alice dyer is soooo losergirl to me btw <3 you see her and you just go yeah. she’s a loser. she works overnights in a job she does not care to do properly i think she shows up to most shifts with a water bottle she’s poured 2 cans of monster into in sweatpants slippers and a shirt that’s 3 sizes too big. and a beanie or perhaps backwards snapback because she hasn’t washed her hair in a few days and it shows. i’m in love with her
#maybe i’ll try to draw her later im so fascinated w her#alice dyer you are sooooo#i think she also sometimes wears the ugliest thrifted ankle length skirts known to man and incomprehensibly looks hot as hell in them#i love losergirls#tmagp

genuinely curious bc I’m confused.. is there more stuff about blonde El vs dark haired El? bc kid’s hair just kinda does that sometimes when they get older. like, I feel like in Terry’s flashback she had to have been no more than 5, so it’s more than possible that in the 3-ish years between then and when she’s 8 in the flashbacks in s4, her hair could have darkened. I say this as a child who had really blonde hair as a kid that stayed really light through the beginning of elementary school, and now as an adult is almost brunet. apologies if this info is somewhere.. I just couldn’t find it and was confused bc it seems like a non-important detail lol
Hey, so I've talked about this before! For convenience, I'll put a comparison here though.
Clara/Charlotte Ward vs Anniston/Tinsley Price vs Millie Bobby Brown ~age 4
Clearly blondes vs clearly a brunette.
Clara and Charlotte Ward ~age 8
Tinsley and Anniston Price ~age 10 (for blondness comparison)
Martie Marie Blair ~age 10-11
Millie Bobby Brown ~age 11
Clearly still blond/dirty blonds vs clearly a medium brown.
I've said it before and I'll say it again here:
Carmen Cuba is sooooo good at casting...right up until the casting hints at something you might not like.
Then, we ignore evidence of multiple timelines (where hair color swapping between brown and blonde is a thing). Then, instead, we just shrug our shoulders and go "well...I dunno I guess she went from medium blonde to deep brown in the span of 4 years".
And, by the way: It is important info.
We have a Virginia-Alice Mother-Daughter swap in ST4's newspapers. Henry's mother is Virginia, his sister is Alice. Edward's mother is Alice, his sister is Virginia.
Tyner Rushing, brown/brown, as Bottle-Blonde Virginia Creel (Henry's timeline)
Livi Birch, blond/blue, as Naturally-Blonde Alice Creel (Henry's timeline)
Cara Buono, brown/brown, as Bottle-Blonde Karen Wheeler (Edward's timeline..?)
Sounds like a possible Sister-Virginia, no? Mother-Alice would then be naturally blond in order to complete the pattern, and we already have a character with very little backstory who fits her description:
Cathrine Dyer, blonde/blue, as Connie Frazier.
So, were we to have a brunette El and a blonde El, one for each Henry/Edward timeline, that would fit the pattern.
Plus, we have Terry Ives, El's mother, who is still a dark blond/light brunette 10 years after her ECT-lobotomy.
Her, compared to our clearly dark-brown-haired El in ST3-4, when we can really see what her hair looks like grown out...
It's not a stretch for me to say Baby El and 1979 El aren't the same girl.
Hope this helps!
