       He's never realized how convenient Halloween is until he discovered he can walk down the street with blood smearing his chin and no one thinks twice about it. With everyone dressed as a monster, no one ever considers that there are real ones scattered in their midst. He does nothing to wipe away the spots of red, instead just readjusting his suit before glancing over his shoulder to his partner of the night. "You finished back there?" Nate asks dryly, a brow arching as he takes over the way the body slumps in their grasp. "Didn’t think to leave any more for me huh?"

It wasn’t as if she had anywhere pressing to be right now. So long as she continued to get back to the school by morning, people would be none the wiser. At best, everyone merely suspected she had a lover of sorts which was fine. That beat them suspecting that she was hiding something more important, but honestly, she had no idea how much longer she could lie to Charles. He was a brilliant man and if he ever saw fit to get in her head, he would know Jean was alive.

His breathing was heavy, his heart beating fast in his chest. Roy had the hood pulled up, trying his best to cover his face, he tried his best to stay in the shadows, keeping himself from being seen. He could hear the steps getting closer and closer to him, his hands formed into fists, ready to fight, if needed. Not sure if he should be the one breaking the silence, if he did then he would be spotted for sure.

He wasn’t one for going into his wolf form. He pretended he was proud of it but still after 1000 years he didn’t turn to his wolf before sinking his vampire teeth into someone’s neck. So for his daughter he had decided to address this. She was more wolf then anything else after all. He had headed out with Hayley and when the morning gave he found himself waking on the ground his body curled against someone else’s.

For a moment, Michael thought the man before him was a vampire, but as he got closer, the smell was all wrong. He didn’t think anything of it at first, but the more Michael stood there, the more his stomach tied into knots because it was unlike anything that he had ever been around. Then again, Michael hadn’t exactly been around very long and Selene had never told Michael about what other supernatural creatures existed in the world they lived in. 

A low growl rumbled in his chest, a warning for the other male to keep his distance a bit. Michael was always pretty uncertain when it came to new faces. He tried to be understanding, but combining new faces and potentially a new species, Michael had every right to be on edge. He had been hunted by pretty much every species he knew about. It terrified him to think about what other species might exist. 

“Did someone send you after me?” Claws extended from Michael’s nails as he remained on edge. “I may not look like much but I would recommend you think twice about that.”
