Good morning! Here’s to another year* of finding all the mushroom buddies with all the buddies. Looking forward to learning new species, smelling the forest, tasting the wild and walking barefoot on all the dirt and moss we can find. Look forward to the sun, watching it dance across the sky and growing longer for us to thaw out of winter slowly. Hoping for more time spent with loved ones in places we find peace together. More time to care for myself. Looking forward to helping dismantle systems that no longer serve the people and planet. I have to say, I barely posted in 2018, compared to 2017. I think I want more of that trend. I want to be that person that leaves their phone in the car, that lets it run out of battery more and isn’t swiping up, left or right. I just want to hold space in real time so memories are cherished and not logged in, and sold back to me by some algorithm that follows us around all day. More loving connections, more living. More life. *this year is based on a solar, patriarchal, capitalist calendar. We don’t all have to take/celebrate this day/date and acknowledge it. We can still remember and find the old ways of time. By moon light. By season. By the stars. I mean, I’m on lunar cycle, ya know what I mean!!!
