‘ start from the basics. ‘ he said softly, before in a swirl of blue light there was blood in a glass offered from the other and a glass of wine for him. he didn’t know what happened but he was sure that it had to do with the seelie queen. 

Simon forced a small smile to show his gratitude as the glass appeared. He drank it without hesitation. “The Seelie Queen,” he said. That seemed like the best place to start. “She did some plant magic on my forehead,” he explained, pointing to his forehead. “There’s some type of mark there now that shows up and blasts anyone who tries to hurt me.”

an eyebrow raised and being confused was the similar put of thing that he felt. he didn’t know how he felt actually but confusion. the seelie queen put some magic on him and mark and frankly, he couldn’t see it. ‘ do you know how it looks like?’

“I do,” Simon confirmed. He knew it all sounded crazy but he was sure Magnus had seen and heard many crazy things over the years. He set down his empty glass and stood up, reaching into his pocket. He pulled out a wrinkled folded up piece of notebook paper and handed it to Magnus. There was a sketch on it drawn in pen of the mark. “This is what it looks like.”

Simon was grateful that Magnus let him in. He felt a lot safer with there with Magnus. “Something happened to me. I don’t understand it. And then the wolves kicked me out. There was a fight. I don’t have anyone.” He said it all quickly then started crying.

‘ hey, hey..’ he startled and took him into his arms. he didn’t know why but simon had a lot in common with raphael than he could possibly imagine. he was young yet, barely knew how ard was to be the vampire to a world of darkness. ‘ tell me what happened. take a seat and tell me what happened.’ he said softly, releasing him from his grip. 

The hug from Magnus comforted Simon. He was able to calm down enough to start explaining what had happened to him. He sat down and wiped his tears away. “I don’t know where to start,” he admitted, shaking his head. “It’s kind of a long story. I’m not even sure exactly what it all means.”

‘ come inside. ‘ he stepped back to make a room for simon to walk inside. simon had been someone that he indeed cared about, he saw him like a second raphael of one kind and he didn’t want to abandon him at this sight of weakness.

Blinking a few times at the question, Magnus nodded slowly. “I have, and I do, yes.” He said as he settled into his chair, he had a feeling this could easily be one of those conversations. “Why?”

Simon wasn’t sure how to begin this conversation. It was rather complicated. “Something happened to me,” he said. “And I’m trying to figure it out.” He wasn’t sure if Magnus would have any useful knowledge about it all but there was no one else to ask. Besides, maybe it would just be helpful to talk about it all with Magnus, even if he didn’t have all the answers.

Simon studied Magnus for a moment before saying “You’ve lived a really long time, right?” Then he thought better and tried again. “I mean, you know a lot of things, don’t you?”
