After Isa's redemption in KH3, I'll never find it not funny as a huge fan of FFVIII that the fanon consensus is that the new "nemesis" of the Seasalt Trio or at least Roxas and Xion is Seifer.

I dunno how much of the KH fandom has played FFVIII, and in-universe it makes sense given Seifer is the "neighborhood bully" of Twilight Town. However, given what VIII players know about him, it's hilarious and cathartic to see these two kids either bonk him with copied claymores in response to him trying to intimidate them into giving him their ice cream money, curbstomp him at Struggle right after calling them "lamers" or "chicken wusses", or accidentally drop half-eaten popsicles on his face when, in his universe of origin, Seifer was a major war criminal who, among other things, dropped all sorts of horrible endgame monsters including actual malboros onto a hugely populated city (which like any VIII fan can tell you, malboros are already nope on a stick in general, but in VIII in particular they're excessively brutal).

Roxas and Xion are just delivering Seifer some belated karma from 1999 is all and I'm loving every second of it.

Pietro had found himself in these parts quite often as a young man, and returning now - even under the current circumstances was a bit of fresh air for him. Especially since it gave him the opportunity to leave his home that had become ironically quite suffocating over the past year and a half. Pietro wandered the halls of the castle, taking in the beautiful architecture, statues, and paintings that the Queen had graced her halls with. The Greeks certainly had a way with with art, something that had always fascinated him. What Italy lacked in art, Pietro liked to think they made up for in their music.

"Fascinating work, don't you think?" Pietro asked the person he had heard walking behind him, gesturing to the painting on the wall as he did so. His eyes remained glued to the work of art - allowing himself to get lost in it and whatever the painter might have been feeling in the moment they created such a piece. "Maybe it is foolish of me to say, but I quite enjoy how art helps to pull your thoughts away from what ails you and instead makes you focus on what the artist might have been thinking in the very moment they created something."

Finally Pietro broke his gaze away from the painting to look over his shoulder at the person walking by. He smiled at the familiar face before continuing on. "What do you think might have been going through their mind when they created this, Princess Calista?"

boredom had gotten the best of her. with no intentions of attending said masquerade, she found herself in the venue itself. mathilde had never been the most social, but she was not quiet either. perhaps in another moment she would have been more open to the idea of a party. but with no one by her side it seemed rather dull, despite the quite interesting setting the greek queen had done. bold –– she supposed. although eyes averted their gaze to the situation from time to time as she walked through the dark halls, trying to find a familiar face amongst the masqueraded masses.

I love this fic. I have read this thing so many times. I love the intimacy and how they develop organically. How Cas just takes why Dean gives and it’s how it should be in my head. It’s sweet and fluffy. I wish Dean would stop calling Cas “pal” as if he’s fucking Mickey Mouse and Pluto but it’s amazing. I return to it a lot. It’s a comforting story that deals with mental health and I’m glad it’s set in heaven.

I absolutely love this fic because I actually sleep with a weighted blanket and when my kids are sick, they love their own. I even have one in the car. It’s light but enough to feel it. This is just so fluffy and romantic all thanks to our favorite redhead introducing weighted blankets which helps so much. It’s been shown to even help babies but blankets aren’t great for them. Anyway, they’re so cute and that scene where Dean opens his eyes all slow and gentle with “hey”, just broke me. My husband and I do that periodically and it just means more snuggles and sleep. lol. Poor Castiel thinking he couldn’t have Dean which I understand since Dean has said so much he is straight or implied it rather often. Ugh. This was done so well. Thank you both!

It's such a visceral and extremely well-written story, dark and full of intense angst but at the same time it highlights that profound tenderness and affection between Sam and Dean. The whole "there is no me if there is no you". I was on the edge of my seat all the way through, my heart breaking for the brothers in such a delightful way. This fic is a great rollercoaster ride, like a dark porn with a substantial amount of well-thought-out plot. Heed the tags though... Your feels might not come out intact.

Sam/Cas/Jimmy is a threesome I've never read before, I don't think, and I'm loving it. So far, all of these stories are filled with plenty of fluff, and the perfect way to end my day. He snapped his fingers, freeing himself with a miracle, and collapsed with a grateful sigh to sit properly on the floor. “Now,” he said, looking at the rat in front of him with a sharp smile. “How many friends might you have on this ship?”

The entire population of Lower Tadfield is in uproar over these innocent-looking monsters. Something must be done! If Aziraphale and Crowley have to team up to defeat a gaggle of psychotic geese, so be it. And if they happen to like each other more than expected, so be that, too. What good is a peaceful life without a dear friend, anyhow?

The thing was, even after Crowley Fell, Heaven forgot to delete his login to their system.

The only half interesting thing he had ever found in Heaven’s archives was their newspaper, even though it was a dreadfully dull rag. But even then, Crowley was never inspired to truly interfere with the Celestial Observer’s contents until the late 1600s, when advice columns were invented on Earth.

As always, brilliant inspiration struck him like… like whatever inspiration strikes like. So Crowley resolved to meddle, just as a side project. Maybe if he got enough angels heated at each other, he could report it as a victory to Hell. Anyway, Dagon had always liked gossip, and the Celestial Observer’s new advice column was a ready source of that.

It was pure genius.
