Sorry but Tori and KJ are so dreamy help 🫠 The Cheerleader and the QB. I hope they start off as friends and only friends for now because I can't have her hurt and he is so clearly in love with Amina and it'd more of a Dhea copy pasta situation than Spayla and for once I need the designated disposable gf aka Veronica Lodge archetype to win ... and the nickname "Oakland" just sweet

And Khalil and Amina are giving me endgame forever love I'm crying. He definitely needs to learn how to treat her better because he obviously likes her too but doesn't want to put her in danger. Please I will eat up the pining and bittersweetness with them and even if they don't end up together I love their story sm. He'll totally lose her for some time for Aminas character development and I'm ready to see that

And Amina and KJ yes there's chemistry but been there, done that. Literally no electricity, no sparkling. They are trying so hard to replicate Dimone (and I'm a hater) and Spelivia. But when I think of how Spelivia started all their scenes were so magical and natural. I even remember shipping Dimone in the back door pilot ... crazy but there were some sparks. I hope they let them date now because a) maybe I'll start liking them and b) a forced will they won't they only to have a plot, ruins the show and ship (Dimone)

It's funny because I think Khalil is annoying but he is giving me such a Nathan Scott, "I'll never love anyone the way I love you", loverboy energy in a passive aggressive and idiotic way. Some character development and good writing (HAHA) will fix that. Meanwhile I can see KJ flip flopping and dating around and fall for anyone when he feels that way. I like both types to an extent and I like to be proven wrong. I'd love to see them become friends one day.

Same for Amina and Tori they need to befriend. Tori is not a main character but she's so lovely and adorable I wanna know more about her.

Excited to see how everything plays out and if NK lets go of her typical and predictable formula. I mean the lines are still as terrible as always but we'll see.

I really liked episode 2. Even though I thoroughly enjoyed everything that they did with Jordayla this episode, I would've liked to see Jordan's reaction to what was happening with Layla. Seeing Olivia made me realize how much I miss her. I truly believe we're missing out by not following her nor Spencer through the next phase of this series and, similar to Jordayla, I would've loved to see Spencer's physical reaction. I like where Coop is headed but I'm worried y'all. I'm not sure what to think about her interactions with this new professor. Are they gonna keep it professional or what? I really liked Amina's interactions with Khalil & KJ; especially, Khalil. That might be the ship y'all, that might be the ship. Yasi got a lot of mouth for somebody that ain't got no hands (lol). Tori's cute, I like Tori. Similar to Yasi I feel like we're going to keep seeing her throughout the season, so hopefully they do something good with her. All in all, episode 2 did it's thing. I'm still invested so I'll definitely be checking out episode 3 next week.

🚨SHOCKER: Daniel Ezra, Samantha Logan, Cody Christian, Karimah Westbrook, Monét Mazur and Chelsea Tavares are not returning as series regulars for season 7 of 'ALL AMERICAN'.

So AA got renewed but what is it going to look like when a lot of the main cast aren't even series regulars anymore? I know they are probably doing this for financial reasons - lower status means lower paycheck - but it can still affect the show.

Granted I don't watch AA so I don't know if its enough of an ensemble that this won't effect things too much, but still another sh*tty move by the CW.

So... Glee season 5? LOL! (Probably worse). From what I can see of the comments, a lot of people are just wishing it were canceled.

Why would you renew a show and then get rid of 6 main cast members? Just make a new spin-off and pay all new actors the crappy first season wages.

Now, whether it's a crap move by the CW or by WB, it's hard to tell, but it's likely neither company is ponying up the money to pay for the existing cast, so they're left with a show no one will want to watch.

Starting to fall in love with All American for All American and not only for ships 🙏🏿 This has been the first time since season 4 that I watched an entire episode and even enjoyed the little football scenes. I always watched for Spelivia. Not even Spencer. It was for Spelivia and Olivia, so I never cared for that football part. But Khalils storyline is so exciting and he's been written so well this episode. I can't wait to see him rise to the top. Loved that he chose the 0 it'll make everything so emotional later on. Also love that he's standing up against that idiotic Yasi. He's been doing too much in a way that you might think there's more to his anger towards Khalil. We already know that they'll end up loving each other but he's so annoying. I think Khalil will really get along with KJ if it's the right time. I'm not convinced on KJs storyline because we've seen that definitely with Damon and Spencer too I think ? And it's not exciting. I feel like him and Khalil will either end up switching places or he'll end up at Crenshaw. They're already building that up a little. And honestly? Sounds familiar too but that would be fun. I deeply love KJs interactions with Tory and even with Amina. Tory speaks real while Aminas advives seem so motherly. He's so in love with her and as long as he keeps it friendly with Tory I'm cool with them. Just let him date Amina please. And I can't keep watching Amina embarrass herself in front of Khalil. Their friendship, interactions and chemistry is everything but I feel like the rejection kinda closed the door for them and I'm so crushed. They didn't have to make her try to kiss him. Maybe it'll help her to get over him but for their relationship that was just down terrible. Unless they don't show us Khalil talking about his feelings for Amina and make him say that he rejected her because he loves her it's so over for them.

Okay I wrote more about ships again but I loved the football storyline, the friendships and Khalils story the most. So excited for more.

7X04? First, where's Amina & why wasn't she in this episode?

Second, why can't the writers nip this Billy plot in the bud by having Jordan ask Coach Bobby if he's his uncle outright? (Rhetorical, of course) All I'm saying is that I would've definitely given them kudos if they would've wrapped this up by the end of the episode. Layla reminding Jordan that he thought Spencer was his brother was funny though.

Y'all know I'm biased when it comes to Layla so the fact that she's back in her producer bag, I'm always gonna live for that. Coop advocating for second chances was cute, but I gave her the side eye when she was watching that professor's lecture (I'm pretty sure we can all guess where that's going).

Khalil's storyline was just okay. Gone are the days where All American shows us an actual scene as opposed to having us rely solely on context clues. The only time I got chills from Khalil's dad's presence was the last scene in the locker room. In my opinion, Season 1 approached gang violence in a way that the stakes were constantly raised which kept me invested. Personally, I wasn't invested until that locker room scene.

As I stated in my previous episode review, this week was Cassius' turn to be mad for 45 minutes. This tit for tat between him & KJ has run stale. Glad his mom showed up I thought we weren't gonna see her anymore until the finale.

For whatever the reason this episode just didn't keep my interest. I thought about rewatching it distraction free but couldn't make it past the five minute mark. Hopefully next week can pick the pace back up because it looks like it might be a fun episode but we'll see.
