nothing was ever perfect [ ... ] not even for them. not even when they were ( in his most humble opinion ) as close to perfect as a pair could possibly get. THEY HAD THEIR ARGUMENTS IN THE BEGINNING —— but they more often than not stemmed from petty stubbornness and jealousy on both of their ends. a game of uncertainty on where their relationship truly lied for something that began as nothing serious. though that was no longer the case. THEY'D GOTTEN TOO COMFORTABLE. too dependent on the other ; ( where was one without the other ? ) too inseparable when both knew it was doomed to eventually end from the very beginning. tiffany was always destined to finish school and leave him behind. while she went on to do something great with her newfound degree [ ... ] WHILE HE WASTED HIS OWN IN A TOUR BUS TO CAUSE HAVOC AROUND THE WORLD. and as much as he wanted to drag her along with him for the ride , she deserved everything she's ever busted her ass and worked hard for.
⁽ ✟ ⁾ @victxm-allamerican . . . . we used to kiss all night , now it's just a barfight.
it's something he's pushed towards the furthest backburner of his mind for as long as he possibly could —— turning his back and blindly ignoring what they both knew would eventually come. AND HERE IT WAS ; slowly creeping up on him until it was the only thing plaguing his thoughts , and in turn , causing pesky problems. maybe he started a handful of them [ ... ] maybe they both felt it. THAT PART OF YOUR BRAIN THAT WANTS TO PUSH AWAY THE THINGS YOU WANT TO HOLD CLOSEST. he was exceptionally sensitive lately to the idea of things coming to an end. ( she'd leave and find some other guy , she'd eventually forget about him. what other choice did she have ? ) sooner had suddenly became closer than later and it made him annoyed ; time never seemed to be on his side.
❛❛ it hasn't been that bad [ ... ] don't be so dramatic , tiff. ❜❜ as if they hadn't been partaking in challenges of who mumble the most bullshit under their breath , who could yell the loudest , who could roll their eyes the hardest. MORE AND MORE AND MORE OFTEN. but as much as he's attempting to currently hold on to his misplaced anger ; it was becoming more difficult at the exhaustion that laced her words and his teeth were anxiously chewing on the skin of his lower lip caught between them. ❛❛ 'm just— i'm pissed off , alright ? ❜❜

@victxm-allamerican asked: “ is… that my shirt you’re wearing? ”
"It is and it isn't." Cherry looked down at herself, lower lip jutted out. She played with the hem of the blouse, then slowly returned her attention to Tiffany. "I have one a little like this...but it isn't this one. This one's yours. Unless I stretched it out. Then it's mine, but I can totally buy you another. I'm good for it, I swear." In truth, their figures were similar enoughboth busty and diminutive—but Cherry added the complication of her musculature. At the very least, she knew Tiffany lacked her biceps. As her brows lifted, one could almost see the lightbulb flicker on above her head. "Think it'll hop back to normal in the wash?"

History in the Ring 🥊
In the late 1800s and early 1900s, boxing became a mainstream spectacle, with professional fighters touring the country and participating in matches in front of large crowds. Despite its popularity, African American boxers faced particular challenges while trying to earn their place.
One of the most famous African American boxers of this era was Jack Johnson, the first black fighter to be crowned the Heavyweight Champion of the World. Johnson won the title in 1908 and held it until 1915, during which time he faced widespread racism and discrimination. Despite this, he remained a dominant force in the sport and is remembered as one of the greatest boxers of all time.
In the decades that followed, African American boxers continued to break barriers and make their mark on the sport. In the 1950s and 1960s, fighters like Sugar Ray Robinson, Muhammad Ali, and Joe Louis became household names and helped to popularize boxing around the world.
Check out Joe Louis’ poster and other boxing artifacts in our new exhibit - All American: The Power of Sports. For more information, visit: https://museum.archives.gov/all-american.

⁽ ✟ ⁾ @victxm-allamerican . . . . i hate when people assume my vest is my boyfriend's vest.
he'll always thank whatever deity above or below for diners that stayed open at the ungodliest of hours [ . . . ] no matter how shitty they may be. no matter how low the lighting might be , or how lumpy the seat cushions were from years of abuse ; or how the cooks in the back always had half smoked cigarettes tucked behind their ear. IT ALWAYS FELT LIKE HOME AFTER ATTENDING A SHOW. when your body was craving something of sustenance while still reeling from the adrenaline , but not quite enough to completely dismiss how sore you surely were going to be when you woke up the next morning. some people had their weekly ritual of a mcdonalds breakfast after sunday mass —— while he had this.
fingertips ⅋ tongue could have burned at the touch of a hot meal ; but fear not. IT WAS FUNNY WHAT AN EMPTY STOMACH WAS WILLING TO OVERLOOK. this had been his first proper meal of the day —— it was safe to say his patience was wearing thin. the sloppy burger placed before him barely had the chance to cool down before his plate was halfway gone. there were only a few bites left when he'd decided to venture off ⅋ pick at the shared basket of fries between them.
❛❛ i dunno how t'tell you this , babe. ❜❜ he began as a single fry was dragged through a pile of ketchup ⅋ popped between lips. ❛❛ but— ❜❜ still chewing , a smile began to crack as an inked index finger reached out to poke at the pink material of mentioned vest. ❛❛ i don't think anyone's gonna think this is mine. ❜❜

Awesome Pressure Cooker info.
Not approved by the FDA but my Grandmom and mom canned like this long before the FDA said you couldn’t, so do what makes you comfortable. WHEN CANNING I teach canning and here are my beginner guidelines. I got tired of the canning books going the long way around the barn to “explain” things, and then they don’t really give all the info so I came up with my own list of simple to the point…
