TOP   THREE   SHIPS. {I’ll tag specific blogs and I won’t stick to three because I’m a rebel} Is this an ‘in canon’ question or just blog specific? Interesting. I would definitely have to say Soriku, if that’s not obvious then you haven’t read my blog { @lightheartedwarrior​ -- Riku’s fiance, Sora}. They get each other in ways that no one else can understand. They complete each other. Next, I’m a huge fan of RiKai { @ofsanctum​ }, they play off each other so well but also meld very well. I adore them a lot. These next two ships, Riku has allowed himself to be the more. . .  Submissive one, if you will {it’s not the word I want but we’re here}, and it’s really touching to see. I fell in love with Terriku {Terra and Riku, @darknessbled​ and @freedfromthedark​ } as a ship. I love their protective nature of one another, watching their dynamic teeter between Master/Apprentice {Terra being the Master} but also while being in love.  They are definitely a slow burn and I’m here for it.  Next, RikuVani { @unversedsxul​ } are just. . . How do I describe it? I don’t know. They work? Okay. They just work.  The darkness in each other balances out one another. Vanitas’ protectiveness over Riku and dominance over him. . . They’re just a really nice dynamic, I don’t make the rules.  I’m going to stop here before this list gets too long. I have endless ships throughout my time of rping that are my favourite {not just on Riku either}, so if you’re curious just ask. ^-^

HEY!! i was wondering if you could share your favorite fics with vanitas as sort of the main focus...

ofc!! i should note i haven't been on archive of our own in a HOT MINUTE so dont mind me recommending most of nichis work hope by llien brief vanitas character study, part of the departure series Though I did what I thought I had to do, I still lost you by llien alot of aqua pov but vani focused i would say (also what gave me departure au brainrot since it revoles around him) love is a language by llien very sad "what-if" with vanitas pov accidentally killing xehanort, character study Things that go Bump in the Night by greenegg101 another "what if" i never got around to reading but i was recommended, i trust my friends judgment Bubble Bath by Shoulderpads vanitas taking a bubble bath for the first time... weh Like Boys and Birds by pineovercoat more of a riku character study but its from vanitas pov, also what added fuel to fire on my rikuvani brainrot (all of pines work is amazing too)
