Yes, I’ve been drawing Naruto fanart for a while now (around 4 years, I believe). As for why I draw the characters I draw… well, I like them!! 

Minato… well, Minato is a very nostalgic figure for me. He has been my favourite character for more than two decades, so I have very fond memories of parts of my life somehow related to the character: chats with my old childhood friends about him, the discussions and crazy theories rampant in the old internet forums about this mysterious guy who didn’t even have a name, the hype of the early Naruto fandom, etc. I loved his design, I loved the theories about him and I loved the fandom, so the headcanons started to appear (many of them sadly confirmed not canon later on 🤣). I even liked the personality Kishi eventually gave him, although not enough to overwrite my own personal headcanons lol. I think you more or less get the idea. 

Since you also mentioned Sakura, I’ll say that I like her design, of course, but what I love about her is precisely the one thing she shares with Minato: she is no one. She has no clan, no bloodline and no kekkei genkai, and all things she achieves are due to her own effort. I’ve never been a fan of characters born with special powers, so she quickly became one of my favourites.

14. How did they initially feel after being embraced? Did they like being reborn into something knew or did it take them a while to cope with their new reality?

Despite the whole rollercoaster during LaCroix's trial, she warmed up to her unlife momentarily! Being dissatisfied with how monotonous her previous life felt in the Big Apple (boring dentist job, the few friends she had drifting away in favor of starting a family,...- all a total yawn for her), this was exactly the kind of turnaround she needed, but the whole "errand girl" thing didn't sit well.

30. Do they have a clan that they do particularly like?

Honestly she's rather neutral towards the ones she encountered thus far. It's neither here nor there, even when it comes to her own clan. There isn't really one she can confidently point to and say "I'm putting you over the rest", but she's the type to judge a kindred as an individual rather than their bloodline.

34. What are their thoughts on blood dolls?

Gretchen feasts on others without consent, finding the chase more thrilling than the catch itself. To her, blood dolls are too easy and don't offer her the excitement she craves. Pouncing on unwilling prey is what fills her and the Beast with that needed kick.

38. Do they care about the taste of blood?

Not really. She's not picky. All blood is valid to her whether it's bland or potent.

48. Detail things about your OC you spent a lot of time on!

Ooooh interesting! I'd say it would be her personality. At first I thought of making her into a stuck-up academic who's stone cold, quiet and obsessed with books, but then I was like naaaah... After musing over it for a bit, she ended up being a chill, goth nerd who isn't afraid to go on a yapping marathon, even while talking to an Elder. She makes a habit of making witty/sarcastic remarks, sometimes in the most inappropriate of situations, which nearly got her in trouble many times back when she was starting out in the Sabbat.

Tell us a story about a WoD character you've played? 🥺

OH MAN UHH i've honestly only ever really played one character! one of my partners (tho they werent my partner at the time) got very into WoD after playing bloodlines and wanted to a run a VTM chronicle, so they gathered me and a bunch of other friends to play. none of us players had any idea about lore, so it was completely new territory.

i, of course, as an avid werewolf fan that didn't really have much interest in vampires themselves, asked if i could play a werewolf instead. my storyteller explained to me why that wouldn't work, so i settled for Werewolf Lite™️ (a gangrel pc), and now i am utterly obsessed with my big scary wolf girl. her name is Veronika and she just like me fr fr. i have a bunch of art ive been meaning to post of her on my art blog but i havent gotten around to it just yet......

as for a story, i can't really think of anything super interesting off the top of my head? but i do have a story from the first chronicle we played.

my partner was running an official intro story set in Denver (Alien Hunger i think it was called?). we got to the point where we were fresh fledglings and the prince had summoned our little coterie to go see him. unfortunately due to a misunderstanding on my part as a player, i thought he was asking that we meet him not on neutral ground but at his own haven, and so in turn Veronika was utterly convinced that the prince was summoning us just so he could kill us easily. this lead to her taking every method possible of not going with the sheriff, to the point of slashing one of the cars tyres with her pocket knife so they couldnt drive us. the driver had a spare of course and eventually we did go see the prince, but god did Veronika put up a fight.

once i realised the misunderstanding i felt so bad lmao, like my storyteller told me that it was one of the most difficult things they had to deal with as a GM and it was all because i was stupid and did not listen properly (though we laugh about it now, and they added it helped them improve as a GM by learning to deal with problem players). moral of the story is listen to your GM!!!

there is........ also the time Veronika shredded a group of hunters during a fury frenzy out in the woods but we don't talk about that.

Falling in love with the brush, oil brush my beloved!

Hannilia has two different versions, Fallen Symphony Hanni is her having the “angelic” accessories on her, and the OG timeline, Hanni was human who still goes by as Carmela Gomez.

Fallen Symphony Hanni was originally named as “Cyviathania Gomez”, or as “Cyviathan” for short.

[TW: HUGE OC LORE DUMP, SPIRITUAL AND SIN SHIT!]

(Demons and the “cursed ones” in Fallen Symphony are sent by the avatars of sin to go up to the surface and take down those who commit that specific sin of theirs. The avatars hate each other, and they all don’t want to have their sinners go with other sinners from different rings. Sadly, Hannilia before she was chosen, Satan and Asmodeus had to send both of their best elites to track her down.)

She was named to originally as “Cyviathania Gomez” while she was still human, but once she passed, her soul name was Hannilia. She was supposed to go to heaven, but Leviathan had targeted her soul, despite committing wrath and lust in the past, the recent sin she continuously displayed was envy, both malicious and benign envy after her life was falling apart.

The two demons sent to her was a woman from the lust ring, chosen to be Asmodeus’ first human succubus due to her huge record playing as temptation incarnate with multiple souls on Earth.

The second was a recent Fallen Angel from the wrath ring, the Angel used to be one of the throne angels in training, they spent millions of years by Father’s side, and had a task to watch over the bloodline of one of the disciples of his Son. sadly, the Angel’s little heart sank after the family they were supposed to protect had died from a disastrous fire, they can’t intervene with the physical since they can only intervene spiritually. Years later, the grave of the daughter.. the last of the bloodline, was disturbed by a foe from the family’s enemies that looked down upon. The delinquent from a distant home, a young adult who have a hatred to them began to mark the grave with insults and terrible words of mockery.

The boy, oh how he was so naive, thinking nothing will happen after vandalizing the daughter’s grave, but as time ticked away, so was the angel’s innocence. The angel’s anger grew at an incredible rate, enough to break through the spiritual barrier to the physical plane. The fate of the “angel” was sealed after Father was told from one of his other thrones that saw “Angelian” flew from heaven in a flash, and Satan get to claim a new solider who’s halo have been melted and rotten away as they perish into the depths of the Wrath Ring.

Hannilia was marked by the Fallen, her soul and the ring as a ticket to heaven was split into two. The malicious envy currently takes form in her corpse, the other was lost, finding its way back to be one again. The one eyed serpent, as beautiful internally, is fear upon those of the living, while the hand, beautiful from its “suit” it wears, its own split body of a soul is horrific that no man would ever see.

Etymology

Since the names for the Archons often coincide with the names of demons from Ars Goetia, I decided to make one of [First]’s names (ascribed by mortals), Vephar. As described by Wikipedia (this isn’t a college essay so yes I will be using Wikipedia and no one can stop me), 

“Vepar (also Separ, Vephar) is a strong Great Duke of Hell, and rules twenty-nine legions of demons. He governs the waters and guides armoured ships laden with ammunition and weapons; he can also make, if requested, the sea rough and stormy, and to appear full of ships. Vepar can make men die in three days by putrefying sores and wounds, causing worms to breed in them, but if requested by the conjurer he can heal them immediately. Vepar is depicted as a mermaid.”

This felt fitting, as darling is the God of Sand! Which leads into the next tidbit... 

Titles

God darling is called many things by the people of Liyue. They’re known as: Vephar, The God of Sand, The God of Love, and The Starry-Eyed (Maiden/Bachelor/Lover). They are only known as [First] to the Adepti and Rex Lapis. 

History

The fact eroded away with time, but God darling used to be known for their abilities in blacksmith/artisan work, specifically how they would create works of art with glass. This is what led Rex Lapis to them in the first place. They were a god without any interest in Celestia’s throne and the Archon War, who preferred the company of mortals. [First] and their people occupied the land known today as Yaoguang Shoal. 

[First] was beloved by the mortals under their care for their benevolence and work ethic. They taught humans how to forge glass from sand, acted as a mediatory when the scattered community had conflicts, and could frequently be seen walking the shoreline lost in thought. However, when approached by one of their people, the forlorn expression shifted to joy. There was no doubting the love [First] held in their heart for those under their care.

While they were a pacifist at heart, [First] was capable with a polearm. In poetry (commissioned by Zhongli in secret), [First]’s fighting style was described as “A dance fluid as the waters of Qingce”. Rex Lapis fought with strength and crushing power, they fought with grace and agility on the battlefield.

Lore

The descendants of those whose ancestor’s lived near Yaoguang Shoal preserved stories of their god. One such superstition is that before you should confess to your beloved, it is vital to search the beach’s shore until you find an entirely intact seashell. If you cannot find one, they believed that meant Vephar was against the union, and thus would not give their vital blessing. This could be remedied by searching every day until you found a perfectly whole seashell. The greatest find — a pearl — was said to be placed their as a blessing from Vephar themselves. These couples were described as having long-lasting bloodlines that carry on to this day. 

As such, pearls are a popular piece of jewelry with Vephar’s people. It symbolizes longevity and requited love to their people. 

There was a story, once written on scrolls that have all been mysteriously burnt or destroyed, that detailed Rex Lapis searching for an intact seashell every morning and every night when the tides would change. However, he was never able to find one that met the necessary requirements. Everything he uncovered was shattered and incomplete. Did that mean he was destined for his love to be unrequited forever? The tale had ended in one or two ways in its various iterations, preserved through oral retellings in secret. 

One where Rex Lapis was damned, to wander the shorelines forever, unable to ever rectify his doomed love. In the other, he gathered shards and fragments of shells. Uncaring of the jagged edges not meant to be together, he would slave over his work day and night, until he himself created a whole seashell for his love to be blessed. 

The people of Liyue were warned that recounting this story was “cursed”, but whether or not there is truth to this claim is unknown. It is said that grave misfortune would befall anyone who tried to transcribe it permanently onto parchment. 

“What is it with mortals and their fixation on spinning far-fetched tales?” 

“Hm, I do not understand why it troubles you so. I for one find this story most delightful.” 

“You look quite pleased with yourself.” 

“Can you fault me?”

CANON DIVERGENCE

I try to adhere to canon. However, I have my own headcanons, theories, and takes that make my Jin unique from canon. I also hate how Tekken 6 handled Jin’s character. He was uncharacteristically cruel, and his “plot” made little sense. It also defeats the original purpose of his character and why I love him so much. So while this blog still acknowledges 6, it was Devil Jin who started the war, and was in control of Jin’s body throughout all the events - Jin has NOTHING to do with it - Jin only gained strength and took back control near the very end, where he defeats Azazel. Thus, Jin’s own memories of 6, and the characters involved, are foggy or nonexistent.

Jin and Devil Jin are not the same person - Devil Jin isn’t just Jin, but he’s corrupted by the “devil gene.” In my depiction, Devil Jin is a separate entity who is parasitic and shares the same body as Jin.

Speaking of which - although this is, technically, a dual muse blog - if muse isn’t specified, then the default will always be Jin (as, he’s usually the one in control with the exception of TK6′s events) unless I feel the interaction fits Devil Jin or your muse has a more established relationship with Devil.

I don’t adopt movies (live action, OVA, or blood vengeance) the anime (bloodline) comics, or any adaptations in my canon. I only follow (most of) game canon, as trying to piece together the adaptations is too difficult as they’re very inconsistent with the games’ lore, and considered non-canon, too. However, I may cherry pick little things from adaptations if I see them fitting.

NSFW + Triggering content

Posts may contain some triggering content, frequent ones that’ll pop up are abuse/neglect, suicidal thoughts/ideation, and cannibalism may be one - even if Devil Jin isn’t a human, he still has a humanlike appearance. I try to tag all triggers. I refuse to write incest, or p*dophilia too. I will block you if you write these contents because they make me very uncomfortable.

diy blorbo post + you being my age made me feel a lot better about my own diy blorbos so thanks. and I was wondering. do you have any ocs you’d like to talk about. because I love hearing about other people’s ocs it’s one of my favourite hobbies.

🥺🥺🥺 pls thats so sweet,,, i genuinely think theres something so wonderful about making a character for yourself to obsess over and thats not just for like young teens or whatever its a universal right i think

as for my own ocs <3 um um i have. several who i rotate through chewing on but my current chew toy is my guy fioré leferni. (gorgeous delicious art commissioned from @rabdoidal)

hes been an oc for years and an au version of him got to be an antagonist npc in a campaign i dm, but ive recently been able to play him as a pc in a curse of strahd game and its so much fun just making him MISERABLE. he has the worst dice rolls its so funny this man cannot get a W

his backstory started out more tame but got steadily more melodramatic over time so it sounds silly to explain it all now, but basically he's a sorcerer by nature of his infernal bloodline (i built a "hellfire legacy" sorc subclass for him by cannibalising the phoenix sorc UA and borrowing/modifying from people trying to revamp it/make it better, and reflavouring a lot - i'd be happy to share if anyone wanted!) and was raised by his single mother. his father is a powerful devil who, on learning that the hellfire abilities were passed to fio, came to collect him (age varies between pc and npc versions of fioré, but around 8-12yrs old), take him to his fathers domain, and groom him to be a general/heir/tool/etc.

this kinda sucked for him, being a kid taken from his mother against both of their wishes and his shitty dad with impossible and unforgiving standards trying to turn him into some infernal superson, and depending on version, he either loses the interest of his father and gets discarded in the cruellest way possible (npc fio) or manages to escape and go on the run (pc fio).

pc fio is kinda the "true version" of the character, and is on the run because his escape is like a huge insult to his fathers name and its a point of pride for his father to hunt him down and punish him for defiance, as well as a big blow to his infernal social standing if this tool he invested so much time in defied him and got away with it.

@americankimchi drew this after one of our sessions and its probably my most cherished possessions. he is so fun to dunk on

character-wise, hes like. a wet little rag of a man. hes trying his best and he keeps just not getting there even at all. he tries so hard to be competent and put-together but it just makes him look even sadder.

he is 5'4 and his horns add like a solid 10 inches to his height and he bangs them on low doorframes

his natural accent is a sort of passive slightly southern drawl that comes out when hes either stressed/upset or super relaxed and off-guard, but he talks with a transatlantic accent like an old-timey movie character

his mother's name is robin; she's a human tailor and she was a really good mother who loved him very much. she tried to keep him from his father as long as possible. she doesn't know if he's alive or dead; she hasn't seen or heard from him in around 11 years (coincidentally, that's also how long its been since he was last hugged). he can't go back to see her or communicate in any way for fear of her getting hurt or his father finding him

he has a younger half-sister called arianna; she's about 9 or 10 and he has no idea she exists but if he did he would absolutely dote on her

hes developed psychosis as a response to the amount of shit hes gone through in the curse of strahd game

hes terrified of forgetting his mother's face

he likes to dress fancy and wear nice clothes, but due to being on the run he doesn't get to wear them often. when he does get nice things, he's really good at mending them because he helped his mother out at the tailors as a kid

he wishes he could wear fancy boots (maybe with a heel to make himself feel taller) but he cant because he has bird feet and bird legs. L

got a BIG sweet tooth but cant have anything sour or his face scrunches up

transed his gener (worked it out pretty early, like 10 or so. never an issue)

conceptualized while i was listening to six the musical too often, then vibe wise she went more on a victorian novel side-- i went with the (YEAH ITS CLICHE I KNOW) memory loss plot but tried making up for it by giving a lot of Vibes about this... murky past, i thought a lot about stuff like bronte novels and frankenstein... betrayed by her bethroted and separated from divinity and the memories of her past, POSSIBLY DROWNED AND KILLED, ready to do Anything to get revenge and all of her life back, and then... SHE ACTUALLY BECAME REALLY NICE AND CARING JUST KIND OF A #WEIRDWOMAN? not really the reasonable one of the party but... well sometimes she has to be EJDKKS she also became the team healer since she's the only spellcaster, and she's not very good at it but >:) i think thematically it's very nice as it leans in the fire druid vibe of like... the cycle of death and rebirth 🤔 we still get by okay since it's a homebrew rp heavy campaign, we solve lots of mysteries and fun sidequests so i get to use a lot of spells which is (chefs kiss) especially since druid is one of my favorite classes..! the main plot is super fun as well it plays with the party starting off as like. VARIOUS PETTY LITTLE CRIMINALS and then discovering they're prophetized heroes, and slowly learning how to be good people... starting with trying to save a little girl. which is still a work in progress but. dm immediately got me very attached to all npcs involved both in and out of character SO we gotta make it now. no way around it!!

w them i started like... i wanna do the tough guy with a heart of gold trope, and itd show with GYHDSF dyeing naturally pink hair from a fey bloodline into black. was in the middle of watching the witcher and fresh off an fma reread so it was already taking a certain direction... then my friends went and made em some family drama WHILE I SLEPT which ended up making em more of an ed elric and gerome firedemblem kinnie than previously planned complete with "parent dead b4 the start of the game wont stop haunting your narrative" and "depressed father is such a miserable little man"- the fall out w said father ended up being part of why they started hiding being half eladrin, cut any ties with their family and changing their hair and name (from mithra and its GDHJFG kind of a pun cuz thats close to the roman miter and tiarella flowers are called false miterworts... 😐) as well as hm kinda their whole personality like he used to be a populargirl cheerleader and now acts like he hates friendship so JDJDKSK the camp he's in is another hb one where we're working as adventures trying to become heroes so theres hm... a lot of the theme of being true to urself which 🥺 makes interactions w other pcs and npcs get very interesting and cute... im looking forward to getting em to open up more and get pink and appreciative of their heritage especially since i myself am very fond of their story since it was done together w some of my dearest friends 🫂

i do make a bunch of new guys all the time for oneshots or just for fun but these are my blorbos..... im glad they ended up in the campaigns and with the dms they did because rly nothing makes u get attached and ready to write lots like other lovly people who want to join u and do the same so i'm really thankful for them... anyway!! ty for the ask and for reading this far if u did it's always fun to share this kinda stuff!! 😊💕
