So now in my journey to add to my leyning skills, I am learning high holiday trope (because of course I am) so that I can leyn a (very short, thankfully) aliyah on Yom Kippur.

I am... most of the way there on the trope? I think? Idk I really need to confirm that I'm right with someone, but I know all of them except zarka segol which doesn't appear in my verses and sof aliyah which is a tomorrow or Thursday problem.

Official photo releasted on the occassion of Prince Hashim bin Al Hussein’s 42nd birthday, who was born on June 10, 1981 (8th of Shaban, 1401 Hijri) to the late King Hussein bin Talal and Queen Noor.

He is a 41st generation direct descendant of the Prophet Mohammad and the youngest brother of King Abdullah II. Prince Hashim completed his primary education in Amman and later graduated from high school in the United States in 1999.

In 1999, he attended the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst in the United Kingdom, from which he graduated in 2000, commissioning as a second lieutenant in the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army. He received several awards, including an award for the best aggregate mark in his academic studies for non-British officers.

Prince Hashim graduated with distinction from Georgetown University’s Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service on August 12, 2005, and subsequently completed his higher education in Quran studies at Balqa Applied University in Jordan, graduating on September 5, 2006. On December 1, 2014, he also earned a master’s degree in Defence Studies from King’s College London in the United Kingdom.

During Prince Hashim’s career in the military, he rose through the ranks of the Special Operations Command, serving in all three of its branches Special Forces, Counterterrorism, and the Rangers. In 2015, he was assigned command of the 61st Royal Rangers Battalion (Al Maghaweer) which is specialised in urban, desert, and advanced mountain operations. Prince Hashim’s last active military role was as adviser to the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff for Special Forces and Rapid Reaction Forces.

During his military career, Prince Hashim completed his Platoon Commanders’ Battle Course in the US at Fort Benning in 2007, where he achieved the best marks among international officers taking part in the training. In 2009, Prince Hashim participated in and successfully completed the Infantry Company Commanders Course in the UAE during which he achieved the highest level of academic excellence, and in 2014 he attended the Advanced Command and Staff College in England (ACSC17) and successfully completed it, earning his Post Staff College (Joint) PSCJ.

On January 12, 2017, a Royal Decree was issued appointing Prince Hashim as His Majesty’s Chief Royal Councillor, and he continued his service until his resignation in September 2020.

Prince Hashim has been sworn in as Regent on several occasions and accompanied King Abdullah II on several official functions.

Prince Hashim is the head of Alfaris International Horseback Archery Championship and is a proficient blade-smith. He also enjoys hiking.

His Royal Highness is fluent in Arabic and English. He studied Hebrew in university and he is a student of the Turkish language.

On January 6, 2006, Prince Hashim married Princess Fahdah and they have five children: Their Royal Highnesses Prince Al Hussein born in June 2015, Prince Al Hassan born in October 2019, Princess Haalah born in April 2007, Princess Raiyah born in July 2008 and Princess Aliyah born in November 2011.

La serie, ambientada en Nebraska (USA) tiene a dos jóvenes protagonistas femeninas Hope Bennett e Iris Bennett (ALEXA MANSOUR y ALIYAH ROYALE) y se centra en la primera generación de jóvenes en alcanzar la mayoría de edad en medio del apocalipsis sin que tengan conocimiento de cómo era el mundo antes de la aparición de los caminantes o muertos vivos.

Ellas, junto a muchas otras personas viven en un campus ajenas a todo lo que pasa fuera de allí.Hope e Iris lideran a un pequeño grupo (con dos chicos mas Silas y Elton) de jovenes que decide dar el paso de explorar el mundo que hay más allá de lo que conocen para buscar a su padre Leopold Bennett (JOE HOLT), un científico que ha sido reclutado (secuestrado) por la REPUBLICA CIVICA MILITAR (a 1700km).Este grupo de jovenes son perseguidos por Huck (ANNET MAHENDRU), al fin y al cabo leal a la Republica y por Félix (NICO TORTORELLA), leal al padre de las chicas; al que prometió cuidarlas a cualquier costo.Hasta aqui la narrativa principal.

Hay otras subtramas (no muchas) y tienen que ver con los traumas personales y familiares de cada uno de ellos, que se nos van desvelando en forma de flashbacks.En cualquier caso, nos mostrara como los personajes son puestos a prueba y eso desencadenara una evolución de los mismos en un terreno dificil y fuera de su confort.

Este show debo decirlo es un producto de segunda categoría, es una serie liviana donde faltan figuras (salvo JULIA ORMOND presidenta o dictadora de la República), y en donde los personajes tienen una falta casi total de carisma (salvo Iris).

Sin embargo aporta algunas respuestas con respecto a la serie madre (The Walking Dead), que pudo haber sido del futuro de Rick Grames , dada la aparición de Jadis (Aquí es Anne, POLLYANNA MCINTOSH) quien salvo su vida yéndose en un helicóptero junto al muy mal herido Rick.Y por si esto fuera poco también aporta algún tipo de respuesta de donde pudo haber surgido el virus, se da a entender que de un laboratorio y por supuesto por medio de la mano del ser humano.

La serie es lenta y tediosa, se nota una producción floja.Los Zombis mas que meter miedo son algo como anecdótico.

Hay personajes irrelevantes (como Percy) y le falto crear un interés real.Mi puntaje para esta serie en un 5/10.

Royal Rumble 2023 Predictions

Asterisk: I don’t really watch the shows anymore, really only the clips on Youtube and some of the premium live events. But I really enjoy the Rumble event, so here’s my best predictions to what’s going to happen.

Bianca Belair [C] vs. Alexa Bliss - Predicted Winner: Bianca Belair WWE has a problem with too many unbeatable champions right now. Bianca is absolutely retaining until Wrestlemania, and probably even longer. Also, I don’t really get or like the Uncle Howdy stuff, and I have criticism of the recent creative direction where everybody seems to be going back to the gimmick where they were most over.

Bray Wyatt vs. LA Knight - Predicted Winner: LA Knight For years, I have not been a big fan of Bray Wyatt’s “say something spooky and cryptic for four weeks and then lose the feud” booking. I also don’t even really get why Brey is the face in this feud. I think, based on all this Uncle Howdy nonsense, he should win this match, but I also can’t get over the idea that he always loses.

Roman Reigns [C] vs. Kevin Owens - Predicted Winner: Roman Reigns The Bloodline was getting stale for me, but I really like the recent change of starting to turn Sami and Jey face while leaving the others as heels. They’re obviously going to get involved in this match, because they always interfere in Roman’s matches. Roman will retain both titles until Wrestlemania, and possibly even retaining one of them afterwards.

Women’s Royal Rumble - Top 3 picks: Liv Morgan, Asuka, Ronda Rousey If Charlotte hadn’t won the title, I think she would have been the clear favorite to win. I don’t think there are a lot of viable winners, and this match clearly doesn’t have the heat that Roman brings to the men’s match. I don’t think Rhea wins this year, because she can easily make her own way to Bianca. Becky is also a possible winner, but she needs to face someone different than the current champions. The winner will likely challenge Charlotte I think. Other predictions that I’d like to see - Wendy Choo cameo from NXT, Aliyah return from injury, Mandy Rose return

Men’s Royal Rumble - Top 3 picks: Seth Rollins, Kevin Owens, Austin Theory I think there’s more to explain in who I didn’t pick. I don’t think Sami Zayn is going to win. This version of him is just not a main event player across from Roman. I also don’t think Cody Rhodes will win after having wrestled only a couple matches in WWE and having been injured for so long. However, if Seth wins, I think they might do a “multiple winners” controversy so that he and Cody both win and can challenge for one title each (Cody for the historical legacy of the WWE title, Seth for the more prestigious Universal title). Kevin was my pick before he got the championship match, and I think he’s still likely to win from entry #30 depending on just how many Bloodline shenanigans occur earlier in the night. And I just like Austin Theory, if he doesn’t win the Rumble, give him a match against John Cena. Other predictions that I’d like to see - Kofi doesn’t do any nonsense spots, Tyler Breeze return, Enzo Amore return
