hard enough, he could make out the very light dusting of freckles along his cheeks, just like Chan had always said he had. It was a family thing, though Felix had been more blessed in that area with a whole galaxy of freckles covering his face. He was adorned in all black, but that wasn’t something unusual as it seemed to be Chan’s favorite color.
“Hey, Minho.” He said, voice barely a whisper as he looked Minho over slowly. Minho watched the way his pupils seemed to dilate, steadily growing blacker the longer he looked at him. He felt so vulnerable under the gaze, yet desired, especially as Chan’s tongue swiped across his lips. As Chan dragged his eyes back up, he seemed to come back to himself, the tips of his ears turning a beautiful shade of red as he held out his hand, thrusting a bouquet of red and purple Baby’s Breath towards him.
Minho was stunned, blinking rapidly as he tried to formulate some sort of coherent sentence that wouldn’t sound dumb, but everything he came up with always fell flat. He wanted to interrogate Chan on where he had been and why he hadn’t been answering his calls and texts. Another part of him wanted to ask why he was even there. In the end, he settled on probably the safest topic as he took the offered bouquet. “You remembered.”
“Of course I did. I remember everything you tell me.” Chan chuckled softly before clearing his throat. “Except for when your heat is supposed to hit.” Minho tore his eyes away from the flowers to glare at Chan, the alpha gulping in response.
“You would have known if you had answered my calls!” he snapped. “Where the hell have you been?! Do you know how worried I was? What’s her name?”
“Huh? What?” Chan was taken aback by the angry outburst.
“What’s her name?”
“Who?”
“Don’t play dumb with me, Bang Chan. You went off the grid for over a week and you don’t think I wouldn’t know that you’re cheating on me?” he growled. “I never would have thought you would be such a no good, low down alpha to-to do this!” Minho was angry, his scent spiking exponentially. Unfortunately it wasn’t its usual sour scent. Nothing could mask the smell of his heat and the more worked up Minho became, the more potent and thick the scent filled the air.
“Baby, I don’t think this is the best place for this. Your heat.”
“This is the best place for this!” Minho snapped at him. “You have some fucking audacity to show up at my door step -” Minho paused, brows knitting together as he stared at Chan before looking around the empty apartment hallway behind him. “How did you know where I live?”
“Felix.”
“Felix?” Minho huffed and crossed his arms over his bare chest. “I knew he knew something.”
Chan laughed, though Minho was not amused. “Yeah, he knew. I had been planning this for months.”
“You had been planning to cheat on me for months?”
“What? No!” Chan groaned and rubbed the back of his neck in frustration. “Baby I’m not cheating on you. I was planning to surprise you by visiting.”
“Surprise me? By visiting?” he parroted as if repeating the words would help him understand better. “So you turned off read receipts, turned off your location services and stopped answering my calls and texts because you were coming to visit me?”
“Yes.” Chan nodded quickly. “Surprise! Happy Valentine’s day.”
“Valentine’s…” Minho trailed off, thoughts racing a mile a minute - each train of thought getting lost in the fog of his heat as the inferno grew stronger. This was crazy, ludicrous even but made more sense than Chan cheating on him. “Oh my god.” he whispered.
“Yeah, so then. Can I come in?”
Minho stared blankly at him before stepping back quickly. “Yes, come in, come in.” he ushered the other in. “Don’t mind the mess, I didn’t have time to clean. Been lost in my-”
“Heat. Yeah, I know.” Chan chuckled. “The whole building probably knows now.” Minho flushed as he closed the door quickly and locked it, sliding the chain for extra protection because Chan was indeed right. The whole building probably could smell him now and he didn’t need an unwanted alpha or beta to try and force their way into his home just because he smelled so alluring.
“Probably.” he muttered as he leaned back against the door, staring at Chan. “ I still can’t believe you’re here. I thought…I was so stupid.” Shaking his head, he gave a small laugh. “You were just coming to visit me. I swear to god Channie.” Chan chuckled as he stepped closer to him and gently pulled Minho into his arms - cradling him so carefully it was like he was made out of glass. And maybe he was. Minho certainly felt delicate enough at the moment. His body was in turmoil; hormones raging as he felt like he was burning alive while simultaneously being stabbed to death. The cramps were no joke.
But for a moment, Minho’s mind was cleared of all thoughts of his heat. This was the first time Chan was holding him, touching him. Minho had waited for this moment for too long. Had dreamt of this very moment more times than he could count and yet he never thought it would happen so soon - so unexpectedly. His heart skipped a beat, racing in his chest as he snuggled into Chan’s embrace, resting his head on the other’s shoulder. “Channie,” he whispered.
“Yes, love?” Minho’s fingers curled in Chan’s shirt, clutching the fabric tightly as he nuzzled into his neck.
“I’m sorry.”
“It’s okay. I probably would have thought the same thing, honestly.” Chan placed a gentle kiss on the top of Minho’s head. “I love you Minho.”
“Love you more.”
Chan hummed softly, running his fingers through Minho’s hair. It felt so nice and soothing. And for the first time in a while, Minho felt complete. “How about we go and take care of your heat, hmm?” Minho could only nod eagerly, letting himself be dragged off to his bedroom.

Title: Emergency Stop
12 Hours Earlier
Chan sighs heavily and leans back in his chair, spinning a few aimless circles as he lets his gaze wander across the tiled ceiling of the student studio.
He listens to the sound of fingers clicking across keyboards, the quiet hum of equipment, and then announces finally, to no one in particular, just to get it off his chest, “I think she’s avoiding me.” Hongjoong pulls his headphones off his ears, letting them drop down around his neck, as he turns from his current project to stare at Chan in exasperation, one dark brow arched.
“I think that’s a little dramatic, mate.”
“Wellllllll-” Changbin hems from the other side of the room, a grimace going across his features, as he swivels in his chair to face them, not quite meeting Chan’s gaze.
Chan bolts upright, his voice loud with triumph. “Ah ha! I knew it!”
“Oh my goood.” Hongjoong groans, scrubbing at his face with his hands, before he must decide that they’re not worth the trouble, turning back to his computer and pulling his headphones back up- on both ears this time.
Changbin’s lips twist to the side in an obvious guilt ridden expression, his dark eyes finally meeting Chan’s.
Chan feels his stomach drop as he regards his best friend and packmate’s worry.
“What?” He asks, suddenly breathless, leaning forward in the office chair, his alpha suddenly on high alert. “What did I do? How did I fuck it up? You gotta tell me how to fix it, Bin, it’s fucking with my head.”
Changbin reaches up to rub at the back of his neck, Chan recognizes the nervous gesture, and clears his throat, his eyes darting around the room, as if trying to focus on anything except the man in front of him.
“You didn’t do anything, hyung. I swear to god, but I can’t tell you anything else, because (Y/N) will fucking eat me alive.”
“She is pretty fucking scary.” Hongjoong chimes in once more, glancing over his shoulder at Chan, his fingers paused on the mouse. “Almost in Seonghwa’s league. Almost.”
Chan glances back to Changbin, who is nodding avidly along in agreement with what the other alpha is saying.
Chan’s alpha is growling at his mate’s resistance, at the way he’s holding back, even if he knows how to fix this whole mess, but he takes in a deep, steadying breath, and clamps his hands in his lap, willing the angry wolf back down.
“Bin.” He tries again, glancing back to the other man, his voice steady, calm, imploring. “You gotta tell me something. If I don’t know what’s wrong, I can’t fix it, and I’m going crazy over here.” Changbin’s chest heaves with a sigh, and then he swallows, Chan watches the way his Adam's apple bobs, as he looks up to the ceiling, as if for some form of silent approval.
Finally, he sighs again, audibly this time, and rakes a hand agitatedly through his dark hair.
“Fine.”
Chan feels his entire body tense, waiting on what comes next.
He can sense a headache starting to pound to life behind his left eye.
He doesn’t know if it’s because of the current situation, or because he hasn’t really seen you much over the last week, and his alpha is taking direct note of the loss of contact.
Changbin shakes his head slightly to himself, as if he can’t believe what he’s going to say, going to reveal, and then he grits out, “She’s worried about something she said.”
Chan’s mind races, going over every tiny interaction the two of you have had in the last week and a half.
Nothing significant comes to mind.
“What?” He asks, puzzled, as if Changbin can reveal the clues to him.
Instead, the other alpha gives a half hearted shrug.
“I dunno, hyung. She wouldn’t tell me anything besides that. I’m sorry, man.”
Chan shakes his head, still analyzing every time you’ve spoken, or interacted, since he saw you during Jeongin’s heat.
Honestly, it wasn’t much, considering you’d been avoiding him at all costs.
He manages a weak grin, and stands, walking over to pat Changbin on the back.
“Nah, it’s fine, mate. Thanks for telling me that much. I’ll figure it out.”
Changbin glances up at him, expression unreadable, and gives a curt nod, already reaching for his headphones again.
“She feels things really fucking deeply. Deeper than the rest of us. Sometimes she just needs a little space to figure it out. But she cares about you, hyung. A lot. She wouldn’t be this fucking worried if she didn’t.”
Chan grips his shoulder a little tighter, a silent sign of acknowledgement, and goes back to his own work station.
He knows Changbin’s right. Knows he speaks from experience.
So why is his stomach still in knots?
*******
Fuck.
Your eyes dart around the small kitchen, helplessly looking for an escape route, before they settle on the two men sitting at the table, staring you down.
You clear your throat, and try to work up an easy smile.
“You were talking about me? I’m flattered Min.”
Minho’s smirk widens, growing sharp and dangerous, as if he knows exactly what you’re trying to do.
You’re sure he does.
He pats the chair beside him, in the middle of he and Chan.
“Have a seat.”
You can’t think of literally anything worse in this moment, your skin already hot underneath Chan’s stare, your fingers itching at your side, your alpha begging you to please get the fuck out of here already.
You take a step backward, back toward the safety of the hallway.
“That’s okay, I actually was just leaving to go on a run.”
Minho’s brow arches a little higher.
“At eleven PM?”
There is amusement in his tone, as if he knows he’s caught you in an outright lie.
You give a little shrug, and take another step toward the door.
“I do my best running at night. Must be the wolf in me.”
You don’t dare look at Chan, not when he’s right here, staring at you, expression unreadable. He hasn’t said one word since you entered the room, and you can practically feel your body withering from the shame of his heavy gaze.
It’s like he can see right through you, and you need to get out of here, right now.
“Anyway-” You’re halfway into the hallway now, the front door, your shining savior, within sight. You give the men a little wave and another unconvincing, weak smile. “-gotta go. Have fun.”
You dart for the front door, nearly bowling an emerging Jisung over, sending his popcorn flying.
“Hey!” He protests with a glare in your direction, but you don’t stop, tugging on your sneakers with record speed, before you barrel out the door of the apartment.
“Sorry, Jisungie!” You call over your shoulder, because you are, but honestly, in times of crisis-
You can breathe easier out here, in the quiet darkness of the dorm hallway, even though you’re still practically jogging, headed directly for the elevator.
You’re making a beeline for your dorm a few floors down, and you’re staying locked up in there until Chan decides to leave.
Well, not leave, because he lives here too, but at least until he decides to go back to his own kitchen and stop talking to Minho about whatever the hell they were discussing.
You slide through the gap of the doors in the elevator before they’re fully open, and pound the second floor button a few more times than necessary, catching your breath as you wait for the doors to close.
They’re almost down to a sliver, and you think you’ve gotten away with your hasty escape, when an arm shoots through, bouncing them back open, and Chan steps into view.
Immediately, the breath you’ve just regained leaves your body, as he joins you in the elevator, the doors hissing shut quietly behind him.
There’s silence, the space suddenly feeling smaller than normal, as you stare him down warily from your corner.
“What-” You start to say, in an attempt at least to fill the uncomfortable quiet, but Chan beats you to it.
“Why are you avoiding me?” He demands, dark eyes flashing, as the elevator jolts into motion.
You brace yourself against the wall, your mouth dropping open at his serious, commanding tone.
“I’m not avoiding you-” You start to protest weakly, the lie sounding unconvincing to even your own ears.
“Bullshit” Chan cuts you off once more with a growl, taking a menacing step toward you, and suddenly, you know, you’re not dealing with Christopher Bang any longer, you’re dealing with his alpha.
His irrational, incredibly pissed off and slighted alpha.
Fuck.
The elevator feels tiny now, saturated with the scent of thunder, and you swallow hard, your own alpha flattening its ears in response.
The sound of a ding signals the arrival of the next floor, and before you can make a move to do something, anything, Chan reaches behind him without a glance, and slams his palm down over the emergency stop button.
The elevator grinds to a sudden halt with an eerie shriek of gears, and then there is silence, all movement ceased.
Your mouth falls open once more, but you feel your own anger flare to life in the pit of your stomach, rising to meet his.
“Chan, what the fuck do you think you’re doing-”
He stalks toward you, and you shrink back into the corner, the cool metal of the hand bar digging into your back.
“Exactly what I should’ve done when this whole nonsense started.” He growls, caging you in as he puts his hands on either side of your head, fingers digging into the slick, cool brushed metal of the elevator’s walls as he glares down at you.
You’re choking on the storm now, your heart pounding against the wall of your ribs.
But you hold your ground regardless, lifting your head as defiance flashes across your gaze, and frost starts to crackle outward from you, freezing the storm.
“Oh? And what’s that? Emergency stop an elevator in a little temper tantrum?”
His dark eyes flash, and a muscle ticks in his jaw, but his voice is steady when he responds.
“If I have to trap you in a room with me to get you to talk over things like an adult, like my mate, then yes.”
You scoff, looking away from his burning gaze.
“There’s nothing to talk about.”
“That’s not what Changbin said.”
Your head jerks up, your angry gaze meeting his.
“Fuck Changbin.”
“I do, and I enjoy it.” Chan fires right back without missing a beat, crowding you into the corner further, his scowl deepening. “But that’s not what we’re here to talk about, is it?”
“I’m not. Avoiding you.” You grind out through gritted teeth, your jaw clicking with the immense pressure of keeping your rage back.
It’s a blatant lie, and you both know it.
Chan’s eyes darken, dripping golden around the pupils now, and when he parts his lips, his teeth flash in what’s almost a snarl, dangerous and threatening.
You can practically feel his alpha’s teeth poised warningly over your exposed throat.
You don’t think you’ve ever seen him this angry before.
“You think-” He begins, and his voice has dropped dangerously, a menacing growl in the back of his throat, a rumble in his chest. “-that even if I was stupid enough not to notice, he wouldn’t?”
Your lips part, ready to spit something back, but something about his words ring true in the hollow pit of your stomach.
He’s right. You could avoid him all you wanted, but your alpha, and his, would know. They were the ones who were suffering because of the distance, keening for their mates.
Fuck, if it was hell for the two of you, it was fucking torture for them.
Chan’s gaze hasn’t wavered from your own, not once, and when he speaks again, his words are just above a murmur, and you don’t miss the way his breath trembles on his next inhale.
“I can’t fucking sleep, (Y/N.) I can’t eat, I can’t study, I can’t produce, I can’t do anything, because every single waking moment is spent trying to figure out what I did wrong and how to fix it.”
You feel guilt drop like a hot pound of lead into the pit of your stomach.
You lean your head back on the wall behind you, and meet his gaze head on, your voice quiet, but steady, when you reply back, “It wasn’t anything you did.”
Confusion starts to pool into his expression, easing some of the anger, and you feel your own fury start to melt away like sand with the tide, leaving your body tired and heavy.
“Then why?” He questions back, gaze boring into your own.
You sigh, and glance behind him to the still blinking emergency stop button, wondering how much time you have before someone notices the elevator hasn’t moved and calls the fire department to rescue the two of you.
That’s all you need right now. Better hurry this up.
“I said something.” You announce without preamble, shifting your gaze to meet his own once more, sudden fear rising like bile in your throat. You force through the feeling, and swallow hard. “The day you asked me for help during Jeongin’s presentation.” Chan watches you closely, silently, and you give a little shrug and half a laugh-it’s awkward, and fleeting, and leaves the space in between you feeling heavier than before.
“And I wasn’t sure if what I’d said-what I’d admitted-made you feel weird. I was scared I’d messed shit up, and I wanted to give you space to deal, if that was the case.”
Chan cocks his head-the motion is endearing, like a puppy-and you resist the urge to reach up and push some of the curls back off his forehead with your fingers.
Confusion is clear on every inch of his features now.
“What did you-” He starts to ask, and then something clicks behind his expression, his eyes going wide and his jaw going slack. “Oh, you mean the love thing.” “Oh my god.” You groan, covering your face with your hands, already feeling your cheeks heat up. “Do we have to call it that?”
When you peek back through your fingers, Chan is smiling, his lips pulled crookedly to one side, the gold fading slowly from his gaze.
“That’s why you were avoiding me? You were worried about that?”
“Yes!” You shriek,a little bit louder than necessary, and Chan’s grin widens even more. “I mean, that’s a fuck of a thing to announce to someone out of the blue, when they’re already dealing with a ton of shit and I didn’t know how you’d take it.”
Chan tilts his head, regarding you. “But you’ve already told me you love me. Once before. Remember?”
You stare at him like he’s just grown another head, and then it clicks.
“That didn’t count!” You cough out, choking on your own spit, waving your hands wildly as you try to regain your breath. “That was like a post fuck thing, I was feeling sappy, I just threw it out there to everyone in general, you guys had just saved me and given me the best orgasm of my life and it wasn’t-” “True?” Chan finishes for you, though there’s no hurt on his face, only slight amusement.
“No!” You protest, growing angry again as you grow more flustered by the second. “It was true, it just wasn’t so-”
“Direct?” Chan tries once again, watching you closely.
“Yeah.” You finish helplessly, your shoulders slumping.
Chan gives a little laugh, and slides one of his large hands down the elevator wall to grip your chin in his fingers, raising your embarrassed gaze to his once more.
His expression softens, the corners of his mouth settling into an affectionate smile, as you struggle a little and try to resist his gaze.
“Baby. Look at me.”
You finally do as he says, reluctantly meeting his eyes, and he arches a brow at you.
The air between you is heavy with ice and storm, but it doesn’t feel so oppressive now.
In fact, the headache you’ve been battling all week seems to be miraculously gone.
Chan’s lips twitch, and you huff at him a little, folding your arms across your chest at his obvious amusement in your sheepishness.
“Listen. If it hasn’t been incredibly fucking clear since the first time I met you that I’m head over heels for you, then I must not be doing enough to prove it to you.”
Your own lips twitch into the hint of a smile then, and you begrudgingly uncross your arms from your chest.
“No, you’re doing enough. Trust me. Following me around like a little lost puppy when I openly hated your guts for the first couple of weeks definitely sold it.”
Chan laughs, and the sound sends warmth cascading down your body.
Your tired muscles feel a little more manageable now.
Chan leans in, and rests his forehead against yours.
You take a moment to breathe him in, and then he murmurs, breath warm on your face, “Now, say it again, but don’t run away this time.”
You smirk, keeping your eyes closed as you whisper back, “There’s not really anywhere for me to go. You saw to that.”
He chuckles, breath fanning across your skin, but doesn’t move to pull away.
You take in a deep breath, and let your hands skim up the warm length of his arms, letting your fingers take him in for a moment, before you breathe out, “I love you, Christopher Bang. Even though I hated your guts, and fucked up a couple of huge things, and you trapped me in an elevator with you-twice, I might add, against my will-I love you, and I don’t think that’s ever not been true.”
Chan opens his eyes, and you stare into the golden flecks of his irises, before he pulls back, and his lips curve into the start of a smirk.
“Now, was that so hard?”
You swing an arm out and hit him lightly in the chest, giving him a fake glare.
“Say it back.”
He grins, and leans in, caging you with his forearms once more against the cool metal behind your head, his nose brushing your own.
“I fucking love you, (Y/N), I always have. Even when you hated my guts. In fact, in retrospect, I think that made me love you even more.”
You giggle, and Chan covers your mouth with his without warning, swallowing the sound.
You let your hands trace up his back and into his hair, fingers tangling in his curls, as he flicks his tongue between the seam of your lips and into your waiting mouth.
The sharp points of his canines graze and tug at your bottom lip, and you moan, breaking the kiss as you let your head fall back to the wall behind you, breathing heavily, as Chan presses kisses down your jaw, the column of your throat, tickling and teasing your skin as he nibbles your collarbone, traces your scent gland with his tongue.
“They’re gonna send the fire department after us, you know.” You gasp out, gaze flicking beyond him once more to the flashing button on the wall, as he drops to his knees in front of you, fingers finding your hip bones.
Chan looks up at you, lips red and kiss bitten, a grin stretching the pink skin over white teeth.
He arches a brow.
“Lucky for you, baby, they’re not incredibly known for their fast response time, and I’m a fairly quick worker.”
You reach out a hand to stop him as he reaches for the closure of your pants, and when he looks up at you in confusion, your lips lift into a smirk.
“What if I told you I wanted to take my time?”
His lips slowly lift into a wicked grin of his own.
“I think we can make that happen.”
********
Your apartment is closer than Chan’s (by one floor, but hey, a floor is a floor), so after apologizing to some severely annoyed alphas who were waiting on the stalled elevator, you push through your front door and Chan doesn’t wait a second before he pounces.
He backs you against the wall of the hallway, his hands dropping to your waist once more, his mouth already on yours.
His tongue swipes around the inside of your mouth, and you groan into him. “About that taking our time thing-”
Chan chuckles huskily, the sound going right to your core, and if you weren’t already incredibly wet before, you sure as hell are now.
There’s a quiet sound behind the two of you and you freeze, leaning up to glance over Chan’s shoulder, suddenly on full alert.
“Jeongin?”
Chan follows your gaze, your mouth open in shock, to the omega standing beside the front door, waving sheepishly to the two of you, his cheeks almost as red as his hair.
“Hey, noona.”
You slip out beneath Chan’s arm and approach him, surprise clearly etched across your face.
“What are you doing here?”
“I was waiting for you.” Jeongin gives a little shrug, but he won’t meet your eyes, embarrassment clear on his pretty features. “You said later earlier and I thought-”
Oh. Fuck.
You let out a sigh, suddenly feeling more than a little remorseful. “Sorry, Innie. I was hanging out at Minho’s and then Chan was there-”
Jeongin glances down, scuffing his shoe into the worn carpet. “No, it’s fine, noona. I was just gonna sneak out when I heard the two of you, but I should’ve known I had no chance when up against a wolf’s hearing.”
His hand reaches for the doorknob, and without thinking, you reach out and stop him.
“Wait-” You swallow, his large, dark eyes flicking to you in surprise. “I mean. You can join us? If you want?”
Jeongin stares at you, his pupils huge.
“What?” Chan approaches, his hand going on your shoulder as he addresses Jeongin. “Yeah, Innie. It’s up to you, but we don’t mind-”
You notice the way Chan reaches up to rub his neck as he speaks, as if he’s just as nervous over this as Jeongin is.
“Don’t feel any pressure.” You hurry to reassure the omega standing in front of you. “I know you don’t have much experience, and one alpha on a good day is a lot, so if this is too overwhelming-”
Jeongin bites his lip and glances between the two of you. Finally, he says hesitantly, voice barely above a whisper, “I think I’d like that. But-” He takes in a nervous breath. “Can I just watch for a little bit first? Would that be okay?”
You smirk. “Oh, so you’re one of those?”
Jeongin instantly flushes, and you rush to reassure him you were only teasing, looping an arm around his shoulders as you lead him back toward your room, Chan following on your heels.
“I’m just kidding, baby. There’s nothing wrong with a little voyeurism. Minho loves to watch.”
“He also loves to boss.” Chan says with a slight smirk, as he steps ahead of you and pushes open the closed door, allowing you both to pass first into the room.
“That he does.” You laugh a little, and then turn to Jeongin. “Okay, pup. Pick your poison.”
Jeongin glances around, clearly still a little shy given the circumstances, and then he settles into the desk chair in the corner of your room, opposite the bed. He pulls his knees up to his chest and nods. “Okay. Just pretend I’m not here.”
Chan has come to stand against your back, tickling his fingers up and down your spine, brushing his nose across the juncture of your throat, and at Jeongin’s words, he groans, and you feel him press into you from behind. He’s still clearly worked up from before, the momentary pause hasn’t even phased him.
“That’s gonna be pretty hard to do when you smell so fucking good, pup.”
Jeongin looks wide eyed at Chan’s throaty admission, and leans over to not so subtly sniff his own shirt. “I don’t smell anything crazy.”
Chan growls in his throat, and you smirk, reaching back to palm him through his jeans. He bucks his hips up into your hand, his fingers digging into your shoulders.
“That’s because you’re used to how you smell, but you’re kinda blooming, Innie. It means your omega has sensed the presence of alphas-pack alphas-and is desperately trying to get our attention.”
“Oh.” Jeongin murmurs, looking suddenly small. “I’m sorry, I can leave-” He makes a move to get up.
“Sit down.” You command, and his pupils dilate at the sound of your timber, but he does as he’s told. You soften your tone a little. “You’re fine, Innie. You’re not going to distract from anything. If anything, your scent is going to make this all the more enjoyable.”
Chan’s teeth graze over your scent gland, and you glance back at him, arching your brow. “Eager, are we?”
Chan growls again, the sound a low rumble against your back, and snakes his hand around your waist, letting his fingers find the inside of your thighs. He applies pressure with the palm of his hand, and you arch your back in response, letting out a quick hitch of breath.
“Very.” He replies, licking a stripe up the side of your neck with his tongue, tasting you.
You turn to face him, your eyes flashing gold to match his own, but before you fully lose yourself in him, you glance once more at the omega over your shoulder, saying in a soft, serious tone, “Innie, if you want us to stop at any point, say something, and we will. Without hesitation.”
He nods. “Yes, noona.” His eyes are wide, and his tongue darts out to wet his lips as he watches Chan pull you toward the bed.
“Sit down.” Chan orders you, much like you had commanded Jeongin earlier, and you do so, but not without a slight smirk in his direction.
“I’m not going to make this easy.” You warn, settling onto the edge of the bed, your expression wicked.
Chan knocks apart your knees and stands between your legs, a look of annoyance on his features. One hand tangles into your hair and he yanks your head back, forcing you to look at him, as the other hand comes to loosely wrap around the front of your throat.
You feel your pulse quicken under his hold.
“Don’t play that game, pet. Not right now. You already made me wait far too fucking long already.” Chan lifts his lips into the hint of a snarl, and the flash of his sharp canines has your inner thighs slick with want.
He slides his hand slowly up the column of your throat, finally letting his fingers find purchase beneath your chin, tilting your head back even further.
“But you know that already, don’t you?” He murmurs, staring down at you with something akin to a hungry predator in his dark gaze.
You swallow beneath the hold he has on your throat, and arch a brow pettily in response. “Care to remind me?”
Chan’s lips curl, and another animalistic growl slips through the barrier of his teeth.
You hear Jeongin let out a sharp exhale from the corner, but you don’t look over.
Your entire body is electrified, waiting for Chan’s next move.
“I could remind you who you belong to-” Chan muses, eyes flashing golden as he stares at you. “-but I don’t think that’s necessary, do you?”
He leans down, and without warning, slips a hand down underneath the band of your pants.
His fingers immediately touch your heat, and just by the look of satisfaction that flickers across his features, you can tell he feels just how wet you are already.
He pulls back, and holds up his slick, glistening fingers for you to see with a cock of his head.
“I think you already know.” He repeats in a low tone, advancing toward you now, backing you onto the bed, until he’s straddling you, leaning over your prone form. “Don’t you?”
“Yes.” You breathe out, tired of playing already, tired of staying away from him.
“Yes what?” He prods, lips curling up into the hint of a dangerous smirk, as he moves to strip you of your clothes.
“Yes, daddy.”
Chan freezes, his pupils blowing at the nickname, and a muscle in his jaw ticks, as if he’s silently fighting himself for control, his hands curling into fists beside you on the bed.
You openly smirk up at him. “Oh, I knew you’d like that one. You know, given your certain proclivities.”
His irises are completely drowning in gold now, his lips parted slightly as he stares down at you, his breath coming in harsh pants, his chest heaving.
Still smirking, you roll your head to the side and find Jeongin in your line of sight, arching a brow in the omega’s direction.
“Did you catch that, Innie? When he was fucking you through your presentation?” Your voice is smooth like butter, dripping with taunting. You’re playing with the alpha on top of you now, and you all know it.
Jeongin stares at you, his stare moving slowly to Chan and then back again. “Catch what, noona?” His voice is hoarse, like he’s been holding his breath.
You shift so you’re staring back up at Chan, looming over you, and your lips tick upward into a dangerous expression meant to goad.
“Our Channie here has a little obsession-a fantasy, if you will-with breeding. He probably went easy on you the first time he knotted you, because you’re inexperienced, but he just loves to fill you up when he fucks you, loves the idea of stretching you with his seed and then his pups, hm, Channie?”
A low growl rolls from Chan’s chest, and you hear Jeongin’s breath catch.
The smell of cinnamon is overpowering.
Chan pins your hands above your head in one smooth, quick motion, and leans over to bite down-hard-on your scent gland in the curvature of your shoulder.
Not hard enough to mark or draw blood, but damn near close.
Your body goes limp beneath him, your mind going blank, your jaw slack, and suddenly, any of the teasing from before is long gone, and the only thought is-alpha, alpha, alpha.
He pulls back, licking his lips with a wicked smirk, and fuck it, he knows he’s won already.
“I should punish you for teasing me, pet, but lucky for you, I’m far to eager to feel you squeezing every last drop out of me to make myself wait any longer.”
And without warning, he leans over and sinks his teeth into your muscle once again, sheathing himself fully inside of you in the same frantic motion.
You cry out, the sensations hitting you all at once, and arch your body up into his hold.
He hadn’t prepped you, but honestly, you were wet enough that he slid in without much resistance, and the friction was honestly close to pushing you over the edge already.
Chan growls, the sound sending goosebumps over your skin, muffled by his hold on your shoulder, and thrusts wildly a few times, like an animal gone mad with desire.
You let him, your fingers scrabbling at his skin, and letting your head roll to the side to give him more access to your neck, you catch sight of Jeongin, watching the two of you with something clearly hot, but tentative, on his features.
Reaching a hand out, you splay it across Chan’s bare chest, stopping his movements, and he releases his teeth’s hold on you, as you say quietly to get his attention, “Chan.”
He’s panting, but he stills, and the feeling of him filling you without moving is enough to drive you crazy, but you keep your focus on Jeongin as you hold out your free hand.
“Done watching, Innie? Wanna join in?”
The omega swallows, you see the way his throat bobs, and then he stands, looking suddenly nervous, but you can tell he’s intrigued and more than a little hot and bothered at this point if the tent in his pants is any indication.
He approaches the bed, and swallows again.
“You don’t have to.” You say softly, taking his hand in yours and rubbing his fingers. “I know this can be overwhelming, but if you want to-”
He nods, glancing down at you, his eyes trailing down the length of Chan’s body atop yours, before he meets your gaze once more with a look of determination.
“No, I want to.”
“Good boy.” You praise, before you tug him forward and onto the bed beside you and Chan. You jerk your head at his clothes. “Take those off.”
He does so quickly, and then sits back down beside the two of you once more, looking unsure. “Now what?”
You give him an encouraging smile. “Now, you’re gonna kneel above me and slide yourself into my mouth.” You open your lips and lean your head back to show him, careful not to jostle Chan.
Jeongin’s eyes go wide. “What? But what if I hurt you-?”
A raspy chuckle leaves Chan’s lips, and he gives the omega a soft look. “You’re not gonna hurt her, pup. I promise.”
“You’re not.” You reiterate, as Jeongin finally takes a breath and moves to kneel above your head. You glance up at him, as you wrap your hands around the back of his thighs. “And besides, now is as good a time as any to talk about safe words and safety gestures. I won’t be able to talk, obviously, but if I need you to stop at any time, I’ll tap you twice, like this, okay?”
I tap the back of his thigh with two fingers hard, twice.
Jeongin nods, staring down at my head between his knees. “Okay.”
“Okay.” You repeat back, parting your lips once more. “Whenever you’re ready.” Jeongin hesitates briefly, glancing to Chan, who gives him a little nod, and then he leans forward and places the tip of himself into your mouth.
You adjust slightly to allow easier access as he slowly slides between your lips.
You see the way his body tenses as he feels your tongue on him, but he still gives you a worried sort of glance. “Okay?”
You nod slightly, and hum a sound of affirmation, before you let yourself suck, creating suction with your tongue.
Jeongin instantly groans, his head falling back and his hands scrabbling to tangle in your hair.
Chan takes that as his cue to move again as well, and he resumes his thrusting from before, his hips moving more rhythmically now.
You feel Jeongin hit the back of your throat, and oh god, he tastes just like he smells, and fuck, with Chan moving like that-
You can feel the muscles in your body tensing, readying for release, as you keep working Jeongin with your mouth and Chan shunts your body over and over with his.
“Fuck, noona, I-” Jeongin starts to say, and then he’s shuddering, and you feel him release, tasting the sweetness on your tongue.
“Fuck.” Chan swears, watching Jeongin come for you, and then he leans forward, his sweaty skin sticking to yours as he rests his forehead on your chest, fingers digging into your wrists, and roars through his own release.
Everything whites out for a moment as your own body uncoils, and you have to remind yourself to breathe, as Jeongin slowly pulls himself from your mouth and Chan lies on top of you, catching his breath.
“Fuck.” Jeongin repeats, staring down at you, his eyes full of awe. “Fuck.”
You give a weak little laugh and reach out to brush Chan’s sweaty hair back from his forehead. He glances up at you, his chin on your chest, and releases his hold on your wrists, one of his hands moving to your jaw and pinching your mouth open so he can look inside.
A small smirk quirks the corner of his mouth as he says hoarsely, “A shame to waste all that perfectly good come on your mouth, baby.” You grin down at him, wincing slightly as he pulls himself out of you with a long, low groan.
He flops down beside you on the bed, covering his face with his arm as his chest still heaves.
On your other side, Jeongin collapses down as well, his hand finding yours, even though his eyes are closed.
After a few moments of silence, Chan pushes himself up with effort, and scoots to the edge of the bed. He waves a finger between you and Jeongin’s prone forms.
“Don’t move. I’ll be right back.”
You give a sound of assent, but don’t open your eyes.
Soon though, you hear the sound of his footsteps padding back, and he nudges you with his hand.
“Drink this, baby.” You crack open your eyes, and take the bottle of water he offers you, passing the other one to Jeongin, who guzzles it down immediately.
Chan slides back onto the bed between your legs, and begins to wipe down the sticky skin of the inside of your thighs with the warm rag, cleaning up all the residual juices that were left behind.
You relax into his gentle motions, and when he’s finished, he turns to Jeongin, arching a brow at the younger boy.
“Can I?” He asks, and Jeongin hesitates, before he nods slightly, spreading his legs for Chan to clean him up as well.
You watch them-how gentle Chan is, how trusting Jeongin is-and you feel warm from head to toe.
Warm and content.
When he’s finished with Jeongin, you finally sit up and reach for the rag, motioning for Chan to lay back on the bed.
“Okay, now you.”
He opens his mouth, as if to protest, but Jeongin pushes him down gently with a hand to his chest and a small smile.
“C’mon, hyung. It’s only fair.”
Chan rolls his eyes, but lets you wash him over with the warm rag anyway, and you can tell, by the slight hint of pink on his cheeks, that he enjoys the tender touches just as much as you do.
When everyone is cleaned up, you motion for Jeongin to snuggle down between the two of you, your arm looped comfortably across him, your fingers making nonsensical patterns on the warm, bare skin of Chan’s chest.
Leaning over to press a kiss to the tip of Jeongin’s nose, you say softly, “I love you.” Jeongin glances up at you with large eyes, and his lips curve into a smile.
“I love you too, noona. And you, hyung.”
You grin and press another kiss to the top of his soft, red hair, before he glance across to Chan, who is watching you affectionately, a small smile on his lips.
He arches a brow at you and whispers over the top of Jeongin’s head, “I’m proud of you. You’re getting better.”
You grin back at him, and reach up with your free hand to cup his jaw, before you squish Jeongin between you as you lean forward to press a kiss to his lips.
“I love you, Bang Chan.”
He tugs you forward for another kiss, and Jeongin whines slightly at being squished.
“I love you too.” ********************************
“So, I’m guessing the two of you made up?” Changbin remarks offhandedly, leaning against the desk as he eyes you with an arch of his brow and a smirk on his lips.
You give a little shrug, sifting through Chan’s papers to find the one you’re looking for. “I guess. How can you tell?” You stop, glancing back at him with a narrowing of your eyes.
Changbin grins, his eyes dropping pointedly to the large black hoodie you wear. “That’s his favorite hoodie.”
You hold out the heavy fabric so you can see the Nirvana logo printed across the front of it, staring at it skeptically. “Really? This old thing? I just stole this the last time we went over to his dorm after hide and seek.”
Changbin laughs and shakes his head, leaning around you now to pluck up a piece of paper and present it to you.
It’s the one you’ve been looking for.
You snatch it from him with a teasing glare.
“Really.” He nods, tugging at the hood of the hoodie teasingly. “This fucking thing is his favorite fucking thing on the whole planet, so the fact that he let you take it and wear it-” He shakes his head in slight disbelief, and smirks down at you. “-well maybe that just means that he has a new favorite fucking thing on the whole planet.”
You grin at that.
“I kind of like the sound of that.” Changbin grins back and tackles you onto the futon in the corner of the studio, tickling you as you shriek and struggle to get away from him.
“I knew you would.”

Your shinee omegaverse takes? If you have any? I'm tryna see something.....
what you tryna see.....
disclaimer i barely ever think about most groups in the omegaverse like i don't give it nearly half as much thought as i have with exo so idk i could change my mind about these but just going with my gut i really think it's obvious who is an omega (kibum) and who is an alpha (minho). the rest could be whatever your little heart desires
i love the idea of jonghyun being this rowdy omega too for some reason... who shows kibum you don't need to be ashamed of your presentation.... real activist for omega rights etc etc

Pack Mentality: Chapter Two
Chapter Summary: You meet your new pack after having a rather embarrassing conversation with Chan Warnings: Talk of past abuse/controlling behavior
Series Masterlist
As you stepped into the elevator of the dorm building, you were trying not to stare at Seungmin. Keyword: trying. If he noticed, he didn’t say anything. You weren’t trying to be rude or make him uncomfortable, you were just confused. During the walk from the hobby shop to the dorms, Seungmin’s scent started changing. Well, not exactly changing, he still smelled of a comforting mix of cedarwood and lemon, but it was like it was getting stronger. That something extra that you smelled on Chan was slowly permeating Seungmin’s scent.
“I told everyone except for our other omega to wait in their rooms.” You were shaken from your thoughts when Chan broke the silence. “I’m gonna introduce them slowly. I don’t want you to be overwhelmed.”
“Thank you, I appreciate that,” you breathed a sigh of relief. You were nervous to meet six new people, but knowing there was another omega eased your nerves. The three of you shuffled into the landing of the dorm to take off your shoes. You stepped into an extra pair of slippers then followed Chan into the living room. Seungmin turned down another hallway, you assumed he was going to tell the others that you were here. The bright smell of citrus and spearmint radiated from a very excited blonde.
“Hi! You must be Y/N, I’m so happy to meet you,” the blonde grinned at you. “I’m Felix.”
“You’re minty, like me.” You cringed internally. You had just blurted out the first thing that came to mind. Felix’s smile somehow grew wider.
“Oh my god, you’re adorable!” Felix giggled at your reddened cheeks. “Can I give you a hug?” You nodded and Felix immediately pulled you into his chest. You buried your nose into his collarbone, inhaling his scent. You closed your eyes and allowed yourself to relax for the first time since you were brought into the shop’s office.
“How about we sit down, get comfortable,” Chan suggested after letting you indulge for a minute. “There’s some things I’d like to talk about while it’s just you, me, and Felix.” You forced yourself to untangle from Felix with a pout. Felix pulled you to sit on his lap on the large sectional while Chan occupied the recliner.
“Right, this is going to be a bit personal. I figured you would be less anxious with another omega present.” You tensed up slightly, now worried that he was about to tell you they didn’t need or want another omega in the pack.
“It’s okay, love. We’re just getting your boundaries set in place,” Felix whispered, trailing his fingers over your spine. You sunk further into the blonde, nodding for them to continue.
“Do you know when your next heat is due?” Your eyes widened, not expecting the alpha to bring up your heat. It was a taboo subject at your parents’ home.
“Oh- um, it’s due in two and a half weeks. Why?”
“I need to know if you want help with it or if you want to handle it yourself,” Chan explained. Your eyebrows furrowed.
“What do you mean?” You looked to Felix. “I thought I would just be locked in my room. That’s what my dad did whenever I went into heat.” Felix’s jaw dropped in horror, and you heard Chan inhale sharply.
“Sweetheart, I promise I am nothing like your dad. You don’t have to deal with your heat alone if you don’t want to. And if you do, we’ll get you set up at a heat sanctuary hotel.” Your eyes snapped back to Chan.
“I didn’t even know those existed,” you admitted. Chan pinched the bridge of his nose, blown away by just how cruel your own father was to you. “You’d really help me? I don’t have to deal with the pain myself?”
“We are more than willing to help. Although I would be the first to do so,” Chan noted.
“Wh- what?”
“I’m the pack alpha, so I’m the first to have sex with our omegas.” You hid your flushed face behind your hands.
“Awe, you don’t need to hide,” Felix cooed at your embarrassment. You peeked between your fingers at Chan, who waited patiently for you to signal him to continue.
“I, um, I’ve never- I haven’t-” You struggled to form a coherent sentence.
“Ah, you haven’t had sex yet?” You shook your head. “That’s okay, and if you don’t want to yet, I won’t be upset. You don’t have to answer right now. Think it over and let me know sometime next week.”
“I will,” you confirmed. “Are more pack members coming out soon?”
“I have one other question. It’s still about your heat, so you don’t have to answer right away,” Chan paused to check that you were still comfortable. “I don’t know if you’ve picked up on it, but you’re my mate.”
“Is that why your scent is different?” Your eyes widened in realization.
“Yes, I didn’t want to freak you out, but I could tell from the moment I met you,” Chan revealed with a soft smile. Your heart swelled at the way he looked at you.
“Wait, Seungmin smells that way to me, too. Does that mean I have to choose one of you?” You fretted, unsure if you’d be able to make that choice.
“You don’t have to choose. It’s possible to have more than one mate,” Felix interjected. “Chan’s my mate, too. Got the mark to prove it and everything.” You paused, trying to find the right words to express your emotions.
“If I’m being honest, I never expected to find a pack, let alone a mate. Does this mean I’ll have a pack mark and two claiming marks?” You were trying to process the new information.
“That’s exactly what I wanted to ask you,” Chan stated. “If you ask me to help with your heat, I’ll need to know beforehand if you want me to claim you.”
“O-oh! Why do you need to know before?”
“You’re not going to be totally yourself. You may ask for things while in that state of mind that you don’t actually mean.” You nodded slowly, absentmindedly picking at your fingers. “If you tell me that you don’t want to be claimed yet, I won’t do it even if you beg during your heat.”
“Okay, it’s a lot to think about, but I promise I’ll let you know soon.” Chan relaxed into the recliner, smiling fondly at you and Felix.
“You ready for Seungmin to bring out the other betas?” Felix asked while grabbing your hands to stop your nervous habit, mirroring the earlier actions of his alpha. You took a deep breath and nodded. Chan whipped out his phone, sending a text to Seungmin. Moments later, you heard rapid footsteps coming toward the living room.
“New omega!!” A man with a heart-shaped smile slid across the hardwood. His enthusiasm caused you to giggle, which in turn had his smile brighten. Seungmin and another dark-haired man appeared behind the first.
“Hi, Y/N, it’s nice to meet you. I’m Hyunjin and that’s Jisung,” the calmer of the two newcomers introduced. Jisung plopped on the couch next to you and Felix, squeezing between your bodies and the arm of the couch and blocking Chan from view. The remaining betas sat on your other side.
“Wow, you’re so pretty,” Jisung sighed, leaning his head on the back of the couch.
“Thank you,” you squeaked, pink flooding your cheeks once again. Jisung’s smile morphed into a smirk.
“You’re even prettier when you blush,” he teased. You hid in Felix’s neck, causing the two to laugh.
“Jisung,” Chan warned from his spot on the recliner.
“Sorry, sorry.” The beta raised his hands in surrender. After Seungmin coaxed you out of your hiding spot, conversation flowed easily. They asked about your studies and how you liked your university, and you asked them about their job.
“So you guys are idols? I’m part of a super famous pack?” You questioned. Seungmin snickered from behind you, so you turned to face him. “Is it really that funny? I’m only asking because I’m not sure if your fans will like me.”
“When you’re ready for us to announce you, STAY will love you. And if they have an issue, they aren’t real fans,” Hyunjin reassured.
“Even if the fans are okay with me being in the pack, what about the company? Do you think they’ll have an issue with me having two of you as mates?” The betas perked up at the mention of mates.
“Two?” Jisung repeated.
“Mhm. Chan and Seungmin,” you confirmed, a little nervous that the others would be upset or feel left out.
“Oooooo! You lucky bastards,” Jisung complained half-heartedly.
“And she hasn’t even met the other alphas yet. Maybe she has more.” Felix wiggled his eyebrows at you. You snorted, slapping a hand over your mouth. They didn’t look upset, much to your relief. Seungmin stared at you, looking utterly lovestruck, a fact that Hyunjin did not let slide.
“Awwweeee, look at Min!” Hyunjin poked Seungmin’s side repeatedly. “He’s got heart eyes.”
“Shut up,” Seungmin muttered while swatting the older beta’s hand away.
“Alright, alright, calm down,” Chan spoke up after staying silent for most of the conversation. “Y/N, are you good to meet the others? They’re gonna come in one at a time.”
“Yeah, I’m okay. I’m excited to meet them,” you agreed. Chan sent another message out, and a minute later a young man with fox-like eyes entered the room. He grinned upon seeing you. His scent washed over you like a warm blanket. Cinnamon and vanilla soothed your nerves, feeling like you just stepped into a bakery.
“Hello, I’m Jeongin,” he greeted softly. He sat a little further from you on the same side as Seungmin. You wiggled your way out of Felix’s lap so you could sit between him and Jisung. It was easier to see everyone now that you were facing forward. The beta made a small noise of excitement, throwing an arm around your shoulders.
“You smell like a cinnamon bun,” you mumbled dreamily. Jeongin looked to his lap to hide his blush, but the tips of his ears gave him away as they burned red.
“Someone’s embarrassed,” Seungmin said in a sing-song voice while pinching the youngest pack member’s cheek. Jeongin groaned and pushed the beta’s hand away.
“Oh- I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to embarrass anyone,” you apologized. “I just got excited cus this is the first time I’ve been comfortable around alphas.”
“Alphas usually make you uncomfortable?” Hyunjin asked despite the silent signals from Chan telling him to stop. You frowned and squished your cheek into Felix’s shoulder.
“They normally scare me. The only alphas I’ve been around were my dad and his friends.”
“You don’t have to be scared of alphas anymore.” Jeongin’s pretty smile was gone, his lips pressed into a thin line. “I promise, me and Chan and everyone in this pack will make sure you’re safe.”
“Thank you,” you smiled at Jeongin before turning to Chan. “I know you wanted the alphas to come in one at a time, but can I meet them both now? I want to have the whole pack together.”
“Yeah, I’ll call them in.” Chan sent out another text. His alpha puffed up with pride, pleased that you were already so caring for his pack. Once again, rapid footsteps approached the room. A very excited (and very muscular) man ran in with a bright smile. He immediately dropped down next to Jeongin. A much calmer man walked in next. He froze in his tracks, eyes locking onto you and nostrils flaring.
“Minho, you alright?” Jisung asked. Minho ignored him, moving to kneel in front of you, never breaking eye contact. He gently grabbed your hand, running his thumb across your knuckles.
“You’re real.” Tears gathered on the alpha’s lash line. “I’ve always hoped I would find my mate, just like my parents found each other.” You compulsively brushed your fingers over his cheekbone, your own eyes growing misty.
“Does anyone want to explain what’s happening here?” The moment was broken by the alpha beside Jeongin. Minho exhaled loudly through his nose and you snickered at his annoyed expression.
“Y/N is Chan, Seungmin, and Minho’s mate,” Hyunjin explained bluntly.
“Oh no way! Congratulations on finding each other.” The alpha smacked Seungmin between his shoulder blades, earning a grunt from the beta. “I’m Changbin. He probably didn’t tell you, but Hyunjin is actually my mate.”
“Really?! Hyunjin, why didn’t you tell me?” You pouted. He only shrugged as an answer. Beside you, Jisung and Minho were having a silent conversation of eyebrow raises and head tilts, ultimately ending with the younger moving next to Changbin with a huff. Minho promptly took the spot next to you. As you looked over the pack, more specifically their pajamas, you came to a realization.
“I don’t have any of my stuff. What am I going to wear?” You asked, looking at Chan.
“You can use our clothes for now. Felix’s should fit alright, but we do need to decide when to go to your parents’ house for your belongings,” he noted and pulled up the pack’s shared calendar. “Looks like after Monday, we won’t have any days off for two weeks.”
“Dude, today’s Saturday. We’d have to go either tomorrow or Monday,” Jisung interjected.
“Well, I do want to see my mom while I’m there. She has Sundays off and works from home on Mondays, so that works. But my dad also has the shop closed on Sundays and Mondays so he can be home with mom,” you explained. “I can just go by myself. You shouldn’t waste your days off helping me pack.”
“There’s no way in hell I’m letting you go to that house alone,” Chan stated firmly. “If your dad is there, then at least Changbin and I are going with you.”
“But-”
“No ‘buts’, dollface. We want to help you, so it isn’t a waste of our time off,” Changbin confirmed. You sighed, resigned to the fact they weren’t going to budge.
“Okay, but Felix comes too. Showing up with two buff alphas would make my mom freak out.”
“Deal. Last thing to discuss is which room you’re gonna move into.” Chan ran a hand through his hair. “I’m pretty sure the only room that can fit another bed is the master bedroom with me and Jeongin.”
“Wh… what if I don’t want my own bed?” You stuttered. Chan furrowed his eyebrows, looking at you curiously.
“She wants to share a bed with someone,” Felix clarified. You nodded quickly.
“Not just one person, I’d like to sleep in everyone’s beds. I get nightmares sometimes, but I’ve never liked sleeping alone, even as a kid.”
“I think we can arrange that,” Chan confirmed, grinning like an idiot.
“I’ll text my mom to see if we can go tomorrow.” You relaxed into Minho’s side and pulled out your phone.
“What the hell is that?” Felix pointed at your cracked iPhone 4.
“My phone…?” You faltered at the disbelief on everyone’s faces. “What’s wrong with it?”
“It’s extremely outdated. I’m surprised it’s still running,” Chan scoffed. “I’m assuming your dad wouldn’t get you a newer phone?” You shook your head.
“Your dad should be thankful that I’m not going with you,” Minho seethed, a muscle flexing as he clenched his jaw. You didn’t answer, opting to text your mom. She answered right away, like always, which made you smile.
“We can go over tomorrow, they don’t have any plans,” you stated.
“Right, so we’ll be getting you a new phone then going to pack up,” Chan started. “I don’t want you relying on that man anymore, and I’m nervous he may just cut your phone off.” You hummed in acknowledgement. You chatted with your new pack with a movie playing as background noise. For the first time in a long time, you were at ease.

₊˚⊹ᰔ ₊˚⊹ᰔ Summary; It had been over a decade since you had last seen each other, having met in choir when Seungmin was living with his grandparents in LA and you with your Aunt. Now that you are both presented adults, how will he handle a change to the reality of you he had made in his mind in your absence over the years?
₊˚⊹ᰔ ₊˚⊹ᰔ ₊˚⊹ᰔ Notes; This is an omegaverse!AU. in this world when someone reaches puberty they will present with one of three sub genders; alpha, beta, or omega.
