Killing Eve is able to convey so many emotions in one single minute, it’s insane like... Eve smiles because she thinks the cake is from Niko, then she looks at the box and notices that it’s from a british bakery, and Niko is in Poland so it couldn’t have been him. Her smile drops and she brings the box very carefully to the rooftop, where she’s almost afraid to open it. It could be a head. Or a bomb. She sees the bus, realizes it was Villanelle the one who sent it. She’s disappointed it wasn’t her husband, angry it was the psychopath assassin she has feelings for. Angry that out of all people, Villanelle was the only one who remembered her birthday. She throws the cake off the building, regretting it immediately. The only true connection she has left is with someone who tried to kill her. And that smashed cake on the ground? A flashback of Kenny’s body.
