It’s so funny to me that the only coworkers who would be nice to Ed aren’t even technically his coworkers

Like it’s sad but it’s also funny

Harvey works all the way in the attorneys office

Valerie doesn’t even work in the legal system at all, she’s with the Gotham Chronicle

He kinda works with Lee but she’s medical examiner and busy 24/7 so despite actually working in the same building they don’t sit and chat much

They all work together on cases sometimes, yeah, their jobs intersect, but they aren’t coworkers they’re not from the same department, honestly not even from the same agency

Ed only gets to have friends when someone stops by to pick up evidence or briefly discuss a case this is pathetic
