“   so,  this  is  your  means  of  achieving  of  eternity?   ”    by  ridding  allogenes  of  the  gifts  granted  to  them  by  destiny?    really,  he  can’t  imagine  what  it  feels  like,  but  he’s  heard  stories:  emptiness,  some  cold  hollow  left  from  where  ambition  had  burned  so  brightly.    (  so  cruelly  robbed  of  it’s  supernova,  laid  to  waste  among  darkness.  a  kind  of  death  without  the  rot.  )    now  that,  they  can  understand.    they’ve  borne  witness  to  that  far  too  many  times.

“   you’re  allowing  your  people  to  suffer,  you  know.  but  i’m  just  gonna  assume  you  don’t  really  care  about  the  liberties  of  inazuma  as  long  as  it  isn’t  buried.   ”    but  what  is  a  nation  if  it  lives  in  fear  of  the  one  residing  in  that  ivory  tower?    not  truly  alive  /  not  even  dead.    just  caught  between  some  awful  state  of  limbo  and  vulnerable  to  the  will  of  eternity  incarnate.    “   you  are  a  pitiful  and  awful  excuse  of  an  archon.   ”    and  storms  don’t  rage  forever.

“   oh  please,  he  ruined  my  lyre.  with  the  way  he  was  acting,  a  little  violence  was  completely  warranted!   ”    they  say,  justifications  accompanied  with  the  cross  of  the  arms  and  pointed  chin.    (  always  dramatic,  even  in  anger  it  seems.  )    ...  though,  he  must  confess,  it  was  actually  pretty  funny,  how  easily  the  bar - goer  crumbled:  bard  twisting  his  hand  tight  into  hair,  the  sudden  push  down  to  smack  forehead  down  into  oak  bar  over  and  over  again.    venti  could’ve  sworn  he  passed  out  on  impact,  if  the  way  he  didn’t  fight  back  proved  anything.    still,  completely  warranted!    not  like  they’ll  feel  bad  for  a  simple  nosebleed  and  bruises.    but  nonetheless,  he  breathes  a  laugh,  nervous.

“   don’t  tell  me  you’re  gonna  kick  me  out?  or  make  me  pay  his  medical  bills  if  i  ended  breaking  something?   ”    ...  again.
