right. finished s7 of buffy. I cannot believe what made me start bawling my eyes out wasn’t like idk fucking spike burning to a crisp, or maybe the loss of sunnydale cause those sorts of things can make me sad, or even the fact the show was ending, but anya. oh. my. god. how could they DO that to her?

My opinion on Big Mouth (characters)

surprisingly, Lola is my favourite character. I know she's stupid and girly, but if you really look into her it's clear she's a broken girl who was told what to do all her life. I loved her relationship with Jay, and you can tell that she was vulnerable and actually liked him for who he was. In the last episode, their breakup really made me cry. Jay had told her he loved her, and she didn't say it back. It was because everyone she had once loved left her. This is relevant as it's true with her mom and Deven. Her mind had convinced her that she should tell him because Jay 'isnt like anyone else' but it's too late because he already went back to his pillows. he was an asshole, and I hope he learns his mistake and they get back together in season 5.

i had mixed feelings with Nick and Andrew. They were both assholes, but I feel like in the later episodes it really came out of Andrew. At the summer came especially. I really hated him in the beginning of season 4, but luckily he got better. However, when he pushed that kid out of the wheelchair? not cool.

Missy and Jay's friendship was really underrated. I loved the writing duo and it was surprising to see Jay interested in something other than his pillows. Speaking of him, despite his crappy thing with Lola, I really like him. He has the BEST one-liners in the show and you can fight me on that. Also, he's very strong. It is showed many times that he has a shitty home life, an alcoholi mother, 2 bitchy brothers and a barely active father. I would have never guessed any of this because he's so chill, you know? You can tell he tries to focus on the positive. So, I think he's lying to himself- Either way, i respect him for using humour as a coping mechanism. Also, people need to give him a lot more respect, for example when he came out as bi. I loved Mia in that episode.

I just can't say anything bad about Matthew. He makes the best standard gay character with a little more background story himself. It is clear in the earlier seasons he thinks of himself as the smart, mean gay kid and is shocked when he starts to question his own identity. I hate his mom with a passion, and I felt so sad when she told him that he would be baking in hell. Who says that to their own son? especially when they had such a good relationship, and his sexuality is something that she think ruined it. I shipped Jay and Matthew for a bit but I really like him with Aiden. it's cute when you can tell he actually starts liking him because he gets all nervous around him. I stan his dad though. Maury is good for him but I wanna see him interact with Connie, you know?

The hormone monsters really make the show happen. Maury and Connie are my personal favourites, and I hated the one Missy got in season 4. also, Missy's new voice actress just isnt the same, but rules are rules I guess.
