Wait. So much to unpack here.

1. I lowkey love Hobi and Y/N’s chemistry. I have a feeling they are gonna be so fucking cute together. BUT, I want all the mess first.

2. I see Hobi getting bold calling her greedy. We all know she ran out of there before she would let more happen. And I know Hobi knows that too. That little bit of leeway got him feeling confident.

3. There is trouble in paradise. Joon you damn idiot. I have a feeling Cyn is not for the bullshit so you know she told him where to pick it up and lay it down. I got a feeling by the end if this there will be no more openness in that marriage.

4. Not JK being a professional sugar baby, worrying about where the hell he is gonna take a date. A girl he “wasnt interested in” that girl is about to run his life and wreck him.

5. Yoongi is a hoe. Thats it.

6. This might be my favorite Yoongi. Over “Be my Baby” Yoongi. Might take the cake. The audacity. The unmitigated gall of this man.

7. Im starting to feel like Yoongi wants Tae from the sheer challenge of getting Tae. And Tae is fine as hell.

8. Why am I not surprised no one believes our Man Hobi about this date. I know he is about to be adorable and dopey. Thats why she cant resist him.

Also, about last chapter how you put “Lalapalooza Hobi” as a warning that was a whole different man.

1. it's crazy bc they're lowkey so similar but neither of them are able to realize it bc hobi refuses to be himself nd yn has her guard up so high . hopefully during their date all of that melts away nd they can really see each other bc they'll be sooo cute!!

Hi, baby. I'm back here. My answers:

1- I don't know if it's because I feel very represented but I really like kintsugi. I like everything you write.

2- My favorite chapter is the one where the main character goes to visit yoongi in daegu. (8 I think, if my memory isn't failing me) I love that yoongi's point of view is so different from the reader. It's there that it's shown that their connection really is more than friendship.

3-One of the best is certainly Hoseok from AFL, he's caring, likable, friendly and completely honest. I love characters like that.

5- I don't know if there's anything of yours I haven't read. I think I've read your entire masterlist. 😳

13- As I told Hali yesterday, ☝️ 🤓 I always talk about what I'm reading to my psychologist. When yoongi vented to the main character about being the black sheep, it really touched me because I've been in the same position as him and somehow that chapter reminded me of my childhood. I even felt like I had a deja-vu reading it.

14- AFL, like i really had a love-hate thing with the reader, like… ok. namjoon is messy and etc, but you're at his house! 😬 and you hated him but you also wanted to have sex with him?🤨 make some sense. when there was the dinner at his house i was so embarrassed reading that. 🧐 but then when i saw that she suffered with her ex-husband i was so sad that i CRIED gee i hardly ever cry with fics.

A: dude, thank you SO much! that fic is really important to me, so it means so much when people like it or think i got stuff right!! so i wrote the vast majority of that fic in my first 2 or 3 months of being into bts (i’ve been here ALMOST a year now, my bangtanniversary is sept 28!), which means i’d watched a lot of stuff but not like the hugest amount, and there are definitely some character decisions i might make a little differently if i were writing it now. but i DO remember some of the stuff that influenced me, so i’m gonna list it here:

🐿 old bangtan bombs for jk’s baby crush on hobi, esp this one where they practice their autographs and this one where jk’s embarrassed about petting hobi’s hair to help him sleep

🐰 the episode behind the scenes of the daydream mv was also big! jk is so quiet in it but he sticks around for so long and he’s clearly so interested and invested and supportive, and hobi appreciates it SO much, it’s incredibly sweet

🐿 bon voyage season 1! i don’t remember which episodes are which, but hobi and jk are paired together for a lot of this (they go to ikea together just to eat meatballs they’re BABIES 😭) and it’s old but i think it’s a good study of the way hobi very much babies and protects jk but also treats him like he’s worth listening to and accepts his help. miintae has all the eps linked on their tumblr here [EDIT from 2020 clarz: miintae’s tumblr got copyright claimed and deleted but eps can be found here now (the site is sometimes password-protected, but the password is always easy to figure out based on the hint with a little sleuthing)]

Part 1, Taegi Goblin AU

This is the summary sort whatever I had texted to my friend who then compiled the messages and put them together.

Trigger warnings for multiple character death.

So, obviously, Yoongi is the Goblin.

Min Yoongi who has lived for years...

And presently, it is some year in the future where cities are very less and agricultural fields more? most of the world is connected together that way.

Yoongi is travelling down the countryside when something suddenly appears in front of his car and his car somersaults.

He is fine, of course, but his car is damaged. He doesn't feel like fixing his own car and would rather find a mechanic when this really friendly boy who sees him in the field approaches him.

And Yoongi tries to get him to stop pestering him but ends up, accidentally or not, revealing that he isn't exactly human when he burns some of the harvest.

He chooses to walk away from there

A few weeks later, he reaches his home (hitch hiked, bought a new car etc) and he lives with Kim Namjoon and Seokjin

As a Goblin, he knows people are born more than once but more the regret/sin in your life, the more times you're born and the more painful the next life becomes.

Also, soulmates, Gods have realised are born. Each life may or may not give you the same soulmate from the first life

And you're born with, at least, one bit of the name from the first life and or same face. Only rarely, they're born with all of that together.

The boy in the field who introduced himself as Taetae has both the face and "Tae" in it

And Yoongi is afraid that he is reincarnation of someone he used to know

Kim Namjoon and Seokjin are together and Joon and Yoongi are friends

They don't know he isn't human.

And Yoongi is jealous of them as he thinks he can't ever have a soulmate but he supports them

There's also the fact that Joon used to think Yoongi was his soulmate in his first live

Life*

Yoongi was the Chamberlain to His Highness Kim Minjae and Joon was the First Aide

This was forbidden and Yoongi wasn't interested

Subsequently, on the King's order, Joon was married to the Princess

After one of the battles, they were resting in one of the quaint villages, where Joon had confessed him. There Joon had made a friend whom Yoongi never got to meet.

Anyway, present days, somehow Tae ends up in the city who is looking for a job, got kidnapped but escaped etc shit like that and Yoongi takes him in when he realises he is an orphan. Seokjin immediately takes to him and hens after him and Yoongi avoids him at home

Cuz he feels guilty and tries his best to stay away but still falls in love

Under the Kims teaching, Tae becomes a Kim and chooses to register himself officially in the city as Kim Taehyung. Yoongi things he's cursed.

The other Gods like Yook Sungjae (😂), Kim El who prefer to go by human names to keep the appearance of Yoongi's employees always warn him about the "Goblin's prophecy"

After Taehyung moved in, slowly the other 2 find out too that Yoongi isn't human and they are supportive. Jin is stoked by it, ofc

Goblin's Bride prophecy

Yoongi finds out the thing that had appeared in front of his car that led him to meet Tae was a Grim Reaper who isn't able to control how he apparates through space

And that's Jung Hoseok

Hoseok and him keep bickering etc and thanks to Tae 's insistence ends up with them in their house

Yoongi hates it and bitches all the time about so many people in his house, esp, Grim Reaper but he secretly likes seeing people in his house and finally, maybe, he thinks he can call it home. He hopes.

He is petty af but when the Hoseok settles down and becomes domestic like instead of the vagabond Reaper, Yoongi becomes his wingman to help him out with his love love

Life*

Yoongi thinks his interference there is subtle but Hobi knows

But pretends not to cuz they both got pride and ego

Park Jimin

Jin takes them out once for celebration as Hobi becomes the new member of the house and there they met the owner of the cafe, Park Jimin

Jimin is forward and approaches Hobi and says Hobi is his soulmate but obviously, Hobi doesn't know it cuz he's a Grim Reaper

He can't feel it

Hobi, tells Yoongi that night as they all know one becomes a Reaper with the level of sin committed and he must have made one big enough to end up this high on the Reaper chain

And he also confides in Yoongi that he can read everyone's past lives including a Goblin's

And while he can't recall what his sin was, his punishment is living with the knowledge that he had done something massively wrong

No, Sungjae is a God who pretends to be Yoongi's employees

And he tells Yoongi he'll never know now who his soulmate was and they must be better off without him

And Yoongi tells his situation is no better. Hobi says but Taehyung is your soulmate and Yoongi reminds him that according to the prophecy, the Goblin's immortality (possibly death) ends with his bride (soulmate)

They toast under the table cuz that's where they were talking

Unfortunately or fortunately for Hobi, Taehyung and Jimin get along really well so he sees Jimin more and more and wonders if it is worth developing emotions for a human

Many weeks later, let's say, Jin throws a party cuz the Grim Reaper is sad

Since he's in a dilemma over whether to accept his feelings for Jimin

And Jin asks Hobi when he boasts that Grim Reaper can see one's previous lives

Hobi looks surprised

He tells Jin that he had only 2 lives before this which is pretty less for any human being and that in his first life, he was a Princess

They all laugh cuz they think Hobi is drunk

But Hobi vouches for him saying, he was a Princess in a particular Goseon era during the rule of Kim Minjae. He's been Kim in all his lives. Jin asks if he was married as a Princess to anyone and Hobi says, yes, to the First Aid of His Highness, Kim Namjoon. Jin is happy and proud and smug. Yoongi is horrified. He had never lived to see Joon get married

Yoongi asks how long they had been married. Jin asks if they had children too. Hobi says no. Hobi refuses to elaborate.

Later, he tells Yoongi cuz one isn't supposed to say the human how they died

Hobi asks Yoongi if he recognises Joon if not Jin and Yoongi says yes, he does

And if he is aware what happened in the Kim dynasty and he says no.

Hobi tells him that King Minjae was murdered a few years after Jin's marriage and Joon and his friend Jeongguk were hanged for committing murder (and hence, treason to the state)

Break time. Need to have dinner

Till then, your thoughts/theories

Hobi asks Yoongi if he remembers Joon and he says, yes

That they were friends. He, however, does not understand why Joon would murder the King since Joon was the kind of loyal most Kings would dream of.

Hobi asks if he ever returned his attentions and Yoongi says no. So, does he like Tae, Hobi asks and Yoongi says, I am afraid so. Hobi promises him that he won't touch Tae and find out his past but he has a question.

He asks why he avoids Taehyung.

Yoongi says that all he can say is Taehyung' s someone he knew from his human life

Hobi asks if he is sure cuz sometimes people have the same face but they aren't the same human life.

Yoongi says the way his life is, Tae must be that Taehyung. Taehyung must be the Goblin's Bride.

Yoongi thinks the Goblin prophecy must be true. That his life is cursed cuz Taehyung from his human life was the village boy whom he had abducted for His Majesty's harem.

So even if this Taehyung maybe not that, it still is a torture

Yeah, the fic was gonna be dark and full of angst

But none of these people know that

Taehyung doesn't know that

And it takes helluva time to adjust to the fact that his soulmate, he had kidnapped and given away to the King

He hates himself even more cuz in every life Tae has been sweet and innocent and who knows, maybe like Namjin, they would have ended up together in that life and in this life again.

Tae asks him many times why Yoongi thinks their life is cursed or what's the Goblin's Bride prophecy but Yoongi doesn't explain.

Yoongi doesn't even know what happened to that Tae and doesn't want to imagine what might have happened.

Thing is, I can't recall why Yoongi was killed😂😂😂

Anyway, it wasn't much

Yoongi had committed many crimes under the order and even willingly, for his King and the King stabs him after that Battle for some random reason cuz the King was told Yoongi was conspiring against him.

Namjoon is a philosopher and he tells Yoongi that he believes that people have multiple lives. He has believed that even before he met Yoongi and now he knows

He asks if Yoongi if it is possible to remember one's past life because sometimes, he feels he remembers things that have never happened or else how did he recognise Yoongi the first time they had met (collided in the market) but hadn't even known him then.

Yoongi tells him that maybe possible but it is better not to. Namjoon says if this is his possible third life and if sin or regret increases one's rebirths, then he must have done something. He asks Yoongi if they knew each other in his previous lives and Yoongi just says it is better to not know about things you can never see.

But, obviously, that makes Namjoon more determined to find out.

Besides all this, now everyone is excited to see how Hobi and Jimin end up.

Yoongi wonders if Namjoon is that Joon and Jin is that Princess and Yoongi is Yoongi and if there's also Tae, then where is the King

If he too has taken a rebirth and is with them

Or maybe he was born in another era.

He also wonders why Joon killed the King and who was the other murderer.
