It was time that the Yuletide celebrations would once again commence. There would be feasts, and decorations and, much to Sif's chagrin, dresses. She was never one to parade around like a normal maiden, now certainly not one of those times.

So tonight she had snuck away from the festivities, snuck down to the stables, and stolen Thor's horse. She just needed to be away from the false faces, the kind words laced with malice.She continued riding until long after the moon was high in the night sky.

Finally after coming to a stop, she slid down from the horse and sunk to her knees, pulling her cloak around her. She didn't entirely recognize these woods and it could be morning before anyone realized that she was gone.
