âyeah so, we really need attention to detail, someone with a good background in manufacturing who knows what theyâre doing, someone who knows how to program CNC mills and lathes, and whoâs willing to learn 3 new softwares that we think are tough to learn but new grads donât really wanna learnâ
âoh i can do all those things and i know 1 of the 3 softwares alreadyâ
âoh great. so yeah we want you but youâd be a temp worker for $25 an hour and since youâre a temp you get no benefitsâ
what the fuck.

Mountain Drive: Lamborghini HuracĂĄn EVO Spyder Embodies Exotic Car Fundamentals

Mountain Drive: Lamborghini HuracĂĄn EVO Spyder Embodies Exotic Car Fundamentals
Lamborghini Huracån has stood the test of time, proving just as entertaining and surprisingly easy ⊠[] to live with as it did nearly seven years ago.
After seven years, Lamborghini HuracĂĄn, especially in Spyder bodywork, still delivers on all the fantasies first-time exotic car buyers often express. The elevator story begins with the dual-clutch 7-speed that shifts so quickly and smoothly it turns the 610-horsepower 10-cylinder engine into a musical instrument, revs shrieking on the way up to 8000 rpm, then burbling and crackling off-throttle. Any car that hits 60 mph in 3.5 seconds or less will leave the uninitiated gasping for breath, and HuracĂĄn Spyder in rear-wheel drive configuration can perform that trick over and overâanytime, anywhere.
Brilliant orange (Arancio Borealis) is a pricy option, but worth it if one intends to keep the car ⊠[] long-term. Psychedelic. From A-pillar to the rear deck, the doortop has a sweep just like the signature breast pocket of a Cesare Attolini sport coat from Naples.
Filippo Periniâs chiseled little bull has stood the test of time, the original design benefiting from Lamborghini design director Mitja Borkertâs EVO updates. HuracĂĄn is about a foot longer than a stubby VW GTI, stands considerably lower and seems diminutive in the flesh. A very tidy little package.
Lamborghini has added a touchscreen to the center console with the EVO model. Layers of menus. But ⊠[] Design chief Mitja Borkert integrated it so well youâd assume itâs been there since 2014.
Just like big brother Aventador, HuracĂĄnâs interior could serve as cockpit of a short-range fighter in the soon to be established Italian Space Force: deep dashtop under a radically swept windshield, simple aerospace-inspired switchgear, splashes of brightly colored and downright kinky leather, and that starter button under the bright red flip-up cover. In EVO form, the slim shell bucket seats allow just enough room for taller people, though people over six foot two will be viewing the world through the upper third of the windscreen. HuracĂĄn best suits people of median height.
Slender shell seats help taller people fit. HuracĂĄn is not the roomiest supercar around, not the ⊠[] most accommodating of tall folks. When specâing interior, explore seating options carefully if youâre much over six foot.
Passengers ride in the carbon-fiber central tub. Alloy spars front and rear extend to carry suspension and powertrain. Toss in monstrous disc brakes, psychedelic paint colors, and of course that magical name with all those vowels and HuracĂĄn scratches the exotic car itch just as well as it did in 2014. Missing are Lamborghini scissor doors, but those would take away from HuracĂĄnâs practicality, and diminish the aspirational nature of the V12 Aventador. If you want the scissor doors, you pay for the V12.
Huracån performs like a 4-wheeled superbike, able to exploit moments in time, blitzing away from ⊠[] stoplights, leaving lines of cars in its wake, or transforming an onramp into a drag strip for four or five seconds.
Just as I noted years ago after driving a HuracĂĄn for the first time, assembly quality is impeccable. Inspect how body panels are joined, the clinically clean installation of door and hood hinges, tight, accurate stitching and panel gaps throughout the interior and the total lack of any squeaks or rattles even on press cars that have been hammered by people with a wide range of driving skill and sometimes dubious measures of respect for beautiful artifacts loaned to them. HuracĂĄn is a tough little beast.
Low profile view shows the extremely fast windshield, steeply raked. The buttresses at the rear make ⊠[] wonderful âstreamersâ off the backs of the headrests. Minimal rear overhang. The retractable top is as good as any. Itâs a simple, short stretch of canvas. Up it makes the car feel like your childhood pup tent, a cozy secret hiding place.
Knock-on effect of proper German-grade assembly is HuracĂĄnâs long-proven reliability, the car completely sussed, completely sorted out. HuracĂĄn demands little sacrifice and generates virtually no angst in return for so much pleasure. Powertrain and related stability control fundamentals are so robust that aftermarket tuners bolt on pressure-charging systems and dial up significant jumps in absolute horsepower, yet engine and gearbox hold together. As engineers love to say, itâs robust.
Strada is relatively plush, perfect around town. Sport livens up performance, sharpens shift points ⊠[] and engine sounds much livelier. Control is at bottom spoke of steering wheel.
No matter the 610 horsepower and 8000 rpm redline, HuracĂĄn can be docile and easy to manage, and downright comfortable in the âStradaâ calibration setting when covering unavoidably dull highway miles in mixed traffic.
Front-end lift can be pressed without taking eyes from the road, index finger on the second ⊠[] rectangular box switch from the left. The same can be done to cancel start-stop (second from right) and to engage all the parking sensors and cameras (third from right).
To prove the point, HuracĂĄn served two mornings with runs to the dry cleaner, bank, post office with loads of Christmas cards, a milk-and-croissant expedition to our nearby luxe bodega, all achieved without the least hassle in parking structures, on narrow streets, or reversing onto a heavily traveled boulevard. My God, itâs a real car, a fact that never fails to impress an old timer like me, who remembers just how finicky supercars of the 1960s, â70s and â80s could be. As a young editor I dreamed of everyday supercars, and now they truly exist. Pick up dry cleaning in a Lamborghini and one becomes a highly prized return customer. Yet in the middle of all that I found opportunity to press calibration into âSportâ and blow out the cobwebs.
Thanks to a full array of cameras and sensors, Huracån should never bump into solid objects in a ⊠[] parking garage.
Sensors and cameras from the VW Groupâs luxury brand parts bin help when negotiating tight spots. These are systems with millions of real-world miles to their credit. HuracĂĄnâs front-end lift is both generous with height and remains deployed till speeds climb beyond those of quirky narrow two-lanes or when given the command to drop. Its control switch at the top of the center stack can be pressed without taking eyes from the road, index finger on the second rectangular box switch from the left, making short work of a too-deep rain gutter where highway offramp meets boulevard.
Test car did not have the aero deflector winglets installed that can be added near the rear ⊠[] buttresses. They prevent back-spill of cold air onto the shoulders and neck. On the other hand, I found the back-spill refreshing on a top-down run down the mountain after sunset.
The same can be done to cancel start-stop (second from right) and to engage all the parking sensors and cameras (third from right). HuracĂĄnâs turning circle is surprisingly tight, though the rear-drive models do not have or need the rear-steer system. HuracĂĄn thrives in urban settings and quirky beach neighborhoods with oddball parking arrangements, something that more radical exotics, like track specials, cannot do. From Santa Barbara to Malibu and Naples Island, to Mission Bay, HuracĂĄn will do the job.
Wheel design echoes the signature Y shape that repeats throughout the car, from the headlights back. ⊠[] They are 19 inches tall, so not too huge, and the suspension can ably and easily keep the big wheel/tire package under control, so ride quality is very high. 8-piston calipers up front. 14,37-in. discs up front. And 14.0-in at the rear with a 4-piston caliper.
Most important for an exotic car, HuracĂĄn performs on demand with jolts of acceleration from standstill or highway roll-on. HuracĂĄn performs like a 4-wheeled superbike, able to exploit moments in time, blitzing away from stoplights, leaving lines of cars in its wake, or transforming an onramp into a drag strip for four or five seconds. Isnât that always satisfying? And HuracĂĄn makes it simple, bringing this type of performance to a much wider audience than such car had in past decades.
HuracĂĄn has 610 horsepower at a heady 8000 rpm, and 413 lb. ft. of torque at 6500. The engine is ⊠[] totally alive in the middle Sport setting, revs freely and rapidly, and truly shrieks from about 5000 rpm up. If youâre on the hunt, keep the revs above 5000 and enjoy the opera.
The big V10 may be a mix of German and Italian engineering, but as calibrated, as the exhaust note is tuned, HuracĂĄnâs V10 is fluently Italian. The shriek from 6000 to 8000 is straight out of a video game, yet the experience is real, adding excitement in what might otherwise be a less interesting day. I confess my preference is for the 4-wheel drive HuracĂĄn because it is a few tenths quicker in stoplight drag racing, and I hope to drive the new track special STO next spring, but the rear-drive Spyder I drove adds dimension, lighting up the tires for a moment, slipping and sliding. Sure, you give up a few tenths of a second, but you gain that thrilling old sensation we forget as mature adults, of the heart seeming to rise in our chests. How much is that worth? Itâs addictive.
Lamborghini can pluck systems from the VW Groupâs luxury divisions. They use the best NVIDIA chip ⊠[] for graphics, adding to the sense of excitement and special nature of the car. And the steering column has an incredible range of adjustment, which helps significantly.
HuracĂĄnâs life cycle has reached that perfect stage for the buyer who intends to keep a reward car long-term, not the guy who wants the latest to show off. HuracĂĄn Spyder will bring years of pleasure with about as little headache as one can expect with an exotic car. After seven years, it still looks stunning and will look just as good in another 10 or 20 years. When I meet folks who want a first exotic, a first supercar, I always put HuracĂĄn on the shopping list.

A Few Cities Have Cornered Innovation Jobs. Can That Be Changed?
There are about a dozen industries at the frontier of innovation. They include software and pharmaceuticals, semiconductors and data processing. Most of their workers have science or tech degrees. They invest heavily in research and development. While they account for only 3 percent of all jobs, they account for 6 percent of the countryâs economic output. And if you donât live in one of a handful of urban areas along the coasts, you are unlikely to get a job in one of them.Boston, Seattle, San Diego, San Francisco and Silicon Valley captured nine out of 10 jobs created in these industries from 2005 to 2017, according to a report released on Monday. By 2017, these five metropolitan regions had accumulated almost a quarter of these jobs, up from under 18 percent a dozen years earlier. On the other end, about half of Americaâs 382 metro areas â including big cities like Los Angeles, Chicago and Philadelphia â lost such jobs. And the concentration of prosperity does not appear to be slowing down.Americaâs deepening inequality has become a cause for alarm. The picture of a country cloven between a small set of prosperous urban âhavesâ and a large collection of âhave-notsâ has come sharply into focus as an opioid epidemic has overtaken vast swaths of the country. It gained the attention of the political class in 2016, when voters across the industrial heartland embraced Donald J. Trumpâs populist message. The search for ideas that could improve the economic conditions of deprived areas, long derided by economists as a foolâs errand â why spend money on improving the lot of places rather than people, many experts argued â is now at the top of policymakersâ lists. The report is by Mark Muro and Jacob Whiton from the Brookings Institutionâs Metropolitan Policy Program, and Rob Atkinson of the Information Technology and Innovation Foundation, a research group that gets funding from tech and telecom companies. They identified 13 âinnovation industriesâ â which include aerospace, communications equipment production and chemical manufacturing â where at least 45 percent of the work force has degrees in science, tech, engineering or math, and where investments in research and development amount to at least $20,000 per worker. The authors argue that a broad federal push is needed to spread the business of invention beyond the 20 cities that dominate it. âHoping for economic convergence to reassert itself would not be a good strategy,â Mr. Muro said.Expanding the knowledge economy across all of America might indeed be a foolâs errand. As Mr. Atkinson noted, Erie, Pa., and Flint, Mich., might never attract the Googles or Apples of the world. But midsize cities like St. Louis, Pittsburgh and Columbus, Ohio, could feasibly transform into hubs of technological entrepreneurship. The reportâs authors propose identifying eight to 10 cities, far from the coasts, that already have a research university and a critical mass of people with advanced degrees. The government would then spend about $700 million a year for research and development in each of them for a decade. Lawmakers could give high-tech businesses that set up shop in these cities tax and regulatory breaks. Mr. Atkinson suggested a limited break from antitrust law to allow businesses to coordinate location decisions.Battling the forces driving concentration will be tough. Unlike the manufacturing industries of the 20th century, which competed largely on cost, the tech businesses compete on having the next best thing. Cheap labor, which can help attract manufacturers to depressed areas, doesnât work as an incentive. Instead, innovation industries cluster in cities where there are lots of highly educated workers, sophisticated suppliers and research institutions.Unlike businesses in, say, retail or health care, innovation businesses experience a sharp rise in the productivity of their workers if they are in places with lots of other such workers, according to research by Enrico Moretti, who is an economist at the University of California, Berkeley, and others.Other industries and workers are also better off if they have the good fortune of being near leading-edge companies. The report points out that the average output per worker in the 20 cities with the most employment in the 13 high-tech industries is $109,443, one-third more than in the other 363 metros across the country. The cycle is hard to break: Young educated workers will flock to cities with large knowledge industries because thatâs where they will find the best opportunities to earn and learn and have fun. And start-ups will go there to seek them out.Even skyrocketing housing costs have not stopped the concentration of talent in a few superstar cities. High-tech companies that seek cheaper places to set up beyond their hubs often go to Bangalore, India, rather than Birmingham, Ala.âThey keep the core team in Silicon Valley or Seattle but put the other stuff in Shenzhen or Vancouver or Bangalore,â Mr. Atkinson said. Shenzhen, China, may not be much cheaper than Indianapolis, he added, but Shenzhen is already a tech hub in its own right. It is uncertain whether government support could pull innovation out of the clutches of superstar cities. The proposal by Brookings and the Information Technology Foundation will not come cheap: They estimate a $100 billion price tag over 10 years. The payoff, however, would extend beyond the new technology hubs. Jon Gruber, an economist at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, noted that in a world where Cincinnati becomes a hub of entrepreneurship, âwe donât need to fix opioid countryâ in Appalachia. Thatâs because many of those areas are within commuting distance of Cincinnati.Whatâs more, not trying also entails risks. In his book âJump-Starting America,â Mr. Gruber and his co-writer, M.I.T.âs Simon Johnson, argue for a sustained national effort to seed new technology clusters widely. Without federal government support, Mr. Gruber said, the United States is unlikely to produce many new high-tech hubs. The risk, he said, is not only that much of America will be left to founder as superstar cities become more congested and less affordable. Political support for publicly funded research will crumble unless more of the country enjoys the benefits from innovation. Source link Read the full article

The Future of College

The Future of College
The mannequin of larger education that weve inherited is you go to college, you get your diploma, you go by means of commencement, finished. We dont are living in that world anymore. So now lets speak about the two R that had been in that equation So R subscript E is the desired return to equity holders. And weâre going to follow a model that is noted in finance called the capital asset pricing model. This trainer is creating a digital learning experience with the help of a workforce at Georgia Tech university. As soon as its integrated right into a path, her lecture might be watchable wherever her students can get on-line. Its part of a trend thats spurred a fair amount of hype. Would this be a revolution for on-line education? I have to surprise if physical school rooms might emerge as one more casualty of the web age. Its tough to imagine a future for university that isnt touched come what may by the continuing digital revolution. But the extensively-hyped guides that are huge, open and on-line, so-called MOOCs that emphasize passively gazing video lectures, they prove to have a disappointing track file. It can be a priviledge for me to be your calculus professor this time period, and iâm comfortable that youâve chosen this course. One learn of a million customers determined best four percent of scholars ever accomplished their path. Which is why some educators say reinventing institution isnt as simple as posting a video online and observing the entire world be taught. It is a misnomer to suppose that on-line schooling is less work. Itâs a lot more work palms on with the pupils, but the workâs dispensed in a method thatâs consistently making the course better versus constantly making the direction run. At Georgia Tech, Joshua Donegal is taking a computer science class and, whilst he hardly ever meets his professor in individual, he sees him ordinarily like this. I donât consider itâs viable to slack off, you recognize that there is an additional human on the other side of the reveal observing over you, checking you, making definite that you appreciate the concepts. On the opposite side of the country in San Francisco, a brand new tuition called Minerva only presents courses as on-line seminars. And at the same time everyone here takes their lessons remotely, academics track students as intently as if theyre in the same room. Most likely more. Its a are living video environment the place up to 20 scholars / professors can have interaction with one-one more in actual time. All the classes are synchronized. It is about actual time communique. I consider if you came to a Minerva type with a hangover, you might regret it via the tip. Welcome to monetary Modelling. Each of these colleges bill themselves as being on better educations innovative, and both are going through an financial truth, which could shock individuals who think technological disruption always way saving lots of cash. If you do online correct, itâs not low cost. Economist David Feldman says digital technological know-how is not more likely to lead to an international the place each person skips university and gets an online measure totally free. Getting a school measure shouldnât be a financial assurance. Nothing is a financial guarantee. However over the last 35 to forty years, getting a university measure has emerge as an ever better wager. Which is why, despite mounting scholar debt, going to institution generally makes sense, even for men and women who borrow to pay for it. The data are very clear that probably the most promising way for anyone who starts out on the backside of the income distribution, who comes from a low income family to move up, the satisfactory manner to try this is to get a bachelors measure.I certainly consider that college is extra fundamental than ever, period, full stop. And that i think that we ought to be remaking schooling. One of the most extra urgent motives for this variation grows out of a new truth graduates will face as technological know-how transforms the landscape of employment. The arena is moving so rapid that you simply are not able to go to school for four years and be all set for 4 years. If your focus is on, "Letâs make this 18-12 months-old quite completely satisfied with going to football games," youâre not going to stay in business very long. There are persons which are altering jobs 5 â 6 times over the path of their profession. They are usually in industries where disruptive alternate is taking place always. And so, they arrive again to universities and say, "can you help me with this?" And this has some scholars and universities rethinking the model of school as a single stage of life. So the ancient model for institution was once that folks would exhibit up as 18-year-historic excessive university graduates, spend four years with you, and then you could ship them out and they might work for the subsequent forty or 50 years. And this classic mannequin of tuition is more recent than you would believe. Essentially the most long-established clich I hear about education is that is hasnt modified in 2000 years. Thats wholly now not actual. In the end of the nineteenth Century, each European and American schools realized the whole world had been industrialized. You had to have a further role in society. You had to one more kind of schooling, and schooling went through huge transformations. A lot of the matters we take as a right in the us tuition expertise like entrance exams, more than one option questions, grades, even the divisions amongst many educational disciplines had been adopted throughout one other time of rapid technological change, between the Eighteen Eighties and Twenties. And we now equally ought to go through big transformations for a world thatâs not an industrial world, but an interconnected, linked world. And that i continually say if folks did this in 1890, we will alternate bigger schooling now. I suppose have been at the tipping point, and have been about to peer gigantic alterations in bigger education from inside of. And Georgia Tech is betting on this future with applications like a full-credit score masters measure in pc science that pupils can take online, from anyplace on the planet. The brand new model is that persons come again to you episodically over the direction of their lifetimes. The net masterâs application is a window into this future that we suppose. University isnt for children. I mean, Im 36 years old now. I have three kids Ive been working professionally for a number of years. But I find it very helpful to come back back to the university environment to aid make stronger my skillset. Otherwise, I might be at the back of the eight ball. And its not simply mid-profession experts who are feeling this strain. Sarah Hernandez is a 24 12 months historical aerospace engineer who, shortly after graduating with a mechanical engineering measure from Rice institution in 2016, landed what you might suppose is the job of a lifetime. I am a study engineer at the NASA Ames research middle here in Mountain View, California. And that implies I climb around wind tunnels, hooked up experiments, run wind tunnels, take information, and then analyze the data after the fact.We test something from just 18 wheelers to full sized rockets. Iâd wish to suppose this kind of makes me a rocket scientist⊠On the grounds that I work on rockets. Yeah. However she needs to check her potential to a workplace thats becoming more digital at all times. Thats why, slightly more than a year out of tuition, shes going back taking Georgia Techs masters in pc science software from residence. There is a variety of scary stuff available in the market in terms of the place the arenaâs heading. I feel numerous us are just very antsy proper now. That is type of how iâm coping with it. The fact of the sector weâre in proper nowâs that you have got to preserve finding out and keep retooling yourself to be, priceless in our society, which is lamentably how our society features. I think like I constantly have got to be accelerating. Which could advise that, for many of us, the way forward for tuition shall be extra of it. The venture, for pupils, will be finding ways to pay for more schooling especially when theyre in between jobs. Some advocates are calling for faculties to rethink the industry mannequin for education thats lifelong.Im interested and encouraged via a brand new development of many universities to offer lifelong alumni advantages the place which you can come back to your possess university and both for a reduced cost, or generally even free, take lessons. Its good trade on colleges section to do that, but its additionally a sense that we owe whatever to you for the leisure of your existence. .

Its good trade on colleges section to do that, but its additionally a sense that we owe whatever to you for the leisure of your existence. .

No Gym? No Problem? Jimmy the Engineerâs Epic Transformation.
âHOLY CRAP, JIMMY!â
Itâs amazing what can happen in 12 months with the right plan!
This is Jimmy, an aeronautical engineer from Atlanta who is currently getting his masterâs in aerospace engineering.
He joined our Online Coaching Program in early 2019 and let us know he had a dream of being able to dress up and cosplay as Spider-Man (photo below).
(As somebody who used to dress up like Superman 4 days a week, I get it.)
Jimmyâs situation had some interesting wrinkles:
He works a full-time job AND is studying to become an aerospace engineer.
He was a self-described âpicky eaterâ and wasnât sure how to fix his diet.
He had worked out in the past, but didnât enjoy going to the gym.
To that, we said, âWell, Jimmy, letâs get to WORK.â
(cue the training montage and Spider-Man music!)
HOW JIMMY GOT IN SHAPE
Coach Justin from Team Nerd Fitness created a specific program for Jimmy called âOperation Holland.â
You know, like Tom Holland, the actor who plays Spider-Man.
Justin and Jimmy worked hand-in-hand (well, virtually anyway) through the Nerd Fitness app to build a program that fit Jimmyâs busy life.
12 months laterâŠyou be the judge.
Iâd say âOperation Hollandâ was a success!
Here are the 4 BIG changes that helped Jimmy make the most progress:
#1) NUTRITION IS EVERYTHING: In his own words: âReally shows that fixing the diet is the most important thing. Iâve worked out a decent amount for months before but never got close to this.ââŁâŁâ â
Coach Justin created a nutritional strategy for Jimmy that worked around his picky eating, which provided enough protein for muscle building, and helped him stay full while also losing fat. â
#2) NO GYM REQUIRED: Jimmy trained in his home with just bodyweight exercises, some dumbbells, and gymnastic rings. âŁâ â
This style of training can build muscle, it just needs to be done with the right intention and intensity! For example, not just doing more push-ups, but switching to decline push-ups to make them harder.âŁâ â
Jimmy started with push-ups and squats, but now heâs doing advanced gymnastic moves like the front lever!âŁâ â
#3) PRIORITIZE YOURSELF:Â Jimmy has been with our program for a year now, and knew this transformation wouldnât happen overnight.
He stayed the course, focused on his nutrition, and put in the time.⣠Itâs really easy to get sidetracked or give up when things get challenging, especially if life becomes hectic. Iâm proud of Jimmy for choosing himself and sticking with it!
#4) CONSISTENCY AND ADHERENCE:Â We often OVERestimate what we can do in a day, and UNDERestimate what we can accomplish in a year.
You can do amazing things in a yearâŠif you can STICK with it for the entire year!
A transformation like this requires focus to follow a plan, especially when bored or busy, and the discipline to get right back on track after a speed bump.â
Fortunately, Jimmy had confidence in his coachâs plan, and all he had to do was follow the path!
Iâm really proud of what Jimmy accomplished in the NF Coaching Program, and Iâd love to help you transform too.
WHERE WILL YOU BE IN 12 MONTHS?
Think back to where you were at the start of 2019:
Have you hit your goals and seen progress, or have you run into a few speed bumps?
Have you made considerable steps forward, or do you feel stuck in the mud?
If itâs the former, GREAT! Keep doing what youâre doing!
If itâs the latter, thatâs OKAY too!
Life is tough. Sh** happens. And circumstances change!
Maybe you had a kid, or changed jobs, or adopted a puppy, and life got hectic.
Maybe you just had a crappy 2019 and couldnât make any changes stick.
Now, I have another question for you: When you email me in 2021, how will you have changed?
More importantly, what are you going to do DIFFERENTLY to actually make results stick?
If I may be so bold, maybe youâll come to the conclusion you donât want to go on this weight-loss or muscle building journey alone.
(Iâve worked with an online coach for 5 years now).
You want a Yoda.
A real master who can show you the ways of the Force.
Luckily, we have a team of Jedi Masters who do this stuff all day, every day:
We have kick-ass Coaches that create nerdy-themed programs for our clients. For clients willing to put in the effort, we get amazing results.
We offer worldwide accountability and support. Our coaches provide insight beyond just âdo this workoutâ or âeat broccoli.â You can get that for free on the internet. We provide insight, expert guidance, and have the experience of coaching thousands of busy clients to success.
We actually get results. We tailor each program to each client. Single moms, students, scientists, world-traveling doctors, weâve worked with people from all walks of life. We go at the pace each client needs.
We save clients from themselves. We all have that voice in our head that tells us to give up, that things are too hard, that we should âhit pause until life gets unbusy.â
We ALSO all know that this âpauseâ strategy never works â because life doesnât have a pause button.
But dang, the voice in our head is VERY persuasive.
Fortunately, this is what we do best: help clients essentially save themselvesâŠfrom themselves.
IF you are ready to jump into battle with one of our Jedi Masters in your pocket (through the NF Coaching App, not literally)âŠ
Weâd love to hear about your journey, your struggles, and how we can help.
As they say, the best time to plant a tree is 20 years ago. The second best time is NOW!
If 2019 didnât go the way you wanted it to, let us help you make 2020 different.

And if you donât live in one of a handful of urban areas along the coasts, you are unlikely to get a job in one of them.
Boston, Seattle, San Diego, San Francisco and Silicon Valley captured nine out of 10 jobs created in these industries from 2005 to 2017, according to a report released on Monday.
And the concentration of prosperity does not appear to be slowing down.
Americaâs deepening inequality has become a cause for alarm.
Muro said.
Expanding the knowledge economy across all of America might indeed be a foolâs errand.
Mr. Atkinson suggested a limited break from antitrust law to allow businesses to coordinate location decisions.
Battling the forces driving concentration will be tough. Unlike the manufacturing industries of the 20th century, which competed largely on cost, the tech businesses compete on having the next best thing. Cheap labor, which can help attract manufacturers to depressed areas, doesnât work as an incentive. Instead, innovation industries cluster in cities where there are lots of highly educated workers, sophisticated suppliers and research institutions.
Unlike businesses in, say, retail or health care, innovation businesses experience a sharp rise in the productivity of their workers if they are in places with lots of other such workers, according to research by Enrico Moretti, who is an economist at the University of California, Berkeley, and others.
Other industries and workers are also better off if they have the good fortune of being near leading-edge companies.
And start-ups will go there to seek them out.
Even skyrocketing housing costs have not stopped the concentration of talent in a few superstar cities. High-tech companies that seek cheaper places to set up beyond their hubs often go to Bangalore, India, rather than Birmingham, Ala.
âThey keep the core team in Silicon Valley or Seattle but put the other stuff in Shenzhen or Vancouver or Bangalore,â Mr.
Thatâs because many of those areas are within commuting distance of Cincinnati.
Whatâs more, not trying also entails risks.

7 Mindsets That Ensure Success
Discover the seven success mindsets that can ensure you achieve your goals and live your dreams.
We all understand that our mindsets and how we think will determine the results we get in our lives. Highly successful people are able to produce extraordinary results in life because they think differently and act differently, as a result, they are able to achieve different outcomes than the ordinary people.
It is our thoughts that determine what we get in life. And that means, if you want to be successful, live your dreams and achieve all your goals, you have to adopt the mentality of successful people. You have to think like a successful person before you can become one.
The 7 success mindsets that can ensure your prosperity in life.
1. Adopt the Abundance Mentality
One of the most important success mindsets that prosperous people have is the abundance mentality. Successful people think in abundance. They believe that there are more than enough opportunities for everyone to achieve outstanding success in life.
When one of your best employees leaves you, you donât have to fret or worry because there are many more great people waiting to join you.
The same goes to everything in life, regardless of whether it is your client that goes away or your money, you must believe that there are plenty and it is more than enough for everyone to enjoy.
When you worry that things are insufficient, you are operating from a fearful mindset. You fear that there are not enough clients, business, and money to share in your industry. So get rid of the lack mindset and choose to think in abundance.
Successful people choose to believe that there are more than enough for everyone. They believe that money is everywhere just like there is an unlimited supply of oxygen and sunlight for everyone.
And when you think from the abundance mindset, you will operate from joy and gratefulness. You will never worry or fear that things will not be enough. And when there is no fear, you can definitely bring in more successful results in life.
2. Be Willing to Fail
We all have been conditioned by the society to think that failures and mistakes are bad and we should avoid making them. This mindset has made us into someone who does not dare to take a risk or venture out of our comfort zones.
Successful people, on the other hand, believe otherwise. They believe that in order to be successful, they should be willing to fail and failure is good because that is where they can learn the most.
Just like what Tony Robbins, the worldâs number one success coach says, âSuccess in life is the result of good judgment. Good judgment is usually the result of experience. Experience is usually the result of bad judgment.â You need to fail in order to learn and produce success.
Look at how toddlers learn to walk. They have to go through many falls before they are able to grasp the right way to walk steadily. Hence, be willing and never be afraid to fail. Treat failure as feedback so that you can learn to create the better results.
3. Have a Vision Larger Than Yourself
Another of the success mindsets that makes great people is that they have a vision larger than themselves. People tend to feel inspired and wanted to work with other people who have a bigger vision.
For example, people prefer to work for Google or Apple rather than working in a company that has no clear direction or where the boss has no vision.
When you have a vision larger than yourself, you will be inspired to work on it and more importantly, you will attract other like-minded people to join you in your journey.
So think big and dare to dream far into your future. And do not worry if things seem impossible at this moment because everything is impossible until someone comes around and proved it otherwise.
When it comes to thinking big and far, Elon Musk is one of the best examples. He believes that electric vehicles are the future even when a lot of people reject his idea. And he also started SpaceX with a mission to âcolonize Marsâ when many do not believe that it is possible.
Today, SpaceX is one of the most successful aerospace manufacturer and space travel companies that even surpasses NASA. Therefore, dream big and have a vision that is even larger than you.
4. Believe in Yourself and Have Patience
Success will never come to you in an instant. Highly successful people understand this and this is why they are willing to wait and have the patience to work for their dreams because they know that their hard work will eventually pay off in the future.
Most people do not have the patience and they do not believe in their dreams. When they started a business, they are excited about everything.
After some time, however, they started to lose steam and have doubts if their original plan will actually work out. The majority of them choose to quit and give up or venture into other businesses when they face setbacks, challenges and tough times.
If you want to be successful, you must choose to believe in yourself and have patience. A quitter will never win and a winner will never quit. As the saying goes, âRome was not built in a dayâ, so what makes you think that you can achieve extraordinary success in such a short period of time?
5. Find the Fun and Passion in What You Do
Steve Jobs, the founder of Apple once said, âYour work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work.
And the only way to do great work is to love what you do.â And yes, this is one of the requirements to live a successful life â you have to love what you do.
If you do not have a passion for what you do, you will put in the half-hearted effort, which will only result in half-hearted outcomes. The only way to do great things is to love what you do.
When you are absolutely passionate about your work, you are willing to sacrifice and do it much better than other people who have no passion for it.
Hence, you must find the fun in what you do, especially your work and business. Without passion, you will never be willing to go the extra mile and deliver more than expected.
Jobs also said that one of the reasons people quit when the hard times come because they donât have the passion. When you have the passion for what you do, you are willing to work on it even when you are not getting any pay for it.
6. Be Grateful and Celebrate Othersâ Successes
Another of the important success mindsets to adopt is to be grateful for and celebrate othersâ achievements. Think about it, when you feel resent about other peopleâs success, you will never be successful because you will never get what you hate.
If you do not like swimming, do you think you will buy swimming attire or visit the pool often? And if you hate reading, chances are, you will never buy or have many books in your house, right?
The same goes for every other part of your life. If you feel resentful when you see someone making a lot of money, chances are, you will never have a lot of money.
Highly successful people are always grateful for what they have. They feel blessed and they treat other peopleâs successes as an inspiration rather than feeling resentful about it.
When they see their friends build a successful business, they congratulate them and they feel inspired by thinking, âIf they can do it, so can Iâ.
Hence, stop feeling resentful when you see other people who are more successful than you. And adopt the mindset to be grateful for whatever you have in your life.
7. Be Optimistic and Open to Possibilities
Last, but not least, highly successful people are extremely optimistic and they are open to all possibilities. They believe that the future will be much better and the opportunities are limitless.
Science has proven that optimists are happier and more successful than pessimists. A lot of people have the wrong perception and think that once they have achieved what they want, they will be happy. The truth is otherwise.
When you are happy and joyful, success will come to you. So stop thinking that you can only be happy and enjoy when you achieved what you want, instead, choose to be happy right now and more success will come to you.
Success does not automatically bring happiness into your life, but being optimistic about life and your venture will invite opportunities and success to you.

Exactly What an Excellent Steel Building Specialist Purchases For You
A steel building professional is someone who is involved in putting up big business tasks, often dealing with giant-sized migraines along the road. The steel building contractor needs to have his act together, planning thoroughly, financing prudently, as well as running effectively allow business soon collapse. When the customer is diligent and cautious in the selection of such an industrial builder it purchases them enhanced possibilities of success and peace of mind. A good steel building specialist is not always easy to locate, but working with a thoroughly assembled collection of requirements is the best place to start. One of the most vital criterion is experience in commercial-grade, large building and construction, with specific experience in metal. However, secondary elements that round out the prospect's profile are additionally desirable, such as giving full-service offerings and being flexible with varied task kinds. This direct exposure to a variety of tasks aids to solidify a variety of connected skills. For example, one kind is starting with an empty whole lot or knocked down former site as well as erecting a building from square one. One more type is making improvements to an existing center, either to fit a modification in occupants or to retrofit while it remains to be inhabited. Though you want your professional to be flexible in regards to skill sets, you likewise desire him to be experienced in helping consumers like yourself. To puts it simply, it is not unusual for some erectors to concentrate just on personal market and also others to get job from government firms. The public customer contrasts with the personal one in considerable means, and also there isn't really constantly that much overlap. It is likewise worth recognizing that, though steel structures locate their method right into many different applications, there are 2 options in exactly how erecting them is come close to. One method is the conventional technique of building structures on site from square one. The various other means is basically a prefab approach, setting up pre-engineered steel frames for buildings back in the shop and transporting them as a device to the marked place. Both techniques are flawlessly valid, but selecting which way to go is influenced by numerous elements. Equally as there is currently a change away from using rafters for creating residential roofing systems in the direction of that of ordering preformed trusses, there are economic and precision factors for ordering preformed steel framing. The project application is also a vital factor in this choice. Steel or metal structure frames are perfect solutions when big open frameworks are required, due to the fact that they possess terrific toughness as well as comparable building homes that suit high as well as wide-open areas. The aviation as well as aerospace sectors are archetypes, requiring huge and even massive aircraft hangars. Various other transportation markets additionally typically collaborate with steel for comparable factors. construction management company However there are a lot of commercial and also companies that have essentially the same requirements. Several production and food processing demands, whether or not production line are entailed, indicate big open locations as the most rational solution in conference such demands. We could also cite many examples from refuse and recycling, warehousing, as well as distribution centers. On a subtler note, applications that may not require open spacing could still profit in the long term from steel framing if the consumer foresees spacing demands advancing in time. In such cases the strong as well as simple structure would certainly remain in place while innards and/or siding are replaced or restored. A fine example where this makes sense is a shopping mall that anticipates regular turnover of customer shops. So this is why a flexible steel building erector carries a lot of weight in terms of candidacy. Your project will resemble lots of others however it will also have distinct features, and also a professional who can swiftly adjust to your needs while applying his skills will be well worth the effort. Likewise take into consideration the extra services that a candidate service provider might or could not give. These solutions consist of handling lien launch and also various other financial purchases, safety and security preparation, authorization handling, and interfacing with government agencies. Taking all these aspects right into factor to consider, an excellent steel structure contractor purchases you plenty!

The majority of them chooses to quit and give up or venture into other businesses when they face setbacks, challenges and tough times.
