Algorhythm at The Rockpool, Gwithian. September 16th 2017

Algorhythm is a new club concept born in the SW. We are a collective of musicians & DJs creating emotive, deep & progressive House / Techno nights. After our sold out debut night in June we are collaborating with The Critical Slide Society and returning to The Rockpool (formerly The Sandsifter) on September 16 for Algorhythm 02. Algorhythm will host the official after party of TCSS's Smooth Movers traditional surfing event. Our 4 acts will each showcase their unique style across a range of House & Techno through an imported Funktion-One sound system until the early hours. A beautiful location on the West coast of Cornwall which will play host to a weekend of surfing and electronic music, means our follow up event is set to be another epic night.... DJs: Crawford Crawford is the moniker of South west DJ/producer, Charlie Boon. Despite only being on the front lines for just over a year and at the young age of 20 Crawfords productions and clinical staff DJ sets have seen him become one of the rising stars of the scene. He has just released his new record 'Africa' on Eton Messy Records which has been supported by the likes of Patrick Topping, Klose One, Solardo and Elliot Adamson. Crawford also made his Glastonbury debut this summer as well as various other festival appearances. After playing an absolute blinder of a set at our debut night back in June, we are absolutely buzzing to have him back to perform at Algorhythm 02... HIDIN' At the young age of 21, HIDIN’ has smashed the South West music scene. Her passion for house music is far beyond the norm and this shows within her music selection. Her sets cover genres that include House, Bass, Tech House and Techno. She has warmed up for the likes of KryWolf and Shadow Child, for the Canvas Party at Pendennis, and earlier this year supported Low Steppa. As well as this, she's performed at The Masked ball, Boardmasters, Leopallooza, Kynance, frENDzy, Youth Culture and Durty Disco / Durty Disco presents NYTA. She has graced the decks at Motion (Bristol), Thekla and Latoka where she supported the likes of Lee Walker, Plastician & other Bass music legends. HIDIN's recently returned from a stint in Ibiza where she performed at Sankeys, Pukka Up boat parties, various nights in PURE where she played for Steph Macdonald (Winner: Best DJ Newcomer 2016) and Georgie Marshall. HIDIN’ is definitely a woman you need to look out for over the next few years and we're hyped to have her play at this Algoryhthm night... Timbo Anyone who's been a regular festival / party goer in the SW in recent years will almost certainly be familiar with the name Timbo. As well as a recent career highlight when he featured alongside techno superstars Ansome, Raymundo Rodriguez and DeFect at a South London Analogue Material event at the Corsica Studios in London, Timbo has played memorable sets at The Masked Ball, Kynance Party, frENDzy, Love Riot, and My Heroes Killed Cowboys nights amongst others, since first bursting onto the scene in the early 2000's. We are proud to have such a technically gifted, underground DJ on our lineup for September 16... Tom Chapman A unique blend of some of the deeper and more melodic shades of House and Techno has seen Tom earn appearances at festivals such as The Masked Ball and frENDzy over the past couple of years. His energetic sets are woven with melody and groove, and he's back behind the decks on September 16...
