Okay. So. How about a 90s sorta online dating Harringrove AU that's also omegaverse where Steve is a very picky omega and he's had so many matches to his dating profile bidding for his attention and he knows he's like the creme de la creme, the bees knees, rare and beautiful and smells the best and most intoxicating scent that it makes everybody stupid to a point that it's gotten pretty dangerous. But he doesn't mean to be picky, he's always wanted it easy as much as the next guy, it's just that he has the most sensitive nose, ever since he was a kid, even gotten worse after he presented, and just a whiff of any scent he can't particularly stand he gets the most godawful allergies and sneezes and sometimes even coughs his lungs out if it's really strong and bad. And there aren't really meds for it. He can use scent blockers on himself, but that's it, that's the only extent of protection their health care system has right now for his case.
So he's lonely, he's become a really lonely guy, can't really leave the house without a mask on like he has seasonal allergies all year round, hard for him to make friends and keep them when he can't really see them for too long, even harder for him to find someone he likes. Since he works at home anyway, he resorts to online dating. Because why not? He's desperate. It's the 90s, there are tons of lonely people out there who are completely normal and aren't complete pervs. It's what he tells himself. Now that he's looking at an overwhelming amount of matches, with countless alphas and betas who keep sending his P.O. box all kinds of things that carry their scent for mate matching, Steve has his pick of the litter so to speak, only it's twice as awful, has become a great inconvenience because he has to smell each one, each damn sealed and ziplocked package. It's become literal hell. He can't believe romance in the 20th century has gotten to this. Just when he's gotten sick and tired and literally exhausted from sneezing and coughing, just when he thinks he can't smell a damn thing anymore and has to air out the whole damn apartment from all the nasty foreign smells from strangers, he finds it. Smells it. Right before he almost throws away all the bags in the garbage shoot, he gets a whiff that escapes a not-so-sealed bag.
It's from a shirt.
The most heavenly, mouth-watering scent of an alpha is coming from a pit-stained, worn-thin, hole ridden, a little dank, shirt. Steve doesn't know how to react because it's so careless and unthoughtful and lazy, and the most disgustingly amazing and stupidly addictive scent he's ever smelled in his entire pathetic omega life.
Which belongs to one Billy Hargrove.
The douchiest asshole in the great Chicago area with the prettiest bluest eyes, the embodiment of everything Steve hates in an alpha, all cocky and charming and oozing with unrighteous confidence, his dating profile consisting of a bunch of half naked pictures of him flexing the muscles of his muscles, hobbies are getting his dick wet, his knot popped and looking at himself in the goddamn mirror, sweet words filled with bad intentions.
But Steve can't help but stuff his face of Billy Hargrove's disgustingly damp shirt, can't help but drool and moan on it while he touches himself in his underwear, spreading the wetness between his thighs, he comes hard. For the first time in a long time, he comes easy.
He sends him an e-mail. Fed-exes his underwear to Billy Hargrove's P.O. box the next day. There are tons of lonely people out there who are completely normal, and who aren't complete pervs, of course. But Steve isn't one of them.

To B, With Love Chapter 11
Tumblr media
💕 Moodboard by  @prettyboylikeyousteve   💕
Genre: A/B/O Mail Order Bride Au!
Rating: Explicit
Pairing: Harringrove
Summary:  Steve, a society omega, puts out an add in the paper looking for an alpha among the lonely hearts expanding the west.
Preview: He leaned closer to the omega, the finger pressed to his bare flesh digging deeper before the omega spread his hand to push back against his advance. Billy stopped, their faces inches apart, his gaze falling to Harrington’s lips, slick from where his retreating tongue had wetted them and fallen slightly open as the omega’s breath turned shallow. It was everything Billy could do not to kiss him. He looked at him instead, basking in the heat reflected back at him.
“There’s a lot I could teach you.” Billy offered.

Long time Listener, First time caller here when it comes to Slick Sunday, Here's an AU I've been playing with. Basically the thought process for this one was "Wow, S3 Steve is a bit of a bimbo --> I wonder why he's like that --> the Russians must have put something in the mall water" and then making that "something" ABO bitching juice (STAY WITH ME I PROMISE IT MAKES SENSE). So, here's how it goes:
Alpha!Steve gets the job at Scoops Ahoy, normal setup all that, and while he's there he's making ample use of the sink in the back of the shop to hydrate throughout his shifts, even though there's a sign that clearly says "hey man don't drink this". Robin thinks he's being an idiot but Steve says that it'll be fine, its not like its contaminated with anything. Over the course of the summer though, Steve gradually notices something is up. His scent is all fucky, he's tired, and omegas aren't responding to him the way they used to. But he brushes it off and thinks "ok its just because I'm tired" and carries on. This comes to a head when the Scoops Troop gets caught in the Russian base. During the interrogation one of them notices Steve's predicament and laughs about it before dumping him in the room with Robin. Steve doesn't catch much other than the word "omega" and "сука" (Which is Russian for Bitch). He sort of puts together what they mean, but it doesn't click until after the fight with the Mind Flayer (One notable mention about that, Billy survives with major injuries, this is a surprise tool that will help us later). Steve goes home, and basically the moment he feels even a tiny bit safe, his body launches itself into a presentation heat. Which obviously scares the fuck out of him because what the fuck, it's impossible for bitching to happen without another alpha, but here he is, with a brand spanking new cunt and a whole new set of problems to deal with. He and Robin work out that the forbidden sink water was probably laced with something meant to keep the people in the mall from noticing the weird shit that was happening, and by drinking it Steve may have ingested enough to make his dynamic shift. And not just shift, but shift HARD. See, Steve is now something of a super omega, he has stronger, more frequent heats, he's basically always in pre-heat, and according to the doctor who takes a look at him, they're not going to get any better. Oh and suppressants now do less than jack shit for him. So Steve is stuck like this, with no solution except the exceedingly notable exception of having a baby. The doctor says that if he's pupped, he may be able to control future heats better, and potentially return to normal baseline omega levels (returning to being an alpha isn't possible but Steve is not worried about that). After much deliberation, he decides that having a whole ass baby is better than the constant nightmare that is his heats, and so he hits up someone he thinks will be willing to hit it and quit it.
Eddie Munson does not want to hit it and quit it but the very pretty boy is basically begging him to help so he does, with the knowledge that Steve explicitly is not looking to be mated and will basically want nothing to do with him after, which is heartbreaking a little bit because Eddie wants to be a father SO BAD MAN. And if Steve had ASKED he would KNOW that but they're both idiots. So Steve is pupped, he's probably gonna get kicked out if he's unmated and he thinks Eddie wants nothing to do with him. He's not sure what to do about that until he's approached by Billy (Who in this au, despite being an asshole, is a morally okay guy who doesn't want to see Steve in trouble) Billy essentially offers to pose as the pups father, so Steve can have his damn baby in peace and get on with his life. Of course, he doesn't mean to catch feelings but we all know how this goes. Cut to a few months after Steve delivers twin pups, and who arrives at his door but Eddie, begging to see the pups and be present in their lives. What happens next is up to you, personally I am partial to Harringroveson (Metalsandwich) raising the pups together but there are opportunities for angst galore if you're down with that.
Happy Slick Sunday! Hope this is enjoyable lol :>

*~*~*~*~*~*
Something about today as you woke up just felt wrong. The sun lit the room through your window, bathing everything in its golden rays. You blink wearily against the light, pulling your baby blue comforter around your shoulders, something deep in your gut is begging to stay, to avoid the day like it and everyone in it didn’t exist; but the yelling from down stairs won’t allow it. So with no other choice you throw the covers to the foot of your bed and shuffle to your closet.
“Well about damn time.” You amble into the kitchen, meet not only with the sour look on your mother’s face but the almost permanent ring of smoke circling her head. Ignoring her you head straight for the fridge. The hinges creak, the small bulb illuminating the nearly empty shelves as you snatch up the brown paper bag.
“Listen, Jerry is taking me out later so I’m not gonna be home, fend for yourself. ” Her scratchy voice irritates you further, your eyebrows furrowing in confusion.
Who? Jerry? Have I met him?
“Okay.” You glance at her briefly, bright pink curlers standing out amongst her greying hair, her attention fixed on the newspaper and Virginia Slims in her hand. The hard lines around her lips have turned her face into a scowl, and you briefly wonder when the last time you saw her smile was.
A horn blares outside in a short pattern, giving you your cue to leave. You force yourself to hurry to the door flinging your pack over your shoulder and shoving your feet into your shoes.
The late summer sun has already started baking the little town, the dew on the grass chilling your ankles as you make your way to the blue Camaro. Music rattles the windows as the driver drums to the beat on the steering wheel. You can faintly make out his head bobbing, blond curls swaying with the movement.
You pull the door open and flop in ungraciously, letting your head fall back against the leather seat with a groan. “Well good morning to you too, sunshine.” Billy laughs from beside you as he starts to reverse out of your drive way, an unlit cigarette hanging from between his lips.
“Nothin’ good about it.” You mumble, only loud enough for him to hear over his music.
He glances at you fully, focusing on the bags under your eyes, how your skin is slightly paler than usual. You’re dressed simply in an old black shirt with your favorite jeans, the jeans you almost always wear because you’ve ‘broken them in just right’.
“You feeling okay?” Billy flicks off his music as he peels off down the backroad towards school, the long way.
You let your head lull to the side, managing a small smirk at the fact that you two had unknowingly coordinated your outfits, yet again. Though he fills his shirt out more, the arms tight on his biceps just how he likes, the bottom tucked into his jeans military style. “I don’t know. I just feel… weird.” You make a face, focusing back on the road watching the green trees zip by. The leaves are starting to brown, a result of being at the highest point of summer.
Billy pulls his own face, propping his elbow on the door, he pulls the cigarette from his mouth, twirling it between his fingers. “Weird how? Like sick weird, throw up weird, period weird-.”
You groan again cutting him off, rubbing a hand over your eyes. “Just weird. I just want to go back to bed.”
“Wanna play hooky?” It’s a genuine question and you like the idea of it, a lot, but you shake your head.
“No. It’s the day before break and if they find out you’re skipping again you’ll get a detention.” Billy rolls his eyes, but doesn’t argue because he knows you’re right.
The rest of the ride is comfortably silent, letting you doze off for a few more precious moments before the engine dying startles you awake. You sit up straighter, running your fingers through your hair as you glance around, suddenly catching Billy’s unwavering stare.
“What’s that smell?”
A look of horror crosses your features, suddenly grabbing your shirt to bring to your nose. “What smell? I smell?”
“No, no, no. like… did you get a new perfume?” You shake your head slowly, watching him try to piece together in his head what it could be. “It smells good, like really good.” But he can’t put his finger on what exactly it is, so he leans closer, sniffing the air around you.
“God you’re weird.” You laugh, smushing his face with your palm as you push him away. You grab your bag as he mutters under his breath, reaching behind the seat for his own. You both step out onto the gravel parking lot, other student milling about making their way towards either the high school or the middle school next door. You start to walk off, expecting Billy to follow only to have your arm tugged back, stopping you in your tracks.
“Hey, wait.” Billy looms over you slightly, making you crane your neck to keep eye contact. You still weren’t entirely use to that new aspect. “Why don’t you come over tonight? We really haven’t hung out outside of school since…” He trails off, looking at you hopefully and you feel your muscles tighten, prepared to give an excuse.
It’s been months since Billy presented as an Alpha, months since everything between the two of you had suddenly shifted. On top of the ego and hot attitude he already possessed, people suddenly expected more of him, respected him like they hadn’t before. An Alpha in a town run by Betas.
Coming from a family of all Betas, watching your best friend become suddenly so… important made your insides tent with green jealousy. As happy as you wanted to be for him you felt yourself pull away, not wanting to stand in his shadow.
“I don’t-.”
“Look, it’s still me, Y/n. It’s still just Billy. We can grab dinner, watch movies, I’ll even do those stupid mud masks if you want just… just come over.” Please. Billy was never one to beg, but for you he made an exception. He had a soft side he kept behind mean words and cruel actions, and only you were privy to it.
Sighing you glance at the ground, analyzing the different sized rocks and tuffs of grass that managed to grow between them. The yellow dandelions turning their faces to the sky. “Okay… I’ll think about it.”
*~*~*~*~*~*
By lunch time you’ve progressively gotten worse, your body on autopilot as you move at a snails pace from class to class. Even most of your teachers have noticed, their honor student with her tired eyes, deciding to keep their questions for the rest of the class as you struggle to keep up. Currently you sit slumped over your food, your head in your hands, eyes closed and focusing on your breathing.
In your head you’re over thinking everything it could be, from the mild to the extreme. The flu to an aneurism, a common cold to a heart attack. Your paranoia latching on and prying deep. It’s only when you feel a presence creep up on you, no his presence, does something in your chest relax, letting your body shake off the unease.
“Hey, dolly.” Billy’s voice is warm and heavy when he drops into the seat beside yours, throwing an arm around your shoulders and dragging you into his side. The smell of his cologne is almost overwhelming, and it’s different, not the usual one he wears or the one you gifted him for his birthday. Pine, and leaves, and rain but something underneath that is entirely him.
“Hey.” You lean into his touch, your muscles relaxing and a soft sigh slipping past your lips. You don’t bother opening your eyes, just pressing your cheek into his chest, breathing him in.
Billy watches you, the soft lines in your face, the curve of your lips. Something in his brain demands to protect, the impulse so raw that it takes him by surprise. He tightens his grip on you, little to your notice.
“Still not feeling good?” You only shake your head in response. “Still thinking about coming over later?”
Yes.
It’s all you have been able to think about. It wasn’t like you had never spent the night with Billy before, either at his place or your own. That wasn’t what was bothering you.
You’d just never been alone with an Alpha. You’ve only meet three in Hawkins, the chief being one of them, and the other two married and mated. You’d heard the rumors that young Alphas were far more aggressive, unable to restrain themselves if their instincts took over, it was preached in every health class.
But what if he’s right? What if you’re just over reacting?
“Yeah, I’ll come over… but only if we go to Bennys tonight.”
Billy chuckles, and it’s a deep noise against your ear. “You drive a hard bargain.”
*~*~*~*~*~*
Billy had made good on his promise.
He took you straight from school to the Family Video in town, letting you pick out whatever you wanted with the promise that it wasn’t going to be sad.
Then it was on to the little five and dine, Bennys, the one that has your favorite pancakes and fruit salad. He blared the mix tape you had made months ago, despite your groaning, feeling accomplished when he caught you nodding along.
The house is empty and dark, Billy explaining that Neil had taken Max and Susan off somewhere for the week, as the two of you bring in everything from the car. He flicks on the lights as you drop onto the couch, rubbing your clammy palms against the front of your jeans.
Billy hums softly as he walks around the small living room, setting down the movies and food on the low coffee table. He glances over at you, your face pinched, lip caught between your teeth, and leg bouncing a mile a minute.
“Dolly.” Your eyes snap to his, a little wide at the curt clip of his tone. Billy stops in front of you, holding out his hand, watching as you shakily take it, pulling yourself to your feet.
“I think I should go home, really I just feel-.”
“Weird. I know.” He ducks his head slightly, searching your face with sympathetic eyes, “But we’re gonna get it figured out. I want you to go grab a shirt from my closet, get on something comfortable and come back in here.”
His expression leaves no room for argument, so you do as you’re told. His room is lit only by the small desk lamp, but you know you could find your way around in total darkness. Billy always leaves your favorite shirt in the same place in the closet, the stained grey one that reaches the middle of your thighs and hangs loosely about your frame. Leaving your jeans and shoes pooled by the foot of his bed, you steal a look at yourself in his mirror and cringe. You look as tired as you feel, shoulders slumped, ghostly complexion like you’d never seen the sun before.
You turn away with a disgruntled grunt. When you come back out the living room is dark again, the tv and kitchen light your only guide as you pad across the burnt orange carpet. You step around the couch, avoiding the gym equipment laying against the wall so as to not stub your toes like you are prone to do when you are over.
Billy’s dumped fresh popcorn into a giant blue bowl, a snack he knows you can never resist, as he meets you in the arch way. He smiles down at you as he passes the dish over and turns you back towards the couch. Throw blankets are pulled out over the cushions and the tape is already playing through the advertisements. Your meals are set up on your respective ends of the table and you feel something in your heart tighten painfully.
“See, just like old times.”
And he was right.
The night crept away filled with laughter, food, and cheesy horror movies that had you groaning more than trembling. Half way through the first one you’re both complaining about the terrible quality and laughing at the others jokes. Half way through the second you’re throwing popcorn into the air to see who can catch the most while gossiping about the latest ‘Small Town Scandal’.
By the end of the third you’re curled into Billy’s side, his long legs stretched out in front of him as you struggle to keep your eyes open. He’s warm with his arm tucked around your shoulders, and his heart beat is steady against your ear. It lulls you in and out of sleep as the credits begin to roll.
“Billy…” You whisper, poking him in the side with your finger.
“Hmm?”
“Movie’s over.”
He groans and starts to sit up, helping you with a hand on your back. “Next time I pick the movies.” You both sluggishly move to his room, crawling under the grey covers of his full sized bed.
“Told you.” He mumbles, sleep making his voice deep and gravelly. “Right as rain.” You only give a small grunt though a smile pulls at your lips as you nestle under the covers, surrendering easily to the peaceful sleep that over comes you.
For a few hours at least.
*~*~*~*~*~*
You don’t know exactly how you ended up here, but here you are, curled in on yourself on the cold tile of Billy’s ugly green bathroom going into heat.
A heat you aren’t supposed to be having.
Tears steadily stream over your pink painted cheeks as you hug the side of the bathtub, another burning cramp sending a rush of pain through every nerve in your body.
It’s as if someone has doused you gasoline and struck a match. Your body burns from the inside out with an intensity you’d never felt before, the cramps in your lower stomach hurling you into the fetal position as the continue to seize your body. But above it all was the ache between your thighs. Your sex pulsed and squeezed, fogging your thoughts through the waves of arousal soaking your panties and dripping down the sensitive skin of your inner thighs.
Why is there so much?
You desperately try to think about anything you’ve learned over the years about Omegas and their heats, but all you can focus on is the ache in your body. What good are you as a straight A student if you can’t remember a simple health class?
You groan, pitchy and breathless, trying to muffle the noise by biting into your lip. Subconsciously, you’re praying that something, anything, anyone, would save you from this hell as you sob harder, another cramp slicing through your abdomen.
“Y/n?” Billy’s voice floats through the wooden door and you freeze, even the tremors in your muscles stop momentarily. You don’t dare make a sound, don’t even breath as you wait, hoping it’s your imagination until the white door rattles under his knuckles. “Sweetheart? I’m coming in…”
Your head snaps up, eyes landing on the unlocked brass handle and you nearly slip on the small rug in your efforts to get up. A fresh wave of pain seizes your body with a whine as the door swings open.
The low amber light illuminates him against the dark hallway, his curly hair tussled from sleep, pressed down on one side. He’s only wearing those annoyingly short gym shorts, his bronze skin and large frame on display. His chest is rising and falling quickly, like he’d just ran miles to get here.
Billy had woken to that same scent from earlier pelting his senses, stronger, and all fully feminine. Lavender and vanilla and lilac but earthy and natural and purely his. It covered his sheets and comforter and filled his room. He followed it straight to the bathroom, his wolf guiding him more than himself and now he’s entranced, bewitched even as he stares down at you.
Your cheeks are wet, hair teased like you’d been pulling on it. The shirt you are wearing is soaked with cold sweat, and he can smell your slick, making his mouth water.
A deep rumbling growl escapes from his chest before he can even register it’s happening, pulling a submissive whimper from you as you drop onto the edge of the tub, staring wide eyed like a lost puppy. He takes a step closer and you flinch involuntarily, embarrassed and horrified this was all happening right here, right in front of him as your wrap your arms around your center.
“I… I need to go home, Billy.” Your voice is uneven and octaves higher, your chest constricting with each painful breath as your watery eyes drop away from his smoldering gaze. Billy couches down in front of you on the shaggy bath mat, wrapping a large palm around the back of your calf. He gives the tense muscle a firm squeeze, trying to ground you in anyway he can as you whimper and squirm, his presence worsening the pain.
This is what Alphas do to Omegas, unknowingly spur this heat into overdrive.
Billy takes a steadying breath, licking his lips, and searches your tear streaked face. “You’re in heat, little Omega…” It’s like his words amplify everything by ten and your suddenly teetering on the edge of the tub, your hands flying out for support as a wave of pain makes you cry out.
Your palms land on his chest as you finally drag your gaze to his, his blue irises hooded with that animalistic need, mirroring your own. “I don’t… understand… why?” You pant, his scent intoxicating making you lean in, unable to get enough.
Billy only shakes his head, pressing in closer, spreading your knees around his waist as his hand travels up to your thigh. “You’re presenting, it’s going to be okay.” Billy’s other hand finds your hip, and it takes every last bit of concentration you have to focus on him as your sex pulses with need, demanding attention.
“I don’t… I don’t know what to do… it hurts so bad…” Your voice breaks, shaking harshly as your hands slip up to the back of his neck, pulling him closer without a thought because he feels so good, so right against your skin as his width presses your thighs farther apart. Billy doesn’t stop you either, his eyes fluttering at the feeling of your fingers tangling into the hair at the back of his neck. Your scent is over powering at this proximity, his grip tightening on your body to control himself.
He coos lightly, his eyes dropping to your lips, specifically your plump lower one now darkening as a bruise forms in the shape of your teeth. “I know baby, I’m here, I’m going to help you.”
“How?” You croak, the uncertainty in your voice stabbing Billy in the chest.
“You trust me right?” He drops his voice to a whisper, his body flush with your own, hands slowly skimming up your body to rest against your neck. You swallow thickly, before nodding. Billy leans forward, closing off that last little bit of distance with a testing kiss.
Need shoots through you, stronger that ever and you respond hungrily. Your arms slip fully around his neck, sliding off of the tub with a desperate moan. Instinct takes over, your submissiveness showing as you open yourself to him, Billy’s tongue licking into your mouth as the kiss turns more wild.
Billy stands, holding you easily with two large hands cupping your ass, as he turns heading for the door. Your legs wrap around his waist, humming into the kiss as he bumps into a wall, his steps uneven as he makes his way into his bedroom.
You gasp for breath as he lowers you both onto the bed, his weight warm and welcoming. “Pretty Omega, my sweet girl.” His lips tickle your ear as he leans in, his hands fisting the blankets by your head as he starts to leave the bed. You whine loudly, your legs locking around his hips forcefully. Billy chuckles, a deep sound that makes your back bow up. “Gotta let go, let me up honey.”
“Please…” You beg, “Don’t leave me, Alpha.” It is the first time you have ever used his new title, his pounding heart going into double time. He shifts his weight, cupping your face with one hand, as your squirm. You desperately try to rut your hips against his, the feeling of having him so close but not close enough making your chest constrict and your head spin.
Somewhere in the back of your lust addled brain you knows you should be embarrassed, your desperation turning you into someone you’re not. But the new beast prowling under your skin refuses to let that happen. She knows just what she wants and will have it.
“I’m right here baby, but you’ve got to let me help you. You can do that, can’t you?” Billy’s words are laced with a calming purr, thumb swiping carefully over your lips, catching on the bottom one and pulling it down slightly. Only when you nod, your limbs relaxing around him, does he let it go with a soft plop. “Good girl.”
He doesn’t bother with formalities, instead gripping the collar of the old t-shirt in both hands and tugging. He rips the worn material down the center, making you yelp in surprise. He’s more forgiving with your panties, fingers dipping below the elastic as he tugs them down your legs. The pale purple cotton is drenched with your slick, turning the color a dark shade that makes him moan at the sight. Billy tosses them over his shoulder carelessly, fixing his attention on your trembling body laid out before him.
“You’re so wet, just fucking drenched.” You jump and moan as he swipes a finger through your puffy lips, watching as your cunt squeezes around air. He wasn’t lying when he said you were drenched, your slick glistening off of your thighs, slipping down the curve of your ass to his bedsheets. The sight alone is enough to have him throbbing painfully in the confines of his shorts.
He can’t help himself as he starts to play with your pussy, barely dipping his long fingers between your lips before dragging them up to your clit. He circles the bud slowly, watching in awe as you respond so eagerly, head thrown back loud moans filling the space around you. You cry an abundance of pleas, his name mixed with any other words you can manage to string together. Your hips rock to take his fingers deeper each time he circles your opening, face scrunched with a mixture of pleasure and pain.
Finally pulling himself away from your body, Billy nearly shreds his shorts in his haste to get rid of them. His cock springs free with a groan, his eyes squeezing shut momentarily as his head drops back. It’s pulsing and uncomfortably hard, beads of milky precum roll down his thick shaft, catching in the corse blond hair at the base.
“Look at me, Omega.” His demand washes over you, compelling you the only way and Alpha can, to do as your told. You lift your head, dazed eyes settling on his handsome face. His kiss swollen lips are parted slightly, eyes wild with need as his gaze consumes you. You never felt more exposed and yet safe at the same time.
Then your eyes flicker lower.
You let loss a wavering moan, fingers curling into the covers as you openly stare. Billy smiles, enjoying the way you follow his hand as he wraps it around himself, pumping his shaft slowly. He’s big, bigger than you would of imagined him to be. His fingers barely wrapping around his girth and if you want to be honest with yourself it’s intimidating.
“Billy… I’ve never…” He climbs onto the bed between your thighs, rough hands slipping down your skin, squeezing the supple fat under his fingertips.
“It’s okay, let me take care of you.” Billy leans down, capturing your lips in a slow, distracting kiss. Your eyes fall shut, arms slipping around his shoulders as he slowly aligned himself with your entrance. He presses forward and you gasp against his lips. The thick mushroom head squeezes in with a soft pop, breaching your walls and already making you feel so full and empty all at once.
Billy’s hand makes it’s way down to your thigh, lifting your leg and spreading you open as he drives his hips forward. He moans loudly, pressing his forehead against yours as he stills, a little under halfway inside you. “Takin’ me-fuck- you’re takin’ me so well.”
Your nails are digging into his skin, leaving big red lines in their wake as you try to hold onto something. You’d feel bad under normal circumstances if it didn’t seem like he was enjoying it so much. Billy’s lips find your neck, nuzzling the underside of your jaw, and trailing down to your shoulder. He’s breathing you in between sloppy kisses, your scent somehow sweeter than before.
“Please… please Billy.” Your leg hooks around his hips to encourage him to move and with one finally thrust he bottoms out into your spasming cunt. Your head presses back into the mattress, a low moan rattling out of your chest as the feeling of it all washes over you. You’re stuffed full, his weight bearing down on you, but for the first time in hours you feel a sense of calm settle into your bones. You were made for him, made just for this.
Billy lifts his head, your eyes catching in the dim light, and he gives you a lopsided smile. He pulls nearly completely out before filling you up again. You cry out his name, voice cracking on the syllables.
“That’s right baby, just like that.” Your walls flutter around his cock, his thrusts evening out as he finds his pace. Your hips rock to meet his, soft noises falling from your lips to accompany the harsh moans leaving him. The head of his cock is kissing your cervix, bringing in an entirely different kind of pain with the pleasure.
“Alpha… please… gonna cum!” Your fingers find his hair, tugging harshly as your body shakes harder. Billy slips his hand between your bodies, rubbing tight circles against your throbbing clit. You scream as your orgasm washes over your body so quickly it leaves you dizzy, your release gushing and coating his cock.
“Fuuuuck.” He squeezes his eyes shut, teeth bared as he fucks you through it. Your cunt trying to milk his own from him as he picks up his pace. You sob loudly, tears rolling down your temples as your hands slip to his sides, urging him not to stop.
“Please… Alpha… I uhh-.”
He slams into you, the sound of skin against skin filling the room. “You’re so pretty on my cock, I just want to keep you here. Fuck your like this for the rest of my life.” His hand skims up to your abdomen, he presses down ever so slightly and you gasp, hips bucking at the sudden pressure. “This pussy was made just for that wasn’t it? Made just for me.”
Billy pulls out at a maddeningly slow drag, your cunt fighting to keep him in as he rubs along every right spot, making pleasure bloom at the base of your spine and radiate outwards. Only the tip of his cock rests between your folds, anticipation and excitement humming adding to the trembling of your limbs.
“Tell me baby.” Billy mumbles, cupping the back of your neck, squeezing and lifting you up from the mattress slightly. Your eyes lazily slide open, a languid smile spreading across your face that makes him falter. His heart suddenly beats impossibly faster, all of his thoughts flying from his brain except one.
This girl is mine.
“S-so good, ba-baby… d-don’t stop.” You stutter out between chattering teeth, hips rocking up taking him a few centimeters deeper.
Billy growls lowly pushing in all the way before pulling back out, he falls forward, bending you nearly in half as he cages you in. His mouth finds yours, sloppy and clashing teeth as his hips piston against yours, driving himself impossibly deeper as you cry and moan for him.
“You feel so fucking good,” He pants, lips skimming along your cheek, past your slack jaw and to your throat, nuzzling the delicate area where he can see your pulse pounding. “Always knew you’d feel this good.”
“B-Billy… Billy I’m gonna…” With each thrust your orgasm draws closer, pushing you to the limits of your pleasure, head tossed back and toes curling as you cling to him. Your cunt squeezes around him, pulsing rhythmically, letting him know you’re close.
“I’m gonna come Y/n, I’m gonna fuck you full of me and you’re going to take it all, are you? Gonna let me breed you, baby?” Billy isn’t graced with a reply, instead your body draws taught against his as you scream his name. Your orgasm rushes over you, washing any sense from your brain as your hips buck against his, and it’s his undoing.
Billy bottoms out, rope after rope of thick cum spilling into your spasming pussy, his knot swelling and locking you in place as he ruts into you. You can feel each pulse, and twitch, his spend filling you and sedating that insatiable need for the time being. Your body relaxes into his, that smile never leaving your lips.
“My Omega.” He whispers against your skin, teeth dragging and scratching your skin as he fights himself, his wolf demanding to lay its claim. “I need you.” He breaths, sinking his teeth into your flesh.
*~*~*~*~*~*
By the time morning seeps in through the blinds, neither of you have slept. Currently your laid out on his chest, the sheet draped over your backside as his seed fills your cunt. Billy’s hand is imbedded in your hair, the other on your hip, gripping you to him as he moans into the air.
It takes several minutes, and by the time his grip slackens there’s a small bulge in your abdomen. You’re blinking lazily, the haze of the night slowly clearing itself from your mind. “Billy?”
“Yes, baby?” His heart beat is evening out, the rhythmic thump seeping into your body.
You swallow, lifting your head and resting your chin on his chest. His eyes are closed, head tilted back relaxed against the pillows. His palm rubs up and down your side, gentle and calm.
Sometime during the night, between lust filled spurts of need, you had felt the mark. Your fingers had traced over the raised indents his teeth had left, several times. The realization that you were mated to your best friend hitting you like a crushing pile of bricks, and yet…
“We’re mated.” You whisper, feeling his chest stutter slightly. He clears his throat, the hand in your hair twitching slightly.
“I should of asked you. I’m sorry.” His voice holds a note of something you can’t place, his eyes are still closed, refusing to look at you. You sit up slowly, his knot still firmly in place, moaning a little at the feeling. That grabs his attention. Billy’s gaze snags on your face, where he finds your softly smile and gentle eyes.
“There are worse people to be mated with, I suppose.” Billy smiles, his hands resting on your hips, his grip firm and comforting.
“Definitely, could of been Danny.” You shudder at the thought of Billy’s little minion of a friend and he laughs loudly. “Come’er.” You happily oblige, kissing him slowly, pouring yourself into him as he does the same. Everything falling into the perfect rhythm.
There are definitely worse ways to find your forever.

Part One
“Hi, Eddie.”
Eddie gives a lopsided smile, digging the ends of his fingers as far as they will go into the too small pockets of his too skinny jeans. It’s kind of endearing, the way he rocks back and forth on his heels like that. He can’t stay still for even a second.
“Harrington.”
Steve’s...he doesn’t like that, “I think you can call me Steve, you know, after...everything.”
“After you pretty much saved my life, you mean.”
Steve rubs at the back of his neck, “yeah, well, I just wanted to make sure, you know, everything is good with you now?” Steve hasn't really had the chance to check; and Eddie might not be his Omega, or anything, but he still kind of feels responsible. Eddie was in a bad way when Billy brought the guy over, and Steve hasn't exactly stopped worrying about the whole thing just yet. Checking in with Eddie will hopefully sooth his overprotective Alpha.
“Am I in need of your penis, you mean?”
“What? No! No, that’s not what I-”
But Eddie’s laughing, “cool your jets stud, I’m just messing with you,” Eddie gives him a soft smile. One that he seems to actually put the effort in with, making sure Steve knows it’s a sincere one. No hard feelings. All of that stuff. “I’m fine. Everything is fine. Thank you for what you did it was...cool of you.”
Steve scuffs his shoe on the floor, “was hardly a chore,” he mumbles. Knotting an Omega is always good, knotting an Omega in heat is always fucking fantastic...and Eddie Munson? With Billy Hargrove’s scent mixed in? Both of them under him, in his bed? Well...Steve’s not even twenty one, and he’s pretty sure his sexual experience just hit it’s peak.
Bit of a depressing thought really, knowing he’s never going to top that.
“Oh ohhhh,” Eddie hums under his breath, like they’re in trouble. Steve finally looks up to see what Eddie means and...Billy’s there. Watching them. A spectacular scowl on his face. Eddie sighs, “better go deal with that,” he says, as Billy turns and stalks away.
“Is he...what’s he mad about? Are you guys...okay?” Steve’s probably prying, but he can’t help it. As spectacular as his memories of that night are, they’re all tinged with a little guilt; he fucked another dudes boyfriend, and not under what he would call the best circumstances. He can imagine how stung Billy is by the whole thing.
“Don’t worry, I’m very familiar with the many scowls of Billy Hargrove. That, my liege, was scowl number four hundred and seventy two; I saved my boyfriends life by getting him stuck on an Alphas knot, and now that my boyfriend has finally experienced the aforementioned knot, he’s going to leave me for the next convenient knot.”
Steve flounders for a second trying to follow what Eddie just said and finally sticks on a couple of key factors, “first time...and leaving him? That was the first time? What? Ever? Are you guys breaking up-”
Eddie rolls his eyes, “if only you were half as smart as you are pretty.”
“I...what?” Steve’s lost now. Was that Eddie’s first time...ever? With an Alpha? Are they breaking up? Eddie thinks Steve is pretty?
“Look, though, on a more serious note, I’ve no intention of breaking up with Billy...I do love him, you know. But that means...this is probably going to happen again, at some point. And congratulations Steve, because you have just become the Alpha I trust the most in the world by a factor of like, a billion, so...would you be up for doing it again?”
“Again?” Steve asks weakly, feeling like he’s lost all sense and direction with this conversation.
“Look, just think about it, okay, no pressure. I need to go and wrangle my grumpy Omega, and we’ll talk later, okay?”
“Okay,” Steve just about manages, as he watches Eddie walk away.

Hello I would like to request an omega billy Hargrove like when he decides to have children with his alpha he starts kinging items for the babe currently he decides to knit a baby blanket and the alpha just praises him (because he needs the praise) for thinking ahead and taking care of the future pup. Because I head canon that omega billy knits after his alpha lets him be an omega and not under the influence of his fathers pressure to be an alpha.
Absolutely yes
🩷☁️🩷☁️🩷☁️🩷☁️🩷☁️🩷☁️🩷☁️🩷☁️🩷☁️🩷
It took Billy a while to be able to admit he wanted kids.
"That looks wonderful baby" (name) said lovingly to his mate, kissing his forehead as Billy tried not to smile under the praise, the Omega six months pregnant and relaxed "how was work?" Billy asked snuggling into him "it was good, nothing too crazy" (name) said watching him knit "you're getting really good at that" (name) commented and didnt miss the happy pharamones that escaped the Omega "you think?"
"Our pup is going to love it"
(Name) was the best thing for Billy, he turned him around for the better and helped the Omega get his shit together and embrace who be was.
He made Billy a better person.
He got him away from his dad, brought Max with them and got them into family therapy and now...
Life was good.
Life was happy.
"I also made little socks and a hat"
"Really? Maybe if you make two more we can all wear matching hats"
"Maybe..." Billy said with a soft laugh and (name) kissed his temple before getting up to make dinner, the meals catering to Billie's needs and cravings.
He was really into broccoli and Swiss cheese.
"I got a recipe from a coworkers mate, a broccoli and chicken pasta dish with cheese" (name) said as he began prep, not missing the curious look of his mate.
Though billy still had bark and sass, he was very docile with his alpha and let him dote and spoil him.
His pup will have a very good sire.

Okay, but..
Omega Steve post heat. He still has a fever, but he’s calmed so much now with the help from his Alpha, Billy.
Billy took such good care of him through it all and now- Now, they’re both perfectly content with laying naked in Steve’s nest made up on their king size bed.
A nest made up of Billy’s clothes for his scent, soft blankets and pillows that Steve scented preheat and some of Steve’s clothes too. All of it covered in their scents completely now.
Steve’s in his element and Billy is just grateful to have helped his boy get through it all. To see him blissed out and happily drunk on Alpha scent now. Fucked out and finally able to relax.
Splayed over Billy’s warm chest, while Billy slowly rubs a cold pack covered in a thin cloth up and down Steve’s back to keep him cool enough to lay there.
Steve’s face tucked close enough to Billy’s scent patch on his neck that he’ll get lungfuls of his scent every time he breathes in. Lets out little chirps and purrs every few minutes, which lets Billy know that Steve is perfectly happy.
They’re claimed to each other and there’s nothing that could make them both happier than this.

Transalpha billy?? Coming back to town and surprising his hometown sweetie Steve??? If you please???
Steve was already moping by the first day.
Billy knew that because Steve had sent him at least 6 different voicemails, whining about being lonely about an hour after he’d gotten off the plane. There was no arguing that Billy didn’t feel lonely too, it had been a long while since he’d spent time without his mate but he was so frazzled after the flight, he didn’t have the energy to respond.
The response Billy got was moping even more.
Heather stared over his shoulder as Billy scrolled through the endless sea of their Instagram messages, eyebrows arched severely in judgement. Her and Robin weren’t that ridiculously codependent, that’s what she’d say, popping gum between her teeth. Well, Heather and Robin weren’t mated. They clearly didn’t get it.
It was just that there were no bottom surgeons in Hawkins (not that Billy ever thought they would be) and Billy already had a strong relationship with a secondary gender reassignment clinic in San Francisco. Steve was notoriously bad at dealing with surgery and had a phobia of flying. It would only be two weeks. Both of them could handle it.
The dreams started during night four. The ones where Billy would stare at his face, distorted into some nightmarish parody of femininity and Steve would stare at him, disappointed. He immediately texted Steve, sweat dripping down his back, when he woke up and Steve soothed, with gentle words.
It helped a little but Billy still wanted to punch something.
His hormone levels were normal, that’s what the doctor said. For someone transitioning from omega to alpha, 2 years and 6 months on hormones, he was doing remarkably. No heats for fourteen months, the beginnings of a consistent rut, only producing slick in very rare occasions. The level of dysporia Billy was experiencing was still incredibly high but he was dealing with it, with the support of his close friends, his sister and his mate.
It was ok, that’s what everyone kept telling him. Billy tried to tell himself that too.
Steve consistently sent him the most ridiculous, adorable selfies. He’d always caption them “trans guy swag” showing off his new beard, impressively thick already. Billy missed him so much. His voice, the way his Star of David necklace would swing when he walked, the inevitable smell of burning whenever he tried to cook.
It was six more days. Then he could fly back. Six more days.
Bottom surgery went fine. He ate a lot of jello when he woke up. That and chocolate pudding. God, he was absolutely fucking starved. Heather was mostly tapping on her phone, ever the “influencer” (Billy was pretty sure she was just scamming misogynistic alphas) but she’d look over at Billy and gently take his hand.
He was cleared to leave a day early. After a quick mental battle, Billy decided not to tell Steve. He’d do that cute face that he did whenever Billy surprised him and that was unmissable. So Billy sent an increasingly stupid set of tiktoks instead and turned off his phone.
Flying back to Indiana with Heather was always going to be an experience but he hadn’t quite prepared himself for just how many episodes of Pretty Little Liars she was going to force him to watch in four hours. And then more on her phone on the drive back. Billy loved her but really she was absolutely ridiculous.
Steve was in his usual place for a Wednesday morning. Sipping a cup of overly strong, overly sweet coffee in the hipster place Billy had introduced him to. Talking to Dustin about something nerdy (probably Top Gun) and Billy decided he was going to sit at the table parallel and see how long it took Steve to notice.
It took two minutes (Steve’s new personal record) before he whipped his head around and tears started forming in his eyes. Billy had to grin and hold his arms out (walking was still a bit of a struggle, as was standing) and just wait for Steve to barrel into him.
He didn’t get reprimanded. Or get Steve jumping into his lap. Instead he just got a soft kiss on his forehead and Steve wringing his hands like he usually did when trying to emotionally regulate
“You’re home”
And really that was all Billy wanted to hear.

You Never Can Tell
This fic is inspired by my Sims Harringrove family, and is a celebration of my 1000 follower count (now it’s more than 1000 but shh act like I had this ready on time.) Omegaverse with Mpreg (With a Twist), Omega Steve and Alpha Billy, SUPER FLUFFY. Also on AO3 here.
Steve didn’t believe he was really going to do this. As if to punctuate the thought, the baby kicked in his stomach, and he instinctively covered his stomach with his hand.
Hargrove couldn’t meet his eye, silently adding a new pillowcase to one of his pillows, but his eyes darted to Steve’s stomach. He’d been trying not to stare, which Steve appreciated, but some things couldn’t be helped.
“Thanks for doing this,” Steve said, trying to keep his voice steady while the baby kicked the shit out of his ribs.
“Don’t mention it,” Billy said gruffly, tossing the pillow onto the thin mattress, “Least I can do.”
That wasn’t true. Billy could do a lot less. Steve had been couchsurfing for weeks, trying to find something more permanent than being hidden in Nancy’s basement, subsisting on pop tarts and whatever Jonathan could spare from dinner.
The situation with his parents had been slowly deteriorating ever since he had to tell them that the alpha was attending university and Steve didn’t want to tell her. Besides, he didn’t really have any attachment to her, and Steve wasn’t looking to turn this into some sort of shotgun mating.
When he’d told his father that he wasn’t interested in repeating his parent’s mistakes and mating the first person that had knocked him up, everything had gone from bad to worse.
Steve thought they would get over it. They thought he would eventually freak and give the baby away or get an abortion. And before it got really bad and they damaged everything forever, Steve had decided to move out.
It wasn’t like they really knew him. At least not all the parts of him. They were practically ghosts to each other, rattling around in a big house, not a family at all. They didn’t understand why Steve wanted this, even if it was hard. They didn’t understand wanting a family, or they wouldn’t have made just a facsimile of one.
And they weren’t interested in having an unmated pregnant omega around, even if he was their son. So it was a surprise that Billy Hargrove was interested. At all.
The alpha had changed since the whole disaster at Starcourt. They all had. But Billy Hargrove going from polite nods in the grocery store to offering to room with Steve and giving up his bedroom for a baby… that hadn’t been on Steve’s bingo card for this year at all.
The next best offer was staying at the Byers, but between El and Hopper, the house was getting fuller by the minute.
Billy plucked Steve’s pregnancy pillow from his arms and laid it out over the center of the bed, “There. It’ll be just like a sleepover.”
“Yeah. Every night.”
Billy laughed, “Just the three of us.”
Steve’s hand fell back to his stomach instinctively.
“You, me, and old reliable here,” Billy patted the pillow, “Unless she has a name.”
Steve huffed out a little laugh, “Not yet.”
Billy eyed the fat pink thing, “Looks like a Dorothy to me.”
Steve smiled, “I think she’s more of a Blanche.”
Billy grinned, sliding a hand along the pillow, “Oh really? My kinda girl.”
“You’re really cool with this? I can sleep on the floor until I get a cot.”
Billy’s scent flared with displeasure, igniting the room quickly and then dissipating, “I’m not making a pregnant dude sleep on the fucking floor. No way.”
Steve was too afraid to ask if Billy would sleep on the floor. He thought Max had mentioned something about a bad back, the doctors having to fuse or nail the lower vertebrae of Billy’s spine.
And besides… it wasn’t like Billy was going to make a move on him or something. There had been a time in high school where Steve had thought maybe, but…
In the dark, trying to get comfortable around his pregnancy pillow, with Billy pumping out calming alpha hormones, that time seemed all too real.
Not that Steve was looking for an alpha. He had a lot on his mind. He’d gone from spending his pitiful paychecks liberally, on treats for Dustin and expensive hair products, to counting his pennies to buy a crib and make up his half of the rent. In the dark, Steve tugged on his too long hair where it curled over his collar.
“Does the baby have a name yet?” Billy’s voice wasn’t quite a whisper, but it wasn’t nearly near his normal speaking voice. The sound skittered across Steve’s skin, painting his cheeks pink.
Steve tugged the pregnancy pillow closer, trying to arrange it so that his stomach was comfortable. This was weird, right? Or is the weirdest part that he didn’t feel all that weird about it.
“I was thinking if it’s a girl… I like Tessa,” Steve mumbled, “And if it’s a boy, maybe like, Ben? Or Benjamin. I dunno.”
“Sounds nice,” Billy did that half whisper thing again.
———————————
Steve had to delay getting the cot because Billy found a deal on a crib, they just had to drive to the next town to get it. Then Billy pointed out that a cot probably wouldn’t be good for Steve’s back and besides, they had a good thing going with Dorothy/Blanche between them. And didn’t it make the most sense for Steve to get stuff for the baby first?
Steve had to admit, he was getting more and more used to this one bed thing. They’d officially moved it into the dining room after Billy built the crib in one afternoon while Steve was at work.
And it got less awkward as time went on. Both the bed thing and the roommate thing. They angled the tv so that they could see it from the bed, and went to sleep watching old movies that Steve brought back from Family Video and reruns and shit, curled around the pregnancy pillow. Steve spent a lot of time readying for the baby in their new room, tucking newly cleaned onesies into the thrift store dresser that they’d found and Billy had kindly painted for him.
Billy was always making too much for dinner because he was used to cooking for his whole family, so there was often more than enough for Steve, and anyone else who came over too. Even Dustin had grudgingly admitted that Billy was a good cook after Billy had made the whole party spaghetti. He’d made fast friends with Robin, and sometimes Steve would go to bed while they chattered away for hours in the kitchen, only waking when Billy slid in next to him, murmuring quiet goodnights.
Some people still found it weird.
“When is he gonna get his own bed?” Max was trying to be quiet, but apparently that didn’t run in either hers or Billy’s family.
Steve balanced the groceries on his hip and shut the door gently behind him, leaning back and stretching out his sore back.
“I dunno, Max, it’s fine,” Billy said back, the alpha’s voice pitched low like a warning growl.
“I just think-”
“Max, lay off, okay,” Billy huffed. “It’s Harrington’s decision. And we haven’t had any problems yet.”
“But it’s not fair, I can’t believe you’re letting it happen.”
Steve frowned, not sure what she meant by that.
“It’ll be fine, Max, you’ll see.”
Max had stalked out, making an indignant noise when she saw Steve at the door, grabbing her skateboard with a huff, and walking out of the apartment.
“What was that all about?” Steve crept around to the kitchen.
“Ah, nothing. She’s just sixteen,” Billy was leaning over a large pot on the stove. “You know. Sixteen year old girl shit.”
Steve didn’t know. He had no idea, actually.
“How does stew sound? I thought Max was staying, so I made too much,” Billy’s shoulders were tensed close to his body.
“Billy,” Steve sighed, resting a hand on his belly, “Maybe… maybe we should revisit me getting the twin bed for the nursery. Besides, I’m getting up like ten times a night to pee. That can’t be good for your sleep…”
“If that’s what you want,” Billy shrugged, “Taste this, let me know if it needs salt.”
Steve carefully lowered himself down into one of the dining tables and obligingly opened his mouth. Billy brought over the wooden spoon laden with stew, that he blew on carefully before feeding it to Steve.
“‘S fine,” Steve mumbled, though he couldn’t say he’d really tasted it.
Billy really was a great alpha, took care of Steve so much. He was close to ending his apprenticeship at the mechanic’s shop, and he was making good money. He wasn’t blowing it on stuff either. He was responsible, and caring.
And Steve was here, sleeping in his bed, taking up the space that would eventually be taken by Billy’s true omega. It couldn’t have been easy for Billy, it would be hard to find someone to date with a random pregnant guy in his bed, eating all his leftovers.
Billy turned to his stew, dancing a little to the old Chuck Berry song on the radio. He lowered the heat and turned the radio up, spinning around and pulling Steve to his feet.
“Billy, I think-”
Billy wrapped one warm arm around Steve’s waist, taking the other hand in his.
“Just dance, pretty boy.”
It was a little awkward with Steve’s belly between them, but Billy spun him around, laughing a little, like whatever argument he’d had with Max didn’t matter. He pulled Steve close, filling Steve’s senses with his cool salty ocean scent and a hint of cigarettes and motor oil that made him a little dizzy. But it wasn’t the pregnancy. No, Steve couldn’t lie to himself that much.
That night in bed, Steve couldn’t sleep. It wasn’t that he wasn’t comfortable. Billy’s bed really was heavenly, soft and plush. He’d admitted to Steve once that this was the first thing he splurged on when he moved out on his own with his money from Starcourt. Not only because he needed it for his back, but because his dad had apparently piled all of Billy’s shit on his old mattress and lit it on fire before skipping town.
And that was a part of the problem. What was Steve meant to do with all of the stuff he knew about Billy? All the small things that Steve had stored up, like a squirrel for the winter. It was all instinct, not something he meant to do. But somehow he started to think of Billy as…
Steve rolled over and watched Billy. His mouth was open, tongue lolling out slightly and drool dripping from his mouth down his cheek into his pillow and rumpled curls.
Maybe Billy wasn’t always the kindest of alphas. He was prone to black moods, withdrawing, sulking in the shower or curling up for long naps. His stories about his childhood made the reason evident enough, but still. He was crass, often loud and made more dirty jokes than a retired sailor.
He apparently didn’t know how to portion a meal, though Steve had a sneaking suspicion that he did. He just wanted Steve to be fed. He built a crib for the baby, gave up half of his bed, working his whole life around a child that he didn’t even know, had no ties to.
And there was the knot of the issue. When Steve had a baby here, with Billy around… it would be like… sort of felt like…
Billy snuffled and rolled closer, throwing a hand over the pregnancy pillow. It grazed Steve’s belly softly, and the baby rolled, moving towards Billy’s warmth.
Steve worried himself to sleep, vowing that in the morning they would have to talk, work something out. Because he was pretty sure if he stayed here much longer he was going to fall in love with Billy, and that could only end badly.
Because Billy was… too good for this. Too good for this situation, too good for Steve, who couldn’t even take care of his own pup, and didn’t know how to budget, hardly knew how to cook…
Steve had fully resolved to cut things off and move out in the morning. He needed to stand on his own two feet. He needed to leave before he…
Steve woke up and at first, he thought something was wrong with him. The only thing he had looked forward to while being pregnant was not having his heat. But he woke up cramping, slick between his thighs.
His eyes snapped open, “B-Billy, I think the baby…”
Billy wasn’t there.
Steve carefully got to his feet. These were probably contractions. He was probably just an idiot.
There was light coming from the bathroom. With every step, it hurt a little worse. It really felt like a heat, not like the doctor or all the books had said labor would.
He knocked softly, “Billy.”
“Go away, Harrington.”
Steve frowned. He thought he wasn’t Harrington anymore. It hurt worse than he imagined it would but he tried to push it aside.
“Billy, I think I’m having contractions,” Steve leaned against the door.
Billy groaned beyond the door, “God fucking… of course… I wanted to be there, Steve. I was really excited to see the baby. But you’ll have to get someone else to drive you.”
“Why?”
“I’m having my fucking rut, I s-shouldn’t leave the bathroom.”
Steve leaned against the door, “Oh.”
“I’m sorry,” Billy said softly.
“No, I… that makes more sense actually…”
“What?”
“I thought I was in heat at first. I’m probably just… y’know…”
“Right.” Billy’s voice was clipped off sharply at the end.
“I could…” Steve’s heart rose. Just a little. In any other circumstance he was pretty sure Billy would turn him down but in a rut… maybe…
“Oh, no,” Billy said swiftly. “No, it’s okay. You go back to bed.”
Steve rested his forehead against the door, and Billy whimpered inside.
“Billy,” Steve mumbled.
“Steve,” Billy groaned, “Go back to bed. I might try to leave, take a drive. Clear my head.”
Steve was pretty sure Billy meant he would go to do something else, but it was nice of him to pretend, for Steve’s sake. And he got the picture, really he did.
Steve crawled back into bed, holding his pregnancy pillow close as he listened for Billy to leave. He pretended he wasn’t crying, like Billy pretended that he was just going to take a drive and not to go find another, better omega to spend his rut with. Just like Steve pretended that didn’t hurt, and that he wasn’t already in love.
Later in the morning, Steve woke up alone for the first time in weeks. He got up and made some toast, even though he didn’t feel much like eating it. He didn’t have a shift today which was a shame, he could have really used some distraction.
Instead, he just wandered around the apartment, picking things up and putting them down. Turning the tv on and off. Going through the baby clothes again, the ones that he’d cleaned and folded with Billy. He sat on the edge of Billy’s bed that he’d increasingly started to think of as their bed, and had leftover stew. The baby was kicking like crazy, and without Billy’s low singing to soothe the baby, Steve didn’t know what to do. Even his baby loved Billy more than him.
The whole thing was making him feel rather pathetic, actually. So when Lucas rang the bell at four, Steve couldn’t blame himself for leaping for it.
“Bi- Oh, hey, man,” Steve bit his lip. Of course Billy wouldn’t ring the bell at his own house. He felt like an idiot.
“Hey,” Lucas smiled, holding out a covered dish. “My mom made some extra casserole, she asked me to bring this over on my way to Mike’s.”
Steve blinked at him, “Does everyone in this whole town know I can’t cook?”
“No,” Lucas didn’t lower his hands, “She really made extra. She told me.”
Steve frowned, but eyed up the container. Whatever it was, it smelled good. Cheesy and potato-y, not like the super healthy crap his mom used to make when he lived at home.
“Okay,” Steve took it, “Fine. Thanks.”
“No problem…” Lucas waved, “Well. See you, Steve.”
Steve came back into the kitchen and frowned, staring at the innocent container. Lucas and Billy weren’t the best of friends, but they’d slowly started to make their peace, even hanging out a few times. It was weird of Lucas not to mention Billy, or to just bring enough for one.
His suspicions were confirmed the next day at work.
Robin came back from lunch, her eyes trained on the floor, “Hey, uh, my mom packed too much in my lunch so I left it out back there.”
“What?”
“My mom made me too much,” Robin noded, sort of weirdly. “I left it out for you, if you don’t want to go to the chinese place.”
“Why would you do that?”
“Because you’re my friend,” Robin bit her lip, “And my mom made too much.”
“Your mom made too much of the same peanut butter, no jelly sandwich, with one apple that you’ve eaten since you were eight?”
Robin’s eyes danced to the Romance section, “Yeah.”
“Spill it, Buckley.”
“I can’t!” She cried.
“Oh, can’t you,” Steve rolled his eyes, “Come on. What’s the deal?”
She gnawed her lip, “So… Nancy called me last night and asked me, y’know, as a favor, to bring an extra sandwich.”
“Nancy called-” Steve wrinkled his nose.
“Well, I guess… Billy’s been holed up at Susan’s, he asked Max and your little brigade of tiny dorks to keep you fed,” Robin frowned, “So Mike thought he’d ask Nancy who asked me. So it’s not like…. A big deal…”
“Not a big deal,” Steve threw up his hands, “Why doesn’t everyone just take an ad out in the paper. Jesus, I knew Billy thought I was pathetic, but-”
“Billy doesn’t think you’re pathetic, dingus,” She rolled her eyes.
“Yes, he does. The other night I even asked him to share his rut with me, because… wait. How would you know what Billy thinks of me?”
Her eyes were still caught mid roll when she froze, cringing.
“What do you know, Buckley,” Steve pressed.
“I mean, I don’t know anything for sure,” She hemmed, sliding around the counter and tugging on her jaunty tie.
“But you know something, don’t you?”
“I don’t know anything,” She sighed, “But… Steve… come on.”
“What?”
“You haven’t spoken to the guy in what, a few years-”
“We waved. Sometimes.”
“And then he comes up out of the woodwork to take you to his small one bedroom apartment,” She smirked, but her eyes got starry. Starry like Doctor Zhivago-y. “And he’s building the crib and taking you to doctor’s appointments, and cooking you food because he knows you can’t cook.”
“I really want to know who told him I can’t cook,” Steve pouted.
“I did,” She took him by the arms, “But the point, Steve, is that he spent his rut locked in a bedroom at his stepmom’s trailer, or did you miss that part?”
Steve twisted a little, ready to deny it.
“And why are you so interested anyway,” Robin smiled. “He’s just free food, right?”
“Billy isn’t just free food,” Steve snapped back.
“Okay. Then what is he?”
“He’s… nice to me. Puts on bad movies and dances with me in the kitchen and drives too fast and…” Steve frowned. “He does stuff for the baby but also there’s other stuff too. It’s like I’m not pregnant or… no… like he’s cool just hanging out with me. And me being pregnant, the baby… that’s all just cool with him. Like he likes… even that part of me.”
Robin nodded, “Yes. And how do you feel about that?”
“I really… I fucking miss him, Robin,” Steve doesn’t immediately recognize the feeling, but the baby kicks like he finally hit the buzzer.
“Yes,” Robin nodded, “Now, when he comes out of rut, I don’t want to hear anything about how you’re a bad omega or some shit. Go get your man.”
Steve intended to. The only thing was it turned out to be slightly harder to get your man when you started to have contractions near the end of your shift. Steve had heard that the first time giving birth there was plenty of time, but that really didn’t seem to be the case. All too soon, it got out of hand. He called and left a message at Susan’s, hoping maybe Billy might be able to hear it if he wasn’t banging some other omega across the mattress. And Robin insisted that she could drive him with her learner’s permit, but the drive to the hospital had also taken about two decades off of his life.
It shouldn’t matter that Billy wasn’t there. He wasn’t really the baby’s dad. Robin was there, helping him fill out the forms. And the contractions weren’t really that bad, except for sometimes when they were. Steve gripped the plasticky waiting room chair, trying to breathe through the pain while Robin hurried through the questions.
When he finally got in a room it turned out his regular doctor, who had been seeing him for months, was off for the day after a marathon cesarean surgery. And would Steve mind if they call another doctor in?
He minded. He minded quite a bit but he was terrified to say it, so he just shut up and got on the bed when they told him. Robin was out of her mind a little, but she was holding his hand and telling him to breathe through it.
“You can go, I got this,” Steve told her.
“As if,” Robin sniffed, “This is best friend privilege. I’m overruling you.”
“Rob-”
“Motion carried,” A voice cut in.
They both turned towards the door. Billy was sweating like he’d run there from the trailer, but it was probably just his rut. He sagged against the door.
“You came,” Steve breathed.
“Best friend privilege. Gets you out of all sorts of tight jams,” Billy smiled, “Also I called the Doc before I drove in. She’s gonna hook me up with some rut calming injections.”
“You called her? B-but she’s supposed to be off until Monday-”
“Funny, she didn’t mention that,” Billy shrugged, “Now, how are you doing, pretty boy?”
Steve’s eyes did not have permission to fill with tears but they did anyway.
“Pretty boy?”
“Steve?” Robin whispered, “Is it… is something wrong?”
“No, I-” Steve swiped at his eyes and immediately broke into a sob.
“Oh,” Robin looked between them, “Let me give you all a moment alone.”
Billy was still hanging onto the door when Robin dashed out, “What’s wrong? Steve?”
“I didn’t have time to plan,” Steve tried to still his voice but there was still more than a little bit of a wail at the end.
“Plan what? Are you missing something? Your hospital bag, I can drive out right fucking now and get-”
“No. Billy, why did you ask me to move in?”
Billy blinked, “To help you out. Steve, I don’t understand, what do you need to plan?”
“How to tell you that I’m in love with you.”
It took Steve a moment to be able to suck in a breath and look up. Billy was staggering towards the bed, his scent heavy with rut, his mouth open. It reminded Steve a little of how Billy looked when he slept, his mouth open, cheeks soft and pink.
“What?”
“I know that’s… God, probably the last thing you wanted when you offered to let me stay,” Steve whispered, “But, Billy, I-”
“It’s all I could hope for,” Billy was leaning on the edge of the bed, his eyes wide with shock.
“What?”
“Everyone told me it was crazy. I mean it was crazy, because there was every chance you’d hate me, loathe living with me-” Billy broke off, shaking his head a little. “But I’ve been hopelessly in love with you, Steve. For years. Tried to deny it, lie about it…”
“Billy,” Steve whispered, “Why did you ask me to move in?”
“You needed help and I’m… I’m in love with you. I had to offer. When you love someone you offer to help them.”
“And you don’t care? About the baby?”
“What about the baby?”
“That it’s not yours.”
“It’s not mine?” Billy gasped incredulously, and then his face split into a grin. “No. I don’t care about that.”
“You really-”
“Love you. Yes, I do Steve. And you-”
“Love you,” Steve broke off with a gasp, grabbing out and holding onto the guard rail on his bed with white knuckles, “Shit.”
Billy reached out and took his hand, “Sorry, sweetheart. Worst timing ever.”
“Just,” Steve gritted out between his teeth, “When this is all over, kiss me?”
“When this is all over, you’ll have a baby, and the kiss of your life,” Billy held Steve’s hand tightly to his chest. “Promise.”
And just a few hours later, with baby Ben in a tiny bassinet next to the bed and Robin asleep in the visitors chair, Billy curled around Steve on the tiny hospital bed, and after wiping the happy tears from Steve’s eyes with his thumbs, Billy did just that.
Billy’s lips were soft and when he pulled back, pressing small kisses to the corner of Steve’s mouth, the whimper he made was soft too.
“You’re amazing,” Billy whispered, “That was… incredible.”
“Yeah?” Steve’s eyes squeezed out a few tears, “I feel pretty incredible.”
“Good,” Billy rubbed his thumbs across Steve’s cheeks.
“You’re really okay with…” Steve sucked in a breath when Billy’s breath ghosted over his lips again. “All of this?”
“All of this is all I want,” Billy kissed him, slipping his tongue inside and just stroking softly at the sensitive inside of Steve’s lips.
“How are Oma and Papa,” A nurse breezed in, clipboard in hand.
“I-”
“We’re good,” Steve interrupted. “Feeling pretty incredible, actually.”

Tumblr media
💕 Moodboard by  @prettyboylikeyousteve   💕
Genre: A/B/O Mail Order Bride Au!
Rating: Explicit
Pairing: Harringrove
Summary:  Steve, a society omega, puts out an add in the paper looking for an alpha among the lonely hearts expanding the west.
Preview:
Everything is dying here. That was Steve’s first impression of the farm. It started when they reached the starkly visible border of Hargrove’s fields, which looked like they’d been razed by a fire before the snow had set in. Most of the land was struggling, no doubt due to the drought the girl had mentioned in the letters – but nothing was growing there at all.

CHAPTER 9
A deep breath in.
A deep breath out.
Gaining the courage to see the other side of the screen was always challenging, because it was always different. Ever changing. He changed. He worsened, with each passing day, with each passing minute, with each passing second.
The screen lit up after a few seconds and Wayne’s face came up on screen.
“Hi there Son.” He greets in a grunt. His hair was gone, no eyebrows, no beard, no sideburns. He was skinny, skinnier than the last time he had a call with Wayne, and his eyes were now filled with weakness rather than the strong man he once was.
“Hi Wayne. Interrupt your nap time, old man?” Eddie replied as he leaned against his balcony with phone in one hand and cigarette on the other. He always needed one when talking to Wayne, because it was always painful, the reminder of a limit of time that one day will reach its end.
“I nap all day. I really just want to go fishing again.” He says with a chuckle this time, a weak one, but Eddie still smiled at him, reciprocating his laugh.
“Oh come on, as if you ever caught something bigger than the size of a hand.” Eddie joked and it was a bluff really, Wayne was an excellent fisher, and that worked in getting dinner on the table a few times in his childhood and teenage years while he lived with him. Wayne looked into the camera completely offended and shook his head.
“I didn’t raise you to be a liar!” He exclaims and Eddie finally lets out a chuckle while taking a drag out of his cigarette. “You know, that’s the reason I’m like this.” Wayne says pointing at the camera, at what Eddie is holding in his hand.
“Yeah, well… You smoked way too much when I was a teen, like two packs per week.” And Eddie knew the reason for it. Getting the money for his medication, for his treatments, for the hospitalizations in the specialty facility was nothing cheap, and Wayne had to work double shifts and even weekends to be able to provide for it.
The stress of not being able to pay for Eddie’s health was something that Wayne could barely stand, living off cigarettes and whisky, barely eating anything, his defenses falling gradually, his immune system deteriorating, but Eddie was alive. That’s all that mattered.
“Hey, it was my guilty pleasure.” Wayne jokes with a chuckle but Eddie’s eyes felt distant as he looked at his uncle, his guardian, his father. Because maybe if he wasn’t the way he is, just maybe–
“Is that Eddie?” Wayne looks up from the camera and nods, and Eddie hears a female chuckle from far away.
“Hi Lu.” Eddie greets her and he receives an ‘Hola’ from far away. She was the caretaker of his uncle because he didn’t want to be taken to a hospital or a geriatric. He wanted to be in the peace of his home, his trailer, and that was final.
“How are you feeling boy? I know your date is coming soon–”
“Yeah, it already happened. Lasted one day as always, nothing new.” Eddie shortly replies, taking another drag of his cigarette and Wayne gives him a nod after a sigh.
“Alright, remember to visit Murphy, you have to do the–”
“Check ups, once every two months. I know Wayne, you don’t really have to take care of me like that anymore.” Eddie says with a hint of sadness behind it, and Wayne frowns at that, chuckling softly.
“You’re my boy, I’m always going to take care of you, no matter how old you get.” He replied with a wrinkled smile and Eddie felt the lump in his throat starting to form. He gulped it down, feeling the all too well burning begin to happen in his eyes, but he gets interrupted by Wayne’s coughing, making Eddie look up at him alarmingly.
His coughs turned to wheezes as Lucia rushed to start the oxygen machine that was always next to Wayne’s bed, and the next thing Eddie was looking at the ceiling as he heard his uncle wheezing through the phone. He took that moment to look up at the sky as he bit his lips into his mouth to clench and swallow the sob that wanted to escape him.
He was fighting the tears, looking at the clouds above him, trying to distract himself, trying to think of something else rather than time. Time. It was always time. Time being the worst fucking thing that’s ever to exist, because it always took and took from him, and it never gave him anything. Not a single thing.
He heard some shuffling, and he looked up at the phone again, seeing Wayne now with the oxygen mask on over his mouth and nose. His breathing was heavy and a few wheezes came out here and there.
“I feel like Darth Vader.” Wayne jokes outloud, making Eddie give a sad smile. He knew that this happened because Wayne talked too much, and forced his lungs to do so. That’s why Eddie always preferred to talk to him through text, but his uncle always insisted on seeing him.
And Eddie knew that it was because Wayne didn’t know when it would be time to go.
“You sound like him too.” Eddie continues the joke as the turmoil of feelings in his stomach starts to betray him, and he knows he has to end the call soon, because he doesn’t want his uncle to see him like this.
“I have to hang up, son. I’m tired of seeing your young face.” He always joked, always kept it lighthearted, always made sure Eddie didn’t know his pain, making sure that Eddie would always see things with a positive aspect, with a laugh, with a smile.
“I bet, I can’t stand the wrinkles on your face either. Like a bulldog.” Eddie followed on the joke and Wayne smiled through the mask.
“I love you boy.” Eddie bit onto the inside of his cheek. He was always afraid of this part. Always afraid of the part of hanging up, and he knew why Wayne said this. He was never a sentimental man to begin with, but now, as time went on, Eddie knew that Wayne was saying goodbye, just in case.
Just in case this would be the last time he ever tells Eddie he loves him.
“I love you too old man… Talk to you tomorrow, okay?” Eddie says, almost with a whimper in his tone, almost breaking as Wayne nodded at him. There was always that hope that tomorrow would come, and that he would talk to his uncle again, he always said it to keep that hope inside of him, and when his uncle responds the next day it would always make Eddie’s nerves relax, even if a bit.
“Sure thing. Goodbye.” And just like that the call ended. Eddie had forgotten about the cigarette, already a bud in his hand, still smoking a bit. He put the phone in his pocket, and stared into the small city.
A tear fell down his right eye, the knot in his belly finally undoing as a choked sob erupted from his throat. He bent down, throwing the bud towards the street, over his balcony, and he crossed his arms over the rail to hide his face into his arms, his shoulders shaking as he let himself go and feel.
Time. Time is a horrible yet unstoppable thing.
Tumblr media
“She told me she couldn’t hang out yesterday, and now she is showing up late!” Robin whines for almost the fourth time and Eddie was getting fed up already. They were at her’s and Steve’s home, enjoying the Saturday night, drinking a few beers, just talking with one another, but Robin had a very annoying mouth sometimes, and Eddie just wanted to rip it out.
“Maybe another date?” Jonathan asks as he lays back onto the couch’s rest with a hand around Steve’s waist. Nancy walked into the room with a tray of new drinks, her specialty, Caipiroska. She was always proud of this drink, because she had perfectioned it, and of course she did, since it was her favorite. Robin immediately took one as soon as Nancy put the tray on the table.
“No! She would tell me! She always tells me everything, and lately, to be honest, she is almost MIA.” Robin scoffs, taking a big gulp of the drink. Eddie was eyeing her and he felt his chest burn once more as anger filled him up for your doings. Robin clearly saw you as a best friend, to the point she would not shut up and worry about you, and she was probably thinking you were leaving her aside.
“Tells you everything? Don’t know about that.” Eddie says as he takes a glass for himself and Robin turns to him with a glare.
“Just because she doesn’t share a few things, doesn’t make her a liar.” She explains and Eddie rolled his eyes at her. It was almost the same thing. You could be a serial killer that escaped into another state for all he knows. But no, he couldn’t sense that from you.
“But she is okay, right mi amiga?” Argyle asks as he was rolling a joint as he sat on the floor, over the other end of the coffee table.
“Yeah, I saw her at work, and she was… I don’t know… Glowing?” Robin says and Steve is the one that intervenes now.
“Didn’t she get the Dior client thing? Maybe she’s happy about that.” He says and Robin shakes her head again, taking a sip out of her drink, sighing heavily into it.
“No, no, no! This is like… Different. And yesterday at work she was just jumpy, and excited, and as soon as the day was over she ran off.” She swirled the glass on her hand, looking at the cubes inside of it. Robin trusted you, you had told her about the big announcement and she was excited for you, happy even because she knew how much this means to you.
But she also knows there’s something from this life of yours, this new life, you are hiding from her. And in this life you never held any secrets against Robin.
“Maybe she went to get laid.” Nancy comments this time, taking a sip out of her drink, and Eddie scoffs at that, shaking his head lightly, but the sound of a door opening caught their attention, turning their heads to see who just came in.
You turned to them with a bright smile on your face, holding a bag of snacks in one hand and a six pack on the other. The sound of a revving engine could be heard in the distance as you walked towards the group, coming into the light.
“Sorry I’m late, had to buy a few things first.” You put the bag on the table as Robin inspected you, squinting slightly at your hair. You always had tidy hair, but this time, it was all over your shoulders, down, combed but kind of wild, covering you all over. You were wearing the same jeans you wore to work yesterday, but the shirt was different. Your makeup looked as if it were on since yesterday as well, tidied up in the best way possible.
You licked your lips as you felt everyone’s stares, sitting down on the floor next to Argyle. You put your phone on the table, facing down, and that’s when you looked up to see everyone simply waiting for you to say something, and Robin was glaring at you, digging into your eyes to look for an answer.
“Where were you?” She asked you, and you cleared your throat, looking over at the tray of drinks and taking one for yourself.
“I said I was buying things.” You say out loud and then you hear it. Your demise. The voice that might fuck everything up in just one instant. Bring your happiness down in just one second, but your eyes almost widened when he let out a small chuckle, and almost a whisper under his breath as he looked over you from the couch.
“Fucking finally.”
Everyone turned to Eddie, looking for answers, but he kept his mouth shut, taking sips of his drink. He noticed it of course, the change in your way of moving, your body language, and your smell. He could smell the male cologne, and by your cheerfulness, your genuine cheerfulness, he knew that it was a successful encounter.
“What does he mean?” Robin asks and you were speechless, feeling your heart racing as you stared at Eddie. How did he know? How was it so easy for him to read you? Or was it the other way around? Were you too easy to read?
“Holy schmokes, who ate you brochacha?” Your eyes widened when Argyle simply swiped your hair over your right shoulder, revealing the side of your neck, and you threw your hands over it but they had already seen it. It was too late, and you grimaced as everyone gasped loudly, except for Robin.
“You hooked up with someone?!” Jonathan asks excitedly and you sigh heavily, your mood dropping slightly because it was something you wanted to possibly keep secret.
“I– Yes– but–”
“And you didn’t tell me?” Robin asks, in a low voice, almost a whisper, and when your eyes met hers, you realized the damage you caused. She was hurt, and you were the cause of it. You neglected her into telling her this amazing thing that was happening to your life after so long, but it was because you didn’t want to put yourself or Billy on the spot.
He was famous, and you didn’t need people to go blurting out that you hooked up with him.
Yet, this was a one time thing, it probably was. And your thighs, as sore as they were now, almost clenched at the memory of his lips on your skin, the way he rubbed himself on you, manhandled you against the wall, railing into you without mercy, without stopping, to the point you were panting and you weren’t verbal anymore.
Tumblr media
Just three glasses of wine, three, and you were already panting, sweating, as you were bent over the armrest of the couch, your fingertips touching the floor beneath you, and you were wincing as your hardened nipples brushed against the fabric of the leather couch, burning them slightly.
But that, compared to what was happening in the southern part of your body, was nothing.
Billy was over you, both arms gripping on the armrest, next to your ribcage, as his hips snapped against yours, the jiggling of your backside making him groan loudly as the noises of skin slapping filled the room, alongside your moans. If you sharpened your hearing, you could also hear the squelching of your slick as he pumped himself in and out of you, such perverted sounds.
But it felt too good. Way too good.
You were chatting away on his couch, getting to know each other, talking about work, about friends, all very plain and just over the surface, nothing too deep. That was until he asked if he could kiss you, and after three glasses of wine, how could you possibly deny that request. Not when his eyes were looking at you like you were the finest buffet in existence. And the way his lips moved as he talked to you, the white teeth showing here and there after a smug smirk was directed to you.
Yes, you were gone with that.
And thank god you were gone.
“B-Billy, F-FUCK!” You moaned loudly as he pressed one hand on the small of your back, pushing you down, making you sink and arch your back downwards, letting his shaft hit that spongy part of yourself just perfectly. Your mouth hangs open, completely bewildered at this feeling that you never had. You never had someone hit your spot like this, and he was relentless about it. You heard him chuckle above you as his thrusts became snappy and slow, making you gasp and jerk at each hit.
“You sound perfect, Mousy… Keep yelling my name.” Suddenly you were empty, and you were panting against the couch, trying to lift yourself from it to look at him, wondering what happened, but your waist was grabbed, pushing you to kneel on the couch as Billy stood next to you. Your breathing turned heavy as you looked at him completely bewildered, but he didn’t say anything, only chuckled as he grabbed you by the waist and then the back of your thigh to pull you against him.
You squealed at how easily he had lifted you up from the couch, as if you were just a feather, and your legs immediately wrapped around his waist, as your arms held onto his shoulders. His skin was sticky with sweat, glistening but yet– he smelled way too good. He walked you two towards a wall, slamming your back against it as he, in one strong movement, pushed inside of you again.
“Shit–” You gasp and he silences you with a brush of his lips as he stills his hips for a few seconds.
“You’re beautiful, Mousy. So fucking beautiful.” And he seals your lips together once again as the moans and the groans were present in the room once more.
It would be a hell of a one night stand.
Tumblr media
So, fuck it.
“I couldn’t…” You try to defend yourself and she bit the inside of her cheek, her brows furrowing even more. “I mean… It’s too… Unprofessional, Robin.” You say to her, hoping she would catch on, but she just looked at you with a confused look on her face, tilting it as she thought.
“Unprofessional? Someone at work?! Tony?! Esteban?! No, wait he is gay– Maybe Pedro?” She started rambling and you sighed, taking a sip of your drink until the coffee table shook as Robin shot up, almost into the ceiling and everyone pulled back, completely startled as they all looked at her, including you who almost spilled your drink onto the floor. “HOLY FUCKING SHIT.”
“Robin, you almost dropped the drinks on the wooden flooring– Jesus Christ!” Steve complains, like the mother he is, as he looks around for any splashes and Robin looks down at you, putting up a hand towards you.
“Tell me… You’re fucking joking.” Oh, she caught on. You gave her a small smirk, shaking your head slowly. She ran her fingers through her hair as she walked off to start pacing in the living room.
“Is there something we have to know about, or why is Robin about to have a panic attack?” Eddie asks as he looks back at his friend and then back at you. You shrug at him with the smirk still on your face and he tilted his head slightly at you, trying to read you, but this side of you was something he never saw. Something he actually never felt from you. And he couldn't pinpoint what it was.
“Holy shit… Holy shit– I mean, good for you, but what if Liana finds out? You’re gonna be super fucked! But, that’s the thing right? It’s temporary, so you know it’s fine–” She rambled and Jonathan rolled his eyes and put his hand out to you.
“Can I see the guy?” He asks and you shrug, grabbing your phone to unlock it, and going into Billy’s instagram, putting it on Jonathan’s hand. He took the phone and saw the screen, allowing Steve to see too, who was drinking off his glass and his eyes widened, spitting out his drink towards his side, drenching the couch and almost hitting Nancy who yelled in complete disgust.
“Are you FUCKING shitting me?!” Steve yells, putting the glass on the coffee table and getting up off the couch to look at you, his hands on his hips. “Are you insane?!”
“What the actual fuck is going on?!” Nancy finally screams and Jonathan, still wide eyed and in shock, tosses the cellphone towards Nancy, who chokes up on her spit, putting her hand on her chest. “Holy mother of god…”
“Lemme see.” Eddie says, getting hold of your phone now, and for some reason you felt smug that he knew about someone like Billy. That he knew for once you got what you deserved for so long. That he knew you felt good, feel good, and will feel good for a while. His eyes were showing no emotion as he looked at the instagram, frowning slightly and then giving a nod in understanding. “So, you’re fucking your client. Nice.” He tosses the phone back to you, and you roll your eyes at him.
Of course he would remind you of that aspect to dampen the mood.
“Whoa, sexy dude, good job my friend.” Argyle says as he peeks over your shoulder to see the screen.
“No, NO! Not good job! He is a model! He is just using you, you know that right?” Steve was in his mom pose, in all of its glory and you couldn’t contain the laughter that wanted to come out of your throat.
“Right, like I used him.” You retort, and Robin catches onto the past tense, stopping her rambling and pacing, and heading back to sit next to you.
“So– Hang on, was this yesterday?” She asks you and you nod at her, taking a sip of your drink and handing your glass to her so that she could wet her throat a bit.
“Yeah, it was a one time thing, I am sure of that, but I don’t mind. It was great, trust me, but I do know who he is, Steve. I am not that dumb to fall for someone like him.” At your comment, Steve relaxed, sitting down onto the couch with a sigh as he rubbed the back of his neck.
“Okay… That’s good I guess, just be careful.” You knew he was protecting you from a possible heart break, but you knew better than to mess with a famous person.
But you didn’t notice someone was still staring at you. You didn’t notice the brown doe eyes that were trying to read you, investigate what was going on, or what it was that he was seeing. This was a version of you he never had the chance of seeing before. Yet, he didn’t know how to name it, maybe it was the excitement of finally getting properly laid, but there was something behind your eyes that told him that there was more than that.
And you were also hiding more than you were saying. More than you were implying, but he knew it wasn’t out of malice because he senses some kind of doubt within you. He’ll let you be, because at least you told some part of it to your friends, his friends, and that was enough.
So he sipped his drink as you whispered to Robin something, which she only looked at you with widened eyes and a blush to her face. She grabbed your hand and pulled you up from your seats on the floor, and you giggled as she pulled you away into a room.
“A fucking model, good for her!” Jonathan says as Steve scoffs next to him and his boyfriend chuckles as he leaned over to place a kiss on his cheek, making Steve smile at him as they engaged into conversation with Argyle joining them afterwards.
Eddie looked at them and then at Nancy who was fiddling with her phone and he moved closer to her on the couch, whispering towards her.
“I still don’t see a move Wheeler.” He says with a smirk to his lips and Nancy’s cheeks turned into a deep red as she rolled her eyes to whisper back, not losing her sight on her phone.
“In time, she is preoccupied with something else.” She answers him and Eddie simply scoffs, shaking his head at her.
“You’ve liked her for a fucking year now, and Robin most definitely finds you hot.” At that Nancy slowly turned to Eddie with a frown to her eyebrows, doubt displayed on her features and Eddie’s smirk turned into a soft smile.
“Really?” She asked him and he looked at her as if she were crazy.
“I am the most observant out of the group, remember that? I know everything about everyone without even asking.” He starts and Nancy was still doubtful, putting her gaze on the coffee table and then back up at Jonathan and Steve. Eddie followed her gaze and he felt the longing she had in her chest, because her eyes were filled with it.
“I just– I really like her, Eddie… But I don’t want to lose her…” She explains and Eddie knew that she meant to lose Robin as a friend because Nancy has feelings for her. But Eddie also knew the way Robin looked at Nancy when she bent over to pick something up, or the way Robin has the bravery to brush her fingers with hers as Nancy hands her a glass or a bottle of something.
He notices. But Nancy doesn’t.
“Well, I don’t think Robin is that shallow either, she won’t stop being your friend, no matter what.” He answers this time and Nancy looks at him, giving him a soft smile and a nod. She will try, maybe not too straightforward, but maybe start flirting with her, slowly. Eddie leaned back onto the couch’s backrest as you and Robin came back, sitting back down on the floor.
“I need a drink after hearing about heterosexual sex.” Robin says out loud with a grimace as she grabs her old glass and takes a long sip, despite the liquid being in a warm temperature now. You giggled and shook your head at her, but she was the one that asked for details.
Your phone vibrated in your hand, and you looked down to look at the notification, smiling as you saw the text.
‘You kinda forgot something at home.’
You wanted to kick your feet, giggle and just put the phone against your chest, but you took a deep breath to keep your smile down, not wanting to catch anyone’s attention as you opened the message to see the picture he sent you, but the smirk that came to your lips as you saw a picture of your thong, hanging off his index finger, was one you couldn’t hide.
‘Save it for me okay? I'll get it tomorrow.’
The part that you are avoiding telling them, is how Billy treated you afterwards. You didn’t expect him to let you stay the night at his apartment. You didn’t expect him to cook you breakfast this morning. You didn’t expect him to run a shower for you. You didn’t expect him to tell you about his sister. You didn’t expect him to take you out to lunch. You didn’t expect him to cuddle with you as you both watched Friends together. You didn’t expect him to offer to drive you to your friends’ place.
You avoided telling them that Billy Hargrove, did not simply fuck and ran.
You avoided telling them that you actually have a second date.
You avoided telling them that you didn't plan, not for a single second, to let Billy Hargrove be a one night stand.
Because he had told you, right before entering this house, as you were both in Billy's Camaro, and sharing a goodbye kiss;
"See you tomorrow night? I'll pick you up."
And you couldn't say no.
