Once you get out he looks frantic like on the night you met but more scared and worried. You tune out there conversation deciding its not really any of your business that is till you hear a very upset Corey. “Im not your fucking project Allyson!” She tries to defend her words but he’s already turning and walking off seeming rigid. “Y/n.. Do me a favor and follow him. I wanna be alone and clear my head.” You look at her sad and nod giving her a hug before jogging to catch up with Corey. “Hey…” He takes in a breath trying to calm himself. “You doing okay.?” You ask softly. He nods, you see a car driving up in your peripheral as the car comes to a stop in front of you Corey seems to freeze. You narrow your eyes and watch as a group of teens step out of the car. They immediately start taking to harassing Corey talking down to him he’s holding his weight well for now so you don’t step in. That is until the boys start putting their hands on him after he said some stuff about the boys dad. You shove one away and try to smoothly knock him out not wanting to fight with a kid. But thats when you see that Corey has gone over the bridge thats when you stop fighting with them.

You immediately run to the slope connecting under and above the bridge you make it down and don’t see Corey. You feel yourself begin to panic when you hear something from the sewer tunnel. You reach for your phone turning on the flashlight before walking in. Then you see him leaned against some concrete out cold you immediately try waking him. “Corey.. Corey come one you gotta get up.” Shaking him trying to make him open his eyes you hear him groan. “Cor-“ Then suddenly everything goes black.

You start waking up groggily blinking your eyes. You look around at your surroundings looking to your right you see Corey still unconscious. The events of last night begin coming back and suddenly your in a rush to get up and get Corey up as well. “Corey!” You say getting up whisper shouting. “Corey lets go we gotta go!” You say shaking him awake with urgency in your voice. He starts to blink awake “Hey.. Come on lets go.” You say helping him up hurrying to get out of here. He walks behind you, You make it to the end turning to make sure Corey is still right there. Hes a little bit behind your about to call out to him when suddenly a hand reaches out and chokes him. You gasp and are sent into a panic looking around for something anything heavy to hit this random arm with. You see a wooden plank and grab it before immediately hitting this mysterious arm the plank breaks and you look over where the arm came from and lock eyes with the Michael Myers. You freeze and he drops Corey once you realize he let go of Corey you grab his arm and immediately rush out of there scared.

You both had been walking for some time not saying anything when a car pulls beside Corey the window rolls down the man speaks to him but Corey says nothing the man quickly drives off seeming startled.

The two of you head to your place. After getting there you ask Corey to go take a shower so the sewer smell goes away you walking to do the same after giving him a pair of sweatpants and a baggy shirt. You exit your bathroom dressed and he exits the guest bathroom in the clothes you gave him. “Corey come sit on the couch.” You say softly. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- -at first, he only talked to you because michael liked you. somehow, ***the*** michael myers liked you. that obviously that meant you were either a good person or an extremely terrible person. so he walked up and started talking. also lets say his little girlfriend, allyson, doesn't exist. so you have to comfort the little puppy. you have to help him, cuddle him and kiss him when he has his panic attacks or anything like that. you comfort him. your presence is comforting to him. he loves you being there. thats why he loves sleeping together with you, because you can cuddle and dream together. its a nice experience to him. -when you meet michael, he likes you. because he likes corey, so if your dating corey he likes you, he was like a father when he was accepting. michael liked you, like you were his kid, like how he saw corey. he protected both of you with everything. corey might not like it and he might not hate it, but michael tries to get you to murder like he did with corey, like hes trying to keep the tradition going. corey doesn't praise nor accept this, but he doesn't stop either of you.  -you and him...dates. fancy. your the one with money, and you love treating him, because he gets happy to spend any amount of time with you. he loves chicken and burgers. hes a simple guy, he likes simple things. he shares everything with you. his storys, his clothes, his thoughts, and you love to listen. you care. he gives you a goodnight and a goodmorning kiss every time. he doesn't miss a single day if he can help it. and, you guys let michael stay at your house, because hes basically your father, so why wouldn’t you? -if you do go into the murder thing, corey is going to get SO protective. and he wont leave his eyes off you. if you get hurt, hes gonna act like a parent and give a lecture about how you knew the consequences of doing this, and how hes mad, even though he cant not actually be mad, loves you to much to do be mad. but he’s taking care of you and fixing the wound no matter how much you protest. and then hes going to apologize for acting so angry and kisses you on the cheek a bunch. -he is so sweet. amazing.

Things had changed. The game had changed. When Corey stumbled to yours and Allyson's place after he had disappeared, he looked shocked, horrified, and yet free at the same time.

Corey stumbles out of your shower and you hand him a set of your clothes. The young mechanic's eyes seem far off and full of fear.

"Are people born bad or is it something that grows?" he whispers.

"I've seen a lot" you huff, "but I think it's influence not some ingrown evil nature."

"I-I didn't mean to kill that kid that day" Tears slip down his cheek.

"I know" you whisper, "Corey you're not a bad guy, life just dealt you a bad hand"

"What do you know about bad hands?!"

"Try this: my dad's a killer. Plain and simple. The underworld calls him Baba Yaga."

"Boogeyman?"

"He's sent to kill the Boogeyman" you mutter, "and now that same underworld looks to me"

"But you're just a bodyguard...aren't you?"

You silence speaks volumes to Corey.

"Oh shit. You're not a bodyguard."

"The only good things that happened to me was meeting Ally and meeting you" you give him a weak smile "don't tell her what i've told you"

"M-my lips are sealed" he makes a little gesture across his mouth to seal it.

You take the young man back to his house. Corey's mother didn't really like anyone in the town but she did like you. Something about you made her realize that you and Corey were kindred spirits.

"Where was my son?!" Corey's mother hollered at you in worry.

"With me and Ally" you answer back covering for Corey, "some bullies jumped him and...yeah...fought 'em off"

Corey's mother shakes her head and guides Corey back inside.

The rest of the day went pretty normal. You picked up Allison from the hospital, you could see a smug look on one of her co-worker's face as Allyson sadly got in your mustang.

"Bad day, babe?" you put a gentle hand on her shoulder.

"I didn't get the promotion. Deb got it" she mutters, "I think she's sleeping with Dr. Mathias."

"She won't last long" you shrug, "c'mon let's get home and I'll make you a piping hot dinner"

"We're supposed to have dinner with my grandma" Allyson bites her lip at the thought of you cooking over the stove.

"I'll make more then. We'll take it over together" you smile as you drive off from the hospital.

Laurie welcomed you and Allyson into her house with open arms. Dinner went well and smooth. Although Laurie kept looking at you like she knew something was going on in your mind.

"What's egging you, kid?" the older Strode asks you as you put away the dishes.

"You see right through me, don't you?" you chuckle

"I know a killer when I see one" your blood runs cold. "I know the fear in a killer's eyes. The hate the rage."

You remain silent.

"I saw it the moment Allyson introduced you to me. I saw a wolf." she smiles, "but i also a wolf that wanted to become a lamb"

"Ally's the best part of me"

"Keep her safe." Laurie gives your hand a grandmotherly squeeze "why did you come to Haddonfield?"

"to kill the boogeyman"

Kill the boogeyman. What you didn't know was that Corey was bringing back the boogeyman. And the boogeyman had gained an apprentice.

You woke up the next day, the day before Halloween, with Allyson in your arms. Her hair obscuring your vision. The best and only way you want to wake up.

And then came the news report on your TV. Authorities reported the death of one Doctor Mathias and one nurse named Deb. The odd thing was that Deb's death was within the MO of one Michael Myers, Doctor Mathias on the other hand seemed like a copycat's.

"Baby pack your things" you grabbed a ready duffel bag of clothing.

"What's wrong? If it's Myers, I'm not afraid." Allyson states.

"I think...I think Myer's has an apprentice."

Okay, I know I’m late but I need to get this off my chest.

Remember when Corey said something like "If I can’t have her." (I don’t remember the exact words, but it was something like that.) talking about Allyson to Laurie before stabbing himself, it finally makes sense to me.

Corey wasn’t only talking about romantic love, he was talking about love in general. He wanted to ruin Laurie and Allyson relationship so he can be the only person that Allyson loved just as she was the only one he loved to.

I was thinking of a way I could implement the "I am damaged" song from Heathers into a Michael x reader fic/headcanons/ect., when the stupidest hot take appeared from the depths of my mind...

Through out the new Halloween, the romance between Corey and Allyson, although it seemed forced and something I wouldn't mind avoiding, it felt strongly, weirdly familiar, but I couldn't put my finger on it.

Until now...

That whole talk about burning the city down? (which kinda don't know where that came from??) Literally JD and Veronica dynamic. Which would explain the toxicity that I felt seeping from the screen when ever they were together... But it could make a good base for some fanfictions...
