Alpha! Grayson and y/n and y/n accidentally wanders off too far during like a walk or something and grayson finds her and gets all pissed and then it’s fluff in the end? I’ve been deprived of alpha gray lately😭😭😭😭

OMG I MISS ALPHA!GRAY SM!!!!

Because Y/N is human, grayson is super strict with her when they’re around the pack. He of course knows that no one in his pack would do anything to Y/N, and vice versa. But they all live in a pretty remote place during the summer - so it’s basically an invitation for rogue wolves to try and stake their claim at the pack and the alpha. It happens more times then grayson and ethan would like, but they always get it under control quickly and calmly. With Y/N staying with the pack during the summer (because grayson can’t be without her) grayson is more strict. Y/N gets it, of course she does. She gets grayson wanting her to be safe.

She does not get why she’s locked up in their room half the time. She can’t go out to the river and swim with all the the other members, she can’t look after the pups or help the pack doctors. She’s apparently not allowed to do anything with grayson supervising. She’s had enough and needs to some fresh air.

“Please? I’ll be super safe!” Y/N pouted, she was currently begging grayson to allow her to explore some of the woods around the camp. Grayson of course said no straight away. There hasn’t been a rogue wolf in weeks - but grayson is not taking any chances, the minute those wolves smell Y/N she’s done for. And although he’s trained her in combat, she’s definitely not strong enough to fight off those wolves even if they were injured.

“Baby, i’m sorry but i’m just not letting you go out there” Grayson said placing his hands on her hips. Y/N pouted again, her eyes filling up with tears. Graysons heart broke and he tried to look away, but the thought of her crying because of him made him hate himself a little. He sighed and kissed her forehead before giving in.

“Fine. You can go” Grayson said and Y/N turned off those tears quicker then they came on. Grayson raised his eyebrow but chose to ignore it.

“You have ten minutes and a guard will stand outside of the perimeter you’re in” Grayson stated and Y/N nodded squealing pecking grayson’s lips before getting her shoes from the end of the bed.

“See you later!” Y/N called out running down the stairs of the pack home. The guard, who she learned was named, Malakai, guided her through the bushes and onto the path of the woods. It was so beautiful out here, Y/N just wanted to enjoy it. She wished they lived here all year round, there’s beautiful scenery and everyone is always so happy and lively. Their walk was short and quiet, the guard only talking when Y/N spoke to him.

Y/N started walking foward into the woods, the guard standing post beside a large tree. “Don’t go far” He ordered and Y/N nodded with a smirk. She just wanted to explore a little. She hadn’t been out in so long. Soon enough, ten minutes turned into twenty and twenty turned into thirty. The guard had been looking for her the minute his timer went off and she had not arrived back. Y/N was sitting by a rock watching a deer and it’s baby eat. They looked so peaceful and she just couldn’t look away. She didn’t mean to lose track of time, nature just fascinated her. All the things she saw today, she couldn’t wait to tell grayson all about it. Even though he’s probably seen a lot more beautiful things than her.

“Y/N!” A voice called out, they called it out again and again but Y/N was so entranced by the beauty of the two animals she didn’t hear it. Grayson was going out of his mind, malakai had mind linked him and ethan to let them know Y/N hadn’t returned and he was going into the woods to search for her. Grayson nearly lost his shit, well actually he did. He threw a cup at the way and then immediately shifted into his wolf form running into the woods. Ethan and a few other members of the pack went down the river and other parts of the woods.

“Y/N?” Grayson called out, now out of his wolf form. God, she looked so happy. But he didn’t even notice because he stalked over to her quickly scaring away the two deers. He grabbed Y/N by the arm making her gasp. He had never done that before - not in a harsh way. Y/N couldn’t of been gone for that long, right? She didn’t mean to be so long.

“Grayson” She said as he pulled her along out of the woods. Members of the pack were looking at Y/N, some relieved and other still worried. Grayson looked like he was about to throw her in the dungeons for the night. Y/N had never seen grayson this angry before. Of course they’ve gotten into little fights, but it was usually Y/N that got angry and yelled. Grayson was always the composed one when it came to arguments.

“Grayson, please i’m sorry” Y/N said, but he continued on into their home and up the stairs not saying a word but still dragging Y/N along upstairs to their room. Y/N sighed, knowing she wouldn’t win this argument so she stayed quiet. Once they were in the room, Y/N sat down on their bed as Grayson paced back and forth in front of her. She didn’t exactly know what to do. So she apologised again.

“I’m really sorry-“

She was cut off by a laugh from grayson. He stood in front of her and shook his head.

“Sorry? You were gone for nearly an hour! You scared me” Grayson yelled, Y/N jumped at his tone he noticed and sighed sitting down beside her.

“I know you’re sorry. But you can’t do things like that” he said and Y/N nodded.

“You’re right. I’m sorry and i won’t wonder off.” she said and pecked his lips.

“On the plus side i got to see some pretty amazing things!”

In Heat - alpha! gray

Grayson comes home to find his mate in heat.

Grayson walked into the pack house and immediately smelled his mate. Not only did he smell her but he smelt her arousal.

His mate started her heat while he was gone in a house full of wolves. This made Grayson irrationally angry because he knew they took notice to her sent even if she was upstairs in their room.

Grayson stormed past Ethan and the other boys who were snickering as he walked up to his bedroom. When he walked in y/n was asleep on the bed, she must’ve started her heat while she was asleep. She was squirming around the bed and making little noises. The sight turned Grayson on quickly.

He moved across the room to the side of the bed y/n was asleep on. He gently placed is hand on her shoulder even though all he could think about was tearing her clothes off. He shook her slightly mumbling her name, trying to wake her up.

Y/n began to stir and Grayson backed away waiting for her to fully wake up. When she did, she fluttered her eyes looking up at Grayson.

She whined, squirming on the bed before saying “Alpha... please”. Grayson just chuckled moving towards her to give what she needed.

Ethan’s POV

Liana and I walk back to the house. Showing her my wolf was one of the best decisions I've ever made. Seeing her smile and laugh brought a lot of happiness to me. When she got sad, I was worried. I don't like seeing her sad. She had asked me to take her home. On the drive to her house she didn't utter one word. My wolf was going into a frenzy thinking she was rejecting us. Doubts crept into my mind as we pulled into her driveway. A guy, I'm assuming is Aaron, standing on her porch. She wants to go back to him? The other side of me freaking out and screaming in my mind telling me to kill him.

"Liana!?" I say as my voice shakes.

"Yeah?" she turns towards me a look of concern on her face.

"You'll be... okay right? You'll come back?"

She smiles lightly, "Of course I'm coming back. I have to talk to Aaron and my mom."

I let out a deep breath and look at the steering wheel. He's not calming down. I need him to stop freaking out.

"Hey," she grabs the sides of my face and forces me to look at her, "I won't leave you. I'm coming back."

Leaning in, she kisses my cheek. My wolf finally calms down.

"Thank you for calming him." I say to her.

"Of course. I love him and I don't want him to feel that way."

My heart swells. Love. She loves him. But me? She doesn't love me.

"I'll be back tomorrow morning. Nine AM sharp."

"Okay."

She gets out and waves after me as I drive away. I just hope she's breaking up with Aaron. I don't know how my wolf will react if she doesn't want him anymore. I don't know how I'll react if she doesn't want to try this with me.

Liana's POV:

I sigh as Ethan drives away. My mind is already racing about what will happen with Aaron. I was already eager to get back to Ethan. I felt guilty because I was already more attached to Ethan than I was to Aaron.

"Liana?"

"Hi Aaron." I say walking up the stairs and into the house. He follows behind me.

"Please tell me he was just a friend."

"Listen Aaron I think we should-"

"You are not breaking up with me right now."

"A listen to me-"

"How long? How long have you been cheating on me Liana!?" He screams at me. I flinch at his sudden violence.

"I haven't been cheating-" I gasp as he slaps me.

"Bull. Don't lie to me Liana!"

I'll have to lie.

"Not long. A few days."

"Seriously Li I thought we were special."

"We were but-"

"We're done. I don't want to talk to you."

"Aaron I'm sorry-"

He turns around and pushes me up against the door. His hand wraps around my throat as he yells.

"I said I don't want to f*****g talk to you."

Clawing at his hand with my nails, he releases me. I fall to the floor crying.

"You're weak and pathetic." he spits on me before he leaves.

I want Ethan. I want Ethan so bad. I pull out my phone to see a text from my mom.

Mom: Won't be home this weekend. Had to travel out of state to get organs for transfer. Love you!

I cry harder. I just want Ethan. I crawl up the stairs to my room and pack a bunch of clothes in a duffel bag. Writing a note to my mom, I walk down stairs and set it on the island in the kitchen.

Mom,

Hey it's Li! I got accepted to a study abroad for acting. It's so cool! They've booked me a flight for tonight and since you weren't home I figured this is the best thing to leave you. Especially knowing your phone will be off all weekend. I don't know how long the study is but hopefully a few months at best! Love you!

I hated having to lie to my mom but it was for the best. Grabbing my hiking books from the shoe closet, I tug them on then made my way through the woods. Following the path I took last night I see the tree Ethan held me up against. It's crazy to think I had only met him yesterday. And to miss him already, it's insane. I walked in on a mating tradition last night. A mating tradition! I didn't even know they existed. I didn't know werewolves existed. I was still skeptical until Ethan transformed. Seeing his wolf was- I'm brought out of my thoughts by the sound of crunching leaves. I start breathing heavily.

"Ethan this isn't funny." I say, slightly worried it's not him.

A boy walks around the tree and sniffs at me. I glare at him.

"You're Ethan's mate." He states.

"Yeah so?"

"I'm Grayson, Ethan's best friend. I'm assuming you're looking for him."

"Yes I am."

"Okay follow me."

He grabs my wrist and tugs me along. Soon we're back in the valley walking in the direction of Ethan's house. He lets go of my wrist as I follow behind him.

"So how did you find out you're Ethan's mate? I mean you're human."

"I walked into the mating tradition unknowingly."

"Oh that makes sense."

"How did you know I'm Ethan's mate?"

"You're wearing his sweatshirt so you smell like him."

"Ohhhh."

"What happened to your neck?"

"What about it?"

"You have a red handprint there. Ethan didn't-"

"No! Ethan didn't do anything. My ex boyfriend, well I just went to breakup with him because I felt guilty about liking Ethan. When I said that we should break up he didn't take it too well."

"I'm so sorry that happened to you. After Ethan finds out he's probably going to have people look after you. Just to make sure you're okay."

"Would you want to be one? At least I would know you."

"If he mentions it you can count me in."

"Thanks Grayson."

"No pro-"

"Liana?" I hear a voice call. 

Looking around me I find Ethan jogging towards us. When he gets here I wrap my arms around him and pull him into a hug. He hugs me back but sends a bewildered look towards Grayson.

"What are you doing back here? I told you I'd come pick you up in the morning." Ethan says pulling away from the hug.

"I broke up with Aaron and my mom isn't going to be home for days. There was no reason for me to stay."

"How did Grayson even find you? I-" he stops, noticing the hand mark around my neck. His eyes darken.

"What is that?" He growls out.

"Aaron didn't like the breakup but I'm okay."

"So he laid his hands on you?"

"Just my neck and my cheek but Ethan-"

"Grayson go tell my father we need to send out a few people."

I look at Grayson as he starts backing away.

"Grayson don't you dare move. You are not sending people after him." I scream.

"Liana I will do whatever I want. He put his hands on what's mine. He needs to be punished."

"What are you going to do to him?"

"Beat him up til he's half dead. You wouldn't want me to kill him."

A tear slips down my cheek. Of course I don't want him to kill Aaron. As much as I hate Aaron for what he did, we had history and he deserves a good reason as to why I was breaking up with him. I couldn't tell him I was leaving him because I found out my soulmate is a werewolf. I turn to see Grayson still standing there.

"Well what are you waiting for? Go get the people!"

Grayson runs toward the house as I turn to look at Ethan. He has a small smile on his face as he pulls me into a hug kissing the top of my forehead.

"Thank you." He whispers.

And im back with some more fic recommendations!! Fanfic writers need more love so I try and make these big shoutout posts every so often to show they deserve to be appreciated! I try my best to engage with my favorite writers but sometimes I get caught up and forget! So this is my way of showing my love!! If you read any of these and enjoy let the writers know! 

Harry Styles Fics: 

Take it Slow and My everything by @atlafan - I recommended TIS before, My Everything is the sequel and it does NOT disappoint.  She’s taking a brief hiatus to focus on a NEW story I also highly recommend which is Florist!Harry.  Oh also her college!Harry blurbs under “Lock the door” is phenomenal. Read it ALL!!! 

Y/N is taking care of Harry’s boss and she’s absolutely smitten by @jawllines - Long fic that’s AMAZING. It literally got be through 2 days of work lol. I don’t want to spoil anything because honestly the element of surprise was one of my favorite parts of this! so go read!! 

Roses and Vanilla by @goldenfeelin - Such a sweet sweet cute fluffy piece!! I re-read it often, it makes me smile :) love love love!! it’s long and overall well written and yeah just good vibes no stress read 

Magazines, Meddle, & Mushrooms by @avhrodite - This... literally gave me an OBSESSION with 70s!Harry jfc.  It’s kind of magical reading this, I almost, like, feel high and hazy with the characters and it’s a lot of fun to read and the smut? amazing. Ugh, just VIBES the whole time. Also if you like the vibes of this she has another one called “Woodstock” which is also *chefs kiss* 

Athens by @moonchildstyles - okay, kind of cheating here but not really.  Right now only part one of Athens is on her Tumblr bc she’s posting quicker (or exclusively I forget sorry!!) to her patreon for this story.  HOWEVER I recommend even just reading the first part (and if you can afford to join her patreon freaking do it yesss) but she also has some of my favorite fics up on her masterlist on Tumblr!

Fresh Daises You Can’t Keep by @milliondollardolan - Okay like, I don’t have words for this? just read it man.  Basically it’s a story between a nanny and Grayson but it’s SO good and SO well written and interesting, im always so excited for updates.  Also the title is so cute! I'm into the mutual pining 

Alpha by @deeperdolan - okay read the fic and read ALLL the concepts and blurbs. I literally check the tags for her alpha!gray stuff because it’s so good.  Sexy and cute and domestic ugh, it has it all.  I love it so much and one of my favorite tags to look at, like daily lol. 

Yesterday by @persistence-ofmemories - When I tell you I'm HOOKED on this story.  Grayson tweeted the other day and I literally forgot it wasn’t the Grayson in the story.  You get INTO it.  Also the main girl (Marisol) is Latina and I appreciate stories that have a Latina cause I can feel more connected to the story and honestly the Spanish makes me happy lol (im Latina, if y'all didn’t know). Anyways, besides all that I swear this whole story will have you hooked. 

Daddies Girl by @dolandolll - I check for updates everyday just because I'm so on my toes with this.  also everything she writes is wonderful and I re read a lot of Leah’s fics

Nothing Compared to You by @episkygrant - so you’ll find this story in her concepts masterlist (with is within her bigger masterlist at the end) anyways, it’s so good! I love the story line (professor x student vibes) and truthfully, anything Isabella writes is ART.  It’s crazy she writes SO MANY STORIES and just never misses.

Now listen, I have a lot to say about a lot of writers on here (I have been sitting here waiting for someone to ask me for recs bc boy do I have them). The writers on here are some of the most talented people I know, and you can’t go wrong with literally any of them.

First off, we HAVE to start off with my beautiful lynds @vintagedolan. Find her masterlist here! She, my friend, has a whole bunch of amazing blurbs and one-shots for both the boys, ranging from smut to fluff to angst. Hands to yourself is absolutely fabulous, alone fucking comes for my throat, and if you want something less smutty I recommend genius but tbh read everything on her whole ass Tumblr if you have the time. She’s is a fabulous writer, amazing gifer, and one of my favorite people in the whole wide world.

Next we have areana @deeperdolan. Find her masterlist here! She doesn’t really write the boys famous, but her stories are so fucking unique and well thought out, I absolutely fucking die for alpha!gray (no it’s literally one of my favorites things in the whole world). She deserves all the love and praise she gets for her writing bc she is so. fucking. talented.

Now we have to talk about miss pao @persistence-ofmemories. Her stories.......holy shit is all I have to say. Both spaces and papo are fucking crack and you NEED to catch up on that shit because holy shit. She just has such a fucking way with words that I can’t even describe. Just fabulous 10/10 would recommend.

All I have to say about Sarah @milliondollardolan is hot. damn. Her nanny series is so fucking good, and everything she writes is just......wonderful. She’s so talented and I just need to to read everything she writes lmao.

I’m just gonna tase Morgan’s @vinylhazza whole masterlist because you just can’t go wrong. You literally can’t. Pick anything from that last and you’ll be happy. She’s so talented and sweet and I love her so much.

Riah @plantbasedgray is..........so fucking talented?????? Like holy shit?????? Like also just gonna tag her whole masterlist bc you need to read the whole thing. Everything she writes has me feeling a type of way, she’s so descriptive and I just love it all so much.

i feel like they would’ve met through friends - so Y/N kind of already knows about the werewolf stuff. She’s just not as educated on it because humans just aren’t taught that stuff. But her parents didnt want her ending up with a werewolf - they were strict, they were very laid back parents, but this rule really stuck. But Y/N went against their rules anyways.

Grayson was nervous.

He had never been on a blind date before and he had never been with a human either. He was waiting for a mate, but it just seemed like they weren’t there. He felt like the moon goddess just decided that there would be no mate for him. Usually, mates are found at age 18. After that age, youre usually frowned upon. But because he’s the alpha, they don’t talk shit. So, with that, graysons just trying to find someone.

Someone’s that’s willing to fuck, go out for dinner once or twice and then that’s it. Someone to basically fill up his time.

Y/N walked in, looking as beautiful as ever and graysons heart stopped. He was close to turning when he saw her. Her short red dress, her black dirty converse, the weird amount of bracelets on her wrist.

Liana Summers, 18, just graduated high school, non-believer of "myths".

Ethan Dolan, 19, soon to be Alpha, Alpha leader of the packs son.

Sean and Lisa Dolan, Alpha and Luna of the Dolan Pack.

Grayson Bailey, 19, Beta, Ethan's best friend.

Madison Morrison, 19, Beta, Liana's best friend. (Doesn't know about her being a wolf.)

Background Knowledge

Madison and Liana have been friends since middle school. Madison has recently been bailing on Liana for reasons Madison won't say. One night Liana decides to follow Madison into the woods. Unknowingly walking in on a mating tradition.

Ethan and Grayson ARE NOT RELATED but grew up in the same pack. Grayson's dad, a beta, is head Beta for the pack. He is Sean's right hand man. Ethan's parents, Lisa and Sean, have decided he start looking for a mate. Sean is sick and not healing as fast as they'd hoped. If something were to have happened to him, Ethan would need to resume his position as Alpha leader of the pack. Doing so, with a Luna would be easier and the best way to go.

Relationships/End Goal Pairings

Grayson stays single but becomes Liana's best pack friend.

Explanation

Now I’m not sure if you guys know what omegaverse is. So to be kind, I will be explaining it the best way I can.

We have alphas, omegas, and betas. Alphas are the leaders of the pack and their wife or mate is otherwise known as the Luna. When they mate, {basically just having sex}, the Luna would become pregnant with the Alphas offspring. The Alphas have a knot and if you let it empty inside of you their is a very likely chance of you becoming pregnant.

Now this part is only in my story, I’m not sure if this is actually what would happen in other omegaverse stories. All pack Alphas, and their alpha children, do this tradition where they gather all the omega and beta, men and women, from the pack and they all run and hide throughout the forest. The Alpha will pick up the scent of his mate and then go and find her. Betas, are the wolves that are the closest to humans. Omegas would go into heat and when they do all they want is an alpha with them to keep them safe or um 😳 you know with them.

ahhh okay so an anon sent me a concept only tumblr published it before i was ready so i deleted it like an idiot 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️

first of all, hi anonny💙 (i hope you see this btw) i actually wrote something similar to this!! i have a blurb of frat!gray punching a hole in the wall when he sees his girl who’s not his girl with someone else & i have a fic called make it nasty where frat!gray gets super jealous of his best friend/crush dancing with someone else.

now to the concept: the whole thing started because grayson was flirting with a girl from ADPi who he has previously hooked up with. frat!gray is a natural flirt with hooded eyes, and gentle touches, always down to make a girl feel a little bit special whether it’s for some clout or to have them come dance with him. however, he really likes his fwb; that’s his girl. although, he definitely has a double standard when it comes to her; he doesn’t like when she flirts or dances with other people at fucking all and she knows that, but he does it all the time and it infuriates her.

• you would walk in to the party, immediately looking for grayson, since he’s the one who invited you to this party in the first place. you’re in a sorority but your sorority isn’t super close with his—your sorority, Alpha Phi, hangs out with Sigma Chi, while Grayson’s frat, Sigma Pi, usually hangs out with the girls from ADPi. you were friends with a few of the girls from ADPi, but not nearly as close with them as you were with your sorority sisters.

• eventually, you found grayson in the kitchen, a hand stroking callie mchenry’s hip as he whispered in her ear. her dazzling smile and blushing cheeks confirmed your worries and your heart sank to your stomach.

• you immediately rushed over to the counter nearest grayson, scooping some punch out of the sink, making sure your heels clicked loudly as you made your way next to him. “‘scuse me,” you snarled as you walked past the two who were huddled closely near the doorway. graysons could feel his heart start to race; he was both excited that you were here, but annoyed that you had caught him flirting. “you’re here? when did you get here? you were supposed to text me.” callie’s smile slipped off her face at the diversion of grayson’s attention.

“gray, we were in the middle of a conversation—,” callie tries, placing her hand on his forearm.

grayson looks at her with boredom in his eyes, slight annoyance tracing his features, “i’ll find you later, cal, okay?” grayson places his hand on her back in an attempt to scoot her out of there and y/n’s rage only grows. who the fuck did grayson think he was trying to control girls the way he did? you knew he was bad news, but god if he didn’t just make your heart race in the most intimate of ways. he was enraging, and enticing, and enamoring. however, clearly he didn’t feel the same way since when you had hooked up yesterday, he told you he was thinking about you two being exclusive rather than just being the standard booty call. you felt like the biggest idiot.

• callie left the room with a sigh, her head hung a little low. you felt bad, especially since you related on a multitude of levels, but right now you were pissed. you took a long swig of your drink, the liquor burning down your throat much how your stomach burned with anger.

• “when did you get here?” grayson repeated as he leaned back on the counter, his heartbeat picking up. he can’t believe you saw that; just his luck. he would make a step toward committing, drunkenly flirt and get fucking caught. his flirting wasn’t even because he wanted callie either—you were late. well, you were a little late, and grayson was drunk and panicked. panicked that you got freaked out at his desire to be exclusive. panicked that you found someone better, someone who was smarter, and more mature. panicked that you left him.

• you promptly ignored him, surveying the room before taking another sip of your drink. grayson rolled his eyes, “you’re really gonna ignore me? what are you? five?”

• you could feel your own jaw clench, “me? i’m the five year old? yesterday you told me you wanted to be exclusive and today you’re over here groping another girl. i think we both know who the real five year old is.”

• grayson’s jaw clenched, “you’re the one who’s late! i thought you were ditching me—christ, y/n. also, for the third time, why didn’t you text me when you were here?”

• “i did, asshole. look at your phone,” you bit back, hands on your hips indignantly.

• grayson pulled out his phone from his back pocket to see three missed texts from you. his phone on do not disturb. his face grew hot and his stomach started to churn; he had fucked up.

• “y/n—,” grayson began, his hazel eyes pleading.

“save it, i’m so sick of this. fuck being exclusive, honestly. you can’t even keep your hands off another girl when i’m not in the same room as you. i’m all set, dolan,” you snapped, your eyes burning a bit. you weren’t sure if it was the bright lights, the alcohol, or the smoke filled room, but you would drop dead before you let grayson dolan saw you cry over him. you hated yourself for the pure fact that you said that you were all set with him because you knew in your heart you’d be back with him eventually. he was like a jello shot; cute, delicious, and so, so easy to drink, but dangerous when consumed in copious amounts.

• “c’mon, y/n, you know i wanna be exclusive, don’t be like this,” he pressed on, holding onto your wrist. you looked at the floor throwing your head back from a second to blink back tears before your eyes shot daggers at him. “don’t tell me not to ‘be like this,’ grayson. you can’t even keep it in your pants when i’m five minutes late to a goddamn house party. what makes you think i’d wanna be exclusive now? come find me when you’ve matured a bit.”

• an hour later after downing several shots of fireball with a few girls from ADPi who were in your environmental science class you were definitely drunk and definitely looking for somebody to dance with. you left the girls to go to the bathroom and when you came out you stumbled into a body. “whoops, my bad,” they apologized taking a moment to steady you. you looked up at them; blue eyes, dark brown hair, with freckles across the bridge of his nose. this boy was very pretty, and would make an incredible distraction.

• you discovered his name was drew, and after many soft touches, in addition to some lingering stares, you two eventually made it out onto the dance floor. the bass of an a$ap ferg some reverberated throughout the house, and with the alcohol coursing through your veins you felt even more daring than usual. you wanted grayson to see you, let him know you were already over whatever games he was playing, so you made sure you two stopped right in front of the speakers, where you knew, ethan, grayson’s brother was usually posted up.

just as you anticipated, ethan was in charge of the playlist. with phone in hand, he was slightly distracted as a pretty girl with long blonde hair had her hands wrapped around his neck, her fingers intertwined through the ends as she whispered in his ear. as soon as the song was about to come to an end, you made sure to turn you two around so you were facing the table with the speakers. your ass was pressed tightly to drew’s front, your arms swung carelessly around his neck, his mouth attached to your neck.

• grayson could see you from the top of the stairs and he could feel his face growing hot with rage. he knew it was hypocritical, but fuck did he hate this. he hated the idea of someone else’s hands, lips, or body touching you. it made his skin crawl, his jaw sore from clenching it and his stomach feel sick. he had never felt like this over any girl and the fact that he was the cause of a.) catching feelings and b.) driving you away was beyond frustrating.

• with a clenched jaw grayson glared at you, willing you to look up. after a few minutes with no luck he stomped down the stairs, drink sloshing in his hand as some of it spilled over the side. as he made his way closer his mouth fell open. it would be drew anderson who was dancing with you; the guy was constantly living in his shadow, running for VP of Sig Pi and losing to him, constantly challenging him to drinking games and losing, anything he could to one-up him. leave it drew to be the one to go for his girl.

• grayson walked over immediately, liquid courage charging his rage and causing him to bump into drew’s back. in surprise drew flew forward, sending you flying. to ensure you didn’t fall, drew held tighter to you, his neck craning around to confront the offender. “what the fuck, dolan? you good?” drew snapped, his hands resting on y/n’s waist. grayson could feel himself grow sicker by the second.

“i’m pretty fucking good, anderson. how are you?” grayson sneered, looking you in the eyes the whole time. you refused to break eye contact; this wasn’t fair. he couldn’t just have his hands all over someone else and then act like a brat when you did the same thing.

“uh, good?” drew replied awkwardly. with a bright smile, drew turned to you, pulling you in closer to his side, “this is—.”

“y/n,” grayson interrupted. “yeah, i know, and you know i know, so let’s cut the bullshit, anderson. go find someone else’s shadow to chase, would ya? always crawling up my ass, trying to be me or something—just fuck off and find someone else’s girl to hang all over.”

drew stiffened, and he immediately let go of you as his hands drew into fists, “excuse me? who the fuck do you think you are?”

• you eventually ended up pulling grayson away, his chest heaving, sweat beading on his forehead with rage and tears of frustrating brewing. he was drunk, he was hurt and he was pissed.

“gray, what’s your problem? you’re the one who was flirting with someone else in the first place but as soon as i do it, you act like i fucked the whole frat. stop being such a goddamn brat.”

“i’m the brat?! i’m the brat? i’m the one who’s been trying to apologize to you the whole damn night and you’ve been out talking to other dudes. christ, whos the hypocrite now? two wrongs don’t make a right.”

you rolled your eyes so hard you could only see the white or your eyes for a brief second.

“oh shut the fuck up, because you’re so angelic. i’m not in the wrong here—you are. now either commit or don’t grayson but i’m sick of playing games.”

“commit? why the fuck would i wanna commit to you when all you do is bitch at me and run around with my frat brothers? christ, you’re exhausting.” your mouth fell open as your stomach dropped. he didn’t want to commit anymore? you’d taken this too far, you should’ve shut your mouth when you had the chance. but at the same time, did you really deserve to be treated like this?

“i’m done. call me when you grow the fuck up, grayson.” you turned on your heel, and that was when impulse took over his body. he pulled you towards him and kissed you hard. almost like a magnet, your hands were immediately drawn into his hair, your mouth granting his tongue access. grayson’s hands we’re wrapped around your waist as his fingers traced lines that burned your torso up and down, his touch making your hairs stand on end.

you broke apart, out of breath and pupils dilated. “i’m done—just wanna be yours, y/n. i’m sorry—i know you’re not gonna believe me, but watching you with someone else tonight hurt. hurt so bad.” grayson took a deep breath to steady himself, and you placed your hands on his chest reassuringly. “i’m insecure, alright? shit, you’re stunning, and funny, and charismatic and so fucking smart and i could never hold a candle to you. when i didn’t get your text, i freaked out—i thought you’d changed your mind and i wanted to get my mind off you.” grayson’s gaze diverted to the floor, the emotions he was unleashing almost pouring out of his eyes. “i wanna be exclusive. i wanna be exclusive so bad, but i’m fucking scared. i know you’re too good for me and it’s terrifying, i feel so much for you it scares me.”

“really? me?” grayson nodded, his eyes slowly picking up from the floor.

“grayson, i am not too good for you, holy shit. but we gotta stop these games, it’s so stupid and i can’t keep doing it. you crush my heart when you fuck around with other girls,” you admitted honestly, biting your nail nervously at his response.

grayson nodded sadly, acknowledging his mistakes. “i know—and i’m so fucking sorry. so, so sorry. i’ll spend the rest of the night and this week, this month, hell, this year making it up to you. i can’t let you go.”

mirroring his actions, you nodded, “well, we can be exclusive, but on one condition.”

“anything.”

“you take me upstairs right now and show me just how sorry you are,” you purred, hand slithering down his chest.

grayson’s face lit up with a smirk, as he leaned over to murmur in your ear, “can’t wait to get you in my bed, gorgeous. you better scram like a good girl, so everybody in this party knows you’re fuckin’ mine, and nobody else’s.”

a shiver ran up your spine as you nodded, and grayson grinned, turning to lead you two to the stairs, his hand squeezing your ass every so often as you two climbed up towards a night full of apologies, intimacy, and love marks.

Here’s the thing about omega y/n she is secluded taught to constantly stay away from the Alphas that went to her high school. So the day she was walking and ended on the ground after a thud took her back. “Sorry about your shirt” Y/N hadn’t even noticed the massive stain of red from Ethan’s Gatorade that now littered her shirt. She looked down seeing it seeping through the thin white fabric she had on. 

“I, Uhm it’s alright Alpha”

“Call me Ethan Omega” She something about Y/N confused Ethan. He felt for her something that he hadn’t felt for anyone. He didn’t feel power over her like he did everyone else. He didn’t know what was going on but he knew he wanted to get to know her. “Come with me and I’ll get you something to wear”

“No, it’s alright Alp, Ethan” Y/N didn’t understand what was going on she didn’t quite get why this Alpha was being so nice to her. She never had that before with anyone Let alone an Alpha. 

“I insist Omega” She listened instantly not wanting to upset the Alpha. Ethan was ecstatic, he wanted to touch her to feel her. He felt an urge he had never felt before.  He led her to his locker and handed her an extra shirt that he had. “I’m sorry again Grayson and I were running and screwing around I hadn’t seen you”

“No one does”

“I do”

“what?”

“I notice you”

“Well yeah cause you ran into me”

“no I mean, something about you I just… Omega I think I’m falling for you” See Y/N didn’t understand that. Why would an alpha fall for her she was just an Omega, but in reality, Y/N didn’t really care about that. The way Ethan looked at her was as if he was expecting her to drop at his feet. But though Y/N was reserved she was most definitely not that girl. Part of her didn’t want to test the Alpha but the other part was telling her to. Telling her that if she mattered he would at least try. I mean she never really talked to Ethan before the spilling incident so she needed to know. Needed to know she wouldn’t be hurt. 

“Gonna have to try harder than that Dolan, I may be an omega but that doesn’t mean I’ll drop at your feet instantly” Before Ethan could even respond Y/N was walking into the bathroom to change her shirt. So he waited till she came back out.

“You know I like how feisty you are. I never met an omega like that, but at least give me a chance”

“Okay Dolan” With that Y/N walked away Ethan stood in shock. No one ever treated him that way, but something about it intrigued him. But there was a problem after he left he felt almost empty. He wanted, no needed to see her again. 

AHHH I hope you guys like this. It’s my first concept and first time writing Alpha/Omega myself. I left it with an open ending so we could talk. I don’t even know if it’s great but here it is.
