Asuka 120% Series 1999

The Asuka 120% series is an all female roster fighting game set in the fictional Ryōran Private Girl's Academy with each member of the roster representing one of the schools clubs. The Asuka 120% series was predominantly developed by Fill in Café until their 1998 bankruptcy.

In 1999 following the release of the PlayStation title Asuka 120% Final: BURNING Fest. the series would have one final release, this last entry in the series would be exclusive to Windows and would be titled Asuka 120% Return: BURNING Fest.

I love that the Chairmen are like the lameos of The Strip. Like it just says so much about how the Boot Riders were that they are just so fine being like Vegas cool guys.

Everyone at The Tops sans Benny is content, happy and fine with how things play out. They just like having food, women and something to do. Like occasionally they have to use some of their tribal warrior skills when threats like the Courier pop up but they are like if you took mountain lions and gave them a kitty spa day and now they refuse to leave.

Of course, the other families think they’re boring like one of them is literally eating bitches and The Tops just has the worst Wasteland’s Got Talent contestants as premiere acts.

#sorry they are just silly like they don’t give a fuck #they like to stay in their little hotel and do fuck all like all the families are closed off #but the chairmen are so eh about it like they look through you while the other two are actively like fuck you you aren’t one of us #someone mod the female chairmen back in the game #also I noticed the chair men have a noticeable and distinct roughness to their voices sans Benny and Tommy so I know headcanon they had #calls and chants for when scouting or in combat so most chairmen messed up their voice before joining house #but seriously these guys are like when Stan Lee is missing the fight behind him in spiderman like they are eating bitches and making bombs #right next door and what? you just need new talent? like I know Bennys doing wild shit but no one else knows #the others where scheming at major levels within the organizations Benny is the chairmen outlier they are so funny #fallout #fallout new vegas #fnv #benny gecko #the chairmen

MY GIRLS THEYRE TAKING MY GIRLS AWAY FROM ME!#like its been a part of my daily routine for like a year and half now... im not gonna know what to do with myself #i really cant stand all the people being like HAHA EAT SHIT AND DIE GACHA GAME #like i will not defend the gacha aspect. i wish it it did not have to be a gacha. i acknowledge gacha games as a concept suck #but like relive wasnt some souless cash grab gacha game #the writers clearly had real passion for what they were doing. they had stories to share with us in the revue starlight universe #and sadly the way things are shitty gacha game was how they were able to make it possible #and truly it had such amazing stories. like. theres no media quite like rev star. a complete cast of female characters #all of them complex and flawed and getting to have big messy feelings!! and fighting eachother with magic swords about those feelings!!#all the different relationships between them love and rivalry and friendships and sisterhoods all complicated and fleshed out #LIKE IT JUST MEANT MUCH TO HAVE THE STEADY STREAM OF COMPELLING STORIES ENTIRY FOCUSED ON GIRLS #and now its going to be gone. i know theres still all the other revstar medoa and hope they keep doing stuff with the francise #i hope we see the frontier and rinmeikan girls again someday. they honestly had the most moments that made my jaw drop #onward to the next stage #right?#anyways do you get it talent show lol cause theyre stage performers

now that i'm playing dragon age: veilguard i understand hbomberguy so much better. think i could probably do a 3.5 hours long video called "dragon age: the veilguard is FINE and here's why"

#the writing in dragon age has Always been a bit clunky it's part of the charm #but yes there are sections in DAV that made me go “oh nooo”#but no it isn't as bad as people say #the mechanics are fun idc. it's bad that my new laptop can run all of BG3 fine but becomes laggy as hell in any city location in DAV tho #companions r generally charming and they're all professionals so it makes sense they're less prone to big fights than say DAO morrigan #but yes i do miss having a bit more tension in the party sometimes #the character creator is great for dudes but yea it would probably b cool if it were possible to have curvier bodies for those who want tha #but no it isn't literally impossible to make good-looking rooks. it's quite easy actually #and like yeah you can't have wildly out there body types but it's pretty cool that you can be a geralt type a twink or chubby as a dude #(i play male characters and have only done the female cc once for a custom f!inquisitor so i have more experience w that one)#the qunari also look. fine? the antaam don't look too soft or anything so far #the majority of complaints against this game were stupid and not rooted in anything real #BUT!!! i don't love it #solas continues to be a highlight #lucanis is great so far and i love neve #neve's voice acting is amazing #she manages to make some very disappointing lines sound good #but..... i can't pretend the writing *isn't* awkward in places #d'meta's crossing stands out to me as a pretty bad case of overly direct storytelling #(spoilers) talking to the mayor was deeply disappointing! he just TOLD rook what he did and why. it felt so anticlimactic #especially bc the imagery in the village was striking and grotesque #but there didn't feel like there was any payoff #other sections have been great #but DAV just feels like it completely lacks subtlety at times #the other DA games haven't always been masters of show dont tell but this section felt like a first draft #like someone was working out the story and didn't have time to polish the script at all before the voice actors were called in #idk it really stands out to me as bad #also yeah it's noticeable that you don't really get to do evil things. at least not yet

Following the 1997 release of Asuka 120% Excellent: BURNING Fest. for the PlayStation, the Sega Saturn would also receive a release in the Asuka 120% series. This would also be the final release in the series from developer Fill in Café. The studio would go into bankruptcy in 1998 with the IP's owned by the studio acquired by the Asuka 120% series publisher Success.

Success would go on to develop the remainder of the series the first being the 1999 released Asuka 120% Final: BURNING Fest. Like the other releases in the series that appeared on the PlayStation, this 1999 release would also be re-released for the PSP, PS3 and PS Vita. #shortsvideo #shorts

I kind of kept drifting after going crazy and writing like 50k for warrior cats, and now I’m fully in the novel trenches. Specifically I got really into Korean and Chinese web novels- idk if you saw The Untamed blow up on tumblr around 2020? They got me. I was toast.

Oh and horror podcasts. I knit and crochet and those rock for entertainment when you can’t look up often.

I’ve always got drafts open- I just don’t post until I have a solid ending in mind or enough chapters that I’m on the right track- and most are TGCF, SVSSS, and the one-off warriors/video game/Magnus Archives/etc.

Anyway!! I do plan to integrate interests from my main account here once I have time to compile and then overhaul, so a quick list of the most frequent fandoms are:

The Magnus Archives, Scum Villain, The Untamed, Malevolent, Heaven Official’s Blessing, Dunmeshi, and a handful of tinier fandoms like Ace Attorney.

If that’s wholly outside your interests no worries. If you do like one or more, run away before I find out and yap your ear off.

#i finished the main games in the first ace attorney #man I forget how much I love edgeworth #but yeah idk how it happened either #I don’t get merch #like ever #my entire life #now I have tgcf merch #tbh I think the biggest factor is that without hp to anchor my interests I got a lot weirder about what things I like #sd speaks #you may notice just about all of these have male leads #I do have plenty with female leads #but EXTREMELY FRUSTRATINGLY #those don’t get nearly as much attention #so no fanbases and definitely no official translation to give you a reliable way to read them #that or it’s too popular and trapped behind a very predatory reading app #One day I’m going to fight for custody of For Better Or Worse #but it is not this day

I don't know if this is already painfully obvious by the Nordic sounding and mostly made up names, but Svanhildre and the other characters in the series were inspired by my horny Skyr*m shenanigans.

#svanhildre is my latest db #i have the beeing female mod and this is the first playthrough where i have mostly realistic settings #the pregnancy is shorter than a full in game 9-10 months but still lengthy #and i do have it set for guaranteed multiples and a max of 6 babies lol #but other than that #i even have her try really hard to avoid getting pregnant #but she's on her 4th pregnancy already i think #it's fun trying to hide her belly with different clothes #but at a certain point it's impossible #so i have to imagine that she uses some kind of spell to hide it #because there's no way no one would comment on it especially as huge as she gets #and i'm sure that a lot more people would hesitate to fight a massively pregnant woman #she rarely gets hit at all though. absolute beasted magic user #she has followers mostly to keep the enemies away from her lol but they just love to run in the way of her fireballs #they're also there to carry all her stuff #if anyone is interested i'll post some screencaps maybe #i have to reinstall but i have my data folder backed up so my mods should be ok

Most of the characters in Angel Star Road clearly have moves from other fighting games, but I feel like this character takes too much.

Irina has Ray McDougal's WHEEEL KICK, Aran from Rumble Fish's VERTICAL STRIKE, 2 or 3 Kim Kaphawn moves, and she has a move like Yamazaki's Snake Tamer but is probably based off of another similar move by Garnet from Rumble Fish.
